PRO TIP: If you’re going to a doctor’s appointment, or ANY appointment for that matter, please do not sit in the waiting room next to a bathroom for 15+ minutes, and only ask to go to bathroom RIGHT as you’re being brought back for your appointment. 🙃

#this is my biggest pet peeve i stg #i get it bathroom urges strike without warning #but you do REALLY have to wait until the most inconvenient time possible to announce that you need to go???#this is especially infuriating if you’re already late #like yes you’re already 10 minutes late but by all means go spend another 10 minutes in the bathroom not like we’ve got shit to do here 🙃#I’ve had doctors flat out tell patients who do this:#“’look you can either go to the bathroom now or have your appointment but you’re not getting both.’#and people will STILL choose to go to the bathroom and then get pissed when the doctor is true to their word and makes them reschedule #i get it appointments are really hard to get #but we are NOT time wizards!#if you’re 30 minutes late we can’t magically create an extra 30 minutes in a day to put you in #seeing someone late often results in the schedule getting completely fucked #and the. suddenly we’re behind for the rest of the day #it punishes us and the people who actually came on time

#wizard #digital art #This is a bit more of 'my take on the concept' than fan art of the OG post but here me out...Tiny Water Cone Wizards.#They are similar to a hermit crab and have to swap out hats as they grow larger.#They are a eusocial species with a queen who both delivers more cones and also gives birth to more wizards.#So remember! Next time you see a tower of water cones; Do not disturb them! That is a nest and she is trying to nurse her young!#Thank you again to stackedbirds for sending me incredible wizard posts.#While their discarded hats may seem like a good one-time-use recepticle for water - please recycle them!#Wizard Juveniles rely on the discarded cones as part of their development!#The office wizard ecosystem is a very delicate balance and we are losing so many species each year to invasive innovations.#(Thank you again to Stackedbirds for fueling my love for wizardposts!)

It will forever be hilarious to me that Disney wanted so fucking bad to make a Wicked movie — but couldn't get the rights from Universal — that they literally spent billions upon billions of dollars making SEVEN different films (and a whole season of television; not even including their sequels and spinoffs) more than one of which they even got Idina and Kristen to be in based on the stripped-down premise of "what if the Stock Female Antagonist™ was secretly the Misunderstood Angsty Girlboss Heroine™ all along?" (because Disney execs don't actually care about Wicked, they just saw Green, said "hey! if we can't get the real thing, why not use Our Own (and/or Public Domain) characters?" and simply followed the Marketing Department Road all the way to the bank).

Less funny is the fact they were so successful at it — regardless of the merits (or lack thereof) of any of those projects — that it ended up getting the production of the actual Wicked movie delayed by more than a decade (because it would ironically have looked like a copycat and probably faded into the background if it had come out back when Disney was pumping out knockoffs every fucking year).

#seriously though #wicked lived in bob iger's head rent free #like its insane the lengths they went to just to ride its coat tails #they made so much content that nobody thinks of them as brazen attempts to emulate wicked anymore #frozen / into the woods / oz the great and powerful / maleficent / cruella / descendants / once upon a time / etc.#and this isnt even speculation #the production teams have been open about this from the beginning #disney couldn't acquire wicked so they just used its keywords as a template for mass producing “original” projects #some of which went on to become among the most successful films ever made #like they really said “okay what if we just got idina menzel and hired a Broadway composer to give her a Defying Gravity” AND IT WORKED #wicked #wicked movie #disney #gelphie #elphaba x glinda #elphaba thropp #glinda upland #glinda x elphaba #elphaba #glinda #wizard of oz #the wizard of oz

never gonna get tired of Aabria and Brennan playing dnd together, they know each other so well, they are so fun, they're clearly having so much fun ''does Evan have a grenade??'' ''idk will you let me? :)'', ''you know what I'm gonna ask'' ''yeah I throw myself in front of Sam, absolutely'', ''I'll give it to you, if you detach your shadow'' ''.....(pause, clearly aware that with Aabria as a dm, this will have Consequences) yeah I do it, I want to get all of them'', ''is my shadow back with us?'' ''no :)'' ''okay. (concerning)''

And that's just this episode, but there's so many little moments in all of their campaigns that really read as ''I will fuck you up <3'' ''I know and I am walking into it with open eyes <3'' from both of them, never hold any punches, because they know the other one doesn't want them to, just. Inflicting emotional damage on each other for funsies is a love language I guess?

“share” - Jegulus microfic - @into-the-jeggyverse - 376 words

James is just about to leave Regulus’ flat, but Regulus stops him just as he reaches the front door. “Wait. What’s in that bag?” Regulus asks when James picks up a duffle bag that Regulus hadn’t noticed sitting by the door.

“Nothing.” James answers awkwardly as he tries, and fails, to hide the large duffel bag behind his back.

“James...?” Regulus says slowly as he walks over to him. Regulus takes the bag from James and gasps when he opens it. “My sweatshirts!” He yelps. “Why are you stealing all my sweatshirts?”

“Your sweatshirts?”

“Fine, our sweatshirts.” Regulus corrects himself and James raises an eyebrow. “They’re not our sweatshirts?” Regulus asks with a little pout. “We share them so doesn’t that make them ours?”

James takes the bag from Regulus and puts it on the floor so he can wrap his arms around Regulus’ waist. “Sharing implies that we both get to wear them, love. You steal them, and I don’t see them again until I run out and I have to sneak in here and take them all back. Then we start the whole process over again.”

Regulus blinks at James a few times. “You…? But I…?” Regulus fumble the huffs. “How long have you been doing that?”

“How long have we been dating?” James smiles sweetly.

Regulus gives James another small huff with a little pout but after a moment something flashes across Regulus’ eyes and he narrows them at James.

“Do you wear them when you take them back?” Regulus asks.

“Yeah…?”

“So, we both wear them. Doesn’t that imply that we share them?” Regulus asks with a little smirk.

“I… But you…” James fumbles his words then huffs. “I guess we share the sweatshirts.” He says with a resigned sigh.

“Our sweatshirts.” Regulus corrects him.

“Our sweatshirts.” James agrees with a fond eye roll. He leans in to give Regulus a quick kiss before he picks up the bag.

“Wait.” Regulus puts his hand on James’ to stop him. “Can I just keep one of them?” He asks in a shy voice as his cheeks turn a lovely shade of pink. “I like to umm… sometimes I…”

James smiles and leans in for another kiss. “I always leave you the one you keep under your pillow.” James whispers.
