xavier, albeit his gentle exterior, definitely embodies the very saying of “prince on the streets, beast in the sheets”. nothing will get a rise out of him more than the image of a very breathless you pinned down on the bed, eyes fully glazed over while your body screams for more. it’s intimate, feeling your back under his heaving chest when he draws yet another climax out of you, as he turns your head to press a soft kiss to your temple for ‘doing so well’.

zayne, logically speaking, should be on the gentler side, considering his medical expertise. (un)fortunately for you, it’s precisely because of his profession that he would be willing to let loose and have his way with you, knowing full well his capabilities to take care of your body aches afterwards. he definitely loves watching your reactions to every movement of his — the way your eyes roll back in sheer pleasure, how you subconsciously arch your back to give him more access, hands pulling him in by the neck while moaning for more.

rafayel loves a good show, like the diva he is. who can blame him, when you look so pretty straddling his lap like that? even more when you shift in your ‘seat’ to get comfortable, softly whining about his size — his grip on your hips tightens when he feels himself throb at your excessive movements. do you do it on purpose? he wonders, enjoying the view of you taking him in, slowly working up a rhythm. inspiration for a new painting strikes him, with you as its muse — though he supposes this one will only be for two pairs of eyes.

You were asked to join a couple games of Among us by the boys since some of them had to leave after a couple rounds. Currently in the lobby was Lazar, Lachlan, Viz, Deji, Vik, Ethan, Tobi, JJ, and Harry. You're pretty good friends with Vik and JJ but not much with the other boys. The game version you were playing was proximity chat with a couple of roles like engineer and sheriff. Fortunately you got the role of engineer so you were excited to use it. You haven't played Among us in a while but you did enjoy watching their videos so you felt fairly confident that you could win.

"Alright let's go, imposter!!" You heard Deji shout as everyone sighed. "I say we vote him out." JJ remarked. "No No let's just do our tasks and win." Vik said trying to calm down the two brothers who were standing on top of each other trying to bait the other. You decided a smart play would be to go towards cams right away. It's a sweaty play but they wouldn't expect you to do it, right? All the boys made their way towards nav as you went towards upper engine. You saw a cyan body close behind you.

"Harry?" You questioned slightly scared that you were gonna get killed right away. "Yeah it's me." He said coming closer to you, now you were able to see his character and name clearly.

"Don't do anything please, I'm new here." You begged. "No I think you're sus. Why'd you go to this side when everyone usually goes the other way?" He questioned as you two arrived to cams. You went up and clicked on the cameras watching each character on screen intensely. "I just wanted to see cams first." You said in fake annoyance. "Okay well I'm just gonna follow you the whole round then." He laughed as you groaned. You saw Ethan, Lazar, and Viz at the camera near nav and JJ at the camera near admin. Just as you closed the camera, the last thing you saw was a yellow body slice up an orange body.

"OH MY GOD HARRY, HARRY, HARRY!!" You shouted scaring the hell out of him. "OH MY GOD WHAT!?" He screamed back in a panic. "I just saw yellow kill orange!!"

"IT'S LACHLAN!" Just as you two were about to dash towards the body, it was reported by Tobi.

"Okay guys, I know who it is." JJ said immediately. "Where is it?" Viz interrupted him. "No, listen to me, I saw who did it!" JJ said getting louder. "The body was near medbay, right near the entrance." Tobi said. "Who was on cams?" Lazar asked.

You hesitated for a moment but Harry spoke up.

"I was on cams with y/n! We saw who did it!!" He said very giddy, ready to get the imposter out.

"Y/n, why didn't you speak?" Lazar questioned you. "I was just about to but you didn't let me!" You defended yourself. "That's a bit sus." He smirked. You knew at this moment that the two aussies were the imposters.

"Guys, no, listen I was at cams and-" You began getting interrupted by Deji.

"Wait why does she get to go to cams in the beginning but when I do it, I get voted out!?" He exclaimed causing all the boys to makes noises in agreement except Harry who was trying to voice his defense for you to no avail.

"That's true! I think it was Y/n and Harry!" Lazar spearheaded the whole lobby. Everyone voiced their agreement and began voting for you. "No! Guys I'm engineer!! I swear!!" You said in a panic trying to save yourself.

