Some really RANDOM headcanons about obey me characters i have
Warning: Some behaviours that you shouldn't do normally but we are talking about a demon game so 🧍🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Notes: if you want to share your headcanons too, just write them to comments or my ask box and i will make a comment on them lmao.
1) Diavolo was forced to have concubines but he found a way to not to.
2) Leviathan once tried to virtual dating but broke things of since his lover stanned another idol
3) Satan and Lucifer has a really shocking ex lover/fling list that even asmodeus is surprised
4) Belphegor loves to mess some lower demons secretly sometimes like tricking them or curse them (but silly curses like making them fall over stairs since he annoyed them)
5) Beelzebub once beaten a male demon who acted shitty and abusive to his girlfriend in a restuarant. He also asked the girl if she wants him to eat him or have another thoughts (one of the biggest feminist, period ☝🏼)
6) Mammon loves to use his luck powers on poor demons or humans but he just hides it. He also tried to luck a child who couldn't buy a toy but ended up stealing it for them (after that he got a insult from lucifer who doesnt know the backstory but he just smiled it off 😭)
7) Lucifer hates white peacocks since he find them more charming. (he is jelly but never admits it)
8) when he was a child Diavolo was secretly hanging around the castle's forbidden places for him just to explore a fling between maid and a royal family member. He was the one most got insulted :(
9) Barbatos understands the most of memes but never showing it. He has a secret meme board on devilterest.
10) Solomon LOVES to have forbidden relationships. In the past he dated a princess/prince whom father hates him and made a queen with a husband fall for him... thats just 2 of examples.
11) Asmodeus is obsessed with doja cat and nicki minaj since you introduced them to him. He even tried to meet them but lucifer didnt let him
12) Simeon has some obsessive angel fans for him.
... just this for now....

~doing a mini rewatch of the bear so my thoughts on SydCarmy are overflowing 😭 ~
i just can never grasp where the “they’re platonic soulmates” crowd is coming from ???? S1E3 is an example of something we have seen a lot in the show: Carmy trying to give Sydney what he thinks she wants but falling short by not actually listening to her
if there’s one thing that’s been consistent in the past three seasons of the show is Carmy trying to give Sydney “what she wants” (literally his words*). Syd believes that she and Carmy could run a Michelin star restaurant with their combined expertise without the typical insanity that they have experienced in these high end restaurants. they often fall short because Carmy is still trying to do this in the way that he’s used to/the way that he’s been traumatized into being used to. whereas Sydney is saying to Carmy ‘we don’t have to operate this way if we work together and communicate, we can make this experience look differently’
*Carmy has said to Syd “this is what you wanted” in some way, shape or form, in S1-S3. like the man is desperately trying to make the love of his life’s dreams come true 🙂↕️ and you want me to think he’s in love with the bad nurse ??? let’s be so serious rn
side note: S1E3 was what started to solidify my faith in SydCarmy 😭 the way he brings her food, the way he talks to her, the way he says her name to coax an answer out of her. the way she immediately folds!!! no judgement cause i probably would’ve folded too lmao but the whole scene at the end with them actually communicating will always hold a special place in my heart. the tone of voice that’s been established as “Syd’s Carmy voice” is present in this episode like AHHHHHH I just love them so much
EDIT: there were so many typos i had to fix 😭 and ive also been made aware that Claire is a doctor, not a nurse

I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't really make a lot of sense to me when people say that Eden being the culprit doesn't make sense from a narrative/story perspective, or that they "don't see her killing someone" I mean to-each-their-own obviously, but like, at the same time...the entire theme of this chapter is that not everything is as it seems. Your preconceived notions of the people around you based on the parts of themself they present to you are bound to be contradicted by an action they take, or a side of themselves that's kept hidden away. This theme was set up in the first episode of Chapter 2 with J's secret, which I elaborate more on in this post, where she is revealed to have a completely different identity that nobody in the cast was aware of, and that identity of hers is met with spectacle and admiration when J's life is really nothing to admire. Another thing that sets up this narrative is also just the secrets motive in general. From a meta standpoint, I think the secrets motive is meant to challenge us the audience and the preconceived notions we have about these characters, what we believe they are capable of doing to others, to themselves, and in general who they are as people. I remember back when the episodes were still being released seeing paragraphs of defenses in comment sections in regards to David, how he wasn't a manipulator because of this that and the third, how he was only trying to help and that he couldn't had been malicious in his intention. And I can attest to that, because I was one of those people lmao. And as we know now, David did end up being the one with the manipulator secret and showing a much more ugly side of himself that many didn't take kindly to, because it contradicted what we knew about who he was, or more accurately, what we wanted to believe he was. And I use David as an example here, because this pattern can be seen with multiple characters throughout the chapter. Arei, who up until this point had been portrayed as nothing more than a mean, merciless bully, had her past and true-feelings spilled out on full display, leading to her allowing herself the chance to become a better person. This is almost the exact opposite of what happened to Nico, who was portrayed as a timid, defenseless individual constantly catching the brunt of Ace's assault, only to show that they are a much more nefarious person than you would first assume, more than willing to tie a wire around Ace's neck if pushed to their boiling point. And the funny thing about these two examples is that even after these sides of their characters were revealed to us, people still allowed their established notions of the characters to overrule it. People theorized that Arei was lying, or just putting on another manipulative show again. People theorized that actually Nico was just trying to take the wire off of Ace's neck, that Ace actually killed himself and was just pinning it on Nico, or that Hu was somehow responsible and that she was manipulating Nico into doing it, or was just straight-up the one who tried to kill Ace. And there's nothing wrong with any of these theories in the moment, even though I'd say with present information that all of them have been de-confirmed. The reason I'm mentioning them is that it goes to show that if you have a certain view of a character that you have become attached to, and something comes along and contradicts that view, your brain searches for ways to justify the previous view you had. Even in the case of Arei and Nico where, to be fair, the previous perspective wasn't entirely wrong, people still feel strange when they see something that contradicts it.
