You know, if Spider Punk gets people interested in punk, good. We all have to start somewhere and Hobie is a damn good representation. If he is what makes a person go “hey, this seems cool, I should check it out.” good. That’s one more person interested in punk and wanting to get into it.
That being said, if you are new to punk(hi baby punks!) some things to keep in mind
1. Punk philosophy is largely anti-authoritarian. Individual and even punk communities differ on specifics, and some are more political than others, but the core themes tend to be resisting those who would control and oppress us, and supporting and including people in your community
2. Punk fashion SHOULD NOT BE EXPENSIVE. A lot of fashion companies will try and sell you jackets for a couple hundred bucks, but that’s just corporations trying to cash in on a subculture. A big part of Punk and its history is DIY because Punk should be open to everyone and putting that behind a fashion paywall is just not punk. You don’t even need to be dressing punk to BE punk, but thrift your clothes. Make stencils and use spray paint or bleach to give it a pattern. Use old jeans to make patches. Buy your spikes and studs in bulk and go wild. Turn your old t shirt that doesn't fit anymore into a back patch. Go crazy with some safety pins. You can make more with $30 than you can buy from a designer for $300. And skill is not needed, frankly if it looks a little wonky it makes it look more punk
3. Dental floss makes for good thread for sewing on patches. It’s good for thick, stylistic stitches and is both cheap and durable. Don’t know why I made this its own point but it’s one of the most common tricks for punk DIY besides taking paint to scraps of fabric to make a patch. Honestly, if you want to know how to do more, just ask other punks how they made their vests and jackets, they’ll probably be happy enough to tell you
4. Punk philosophy and music is closely related. The communities evolved around the music scene so it is closely linked. Give some punk bands a try if you haven't already. There’s a bunch of subgenres so you’ll probably find something you like. From OG “proto punk” where the sound was still developing into what we call punk, to pop punk, anarco punk, and folk punk. There are people who say you can’t be punk if you don’t listen to the music, and there’s a whole conversation to be had about all that, but it’s just a good idea to try listening to some punk music
5, Nazis fuck off
6. Seriously, nazis fuck off. There’s a whole history behind it and why we associate skinhead punks with neo nazis. Largely we’ve made it clear we don’t want nazis in our community and the street punk music scene that nazi punks became associated with has made strides to separate themselves from that.
7. Be cool and respectful of people regardless of religion, ethnicity, race, sexuality, gender, background, etc. Solidarity with our community is important and all sorts are welcome. Gatekeeping isn’t cool and frankly women and minorities have done a lot for punk as a whole. Respect for everyone

Hobie Brown x Artistic/DIY Reader
I love him 💙
pt 1 - Pt 2 - Pt 3 - Pt 4
Warnings: maybe spoilers for ATSV, IDK. Reader's in the punk scene and from Hobie's universe. Whole lotta projection. Canon-typical injuries
Features info dumping and personal Hobie HCs I guess. It's long ASF. And just self indulgent
Please RB, likes alone don't do anything for the algorithm!
-----
DIY/punk Hobie Brown
If you're in the scene, you know the basics
Patches?
Hand-Stitched
Usually with dental floss for durability/cost efficiency
And originally painted with white-out for the same reasons
Spikes or studs?
Cheap, bulk buy, screw em on yourself
Or just make em out of cans
Hobie's fit looks like it fits the bill
Old leather or denim jacket with the sleeves cut off
FN/SM painted on the back
Shirt's kinda tattered iirc
Spiked collars are easy
Same with the wristbands
When he meets you?
Whoo boy
It was one of his shows he was putting on
New songs, new faces in the crowd
He spots you from a distance at first
Little sketchbook in hand
You stay through his whole performance
When he's chatting up the crowd afterwards, though?
