This is probably the 20th time I've written this out (one for every day really) but. I know I said that by the end of the month I'd probably remake the blog, however

I think I'm putting the blog on an indefinite hiatus.

I know, that's the sentence that's said right before a blog ceases to exist forever, but something here just isn't clicking anymore. I'm not enjoying my time, despite my absolute best efforts. That something that made me enjoy my time here is gone and I can't replicate it just by brute forcing it anymore.

Maybe someday I'll be back, I do love this place, my characters, y'all's characters, etc. Though, for now, I think I need to stop lying to myself that I can just keep doing new things to suddenly bring back my interest for this place. It's not going to happen.

Thank y'all for all the fun we've had and, hey, maybe I'll be back sooner rather than later, maybe in a month, a week, etc. I could back down from this before the end of the week even. I just needed to put it out there that I think I'm burnt out here.

Just read the update and I’ll go more in depth in my ao3 comment after my second read but OHMYGOD IM SO IN LOVE the team taking her out to eat after her acceptance to uni was so sweet I love them so much. Tendo knowing when to call her with his guess magic or whatever was cute. Goshiki was a cutie as usual but his little speech was just adorable.

Now my main event. The loml. My absolute sweetest pookie. My ushiwaka. I’m so happy they got their little moment. The way they could communicate with their double meanings was so sweet.

I’m so excited for the last chapter but it’s gonna be so bittersweet. I can’t believe it’s almost over and that I’ve been here since practically the beginning

i know that no one like,, actively gives a shit about this but it's important to me for people to know so im going to speak my truth

i have like 5?? wips at the moment. two of these i am actively working on while the other three are just sort of microwaving around in my google docs/mind. i will get to them later.

i also have a life outside of this blog, obviously. because of this, i write when i can, but i do also leave some free time for myself where i can just sit, stare at a screen, and not think while watching my show

i am still crazy obsessed with dps. it's like a hyperfixation that is poking the back of my mind constantly. there is not a single day that goes by where i don't think about it. i am excited for fall to start...starting so i can rewatch the movie and get another wave of excitability about dps.

the only way that i can engage with this hyperfixation are reading fics (which there aren't too many of), and writing my own. writing my own is slow going because of the events in my life.

i just needed to say that i know im not posting nearly as often as i used to. but that's because i am working on bigger projects in my free time, amidst balancing personal stuff, not because my interest in dps is gone.

Well.... A few months back, someone asked to IZ about their thoughts on video edits of the game (this and this) and due to her responses, I wanna respect that so I have the video privated. (Then again, it's an old vid so I didn't expect anyone to notice it ueue)

But still, I appreciate that you liked the Galahad edit. It's just fits Witch's Heart too well and that's the slightest way to show my love for that series. (;w;)
