I just read through the entirety of The Way Time Twists today, and like... wow, I just really like it. The buildup to Moon was really cool and I just really adore your writing style. I noticed on the update post, you've said to take a shot when something ties in to the reveal. I hope this isn't a question that sounds weird, but what are your favorite parts that foreshadow it?

firstly aaauuhhh thank you so much for this kind ask!! you have no idea how much it means to me to hear that people enjoy it as much as they do and it truly warms my heart T_T

and its not a weird question at all!! i am always looking for an excuse to talk about it and this blog allows me to really indulge in that :3c as for foreshadowing.... there were so many things i had fun doing when it came to building up to moonjumper specifically, especially while trying to keep his presence subtle, but this is my personal favorite:

ive highlighted to point it out, but the line to note here is "All that remained was the moon overhead, peering through the canopy of purple leaves." the moon has been a pretty common detail in my descriptions of the subcon, but this was the first real line that a.) called attention to it and b.) had a shift in language in describing the moon (as in, this was where i started using words like peering and watching and other words for watching when describing the moon).

this is also where i stopped describing kid's experiences as some vague feeling of being watched and started describing it more as something is actively watching :)

there's a bunch more once you know where to look (im serious about the drinking game lol dont do it. im not responsible for your liver 🙏🏾) but im not going to post every little thing because. well personally i think that takes the fun out of it. youre more than welcome to try and find all the fun connections though... theres a lot ^_^

OK OK I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU

so ginatan or ginataan comes from the word gata which is like coconut milk like like the creamy version cos coconut milk has like a juice version but that's just juice the coconut milk is from like squeezed coconut flesh hehe lol. ok so ginataan means like 'a dish with gata/you put gata'

and theres like a savory version of ginataan

idk in the internet it has a g as in ginataang which i guess makes sense cos if you said, ginataang hipon, that means shrimp (hipon) with coconut milk (ginataang lol)

but you can literally call any dish with coconut milk ginataang. but that's like the savory version.

I just read a great fic by aisthuu "every love story is a ghost story", didn't see it in your recs so wanted to recommend it! LWJ is a guqin composer and teacher, buys a cheap guqin off eBay which ends up being attached to WWX's spirit from canon era. It's bittersweet, LWJ deals with Lan's homophobia (implicit in a Lan way) and his feelings towards the ghost. This is author's only ao3 fic and honestly I don't remember how I stumbled upon it, but I'm happy I did and hope you will enjoy it too!  [I’ve recently read this one, and loved it!]

Ok so I absolutely have to rec "see you yesterday" by glyphic. It's a wip, but it's currently at 101k so there's a whole lot there, and it's terrible and wonderful and beautiful all at once. The way the backstory of canon events is adapted to the modern-with-cultivation setting is brilliant, and then there's the amnesia, and then there's the time loop. This fic lives permanently rent-free in my brain.

Adrinette April Day 26 - Sick Day

Adrien was only slightly surprised when Marinette flew in through his window. She walked over and closed the window after herself, activating the automatic blinds and waiting until it was dark to detransform. The pink flash of light lit up the room, and Adrien hit the light switch to see her smiling face.

“Hey there,” he smiled, watching her move over to him. He walked a few paces to meet her halfway, holding his arms out for a hug. She stood on her tiptoes, holding his face and pulling him down into a short kiss. He blinked in surprise, blushing.

“What was that for?” he asked, looking down at her bright eyes. She seemed to be glowing, and it made him want to feel as happy as she did.

“I missed you,” she spoke, blinking up at him cutely. It only made him blush more, his heart feeling tight. Usually they teased one another when they met at night like this, having seen each other at school during the day, but Adrien didn’t feel the urge to discount her statement at all.

“I missed you too,” he said truthfully, having wanted to see her blue eyes up close all day. She gave him a warm smile, moving to hug him tightly around his torso.

“You’re a dork,” she mumbled against his chest, and he let his arms wrap around her. He relished in her gentle warmth, letting the feeling spread throughout his whole body as he held her close. He saw Tikki and Plagg flying around the room, eventually settling on the railing on the second floor to watch the two of them.

“Well, what does the dork’s girlfriend want to do tonight?” he asked, a little disappointed when she pulled away so soon. She pursed her lips in thought, holding up a bag she brought.

“I have that homework you wanted to work on together, I have my Switch, I have knitting I could do,” she listed, glancing up at him. He weighed the options, looking around his room briefly.

“Is that homework due tomorrow?” he wondered, and she nodded, taking it out and looking it over.

