Anways to answer this question:

Dream throws Ranboo under the bus and blames him for blowing up the community house. Since in this au the enderwalk isn’t mind control, it’s just a more endermany Ranboo with his own set of memories. EW!Ranboo willingly chatted with and took lessons from Dream so he could understand his perspective. But after he was fired Dream didn’t want him getting in his way later on, so he blamed ranboo in hopes of getting him on everyone’s bad side (while also undermining Tubbo’s leadership and getting more people against L’manburg)

Dream’s dialogue was along the lines of:

“How come no one ever told me both Tommy AND Ranboo burned down George’s house? Now look what’s happened! Seriously Tubbo, can you control any of your citizens?”

While some people distrusted Ranboo after this, Tubbo still defended them and trusted them completely. How could he not? They had been by his side through all of this. He wasn’t about to lose Ranboo over a destroyed building, not when they all had doomsday ahead of them…

As for Dream teaming up with techno, I think that was just bound to happen. Their goals aligned so their team up wasn’t that far fetched.

Sixteenth Day Event Prompt:

Tommy has a dream about his past life

A short little season 2 c!primeboys-centric fic for this prompt:

“What’s up?” Dream asks, closing and latching the gate to their new chicken pen. “You look like you have something on your mind.” 

“I’ve been having weird dreams lately,” Tommy says. “A couple nights ago, I dreamt that Tubbo had nukes! Crazy, innit?” 

Dream laughs softly, and the sound is a bit airy with a hint of a wheeze, as though there’s something wrong with his lungs. Not that Tommy would be surprised if Dream had lung issues, but he’s never thought to ask. Maybe Dream just has a weird laugh. That wouldn’t be surprising, either—he’s a weird dude. Dream likes to say that Tommy’s equally as weird, but Tommy would like to refute that and say that he’s perfectly normal, thank you very much. 

“Tubbo with nukes sounds terrifying,” Dream says.

He throws a handful of wheat seeds into the pen and watches as their newly acquired chickens flock to them. 

Tommy thinks cows are cooler, personally, but they haven’t got the materials to rebuild their cow pen after Sapnap—the blaze hybrid they met a couple weeks ago—burnt it down accidentally. If you ask Tommy, he thinks it was less of an accident than Sapnap claims, but Dream just tells him he’s paranoid every time he calls Sapnap a wrong’un. Which, if Tommy might add, is very hypocritical considering Dream is the definition of paranoid. And skittish. Dream is very skittish; every time they talk to someone else, Dream looks like he’s ready to bolt if they so much as look at him wrong. 

Tommy’s the only exception to that, which is something he takes a lot of pride in. Well, technically, Dream’s just as comfortable with the snakes that follow him around, but Tommy’s fine with that. He’s the only person who Dream’s fully comfortable around, and it’s nice, makes him feel special. 

“You were in my dream last night,” Tommy finally says. He pauses and then scoffs. “Dreaming of Dream. Kinda sounds like a shitty pun.” 

Dream turns around to look at him, rolling his eyes playfully. “I’m not changing my name, Tommy,” he says. It’s something Tommy’s brought up many times before, mostly jokingly. 

“You sure? Maybe you should. It’s making this conversation too complicated.” 

Dream laughs again, shaking his head. It’s nice—sometimes, Tommy gets in his head about being too annoying, but Dream takes it all in stride. It does make Tommy feel a bit bad sometimes when he teases Dream a bit too far, since the poor bloke just takes it without retaliation, but Dream’s ability to go along with him is nice nonetheless. 

“So, I was in your dream last night,” Dream says. “What was it about?” 

Tommy swallows the lump in his throat. It wasn’t really a nice dream, though not quite a nightmare, either. Maybe if it had been a nightmare, it’d be easier to talk about. The two of them have enough nightmares that it’s become pretty normal to even just talk about the emotions the nightmares left. 

Tommy’s dream last night wasn’t a nightmare; it had just settled heavily in his mind this morning, that’s all. 

“You were sad because we weren’t friends,” Tommy says, trying to phrase it in the most lighthearted way possible. “Throwing a proper tantrum over it and everything.” 