All of this brings us to David, who as I mentioned previously, was continuously defended in the weeks before CH2-11 dropped because people didn't want to believe he was as manipulative as a lot of the fandom made him out to be. And then CH2-11 actually dropped, and possibly the most unsavory side of David was revealed to us in full display. And despite the fact that the legitimacy of how much of David's true colors is being shown is still a big question mark to this day, and the fact that this side of himself gets approximately seventeen minutes of screen-time, a lot of people were incredibly quick, and I mean quick, to immediately dismiss it as bad writing. Instead of actually thinking for a moment about why this writing decision would be made, they wrote off David as a one-dimensional bad guy to the point of even calling him a cartoon villain. It's hard to believe now considering how much effort the community has put into the past year to dissect every aspect of this blueberry-haired motherfucker, but there were people who were genuinely pissed when CH2-11 dropped. "Hey, this is all well and good but uh...I thought this post was about Eden? Why are you bringing up all these other characters?" Well I'm glad you asked, voice that I made up in my head to transition cleanly to my next point. The thing that all three of these characters, Arei Nico and David have in common, is that they all serve to challenge what we know about these characters and introduce a side of them that goes against our current knowledge, and it's up to us as an audience to either accept this as part of who they are as a person, or deny it in favor of the narrative we've grown comfortable with. And I really do think that is an intentional part of the story being told within Chapter 2, especially when characters like Hu also exemplify these tendencies in how she defends David and tries to see the good within him, deflecting away from the uncomfortable truth that he is not all he presents himself to be. All that glitters is not gold, not everyone is as they appear to be. Which brings us, finally, to Eden Tobisa. And how a lot of the arguments against the theory that she is the one who killed Arei greatly confuse me, and why I think a lot of it falls along this line of thinking.
I see quite a few people implying that the idea of Eden being the CH2 culprit is inherently, as a concept, bad writing, how it doesn't fit with her character, and other things along those lines. It's actually very similar arguments that I saw used to deny the idea that David was manipulative. But I do not see this to be the case. In fact, I think out of everyone currently alive in the cast, Eden being the culprit is what would fit the best with the narrative and story that has been established. This chapter, as I've mentioned previously, has challenged our perspectives of these characters and what we know about them, emphasizing that what we see of them might not be the full-picture of who they are as people. So quite frankly, why wouldn't the culprit be the most positive, seemingly hopeful girl in the entire killing game cracking under it's pressure and resorting to murder? An aspect of Eden's character that I think goes overlooked quite often is that, though she is not by any means naive and her optimism is genuine, her positivity can definitely seep into toxic positivity on more than one occasion. Specifically when applying it towards herself.
(x) Teruko: You seem quite chipper this morning, even though you were distraught last night. Eden: ...Yeah, I know. I'm really sorry about yesterday. Eden: I was in a new, scary situation, and I let myself get too upset. But that was a mistake, I'm not going to let myself be weak like that anymore. Eden: I'll do my best to encourage everyone from now on!
(x) Levi: I suppose I could say the same for you, can't I? Today you're just as cheerful as you've ever been. Eden: I'm glad you think so. I'm wearing my brave face, see? Eden: Everyone is probably going to be sad for a while. For their sake, and for mine, I'll put on a happy smile!
(x) Eden: [Sniff] Whit: There, there. Pat pat. Do you want to sit down somewhere else? Eden: ....... Eden: I'm fine! I just... needed a second to deal with it. Eden: I'm super ready to investigate! I'll do whatever I can to help find Arei's killer.
I want you to pay attention to the third scene I linked especially, because I think it re-contextualizes the other two scenes mentioned. I hope this does not need to be spoonfed, but just to be clear: I am not at all saying that Eden's positivity is fake or fabricated, I think her optimism is a very real aspect of her. That being said, despite her believing that the best way to make it through this killing game is to express grief and rely on others and how she does acknowledge the severity of the situation on multiple occasions, she has never really allowed herself to grieve her current situation. She refers to her very reasonable response to the death game as a weakness, and she outright admits to Levi that she is putting on a brave face for herself and the others. And in the third clip, it's not even being hidden from the audience anymore, especially with how the line is voiced. It's like Eden's VA was specifically instructed to sound as if she were forcing a smile. What this all means, to me anyway, is that there is a lot of stress, fear, and sadness bubbling under Eden's skin that she's purposefully keeping hidden, for herself but especially for the others. That doesn't mean she is good at it, mind you, as Eden at the end of the day is still someone who's feelings are practically sewn into her sleeve, but she is trying. And it's clear it is having an impact on her. Couple that with the fact that Eden very clearly wants to escape really fucking badly, if her constant attempts to find a solution to end the killing game are anything to go by. Especially in Chapter 2. (credit to @/venus-is-thinking for pointing this out in their post)
(x) Eden: So uh... I've been spending a lot of time investigating around, looking for a potential exit
(x) Veronika: You know, Eden once thought of an interesting plan to end the killing game. Based on everything we know, it could theoretically work.
(x) Hu: Eden and I have a continuous alibi from 7 PM to 10 PM. It has become a bit of a tradition for the two of us to clean up after dinner together Hu: And after we were done, we talked for quite some time, brainstorming ways to deal with the motive.
Eden has been more obsessed than anyone else over the prospect of ending, dealing with, or escaping the death game. (just as a side note cause it goes outside the scope of this post, this is also why it doesn't make sense when I see people say that Eden doesn't have a motive to kill, because...she does? Fuck if anything she is probably the person who currently wants to escape this death game the most. I understand if that doesn't sound like a satisfying motive to you, but she does have a motive.) Also couple all of this with the constant arguing of the rest of the cast, and her literally witnessing Nico try to kill Ace in front of her eyes, all the while she is trying to put on a positive smile for everyone else and herself. I really do not see why it is so unbelievable that she would break and try to commit murder. And really, I do think it's primarily because of how the fandom as a whole views Eden, which is why I spent a large majority of this post talking about the themes of Chapter 2 and how they interact with how the audience sees the characters. Another theme that has been explored in this chapter is the idea of a Good Person. Specifically, what makes someone a good person, and the desire to become one. And how is this theme introduced into the chapter?
(x) Levi: Perhaps I messed up yesterday. But I want to move on. I want to keep trying to be a 'good person,' like you, Eden.
Through the existence of Eden. With every other character in the DRDT cast, there is at least one attribute about them or action they take, that would reasonably warrant them being disliked, or seen as not the best person. Even other characters serve a similar role in the narrative, like Whit and Hu, have things about them that could result in this opinion. Like Whit's insensitivity and uncaring behavior towards the dead, and Hu using other people to make herself feel useful. But Eden is viewed, both within the story and outside it, as an undeniable good person. There's a reason why you basically never see a genuine Eden hater in a wild because...well, what is there to dislike her for? She's kind, she's caring, she's helpful, and she tries her best for everyone around her. In the midst of a story where the characters are constantly being pushed to the brink and fucking up, Eden has done literally nothing wrong. She has been a victim of circumstance or other people victimizing her. And the one time she is antagonized in the story it's by a character who, up until a few minutes after, we have basically only seen as a mean bully. Eden has done nothing wrong. Eden is the picture-perfect presentation of a good person. But I think by the end of Chapter, as a climax to both of the themes that permeate it's narrative
That will no longer be the truth.
