TADC Episode 4 Predictions

I made these November 9th and shared them on Instagram, they're slighly outdated post-trailer, but I thought I would post them here anyways :D I'll put in orange any new thoughts I had as of the trailer today (btw I had a hunch that this would be the Spudsy's episode due to the whole TADC café thing). I'll also put my new predictions at the bottom:

Caine makes an adventure where the humans have to work at “Spudsy’s” and serve NPC customers (seems I got this one right)

Puts Gangle in the “manager” position (this one too)

Zooble decides to join the adventure for once, perhaps? My thoughts are maybe this is because Zooble is closest to Gangle in the circus, and Gangle wants some moral support from Zooble during this adventure because of her big role, and they oblige (Zooble is part of the adventure and it seems Gangle interacts with them in one of the scenes... so! This might be right! Abstragedy shippers rejoice!)

But yeah I really do have a hunch that they have a good friendship and we will see that in this episode

Gangle uses her power as manager to give Jax the worst possible tasks/jobs, Zooble is very entertained by this and eggs it on, thus Gangle gets a bit carried away (I still think this might happen lol)

Jax snaps and goes to tell Ragatha about the “figurine thing” (nothing about the trailer shows this coming up, but we shall see)

My theory is this is something harmless albeit a bit Tumblr-coded LOLL she probably has mini figures of all the circus members and role-plays scenarios with them, like ships, or her whacking Jax or something, and one time Jax walked in on it and used it as blackmail

I feel like maybe Jax and Ragatha will get into an argument during this episode as a sort of prelude to their two consecutive episodes–I think their characters are heavily linked to one another and we will get more foreshadowing of that in ep. 4 (I was talking about a more serious argument, this might happen, but it seems the episode is very Gangle centric so I might be wrong)

Zooble apologizes to Gangle at the end of the episode, for getting caught up with harassing Jax vs. actually being good moral support, Gangle forgives them of course

Updated Predictions:

Gangle seems to have a very different personality in this episode. She also seems to go through a little bit of an emotional crisis. I have always wondered if Gangle is some type of neurodivergent (numerous possibilities here from social anxiety, to long term depression, to autism, etc., I definitely feel there's something there) and may be "masking" her true self because she's scared to open up, especially because of Jax. That's why she's so nervous without the comedy mask, it's like a security blanket to her, and it also may be why Caine gave her a new mask, trying to help but instead fuelling her issues with self image and giving her a toxic positivity issue.

Adding onto that, I think that's why we may see her having a mental break during the episode, and perhaps confiding in Zooble about it, feeling like a failure or like no one cares about her or would like the real her. Zooble, feeling out of place themself, would definitely be the type of person to comfort Gangle, if in a more calm and pragmatic way.

I noticed Gangle getting into a possible argument with Ragatha, of all people, in the trailer. I also think Ragatha has a sort of fake positivity to her, not in the manipulative sense, but in the people-pleasing sense, and the denial sense. She is trying to cope by being as upbeat as she can but that can only go so far. We can see her suffering with burnout, and Gangle definitely is not helping. I think that Gangle will be a sort of foil for Ragatha in this episode, showing her that being too positive and chipper can cause other people around you to feel worse, not better.

Caine has a "suggestion box" in the trailer, and it seems like it's filled to the brim. I think, as a B-plot, we will see Caine have a bit of his own identity crisis, stressing over the fact that there's so many things the digital circus members want to be done differently by them, and he'll be in a frenzy to figure out how to fix it. Definitely some good potential for his development here!

Finally, I think we will get some more insight into Zooble in this episode, through the lens of Gangle. I already discussed this a little, but I feel like it's implied that they're friends in the trailer (although I have an abstragedy bias, so I could be wrong). I think Zooble may open up more about their identity and insecurities in an attempt to help Gangle work through hers.

WIBTA if I gently suggested to my stepmother to get my stepbrother screened for autism?

Im extremely torn. I want to help my stepbrother but I don’t want to invade his privacy.

I have a stepbrother who has been struggling with mental health for a long time. He’s been diagnosed with ADHD. His stepmother talks to me about his issues relatively often due to me having multiple mental illnesses, so she sees my advice and sharing my experiences as helpful. She’s incredibly accepting, open, and not prejudiced about mental illness, but she is greatly concerned about him.

Me, my partner, and my sister (who is a doctor) are all pretty sure he’s autistic. He has a lot of trouble controlling the volume of his voice, says ‘inappropriate’ things, has intense interests, trouble with motivation, etc.

i want him to get the right help and accommodations, and i can see the adhd meds are not helping. should i bring it up to her as a possibility, or stay out of it? or should i maybe just suggest he gets re-screened in general? tangentially, is his mom invading his privacy by talking about his mental health to me?

like i said, im torn. i really don’t want to be TA. pls help tumblr!!

I previously had a couple of blogs but I decided to delete them because I got overwhelmed and bored of them. However, I knew I was gonna miss having a Tumblr so I decided to remake one into a blog where I just do whatever I want.

