Just thinking about s4 but when Alpha!Eddie grabs Steve to shove the bottle against his neck, he doesn't realize Steve is an omega and accidentally scruffs him. And Steve is just boneless, kinda goes down. And Eddie isn't expecting deadweight and almost falls ontop of Steve but realizes what's happening (let's just say he's fought off a few bullies who scruffed members of his pack). He immediately drops the bottle and holds onto Steve, who tries to scent Eddie. Just shoves his face into Eddie's neck and nuzzles it, lets out a purr unintentionally.

#Obviously from then on it would be different because Eddie's inner alpha would be like I GOTTA PROTECT THIS SELFSACRIFICING IDIOT #And Steve is just like wow Eddie can manhandle him?? (personally, i think my stance is that he has some ability to keep himself afloat in calmer waters- on the shore or in a pool- but not in the way where its a particular skill. hes spend enough time dicking around in the shallows with Jack & Sam & Ed to know how to handle himself in water where he cant consistently reach the bottom, to feel comfortable cooling off by a waterfall, but is also keenly aware that if he goes overboard, even in relatively calm waters, being able to swim isnt going to do anything to save his life if a dinghy isnt sent. hes not gonna drown the second he's in the ocean or anything, but hes screwed if the waters a little too rough or its late or a raid and it isnt noticed before the ships a way away.)

I hate Jimmy...So Much. He's the kind of character you want to shoot on sight and I commend the writers for making him such an awful person and not justifying ANY of his actions. Like, the more the story goes on, the more you learn about him, and the more you witness the actions he takes and the consequences of what he's done, the more you hate him.

And I feel so bad for everyone in the crew as they all end up suffering because of Jimmy's actions. Just...augh. What the fuck.

Nothing makes you realize how few people know how to properly greet or introduce themselves to an unfamiliar animal than taking your dog (who you are very careful with, socially, because he's a Large Dog with a nervous demeanor, and thus intimidating by nature) to a family gathering and watching everyone just go straight for the head pats without even letting him sniff