#its probably very obvious by the way this is written but this was not originally meant to be an analysis post#this was mostly just a way for me to express my opinions on the perception of the eden culprit theory#while also opening up a dialogue on CH2's themes#but then I just kept writing... and writing... and writing...#and now its this#and I think it's one of my favorite posts I've ever made so I hope you enjoy#{🍀It is an equal failing to trust everybody and to trust no one at all. and to trust no one at all.🌟}#~💫 a constellation!💫~#danganronpa despair time#drdt#eden tobisa#drdt eden

You should watch Jack vs. Webtoons video on Lore Olympus before it gets wrongfully taken down.
His video pointed out something I wasn’t able to put into words until now. Lore Olympus has a real bad dialect problem. One second the characters are talking like they’re in a Shakespeare play which makes sense, sense they’re gods or what not. The next second you’ll have characters saying shit like “blue balls” “clout chaser” and “you’ve got a young wife with a fat ass”. It probably wouldn’t bother me if certain people talked a certain way like how Hera doesn’t use any slang and how Hermes uses some but all the characters vocabulary are the exact same.
Honestly I can look past the art and it’s inconsistencies but having dialect jump from regal to tiktok facebook slang makes my brain hurt more than glossy lipped Hades and bug eyed Persephone.
I checked it out, it's pretty great haha and yesss this is something that's been discussed before but I haven't really ever made a post about, the dialogue is CONSTANTLY flip-flopping between royal talk and "hello fellow teens" quipping. Sometimes it feels like it's trying to be like Marvel and then other times it feels like it's trying to be Bridgerton. I can think of no better example than all of the "pedigree" talk, it makes me squirm every time I read it because in the modern context of LO, it SCREAMS eugenics. The whole B-grade goddess thing made sense, until they started talking about Persephone like a poodle:
But then you ALSO get INCREDIBLY stiff dialogue that makes it seem like the comic is either being written by AI or Rachel is actually a real life version of Michael Afton post-scoop:
And yes, there is a tinfoil hat theory that LO is being written by bots at this point because I don't know how a single person could write something so tonally confused. That said, I do think the more reasonable explanation is that Rachel is likely copying dialogue from shows and movies she's watching and just tweaking it slightly before slapping it into LO. She's not observing why the dialogue works in the media she likes, she just knows she likes it and slaps it in there without any regard for context, tone of voice, or personality.
And that leads to, as you said, all the characters sounding the exact same, and that metric by which they all sound the same changes all the time. I think at this point the only reason we haven't seen Hera dropping TikTok language is because she hasn't been onscreen long enough for her to get the chance LMAO That said, we've definitely gotten some weird inconsistent dialogue with Hera as well:
(like she's essentially saying the exact same thing across both of these panels but one is being said by an adult and the other is being said by a teenager lmao)
I think the dialogue is definitely one of the most glaring issues with LO, among all of its other problems. It just never feels like it's being written by a human, there are problems with this even as far back as S1 but it's become especially apparent in S2 onwards.
To finish off this ask, here's one of my favorite dialogue mishaps in the entire series, from S1, in which Apollo literally adopts an askew English accent:

A little reflection on lore and AUs
This is something that's been roaming in my mind for a while, I just want to put it down on "paper".
All of us have their main AU. And with AU, I mean a universe where their characters are canon in the KND lore and live their own adventures. All of us have a main timeline with the main characters that will go on living their lives and adventures.
This AU can generate more AUs within it, where little things change, and these will be labeled as "AUs" by the creator since they derive from the main plot but then develop into something else. And these kinds of AUs are fun because you can explore different possibilities within your own story!
Now, that being said, let's talk about "adding someone else's OC into your story". I see it can have 4 main situations:
The OCs and their lore are now fused with your own, and you accept the existence of said OCs in your story since they don't change the end result, if anything they make it funnier to achieve;
The OCs are a different AU and you know it, and you just play it as a different AU from your plot, it's just for fun;
This is a "different universes meeting" kind of deal, a portal opened somewhere, and now the AUs are interacting. They won't change their final story, but this is a fun little moment that can be canon or not;
You acknowledge these OCs may exist in your own universe but also specify that, even if they might have the same story and personalities, they also might be a different experience from the main AU the creator invented for them. They just exist in your universe, but they are not the same exact people.
I love the 3rd plotline a lot, I find myself doing that but with past and future, having them meet for the lolz (even if it's just an AU into my story). I am also up for RPing AUs meeting because I find the concept really funny and interesting, with characters explaining their deal and then going on adventures together (also because let's be real, Penny ain't gonna meet anyone's OC anytime soon since there's age difference).
But when I introduced the idea that @artsygirl0315's Sector PHP meets Irwin I started diving into the 4th case: these OCs might exist in my universe but they are not the exact same.
As an example, still using Sector PHP: let's say I will have them show up for the Nightmare War and help others win it. They will be canon in that part of the lore (if the creator wants), but of course, in their main story the Nightmare War never happened and they will never experience it, and I won't force them to add it to their canon, since this is completely my creation and *I* only know how to develop and end.
Another example (sorry for dragging you in but this is relevant lol), is @roguephenon, who has the plan to make Penny canon in his AU story, but she's gonna be a different version of Penny, even if they might end up having the same main traits. He can have Penny do what he wants, and he can modify her a bit, but still, Penny is now canon in my AU and his AU too! Maybe one day these two will also meet and tbh I LIVE to see that moment!
Honestly, usually, the fandoms I was in were canon-oriented, there weren't too many OCs, and if there were, I and other creators would go the 3rd route and have AUs somehow meet.
This is the first time I find myself actually wondering if I can make it somehow canon that someone else's OC exists in my AU. And I like it!
Of course, if you don't like the idea just hit me up (literally, with a bat) and say you don't want your OC into my lore but you're up for AUs meeting or whatever you prefer!
So far, I am just playing around with OCs meeting and having fun but... well, I do need people for the Nightmare War LMAO.
