God, I hope I manage to get people reading this fic even a HUNDREDTH as invested in this character and the family I completely invented out of whole cloth for him who have been living rent-free in my head for like two years now and steadfastly refused to make a story work until now, because I needed to get a good bit out of my head before I went to sleep, made myself cry because I cry ABSURDLY easily, and now it’s like four hours later and I need to actually get to FUCKING BED ALREADY but words keep coming, my fic is too sad, and I use a CPAP that already finds my face shape tricky and don’t want to combine that with my messy crying.

I’m just saying, it’s not fair I inflict this on myself while WRITING it. Rereading it later, sure, I’m fine with that, but writing it? What am I doing, using these characters as an outlet for emotional catharsis? Gross. Inefficient. I can’t keep writing when I need to routinely stop and wipe my eyes.

Muse is the main character a human boy who is just trying his best who gets swooped up into helping a dragon girl save her kingdom and the magical dimension while also fighting to preserve his home town!

Plume a dragon girl (plume, bloom you get the gist) who somehow ended up on earth is now tasked to find help to save her people and mother while also discovering the beauty of earth

Thea the daughter of an urban development company ceo and the love interest of muse (did i get myself this invested into a ship that i made it canon here… yes.) she’s a frail girl but is forced to step in as her fathers ideas turn from helpful to greedy and destructive

Orianne Thea and Muse’s friend and the more motherly of the group but faced with difficult circumstances and changes in her life can cause her to lash out as her life is completely steered of its course by magic and her dad remarrying.

Caelus! Muse’s closest friend a pretty chill guy that works at an icecream parlour during the week and helps his family with their market food stand in the weekend, he really wants to be a culinary chef but doesn’t know if he can truly achieve his goals in his hometown.

That’s the gang this will from now on be an original concept and no longer a winx rewrite yes winx will be an inspiration for this work but i do not intend to go the fairy route nor make the world building as big as i had made it in my rewrite… what you will see is me taking my rewritten work as a basis for this story considering i have basically rewritten my version of domino, zenith and solaria from scratch sooooo SWEET BABY BOY CRYOS MY BABY will be making a return later on in this story he’s mine he’s my son my boy i can do with his character whatever i pleaseeee ok ty

your kurayami family lore makes me insane and fucked in the head axel like. ryoma being ostracized from the remnants of an already fading clan in order to pursue the life he wanted to live with the person he loved only to not get to see his child grow up. like he got what he yearned for at both the price of his prior family and then his life. and then there's victoria who's been raising sakyo by herself, incapable of providing him the knowledge of the other half of his ancestry (i highly doubt ryoma ever disclosed much info to her after he cut ties with them). did she ever feel guilt for that? did ryoma, as much as he disliked the dragon clan, also feel that guilt?

and that's not even mentioning in the anime both of sakyo's parents die. like damn it really recontextualizes a lot of his behavior in canon. he took up the mantle of ryuga's successor for the new age both out of a nebulous obligation to the clan he descended from (yet knows nothing about) out of a sense of duty, and desire to learn more about his forgotten people, but also as a personal act of remembrance for his parents. everything he did was for the sake of the family he never knew and for the family he once had. like ohhhh i get it his grief and loneliness has played and will play a key part in every action he does throughout his life—throughout his passion for the people he eventually loves. okay. okay.