“It shouldn’t take us too long,” she said, gauging his expression. He shrugged, and she smiled, setting her bag on the couch and running over to his bed to jump onto it and land on her back. He watched her and laughed, grabbing his homework from his desk and joining her to sit on the bed.

They worked on their homework for a while, trying to stay focused but getting into one pillow fight and two tickle attacks along the way. Adrien loved the face she made when she wanted to get something done but couldn’t keep her laughter in, so despite how long it took them to finish, seeing that face made it worthwhile.

“What now?” he asked as he put his homework away, but Marinette was already grabbing something from her bag.

“Can I show you the new outfit I made in Animal Crossing?” she wondered, holding up her Switch. He chuckled, nodding.

“Of course, princess,” he smiled, settling into the couch. As he waited for her to come over, he coughed suddenly, surprising the both of them.

“Are you getting sick?” she asked, pressing a gentle hand to his forehead.

“I have been feeling a little under the weather,” he offered as she sat down next to him. “I should have mentioned that before you came over. I’m sorry,” he said, looking at her. She looked at him thoughtfully, shrugging and then leaning over and pressing a softer kiss to his lips, letting herself linger close to him for a moment.

“I don’t mind,” she spoke softly, turning back to her game with a smirk. Adrien’s heart was racing, his face red once more. She was going to drive him truly crazy, and something told him that she would be proud of doing so.

They played Animal Crossing for a while, the kwamis coming over to watch and to commentate. Sooner or later, Marinette’s head ended up in his lap. He could tell she was pretty worn out from the day and from the early morning Akuma attack, and he was sufficiently tired himself. He yawned once, and she looked away from the game, watching him.

“Wanna get some rest?” she asked, her blue eyes gazing into his own. He looked down at her, once again in awe of the beautiful girl that he was so lucky to call his girlfriend. Her hair had fallen out of its bun, unraveling across his thighs, and it was messy in the cutest way possible. She was already wearing her pajamas, her pink shirt sliding off her shoulder slightly and riding up to show her midriff. Her shorts were almost too short, but then again, Adrien’s Ladybug pajamas were just as blush-inducing.

“I think so,” he spoke softly, seeing the gentle blush settling into her cheeks. She’d noticed his eyes running over her, and he blushed right back.

“A-ah, sorry!” he exclaimed, seeing her wide eyes. “I was just gonna tell you that, uh, it’s almost a shame to go to bed,” he spoke, blushing at his pause in the sentence and what it wanted to imply. “I mean, because you look really pretty, and I could look at you forever,” he said, still sounding like an idiot in his own mind. It was hard to say things eloquently around her, his head getting fuzzy when her beautiful presence was so close.

“Thank you,” she replied, giving him a shy smile. He smiled back, and they both switched off their games. He laid a hand on her head, gently stroking her soft hair.

“You should probably head back,” he told her, but she pouted almost immediately.

“No way,” she said stubbornly, and he couldn’t help but laugh a little. “If I’m gonna get sick, it’s already gonna happen.” He eyed her, seeing the adamance in her eyes. He ran his fingers through the length of her hair, nodding.

“You’re probably right,” he relented, seeing her get excited. She sat up and hugged him, kissing his cheek and putting her things away so that she would be able to leave first thing in the morning.

Adrien turned off the lights and slid under his covers in bed, waiting for her as she brushed her teeth in the bathroom. She walked over after a few minutes, yawning and stretching, climbing into the other side of the bed.

“Sorry to always be taking your side of the bed, Plagg,” she spoke quietly, and Plagg flew up towards the two of them.

“No worries, Marinette,” he smiled, flying away to find a comfortable spot near Tikki. Adrien smiled, thinking about how Marinette brought out a softer side of Plagg and of himself.

Adrien and Marinette laid there for a few moments, facing each other.

“Thank you for letting me come over,” she whispered, and he smiled, reaching out to find her hand.

“As long as we don’t get caught, you’re always welcome,” he whispered back, hearing her move closer. He could feel her gentle breath on his lips, feeling his heart pick up once more. He let go of her hand, reaching up to gently stroke her cheek, rubbing a thumb across her bottom lip before gently kissing her once more.

It was softer and slower than before. The way Marinette kissed him in return made his heart hurt, and he almost felt like he couldn’t breathe.

After a few moments, she let their lips part, and he could feel the heat on her face under his palm. He wished he was able to see her flushed expression, knowing it would make his heart race even faster.