What do you think? What is your favorite thing to play?

we didn't even see Sevika's reaction to Isha dying... she didn't say a damned word since episode 4 from what I remember. like is her being on the council supposed to be a fix all to the shit Piltover's done? It doesn't even look like there's any other Zaunites there it's just her.
Cait and Vi barely even argued before fucking in a prison cell like Caitlyn didn't become a dictator and spent the entire Act 1-2 time skip authorizing and causing terror in the Undercity but there's one comment we saw in the trailer talking about her having Ambessa as her right hand and thats it, as if Caitlyn didn't have anything else to idk apologize for?? Did I miss something??
She smacked Vi with her gun and nearly murdered a child the last time they'd seen each other before episode 6, but nothing of Cait's downward spiral in the first few episodes was addressed outside of just the connection with Ambessa and that was barely! She's a fucking adult and we didn't even hear her say sorry. She doesn't apologize to Vi.
Vi woke up, found out her sister was locked up, fought with her ex who's spent the past like 4 episodes being a full out fascist.
"she wasn't there for my benefit. You didn't trust me to follow through" she says that as if that one dude wouldn't have killed her if Jinx hadn't been there? like baby you wouldn't have followed through because you would be dead!
"can you blame me? How long were you sidled up with that shifty, self serving war pig? She oinked poison in your ear and you just ate it!"
"I know!"
And Caitlyn saying multiple times about not being able to erase our mistakes and good deeds not crossing out our crimes, while just.... going on to not acknowledge the full scope of her own war crimes.
And then after getting locked up by Jinx and being told she's gonna go kill herself in so many words, Vi... acts like that's not what was going on with her? it's not even addressed as an urgent thing it's as if she was just like "no fuck you sis I won't fight for your cause cause I'm an unpredictable rebel" and not implying that she was gonna go off herself.
it's just a moment for Vi to beat herself up more and go on about how Caitlyn was right about how she shouldn't trust Jinx and that she went behind her back, that she chooses wrong every time and that because of her decisions she's lost everyone.
She didn't choose wrong when she stopped Caitlyn from killing Jinx and Isha in episode 3.
but the only response to Vi beating herself up Caitlyn has is to point out she'd moved all the guards to the Hexgates and to say that she's gotten a bit predictable.
and then the sex scene happens. In the jail cell Jinx had spent the entire time skip, one long enough that Vi's hair is grown out, trapped in festering alone thinking about dying.
just wow, what an atmosphere, how romantic
just saw that Amanda has said in a Q&A abt episode 8 that them doing it in the cell was a way of "Vi reclaiming her prison trauma" which is....... a decision. the idea is there but fuck the execution sucked man lmao
VI didn't even react to Ekko being back!
and to have Vi in their ending clip say she's "the dirt under her nails, cupcake. Nothing's gonna clean me out"
what the actual fuck? is that supposed to be cute after all the comments Caitlyn's made about Zaunite being lesser, being animals, saying that it's in her blood? something she doesn't address or grow from or apologize for?
are we supposed to believe that everything that was inflicted on the Undercity by Piltover is just water under the bridge now cause some magic robots fucked shit up for a bit? no acknowledgement of the oppression or using chemical warfare on innocent people or arresting people without cause, or the hundreds of other examples of Piltover lording themselves over the Undercity that happened before the show. The conditions they allowed and thrived off of, the ones that led to Zaun being something needed in the first place.
everything in terms of that foundational conflict feels like it was just completely dropped to focus on the magic plot and Ambessa and it's just... not front lined again. Ambessa did not cause the conditions in Zaun, she made things worse for them, but she wasn't in Piltover for the large majority of this. In the grand scheme of Piltover / Zaun she is an incredibly new player in that fight and came in on the side of the oppressors knowingly and took that to her advantage. Same with Hextech and stuff, this conflict goes so much further back then that and it's wounds cannot be healed by lackluster and minimal effort and a refusal to acknowledge how in the wrong Piltover has been. The pain and suffering caused throughout the decades at the hands of Enforcers, long before Hextech or Ambessa came into the picture.
idk, for me it was just disappointing and a let down ending for a season I was otherwise really enjoying.
#Oh! And the fucking scientist gets a happy ending! Isn't that great! Whoo!#i really loved watching them torture vander more and then have him just live on happily that was fantastic#:))))#/ sarcasm#not dc#arcane#arcane spoilers#okay im just gonna post this and move on ive got better stuff to do like finishing my janet rant KDNDJDKKSKS#tw suicide mention

saw one of your old posts about Davina and Bonnie. I know you ship Klonnie and I was curious if you think Klavina?(klaus/davinas) dynamic is what Klonnie’s would’ve started off as
I felt like Bonnie was robbed in canon but Davina is elevated in the show even when she’s kicked aside she still gets her happy ending by the end of it all.
Hiii!
So, while I used to be so against her, towards the end of the show's run, I didn't mind Davina because, at the end of a very long day, she was a kid caught in supernatural business. However, it was painfully obvious to me that Davina was who they refused to let Bonnie be. She was their pitiful attempt to erase Bonnie. However, it didn't work because she was quickly cast aside, which I believe was because they never had a real purpose for her EXCEPT to erase Bonnie.
With all that said, yes, the way Davina kept her foot on Klaus's neck would have been identical to how I imagined Bonnie would be. We already saw her be that way with Damon. Damon couldn't pass gas without Bonnie showing up to make sure no one else smelled it lmao.
The possibilities in which the two of them would eventually warm up to one another are endless, and I feel like every Klonnie story in existence has found its own ways of showcasing how the two of them would eventually come together.
I am a SUCKER for forced proximity which I think works excellent for Enemies to Lovers tropes. But I also think the two of them would just naturally realize that they're two sides of the same coin and find their stake in each other's lives that way.
(This next part is me rambling and has nothing to do with what you asked, so you can skip past the italicized text if you want lol.)
People always see Bonnie as this moral beacon that is full of light but if you really dig deep, Bonnie is a very dark character. She is the antithesis of evil, which does not always equate to what we define as 'good.' Bonnie's goodness is rooted in the way she masters evil, and she knows how and when to tap in. (For example: Trying to kill Damon by fire.)
