I'm Louis & Gabrielle anon, thanks for response!

While there's popular headcanons about them getting along because of surface similarities and history with Lestat, I agree that they would probably hate each other.

I read theories on Gabrielle's reaction on Lestat's abuse of Louis and Claudia, and him following patterns of his father but i lowkey disagree. Gabrielle was detached from society shackles once she was turned and i think it involves morality too. Even alive she was very "it's only me and my loved ones (lestat)" person and even more after becoming vampire. So I can't imagine her particularly caring what Lestat did to those strangers.

She would focus only on Lestat's side of story and even then keep it to herself, not sharing any of her worries with Lestat. But it still wil affect how she treats Louis, especially considering murder attempt.

Louis I think is similar in that regard, though he preserves ties to humanity and wears a mask in the way Gabrielle doesn't. That and him never particularly showing empathy towards female struggles will result in Louis not caring about circumstances of Gabrielle's life as a human, including big chances that her kids, including Lestat are results of rape or at least marital rape.

There's also aspect of incest (though we don't know yet how explicit it will be) and grooming (for example Gabrielle telling her sexual fantasies while Lestat was teen). If Rolin is truly insane, he can parallel Louclaudia talking while Loustat had sex with some Gabistat scene.

And of course I'm interested to see, if they make Louis and Gabrielle ACKNOWLEDGE parallels in their defense mechanisms and do something about it? Okay, Gabrielle probably won't change but maybe Louis will? With time of course!

So yes, i agree with you. Aside from fascination at first glance that quickly will fade away, I can't see them having any positive relationship.

Yeah, I don't think Gabrielle will care all that much what went down in Lestat and Louis' marriage the first time around, particularly given how normal it was in her human life and her own experiences, and like, vice versa, Louis is sexist, as you observed, and has some lowkey misogynistic tendencies, so I don't think he'll be all that sympathetic to Gabrielle, especially if he's looking at her not as a woman in and of herself, but as Lestat's mother (and that's an extremely good point about Lestat and his siblings likely being the product of intermarital rape). I can see him pretty easily seeing only her failures to protect Lestat from his father (especially if he feels they to an extent parallel his own with Claudia), and then her own neglect and her own pretty fucked up boundaries with Lestat.

On top of that, I've said it on here before, but I think the show has a really strong throughline about the fact that victim survivors often treat each other worse than those without the shared experience - from Claudia not believing Lestat's story about Magnus, to Lestat weaponising Claudia's rape against her to force her home, to Armand diminishing Lestat's rape as something he quickly and easily got over, even as Daniel calls him out on it, to Louis throwing the fact that Armand was groomed back in his face during a fight. These are awful characters! I don't imagine Gabrielle and Louis' interactions will be all that much different, especially given their interactions will inevitably be underpinned by the fact that the only thing that connects the two of them is Lestat.

I dont know, having them get along feels a bit weak and disingenuous to me? Especially given how focused the writers are on keeping Louis as a lead, this really feels like such a logical area of deep and rich conflict that feels authentic for both characters, and could lead to some really meaty story for both Louis and Gabrielle (especially if they intend to keep Gabrielle around more than she is in the books). It's also territory that's both new for Louis, but taps into things he didn't reconcile with himself at the end of the s1 and s2 arcs. In that, he accepted himself as who he is, but he has a lot of unresolved issues still particularly around his mother and sister that I think is ripe fruit for picking story-wise. Plus it's pretty fun given Lestat got to know Florence - - I love the idea that their fathers will forever be these mysteries to one another, yet they'll both have to reconcile with the other's mother.

Steve's pinning his polaroids up on his wall when his new roommate walks in.

Steve's immediate thought is oh, I'm gonna hate this guy.

Shaggy hair, leather jacket, rings glinting off his fingers, electric guitar slung over his back. Hot as hell, but compared to Steve's polos and perfectly coiffed hair, they could not be more different.

The guy looks like he had the same thought. His shoulders slump as he takes in Steve's appearance.

A man comes in behind his roommate, toting a suitcase full of clothes. "Oh, are you Eddie's roommate?" he says to Steve, who shakes himself out of his thoughts.

"Yes, I am." he says politely. "I'm Steve Harrington."

The man sets down the suitcase. "Wayne Munson." he offers, shaking Steve's hand. "I'm Eddie's uncle."

He nudges Eddie forward, who lets out an almost inaudible groan. "Eddie." he says snippily, shaking Steve's hand.

This'll be a fun year, Steve thinks.

They don't talk. Steve didn't think he was going to be best friends with whoever he got saddled with, but he thought they could at least be civil to each other. Their room is split down the middle. Eddie's half is absolutely covered in posters and music and cutouts of magazines. Steve's is...almost as blank as his room back home.

He misses the shitheads.

No one can ever tell them that. They'll get even more insufferable.

Once or twice, when Steve comes back from a class, he'll catch Eddie peering at Steve's pictures, but he’ll jump away before Steve can call him out on it. It's awful. Steve misses Robin.

It takes him a horribly long amount of time to stop flinching awake at every little sound. He'd stored his nailbat under his bed, out of sight of Eddie, but every time someone yells in the hallway or shouts in the room next door, Steve startles awake, already grabbing his bat. Luckily, Eddie sleeps like the dead, because Steve's not sure he'd be able to explain the weapon without breaking his NDA.

It's three A.M., early November, when there's a knock on their door. Steve isn't asleep yet, so he stands and answers it.

Eight people pile in, talking in hushed whispers. They slam into him, knocking him over.

