Was watching Game of Death the other day. Bruce Lee’s character is so funny and sassy(at least in the unreleased scenes), I just had to put my guy in this iconic pose to show my gratitude

So it’s Kabru right. Laios’s regent is Kabru. If anything happened to Laios, Kabru would have regency. He would have control over the kingdom. If he wanted. Because he knows how to kill people and could easily take that power for himself. But he won’t, because he likes Laios and thinks he’s a good king. But he could.

I didn’t realize Kabru had This much power. He’s essentially next-in-line until Laios produces an heir.

Danny accepts that because of his half dead status he won't be able to become an astronaut and he has to find a different way to feed his space obsession.

He decides to get really into astromancy (yes, the magic. He already knows everything about astronomy). He gets himself the more spiritual star charts, old surprisingly authentic tomes about the art and divination cards to go with it all and gets to learning.

Tbh he kind of went into this not expecting much but it turns out he had homo magus heritage from his Nightingale roots and he actually manages to call upon the power of the stars.

He figures he can blame the vaporized wall on ghosts.

Meanwhile, a foreboding feeling like cold shivers run down the spines of several magic users that they can only describe as "a child having figured out they need to switch off the safety on their mini nuke launcher in order to fire it"

The JLD is scrambling to locate the source of the surge in magic power before someone with bad intentions can get there.

Just wanted to say, I love your Mouse mom and Rat dad. The artwork gives me Ghibli vibes and love how you draw eyes and expressions.

But I do have a few questions. Does Mariela have/had parents? I recall that her cousin is a grasshopper mouse, so is Mariela adopted? If her parents are still around, how would they react to her being a mother?

Mariella's own mother was sickly and passed away when she was a baby, she doesn't have brothers or sisters which is very unusual for a mouse. Her grandparents raised her and she had aunties and uncles of course but she quietly longs for the mother and siblings she didn't get to have

going through my old journals as part of therapy homework and i'm reading a section written in the emotional wreckage of a full-on breakdown when i get hit with this line:

#like you were on the ground biting the carpet and dry sobbing while you wrote that and still. good fucking point #not a shitpost #cptsd #and it's true. there's never a satisfying answer #the truth is i know why i wasn't loved #i analyzed my parent's traumas and abuse to death. i understand why i alienated and was alienated from my siblings #i know why my mom was too overwhelmed to be capable of nurturing #i know why my dad vanished into addiction and avoidance #the details of our cycles of trauma and cptsd and family history i have a phd in all of it #i understood perfectly. i spent years studying and now i knew the answer #and guess what? IT WAS NOT SATISFYING!!!#because they still didn't love me! and i still couldn't change that!#it was still a completely unsatisfying state of affairs!#so like. when the people who are supposed to love you...don't.#when the people who are supposed to take care of you...fail to #you can look for answers and reasons and explanations #but that's not actually going to FIX your situation.#and it's probably not within your ability TO fix the situation.