You're already gone
(Bitch writes a song about the pretty thing watching from afar, bc ofc he does)
He next sees you during one of President Osborne's speeches
Standing in the front row of a gathered crowd, shaking your head at the screen
He drops down after a few minutes, hanging upside down and blocking the less-than-pleasant view
He takes a few moments between questions from others
Little explanations
A promise to do what he can
Takes just a glimpse to look you over
You have a similar touch to the rest of the crowd
Worn out boots, tattered clothes, hand-sewn and painted patches
And your sketchbook still in hand
It's a little peculiar for the crowd
But he doesn't question it
What he does question is where you've gone after he turns to look at you
He only took a second for more reassurances
But when he goes to see you again
You're gone, just like the first time you caught his eye
He realizes then
That he's intrigued
He doesn't know what it is about you
Until he keeps seeing you pop up again
Riots
Concerts
Shows
Speeches
His immaterial object of interest
He finally starts actually talking to you the third or fourth time he sees you
At another of Osborne's liefests
An ambassador on a stage, surrounded by punks
Speaking of the President's virtues
Yeah
Spider-Punk shows up pretty quickly to run him off
And gets to chatting with you
When he first approaches, you ask for his opinion on a patch idea
And turn your sketchbook to show him the page
His spider symbol backpiece
But instead of FN/SM, it simply states
"Down With President Osborne"
He takes your pen and signs as a seal of approval before swinging away
Sure, it was a short interaction
But it led to even more meaningful ones
Like, say..
Him practically dropping out of the sky into a park
You were just minding your business, sketching the scenery
When he almost fell on top of you.
Covered in injuries
He laughs when he looks up and sees that it's you
Because of course it's you
Tries to resist when you start futzing over him
If you're the parent friend like me?
Patch him up
PLEASE
Even if you can't see him back together
Just
Bandaids and gauze pads
And maybe some candy
Bc suckers help with creativity
Or it's just my neurodivergence? Idk
Just. Offer him one in case he needs to bite on something while you're putting alcohol on his injuries
When you're done he looks them over
Promptly winces when he twists his arm 🙄
But then thanks you for your help and swings off
Again
These kinds of interactions become common
He'll find you hanging around the city
Either doodling or just vibing
And drops down to talk for a bit
Or get patched up
Loves when you offer to fix his costume
Bc it looks just as nice & homemade as the rest of your/his fits
Grins under his mask when he sees a new patch or two
And starts snickering if you deny their application
He really appreciates everything you do for him
And figures he should prove it
Sure, he's saved you
But he's saved a lot of people..
He wants this to be special
Unique
And he thinks he knows how to do that..

All your settings are crazy interesting to think about and currently I've been taur-brained. sorry if you've already answered this somewhere else, but who are the ones manufacturing their clothes? Or their mane and hoof care products, etc? Would it be humans who were already making similar stuff for normal horses, or are there some centaurs also in the business making more specialized and informed products (like shoes or horse-pants????) Surely there's an economic power imbalance in there somewhere between whoevers making the necessities and who's got to buy them.
(either way, being good at diy is probably a plus for them )
I mentioned it a little bit in the first clothing post i made but the examples given (aside from the classical dress) are all modern - basically, small tailor shops in Ironwall will bulk-order horse blankets from wholesale (usually international) retailers and modify them on-site for resale to centaurs, sometimes doing a same-day custom job for someone if they need it. this is considered kinda cheap, and not in the realm of formalwear/barely business casual. think t-shirt and jeans level stuff. but like you said, in a lot of cases centaurs would buy their own horse rugs to modify at home (basically you need longer straps that articulate at a different part of the body than stock). these specific alteration shops are usually some of the first businesses to pop up in cities/towns outside Ironwall whenever emmigrant centaurs have a decent presence, alongside herbivore food shops.
so yeah absolutely as a marker of class & a requirement for formal occasions, there is bespoke tailor-made clothing made to fit their bodies from the start and it is EXPENSIVE. especially the big classical style gowns, there's a lot of fabric there and it has to be cut well so that it doesn't entangle the legs or restrict the torso, and have enough petticoat/underskirt/etc so that there'll be no accidental flashing on a windy day. now modern commercialism/capitalism hit Ironwall in a very strange way - many centaurs remember the exact moment the first mcdonalds opened in ironwall in the 90s, as human resident % had gone up and suddenly Ironwall was a market and a consumer base.