In the middle of the hug, Steve counts his kids. It's Dustin, nestled against his side, then Lucas, El, and Will under his arm, Max draped over his back, Erica leaning into his shoulder, and Mike on the very outskirts of the group. He pulls them all in tighter, and they all yelp and squawk at him.

"Let us go, Steve!" Erica says, annoyed.

"Nope." Steve says. "You came to find me at three in the morning, you can tolerate a hug."

"Shoo, move." another voice says, and all the kids part like the sea. Robin pushes her way through the group and hugs him tightly. "I don't know how you do it." she says to Steve. "Driving all these nerds around, it's exhausting."

He buries his face in her hair. "Missed you, Robbie." he mumbles.

She leans her head against his. "Missed you too, dingus."

Steve pulls back. "You got your license!"

"I did!" Robin jingles her keys happily.

Eddie sits up, and everyone in the room freezes. "Wha's happenin'?" he slurs sleepily. Then he registers all the people in the room. "Whoa, what the fuck?"

Steve stands up, brushing himself off. "I'm sorry, man, I didn't know they were coming." He shoots a glare at the group, who looks appropriately cowed. Minus Dustin. Steve can now see whose idea this was.

Eddie swings out of bed. "No, it's- wait, are these the kids from your polaroids?"

"Yeah," Steve says. "Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Will, El, Max, Erica, and this is my best friend Robin."

"Awww, you have polaroids of us?" Max teases over his shoulder. "That's sweet."

Steve reaches behind him and tussles her hair, shoving her gently. "Shut up, shithead."

"Your room is cool." Mike says. "Not Steve's side. But this part is cool!"

Steve glares at Mike, but Eddie grins big. "Thanks! I'm Eddie Munson." He shakes Mike's hand.

"Is that a DnD poster?" Will says. "That's amazing!"

"It certainly is!" Eddie says. "I used to DM back in high school. Played a bit too."

The nerdier section of the group reacts appropriately, oohing and ahhing, while Max and Erica just roll their eyes and nudge each other.

Steve hesitates. “I know these guys don’t really do anything on Saturday afternoons, and I think they’ve been wanting to start another campaign. Would you mind if they come up, maybe every weekend, and you can…” he doesn’t know enough about DnD “…run a game for them?”

Eddie looks amused. “You mean DM a campaign?”

“Yeah, that.” It’s an olive branch that Steve’s offering.

Eddie takes it. “Well, how can I turn that down? Sheepies of the Harrington flock, how would you like to join a new campaign?”

“I’ll keep the rest of you occupied,” Steve mutters as the guys (and El) start talking excitedly. “Max, Rob, you guys wanna find the closest arcade and set some new high scores?”

“Only one person will be setting high scores.” Max says, gesturing to herself, but she looks excited at the prospect.

Steve lets Eddie and the kids talk for a couple more minutes, then claps his hands. “Okay, it is three in the morning and I have a nine A.M. class tomorrow SO! I have enough blankets for all of you to sleep on the floor if Eddie doesn’t mind-“ Eddie shrugs. “Or Rob can drive you back home.”

Steve looks around and Robin is already in his bed, cuddled up like the blanket hog she is. “Okay, well, sleepover here it is then.”

He whisks out his ungodly amount of throw blankets (courtesy of Joyce’s knitting spree) and the kids get together in their usual movie-night-at-Steve’s cuddle position.

Will’s got his head on Mike’s shoulder, Lucas next to Mike, Max leaning on Lucas, El’s head in Max’s lap and her legs thrown over Dustin’s lap, and Erica with her back against Dustin’s shoulder. Sometimes Robin and Steve are wedged into the pile somewhere, but just as often they’re tangled up under six different blankets across the room, which is why Steve whispers “Scoot over, dumbass,” as he climbs into bed next to Robin.

Eddie watches them assume their positions with an expression of what could be awe on his face. “When I saw those pictures,” he whispered, “I thought they were like your siblings? Or maybe old pictures of your friends. I didn’t think you were a soccer mom.”

Steve glares at him, but unlike earlier in the year, there’s no heat behind it. “Hope you like coparenting then, because these guys need to be watched 24/7 or they’ll run off and start the apocalypse.”

Eddie laughs like it’s a joke. To him it is. He hops back into bed. “Goodnight, weird little family.”

The kids murmur a collective sleepy goodnight, and Steve shuts his eyes.

It’s the most relaxed he’s felt since he moved in.

Honey's relationships with the neighbors!

I forgot to do this on her introduction post but I decided to do this with Honey because I thought it would be interesting to explore how her relationships would be with the other neighbors and I'm going to explain how she feels about them because I mean yeah the arrows can only tell you so much that I just want to talk about them because I love talking about my OCs I also decided to put some quotes down that she'd probably say to the neighbors as well hehe

Honey and Julie: So honey is pretty neutral to Julie because there has been instances where Julie had crashed into her window her display case or has destroyed her display case while playing games with Frank She knows it's an accident which is why she usually forgives Julie but it's happened so often that sometimes it can stress her out a little bit when she can be wondering Oh goodness she's playing one of her games again hopefully she doesn't destroy my display case this time 😅

"dang nabbit Julie this is the fourth time this week you crash into my display case can't you play a game that doesn't fling you across the neighborhood I swear this girl's going to give me more gray hairs than an old dog"