Maybe that’s not entirely true. All Tommy really got from the dream was this downright awful sense of hopelessness, which was really clashing with the look of fragile hope on Dream’s face. It made him feel guilty, and a bit regretful. Not a fun time.

“Aw, Tommy,” Dream smiles, “that’s a cute dream.” 

“Is it?” Tommy frowns. “But it was all sad and shit.” 

“I just think it shows that you value our friendship. It’s sweet,” Dream says. “And, for the record, I would be sad if we weren’t friends.” 

“Course you would be. I’m awesome,” Tommy says, but he mumbles it. It’s really hard to get into a teasing mood when Dream is just so genuine all the time. 

“Well, what about you?” Dream asks. “Were you sad we weren’t friends in the dream?” 

In the dream, it had felt like the entire fucking world was ending, but all Tommy could think about in the morning was the regret of not befriending Dream. Considering he can still feel the weight in his chest now, he’d say he was pretty upset about it in the dream. 

“Eh,” Tommy says instead, shrugging. “I guess I was a bit bummed.” 

Dream snorts. “Okay, Tommy. Whatever you say.” 

Tommy huffs and crosses his arms. Whatever. He is friends with Dream, so the dream he had last night doesn’t really matter, and there’s no use dwelling on it. Like most of the dreams he has, it will probably just fade to the back of his mind eventually, even if it had stubbornly lingered all the way to this afternoon. He’ll forget about it soon enough, anyway. 

Besides, Tommy has more important things to think about, like what wood they should use when they make a new cow pen, and whether or not it'd be a bad idea to accept Tubbo's dinner invitation considering Dream's whole thing with other people.

"Tommy?" Dream calls. "You know, if the dream upset you, you can always talk about it more."

There Dream goes again, being so genuine. It's almost sickening. It's mostly really comforting, though, and soft like the sweater Dream had knit for him.

Tommy shrugs. "I'm fine," he says. "It was just a dream, anyway."

“my”

is a possessive term, denoting something, particularly an item, singularly belongs to the person speaking. you use this term a lot, especially when referring to my sister.

my l'manberg, you said. my unfinished symphony, forever unfinished. the country we grew up in, the country we share with those i consider family, is solely and singularly yours. what does that bode for me? how undistinguishable am i from my sister? l'manberg was a peaceful community, but it was your peace and your community, founded on people-centric principles that you hypocritically created on your own. my, because you wanted to hold a one-party election, where your running mate threatened to exile me from my birthplace. my, because you exploded the damn place because it didn't seem to meet your ideological standards, even if you and schlatt are two sides of the same charmful coin.

my, because no matter how dead or looked down upon you are, your fingers grip around me like a ball and chain. i am eternally connected to you via being.

“little”

is an adjective, denoting how miniscule a specific object is.

i am a mere speck, no matter where you are. you have a tendency to crouch. if not, you're on a stage that's ten feet tall, being slaughtered by grandpa as you look down on me. i see your eyes everywhere. in the tall trees that vignette my tiny cabin in the woods, in the casino that looms over my half-built shack next to the las nevadan horses.

unfavorability is a gene i did not expect to possess, because that doesn't seem like a possibility in the family. grandpa is favored by the god of death. you were resurrected to fulfill some vengeful power dynamic. meanwhile, grandma has granted me the ability to take my own life— the only one in this wasteland who has done it upon themself. how meaningless, she might have thought, when she saw me throw myself into pits of broken promises.

i am absence personified. schrodinger's fox trapped in its box. i was not invited to save tommy and tubbo when they regained the discs. i was not there when quackity concluded his quest for power. i am air, i am silence. i'm smaller than a breath, than the atoms that compose our bodies.