She moved closer again, curling against his chest, resting her forehead there. He held her shoulders, keeping her safe in his arms.

“Goodnight, Adrien,” she whispered, barely audible. He smiled, letting his eyes fall closed.

“Goodnight, Marinette,” he replied in a whisper, falling asleep with the girl he loved more than anything in his arms.

Adrien’s alarm clock sounded off too soon it seemed, but they both awoke as the first traces of sunlight lit up the Paris skyline. Adrien had ended up on his back, and Marinette was splayed out across his chest, her sleepy face lifting to meet his.

“Good morning,” she spoke, sitting up and stretching. Adrien found himself wishing they could stay in bed all day cuddled up with each other, his body instantly feeling cold as she left his arms.

He tried to reply, no sound coming out of his throat. His throat was aching, and as he looked to Marinette, he realized they were probably both sick. She sneezed and confirmed his thoughts, looking at him and laughing a little.

“Guess we’re taking a sick day today,” she said hoarsely, sniffling. Adrien sighed out, nodding.

Marinette moved to get out of bed, but Adrien caught her hand, pulling her back against him and holding her there. She giggled in his arms, and it was the most wonderful noise he’d ever heard.

Valentine's Day Asks: The Prime Numbers

Wow! I dont know why i didnt see the notification for this one but ok, alright ah

1. do you have a crush on anyone?

I guess so? There are people who Stand Out to me and i call them crushes in my head sometimes but mostly I just want to be friends with them. Like I dont usually get dizzying sweeps of emotion for someone, physical or romantic, but I do get an urgent and baseless desire to hang out with them... maybe take a walk or invite them to get ice cream. So like if we’re on the same page about what I call a Crush on my emotional scale then yes. Theres a couple people.

2. what’s your favorite candy?

I like lemonheads and i will eat them until im sick of them if given half a chance. I also like snickers now because theres peanuts in it so i get to pretend im making a healthy choice

3. favorite love song?

Slow Boat To China, any version but specifically sung by Bette Midler and Barry Manilow. You know, like, just the corniest possible version? Partly for nostalgia, because it was one of like three CDs i remember my mom playing all the time when we were just kind of around the house when I was little. It also has the distinction of being the first duet I learned the words to (though as far as im aware none of my friends know the lyrics... i dont think ive ever actually sung it with someone) and it’s probably gotta be the one that gets stuck in my head the most. Right down to the dumb banter in the middle (“Bette, I didn’t know you felt that way about me.” “I don’t. I need a piano player.”)

I also like “Somewhere Beyond The Sea.” I think, as a general rule, that if there are boats in the words to a love song I will probably like it.

7. do you prefer poems or love letters?

Ahhhhhhhhhh to read or to write? I like writing poems because I think they’re... easier honestly? Writing is so hard, identifying your feelings is hard. Having some constraints makes writing easier, and a rhyme and cadence makes it flow. Besides, it’s more musical that way so I think for me it feels like a more natural expression of love. I do well with more structured expression, and not so much with making just raw, unrefined feelings known.

Not to say writing poetry is easy. It’s less difficult than a love letter, sure, but there are still potential pitfalls. If i make a metaphor that makes me think of science, the rest of the poem WILL be just an extension of the metaphor that gets more and more didactic until I’m just telling you science facts.

11. dinner dates or brunch dates?

Dinner dates. I decided that before i came up with a reason why. I think the reason is that an evening engagement means I have something to look forward to, or be nervous about but then i have time to mentally prepare myself. Whereas morning, even if it’s not “early” morning, I feel more stressed about getting there on time and then afterwards theres a whole rest of the day where i either have to get somewhere after, or its just this unstructured uncertainty. Dinner, youve already done the rest of the day, so you can be present without worrying about what you gotta get to after.

13. favorite perfume/cologne?

I... dont know that ive ever noticed a perfume or cologne and felt it was applied tastefully, because i think if it is insubtle it defeats the point. That said, if it’s actually well applied so that it’s less an overwhelming cloud that trails comically behind people you pass in the quad and more like when someone sits down right next to you om the couch and you get just a hint of their shampoo or conditioner, to the point where maybe you didnt even consciously notice it before but now you say “oh, you’re the reason ive been craving ice cream, you smell minty” if it was only that subtle then i think im generally fond of more smoky incense-y smells like sandalwood, or roses but i am picky about rose fragrances, so it has to actually smell just like fresh roses or i wont be able to overlook that the smell is not roses. I have this friend who went to my middle school, and we were very into scents and making potpourri and things. At the time, his grandma had a hand soap that smelled exactly like roses, it was delightful and he said as much and I said that it sounded amazing but I’d have to take his word for it, but then the next time he visited her he came back with a little jar of it for me just so i could smell it, and he was right, it smelled just like roses. Actually forget the roses, it will make me think of the hand soap and as lovely as that is I dont want to give anyone vying for my affection any reason to feel like they’re in competition with someone, or something. It’s not a competition. Learn to coexist with my memories, because you’re not going to fight my nostalgia and win.

