In the real world, a tween boy was opening up his phone, absentmindedly clicking on the BuzzzTube app, expecting to waste time scrolling past random clips. Much to his surprise, an “ERROR” message popped up, stating that the servers were currently down.

Boy: “Ugh. Really?… Oh well. TikTok it is!”

Meanwhile…

Alarms were blaring and the normally blue Internet sky went dark as the flames that engulfed the BuzzzTube Headquarters illuminated and casted shadows around the normally bright and sterile world. Luckily, everyone that was inside is safely outside, keeping their distance from the burning building.

The trendsetter Yesss groaned, shaking her head as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

Yesss: “How. Did this happen?!? Maybe, didn’t you do prop checks like you were supposed to?!”

Maybe: “Yes, Yesss! I did! I got all the reports from the studio operators, the visual effects team, we checked with lights… Everything was up to code!!!”, he frantically explained to his boss, while his work-partner/husband placed a reassuring hand on his back.

Yesss: “Then WHY is my life’s work on fire?!?! And not in the good way!!!”

Melton: “Yesss, please! I am sure we’ll figure out what happened! We will just have to wait until we are in the clear…”

As the grown-ups were in panic, the two kids standing on the side just watched the scene take place before them. The oldest of the pair turned to his younger brother.

Hugo: “… You just HAD to make those viral candy grapes without a kitchen pass, didn’t you?….”

The little, “angel” child had a wide smile, not at all phased by what should have been a traumatic experience. He simply shrugged.

thinking about ex-prince! rin who has to go to university to get a degree and land a job, since all he’s ever known was how to run a kingdom and nothing about the outside world. ex-prince rin! who ends up being roommates with this computer science major called tsukki, and how the two butt heads with their dry wit and sarcasm. ex-prince rin! who wears a cap and mask every time he goes out to avoid people staring a little too long and they go, “wait, doesn’t he look familiar?” and ex-prince rin! who learns how to tie his own aprons as he clocks in his shift at this cafe near his university and secretly crushes on his manager, the only woman around his age because he’s nearing his thirties and his peers in uni are younger than him. and how his manager is strict and intimidating, completely different from his shy and soft-spoken ex-wife, yet extremely soft for her co-workers and has even softer spot for rin.

that’s who he is now. just rin, not rintaro. he avoids the international news whenever they play in the radio, and you, his manager, notice his discomfort and will always switch to a jazz station when you two close up the cafe

hi I'm the anon who dreams abt beach picnics w ya lol! I live by the ocean in the pacific northwest of the USA (the northernmost point of california), the weather is almost always gentle and on the cold side. Mornings are misty and foggy. There's always a drone in the air like someone breathing and it smells like seaweed. Sometimes there are ridiculous rotund seals on the beach. There are redwoods here and they are so massive they create their own weather. I look at the ocean every day on my walks and it always makes me feel small in a way that makes me fear death less. The nearest city is a 6 hour drive away. There aren't many great jobs or friends or good food here and I'm always a bit lonely tbh, but it is a nice and quiet place to be solitary. you should visit if you ever get the chance ! I'll make you lunch. I'm so psyched and excited to watch industry, I hope you're having a lovely day

that sounds so dreamyyyyy I think if I ever saw seals hanging out in the wild would make me cry scream and throw up but in a nature is so beautiful way!!! I do think it’s crucial for me to spend a month or two doing fuck all all over california if we all focus on making the dollar collapse we can make this happen!!!!! I do see how loneliness can seep in quickly somewhere like that tho, in a very different way a big city can make you feel it