Honey and Sally: their relationship is pretty complicated I mean Honey tolerates her but there's also a disdain for her as well because honey thinks she's over dramatic and takes things out of proportion She knows it's in her character but sometimes it's gets a little annoying for her and they butt heads quite often, I like to headcanon that in the last welcome home update with all the audios and the one where Sally is asking Poppy to make her a huge gigantic cake I like to headcanon that she went to honey first but honey refused because she thought it was a waste of cake especially if it was only going to be used on stage and not to care about the flavor and only the design which let them having an argument about it which is why She had to go to Poppy to get the cake and Sally just thinks honey is fake She thinks that she fakes being a southern belle that she isn't really sweet at all She just pretends to be for attention

"Sally, darlin' I ain't going to be wasting a huge cake just for you to vaunt it on stage and nobody's going to eat it now that's just a waste of cake And I ain't going to be wasting perfectly good sweets just to show it off for one of your shows I reckon you go somewhere else if you want a showpiece"

Honey and Poppy: I feel like they would be best friends because they both like to bake I feel like they would have tea parties together and bake with each other especially if honey has a day off from the bakery they just relax and have tea together and of course if Poppy's having one of her panic attacks I feel like she would try to calm her down be like

"now now Ms. Poppy, You can't make yourself, worried sick, Because just like dirt and stains, sugar worries and problems will wash away, now take some breathers before you give yourself an ulcer"

Honey and Eddie: originally when I first made her she was a cousin to Eddie like through their mothers they were related And I still view them as that as my head cannon As you can see they're designs are very slightly similar when you look at them but you can still tell that honey is her own character I've been think they would be very close Because of their work ethic and that they would talk in their countryisms like I like to think they're talk out in public speaking countries and when a random neighbor passes by they're just be so freaking confused about what the hell they were talking about, And they'll just be staring at them like what are they even talking about I also think honey would also make Eddie take breaks because she's worried he's going to pass out or something like and she would always deliver sweets and pastries to his office so he can have energy to keep going throughout the day and she'll always like remind him You better be relaxing or at least come into my bakery for a blonde roast with a bear claw (which is a type of pastry)

"Eddie, You better be taking brakes because if you're tuckered out you'll be just as useful as a sedan chair on a railway So you better rest up and eat them bear claws to give you some energy or come over to my bakery and I treat you to a blonde roast with whatever pastry you like because you deserve a break from all that galavanting around the neighborhood trying to get everyone's mail on time"

Honey and Home: personally honey thinks home is very creepy every time she delivers Wally a baked apple She feels like home is just staring into her soul She sometimes thinks she's maybe overreacting but she just can't shake the feeling that home is always watching her and home senses that too which is why they probably don't like her either but again she always just gets this strange feeling every time she's around home

"I swear every I deliver treats to Wally I just can't shake the feeling that Home is #;&(_#(_!#9&!)_" (that was meant to be a glitch)

Honey and Wally: Honey likes Wally well enough he always is with Barnaby when he comes to the shop and always willing to give Wally a cup of tea and a baked apple She finds it funny that Wally gets confused when he sees an apple pie or an apple turnover, fritter ect So she made it to the point where she makes him a baked apple because it's still in the Apple form just baked So while he won't be confused and can enjoy apple treats even if he doesn't necessarily eat them She does it to make him happy And Wally has made her some art pieces around the shop which she's very grateful for

"Wally how many times do I have to tell you when it comes to making Apple desserts I usually have to cut and peel the apples up so the other neighbors can easily eat them, but for you sugarcube you always get a baked apple So you can enjoy like everyone else in this bakery"

Honey and Howdy: So their relationship is very complicated originally honey was made to be a ship for Howdy in my roleplay which I still do ship them because It holds a special place in my heart and it's just a reminder of how I created Honey That's why it's so special I like to believe that it's all like love-hate between them because they are extremely competitive with each other because their businesses are literally right next to each other So they could be very competitive whether that is seeing how many customers they can serve in a certain amount of time limit or to see how much stock that they can sell Well in this case it's usually bread and pastries store-bought versus fresh bakery made and usually they are very competitive and sometimes they'll even call each other names honey calling him an uncouth con man And how do you making fun of her height or calling her an a northern belle (definition of northern bell: rough diamond. unsophisticated woman. boorish lady.) which usually sets her off but deep down I feel like they really like each other's work ethic because they both work hard and own businesses and they really care about each other no matter how competitive they can get and how much they insult each other and get underneath each other's skin Because none of them takes crap from another she's witty and willing to put Howdy's words back in his mouth

"well Mista Pillar, If I didn't know any better I would say you quite jealous of my shop the fact that people rather buy my baked goods over your overly processed bread and cookies from a factory Well it's not my fault that the neighbors have good taste Darlin' "

Honey and Barnaby: I like to think she like some enough but there are some points of Barnaby that she doesn't really care for for his personality at times she sometimes thinks that he's uncouth and quite rude with some of his jokes but he is a good customer and orders a lots of sweets and sometimes he is nice to talk to you when he's not being a complete jerk with his jokes

"Barn I know you like your jokes hun, but I run a reputable establishment and I will not take any uncouth jokes about my shop as payment I would hate to ban you Mr Beagle especially since you're one of my top customers"

Honey and Frank: I feel like they would be really good friends as well I feel like with Poppy they would all just bake together gossip and have tea and spill the tea like I don't know why I envision this I might even draw this of them just sitting around Poppy's table while baking and just having tea and just gossiping, I also have a feeling that Frank would come to Honey's place stressed out You know whether it's Barnaby the upset them or Howdy not letting them get groceries Because He didn't tell a good joke I have a feeling that honey would give him a friend's discount because she knows that Frank can have trouble with payment jokes and the type of payment that she gets from him is the tea the gossip so she'll be like gossiping and listening to his woes while he drinks a mocha with some custard that she made homemade for him because she knows He loves some custard