"Guys, she's lying, I'm engineer!!" Lachlan said getting a vouch from Lazar. Everyone mumbled in agreement as Harry tried getting a word in. "Okay I say we vote Harry next." Lazar said as everyone agreed and voted you out.

"Oh my gosh you dickheads!! Guys I'm the new guest, what the hell?" You shrieked as your body was flung into space. You sat back in your chair as you joined the dead chat with Vik. He was in hysterics because he obviously knew the truth.

"Oh my gosh Y/n... I'm so sorry... Lazar cooked." He said in between laughs as you sighed heavily. "I literally did nothing!! Harry even tried vouching!!" You exclaimed. "This lobby has no braincells." He said.

You began following Harry as a ghost since you had nothing better to do, you sure as hell weren't gonna do any tasks. You watched as Harry went back to cams, then went into medbay to do his task. Ethan walked in shortly behind him as he wanted to be cleared on the scanner. You and Vik watched as Lachlan and Lazar came into to medbay giggling with each other.

"What's so funny?" Ethan asked as Harry had just finished his scan. "This." Lazar said as he and Lachlan killed both of them and quickly vented out. Ethan sat there in shock with an open mouth as Harry screamed.

"WE SAID IT WAS THEM!! WE KNEW IT!!" Harry said as him and Ethan joined the dead chat. "Welcome Harry." You said, slightly too happy to 'see' him. "Oh I don't get a welcome?" Ethan complained.

"Nah mate, fuck off, you voted her out!" Harry defended as you agreed. "Seriously like you got played Ethan." You continued not feeling bad since you were upset you got voted out for nothing.

You all continued watching the game as the imposters only needed a double kill to win. Lazar was literally controlling the lobby at this point so you know it's game over. You watched as Deji and JJ just stood on top of each other in cafeteria trying to get the other to kill them.

"Oh my god, these two are idiots!" Ethan shouted in frustrated as Lazar and Lachlan walked up and killed them winning the game.

Defeat.

"You absolute dickheads!" You shouted. "I said I knew who it was!! I literally saw it on cams!!" You said as Harry and Vik backed you.

"Yeah you know what's funny, I saw cams was on and I thought it was Deji so I was just gonna blame it on him but it worked out either way. You guys suck!" Lazar gloated as you all sighed in frustration.

Imposter.

Weirdly enough, you actually got imposter with Harry. You felt very excited because you wanted revenge so badly.

You went towards cams again with Harry close behind. You saw JJ follow you guys and let out a breathy sigh.

"On cams again?" JJ remarked as he clicked on the camera panel. "Glad to be on your team again, Y/n." Harry snickered causing JJ, confusion. "What do you mean?" He asked as you sliced his body. "FUCKKKKKKK." He shouted in the shadow realm.

You and Harry couldn't contain your laughter as you two made your way over towards the vent. "Okay I'm gonna check who's in electrical and I'll see if we can double kill." You said as he agreed. You vented towards electrical and saw Tobi and Vik doing the same task on the right side of the room. You vented back towards cams to tell Harry who quickly followed you back towards electrical. You both jumped out the the vent hearing a shriek from Tobi but before he got any more words out, you killed him and Vik.

"Oh my god, oh my god." Harry said as you two vented towards medbay then towards cafeteria laughing. You two tried to get as far as you could from the bodies. You were both in weapons when a body was reported.

"Okay, who was it?" Lachlan asked since he reported the body. "I found a double kill towards the back of electrical." He continued. "Thank you to whoever killed JJ. Haha JJ, you suck!" Deji cheered earning laughs from you and some of the other boys. "Where was everyone?" Lazar asked. "Harry and I were in weapons!" You quickly chimed in since you feared if you didn't, you would be sussed again.

"I was in shields with Ethan and Deji." Viz stated. "I was in admin." Lazar said making everyone get suspicious.

"You know what? It could be the two aussies again?" Ethan said.

"I back that actually." Harry said hoping you would join him. "Yeah I say we vote out Lazar!" You exclaimed hoping everyone would side with you. "No we can't vote on seven!! You guys are morons, don't do it." Lazar tried to explain. "But if we're right, then it doesn't matter." Harry said with no logic yet everyone agreed.