“champion”

defines a winner. someone who has triumphed, whether because they gained something in copious amounts, or because they've overcome a persistent struggle.

this word can only exist with the other two prefixes. little champion, because i am the breathing time in between your bigger victories. my champion, because my joys in life are not mine. they must be and always are tied to you. we celebrated our nation's independence, long ago, and i anticipated to be repaid the promises you've made. in dread, i waited, i waited, and i waited.

but the truth is, you’ve given it to me on that same day. you dream of peace, of community-shared resources. of protection, of families forever devoted to each other. that is l'manberg. it is a case of your desired triumphs, of the ideal world you fought for incessantly. but at some point, something switched— perhaps, a button— and you saw it as burdensome weight. you coughed it onto me and i collected it. that baggage, that immunity to this wasteland's cyclical violence.

you have injected upon me the parts of yourself undesirable, and thus i have become undesirability itself. i have become what the server seeks but is never seen, dragged down by the prefixes that make me invisible and an irrevocable pathway to you.

when dream stops killing, when swords are sheathed and shields tucked away, when the wasteland starts growing lilies and unwithered roses again, that is me. that should be me. they will pick those flowers up, the ones that have bloomed from my previous carcasses, smell their wonderful fragrance and think, why haven't we thought of this before?

and yet, i will smile. i will sit beside them and keep them company. if i had the capacity to be selfish, i would impart my cassandrian screams. but i'm not. instead, i will smell the same flowers with them, happy that, perhaps, their wasteland would be salvageable, even if i wasn't included in the blueprints.

It's Sbi Centric, so mostly centred around Tommy, Techno, Phil, Tubbo, Ranboo and Nikki, but I'd like to flesh out the others involvement in it.

When I first made the AU I was obsessed with c!Technoblade, so most development is on him cause he is my favourite.

I originally had a poll on reddit about some of the types they'd be, and a lot of people thought Techno would be a firebender or earthbender, until I brought up Bloodbending as a part of Waterbending (Blood for the Blood God!).

It's not only the boodbending though, considering waterbending is the most versatile bending technique and probably has the most potential for someone who's creative and willing to abuse every use of a mechanic, which Technoblade is 100% going to do. The ability to create weapons out of Ice is something I have for him, as well as potions existing in this universe (basically liquid drugs absorbed through the skin) which he carries around.

^ The current redesign, I'll probably make a more detailed post when I finish it.

I had an idea that he'd have Albinism in this Au, making his eyes red instead of blue (which'll tie into his backstory) and he wears the Boar head not just for intimidation and the pig motif, but cause it kinda also works as a hat and sunglasses combo to protect his eyes and skin from the sunlight.

Phil Is definitely an Airbender due to his partiality to flying, and the crow motifs. people were pretty much in agreement about that.

He's an old friend of Techno's, and the only person he trusts. Originally I had his design as kinda silly with a missive broad-brimmed hat, that worked like a parachute. But I decided to replace that with (probably black) glider like wings, made of solid, light wood or metal poles and fabric.

He has his own backstory stuff, which is why he wears his typical green (earth kingdom clothing) instead of airbender colours, cause he is no longer affiliated with his homeland and uses more local garb. Him and Techno both travel around a lot between kingdoms, but not always together.

Tommy I've had a hard time deciding on, I considered airbender because of his more energetic nature, and in Origins smp he is an Avian and vegetarian, but he really wouldn't fit in with airbenders in universe, which i could tie into the plot similarly to Phil. I initially wanted him to be a firebender, which is still a strong contender.

^ The first design I did for the au in 2021, which used to be set in the dsmp universe i think, or at least had his clothes from there.

I also considered him being the Avatar, considering tommy takes on the protagonist role a lot. if he were then Techno, phil and tubbo could have been his element teachers, but I don't think I'll go with that anymore as it just doesn't feel right.

A few people seem to be inclined towards him being a nonbender in the poll from yesterday, which I think is an idea I could explore.

Wilbur I'd originally had as a nonbender, tho a lot of people liked the idea of firebender, but I thought a nonbender thief and conman who relied on charisma and manipulation instead of bending. He took Tommy under his wing as a pickpocket and scammer, which leads into Tommy's plot. (I still don't know whether to include Wilbur in this au, cause I don't like the CC anymore, but the character could be seperated from him, I just feel weird about it.)

