The best part of learning a second language is how rewarding it feels to finally be able to use it. Like, when I first started learning German, I sincerely thought I wouldn’t ever become good enough to read or speak it. But now I can do both. And sure, I have an accent when I speak it and sometimes I need to translate some words when I’m reading a comment or something. But I’ve definitely improved since I started learning it a year ago. I was watching this video of this guy who was talking about his journey with learning German (which he did completely in German) and I remember thinking “Wow, I’ll never get to that level of proficiency.” But then I watched the same video a couple weeks ago and I could understand a good amount of what he was saying! Sure I have room for improvement (as everyone does when it comes to language learning lol) but idk I’m just really proud of myself is all :D

probably a shrimp po boy. i’m honestly not quite sure where thoughts come from but i suppose they come from everything? your brain’s reaction to and processing of external stimuli? and i’m verrrry indecisive but most likely peter parker or hermione granger, just the characters that influenced me the most when i was younger.

Tw death & mourning.

I remember waking up at 7am after having drawn fanart of Techno for an au idea I had. I remember vividly reaching for my phone and seeing the first notification from Philza. I was so confused, and scrolled through my entire notification tl, thinking it was some cruel joke. The whole world was playing a prank on me, and I was the fool. I watched the video and sobbed constantly. My friend had given me a little pig plush earlier that year because I wasn’t able to get the techno youtooz and I cradled that teddy and sobbed so hard. For hours.

I had to go to the allotment to help out and I felt numb, knowing that he was gone. I kept telling myself “Technoblade didn’t raise no bitch” and kept going at it. I have projects still waiting to be completed in his honour but school smashed me like a truck. I’ll hopefully get the Antarctic empire crochet blanket done soon.

It sucks because I still hope. I still wish that he posts a tweet or on the YouTube community tab something like “heaven got boring need video soon” or anything. I still think he’ll come back. It hurts. I miss him so much. And I’ll commemorate him in everything I do. I owe him the motto that pushed me to try out for stuff i’d normally stay away from, I owe him my motivation in art, I owe him my calmness when I was watching his streams whilst revising for exams.

Every single step in my life is in his memory and it felt a little cringe to say it but writing it down, it’s not. He’s inspired me, and so many others, the least I can do is keep going for him. Technoblade never dies, and he never shall as long as we keep his memory alive, even if in mundane things like growing a yellow rose in your allotment named after him.

Have you done a different smau besides FBI or was it your first one?

fbi open up is technically my first smau that i planned and actually executed! i have a wee attempt at this on my other (kpop) blog but i abandoned it. in my long years of being on the internets i’ve only done the usual fanfics but i’ve always wanted to try an smau and i’m so glad it turned out well :>