(this one got so long that even I will concede to a readmore)
most people unable to afford the tailored stuff in the early 20th century would buy big cuts of curtain fabric and sew their own gowns for formal occasions/serving on a budget and those gowns would see use for decades. companies saw the potential to offer factory/sweatshop produced off the rack centaur fast fashion that resembled the very intricate classical gowns without any of the tailored properties/thick skirts/flexibility in the torso/etc. this is landfill junk and wears out quickly. in many cases it's a cheap human bodice/t-shirt/etc sewn to the bottom gown bit, which means there's a weak seam right at a point of great articulation, and the clothes will catch/snag in odd places because the muscles underneath are different too. in terms of the economic power imbalance - yep. it's a market but a small one, without much competition, and multinationals can easily outcompete the centaur tailors who offer services at middle or low price brackets.
and of course. there's always poverty tourism. you can buy fully bespoke, made-for-centaurs, designer... rebadged horse blankets, for the athleisure/sports-luxe fans
because centaurs as a market share are not very prominent still (that is changing tho), most of their own businesses are small and dynastic - one group running the same mane oil business since the 1700s, churning out the same basic product for a small but dedicated audience. these types of businesses rarely advertise and if they do it's by putting a tiny text-only ad into the paper with their phone number inserted. they are woefully ill-prepared to compete with external businesses turning their eye to Ironwall in search of new markets. but what they have that large multinationals don't is parochialism and loyalty to a brand, and access to a more readily exploited centaur work force. many will turn around and do a little song and dance "don't you want to support small centaur businesses? we'll go under if we have to comply with modern labour laws!"
because at the heart of centaur businesses is that old purifying work ethic, and because ironwall is 1. conservative and 2. largely self-governing, their labour laws are antiquated. they still have workhouses. and there has always been a lack of interest from the wider country's government to intervene because ehh it's the Ironwall culture to work hard, isn't it? and do we really want to insert ourselves into centaur business? humans actively seeking work in ironwall, then, make up two broad groups - those who seek to exploit these relaxed labour laws by opening a business, and those who know that 'poor' in other places is 'middle class disposable income' in Ironwall (like first worlders becoming 'expats' or 'digital nomads' in places with cheaper costs of living than their wealthy home nation - easily leading to gentrification).
Anyway so that's all the modern perspective; all of this applies for the other beastmen as well like the harpies and so on, though they have to live with the additional layer of most of their laws and products being about horses.
Historically centaur clothing was made by hand in the home, usually by the women in a social group, and made robust enough to last several generations of wear (with repairs). Because clothing would be passed down from mother to daughter, this resulted in colt bachelor bands being so fucking naked all the time. In traditional enclaves and pre-Florian settlements, a stallion who was accepted into his new herd would be gifted handmade kinetic clothing (bells, ribbons, feathers, anything that enhances the movement) by his new wives and his ability to keep his gifts looking nice would be judged for a set period of time (if you lose a bell that's bad luck buddy), after which he was supposed to return the favour by hand-carving them beautiful tail ornaments (as discussed in my historical clothing post - the ornaments would appear similar to welsh lovespoons in design)
this tradition got trampled over with the introduction of Florian's penal laws because tail ornaments could not be worn when the tail was fully covered and attempts at kinetic fashion fell flat when your nice trot is all hidden up by what's basically a giant tablecloth. but there does remain a custom of women giving men gifts to test their commitment (to heterosexuality), with the expectation that it'll be paid back with something nice and handmade. but commercialism comes for us all eventually.
finally on the topic of shoes, iron shoes are not super common anymore but in the victorian era, rope shoes were manufactured in the city to cut down on noise levels when streets were becoming full paved/cobbled.
they were not very good for the feet and required regular replacement because the rope would wear down, but that meant business for farriers was booming and became almost guaranteed when the famously and hilariously corrupt high councillors and lord protector began to pass increasingly strict anti noise pollution laws.

💀Ghost Headcannons💀
——————————
Speaks Spanish with a thick British accent on purpose because it makes Alejandro laugh.
Actually fairly fluent in Spanish due to the fact he enjoys telenovelas. He will never admit to watching them though.