"Frank, sugar how many times am I going to tell you if You keep giving that dog so much attention He's just going to keep going You keep egging him on every reaction The more reactions you give him the more power he has over you Just take a deep breath and try to ignore him cuz once he realized that You won't even give him the time of day for a reaction he'll get bored and he'll leave and bother someone else keep that in mind shug"

So that's Honey's relationships with all the neighbors and how I would feel like she would talk to them I am planning on doing this with all my OCs I hope you enjoyed this I had a lot of fun making this and I actually laughed a lot while thinking about how honey would reply to some of the neighbors lol To be honest half of these I want to make comics for but I'm not a good comic maker but one of these days I got to illustrate these interactions lmao And I will say this again none of this stuff is canon this is just how I would think my OC would interact with all the other neighbors

Like, think about it. Puff, Buddy and Protect are all adorable ships on their own. You have the sweet, polite little nerd who loves all things creepy and the former gang member with a heart of gold who's terrified of the occult and also happens to be a nerd. You have the two lovable idiots who've been best friends for years, who know each other like they know themselves. You have the tough-looking guy who's actually a massive softie and the gentle, fragile-looking cornflake with all this hidden inner strength. So you put all three of them together and there's this whole sun, moon and Earth dynamic where their personalities complement each other in different ways and it just works!!!

Joey and Tristan would always be there for Ryo and remind him as many times as they need to that they want to be there for him - no more disappearing into the Isolation Pit for him if they can help it. I think he'd bring out their softer sides; partly because he's so heckin' adorable, but also because he wouldn't judge them for showing vulnerability.. In the past, they've both had problems with toxic masculinity and felt pressured to act tough, and while they've both come a long way by the time I usually imagine the Carryship setting sail, they probably still have some lingering Stuff. But Ryo's just... himself. I don't think he cares about whether or not he measures up to some made-up standard, and he wouldn't care if other people do either. I see him as a good, sympathetic listener - if anything's bothering them, they can talk to him about it, but he won't push them to talk if they're not ready. (You know how he spent most of the Téa vs. Mai Duel comforting Yugi? Yeah.) Based on some of his dialogue from his Duel Links event (and not just with Joey), I HC that he's really generous with compliments too. If he has something nice to say, he just says it, so there's this kind of funny, kind of interesting contrast between how sincerely he expresses his feelings for Joey and Tristan and how sweet they are to him, and how those two act towards each other: i.e. not too differently to how they did before they got together. They might be a bit more openly affectionate (mainly physically), but they're still Joey and Tristan, and they'll still bicker almost as much as always, 😂!

In between the bickering, Joey would be *vocal* about how much he loves them, and often cheesy as heck (Ryo finds it cute; Tristan "secretly" does too but covers it with a sprinkling of snark. Joey is not fooled in the slightest. Tristan doesn't really mean for him to be.) He's quick to cheer them up or offer encouragement when they're having a bad time, and I can see him encouraging Tristan to stand up to his dad about the factory situation and pursue his own dreams - they deserve to be happy and he'll fight anyone who says otherwise (not necessarily physically because he's matured since canon, but still!) He and Ryo would be so cute nerding out over games together, 🥰. He gets to enthusiastic about things (he threw himself right into that first Monster World session) and that would mean a lot to Ryo. (Tristan's willing to join in, but he's not as passionate about it as they are.) With his interest in model-building, I think he'd appreciate the work Ryo puts into his dioramas too. And they can both be Odd Cornflakes at times - Ryo might be the Weird One of the three, but Joey did call the original Duel Disk a "cup ramen thing", 🤣. I bet they'd occasionally wake Tristan up talking about whatever completely random thought popped into one of their heads at 2am, 😂.

Tristan will keep them grounded and be the voice of reason as usual... unless he's getting swept up in whatever Joey's doing, because let's face it, with these three, there *will* be moments when no one has the brain cell and it's just skittering around unattended. (Do brain cells skitter? Serious questions asked on my bloggo.) He's sometimes a bit confused by Ryo, but that doesn't bother him. He's accepted that there are some things he just won't get, so he's just going to concentrate on doing what he does best: loving and supporting Ryo unconditionally, as well as keeping a close eye on any occult stuff that's going on - *no one* needs to get possessed again. (Joey will watch from a safe distance, (read: "over Tristan's shoulder like when he found out that Shadi was a ghost", 😂), but no matter how terrified he is, he'll still be ready to take action if things start to go wrong.) If anything's wrong with either of them (and he always notices), he'll go out of his way to help, even if all he can do is listen, which happens more often than he'd like, especially with Ryo. It's not always easy, though, so they make sure to let him know they appreciate him, and be there for him when he needs it.

Overall: 200/10, can't believe no one named it before I did.

I think there's a lot of phannies in dteam circles actually because I keep seeing them!!

unfortunately I think the bigger issue with a server would be finding enough of them that can tolerate each other because they seem to be scattered across dtblr friend groups that don't get along.