Ryoma’s development really is just so tragic and aughhh my god. You definitely got it that even after settling down and allowing himself to be a more open person, his one fatal flaw is ultimately how little he gives about his past and his family. Trying to protect Sakyo from the legacy of the dragon clan was a paradoxical effort because it’s ultimately him hiding so much of that and trying his best to cover up any remnants that makes Sakyo so much more curious about it, and when he loses both of his parents, he clings onto whatever he can find about the dragon clan as his last attachment to his family. Ryuga being the most immediate dragon clan member he can learn about and idolizing him and becoming his successor is detrimental to him but he doesn’t know that because to him, it’s his way of keeping his connection to his family and continuing their legacy in the only way he knows how. Within the continuity, Ryoma dies when Sakyo’s barely 4 years old, so he doesn’t even fully understand what it is that his father was so afraid about and why he was trying so hard to hide it. I don’t know how to fully articulate it but Sakyo’s belt originally being Ryomas is something that really tugs at me. After settling down, despite being so ashamed of things that connected him to his past, Ryoma still kept certain items like his jewelry and belt from the dragon clan, if still extremely hidden and buried away. In a way, he still can’t really shake his connection to the clan fully, but he feels that it’s ultimately for the best to try to completely move on from them. Sakyo ends up taking the belt as a physical anchor to his past as well, and while Ryoma hid it away in shame, eventually, as he grows to develop more and be able to carry his family legacy with him in a healthier way, Sakyo is able to wear it still with pride. (Also, fun fact, recently I realized that the oroboros arm ring thing that I gave Ryoma is like. exactly the same as the one ryuto wears in his shot at the end of shogun steel. so sorry to ryuto bc I’ve been severely neglecting him bc I’m not as invested in his character but I’ve got a couple thoughts for that that I’ll probably put in the lore doc)

And as for Victoria, man. Like, she’s so central to Ryoma’s development and both of them have helped each other grow so much in different ways, and Ryoma is more comfortable with her than anyone else, and despite everything, he still doesn’t fully open up about the full extent of the dragon clan to her which leaves her in the dark about so much. It really does eat away at her bc she wants to help her husband but this is the one thing he refuses to let up on so there’s really not much she can do. It’s when he passes that her guilt on the subject worsens bc now, knowing that her son is growing up without knowing half of his heritage, she feels so bad not being able to do anything to help. She makes sure to connect him to his ethnic background as much as she can but even then she knows it’s not enough and she’s not around long enough to be able to help him really seek out that information in a beneficial way.

Anime Sakyo is so harrowing with this, and there is a little glimpse of that with manga Sakyo when his dragon blood awakens, but I think ultimately manga Sakyo being more endearingly clueless about the dragon clan is allowed to happen with Victoria’s guidance. She encourages him to go off on his own and learn more, but she keeps him grounded enough that he never gets to the intensity that he does in the anime. I think she also is very supportive of Takanosuke specifically traveling with him as he knows more about the dragon clan and their history than either her or Sakyo do, and she knows that he would be able to help Sakyo learn more than she would ever be able to, so their companionship is also something that plays into that

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU? Not really, unless you want to plot a pre-existing thing! Chemistry is key, and that requires in-character interaction. If an interaction naturally ends up flirty/romantic in nature, I will almost certainly be keen to ship without having to be asked (though I do like talking about ships anyway, and about the characters, where we want them to go, how we want them to develop etc. tl;dr I’m a talker dkdflks).

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP? Anytime, since I love shipping in all forms: flirtationships, flings, ex-lovers, star-crossed lovers; everything. If our characters have already established chemistry and a romantic dynamic in more than one thread, and I feel like the other muse would be a good match for Ariveth, I will mention the possibility to you. This isn’t something I care to rush however, given the slight exclusivity it entails, and I want to make sure there's compatibility plus a healthy relationship/mutual investment with the other mun. I wanna be clear: I do not expect more time/effort be devoted to our ship than others at all (in fact I’d encourage equal investment among all your ships) but I’m very wary of committing Ariveth to a character whose mun neglects the ship or gets bored/goes through ships quickly. I prefer to have minimal yet quality ships. I hope you can see it from my perspective and understand my trepidation. I generally don’t do detailed physical descriptions of my OCs in part because I’m not great at it (a reason why I like writing fan fiction!) but also because when I’m writing kink content I want people to picture whatever makes them horniest. 😂

Ok, so they are about the same height but, at least at the start of the series, Lawrence is very thin - moreso than you would expect for a royal. He gains weight over the course of their marriage and by the time we get to A Notable Meal and A Filling End to the Day, he has a subtle little paunch. Nate is more solidly built, with more muscle. He’s not an athlete or anything but he’s lean with a conventionally attractive body.

