Welp finished reading "who made me a princess" and man, when i started reading i thought "eh its a bit long i might stop at the 40 chapter or so" then i got to chapter 50 or so thinking "ok i think i kinda get where is going i will stop in a few chapters"... so yeah the 125 chapter were really good is what im saying
it is pretty much a slow burn and some stuff can get repetive but man the art and the story are really good, specially since it really trows you for a loop with some redhairings or unexpected twist
also they are making an anime of it? part of me feels sad that i didnt know this series before knowing that cause in all probably i wont like the anime as much as the manwa, non the less i will watch it i dont expect to give me the same reaction as when i started reading this manga but it looks fairly good so hopefully people like it when it comes out, and well if i like it too welp that a double win lol
#txtalk#also it seems the anime hasnt had a confim date outside it was gonna be relase this year#considering we are at 4 months before the year ends (jesus crist i just relise that) i wonder if it might get delay#still dont wanna sound like an ass about it i really do hope the anime makes people know about this series#with all honesty it really comes out like is gonna be very generic so hopefully it finds its audience#speaking of which for what i read it seems its also popular in japan so there are some rumors i read around of a japanese dub#im normaly not a dub guy but im really courious about it as i personaly favor the japanese dubs over chinise#mosty cause i personaly enjoy japanese voice acting more tho it might just be my personal buyest

THE BIBLE THE BOOK OF GOD
Leviticus
Chapter 25
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. 3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; 4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. 5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. 6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee, 7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat. 8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. 9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. 10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. 12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. 13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession. 14 And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another: 15 According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee: 16 According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee. 17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the LORD your God. 18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. 19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. 20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. 22 And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store. 23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. 24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land. 25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold. 26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it; 27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession. 28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession. 29 And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it. 30 And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.
31 But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile. 32 Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time. 33 And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel. 34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession. 35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee. 36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee. 37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase. 38 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God. 39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant: 40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile:
41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return. 42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen. 43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God. 44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. 45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. 46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour. 47 And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family: 48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him: 49 Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself. 50 And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.
51 If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for. 52 And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption. 53 And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight. 54 And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him. 55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

The Bible Old Testament
Ruth
Chapter 4
1 Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. 2 And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. 3 And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's: 4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. 5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. 6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. 7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel. 8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. 9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi. 10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.
11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem: 12 And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman. 13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. 14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. 15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. 16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. 17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. 18 Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron, 19 And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab, 20 And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon, 21 And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, 22 And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.

Rules Of One's Soul Ch13 A Little Offer P3
Things were going well for the most part- Another round of coughing shook his entire being as his lungs heaved and burnt from the inhale of dust that came from the old couch with each strike he gave it with the broom. Followed by more sneezing and coughing, he really should've brought something to cover his mouth to protect himself. Who knows what was on there other than dust and lots of cathair.
The chuckling behind him wasn't helping his mood either. He gave a glare over his shoulder behind him at the smiling tall cat, who looked nothing but amused at the Duke's struggling.
Seam pointed a paw at the settling cloud of dust before asking," That's the second piece of furniture you're seem to have a problem with. Are you sure I can't just lend a hand in that? "
"Nay! You've helped quite enough." He turned back to the old couch and raised the broom back over his head. It came down onto the couch with a thump sound and a smaller amount of dust than the first hundred wacks it or the old armchair received.
Seam chuckled again at the worm from the armchair. He had to admit, when Rouxls set his mind on something, he was determined to get it done the first time round. He absolutely refused any help offered except for when Seam offered to teleport some of the more larger and dirtier pieces of furniture outside so Rouxls didnt have to worry over trying to manhandle them himself out the door. But down right refused any help with the dusting or polishing of any of them. Seam rose a brow at the thought. Rouxls still thumping away at the couch. Did the Duke always behaved like this or was it only when he wanted something done and over with? Jevil had spoken of Rouxls's more...eccentric and stressful side. Came with being the Royal Duke to three kings and father of one he guessed, but he only caught a glimpse of that side through how stubborn the worm man was and when he was violently digging in the ground. Eck! The mere thought of eating insects made him gag. How could one even do that was beyond him, but that of course wasn't any of his business. What was his business was winning this little game of Jevil's. He usually didn't care for games much, but what was one last game between old friends?
A grunt of approval brought him out of his train of thought and back to Rouxls, who was giving the couch a satisfied look, but then looked down to himself and grimaced at the sight of dust covering his body and the amount of dust covering the black dirt at his feet.
"You've been at this for almost the entire day now. Why not take a break? You look like you could use a cup of tea for your troubles."