You laughed devilishly as you watched Lazar's body be shot out into space. You loaded back into the map and walked off with Harry towards admin going to fake the card swipe. "Okay, we only need a double kill and we win." You told Harry as you two couldn't stop laughing. You felt so happy in this moment with Harry. After this, you definitely need to buy him a beer or something so you can either celebrate your victory or revel in your defeat.

You hit a sabotage for reactor. Everyone made their way there from different directions. You and Harry went down to storage and past electrical as Lachlan and Ethan walked out. Nearing reactor, your kill cooldown nearing 0. You felt your chest beating faster because you and Harry were about to double kill in front of everyone and if one of you kills too late, it gives a chance for the body to be reported.

3... 2... 1... slice.

Victory.

"Hold that!" You shouted as you stood up celebrating your victory. "Let's Go!!" Harry said cheering on his own side. "Harry, we need to go out to celebrate!" You exclaimed not realizing what you just said. "Oh hell yeah! We need to exchange info asap!" He gushed. He wasn't going to admit it yet, but this whole interaction made him sort of fall for you. You weren't gonna admit it either but you felt the same way.

"Oh god, get a room."

“The strings are wrapped around you,” or, a discussion about Truthless Recluse, Pure Vanilla, and an idea of an awakening

One of the things I’ve been hung up on ever since finishing A Game of Truth and Deceit’s story is the fact that the things Truthless Recluse says does not feel exactly in character for Pure Vanilla. I’m sure this is the point. You’re supposed to get that feeling out of hearing him, Gingerbrave even directly points it out.

So, other than the corruption, why the so sudden change? Why is he suddenly turning against everyone? And most importantly, how is he supposed to get out of it?

Or, a CRK analysis/theory of sorts regarding Beast-Yeast episode 7, as well as how episode 8 might go, split into sections below the cut.

1 - An Introduction

I will start off by saying that before this update came out, I was one of the people adamant that Pure Vanilla was not going to end up corrupted. Not because I didn’t want anything bad to happen to him, but because I couldn’t see a reason why.

For as much as Shadow Milk could break him, dig into his biggest fears and insecurities and make them appear real, there wasn’t a reason to me for him to suddenly turn against everyone on his own— not when those around him had consistently helped him, bringing him out of what might have been the worst dips of his bad mental state. Not unless Shadow Milk was able to really manipulate him into it.

Then again, I knew what Shadow Milk could do. I knew he could control the will of other cookies (seen with the faerie cookies), and disguise himself in another form (see: every time he impersonates the Light of Truth). I also knew Pure Vanilla would be vulnerable to him, both with the bad mental state, and by the fact that the first time they encountered each other, he was already struggling. The right strings being pulled could just make him snap.

And then, I saw Truthless Recluse. And I lost my mind.

So, the point of all this. I had been TERRIFIED before this update how Pure Vanilla would fall. I thought he’d have his sense of self broken, all his emotions toyed with, sure, but I wasn’t ready for a FULL CORRUPTION. Then I got to thinking: it’s been a pattern this happens, right? In the Ancient vs Beast chapters, they encounter each other, fight in some way, and the Ancient somehow loses their connection to their respective Light. They only awaken after, picking themself back up from the brink of defeat. And we already know Awakened Pure Vanilla exists, so that leaves the question: how do you help him? How does he come back from where he is now? How does he awaken if he’s already been “defeated?”

That’s what I’m here to discuss.

2 - The Spider-Man meme problem

So! Fortune Teller. That guy.

Almost everyone I saw took one look at him in the trailers and KNEW he was Pure Vanilla. Had to be. The voice was the same, appearance the same, motifs the same, the character design was a pretty big giveaway. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, yknow. It’s probably a duck.

And that presumption was right! Fortune Teller is Truthless Recluse, and by extension, Pure Vanilla.

How can that happen, though? If Pure Vanilla talks directly to Fortune Teller, how can they be the same? Luckily, the game decides to answer this question on its own!