Lawrence is blonde with blue eyes and at the time of the series he has a few threads of silver in his hair that you can only see if you’re very close. Nate has black hair, brown eyes, and a more olive complexion.

Nate is very conventionally attractive. Like if he hadn’t been born a prince he could easily have been a model or a movie star who plays romantic heroes. In the latest story I reference the fact that Nate regularly makes “hottest men of the year” lists. Lawrence is more unique. Like he’s someone who some people find incredibly hot and others are like “no way.”

Finally, with the caveat that this isn’t quite what I’m picturing when I think of them, if you really want a specific visual reference, the closest I’ve got is the guys from the Red White and Royal Blue movie.

This was previously posted somewhere else but then I already felt like a total ass and just deleted it, knowing it was gonna be flooded by everything else. And I won’t lie, I’m still salty about it but then I realized it was best to just discuss it all on here instead.

Now, I’ve invested so much time into Cyberpunk, it isn’t even funny. Like this game came out three years ago and I’ve just gotten into it. What’s even crazier to me is that the game itself did not catch my eye when it was first released at the time, but that’s another story to share for another day.

And I have meaning to do some lore centered around my V/OC Minerva, why she acts the way she does in the world of Cyberpunk. And boy, it’s a roller coaster.

But for now, this is all about Minerva having trouble making friends with other female characters. And we might as well cue in some sad Barbie music because this is pretty damn sad, I can promise you that. And if something is left out, which I know is going to happen, I’ll talk more about it in another post.

For the most part, Minerva does a lot of dumb crazy stuff to make people like her and feel good around her. But she still takes her work seriously as a merc. She disguises her feelings and pain through laughter by telling dumb tacky jokes. Okay she makes a total clown of herself, which doesn’t bother her in the slightest. She even snorts like a pig whenever she laughs because it’s a habit of hers. It also helps to know that she’s often called a piglet because her father was an NCPD officer.

Yet there is more to Minerva than just snorting like a little pig. This girl knows a thing or two about betrayal, regret, anguish, guilt.

After she lost her father, thirteen year old Minerva formed this female mercenary-only guild known as the Blood Claws. These girls painted their stiletto nails a nude pink color with ombré red tips resembling blood, hence the name Blood Claws. Basically, I wanted Minerva’s girl gang to channel this energy that says they’re not weaklings, that they can still look cute and kick ass at the same time. The majority of these girls were raised on the streets of Night City, so it makes sense that they adopted this attitude. And as much as it pained Minerva, being that she’s attracted to the opposite sex, she deliberately excluded male mercenaries from ever joining the Bloodclaws. Alright so it goes like this. These are young girls that can still talk about their love interests, as long as they don’t ever bring it to Minerva’s front door.

So Minerva had a rather large female merc following as though she was a celebrity (although this is the last thing she’d want to be compared to) that would do anything for her. These girls were loyal to her. It made her feel seen and heard. Most of all, she felt loved and safe. She never felt alone. She felt comfortable around the female mercs. She can share secrets and desires to these girls and they won’t judge her for it. They were like the sisters she never had. These girls admired Minerva for her ability to overcome such a tragic circumstance in her young life, while still maintaining a beautiful positive outlook.

There was even a female merc named Medusa who looked just like Minerva. You might even say that these girls were best friends, and sisters in looks only, which they often joked about. For crying out loud, even their names have three syllables, begin with an M, and end with an A. So these girls has a lot in common than anyone thought.

However, it wasn’t long until Medusa started stealing the spotlight from Minerva, and you can clearly see how angry and jealous she was. Minerva just can’t hide her feelings. What was it about Medusa that made others like her? Was it because she was prettier and had shiny hair? Did she have a higher body count than Minerva? Did the other girls already grew bored of her?Oh there were so many questions floating around in Minerva’s mind. At this point, Minerva felt threatened and something had to be done about it. Medusa even went as far as to bring dudes over to Minerva’s house without her even knowing. And the minute Minerva found out about this, she just blew her top. Medusa stabbed her in the back and Minerva is gonna make her regret ever doing that.