Rouxls answer was to huff and proudly not give into the temptation of a small break. "NAY! Unlike thou-" He turned around with the broom slung over one shoulder and his free hand on his hip. "-I haveth nay time to lounge about and waitest for thine next darkner with bits to buyest."
"Actually things have been rather quiet lately." A paw scratched his face. "Hmm. I guess it has something to do with this ball Jevil has been speaking of." Rouxls rolled his eyes with a groan at the mention of it to which Seam caught. "I take it you aren't one for holidays?"
"Holidays are fine. It's thee lunatics that comest with it them."
"Oh? Jevil may have some wild habits, but as long as he doesn't drink hell be perfectly fine."
"That tis not what worries me."
Before Seam could ask what he meant the worm walked off towards the entrace to the Sheap dusting himself along the way. Seam watched after him for a moment before getting up to follow the man. Rouxls had done a quick and great job of the sheap's inside.Seemed nothing escaped the worm's cleanful wrath. He had to admit he was impressed at his energy, he couldn't remember the last time his shop had been this spotless. The flap of the sheap flopped open and he poked his head inside just as Rouxls was picking up the things he brought with him.
"Oh. Are you leaving now? "
"I amst moving mine things so I may leaveth when Im finished with thine last few bits before that Jevil comeths back."
"Oh. I see.....May I ask a question if you don't mind of course?"
"What tis it? I can't spareth much time."
"Why do you not like Jevil?"
Rouxls froze. Completely stopping what he was doing. Seam just stood there and waited for an answer, after a while he tilted his head in curiousity at the worm's sudden mimicking of a statue. Eventually he slightly tilted his head towards him and pushed out a question of his own in a whisper.
"W-...And w-why do you w-wantest to know?"
To that Seam just shrugged. "Just curious. Its none of my business, but the way you see him and the way he sees you seems to be very different. He really fell head over tails for you. Hehe."
More silence filled the room as the two still stared at each other but Rouxls quickly turned his attention back to his things quickly picking everything back up. Seam curiously hummed to himself. It certainly seemed the duke wasn't as attached to Jevil as the imp was to him, but a soulmate was a soul mate so..What exactly was the problem? Knowing the answer to that question would help him move one step closer to the checkmate.
"Do you really hate him that much-?"
"I don't hate him."
He hummed at Rouxls's answer as the worm still didn't look at him. "Well then why not give him more of a chance? Is there something you don't like about him?"
He turned to the cat with a suspicious glance. "Thou art asking alot of questions."
He shrugged again. "You can't really blame me from what I've seen. It's all very peculiar if you ask me."
The worm sighed. " Tis not him. Mine own personal feelings art a puzzle yet unsolved."
"Hehe. So they are what Jevil calls a chaotic mess."
And for once the worm chuckled. His laugh was...nice. A soft warm chuckle that he didn't know could actually come from the stuck up duke. Seam could feel his soul throb a couple times at the smiling chuckling face of the worm man. The few strands of sparkling white hair clinging to his tired face. He turned back to the cat who's eye had slightly widened from the warm sight, a small smile on his face.
"I supposeth do....Why doth thou likest him?"
He shrugged yet again. "Jevil was always a wild card and handful. But I've never met a more happier person. And he makes everyone laugh."
"Thine jester does entertain easily," Rouxls admitted.
"Which reminds me. Why did you say you dreaded him on the holidays?," Seam asked pointing out the previous event. Rouxls suddenly got a look of almost shock over before groaning and reaching a hand up to rub his face. "I take it you've seen him drunk?"
"Nay...Im expecting him to asketh mineself to thine ball."
Seams ears perked up. "You don't sound very excited about that?"
"I just....*sigh* I amst planning on taking careth of Lancer once I gettest back. And knowing how closeth that imp likest to get..." He shivered. "I amst nay ready for such physical activities."
" Oh. I see.....Then it'll be quite the trouble to keep both Jevil and the prince-..er...Young king in check."
"Not to mention someone hast to makest sure nothing goes wrong."
"I see."
Another moment of silence passed as Rouxls continued to pick up his things and Seam watched with a thoughtful expression.
"....I suppose you'll be very busy there."
Rouxls sighed. "Most definitely."
"And... IF you had some help to watch out for Jevil's shenanigans?"
He gave a dry chuckle. "That wouldst best very helpful, but who in thou's rightest mind wouldst offer to wrangle the likes of Jevil?"
Seam's smile became a tad bit wider as he casuslly answered. "Well....I don't suupose you'd be willing to finally accept my offer to help finally?"
Rouxls had to stop and do a double take at the smiling cat. He could see the wheels turning in his head as he processed what the cat had said. "Art thou...seriously offering to keepest him away from mineself?"