Does not know how to hula hoop.
Didn’t learn how to ride a bike until his 20’s
Usually is a very light sleeper but when he is off base and feels safe he can fall into a very deep sleep. Has woken up to soap sobbing over him because he was convinced Simon was dead.
Sometimes after he has a night terror he doesn’t want to be in his room. He often chooses to sit in the 141’s private kitchen. In the dark. Unmoving. This has almost sent Price into cardiac arrest on multiple occasions.
Once bruised his tailbone after accidentally slipping in mud. Refused to tell anybody about it because he was too embarrassed. Anytime someone asked why he wasn’t sitting he’d just glare at them until they went away.
Gets major cuteness aggression. Usually resorts to biting soap to help with this. This really confused Soap the first time he did it- he also refused to explain why.
Buys his skeleton gloves in bulk. Has a deal with the manufacturer to get them cheap.
Wears skull socks inside of his combat boots.
Unironically owns bad pun shirts.
The sound of styrofoam makes his gag.
Managed to convince Soap that he didn’t believe Canadian accents were real and that Canadians were just faking it as a joke. Caved and told soap he was joking an hour later because he was concerned Johnny genuinely thought he was that stupid.
(Recanting my previous HC that ghost doesn’t know how to cook) of course ghost knows how to cook. Dude had a shit childhood and probably had to feed himself a lot of the time. He’s a good cook but rarely gets to show his talent since he doesn’t cook on base. He really enjoys baking too.
Known to eat cold beans straight from the can.
Expert at claw machines. Always gets a prize from them.
Chronic “Massive dog who thinks he’s small enough to be a lap dog” syndrome.

cas and dean vs. clothes shopping small fic
after they get cas out of the empty there’s a lot of mundane shit to do. he’s human again, and it’s permanent this time, or as permanent as things ever are for a winchester, but that’s a terrifying thought so it gets locked up in the for later box in deans head. but cas needs food and toiletries and clothes and he’s decided he hates the bedding in the bunker so he has to get new sheets too.
most of this is easy enough. last time cas was human he learned the basics—digestion, hygiene, money—and when he was sick on stolen grace he learned a bit more about preferences. they get him set up with 3-in-1 shampoo and a tooth brush and when dean makes the trip out to the city to do their monthly bulk shopping, he drags cas with him to get some sheets he won’t bitch about. on the way back, dean stops at a secondhand store run by a local church.
cas doesn’t seem to like shopping. he was pleasant on the ride to the city and effusive about the cheap hotdogs they ate for lunch, but about 20 minutes into hauling cases of water and table salt into their cart he got surly. he got even surlier when dean suggested he could go wait with baby. by the time they checked out, dean had written him off and decided to wait out his silence.
the thrift store smells like every thrift store he’s ever been in, dusty and a little bit like cats. the clothes selection isn’t huge, but it’ll do for getting cas started. thats deans hope, anyway, but when he told cas to grab whatever catches his eye and wanders off to a rack of casettes, he hoped cas would get a few days worth of shirts, maybe even find some serviceable jeans. instead, cas dumps an XL shirt with “FALLSTON COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL TURKEY TROT 2013” across the front in orange bubble text and a faded grey bucket hat into deans basket.
“that’s all?”
cas shrugs. apparently still not talking. dean knows from experience that forcing the issue right now will, at best, start a fistfight, and at worst, cause cas to fuck off for who knows how long. maybe if he was still an angel dean would go for it, press his luck, but with cas freshly back and freshly human and apparently here to stay, dean swallows the impulse. he buys the admittedly very soft turkey trot shirt and the hat.
after two weeks, it becomes apparent that cas is uninterested in obtaining possessions. he’s content to wear his wholesale underwear and deans shirts and a pair of shorts abandoned by one of the apocalypse world hunters. there are infinite good things about cas coming back, and there are infinite terrifying things about him being human now, and there are infinite things about his return that dean has been trying to stuff in the For Later box, and unfortunately that leaves him kind of pissed off about how he can never find the shirt he wants to wear when he wants to wear it, and also the way his own wardrobe is dwindling due to cas never fucking returning anything. not that he minds sharing! but that would require cas to bring anything back.