Tommy's introduction was going to be that him and Techno met (and subsequently Philza) after tommy was bold enough to steal from Techno, who caught him but decided to spare him.

Tubbo is definitely an Earthbender, it just makes sense to his personality and everything. I feel like it could also tie into redstone, with that being a kind of rock and exists in this Au, similar to how Potions exist. (In the same vein I think Sam would be an earthbender, and Sam and Eret and both big builders so I think Earthbending suits that cause its the best for construction)

Nikki I think I've decided is a Firebender if we're going off her Dsmp plot, she initially was seen as a harmless weak bender who used it for baking, but she actually is quite skilled (Which Techno and Phil recognise later and ask her to join them) and has a more violent side, like burning down the L'mantree and hunting down tommy (which likely doesn't happen in this AU, but will have equivalents or aspects of that part of her character). I also considered waterbending if we took it from her Origins smp character, who is a mermaid, but I feel like theres less potential for lore there.

Ranboo I have no idea. my first thought was a waterbender who's afraid of water, but I'm not sure. Or half Earthbender/firebender cause of his eyes. It could be that he doesn't know due to his amnesia. I also considered Avatar for him, which fits his character imo, and is discovered later after befriending tubbo and tommy, and them + techno, phil and nikki could teach him their elements. But I haven't really gotten onto him yet and will probably make a poll for him soon.

I may add more but I think I'll leave it here for now, I hope that answered any questions and feel free to ask more! It helps me think about and flesh out the different aspects of the world :)

Hey guys is now a good time to tell you I’m working on a 3-part series of qTubbo-centric fics that are a) half a character study, b) mostly canon compliant with some divergence around Purg 2 for ✨reasons✨, and c) focused heavily on family themes and Tubbo’s many issues?

i do think oh so frequently about the dsmp fandom's response to c!Tommy's trauma, but it just works so well as an exaggerated example of what happens in other fandoms. like. the idea was that he was villianised by fans for turning angry and mean after being abused, which was seen as an inherent flaw rather than a trauma response, right? because it didn't fit into the way fictional abuse victims are treated like objects of pity in fandoms.

and a lot of ppl thought this was happening bc people who turn bitter and angry and lash out due to trauma are never represented in media, but... they are. lol. i can name like 3 off the top of my head, one of them being from a show made in the 70s-80s. it's just that they either got the same treatment on a smaller scale (because the DSMP fan culture was essentially a 10-year fandom compressed into a year or 2), or they just. ignore it. they pretend that they were the "perfect victim" all along, mischaracterise them in the popular fanon, turn their anger issues into a palettable sort of anxiety disorder, morph their PTSD symptoms into something sympathetic rather than what they find to be too mean or scary.

they'll insist that they're misunderstood, but what they mean is that their actions "weren't that bad" or "were perfectly justified". there's no middle ground lmao bc they can't accept that the sympathetic traumatised character could have done bad things due to said trauma without their victim deserving it. c!Tubbo didn't deserve to be told that he was worth less than the discs, but c!Tommy is not an irredeemable monster, nor was he justified in saying that. Zuko was a 16-year-old boy living in the shame caused by his abuse, and he was absolutely horrible to his crew, burned down suki's village, and constantly turned on people who were only kind to him. like this feels like such a stupid thing to type, that people can do awful things that you don't need to justify but you also don't have to hate them forever. like.

ik this felt like a DSMP-centric issue bc it was a lot of ppl's babys-first-fandom (both the ppl defending and condemning ctommy, though more of the latter), but isn't it obvious how people were filled with sympathy for Hawkeye and disdain for BJ? how this has always been a problem?