I think your best shot might be approaching people you know are phannies and asking where they usually hang out, since assumedly they've all been existing in both circles for longer and can help :)

same i do see them relatively frequently but the difficult thing with tumblr is that the only way to engage directly with ppl other than dms is publicly (through rb tags or sending asks off anon).

you're right about the tolerating each other part, since coming here in the last year i've learned you're not going to get on with everyone just bc u like the same thing, but sometimes places can get kinda divided especially when they're quite small like ours. ive learned to coexist with nearly everyone online in the dtblr space even if we dont agree on every little thing, bc differences in opinion when it comes to little stuff don't bother me at all.

but in the phandom space, making me feel shitty for liking dream is where i draw the line, simply bc i dont have the energy for that shit when we have to put up with it enough from the wider internet. thing is there's no way of knowing they'll end up doing that before i interact with them so i kinda keep everyone there at an arm's length unless ik they're also a dream stan 💀

did they hurt? fuck yeah they did, a lot. my pain tolerance with needles (tattoos/piercings) is THE WORST so that could totally be a factor, but i'm certain that if you ask anyone about their nipple piercings they'll probably tell you the same. they hurt A LOT but!!!!!!

healing process mmm 🧐 the jewelry i got was titanium (i still have titanium btw but slightly larger), it's THE best material you could probably choose for any piercing, it makes the healing process way shorter and it's widely tolerated by...almost every body, even the most sensitive and/or allergic one.

i was told by my piercer that i couldn't sleep on my stomach for AT LEAST a month, which was torture lmao but they healed super fast (everything i've gotten whether that was tattoos or piercings has always healed in just a few days 😌)

by the next day my nipples were no longer IN PAIN but they were sore and i could feel the material of my clothes which was weird. i haven't worn bras in years, and the weight of my boobs did not affect the pain of the piercings at all.

i've always had super sensitive nipples and that hasn't changed, if anything i think they're more sensitive now. which i don't always love tbh. they're tender and i try not to be too rough with them because it hurts and not in a pleasurable way 🥴

Hmm. So obviously House would be our Hawkeye. We all know House would absolutely utilize his injury to avoid doing something he doesn't want to. So, if we wanted to make this interesting-- what if he instead fakes being totally fine at his draft physical so they'll send him. When he arrives at his MASH unit, he's using a cane and everything. He's convinced everyone that he's such a good doctor, they sent him to war with a bum leg anyway. Only Cuddy initially clocks that that's absolutely not true. Why does he want to go to Korea? Because he wants to help. He would never tell anyone this, but House does really care about his patients. Maybe he's in a low place and impulsively decides to go to Korea. I think his addiction would be morphine? I tried looking up what opiates were used in the early 50's and that's my best guess.

That makes Wilson our BJ! And yeah, sorry, he's a BJ. I think Hawkeye and BJ's relationship bears a lot of resemblance to House and Wilson's-- notably, that it's painful. "I am pure of heart and insane and you are deceptively selfish but 'a nice guy' and we are best friends and we love each other and we hate each other." Etc etc. Wilson is already in a sore spot in his marriage when he gets drafted to go to Korea. He very much seems like the "family man" type, but he's either misremembering the marriage or convinced that the war puts a pause on all of its problems. And he's convincing. He doesn't look twice at any of the nurses, doesn't cheat on his wife with them. While he's cordial and pleasant, he initially tries keeping most people at arms length. But he can't help but get wrapped up in whatever House is up to, and it's maybe a bit like how BJ slowly changes the longer he's around.

I don't think women were CO'S but I don't think we really have any choice but to make Cuddy the CO. It's a MASH au. It'll live. She doesn't typically have a high tolerance for subordinate bullshit but House is clearly the reason why their recovery numbers are so high, so she's begrudgingly lenient with him.

I could see Cameron being kind of similar to houlihan, in that she is capable of such immense compassion. Cameron is noticably softer than her coworkers. She gets emotionally involved, etc. House continually tells her that she needs to toughen up because this is war, but that also means that she's incredibly supportive when it's been 24 hours of surgery and everything is kind of falling apart.

so I know I haven't mainly talked much about this again but now that it's 2023, I understand now about what will's sexuality is especially due to Noah's coming out story, I know that if he didn't play will he would still be closested so i'm just going to be completely honest with you guys but, I'm sorry if I sounded rude or anything about what i said last year about what I think should happen, I just know already as an asexual person that I don't really go too big on the ships as much as I used to, I don't really like the ship wars much still like always so if ur about to debate in the comments whatever ship should be endgame, please leave, i still think that byler and mileven are both very great ships depending on what people think if they like either one or them or both, But yeah I mean i'm asexual so i don't technically have much of a opinion on the ships of stranger things anymore.

When it comes to Will and his sexuality, I feel like it's mindboggling to think about how they'll play that out in season 5, I obviously know he's into guys, you don't have to be like "I told you so and you didn't listen" I know from the very start, I only thought about Will as unlabeled, questioning at that time, and you know what? It's okay to have headcanons, it's okay to headcanon Will being asexually gay, which i'm sure it's fine for a gay man to not have sexual feelings to their male partner so that's what I think when it comes to Will, I know he's gay but I feel like he may be asexual too because of probably the lack of wanting to make out with someone or just sexual attention, more to be romantically in love with boys or Mike, He wouldn't he aromantic because that would mean he doesn't like romantic attention but I do think that he asexual gay, and Yes I know it's completely canon that he's gay and i'm not going to say anything else about that anymore but headcanons work in a way that you're fine with it.