Most "good' characters we see in media today aren't actually good, they're harmless. Elena is a perfect example of this. Just because she was physically unable to hurt a fly doesn't mean she was a good person. Her selfishness placed Bonnie in ugly situations plenty of times, but it was brushed off because she was trying to be good. (Think of how Seattle responded to the BLM protests and how it negatively affected the whole movement. They 'meant' well, but we caught the fire behind that mess.)
On the flip side, Bonnie would be classified as an 'extremist' if she was in a political landscape. That said, Klaus is also an extremist but on the opposite end. (Think 'right-wing' and 'left-wing' but without the political connotations.) In my opinion, this is why they work so well together but they're bound to bump heads because of it.
(And now, back to Klonnie!)
There are so many commonalities between the two of them that make shipping Klonnie so fun.
Similar to how two siblings can grow up in the same house and face the same trauma but end up polar opposites of one another, that's how I view Klonnie's commonalities (minus the sibling bit, obviously). They both faced similar traumas, but how they processed it turned them into different people. Klaus is the Yin to Bonnie's Yang.
Shared Traumas:
Parental Negligence
Bonnie: Rudy was negligent after Abby left him and Bonnie and thus Bonnie grew up alone with only Grams who failed to teach Bonnie about her heritage. (I'm aware it was against Rudy's wishes but I'm still side-eyeing lol.)
Klaus: Esther was negligent in keeping his father's identity from him and allowing her husband to abuse him. Also, she created that necklace to weaken him for her own selfishness, thus putting the target on his back when it came to Mikael.
Abandonment
Bonnie: Her mother walked out on her for no legitimate reason. Her father was always gone and Grams was an alcoholic (so they say). Even the people in her life were emotionally absent. Then you have her friends who left her to deal with the consequences of magic alone.
Klaus: After killing their mother, he had a deep fear of his siblings abandoning him. Therefore, he became obsessed with loyalty. His biological father was nowhere to be found until a thousand years later.
For brevity's sake, I'll stop with those two but they have others.
How they processed these traumas is so interesting:
They both gained an unnatural sense of loyalty, which lies in the fear of abandonment. Klaus forced loyalty onto others, while Bonnie gave loyalty to those who never earned it or didn't deserve it.
Bonnie became codependent on her friends because she had no one else, and Klaus became co-dependent on his family for the same.
Bonnie became overburdened by responsibility. She became everyone's 'go-to' for morality and protection, which gave her a skewed sense of importance, but it also burned her out. Klaus became controlling and constantly sought validation (from Elijah in particular).
Klaus ruled through fear because of Mikael's abuse. Everyone's acceptance of Mikael's abuse sort of validated his use of fear as a way of controlling people. Bonnie used her morality as a means of control for both herself and others.
Klaus is very self-loathing, and while Bonnie doesn't initially appear to be that way, she is too. Her strong moral code is just that, her way of torturing herself. (For example: Constantly sacrificing herself for 'good' simply because she has the duty of wielding magic.)
If Klaus controlled his siblings, Bonnie's control came with how she wielded that moral compass of hers. Seeing everyone around her live freely was triggering because she had to be responsible so early in her life. She never got to make mistakes. Mistakes meant abandonment to her, so she walked a fine line and tried to force others to do the same. (This may be why she struggled with her magic so often. I often wondered if the spirits were actually punishing her or if she was self-actualizing and punishing herself subconsciously.)
This is the tip of the iceberg with these two, but can you already see the pattern? My favorite aspect is how one craves what the other has. Klaus craves loyalty, and Bonnie craves control. They both want what the other (seemingly) has.
#klonnie#anonymous#asks#just me rambling about two idiots I can never let go of#anti-davina#anti-elena#not really but i'm tagging it just in case someone gets snarky

Spitballs another ref complete, soma!! She is the one I ship mainly with fang in Regular undertale setting and in her Canon og setting with Makoto. Shes just a lovely lil siren out to have a good time :D and she love her hubband and wife allot.
About soma below!
- she's a fire demon/siren hybrid. She's not meant to look like that for a siren. So she's considered "ugly" to siren standards and thata why her had is broken, sirens tried to bash her head when she was a baby to kill her, thinking she was a bad omen.
- she can turn ablaze like fire, and spit oil like ink that increases the intensity of it to a point that she can make fire happen underwater and it is difficult to put out. If she inks, and sets it ablaze. Consider that an explosion waiting to happen.
- Soma doesn't like using her fire powers as they hurt her allot due to her sensitive skin, her hybrid powers sadly are not stable.
- she used to have horns! But those opened cracks on her cranium are the result of them being gone :,)
- her father is the king of firedemons, and she has no idea what that even means LMAO
-Soma was raised by Orca sirens, hence her mimicing their colors. She can click and whistle like an Orca and dolphin and does this frequently to lure dolphins to kill and eat them.
- she is extremely aggressive to male sirens and prefers they stay away due to past experiences, unless they show an ounce of kindness to her. She will take that as mate worthy and try to court with them (the mistake fang did.). However she has a immense curiosity of the land beasts and humans, finding them very interesting.
-Soma is really clingy and sweet once she's out of her shell. She does like making friends and will do her best to learn their mannerisms to not make them uncomfortable! She knows her customs are different to those on land.
-her tentacles can shift to legs when she's on land, she's a little wobbly but it works PFNG
-Soma has a beak like teeth and three tongues. Her venom is similar to that of a blue ringed octopus but multiplied to her size, she can take down even the largest sirens with it and tear their throats or stomachs open with her mouth. She's genuinly horrifying and WILL make example of someone that tries to hurt her partners or babies
-Soma has two babies with makoto and fang! But in undertale au, it's only one baby with fang.
-in undertale au, soma is simply a siren monster that lives in the surface, most stories where she meets folks is because they either went to the surface or she accidentally fell to the underground through a stream that led her there.
#she was very much inspired from a siren au fic with skull#and just became her own thing and i love her sm shes my lil sea princess babygirl#shes very sweet and gentle despite the cannibal situation but she learns to eat regular food instead of other sirens HRKDM#but for context fire demons are the skeleton monsters in my og story like my oc lewis#i made them to basically make sense of having skeleton ocs in my og stuff cause lewis was the first oc and i made him JRKDKFK FOR FUN NOT#EVEN for undertale so i was like “i want him in my shit” so this race exisrs now#and they have a king called hades#aorry im rambling i just get excited about ocs wah..#ANYWAY#art#my art#my ocs#soma#siren#monster#monster oc#siren oc#creature design

I came here today (after months of absence) to tell that my mind has been brainstorming something my bff told me a few days ago and it's STILL bugs me...