"Well I can't promise that. But I can promise to help keep an eye on him while you do other things. You can just bring me as a guest and Ill see yo myself." He smiled as he watched the worm process the offer in his head before smiling back at Seam.
"I thinkest that couldst be arranged."
"Hahaha. Then a party awaits this old cat yet again." He turned his attention to the gathered up things in his arms. "Are you finished using those already?"
Rouxls shook his head. "No. I merely have that strange hole in thine wall and fireplace to sortest out."
"Ah. I see. Then I won't stand in your way."
He smiled wider. "Thank thee. No if thou'll excuseth me-" He picked the buckle of things up into his arms. "I preferest to finish and leave."
"Of course."
The smiling duke turned to the back room of the Sheap and made his way to the back to what Seam presumed to finish what ever he had left. The old cat chuckled to himself and turned back to the exit. He supposed he should move those shelves and chairs back inside in case it rained again- A loud high pitched shriek made him jump and his fur bristle up startled. The scream was followed by a crashing noise and a stream of loud giggling.
".....Oh no."

one of his brethren may redeem him: 49 Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.
What is your Favorite verse(s):
39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant: 40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile.
Explain in your own words what you just read.
These laws were given in faith. Israel was still in the wilderness, and not yet in the Promised Land. Additionally, as far as Moses and the people knew, they were only a matter of months from entering in.
Commitment / what will i do : I will coninue to truly trust God always

to be honest, i know most people wanted a remake of gen 5 or a lets go of gen 2 (for some inexplicable reason)
but like come on you can not lie there is something really funny about pokemon announcing (essencially) pokemon z after more or less 10 years after x and y got out
#txtalk#also yes im increbly buyest cause my first 3ds game was pokemon x and y#(i got the game when pokemon alpha ruby and omega saphire was out cause it was on discaunt)#but gen 6 is pretty much a forgeten gen by game freak so its nice to have it not as a remake but as new arceus game#plus with megas and all the possible unexplore lore that there is#i feel like this COULD (im gonna streach that far) game that might get people to appreaciate some of aspects of gen 6

1 Now Boaz went up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the near kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. 2 And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. 3 And he said unto the near kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth the parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s: 4 and I thought to disclose it unto thee, saying, Buy it before them that sit here, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know; for there is none to redeem it besides thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. 5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. 6 And the near kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: take thou my right of redemption on thee; for I cannot redeem it.
7 Now this was the custom in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning exchanging, to confirm all things: a man drew off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbor; and this was the manner of attestation in Israel. 8 So the near kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thyself. And he drew off his shoe. 9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi. Jehovah make the woman that is come into thy house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephrathah, and be famous in Beth-lehem: 12 and let thy house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which Jehovah shall give thee of this young woman.
13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife; and he went in unto her, and Jehovah gave her conception, and she bare a son. 14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be Jehovah, who hath not left thee this day without a near kinsman; and let his name be famous in Israel. 15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of life, and a nourisher of thine old age, for thy daughter-in-law, who loveth thee, who is better to thee than seven sons, hath borne him. 16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. 17 And the women her neighbors gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.
18 Now these are the generations of Perez: Perez begat Hezron, 19 and Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab, 20 and Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon, 21 and Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, 22 and Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David. — Ruth 4 | American Standard Version (ASV) The American Standard Version Bible is in the public domain. The Burning Bush
On a sunny Easter Sunday, in the early evening, I was strolling from the raiway station towards my uncle’s house to attend a family gathering, when, suddenly:
The Burning Bush: I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the train station, out of the house of pickpockets.
Moi: Yadayadayada, hello there, long time no see… 5 years is it ? I almost missed you … Not!
The Burning Bush: Oh ye of little faith, i really don’t know what to do with…
Moi: But wait, you are not burning! what kind of Burning Bush are you? This is so lame!
The Burning Bush: What, I expected a thumbs up for it! I no longer burn to avoid emitting greenhouse gases. I heard about this global warming thing and looming end of the world and I want to do whatever I can to avoid it.
Moi: This is really nice of you. But, there is something fishy, what are you up to?
The Burning Bush: Well, you got me… The point is: I, the Almighty God, thy Lord, am the One who will end the World. This is my plan! I cannot let my creatures end the World on their own! Who do they think they are? I will end the World when I please following the protocol: four horsemen of the Apocalypse and all…
Moi: I knew it. Well then, can’t you do do more about it though? Do you think that just you not burning will have any effect?
The Burning Bush: Honestly, I am really tempted to destroy all humans right now, let my wrath deal with their arrogance, now that thou makest me think about it, starting with thou!