not that dean plans to confront him about it. which is maybe cas’s play here? damn. well. deans done great at not bringing up anything heavier than meal planning for over a month already. no need to ruin his streak now.
there’s still hunts. sam and eileen have been out on a few since cas got back. now that dean is better, sam hasn’t been hovering so much. but cas brings the job to dean in the dean cave, pulled up on his phone to show him. it ends up being easy to wrap up, just a matter of destroying a cursed 35mm camera properly and getting the formerly cursed women to the nearest hospital. they don’t even need to put on the fed suits for it, which is good, because dean forgot that cas’s old suit got ruined in his rescue. in deans defense, he wasn’t really thinking that hard about clothes that day, or about anything besides cas heaving himself upright on the other side of that rift, alive and back.
when dean brings up the need for a new fed suit, cas just hums like it’s inconsequential. and because dean is still practicing non confrontation, he decides to take matters into his own hands.
the suit is easy. he goes with the same cut jimmy novaks suit was, in black, and a few dress shirts. ties seem to be one of the few things cas likes to shop for, so dean only grabs one—boring, professional blue and white stripes. it comes in handy days after he hangs it up in cas’s closet, when they have to haul ass out to tennessee to deal with a werewolf pack and have to play fed to get access to the bodies.
after that, it’s a blue fleece-lined hoodie he picks up while he’s canvassing for witnesses hunting what turns out to be a shifter. cas wears it the whole time they’re in the motel looking over the facts of the case, and he wears it in the car on the way back, his strong squared fingers catching deans eye in the rear view mirror whenever he fidgets with the hoods drawstring. there’s a stack of weird novelty tee shirts he picks up in the city the next time he does the bulk restock, this time alone. cas wears them all in a rotation, mostly under his hoodie or one of deans flannels.
when cas asks him to grab a jacket for him, dean cracks on his non confrontational policy. “you should choose it yourself,” he says. cas just hums.
“i like wearing what you’ve chosen,” he says after a minute. “i trust your judgement.”
which, leave it to cas to turn this into—something.
dean buys him a jacket.
he buys him socks, and pajama pants, and new boots and some henleys and a few thrifted flannels, soft from wear. he buys a scarf. house shoes. and cas wears them all, and never returns deans clothes before dean asks for them.

beauty on a budget for someone new to the lifestyle?
since you’re only starting out, you’ll probably want to focus on affordable products and diy and at home beauty treatments.
you can get affordable skin care products from brands like cerave, cetaphil, and the ordinary. you’ll find all your essential cleansers, serums, exfoliators and moisturizers. you can order facial sheet masks in bulk cheap from amazon. you can also use aztec secret healing clay as a clay masque. skip the guasha altogether and follow a youtube tutorial for face sculpting massages instead.
good quality affordable makeup brands I used when I was nearly broke included e.l.f., nyx, wet n’ wild, maybelline, and makeup revolution. look into some other drug store brands within your budget and check reviews before you buy anything so you don’t waste your money. get generic beauty blenders and powder puffs, you’ll be replacing them often anyway so it’s best to get them cheap. you can buy cheap big makeup brush sets on amazon that’ll last a long time if you clean them regularly and take care of them.
press on nails and home manicures / pedicures will save you a ton of money and time. find a good manicure kit and pumice stone. buy a dollar store basin and some epsom salts to soak your feet. for press on nails I usually get mine from temu or brands like kiss and impress. if you just want to paint your natural nails, get a gel polish like l.a. colors color craze gel or sally hansen miracle gel. if you want to go the extra mile, invest in the supplies and learn how to do your own acrylics or gel manicures.
learn how to wax, shape, and tint your own eyebrows. you can buy an affordable diy wax kit like this one and use youtube tutorials on how to find the most flattering brow shape. (as a bonus, the hard waxing kit can also be used to remove unwanted hair on the rest of your body.) you can also find cheap brow tinting kits that usually last up to five uses at sally’s beauty supply and various other stores online.