In the original mythology, Minerva punished Medusa by cursing her with snakes in place of her hair and the Gorgon is slain by Perseus. However in this story, Minerva outright murdered Medusa for deliberately bringing dudes into her house, for violating her trust, for not respecting her wishes. But then Minerva faces an emotional dilemma. She comes to regret killing Medusa, her only friend. She let her rage overwhelm her mentality and it just hurts, knowing she can’t bring Medusa back. She lives with that guilt even to this day. For this reason, Minerva doesn’t have that many female friends for fear that there would be future catty conflicts and may result in disastrous outcomes.

For context in case you or anyone reading this don’t know, Aeryn is an oc i’ve had since looong before bg3, he’s basically a self insert (except he’s isn’t, at all, because we have very little in common) who is my go-to guy to play as in video games. his personality, appearance and all that was all already in my head so. idk some things might not sense because i bend little things here n there to make him more like he is in my head.

ANOTHER thing is that i initially created this guy for the soul purpose of like. tortureporn. just a little meow meow for me to force all of sad horny little edgelord impulses onto with the hope that if i put it all into one character, i wouldn’t do it as much with my others. and then he kinda just evolved from there as i got more invested in him. but he’s still that tortureporn deep down so that’s why there’s So Much going on with him. just thought i’d warn ya.

1) What circumstances led to your durge picking their class/subclass?

Aeryn’s a level 8 “the great old one” warlock/level 4 “gloom stalker” ranger. for warlock, well. the thing you need to know about Aeryn is that he is. very pathetic. i always play him as a glass cannon. he likely wasn’t living up to Murder Daddy’s ambitious expectations for him as being the ultimate killing machine, so he made a deal for an arcane edge. as for gloom stalker urban ranger well. it’s the dark urge.

3) what would your durge consider to be their greatest skill? is this accurate?

seduction, and no. he is off-putting and desperate and only certain people find that charming. i’d say it’s his love. his empathy.

4) what would your durge consider to be their greatest flaw? is this accurate?

just… all of it. the Urge, the rampant sex addiction, (by extension, the need for people to find him physically attractive, that’s so strong it stops him from physically or socially transitioning, which leads him in this weird purgatory, flitting from girlmoding to boymoding depending on he wants to gain sex or respect from a social situation. suffice it to say, no one ever knows what to make of him.) desperate pathetic clingyness and people pleasing borne from a life of profound isolation and rejection, the fact that he’s so so so scared all the time. and, yeah. i’d say that’s pretty spot on.

11) what motivates you durge to either embrace or resist the urge?

fear. love. both ways. he never embraces the urge, never. not deep down, at least. he spends the whole span of the game trying to resist. he’s just… not very good at it. his vibe has always been that “as if it’s my fault my love language is acts of service and all i know how to do is kill” post.

13) how does your durge feel about killing?

horny. jokes* aside, Aeryn is um. more than a little suicidal if i’m being honest. (bear with me) and memory-fucked as he is, that feeling alongside the urge is all he really knows. the belief that life is nothing but one painful disappointment after another is his soul consistent trait. he honestly doesn’t know that life can be more than that. he also doesn’t know that others don’t feel the same. so that’s essentially how he keeps his guilt and shame on a leash. cant be guilty about killing if you see it as an act of mercy.