So, if this is a space the future of the past (the present) and the future of the present (just the future) can both exist… that means Fortune Teller, and by extension, Truthless Recluse, are likely from the future. Not only because we’ve seen PV walking around in the present, but because we KNOW how TR talks about PV like he’s dead, as well as because of a fun little quote from Shadow Milk!

“In the end, you will become me.”

This is what I’m going to be building the rest of this off of. Stick with me here.

3 - What’s that, puppet boy??

Lies. Manipulation. Deceit.

These are the things Shadow Milk lives for. But any good snake, any good spider weaving a web, knows that the best lies have a hint of truth to them. This is what I intend to dissect.

It feels... a bit strange to think that Pure Vanilla could become someone like Shadow Milk. And yet, the signs are already there. He isn't honest with himself, tells white lies in the hopes that it may make someone feel better rather than the cruel truth, and his mental state is already in a horrid place. Of course, none of these are particularly bad things, they're human, and I can't blame him for any of it. But they're also all undeniably things that could lead him to snapping. What's the point doubt is all that's left? What's the point that he delves into the comfort of the lie of fantasy? What's the point that reality is too much agony to bear? Is that not how the Fount of Knowledge became the Master of Deceit, finding that cookies enjoyed the sweet lie more than the cruel truth?

“In the end, you will become me.”

And so, he just might.

So, consider. If present and future can both at once in Shadow Milk's domain, if Fortune Teller is not merely an illusion, then who's to say Truthless Recluse isn't who Pure Vanilla is destined to become?

The best lies have a shred of truth. This is our (hypothetical) truth. If nothing changes, if Pure Vanilla falls to Shadow Milk's games, lets himself be broken, plays the role he's had laid out for him ever since he was young (once again, if we choose to take that as truth and not an illusion), then his fate is sealed.

"Despair follows in your footsteps... A river lies on your path. Cross it, and you will face unfathomable dread. Turn back... Turn back before it is too late. Turn back before the cold flames of doubt swallow you whole."

That river is fast approaching, if it hasn’t already.

4 - Finding truth, breaking strings

Let's circle back to one of my first points.

They only awaken after, picking themself back up from the brink of defeat. And we already know Awakened Pure Vanilla exists, so that leaves the question: how do you help him? How does he come back from where he is now? How does he awaken if he’s already been ‘defeated?’"

Is episode seven not still following the same formula, yet iterating on it in its own unique way? Pure Vanilla comes directly into contact with Shadow Milk, and tries to defend himself the most he can. However, he's a lot more vulnerable than the others this time around— after all, lies and truth cannot exist without the other. They're not entirely opposites. After having his sense of self shattered, Pure Vanilla falls from the Spire. Somewhere, he loses his connection to his Light of Truth. Enter: Truthless Recluse.

We know Pure Vanilla will eventually be awakened (see: dev commentary), so how does he leave the state he's in? How do you come back from falling so far?

This is where our "Truthless Recluse is a future version of Pure Vanilla" idea comes in handy! To put it simply: he hasn't become him yet. Not in reality. The present Pure Vanilla has fallen somewhere deep, deep down, into the darkest abyss... And has yet to come back. It sets a perfect scene to trick those closest to Pure Vanilla to believe the lie wrapped in truth of his ‘death,’ doesn't it?

It also solves our characterization problem from the very beginning of this post. I never said he immediately becomes Truthless Recluse. Given that in this interpretation, TR is what PV will eventually become, it provides a reason for Truthless Recluse to say the things he does, and act the way he does. Maybe Pure Vanilla wouldn’t have said or done those things, but to Truthless Recluse, that part of himself has long been dead.

So. Where does Pure Vanilla find his truth?

It could be a lot of things. However, one of the main things I've seen reiterated is just how much Shadow Milk toys with the mind. Right now, Pure Vanilla likely believes his entire life is a lie. Not once has he had free will. Since birth, he has been a marionette on strings, a plaything for a being beyond everything he ever knew. Every action, every decision, it was just part of an Oscar-worthy performance. Everything he may have once defined as himself is null.

And even worse: there's no one to drag him out of it this time. White Lily is gone, off on her own mission. Gingerbrave and his friends have Truthless Recluse to deal with. The Light of Truth is silent. Everyone, everything he may have depended on isn't there. It's just him, the Other-Realm, and eyes that have been watching for his entire lifetime.

