watched Wonka yesterday with the expectation that i would have the worst experience of my life and then come on here and leave a massive rant review but that movie was just so. inoffensively bland. for the most part. about 5 min in i forgot that this was about Willy Wonka and i started having an okay time. idk how you make a movie about that guy and have him be the least interesting part of it. by pulling all of his teeth apparently. the evil chocolatier polycule were better characterizations of Willy Wonka than the actual Willy Wonka of this movie. that man isn't just a funny quirky silly little dude he is also a ruthless capitalist and an actual inhuman monster (same thing tbh). why are we so in denial about it? that's the entire point and appeal of his character! the contrast! i get the allure of the wholesome escapist fantasy but if that's what you want he's just not the character for it i'm sorry.

Hey sorry about the delay in seeing the ask, I mainly use Tumblr via mobile and it's ass at letting me know when I have new asks lol. It's not annoying to get asks about my fic, I promise. Feel free to send in more if you want to <3

I am working on the next chapter but seeing as the thing that lets me write is very distractable hamsters on a running wheel, I can't say with certainty when the next chapter will be. Nor when Jazz, Tucker, and Sam will make another appearance. I am fairly confident in saying that I need Shockwave around for the trio to make it to the spaceship, at a minimum, because of a juicy B plot that comes up in Chapter 9. I have most things roughly mapped out it's just a matter of Lack Of Writing Time due to life, writing juices flowing at Not Writing Time, Megs being hard to write especially because of the B plot that I refuse to lose, ect. I'd say tentatively hopefully this/next week?

Also when the trio get botted, Soundwave will not be adopting any of them. Not because he doesn't want to throw hands over custody but bc they're all going to be seekers and thus require a seeker parent. Not Starscream though, he's got his servos full with the halfas xD

we have a client at work whose "type" is like black pitty mixes (she keeps getting them) and she came in w one the other day and my coworker was like "that's great cause there's that black dog syndrome" and the client was like "oh yeah i have that i love these black dogs" and my coworker was like "no it's about how black dogs are way less likely to get adopted in general" (i added "black cats too") and the client was like ??? WHAT???? FOR REAL??? i love that she's so obsessed w her (gorgeous, well behaved) dogs that she couldn't even conceive of a world where people didn't like them