17. what’s the most attractive thing a person could wear?

If you’re wearing something knit or embroidered that you made yourself Im definitely gonna want to talk to you. Also if you’re wearing really comfy looking cargo pants but thats probably because i want to know where you got them so i can get some for me.

19. snow, rain, or sun?

Sun because people will take a walk with me

23. what’s your dream wedding like?

Dont have one but if i did its in a forest or at least a grove of trees. Mostly small gathering, family and close friends. I have a dress for the vows i guess, just because ive seen a lot of Say Yes to the Dress so thats how ive generally pictured it, (which i only really do when im watching Say Yes to the Dress), but ive got comfortable shoes, and im gonna change into pants asap after. We probably do some corny thing thats kind of an inside joke. Each of us has a Best Man or equivalent, who carries a sword — we joke that this makes it a “traditional” wedding, though beyond that it’s really not meant to be. It’s mostly simple, though maybe have a little extravagance or two, like a chocolate fountain, because how often do you have an excuse to have a chocolate fountain. I tend to wander off from other peoples weddings somewhere in the middle, at some point i just get a little overstimulated, and the amount of people that will likely be invited makes this probable. At the reception, when the families and friends are singing and dancing, i probably quietly excuse myself to my spouse and drift away, finding a spot in a tree where i can still hear the music and the laughter from a distance. I am joined not long after by my spouse (and the thought is strange, and even then i cant quite wrap my mind around that word yet, the commitment it implies) who knows where to look for me, and who perhaps pulls a leaf or two from my hair as they join me on an adjacent branch. We sit quietly together for some time until it seems appropriate to rejoin the festivities, as it is our wedding after all, and the slow dance is coming up, and we will spend some quiet time later when everyone has gone home. It is nice, the dancing, and as tired as we are we still drift around the dance floor among loved ones long into the night.

I dont know if this is like... how i intend my wedding to be. Like i said i didnt have an answer going in. But now that im trying to imagine it, this feels realistic.

Piano. First of all because i am better at piano than guitar and second because you can do duets on one piano

37. do you like to dance?

Aw hell yeah!! I would call myself an... Inexperienced dancer, but if a song has a good rhythm or even if it doesnt and i am full of energy i WILL be moving and twisting and you ARE welcome to join me

41. favorite soda?

I usually go for lighter ones like orange or sprite. I found Lime fanta at a gas station once that tasted like green jello and it was good but ive only seen it maybe twice ever.

43. favorite ABBA song?

Gimme Gimme Gimme always gets me on my feet, and ive listened to it probably the most because it’s on my “Dates and Times Playlist” (the first line says ‘half past 12’ and then the chorus says ‘after midnight’ so its in with a collection of other midnight songs. Any time i hear any of the others i get this one in my head as well. Thatd just how it is.)

Can you maybe speak a bit on the subject of being a critique partner? Or giving requested constructive criticism (reciprocated or not)? And, most importantly, what to do in cases where the story makes zero sense, you're confused or disinterested or unmoved, and you honestly have no idea how to improve the story other than specific scene issues, not so much overall.

Tips for Giving Constructive Criticism

Here are some of my personal tips/rules for giving feedback:

1) Has this person asked for my feedback?

There are really only two situations where you should be giving someone feedback on their writing: when they’ve asked for it, and when you’re leaving a review. Even if someone asks you to read their writing, unless they specifically invite you to give feedback, it’s probably not welcome, and unwelcome feedback is never going to go over well no matter how constructive you try to be. So, no matter how much you think someone needs feedback, resist the temptation to give it unless they’ve asked for it or you’re doing a review.2) Give them a compliment sandwich.I don’t know if that’s a real thing or not, but I saw it on an episode of Family Guy and I’ve found the idea to have some merit. Basically, you soften the blow of negative feedback by preceding and following it with positive feedback. It doesn’t drown out the negative feedback, but I think it makes it easier to accept. So, something like: You have an amazing talent for creating vivid characters, but your dialog flow needs some work. The overall pace and flow of the story were great, though!