To get out, he has to break the strings. Just as he once awoke from his prison when he needed to confront his past, he can do it again. But this time, it isn't going to be while he hides under another identity, it isn’t going to be while telling himself a lie. Outsmart the snake, remember, remember, remember. Hold onto the love, the care, the things that are true. No amount of deceit can change how he once felt. They say the heart is true. Maybe that's the key out.

To put it more simply: no matter what it ends up being that causes it, he needs to realize himself that he is in charge of his own destiny. The truth of the question "who am I" is "whoever you want to be." It isn't an question that can be answered by someone else. You only become fully truthless, only fully wall yourself away from everyone if you choose to do so. It isn't fate.

And so, in the end, I think Pure Vanilla will awaken. By proxy, if my entire idea here were to be true, Truthless Recluse would cease to exist. Paradoxes are funny that way. There's no way for that ending to exist if it's no longer the future that lies ahead.

5 - A conclusion

I have absolutely no clue what's coming in episode eight. I'll say that upfront. I have no clue, and it terrifies me. I love Pure Vanilla, I want him to make it out of this, but I know he won't make it out unscathed. The tragedy could stay, it could just be for this episode, it's unclear. We just have to wait until episode eight goes live.

Regardless, I want him to struggle. I don't think it makes sense for him to get out of this easily. Not when he considers himself pathetic, not when he can't trust the voice of the Light of Truth, not when he's been questioning himself. Let that doubt sink into him. Let him rebuild himself, piece by shattered piece. It makes for an emotional story, and makes me like Pure Vanilla even more as a character. Maybe that's just the Omori fan in me, but I love delves into characters' minds like that.

It may not be anything like what I've discussed here, but I'm very excited to see what Devsisters does. This is all I'm going to be thinking about until then.

hi! i am not one of audrey’s friends, i just found out about this whole quinn drama today, however i think it’s extremely rude to assume something about a person you’ve never met. of course people are going to call her pretty. she is conventionally pretty. i understand that this is a drama account and all that, but deciding that audrey is the evil stepmother from cinderella based on a video is kinda insane. as someone with a gnarly rbf who doesn’t even realize it sometimes, i can understand how it might look like she was annoyed, but we weren’t in the car. we also don’t know what happened before the moment even happened.

i don’t want to say that her reaction was appropriate or inappropriate based on the video because, then again, we don’t know what happened, but being rude to a random girl because she’s with your favorite hockey player is also not appropriate.

7) She had “make me famous so I don’t have to work” or something in her tiktok bio FOREVER and also took it out when that video was released to try and save face. Even though clearly the bio was a bit of a joke, considering what she’s done, it seems like she truly is a gold digger

8) I don’t know where tf you got that Quinn Hughes is my favorite hockey player but you’ve already made it very clear you don’t read this blog so you just decided to assume because (gasp) you people love to act like you know everything based off assumptions.

Am I missing anything? Probably but at the end of the day the bottom line is: KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU START TALKING. This happens WAY too often because dense people like you believe you’re all the knowledgeable and us less than fortunate can benefit from your intelligent (or lack thereof) minds. A/N: Just a lil piece I wrote AGES ago and I figured because it's getting close to the end of winter I'd post it :D

"No, no, I'm sure that Alyn was staying anyway. Anna definitely is, but I'm sure Alyn was too-"

"Students, may I have your attention please?"

James sat up quickly as Professor Weasley's voice rung through the Great Hall. He, Poppy, Alvin, Tori and Theo were digging into breakfast quickly so they could have some time in the snow before classes started.

"Fortunately, Headmaster Black has granted me permission to make this announcement." Professor Weasley continued. "For fear of pupils being unable to concentrate in lesson due to the cold weather, all classes will be postponed for all students for these last two days before the Christmas break. Do be careful out there, it is rather icy and we wouldn't want any students going home with broken bones."

The entire Hall erupted in a loud cheer. Tori whooped, punching James' shoulder.

"Snow day!" Poppy cheered, and Tori kissed her cheek.