16) what is your durge’s greatest desire?

now this is one i’ve thought about. basically his perfect life would be as the right hand man (executioner or perhaps assassin) and lover (pet) of a great leader who supplies him with many shitheads and sorry bastards to take out his murderous urges on. and have whoever that leader is give him a pat on the head and tell him he’s doing a good job :) and they fuck scary style. this would be easier to answer if i knew what his canon ending was, but i don’t. i just finished my first ever playthrough earlier today, where he rejects Bhaal and the emperor and becomes a mind flayer and i can safely say that’s not it. (i romanced lae’zel, realised aeryn would be better suited with minthara around the end of act two, and came to the conclusion that this is not his canon run, so i’m just gonna do what feels right and whatever happens, happens) i’ve watched a few videos of the accept bhaal’s gift -> kill the netherbrain -> kill yourself or go crazy and piss yourself ending (which is so unsettling and i really shouldn’t have watched it at 5am) and its REALLY good but. yeah i don’t know.

Bro BRO I have SO MANY CHARACTERS you have NO IDEA. But these two are so fun because they’re some of my few modern ocs and I’m THRILLED I’ve gotten you invested already lol so have some info on the boyos

So! Ben. Ben is the definition of chaotic theater kid. He LIVES for the spotlight and thrives as the center of attention. He really wants to eventually be a professional actor, but I’m not sure if that’s more of an in general thing or if he wants to go to Broadway. Cause for the life of me I cannot determine wether he does a lot of musical theater or not, and he won’t tell me if he can sing either. 

He’s got one brother named William and I wanna say he’s older, but again not sure. They’re biological brothers but were adopted by a giant, so safe to say they’re both super comfortable around larger folks. Ben is ALSO a social media king. Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, you name it he’s on it. Mostly he uses the platforms for showing off mini movies he films with his friends, as well as embarrassing pics of him in James. Because this man takes his phone in with him all the time and films from inside his bf. 

Zero, and I mean zero fear of being eaten. Like, he can and will take any chance he gets to wiggle himself down James’s throat. Doesn’t matter if they’re in public or not cause he’s not embarrassed about being eaten in the slightest. Heck, he even gets proud of how visible he is in James’s stomach. Also, any and all sleepovers between the two will end with Ben serving as dessert. It’s just the way things go and he wouldn’t have it any other way. 

 Now JAMES! James is such a sweetheart. He’s pretty calm and soft spoken for the most part, and always wears his big bulky sweater cause it’s comfy and hides any evidence of Ben pretty well. Or, at least makes it a bit less obvious. However, because of that sweater you’d never know my boy was absolutely jacked. I mean he’s super strong with loads of muscle cause guess what, he’s on the football team. What can I say, he’s a bit of a sports nerd and is honestly really good at what he does. Doesn’t stop him from being a softy tho. He’s pretty much a nerd built like a jock if I’m being honest lmao. Really really likes biology, especially anatomy, and I think he might want to study sports medicine of some kind?? He also enjoys gardening and botany. 

He’s got at least three siblings, maybe more idk, and so far they’re all younger than him. Makes his place pretty chaotic and while Ben loves it, James really wishes he could get a bit more peace and quiet sometimes. 

He genuinely he loves eating people, but gets embarrassed about it easy. When it’s just him and Ben of course he’s all for it, and he even likes using his eating abilities on close friends, but the second they’re out somewhere he considers a bit public he gets all embarrassed and blushy. It’s not even all that weird to see a giant eat someone while out and about, so he’s just a bit self conscious really. Still, it’s easy to convince him to eat you in the right setting, and he doesn’t mind keeping someone inside all day if they want it. Just gotta make sure he’s got something baggy on and presto, can hardly tell there’s a person in there.

that’s only like the 87th time jimin has heard the word next and it makes him wonder how much more would it take him to bring him to the front

(it’s actually only been 14 times and jimin might just be a self-admitted impatient bitch!!!)

he understands that yes, it’s ten in the evening!!! and reasonably-large stores/pharmacies like these can have less staff at the time compared to ten in the morning

sure, checkout machines and cashier lanes could be broken down!! or they could just not be open at all

jimin gets that alright, maybe the self-checkout machines are close at this time of the night because it is ten in the evening

what’s not clicking in his mind, however is that at the exact time that he comes here

as in the EXACT time that he’s here (!!!) — there happens to be dozens of people in a store at ten in the evening, and there happens to be a grand total of one (1) cashier lane

atleast random store music would be entertaining :((( all he hears are the beeps of a scanner and the chatter of groups of people who came here

and you just wanna suspend yourselves in this moment forever

For the fanfiction writers appreciation, can we get something more about Amber and her relation with Kai? I love your OC, btw.