3) Choose your battles carefully…

You’re always going to run into situations where you’re asked to give feedback, but what you’re really being asked for is positive feedback, and unfortunately you’re not always going to know those situations when they arise. For that reason, it’s extremely important to consider the person who’s asking for feedback and examine the risks of being brutally honest. Is this someone who you can trust to take your brutally honest feedback well? Or is this someone who’s going to turn on you and make your life miserable for it? Is this someone who’s genuinely ready for the harsh reality of criticism? Or will that criticism at this stage do more harm than good? Is this really the hill you want to die on? Sometimes it’s better to either be vague or just retreat all together.

4) You can omit but you should never lie.

Sometimes you find yourself in a situation where the stakes are high–you don’t want to hurt a friend’s feelings or you’re worried about taking the wind from their sails, in which case it’s okay to just focus on the important things. Feedback doesn’t always have to be exhaustive (unless you are a critique partner, in which case it does, unless otherwise specified.) But you should also never lie and say that something is good when it isn’t. You can neglect to mention that their structure is a bit meandering, but you shouldn’t tell them their structure is great.

5) Do what you can and don’t worry about the rest.

In situations where a story is just so awful you don’t know where to start, just pick two or three things and leave it. It’s not your job to tell them how to improve their story–just to tell them that it needs improvement. So, for a story that makes zero sense, is confusing and uninteresting, and doesn’t pull you in, the “compliment sandwich” method in #2 would work great. If you can find two nice things to say, even if they’re super vague, you’ve got a good start. So, something like: I can tell you worked hard on this! The story left me a little confused, so the plot could use some tightening up, but there’s potential here. The story could use a little more heart to pull the reader in, but I think with some work you can get it where it needs to be. This at least gives them some good direction.

Whether they’d like each other/get along would depends on at which point and in which way they’d meet, I guess! Middle school was a complicated period for both of them, so it really depends - a few examples of how it could go are

they meet cause they frequent the same middle school - that implies they meet during the first year, when Bakugou was still full on bully/cocky asshole. Kirishima probably wouldn’t like him much because of it, would try to fight him. Bakugou might find him annoying/get pissed at how he thinks himself good enough to fight him. Definitely wouldn’t get along at first, might change their minds as they get to know each other or just keep on having a shitty relationship forever. I find more beliavable the first, since they do have really compatible personalities, but Bakugou was really convinced of his position as above everyone else back then and Kirishima would have never let him act like he was better than him without putting up a fight, so maybe not. Might actually fuck up their relationship in highschool too, really

they frequent different middle school, but happen to see each other outside of school before the sludge incident - if they were to meet cause Kirishima got in the middle of Bakugou bullying Deku, not much would change from option one. But if they were to meet for unrelated reasons, they could get along - Kirishima might think Bakugou manly, Bakugou might appreciate Kirishima’s guts (as long as Kiri doesn’t try to fight him). At first the relationship would definitely be unbalanced, because Kirishima would have no way of proving to Bakugou he’s at his same level since he wouldn’t be, but with time this might change. I can see Kirishima throwing himself at random bullies and Bakugou sighing and sometimes waiting for Kirishima to get his ass beat so maybe he’ll learn while other times lazily strolling up till he’s standing next to Kirishima to scare the bullies away. Bakugou’s... Bakugouness might do something to Kirishima’s self-esteem and could have him have his breakdown sooner, but by that point Bakugou might like him enough to do something about it. Or not. He’s still a cocky and self-centered ass at this point, after all. Kirishima’s presence might help with his bullying habit. Or not. Again, still an egoistical and egocentrical fucker at that point. Worse comes to worst, their relationship starts becoming more equal after the sludge incident/kiri seeing gigantomachia