Fighting the Chayanne fickin urge to write death family fanfic. BUT I CANT. I just finished writing a fanfic with Mumza and Tubbo (its on my ao3 and its angst). Anyways, my dumbass started writing another C!Tubbo centric fic- speaking of which since I started writing it, its basically just small snippets that take place during different days, weeks, months, in the dsmp and Tubbo's life after losing Ranboo. The main plot point tho is members of QSMP start moving to DSMP (CROSSOVER EPISODE, but is it rlly a crossover if I already have other mcyts in there-?) and it turns a bit into frubbo centric but with angst cuz at some point Ran's gonna figure out his husbands got a new man. I can SMELL the angst m cooking up in my brain!!! >_<

my friend @bluestrawberrys and I recently watched treasure planet together! and we got to thinking....... we kinda just word vomited into a google doc so hopefully this makes sense to anyone but us....

we messed with the plot a bit to fit the c!characters a little better because we wanted to. we do what we what, but the general plot is the same eehehe.... characters below

Tommy is in orphanage run by Puffy, Tubbo is another orphan there whose Tommy’s best friend. Quackity is second mate which is totally a thing. Techno is nicer to Tommy than silver is to jim but not by much. Techno is still a cyborg but his alien race is piglin (obviously) which are notoriously attracted to gold and treasure. 

Phil and Kristin are both elytrians with black wings, elytrians are extremely rare due to being hunted for wings several decades ago. It’s what they start to bond over on the ship. Kristin’s surname is Craft, Phil takes it when they get married.

Tommy is also elytrian, his wings are brown and white with ‘freckles’, they’re like hawk wings and are small which makes him faster. He also has bird tail for agility.

Phil is an old friend of puffy and started visiting the orphanage on occasion to help out but he kept going back regularly for Tommy. He wants to adopt him one day, the reason he comes on the ship is to protect Tommy.

Wanted to talk a little bit about my fic "If I could Do it again"

It takes place before Wilbur is revived but after Tommy dies

Its about bench trio time travelling to Manburg era, so they get different names ( Theseus and Toby, Ranboo stays the same) but if you notice, I have them calling each other by their "real" names at points, this is on purpose! at first its them slipping up, then later on they only call each other their original names during heavily emotional moments

Ponk wasnt supposed to become the main villain, he was only supposed to be there for one chapter, but he somehow became this way

I feel like I cant write Ranboo that well because his dsmp self and irl self are very different, so I have no clue how to write them

There are some moments mentioned that aren't canon, because Ive just been thinking about them and want to include them some how

I wasn't planning to write c!Wilbur out, I just saw a perfect opportunity for it and I did

Honestly, in my main au (which is just what I just believe in in general) c!Dream doesn't became fully irredeemable until after he gets the revival book, something about power corrupting him or him reading it corrupts his brain

What happened to the old timeline (Where Bench trio teleported from, the canon time line basically) is that it was destroyed by the Egg, and when it was getting destroyed Karl opened a time portal and time travelled to the last time period he travelled to, which just happens to be back in the manburg era (because thats where he sent c!tommy, and ranboo and tubbo followed him)

🎵WHERE THE SKIES END by Starset

Each space had its time and place, many combinations of conversations happened as they moved through their histories. Wilbur, Fundy, Tommy, Tubbo and Eret stood inside the Final Control Room as they exchanged apologies, the walls of death changing to mean one of reunions even moons later. Father and son eventually discussed their problems, turning into a family discussion when they moved to Wilbur’s Control Room.

Every place they stopped inspired the spark of forgiveness, from tiny to years old wounds, many things were talked about on this tour.

Tommy and Sam took a moment alone inside the copy of the prison cell the teen died in, coming out looking on much better terms. No more glances were traded between the pair, a tentative peace that would only grow stronger with the right sort of nurturing. 

A private moment happened between Ruler and shark totem when they approached the Egg, the Ruler gave themself the grace of the words the shark had told them time and time again, it was time to let go of the regret.

Each exhibit passed in much the same fashion, the people most affected discussing their experiences and talking about thoughts they held for years. When they stood in front of the desk once more, the tour completed, tension no longer crackled in the air.

Comradery had been forged among these broken soldiers who stood before them, each put through their own personal hells in their time spent here. The Ruler felt the lightest they had in years seeing the fire ignited in so many souls once more. 

This is what stories were supposed to do, to bring others together to listen to others words. To share wisdom and morals, to learn from what happened in the past and move forward into the future. Looking at each face gathered, Eret draws comfort that even through it all, they had said yes to coming today.