Apparently, there's a thing called "Midday horror" (i'm not sure how exactly it's called in English) and it's referring to a sudden feel of dread at noon. The articles always give as example the perfect summer day, clear sky, hot weather, but suddenly there's no any sounds: no birds chirping or cicadas, grass and trees are motionless cause there's no wind at all and the sky seems to be not blue but grey.
All of that seems to throw a huge way of dread on people, and my bff has experienced this a whole bunch of times. And i have NEVER felt anything even close to that....
She showed me some picks that trigger her in the same way and i'm just.... Well it's just a field, pretty photo? No???
You know, this type of photos... Do this picks make you uncomfortable?
The almighty Internet says it's mostly Slavic countries fenomen. We have a lot of mythological creatures that are rooted in Noon time and field work and usually kill people or drive people crazy exactly at Midday, like Poludnitsa (Lady Midday), but I truly think it goes to any country in which many people used to plow the fields in the past (I know that Greek people had pretty same mythological plot with Pan)
I'm sure there's enough of logical explanations of this fenomen, but it STILL bugs me... I kinda want to experience this lmao

Sighhh so I really do hate to talk about the forums at all, because from what I saw, that place is an absolute shitstorm that's a headache to even begin to describe but...I just wanna reinforce a point I've been making for ages and give further proof of it. Someone may say it's dumb I'm repeating myself like that, but it's just the people I call out are very fucking stupid, and need things endlessly explained to them so they can have hopefully a shred of realization, and even then that's being too optimistic for their intelligence.
Sooo Evie, one of the morons attacking some good people I care about, specifically Club, one of my most best internet friends, and Tri, a person I don't know quite as well, but still a kind and calm person I know I can trust.
So the only reason people like her are attacking these two is bigotry. Purely bigotry. Club is autistic, and Tri is asexual, so asses who've never matured past high school like to target minorities like them to be cOoL aNd EdGy lolll.
I've already provided so much proof for this but...why not add some more, because as I've said, it's very unfortunately necessary when the bad people I have to deal with are completely brain-dead. So the forums, I've looked at the posts about them, and internally groaned at the thought of ever having to cover that shit myself. This will hopefully be the only time I do so. In the forums, I've seen Evie use slurs. Examples include...http://web.archive.org/web/20240516215957/https://www.deviantart.com/forum/community/complaints/2736800
https://www.deviantart.com/comments/18/2689626/5031912084 (In EdelgardMoon's thread...also Evie don't think your cringe-ass UWUifying the word gives you a pass lol, we know what you're trying to say.) AND SHE ALSO SAYS THE FUCKING N-SLUR IN EnryoAlpha's THREAD??? (Albeit once again butchered bc I guess this bitch thinks being SOOO QUIRKY AND RANDOM RAWR HEHEHEE XD makes it okay to say horrendous things lmao.)
Anyways Evie, it's clear to me you're a nasty person who doesn't give two shits about other people, you probably vomit at the very thought of giving another human being basic respect. You don't want to call out genuinely horrible people to help and protect others honey, nah, you just want to make up crap excuses for your bigotry, and it shows. I've got you in a corner, and I'm eagerly awaiting your excuses to escape. You're lucky you got that tail between your legs, or that kick in the groin would be real painful!
Anndd also, you may piss and whine about me harassing you or whatever lol, but I'm not gonna hear that shit when you actually do that for real everyday for funsies. Though I know you really are a coward, considering the fact on this very website you contacted me only to block me from saying anything else! XD
Fight the battles you start dear, lmao. You acting the way you do doesn't make you cool or funny, you're just pathetic and it's sad you're a full grown woman spending your life like this.
Anyways bye bye, God these people are getting more and more pathetic and laughable.
Agreed, regardless of her defense she might wish to give. Of note, she flunked school, so the school part may have another meaning.

Hey amongst all of this I just wanna say I really like how this comic has handled Viscous and this kind of abuse.
We start off with her losing the other cubs in her litter, no one believing Hope would survive, and seeing her not having a fourth leg as proof of that. Viscous won't lose another cub and holds onto her but doesn't move past that grief.
In order to keep her cub alive, she carries her around. She doesn't let her do things for herself that could potentially harm another one of her legs and stop her from walking altogether. An ableist stance, yeah, but you can see where the concern is coming from.
Giving her no independence is obviously not great and it grows from there. We can see where the behaviour has stemmed from. It's a grief filled flavour of control, a distance in emotion, and an inability to see what Hope can do in favour of focusing on what she can't. She hasn't grown past the whole "this is my last cub I can't let her die too" situation enough to see Hope as a person, seemingly only really getting involved when either prompted, or when Hope is doing something she deems dangerous.
Then of course we have the Jasper situation. The forced compliance over a fear of a repeat of the cacklers situation. She's an example of a mother not leaving an abusive situation 'for the kids', due to that reliance. The fear of losing the last cub from that litter and the fear of what would happen to the pride without Jasper is keeping her in-line. She can't see past these things, she's stuck in the system with Jasper feeding into it all.
But none of this is used to justify her actions. Her single minded focus on keeping the last cub alive despite the odds have been twisted over time, growing into what it is now. She hasn't healed from anything and has no real space to do so. You've framed her decisions in such a way that we can fill in the gaps and see this progression, but without it in any way suggesting a loving and caring relationship with Hope. She's not sympathetic in a way that says she loves anf cared for her, she's sympathetic in that we can see where it started and what it's become and can be sympathetic for how it started.
The thing with Viscous is that she makes sense. She's not just Like That or cartoonishly cruel, she makes sense. She doesn't really see Hope as a person so she doesn't have a name until much later. She lashes out because her daughter disobeyed her and gave her the name Hopeless, and thinking about it, you can see where that name stems from as well. She assumed to be hopeless from the very beginning, and while Viscous focused on keeping her alive, there has always been that lack of hope. That lack of belief that Hope could be anything but a tripod dead weight that's gonna die like the other cubs the second Vicious loses control over her.
You haven't once suggested that Vicious has done the right thing or that she's justified. You've shown us how she got here in a way that makes sense, and in a way that we don't need any of the cast to outright tell us what's going on.
I may not be right about this since it's just my interpretation, but I wanted to chime in and share how well I think Vicious has been written. She's an antagonist who's motivations make a lot of sense, but who is still very much an antagonist and very much not justified in her actions and that's what makes her a great character. If she were written more sympathetically, she wouldn't be nearly as good for the story!