they frequent different middle schools, but meet outside of school after the sludge incident but before kiri sees gigantomachia - this is probably my favorite one as far as them meeting in middle school goes. Bakugou at this point is questioning if he’s actually as strong as he always assumed he was, starting to feel like he needs to prove his worth to the world and himself, while Kirishima is still convinced he’s plain and weak, too scared to actually voice his dreams, but still tries to do his best and help those in need in front of him. If they were to meet at this point, Bakugou might actually find something to admire in Kirishima, find strength in him even - with the down-to-earth optimism and practical positivity, aware of reality but working to fix what he can, not letting circumstances and defeats bring him down. It might help Bakugou put into perspective the sludge incident, instead of just dwelling on it till it became a bomb ready to explode. Kiri would find Bakugou manly and cool, just like in canon, and they’d be able to build a relationship on equal grounds - Kirishima might even open up to him about how he wishes to try for UA, but he’s nearly sure he’s gonna fail. Bakugou might tell him that as he is right now he’s gonna fail for sure. He might also tell him that a quirk is like a muscle, and muscles get stronger if you train them, so just fucking stop wasting time and train yourself till your quirk is worth something, for fuck sake. By the time the event of Kiri’s backstory roll around, Bakugou might actually be there to hold Kirishima up and not let him go through it by himself. I dunno about crushes, but I do love this scenario and the relationship they’d end up having because of it

they frequent different schools, meet after Kirishima’s meeting with gigantomachia - there wouldn’t be many differences compared to the canon version of their meeting, I think. Bakugou might be a little more subdued, maybe, but generally it’d be the same.

these are just real general cathegories, depending on how the meeting unfolds anything might happen so really, who knows - there’s too many possibilities to be sure of anything, really haha

Summary: You’ve kept your self harm a secret until it became too much and you had to call your boyfriend Dean.

A/N: SO LIKE I SAID A LOT OF TRIGGERS. This was an inspirational fic to me because I’ve dealt with this stuff before. To me, at least, Dean is real. He lives in my head. Whenever I pick up the blade I can hear him saying “Put that down. Can’t you see how beautiful you are?” I can see his broken heart as I cut into my legs. I can feel him comforting me after I’m done. To me dean is real and this fic happens in my mind pretty much every night.

I don’t know how to put the gif at the beginning. Sorry I’m an idiot lol. Anyway, there is a gift at the bottom that is how I imagined Dean on the phone at the beginning.

Blood dripping.

Tears trickling.

Skin ripping.

Nights wer- are always hard for you. You stayed awake long after the rest of the world. Crying, not the cute, one-tear-running-down-the-cheek crying. Full on screaming, tears pouring down your cheeks. You clenched your teeth, held your stomach. Ever threw up sometimes just from the intensity.

Your days were pretty routine. Wake up grumpy from only getting a couple hours of sleep. Sometimes none. Then you would go to work, be happy for a while, joke around, smile, start to think, I can do this. Then at about 6pm you get sad, start thinking “why does nobody love me?” At about 11pm after you get in bed the tears start. At 12 you get your blades. At 2 you are screaming for help, in the middle of a nightmare even though you aren’t asleep. Something is chasing you, hurting you. Killing you slowly. At 5 you are wondering if anything is really worth this.

Nobody knew. Not family, not friends, not even your boyfriend, Dean. You were always smiling so everyone just assumed you were fine. Friends would come to you with problems and you would comfort them even though it was a fraction of what you were dealing with. You always got told “you know, you help me all the time. If you have any problems, you can call. Day or night.” Bullshit. If you spilled your guts you would have to clean them up yourself so why bother?

Work was terrible. You were told to go kill yourself twice, cursed out, had stuff thrown at you. You took a break even though you were supposed to be working and your manager screamed at you in front of everyone.

12:42AM

“Why does nobody care about me?! Am I not pretty enough?! Smart enough?! Nobody loves me. I should end it. No, gotta stay strong. For Dean.” You said as you wiped your tears and sat up on the bed. You opened your bedside table drawer. You only kept one thing in there. Blades. The bottom of the drawer was stained with drops of blood. You kept it locked up so no one would see. Much like you kept yourself locked up. Hoping nobody could see.

You often pondered how dean would react the first time you had sex. Seeing the deep red marks all up and down your legs and arms. Wrists were easy to cover up with Bracelets and such. You had been with Dean for over a year now. Your excuse was wanting to wait until marraige. BS. You had got real close a few times. You had tattoos on your arms so dean couldn’t see those but your legs were a different story. You had gone shirtless but as soon as dean tried to unbutton your jeans you had to pump the brakes. You could see the dissapointment in his eyes. Not in you, just in the fact that you didn’t trust him. At least that’s what he thought.

You grabbed a dull blade and drug it across your ragged skin. To you, your thighs were a canvas. You had to find an empty spot to start on. You looked all across the red marks, drug the very tip of the blade across the scars, feeling the familiar sting. Eventually found a good place to start. You dragged it across your skin, prepping it. Feeling the cool blade against your legs was comforting.