But mostly in general, knowing that Will is the center point of season 5, I mostly hope that we see more about his connection still with the upside down and why he was chosen in the first place knowing that season 5 will go full circle at this point, I don't care about what ships end up endgame, i'm happy with whatever happens, I still just think we should all stop fighting on whatever ship happens or not because i'm still sick and tired about the fighting. If your wondering what I ship in general at this point, I feel like I don't ship much anymore, I do like Mileven and Byler on its own but I don't fight with people saying which do I think is the best ship, the ships i do care mostly about is Jancy, Jopper and Lumax but I don't tend to really talk about ships anymore because I think it's kind of dumb to point out the obvious and hate on each other for people's opinions on whatever they ship, I think we should all still just relax and be patient about season 5 because i'm sure we won't get it till hopefully 2025 due to the strike, But I do know that they're currently setting up the season 5 set so that's exciting.

And one last thing, I did say in my past rants that yes season 5 will be most likely post apocalyptic so I feel like we mostly need to still worry about if the characters will survive or not, we shouldn't worry about what ship will be endgame, we should worry about the conditions of the characters on who's going to live and whos going to die, I only care much about the fact that Hawkins is clearly in danger so I don't want to see anymore arguments about the ships because the show isn't always about love and romance, it's a sci fi horror show, it's not technically a huge romance show anyways.

About the Ship Wars

I honestly really hate that we all still have to deal with ship wars, it really doesn't matter if you like byler or mileven, it's just dumb to see people judge each other for having their own opinion if they like byler or mileven or even both if that's even possible. I don't think it matters what ship even ends up endgame, i'm fine with either one of them that happens, i'm just not fine about the ship wars we all have to deal with, the show isn't always about love and romance even if its in the show and script, theres monsters, theres alternate dimensions, also some of the characters we all love will end up dying too which that's not really something to be happy about but we honestly don't have to fight over fictional characters and the ships we know about. I'm fine with whatever happens but I just hate how people fight over what ship they like. I do honestly agree that Mike might just be a confused bisexual boy who doesn't know if he likes will or el, so if that even happens by the end of season 4 then at least that happens. Question about your DP AU but what are the main trio's families like? I think you've talked about Jack and Maddie a few times, but not in depth. Anything different between Sam and Tucker's parents? How much do the parents know about each other or what their kids are up to?

oof this topic is hard cause its been a long time since i watched the actual show (minus the two eps i watched to answer asks) and well, there really isn't a ton to work with regarding Tucker's Family. they seem nice. that's all we got. there's not even a "personality" section on their wiki page.

in the fandom, oddly enough, there's only one fic that comes to mind rn that had tucker's parents be semi-important (or at least, relevant) i can't remember the name rn but its like, "nobody knows au, tucker is a reluctant psychic who has to find a serial killer AU" which was a banger. i don't have a lot to go off of, so in all honesty I'm likely just going to make shit up to make things more interesting.

What we DO know is that Danny and Tucker were "best friends since forever" so, here they are as besties from like, kindergarten. We can easily assume Maurice and Angela (Tucker's parents) don't mind the Fenton's antics, or at the very least tolerate it enough to allow Tucker to be exposed to their strangeness.

Meanwhile Sam would be going to some Rich Kid school. To up the ante, my take has Sam do something so scandalous and horrifying that this rich family moves from New York to a small town in Minnesota.

Sam isn't actually proud of it, but plays it off as if they are. cause like, yeah, their parents are never going to let them live it down. which is a success. We never learn what the hell happened, it's Sam's Noodle Incident.

Anyway to lay low from the shame of the event, they move to Ida's hometown (Sam's grandma) and it's Sam's punishment. They're "grounded for life."

To Jeremy and Pam's ignorance (Sam's parents) Sam is HAPPY to be away from the big schools and high end life. Not that they'll let them know that, like, ever.

I have no idea if this is canon or fanon but there's the idea that Jeremy and Pam are too busy and negligent to be aware of what's going on in Sam's life. And as long as Sam isn't repeating the New York Incident, Sam is probably fine to do as they please. They know now to keep a low profile.

Jeremy and Pam hate the local Fentons, first for being Weirdos and then later for bringing in the ghosts. (Which honestly, like, fair...) Poor Danny and Jazz get lumped in, seen as bad kids despite just Existing within the family.

The Only Normal Ones (tm)

For contrast, Tucker's family is middle class and very loving and attentive parents. Not helicopter level, but more than the average parent. Maurice and Angela keep track of Tucker's social media and worry about him -especially once the ghosts come out.

i won't go too into too much detail since i might make that fic, but I do want to give Tucker's family more importance and screen time. I won't be saying how but it'll be a nice development.

Danny's family is the same as they are in canon on a surface level. Some details are changed, but we get a similar result.

So for context: pre-portal ghost sightings are rare and people are quick to either see it as: superstition, a hoax, or misunderstanding of natural phenomena. The Fentons believe there's a natural explanation -until some shared childhood experience throws them into believing the paranormal. But they hate how ghosts are seen as gimmicky. They believe in the REAL science.

They want to use Math and Physics to explain the supernatural. They believe in a different dimension with different laws of nature, and they're going to uncover it! And obviously, they do with the Portal.

They study it with the help of Vlad's funding (who's relationship is different in this AU -he's still an evil bitch as always tho) they create the portal and study it alongside Vlad's team. (This is my work around from keeping the Fentons away from the GUI) Their personal bias against ghosts is something more "neutral" rather than "evil."