Sorry for the rambling, your comic and characterisation are just so good it brings the words outta me lmao
OH STOP IT YOU <33
Thank you so much for this sweet ask. It was truly a joy to read and we always appreciate people taking the time to "ramble" in our inbox, don't ever apologise for that.
But yeah, I always worry about Vicious's portrayal because we wanted to show just enough for people to fill in gaps themselves because sometimes I wonder if things can come across as heavy handed or obvious in our portrayal of abuse.
Hearing all of this is always such a comfort, so thanks so much yee <333 - RJ

Omg hi-
I was reading your theories rn and this one theory caught my eye- the one about Nene possibly being the culprit behind all of this- THAT SOUNDS SO INTERESTING THO?!?!
And omg this does seem like a possibility!! Because let's take the example of that one chapter where little amane, using all the tags, wished to meet nene again. I think that in a way really strongly Kickstarted the whole chaos, if I were to put it that way. Because nene somehow gets involved with the past of the yugis, I wouldn't be surprised if nene does indirectly or directly have a hand in some changes in amane's life. Then there's another thing with amane changing his fate completely, what if that bit is related to this??
Lmao that last line also makes me wonder, just what did kako change that the whole fucking present got altered so much?! Aidairo are truly creative-
I would really really love your input on this!! Do tell me if I missed something out! It's been a LONG while since I deep dived into tbhk theories, especially the old ones, anyways love your work a lot <33
Hiiiiiii Wow!! THANK YUUUUUUUU 🧡🧡
Well, Nene is just as mysterious as the twins, the difference is that she hasn't given us any clues about anything at all. I mean, we know that Hanako killed his own brother, so we're trying to find out why and how it happened, the focus is on him.
But what about Nene? Since we don't have a point to focus on her, we just follow the story, but technically, we know more about Hanako than about Nene.
What do we know about her? That she had two hamsters with strange names and that she wants to find love. We don't know who her parents are, what they do, her family, I mean, Nene has purification powers, where did that come from??
Teru knows, and so does Hanako, but nothing has been said about it. Even Tsukasa changed his mind about trying to hurt Nene in mirror hell (when he was going to slam her face against the floor). Tsukasa guided her to some places in the flow of time, meaning he needs her to be able to change events.
And of course, she herself can travel through time without even bothering to think how or why. Let's assume she accepted that finding little Amane was just a dream, but we know it wasn't. The end of the chapter clearly shows him wanting to meet her again, and well, she wasn't there to "dream" about it anymore. It was real.
So, the mystery of Nene, there is something important about her that not even she knows. Of course, she's the protagonist, so she would have to have a major role, but if Nene is the villain, I imagine it's unintentional.
When she alters events and does things without thinking too much, without even questioning whether she is being manipulated. It doesn't make her the villain, but it makes her the one to blame for the events.
She changed little things in the past, but those little things had a big consequence. She took his keys, she and Kou made little Tsukasa return, and yes, little Amane and the desire to meet her again.
Of all the events, I believe that the keys and making Tsukasa return were the ones that brought the most changes to Amane's destiny, remembering that Nene taking the key was something that Tsukasa planned, he threw her there on purpose.
So up until now, Nene was being used as a tool by the twins from the beginning. Because she can do things they can't (like remove the yorishiros)
Chaos began when Nene agreed to do everything they asked without even thinking about it.
It's curious, but it seems that Kako changed something related to the festival, that's what it seems, 12-year-old Tsukasa wouldn't have reappeared for nothing, and all this confusion started at the festival, linking the two festivals at different times. Besides that mysterious hand talking about an "incident".
So, I think it was at that time.
Thank youuuuuuuuuu I'm happy to know that!!!!!!!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!
🧡🧡🧡🧡

what are your relationship hcs for ninajack?
chat this deleted my work so this is way more delayed than played
but thank you for asking
more under cut im a yapper abt them </3
so as kind of a foundation i think nina and jack have a super opposites attract relationship and i kind of touched on that in my phys hc post (check that out if you enjoy this content bee tee dubs)
for example, nina is super duper messy while jack is obsessively organized and clean from being an ocd doctor man
they really level each other out in an almost healing way and that's part of why i love this ship sm lmao
nina keeps jack from trying to be painfully perfect and he keeps her from being dangerously reckless and laidback
they also fit under a princess and knight in shining armor type thing for me personally— and yes, i will explain LOL
nina, after being in a super neglectful and abusive relationship with jeff, gets to be with jack who's more attentive and caring towards nina, making her feel more like herself and leads her to being more in tune with princess treatment
jack also has relationship trauma, which i think anyone could guess if you've even just heard about the background story that the person who made sally's story made and not just seen the low quality mask photo story
(for those who DONT know that story and dont want spoilers for it i do suggest leaving the post now and reading it because it is a pretty common reference for the creepypasta fandom and i will be referencing big plot points)
so having the sacrificial college girlfriend (whos name i would look up but im currently on a roadtrip with shitty service) jack isn't used to getting anything back in return and/or being treated nicely without something sinister being behind it
but nina loves super unconditionally— which immediately contradicts that train of thought which would ultimately lead him to trusting her more and more over time til they're just at a point where they can both love each other without fear of the other person being similar to their past experiences and that's just so heartwarming urgrgrhh
the knight part really comes into play with nina being a bit clumsy and reckless because jack is constantly having to basically baby proof her experiences because she is so prone to creating problems
moving on— jack finds little acts of service that nina isnt really used to to show his love
like he'll make her a meal or get her jewelry or whatever just to make her day because its not something she got with jeff at all
which its more like it makes her month because she will not stop talking about it to anybody who will listen
that's just how she is— she loves very loudly
which is COMPLETELY NEW to jack considering that the sacrificial college girlfriend (i still havent googled her name my signal is somehow worse) was truly just there to lead a lamb to the slaughter
so when nina is actively seeking his affection and caring and loving for him it is such a new experience that i would think he wasn't quite sure what to do
guys hes a nerdy medical major white guy first and a demon second in my books he is an awkward man
but there's a want to be perfect for nina so he really fakes it til he makes it
but then nina is also a super-people-reader so when things dont line up she's immediately on his case
"hey man i thought you barely had any experience why are you good at kissing are you lying to me"
and then he gets a little embarrassed by it and hes like "i have no idea what you're talking about i'm just paying attention to your reactions"
she still doesnt believe him fully but she accepts it
they do cute shit together too
like they'll watch movies and tv and stuff together and cuddle
or nina will dress him up and buy him clothes (because like i said in the past post, jack is very copy and paste easy outfits and nina is obsessive with accessories and big outfits yada yada yada)
he'd probably let nina do just about anything tho as long as shes having fun and close to him hes pretty content
god i feel like i still have more lmk if you want more urgrgrhnmmhmf

My mum is a fucking hero to the autistic community in my opinion.
