#i know the boss is a difficult character to pin down but i feel like she's underrepresented? undercharacterized?#by both the game and the fandom #part of that is intentional by kojima #but i think she deserves to be talked about as a tragic character outside of “snake had to kill her how sad”#the tragedy is not that snake had to kill her #(yes this is sad for him and gives rise to the entire game series)#the tragedy is that she was ready and willing to accept death bc the war machine had already taken everything from her #she was a shell of herself by snake eater. and i wish THAT was explored more #e.g. the martyr figure that the rest of the cast continued to look up to and aspire to for the rest of the series?#that image or that icon if you will was created by the philosophers. it all connects. don't fall for philosopher propaganda lol #txt #mgs #THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON ANY ARTISTS

i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.

i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

mildly entertaining pjo fandom curse (mostly in that you can make games out of it):

everybody draws Piper showing skin. half the time Shel as well. literally almost EVERYBODY. go look at Piper fanart. is she wearing a crop top? i bet she is. or if she's wearing a dress hers is gonna be one of the most revealing. bonus points if they gave her a belly button piercing. and it's almost always only Piper and/or Shel. i thought we had a whole discussion about sexualizing young indigenous girls back in like 2021 but i guess nobody processed that part cause pjo fandom acts like if they dont have Piper show her stomach or have her shirt ride up they'll die.

the curse is that you will never unsee this. have fun with that.