Personally I think misguided science is more interesting than outright witch-hunting styled ghost hating. the core conflict is the same, but it makes the parents more rational and grounded to science. This is a personal preference, each have their strengths. Regardless they've got big egos and jumping into a literal Unknown field of science that has it's own new physics, of course they're going to fail and misunderstand things. (science is failure just written down or however that saying goes)

i lost track of what this post was supposed to be about but i think opal would simply tip the scales of the bells hells in a slightly more chaotic direction and, depending on the day, imogen might actually be a little happy about that. because they all do it with the awareness that if it goes terribly wrong they are capable of getting out of it some other way, and if it goes terribly well then it's Legendary and So Much Fucking Fun, and imogen hasn't had that much fun in a very long time. it's learning how to take risks bc if you fall you will be caught by a cushion that was very lovingly crafted by your weird but extremely dedicated and loyal friends

A3! Drinking Headcanons! Pt. 1 Spring and Summer Troupe (Another Long one! TW:Alcohol and underage drinking)

🌸Spring troupe🌸

Sakuya Sakuma: Definitely curious about drinking, it looks like everyone having a fun time together. Everyone at Mankai's usually having a fun time together so he's curious how drinking changes that. Hasn't tried alcohol before, wants to wait till he's old enough. Probably would like with Rum and cokes or beer.

Citron: Loves drinking socially, doesn't drink alone. Enjoys going to clubs, doing karaoke, and having playing drinking games. A very hungry drunk, once ate an entire platter of fried shrimp. Some how doesn't get hungover. Has offered the younger members alcohol before because he forgot the drinking age in Japan. Will drink anything, loves sake and cocktails.

Chikage Utsuki: A casual drinker, no one has every seen him completely wasted nor does he ever seem to be hungover the morning after. He'll have the occasional drink by himself after work or on game night with the other adults. He likes to keep his wits about him. Drinks whiskey, Fireball, things like that.

Tsuzuru Minagi: Definitely has tried alcohol, despite not being old enough. His older brothers have slipped him a beer or two when their parents weren't around. Would never drink around the younger members or his younger brothers eve if he was old enough to drink, idk something about their innocent beady little eyes staring at him, it makes him feel off. Would mainly drink cheaper thing like beer, or 99 cent banana schnapps. Tries to hide his hangover the best he can but it's hard when he can't really walk straight and the room is spinning.

Itaru Chigisaki: Rarely drinks, drinking hinders his gaming skills. Will order one beer when out with his coworkers along with a glass of water.

"Wow! Itaru you take care of yourself so well!" They'll Say,

"Heh. Yeah I'm really into to selfcare and stuff." He'll respond like a liar.

After that he'll order drinks that sound like they have alcohol, like an Arnold Palmer or a St. Clements. Doesn't get a hangover since he doesn't really drink, probably has a low alcohol tolerance too.

Masumi Usui: Wants to drink with you soo badly, he's counting the days you and him can have a romantic drink by the sunset together. He had a glass in his room that you'd drank from and left lipstick marks on, It was his prized possession until Tsuzuru cleaned the room and took the cup to be cleaned. "And to think I was starting to like you." "Masumi that cup was attracting ants." Will drink anything you drink. Mostly likely when he is able to drink he'll over do it and you'll have to carry him back to the apartment. He'll wake up with an awful hangover in the morning but will be elated if you nurse him back to health.

☀️Summer Troupe☀️

Tenma Sumeragi: This is a hard one, on one hand he sees drinking as a possible way to relax and bond with his troupe(in the future), but also drinking can impair your judgement and he already has a terrible sense of direction. He's underaged so the media would have a field day if he was caught drinking. Once he was old enough he'd probably drink top self alcohol. Would be an a moody drunk, "Aw, I love you guys! You're the best groups of friends a guy could have." "Aw thanks Tenten!" "Fuck off blondie." (Advice. If your gonna drink cocktails or whatever don't buy the most expensive liquor, cocktails are made so you don't taste the alcohol. Save your money.) A lLightweight.

Muku Sakisaka: Wants to drink, the adult members of Mankai always seem to have a great time drinking with each other. He's curious what really goes on when adults go out drinking, is it anything like manga? Drunk confessions that neither of you would remember? Having a one night stand with your cute coworker and having to pretend like nothing happens? Drunken Kabedons??? Once he's old enough to drink he'll go for the sweeter drinks that taste like candy, and anything that's pink. Has an average alcohol tolerance, as a drunk he becomes clumsy, like that person who throws a drink back and then slams it back onto the counter. He tends to forget his own strength when drinking.

Yuki Rurikawa: Doesn't care much for drinking or the idea of being drunk, mainly wants to take pictures of pretty cocktails that match his outfit, regardless if they taste good. If he's drunk take away his wallet because he's a drunk spender, it's funny because drunk Yuki will buy something he thinks sober Yuki will love and when it arrives sober Yuki will question his sanity because he has no memory of buying things. "Drunk me is an asshole."

Misumi Ikaruga: The drunk that needs a babysitter, a sober babysitter. You already know he likes any drinks in a glass that are shaped like a triangle, or come with fruit that's shaped like a triangle. no preference for alcohol as long as he get his triangle. You know what else can be vaguely triangle shaped, the dish behind the bar that holds fruits shaped like like triangles. Yep, Drunk Misumi has stick fingers, you'd think he's a pro thief at how easily he slips things into his projects. He doesn't mean any harm to anyone, his brain is just like "Shiny!" and puts it in his pockets.

Kazunari Miyoshi: King of drunks, loves party punches that are just a jumble of alcohol, juice, and candy. Also the King of dealing with hangovers, once the youths of the summer troupe are able to drink he'll take a step back and take care of them while their drink and then help nurse any hangovers. Actually a great guy to drink with, he's the designated driver? he won't touch a drop of alcohol. Need him to watch your drink he'll protect it his life. When he's the one drinking he'll get these "great" ideas for art project and scribble them down. Once he's sober he'll look at these ideas and their just scribbles that a kindergartener could do.