"As usual, the quidditch pitch is open despite games being cancelled, if students so wish they may indulge in snow activities. However I must ask that you all please do use your wits and do not perform any stunts that I would class as dangerous."

"Alvin! Theo!" Matty rushed towards the Hufflepuff table looking flushed and excited. "Mum just gave me permission to stay in Hogwarts for Christmas break!"

"Yes!" James gave an excited air punch. "That's almost all of us, minus Cassie, Damien, ermm, Val, I think? Oscar's staying, I have no clue about Freddie, I think we're also missing a confirmed answer from Luci and Alyn. All we have to do is convince a few more adults and then we'll have the BEST Hogwarts Christmas ever!"

"Cassie's staying here." Alvin said quietly as Matty sat beside him. "Trouble at home." James gave Alvin's shoulder a squeeze to try and comfort him.

"Anyone got any news on Freddie?" Tori asked.

"His dad still refused to let him stay, but Freddie said he wouldn't get on that train home if his life depended on it." Jo said as she joined the conversation, sitting herself down. "I do hope he isn't punished for it. You know what his dad's like."

The rest of the group filed in. Val was grinning when she sat down, and she placed a sheet of parchment on the table.

"Professor Hecat herself wrote my parents a letter explaining why I have to stay. I have no clue what the letter says, but Hecat must've been persuasive because my mother let me stay in Hogwarts!"

Everyone cheered, and Matty hugged Val tight.

"Damien! Any news?" Luci asked with a smile.

"I'm allowed to stay" Damien said with a slight flush, though he didn't elaborate.

"Oh good! I had hoped so after-" Ellie cut off as Damien shot her a subtle death stare.

"What about Roan?" Damien asked quickly.

Roan raised a hand. "Easier for me to stay here, anyway"

"Gah, where the heck is Alyn?"

Jo replied, "I'm sure she woke up early, she wasn't in the dorm this morning"

"Alyn said she was gonna miss breakfast. Had something to take care of in the library. But I'm pretty sure she's staying" Luci furrowed her eyebrows.

Val nudged her, "d'ya think she's with-"

Luci quickly shushed her.

"I'm assuming Alex is staying if Alvin is" Val said casually. Cassie immediately perked up, sitting up a bit straighter. "What about the other set of twins?"

"Oscar's still checking things off his apology list. He's trying to make up for the damage he caused in fifth year" Cal explained, "Kiel is staying though. Him and Alvin are practicing for Quidditch"

"In this weather?" Jo furrowed her eyebrows. "I do hope they don't catch a flu."

"They'll be okay" James assured her.

"Jamie, where's Ren?" Cassie asked suddenly. Florence raised a hand from his seat at the end of the table. His nose was buried in a book as always, and he had a dark blue shawl wrapped around him, his pale nose pink from the cold.

"Before you ask, yes I'm staying here" Florence said sounding bored. "And yes, I've heard every word of your conversation. Reading doesn't make me deaf."

James grinned, moving to sit next to Ren. He threw his arm around his shoulder, and Ren shrugged him off pretended to ignore him, but everyone was certain the flush on his face was no longer from the cold.

"Is that everyone? Me, Ren, Cassie, the twins, the other twins, Poppy, Tori, Ellie, Luci, Val, Ale, Roan, Cal, Matty, Freddie, the triplets, Damien-"

James paused, eyes widening. "Damien? Is Sebastian staying?"

Damien flushed. "I... I did manage to convince him. I think he is."

James grinned knowingly. "I think that's all of us! Now, let's head outside because I've been itching to get my fingers on that frozen good-ness all morning"

Fun facts, eh? Well I'm not sure this is interesting to anyone while the rest of the AU hasn't properly debuted yet... but I'll try:

The City is surrounded by all kinds of incredibly diverse and oftentimes conflicting terrain. White sanded beaches that sparkle like diamonds, snowy mountains skirted by pine woods, rocky deserts and canyons lined with sugar (yes, the Kingdom exists here), tropical jungles, temperate meadows... whatever suits your taste, a change of scenery is always an option!! Caine takes a lot of pride in these areas, as they took research and elaborate designing. Other than a showman, he's a bit of an artist at heart.

