OC F/O talking time

Runar is the first one I made! An Avvar warrior, his clan was destroyed by darkspawn, with him losing everything in the process. He’s the only survivor and it’s possible that the only reason he survived is a spirit of Love saved him? I’m still deciding on that tbh. But he’s decked out in the furs of his clan’s hold-beast, a bear that was dying of the blight following the attack. He carries his people’s memory, but it’s a heavy weight on his shoulders that might eventually drag him down

Giulietta’s a Grey Warden, having been recruited into their order after being involved in a bar fight with the son of a powerful merchant family. Being a Warden was both an escape from a cell and immediate death, and a promise of a new kind of cage an inevitable death. Though she started hearing the Calling, which drives the Wardens to their death in the Deep Roads, about four years ago, that’s been replaced by a new song filling her mind. She’s just hoping she hasn’t once again exchanged one death sentence for another

Dalnir (whose name has been changed about five times and might get changed again) is a member of the Legion of the Dead, a group of dwarven warriors known for considering themselves to already be dead. He had joined the order to have his family’s debts forgiven, but quickly proved himself as a talented fighter and gained the rank of lieutenant. He was severely injured fighting darkspawn, losing an arm and a leg, and was no longer able to keep fighting. Now he’s seeking a new purpose on the surface

Congrats to Alien Stage for being the shortest piece of media to reduce me to a sobbing mess. The love mattered. Their lives were so cruel and miserable and cut so short but the love mattered regardless :( and you have to keep living anyway. Forgive yourself
