Absolutely 100% feel your pain writing SPM from Mario's perspective. Not only did I deeply underestimate how many words it would generate but also how much Mr. L loves hearing himself talk and hates not being Paid Attention to

omg Luigi in his cringe-fail, evil form is that guy who muscles everyone out of the way to be in the middle of the camera shot, dragging his thirtieth over-engineered robot with him. He is insufferable and I love him for it.

Seriously, though, the man is needy af and 100% hijacks my document for like, five pages of self-absorbed monologue, it's hilarious.

You know, personally, I care more about the fact that Luigi Mangione (allegedly) went out and shot a guy who was making millions off the exploitation and suffering of thousands of people (along with carefully constructed props to make his message and motives clear) than about who he was following on twitter. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE MARIO MOVIE!

- Jack Black’s Bowser is as amazing as you think he’ll be

- Chris Pratt’s Mario is good. Not GREAT, but he does actually put effort into it and it didn’t kill the movie as much as I thought it would.

- The animation is gorgeous. Like, seriously. The action was fun and bouncy, the settings were the perfect blend of silly cartoon and legitimately pretty, and the animation of the power-up was especially fun.

- Don’t expect a super complex story. It is Mario at the end of the day.

- There are a lot of fun easter eggs regarding classic Nintendo games, especially classic Mario games.

- Don’t get your hopes up for Wario, Waluigi, Daisy, or Rosalina; There are cameos for Pauline and the Yoshis though!

- The music is awesome. Like, it’s reimagining’s of classic Mario soundtracks as cinematic music and its really a ton of fun!

- All in all, a good movie. Above all else its just FUN. I definitely recommend it, at the very least for the eyecandy and music.

- You WILL be disappointed how little Luigi is in the movie

- They make Luigi the most likeable little guy and BARELY USE HIM

- Guys you dont understand LUIGI’S MOM IS PROUD OF HIM :( Why do they not use him more

- There needs to be a Luigi’s Mansion movie let him be the main character or else

I have seen princess peach being really supportive about the bowuigi relationship or princess peach being really against the relationship

I’ve seen Princess peach, be heartbroken and field, betrayed by Bowser and Luigi getting into a relationship and I’ve seen Princess peach be severely relieved

Do you know what I haven’t seen Princess peach being as worried as Mario like she loves Luigi and wants him to be happy but she’s not sure if Bowser is the one who can give him that happiness

Just imagine her and Mario sitting on the couch in the brothers cottage waiting for weegee to come home from his date. she’s in overalls just in case if he doesn’t come home so that way both her and Mario can very quickly go and rescue Luigi 

When Luigi finally does come back both her and Mario tackle him, asking him a bunch of questions while simultaneously checking if he’s ok

They love lu and will fight anyone who dares to hurt him emotionally or physically that person will have a funeral