Jax is partial to the all-you-can-eat buffets. It's become sort of tradition that he takes the newbies out with him to his favorite one. Hey, no one say he's not sociable. (If his company isn't that enjoyed, at least the food will be...)

Also, I've decided for the time being that Bubble is a beer bubble. Always foaming at the mouth... Rabid thing.

Agatha tends to introduce herself to newcomers down at the Club, but her and Ginnie may also organize a "day out" to get them into the swing of things and show them how the world works!! And if Kinger is notified of their arrival, he will invite them to an evening of fine dining and live music at The Velvet Butterfly via letter. (Very classy.)

During the day Lulu works at a stereotypical diner on the outer part of the city. She's one of those roller-skating waitresses, and certainly seems chipper about her job.

Her programmed backstory is that she was raised sheltered within the kingdom walls by her overprotective parents. Between her extensive studies and being taught stict etiquette she barely left the castle, let alone went outside the kingdom, so that one day she may become the perfect ruler to take her father's place. She didn't mind the prospect of leadership but craved the taste of a more exciting, wild and unrestrained life, especially in that fabled City she had heard so much about from their subjects... One day, she could no longer take it and ran away, taking an outlaws' carriage. She loved her parents and her people, but she'd come to the decision that she needed to lead a life of her own and discover the adventures of a world far different from theirs. For what she's done she can't return yet, but one day, she might.

Her and Gummi belong in a category of NPCs known as "companion AI". Compared to the mannequins they have elaborate designs, backstories and personalities for the more immersive experience of talking to a fellow person; they also have the second best memory after Caine, seeing as they were created to be spent plenty of time with. This companionship can mean anything from simple acquaintances to romantic relations to... more intimate things, and even though these two are fairly new around they've experienced it all. Their feelings about it vary.

The major NPCs of other episodes will have a place in this AU as well, but I'll wait with the more detailed brainstorming until those come out. For now, Orbsman is a Spudsy's cashier Jax enjoys frequently humiliating and picking on. Martha Mildenhall, the resident ghost of a mansion as we can infer, hosts the players' feasts and various other events at her lavish estate, helped by mannequins and her little spook friend in the catering.

Caine is dressed like a pimp. No, really.

Don't know if now is a great time for asks (congrats on wrapping up the Dess cut btw! ), but if it is, one question just came to mind with Noir that made me curious: what is his hair color exactly? Like most of the time it looks brown or even sort of red, but on some occasions it looks more violet/blue? Is his hair black drawn with different tints as an artistic touch or something? (Mind if I throw Adeleine and especially their parents into this question too?)

DESS CONSISTENCY CHALLENGE: FAIL (I tease! )

It's true, color is a weakness. I'll be in a rush to finish something and just sample/eyeball the from whatever I had on hand (don't do this lest you play the telephone game with your character's palette!!) and even when I get it right, I slap on SO MANY gradient maps and filters that once again, consistency goes out the window.

TLDR: I didn't exactly make an, erm, proper palette.

(I'm envious of OC creators who've been doing this for years and know how to make good palettes and those nice reference sheets with the cute BGs and bobbles...)

I would say Rim and Adeleine have artistically-stylized-black-hair. Neichel's and Noir's hair is more dark brown, with Noir's having a touch of wine red for thematic :cough: murder :cough: reasons!

The kids have papa's VIOLET eyes, while Neichel, who probably had brown (?) eyes before, now has suspiciously GREEN eyes.

Guys I feel like I am trying to put together a puzzle out of pieces from one million different puzzles where no one full puzzle is present. I was looking at This Foul Murder today and I came across the part where Marshall describes Benedikt's eyes as being "brown-grey" and "ambiguous dark". I was already familiar with this because I am a frequent peruser of Benedikt's fandom wiki page. But I always just assumed it was mistaken on the wiki page, because I was 10000% sure I had read in the books somewhere else that his eyes are light colored/blue.

I absolutely SCOURED TVD for any mention of Benedikt to try to find an answer and I came up with nothing. Did I imagine this?? Have I created an alternate timeline where Benedikt underwent a change of eye color akin to Thalia Grace of the Riordanverse??