Context:
My identical twin sister and I are both diagnosed with autism however she was diagnosed at 4 or 5 and I was diagnosed at like 7 or 8 because the doctors (is that the right term lmao) thought it was more obvious with her (I didn’t know how else to word it I’m sorry in advance)
Anyways-
Even before either of us were diagnosed, my mum ALWAYS made sure to tell us in detail what we were doing. For example, when we walked past the nursery on a day that we didn’t have nursery, she’d say “We aren’t going to nursery today, we’re going somewhere else” or if we didn’t know what we were doing one day she’d say “we’re going to do this today, and then later we’re going to do that” yk?
I tended to ‘act out’ the most at school and I’d always get in trouble, specifically for the first 4 years of primary school. I had always seen myself as a bad child and so I told my mum my concerns. However she reassured me and said “No you definitely weren’t a bad child. You didn’t know how to express yourself or what you wanted or needed properly” istg I was close to tears—
Our first ever holiday was to Disneyland Paris in 2012, so we were both in Year 2 and like 5-6 years old. My principal had literally called my mum crazy for even attempting to take two neurodivergent children on a plane to a different country and he thought she would’ve wasted her money if it didn’t work. And she told him “True..but then I would never have known if I never even tried” she even told me she specifically chose Disneyland as our first holiday because she knew we would be more likely to want to go and try planes if it was something we were interested in.
My mum had borrowed a book from the library one day about autism because even we didn’t really get it. She sat us down and talked us through it and pointed out some things we do.
Then this year in April on the 2nd, to acknowledge Autism Acceptance Month/Day, she posted something on instagram (I can’t find what she posted but it had blue, the jigsaw and the ribbon). My sister and I explained why that would be offensive to some people in the community but we also said that we didn’t mind it. But then she took it down. We asked why she did it and we also said that we never told her to take it down and she said “Because if it’s offensive and harmful to you and your community, I don’t want to promote it”. Then that same day, we explained to her what’s acceptable and not and showed her this photo
And we explained what masking and stimming is. She then said to us “I hope you two feel comfortable enough to unmask in front of me and stim freely”
In conclusion, my mum is a fucking icon and I love her sm.

Turns out it's been a while since I've talked about Rachel's medical fetish art so it came as a shock to people when I mentioned it in the last post (I've got quite a few asks about it lmao) So I'm gonna enlighten y'all real quick on what I'm referring to, and yes, it's probably exactly what you're thinking of when you hear the word 'medical fetish'.
CONTENT WARNING: DISCUSSION OF MEDICAL FETISH ART AND DEPICTIONS OF NEEDLES!!!!
So the name "used_bandaid" is one Rachel started using back in the early to mid 2000's. She went by a LOT of different pennames back then, including but probably not limited to:
Pepper_maid
madame_issue
Usedbandaid/used_bandaid
Rach Alex
Rachel Royale
Raquel
Medical Tophat/Medical_Tophat
Frill_house
Gingerbreadcoffin (? this one's kinda weird because the link itself with this username just goes back to her used bandaid MySpace account , so idk if she ever actually used it or if it was even affiliated with her lol)
Now you're probably about to ask, "Puff, how do you know these are all her?" and that's because Rachel still had all of these accounts interlinked through her projects, primarily The Doctor Pepper Show. She seemed to change up usernames often just for the hell of it.
Anyways. I'm not gonna show much of it here because I do think it's better to leave certain things in the past, but there's a LOT of her old work that implies the stuff that's questionable/problematic in LO has always been a part of her identity as an artist (DDLG, hot pink self-insert MC, etc.)
One such example is "madame issue":
This is such a 3-in-1 smoking gun for everything we see in LO. The reference to bandaids (see: used bandaid, which was part of her URL slug for her old flickr where this drawing comes from), the hot pink color palette, and of course, the fact that this character is almost DEFINITELY a self-insert of Rachel, thanks to that shared name.
She's also stated in old commission/print posts that Madame Issue was the one print she wouldn't sell.
She doesn't explicitly say why but I think it's pretty safe to assume it's because Madame Issue is her.
We also have Eva, "the queen of medical fetish". And the tags are... pretty self-explanatory.
That said, that's as much as I'm gonna go into with her old art, because a lot of it does get quite personal with her and I don't really think it accomplishes much more to continue digging up old skeletons, at least not unless they can be seen as parallel to LO (which some of them are and I'll likely be sharing more of those ones in a later post).
That said, there ARE still pages that are accessible without the use of the Wayback Machine that advertise her as a medical fetish artist without the need for extensive digging. If you search up The Doctor Pepper Show on Google, you'll actually find a reddit thread asking what happened to Rachel's old work, and there are comments with loads of resources to access her pre-LO content. You'll also find the listing for The Doctor Pepper Show on The Webcomic List, which literally describes it as a medical fetish comic: "This is a comic set in a world where evil doctors rule, girls wear frilly underpants and people use their manners. *May I please blow your f**king head off?* This comic features Gothic dandys, EGL (Gothic lolitas) and medical fetish fashion. (Neo victorian setting)"
I'll let y'all do your own digging from here, there's a LOT to unpack honestly and while I can't keep you from doing your own research, practice due diligence with what you choose to share. Again, I don't think it's a crime in and of itself for Rachel to want to distance herself from her past as a medical fetish artist, so I think it's only really relevant to show the things that are clearly still influencing LO (like her love for the movie Lolita or the very clear sexualization of youthfulness). While we can try to leave the past where it is, she does still write LO with a lot of the most problematic features of her former identity, and it makes it all the more bizarre that if she is trying to distance herself from it all, then why would she stick with one of the pennames that's the most easily tied back to medical fetishism?
TL ; DR: Rachel started off online with medical fetish and gothic lolita art (at least as far back as we can trace it) and elements of that past are still present in LO today. Use that info responsibly lol