if you want your lashes done, you can either get really, really good at applying a strip lash – my go to affordable brands are ardell and kiss – or you can invest in some bulk lash clusters and the falscara diy eyelash extension kit. figure out what lash placement will best compliment your features, then watch lots and lots of youtube tutorials on how to use it and practice, practice, practice. they take some getting used to.
when it comes to hair care, the very first thing you want to do is figure out your hair type with a quiz like this one and find what it needs to look and feel healthy. I have 2A hair, so I would pretty much always spring for nexxus for something moisturizing and lightweight, but I’ve heard great things about ogx, shea moisture, not your mother’s, maui moisture, l’oreal elvive, and garnier whole blends which are great for other hair types, densities, and textures. all these brands carry a wide variety of products from shampoo, to leave in treatments, to hair masques, to curl cream — you get it. again, read reviews. you can also use a cotton t-shirt to dry and plop your hair instead of spending money on a microfiber towel, and a satin scarf wrapped around your head to protect your hair while sleeping instead of a silk bonnet and pillow case.
if you’re into styling your hair, two of my favorite methods are heatless styling and blowouts. for heatless styling, you may not even need to purchase any new styling tools. I started out using this heatless robe curl method and eventually started doing other heatless styling methods like the ones on this playlist once I started buying more tools, and did styles like these when I didn’t feel like setting my hair at all. for styles that require heat, a highly suggest investing in a dyson airwrap – which can do pretty much everything – so you don’t end up spending even more on an arsenal of hot styling tools.
good luck, sugar
xoxo

also tbh while im already on my rant. you guys have got to show support for openers. granted the crowd was somewhat hype for pinkshift but they are an equally talented and worthy band and if youre gonna crowdsurf and mosh for dunes why arent you crowdsurfing and moshing for pinkshift? (i know why but im not going to say it) also a mile long line for dunes merch meanwhile every member of pinkshift was standing at their merch table getting ignored. they were SURPRISED when i asked to buy a copy of their album. he literally said "really??" and was more shocked that i left them a tip. if you can drop hundreds on bulk buying one of every dunes shirt there really isnt a reason you cant toss a few bucks to the opener too?? their merch was dirt cheap and 99% of the money they make touring comes from merch sales you guys are contributing to the downfall of live music and i want to fucking bite someone about it

Things I do as an actual adult that makes my life better on a daily basis:
I find something I like to wear and always buy the same thing going forward. I am on my 6th pair of Asics sneakers in over a decade, I own 20ish pairs of Avia socks, I have 10 of the same shirt in 7 different colors, 13 of the same tank in 10 colors, and usually around 3 pairs of the exact same jeans. I can blindly get dressed and it all feels comfy and looks fine.
(Stolen from my sister) I have a type of meal I plan on making for each day of the week so I don't have to think quite so much about groceries and what's for dinner.
All of my veggies go with any protein. Just grab a can or bag of what sounds good, boom, meal.
Canned soup and cups of minute rice. I cannot stress enough how much easier this makes lunch when I have no leftovers. 1 can of Progresso anything is 2 meals when you add a cup of rice.
Sundays are for writing and laundry. Only writing and laundry. Pair a long chore with a hobby and make that a day every week.
The good vacuum is actually worth it. You will never regret getting the best vacuum you can afford, bc it will pay for itself really quickly.
Don't spend extra on a broom unless it's for severe allergies. They all work the same otherwise. Cheaper ones are lighter, so you'll probably use them more.
Dish gloves. They really do make you more likely to wash dishes bc you don't have to touch the ick.
Buy the candle and burn it.
You can order cheap food containers from the dollar tree in bulk, same cost. If you have somewhere to shove the box, do recommend. We all have chucked a container bc the contents are about to gain sentience, you'll feel less guilty when the container cost a dollar.
Buy toilet paper in bulk. Too much toilet paper is a self solving issue.

For the character design oc asks, canvas for Kergat, change for Finn, day for Ibarra? Also. I guess, wildcard- if there’s a specific character/question you really wanted with that reblog game and you don’t get it I’d love to hear it anyway
Canvas: Does your OC have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? Do they display or cover them up at all?