So, due to some unfortunate events, i am currently unemployed and struggling financially. I can't pay rent and due to mental illness, including cptsd, i am not currently able to get a job. As of right now, i am lucky enough to get to stay with a friend of a friend for free until i can start paying rent, the savings i have are just enough to keep me fed for a few months, tops. I hate to bring this to my own safe space, but the reality of the situation is that i need help. If you can and are interested, then please join my patreon. I post wips, abandoned projects, and occasional writing, you also get to suggest my next piece or a prompt (although i can't promise that it'll catch my eye!), if I'm not sure what to draw next i might make a post and let you help me decide, you can make requests but I'm very driven by what personally interests me when i draw, basically I'm not able to draw something that i don't enjoy drawing. I'm new to Tumblr ( I have only had it since the summer of 2023 ish). So bear with me as i learn how to use it!

I will post here very rarely (i can disappear for like 6 months at a time, that is a promise) but the rise fandom has motivated me to get better and draw again (hyperfixations go brr)

(i basically only draw Orion and Eshra but y'know-) oh, and i don't fuck with t-cest, that's nasty. I'm also not very invested in ships other than Semi-Feral Polaroids, so don't expect that from me

I made my own au a while back! I'm still fleshing it out and all, but i named it "slightly feral future leo (with ghosts)" or "sffl(wg)" for short. It's a very self indulgent "peepaw ended up in the past for no specific reason" au and it doesn't really have much plot yet, but i just like drawing cute turtle scenarios (a lot of the Leo's snoozing since they deserve a nap) or sometimes I'll draw some angst, (I'm very into angst, but I'm bad at drawing it lol)

Keep in mind that I've been very inspired by other creators and their au's when i created this one, most of it is cherry picked from others creations but i still like it. Even if some very well thought out and emotional concepts have been plucked and haphazardly shoved into my mess of an au, i just want to avoid as much confusion as possible by writing this long ass post ngl

I've decided to let people ask me things now. However, if you have any art requests whatsoever, just know that i only draw when I'm inspired and really, REALLY feel like it! I do still appreciate asks about my au if you're interested, though! (Art requests that i don't draw or can't draw might be saved for later and drawn in the future, btw. though it's not guaranteed)

If you couldn't already tell, i write a lot! I love describing things and telling some stories with drawings, so be prepared for some wordy and long ass posts, lol!

➤Transandrophobia is real. I've heard all the excuses to not use this word and to use a different word, but I think they're stupid.

➤As a DID system, I try not to interact with syscourse. I have personal opinions about endogenic systems that I don't really discuss publicly. I don't hate endo systems, but I do typically avoid them. I may overlook it in some situations, like if its rarely blogged about, because this avoidance is due to not wanting so many posts about endos on my dash rather than a dislike for the actual person behind the blog. My opinions are more nuanced than "valid or not valid" and I don't care to get into it any deeper than that with a complete stranger.

Me making something not about me about me in an incredibly annoying and self-centered way.

My bookclub is reading Αce by Αngela Chen and I'm so nervous to read it. The person who pitched it did so as "I try to make everyone to read this book to get them to consider IDing as ace" and sure enough over the past few weeks my two friends in this book club who didn't ID as ace before have sent messages in the Discord saying this book has made them reconsider.

If I wanted to pretend I wasn't being reactive I could try comparing it to people talking about getting songs stuck in your head being a symptom of autism (or was it ADHD?). But the truth is what I'm overly sensitive about is the sentiment I've seen here on Tumblr a few times that if you were really allo (-romantic or -sexual) you would have had romantic/sexual relationships by the time you're an adult. That saying you've been busy with school or whatever is just an excuse, because plenty of really busy people find time for relationships like this.

And like, I'm sorry, I've got some major issues! With executive dysfunction, with trust, with health, and with energy. If I was dating someone I wouldn't even have a place to take them back to. I am 28 and all I've ever done is kiss one (1) person on one (1) day and like, this is a sore spot for me! I want more! But like, even though I know people value me as a friend, I am still incredibly slow at making friends and haven't done so since I left school. And I don't know in the same, bone-deep, inherent way that people could value me as a romantic and sexual partner (and for me those two things are one in the same and I can't extricate them to have a romantic relationship with someone not into me sexually, or have a sexual relationship with someone who isn't interested in romance) due to my trust and body image issues and lack of practice (I was such a sobbing mess my junior or senior year of high school when I actually let myself believe and accept that the people who had been my friends for years were actually my friends, and not only did that strengthen my friendship with them but it allowed me to be more open and trusting in college and on Tumblr).

Anyways I don't read much nonfiction but what I have read suggests that my fears about this book are unfounded. Everyone says it's a good enlightening read. And my third friend in the bookclub, who is ace, wasn't the one who pitched the book but did deeply recommend it and I trust her. She has never once suggested to me that the reason I've been single my entire life is that I'm not actually attracted to people in that way.

What I'm upset about is a few tumblr posts. Not this book. This book is probably fine.

Hi! I don't really know how to write one of these so bear with me.