Then you pulled it across in a fast motion, blood starting to drip. You muffled a scream. Then again. Again. Again. Each time more painful than the last.

3:19AM

The screaming. Oh the screaming. Inside your head but it was all too real. You banged your head against the wall trying to make it stop. Trying to make your last few hours peaceful.

3:38:AM

You felt a cold hand wrap around your forearm. Start squeezing. It left an ugly purple bruise. Another had wrapping its fingers slowly around your throat. You tried to get it out of your room but you kept seeing it. Why was it there? What did it want?

4:22AM

Silence. You drifted to sleep until you heard a piercing scream. You jolted up. Tonight was worse than it had been for a long time.

4:36AM

You were pacing your room. “I should call him. No, he will leave me. No he won’t Y/N Don’t be ridiculous. Just call” you pulled out your phone and began dialing. You hit cancel and put the phone back in your bra. “Y/N you are such a worthless, stupid, piece of garbage. His JOB is to make you happy. Just call!” You told yourself I’m a fit of anger. You dialed again. This time you hit call.

The ringing went on for what felt like ages. "Come on, Dean! Pick up damn it!”

“Y/N, I swear if you are drunk in a ditch somewhere and I have to come pick you up one more ti-”

“D-Dean?” You said, clearly crying. Voice shaking. Your tried to swallow the lump in your throat but couldn’t. You just kept crying.

"Baby, what wrong. Are you hurt? Where are you?!” He said as you heard background noise. Sounded like he was getting out of bed.

You couldn’t make a noise. You just kept crying. You dropped the phone next to you on the bed without hanging up. Too weak to even hold the phone.

"Baby you’re scaring me what’s happening?! Im on my way.” You could hear through the phone. “I’m about an hour out though. Please stay on the phone.”

You picked up the phone and just said his name. In a quiet voice. You weren’t even sure how he could hear it. “Y/N” his voice broke. He was crying too. “Seriously, talk to me”

"I just can’t anymore baby” you said, suprised you got that many words out. “You can’t what? Can’t date? Can’t work? Can’t what sweetheart?”

"Live.” It was quiet. For a long time. “Y/N, I swear to God if you kill yourself before I get there I’m going to kill you.”

You smiled. “Nice logic.” You managed to say. Then you screamed. “Y/N?! Y/N!!! What happened?!” He yelled.

“It’s coming!! Dean please save me it’s coming it’s coming dean please please get here faster kill it please dean save me dean please please save me!”

"Baby I’m on my way but you have to talk to me. What’s coming?”

“The monster. It’s in my head.”

Dean was relieved it wasn’t an actual monster. Although it was very real. “Baby, talk to me. Why are you so scared?” He said in a calming voice.

You were quiet for a while. You were thinking. Calming enough to tell him.

“I hate myself. I hate my body, my skin, my hair, my face. My personality, my humor, my house, my voice, everything. I’m a worthless piece of absolute garbage and I shouldn’t even be on this earth.”

He sighed. “First of all. That’s complete Bullshit. You are the most amazing person I know! You think you are worthless?! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. your think you are ugly? You are perfect. I’ve seen the way you look at yourself in the mirror and I can tell what you are thinking and believe me. I love very freckle, Every mole, every imperfection because your imperfections are what make you so amazing because you wear them with pride. You think you are garbage? Welcome to the club!! You think you have a bad personality? Y/N, you are hilarious, smart, talented, the list goes on. I-I couldnt ecen twll you hoe many times ive cried from laughing so hard at the stuff youve said! I never knew you felt this way. How long?”

You were crying so it was hard for him to hear you. “Years. I never told anyone because they should be running scared. What kind of monster think the things I think, does the things I do, cuts their legs and arms because they aren’t pretty enough? Who does that? Me.”

“You’ve been cutting yourself for years? Y/N I’ve knows you for years. Why didn’t I ever know? Is that why you don’t want to have sex with me? You think I’ll run screaming??”

“Dean you know I want to I just can’t stand the though of you worrying.You didn’t ever know because I didn’t tell anyone. I’m weak, Dean. Weak and scared. Nobody would ever take me seriously if they knew how weak I actually was.”

“People don’t cry because they are weak Y/N. They cry because they have been strong too long.” He said is a soothing voice. “You are my girl and I would do anything to protect you. I’m almost there. I love you so damn much Y/N. You know what I love about you? You’re smile. I love how even after all the crap you’ve been through, you still smile. I love how strong you are. Holding on this long. I love you Y/N, I couldn’t live without you.”