Moi: Oh oh ,cool, chill man, sorry, God! Shall we change the topic? Why did you appear to me today anyway?
The Burning Bush: I have a portentous message for thou, but for thou alone, for thy own salvation!
Moi: I’m all ears. Shoot!
The Burning Bush: What is the number of the house, the fence of which I grace with my Burning Bush?
Moi: 117, God!
The Burning Bush: My prophecy for thy salvation is this: if thou buyest a lottery ticket with 117 among the numbers, thou shalst win the lottery. This shall end thy tribulations on this earth, and be your salvation.
Moi: But Lord, you cannot play numbers higher than 99 at the lottery. How can I buy a lottery ticket with 117 and gain my salvation?
The Burning Bush: But why cannesth thou?
Moi: My God, it is one of your own commandments you gave to Moses! “Thou shalst not use three-digit numbers for the lottery and thou shalst only use two-digit numbers, of which said numbers, six the number shall be on the ticket.”
The Burning Bush: Oh right, that was such a long time ago. I had forgotten all about these commandments. Now I remember. I had first said: Thou shalst not play the lottery. Moses had complained, this was a bit too much, let us have a bit of fun! Why not just pretend that winning the lottery should be a sign of your good favor, of your grace, oh my Lord?
I relented. Fine, I said, but let’s set some limits and restrictions. Why not limit lottery numbers to say three digits? Three is a sacred number… Moses said, but Lord, you created humans with arms that are only two cubits long… How can you expect us to be able to draw lots in a jar deep enough to contain a thousand balls with two cubit-long arms? Alright I said, good point. Two digits then, so that was that!
Moi: So, can’t you do anything about it? In this digital age?
The Burning Bush: Sorry my son, traditions, thou knowesth… Well, if thou haddest met me ten houses down, thy salvation on this Earth would have been guaranteed, although thou dothest not deserve it. All in all, I would say this is cosmic, no, divine justice!
Moi: I say this sucks. You haven’t changed a bit. I bet you did it on purpose to tempt me. Hold on there, are you really the Burning Bush, or Satan sent by God to tempt me and tempt my faith in him with this predicament ? Is this why you are not burning?
Satan: God had told me you were smart. Let’s drop the thou-thy-est thing, shall we? I’m not as good at it as God. Well, that was fun. Are you interested in a job with me? Lots of travel and perks. I’m working on a project: create devices that humans, out of vanity, would use to take pictures of themselves all the time. I’m confident that would fill Hell very fast.
Moi: Yo, this is called smart phones and selfies, it’s been here for years. Time is not on your side. Humans can do these things to themselves too, without God or Satan, just like climate change.
Anyway, I have to go my uncle’s for dinner. So long! Let me just take a picture of you for my tumblr blog!
Satan: Just a second! Let me just brush my leaves. Left profile please… How many followers?
Moi: Almost five thousand. I bet a photo of Satan woud go viral! Right profile it will be. Or, can you let me win this lottery draw?
Satan: Damn, sorry, no can do. Please, I, Satan, beg you, left profile, pleaaase…
Moi: Right profile.

Leviticus

Poison-Wielding Fugitive Chapter 68
Slung onto Arleaf’s back is Karma Blaze and the core part glowed.
“We shall never bow to your contemptable accusations!”
Muu, agreeing with Arleaf, shows its stance on the matter by bellowing out.
“Muuuuu!”
Muu cries out with axe in hand.
“Filthy heretics… dragonslayers! What are you doing standing there?! Hurry and finish off the dragon!” “Damn it!”
My body feels incredibly sluggish… but I ready my crossbow and prepare for battle.
“Cohgray…”
Even now, Celes doesn’t seem to be convinced one way or another.
“Celes…”
But as soon as I try to speak with Celes…
‘Beware!’
Heeding Veno’s warning, I turn around to see a mage taking a preemptive strike, shooting a great ball of fire at me.
“Giga Flame Burst!”
It’s as impressive as Arleaf’s Fire Bullet. But wait. I can’t intercept that with my bolts!
“Aqua Shot!”
Arleaf tries to counter the fireball with a magical scattershot of water. The fire quickly boils the water into steam and cuts through it, still hurling towards us.
“Whoa!”
Somehow, we all managed to sidestep and dodge the attack.
“Cheeky brats!” “Here is some more. Fire Bat, Aqua Arowana, Wind Spider!”
Arleaf casts her spells to summon forth various animal-shaped magic: a bat of flames, a piranha of water, and a transparent arachnid wrapped in a vortex. Hey, she’s already got the hang of the spells she learned from Veno! The flaming bat dances and releases sparks near Arleaf, creating a fantastical spectacle.