Kergat has never had any piercings or tattoos. She doesn't really care for piercings for safety reasons. She isn't against tattoos. If she ever got one, it would probably be a dog tattoo on her arm or back. But Kergat is rather frugal, so it would take a lot of drive to save up to hire a good tattoo artist. She wouldn't feel comfortable going to a cheap dingy tattoo shop.
Kergat has some scars from being sporty, most of them small, but one on the side of her chest from swimming in water that was way too rough for her skill level and slamming against rocks. It's not super visible since she's wearing a sleeved shirt most of the time.
change: Has your OC ever drastically changed their appearance? Significant haircuts, big tattoos, complete wardrobe swap, etc? Why? How do they feel about the change?
Finn had much longer hair before he had to get it all trimmed short to be a mech pilot.
He kind of misses his long red hair, but Hummel keeps him busy.
day: What does your OC wear on a normal day? Why do they default to those clothes? Do they wear similar things, or do they change it up?
Ibarra just wants to be comfy if he hasn't got anything to dress up for. He kind of likes the monotony of being a soldier because he doesn't have to think about what he is gonna wear.
His off-duty wardrobe would be Bulk T-shirt Pack For Men and Bulk Sweatpants Pack For Men if his polycule didn't buy stuff for him.
I think the polycule ordered one of these for a laugh.
formal: What's your OC's formal look? Do they like dressing up? Do they have different looks for different occasions?
Kergat doesn't really enjoy the SOT Gala as a party since everyone has to be on their best behavior and Lt. Washburn is probably having a fit over something stupid, but she does like dressing up in her formal uniform. She's gonna gloss the shit our of her boots. Can use as mirror, maybe eat off of it if shoe polish wasn't kinda nasty.
Soldiers are allowed a skirt option for their formal uniform, but Kergat prefers the trousers. It takes less thought on maintaining decency at a stressful event with trousers.
Though due to her past hobby being caber tossing, Kergat's Pavlovian reaction to feeling wind between her legs is probably "gotta chuck the largest log possible"

Growing is realizing you don't have to be really hyper feminine to be seen as pretty or valid just because you're plus size.
After 2-3 year's of changing my style to skirts, dresses, and wearing a bunch of pink it took a single pair of men's jorts from the thrift store to make me feel confidence I've never felt before. I went to a cookout in my jorts, a random band shirt, Franky button shirt and It was eye opening to say the least. Ik it's probably gross but I didn't take those pants off for 3 DAYS (I showered tho don't worry💀) cause they were the first pair of pants that didn't make me feel like I constantly had to look down and check to see if my thighs looked weird.
The last 3 year's of my life I have tried to change myself in ways to make myself look feminine. I would spend hours anxiously trying to find something that didn't make me feel gross just to go to the grocery store. Cause I was always scared to wear a t shirt and sweat pants cause I didn't want people to think I'm gross or lazy just cause I'm fat/plus size. Which is insane.
I'm proud to say I'm not a woman. I'm genderqueer/transmasculine and I have never felt so content with myself in my life. And guess what when i made that decision I wasn't even on my adderall so that was actually MY DECISION ya know.
I used to be so insecure about my weight. Which I still am working on not being but coming to this conclusion helped a lot. And I mean a lot. It made me realize I don't even want to be skinny. I want to be strong. Like bulk or some shit. And I can do that no matter what weight. So yeah. I can look at myself in the mirror now without wanting to cry cause I'm not skinny and instead can think. Damn I'm looking fucking sick and strong asf.
My word of advice is if you're feeling some type of way about your gender buy a pair of cheap jorts and maybe the Franky button up from hot topic cause let me tell you that combo is insane for me. And yes I'm talking about one piece Franky. WOOOOOOOOOOO YEAH⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ JORTS SAVE LIVES BABY⁉️⁉️⁉️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Makes me also realize why I like violent j so much. CAUSE I WANNA BE LIKE HIM💀 (used to be a picture of him on post)
Update: nvm bros actually a pedophile. Love my life.😐🧍♀️