“Why do you keep saying that? You love me? I’m trash. I’m worthless and stupid and ugly and I don’t deserve you. You should leave me. No sense in keeping me around. All I do is screw up. I’ll be gone soon anyways.” You said as you wiped a tear from your eye.

“Hold on baby.” He said as he hung up.

“What the fuck? Did he actually just hang up on me?” You were done crying. Even though it broke your heart. You just had a straight face. And laid down. Without blinking or looking at anything.

After about 2 minutes the door burst open. You didn’t move. Didn’t even blink, to be honest you didn’t even notice. Before long, Dean was lifting you up and wrapping his arms around you. He held you bridal style as you kept your dead eyes looking forward. Without saying anything. He sat down on the bed and your head laid in the crook of his neck as he rocked you and hummed a song.

About ten minutes later, he asked quietly “Can I see, baby?” You nodded. You were too exhausted to say anything. He just laid you on the bed and pulled down your pants. You just laid still, motionless, in a shirt and underwear as your boyfriend stood above you, crying. Seeing how bad it had gotten. Your legs were dark red pretty much all the way down to your knees.

“Baby” he said breathless. Not even really talking to you. He ran his fingers through his hair and cursed himself for not knowing sooner. He was pacing back and forth, breathing heavily. He looked so angry at himself. He shouldn’t be, it’s not his fault.

He leaned down and began kissing your legs. Not sucking, just leaving a soft kiss on every cut on your leg. You slowly lifted your head and asked “why?” Quietly.

“Because I love them. They show how strong you are. I love you. I’m going to kiss each and every cut. Each and every day until they heal. Because this is not okay but I don’t know how else to help you right now.”

You laid motionless, staring at the ceiling as he kissed each cut. You felt a warm drop of water run down your leg every couple seconds. No doubt a tear. He made his way up each leg and then jumped up to kiss your lips.

“Love.” You said as a tear ran down your face.

“Yes, I love you, Y/N.”

He wrapped you in his arms and leaned up against the headboard and watched you fall asleep.

Before the Notice of Determination I received Wage Transcript and Determination It says I am eligible and states my weekly benefit amount and when my benefit year begins and ends. My next to last employer is in the base period. I have already received on check for one week. and I am scheduled to claim my weeks for this coming Monday. I went to the Florida Unemployment website and went to the link and put in my info for info about my claim and it says nothing about me being denied. I recently got pulled over in GA im from PA for driving without a license and no insurance on my car and i was sent to jail and i bailed out and i go back to court in April and i was wondering if i should waste my time on actually getting an attorney and what exactly you think they'll do to me. And is there anything i can do to go in there and fix the problem like get my license or will it show up in the DMV that i went to jail for not having one? I figured if i could go get my license and my insurance figured out maybe the charges wouldn't be so harsh. Any ideas?

My daughter was in a car accident on Feb. 25. She was traveling straight in the southbound lane, when a rushing man in the northbound lane turned left in front of her. The driver admitted that he was upset because he had been following a school bus for the last 20 minutes and his friend, whom he was trying to pick up, was late for work. He stated that when he saw the driveway that he cut from behind the bus to turn in then realized from the skidding that he turned in front of a car. His insurance company is still investigating and waiting for pics of the scene and his friends statement. I was told by his insurance company (USAA) that witnesses not listed on the police report could not be used, but his friend is not on the police report and they are waiting for her statement. NC State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and the driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The driver was apologetic and admitted several times around a number of people that he must have blanked out or was daydreaming from the frustration of the school bus. USAA is saying that they need to make sure that my daughter was not 1% at fault, meaning speeding perhaps. The officer estimated her speed at impact at around 40 mph and the speed limit is 55mph. She hit the drivers back tire of his Jeep Wrangler (small truck) causing him to rest in a small trench or ditch ion the side of the attempted driveway. The front passenger side above the front tire and the front by the headlight is damaged on her car. She tried to avoid him, protect her younger sister (13) and avoid veering to much left in fear of hitting the school bus. My girls were terrified when I arrived 15 minutes after the accident. USAA stated that she may have had time to instanly stop, but she tried everything that she could do. In my opinion, she should have never been put into that situation. USAA is saying that points of contact are off, but my insurance agent said that she hit the back tire because a Jeep Wrangler is only 5 ft long and he was not towing a boat or driving a common sized vehicle. Plus the driver admitted to pushing down on the accelerator when he realized what was happening. I just need to have someones advice on this matter before hiring a lawyer. Thank you.""