Kumon Hyodo: Not many health benefit to drinking, bitter red wine is said to be good for you but it's bitter...and expensive. Would have the occasional beer with his bro or his troupe mates but never enough to blackout.

Since we're discussing mm/obey me crossover... Your thoughts on Saeran's possible relationship with Simeon? I could honestly see them becoming friends overtime and enjoying each other's company in peaceful silence :) Simeon is a very understanding and empathetic person, so I wonder how their relationship would progress, including possible challenges they'll have to overcome!

Oh, I didn't think about that one. Saeran's got a complicated history with religion and it's partially why I suggested that he would be rather terse in speaking with Luke. He is standoffish when it comes to many people telling him how to feel or what to do regarding his soul, and it harkens back to what he went through because of Rika. You know in the game how Luke can be, right?

He's a kid, bright-eyed, and believes in what he's doing, which leads to him often telling the player to avoid demons. You can see Saeran staring at him, a tired expression on his face with the awareness that his soul is probably damned, trying his best not to tell this kid he's too late to nag him. In some ways, Saeran can say that if he'd been much younger, he might've had the patience to deal with a brat.

He doesn't have that ability now. When Luke isn't trying to nag him to stay safe and come live at Purgatory Hall, Saeran doesn't mind him a bit of Luke's nonsense. The kid is clearly aspiring to learn how to be a better baker, and you know that Saeran is talented at making sweets. I can see him bonding with Luke that way, alongside Barbatos, even, in peace and quiet.

There's something nice about that idea because you've got Barbatos, who has seen every horror in time, and Saeran, who has been a damn demon walking among humans, and this bright-eyed angel looking at them like they're so cool. I think Luke will look up to Saeran like a big brother one of these days, but that'll only come after Saeran is not as stiff and offputting.

"Listen here, you should avoid all those demons at whatever cost!" Luke chimed in, a fiery look in his eyes even though his body was trembling like a scared puppy. "They'll eat you up and spit you out for breakfast!" Saeran could've told the brat that he had met scarier monsters on Earth, but it was obvious this angel was committed to his job that said he had to protect humanity. With a sigh against his lips, all he offered was a blunt nod. "Yeah, yeah. Like I haven't heard that one before, kid. Thanks." Luke clearly was in doubt if Saeran was being genuine or not, but he didn't seem to mind. He nodded again and ran off before any of the demons in the classroom could gobble him up. Saeran had to wonder why they let a kid come from the Celestial Realm to the Devildom college. Did they want him to piss himself?

Luke sort of gets a tolerance pass because he's a kid. The rest of the cast is damn adults and Saeran doesn't have patience for them at all with the way they tell him what to do and how to do it. He hates that so much. They think they can order him around because they're this group of otherworldly beings that stand stronger than him. You know he doesn't like that. It feels patronizing and insulting until he's spent more time with them.

But... you know at the same time, Simeon and Luke tend to be a place of security for the Obey Me MC. Like, if there's a demon issue that they can't deal with, they can ask to come to Purgatory Hall to stay for a bit and they'll be right as rain. Saeran isn't likely to reach out or ask for help from them, but it's nice that the offer stands since Saeran has never had a safe place in his life... and that's likely why he doesn't know how to ask for that, or why he's got too much pride to say something about it.

He survived this long, you know?

In the case of Simeon, I guess we have to think about how Simeon acts around others. He may be understanding and empathetic, but he's got a short-fuse and there's a reason why his sin attribute is a wrathful one. He would be able to sense that feeling inside of Saeran and think that he can extend a hand. Unlike Luke, Simeon has some awareness that Saeran only wants help if he asks. He won't give any advice unsolicited unless it's life or death.

And, see, that would be nice for Saeran who has to constantly deal with the Avatars of Sin having breakdowns and arguments every day of the week. He's got enough problems, and he can barely handle his own nightmares. Simeon would offer him a place to "study" where he can be in peace and quiet long enough to clear his thoughts. I'm not sure that Simeon and Saeran even talk that much... I think that they have this quiet and non-verbal understanding about boundaries that they abide by.

Simeon doesn't pry or ask questions, and Saeran gives Simeon an excuse to avoid Solomon's turn at cooking duty. Sorry, Luke, you're going to have to flee to Barbatos tonight so Solomon doesn't poison either one of you. Mutual benefit. I think it'd be a while before Saeran would consider them friends, but I do think their bond starts from a place of "yeah, we can be each other's excuse, whatever."

I think Simeon might be the one that Saeran comes to talk to after the events of Lesson 16, though... if he talks to anyone... maybe that just has something to do with his own religious trauma or the fact that Saeran knows that Simeon is the only one that won't corner him about this. I'm not sure... but it's hard to put their bond into words as it's... something neither of them label.

Simeon didn't say anything as Saeran took a set across from him at the table. It was nice that way. They didn't have to talk and they didn't have to sort through the details of whatever was going on in the Devildom. They sat there reading and writing the things they had to do for their appropriate classes instead of gossiping. This was better than being trapped in the House of Lamentation. Saeran kept his eyes trained on his book, but his mind was more or less haunted by the fight he had wandered away from. As if the angel could sense the unrest, he merely floated out his magic, the kind that could quell fears and anger, and gave Saeran a chance to breath. It was the only magic Saeran was okay was.