“I will not hold back.” “What strange magic…! But say goodbye to your beastly friends!”
Arleaf and the priest stare down each other. Then, the priest and his subordinates ready another spell.
“Good priest!”
The tip of Celes’ blade clanks against the ground as she directs her rage against the priest.
“This is a battle between Cohgray and me! You shall not interrupt us!” “The dragon is right before you! Why do you embrace such sentiment towards him?!” “As I have said, we will have a duel! Even if Cohgray were to be a dragon, I am… a warrior devoted to the Teachings and we shall have an honorable fight! Now you will cease your folly!” “Hmpf…”
It seems like there is something in her religion which forbids the priest butting in.
“The rest of you stand down as well! … we will have a dignified duel!”
The other dragonslayers do as Celes said and quietly stand by, albeit with uncertainty and worry.
“Arleaf, Muu.” ‘Buyest time for there is room for more discussion… then we shall execute our escape plan.’
I look at Celes, hoping that she would calm down and assess the situation. … but she raises her sword at me. Wha—?! I instinctively take a leap backwards. As soon as I move out of the way, I see Celes sword exactly where I was already.
“Celes!” “Cohgray! Are you truly a dragon?!” “… do you think anyone would answer with ‘yes’?”
Had I said so, I’m sure they would all instantly strike me down. Even if I were to be completely possessed by Veno, I still wouldn’t be answering with a yes.
“Right you are. Thus, I have a proposition.”
Celes rapidly approaches me to speak with me. Damn, I’m not nearly strong enough to get away from her! I don’t have the slightest idea what level I would need to be able to fight her head on. I take a single bolt out of my crossbow, enchant it with poison, and stab myself on the arm.
Maybe it’s because we’ve leveled up, the toxins in Arleaf’s Poison Cooking have been more potent than ever. Lately, I’ve been using a blend of that and Slow Poison. My diminished abilities bounce back up in an instant. With this, at least I should be able to match Celes’ movements.
“Tell me about it.” “Cohgray, I shall take responsibility to protect you whilst you are under arrest. Then, we shall properly test with magic whether you truly are a dragon or not.”
Oh, so she doesn’t really believe in that light spell the priest casted. Honestly, I would love for Celes to give me a fair trial… well, no, I’d love that I didn’t get tried at all.
“You know I deeply respect you, Celes, and I cannot express how grateful I am to hear that you would give me the chance to prove my innocence. However, unfortunately, I must decline.” “Why must you?!”
Celes, though still hesitating, violently and swiftly thrusts her sword at my torso. I’m sure she’d KO me instantly if I got hit by that. But if she’s only this quick, then not all hope is lost! Poison Cooking is stronger than you think! I nimbly jump sideways and out of the trajectory of her sword while firing a few shots with my crossbow. The trigger is light and crisp. The recoil is a little strong, but fortunately, Celes wasn’t expecting my shots.
“Do you still not get it?”
I mean, of course I can’t tell her I actually have a dragon within me. But I have a great excuse for the situation they’ve thrown me in.
“Surely, you understand, Celes. Even if you believe me, the others won’t. They think I’m the culprit. They’ve had it in for me since the beginning. Not to mention, they can decide everything behind your back.” “…”
I know Celes is smart enough to understand that.
“But I have people I can depend on to ascertain the truth. Hence which is why, Cohgray, that I must capture you!”
I feel that Celes is trying to keep the dialogue up so that she can prove my innocence. Yeah. I’m sure she’s able to kill me, but she’s not sure if she wants to. I can tell she’s trying to drag this out as well.
‘… if I am able to protect thee from their interrogative magics, then it would not be so bad to let them take thee.’
That sounds… really unlikely that it’d end well for me. If you think about why they want me, it’s not for any crimes against humanity like what I had supposedly done at Nisua. It’s probably because they know that I can undo the modified Dragonfall’s Charge. I’ve been incredibly inconvenient to the puppeteer behind the scenes. It doesn’t matter whether they find me innocent or not.
‘Aye, certainly. However, thou believest that this dragonslayer is trustworthy, no?’
I did. But they’ll probably find a way to assassinate her too. They’ll say that she’s fallen victim to the dragon or something like that.
It might be better that we find out who’s pulling the strings first. It’d be great if we can do something like capture the priest and make him confess the truth… but I don’t think we have a chance with so many Celes-level adventurers around him. If only you could make a truth serum to get him to talk.
‘Hahaha… that would not be such a bad idea. It is not something that I would normally enjoy, but I am beginning to feel less guilty to make them suffer.’