Oh! Okay! First of all, thank you! Amber is my pride and joy and sometimes my absolute embarrassment of a feral child. But I love her and it makes me so happy that others like her as well.  So her and Kai… Well first of all, on paper, they should not work. I keep looking at those OTP memes of personality A with personality B, and none of them ever seem to reflect Amber and Kai. But I feel part of that is because they’re very much different sides of the same coin. Where it counts, they have similar views and reactions to things, both quite protective of their friends, both have family issues, both tend to try to deal with everything themselves & they both like being sarcastic and sly with it. But Amber’s more extroverted than Kai, she likes being around people, and she’s very frank with her feelings, while Kai is tends to linger back, keep things locked inside. And those opposite traits create enough push and pull to actually help them grow as people. 

Amber’s also loyal and in a world where Kai is constantly looking at people as rivals, having someone who is on your side a lot of the time, is new to him. Of course his team is, but they’re also competition for him. Amber’s not. That doesn’t mean she’ll let his shitty actions slide, but she’ll try to understand them first before poking holes in them. Kai also appreciates her candour, she just says whatever pops into her head, there’s no filter and no hidden meaning. 

They’re a surprisingly good team and they always seem to drift to each other. Even in Saving where I flat out said, there’ll be no real romance (except TyHil because they’ve had two seasons already, they need to progress) so there’ll be no need for Amber and Kai to be in scenes together, Kai immediately was like: “what is she doing? Where is she going? I don’t trust her. Typical, now she’s in danger. I’m going to save her.” As the writer, I’m like, well technically all these people could— NO, has to be Kai. Which, yes, in character but Kai tends to do it for people he’s sort of adopted as his. I wasn’t expecting him to adopt Amber but he has. It’s very reluctant but it’s honest. 

It’s not just an attraction thing, though Kai is very attractive, obviously, so much so Amber will tell him to just cover his face because she can’t deal with him. Which is a nice ego boost for him, not that he’d EVER admit to it. But they genuinely like each other. Amber just admires Kai’s wit and intelligence and his stupid developing sense of humour and he’s reluctantly invested now—like with quick sand, you fall in, sink immediately and then you resign yourself to it, and just stay there, stuck.

Also I know this is long, but it’s from SLTS and it’s the epitome of why I enjoy them together, a lot of banter but also a lot of care and affection:

The glow around Amber ebbed and she squared her shoulders. “Well, I’m glad I got to see you before you went to camp. You’ll do good and if you see any NHL players—” 

“I’m not asking them to sign my shirt so you can sell it on eBay.” 

Betrayed she punched at his arm and with a half laugh he stepped back and caught her hand, enfolding it within his. 

“What is the point of this…”—she gestured between them—“friendship if you’re not willing to make sacrifices for it? I mean, I made sacrifices…” His face tightened and she winced. “Too soon?”

“Far too soon.” 

“Noted. I’ll wait two weeks and try that again.” 

“Ember.” He scrutinised her face, trying to read through the facade. 

She rolled her eyes and stepped into him, resting her free hand on his chest, a brand. “I’ll be okay. Go to camp and I will see you in two weeks. It really won’t be that long. I might even have that draft done for the history project by then.” 

“It’s two weeks. You’re being very optimistic.” 

“Ha, that sense of humour you’re developing still needs a lot of work.” 

His lips quirked up at the dry tone, and the mirth warming her eyes to a burnt umber. He dropped her hand to slide his around her waist and he held her, resting his cheek against the crown of her hair. “I need to go. Don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone.” 

She wrapped her arms around him, pressing her nose into his chest— and he was pretty sure she was sniffing him. “Don’t you do anything stupid while you’re gone.” She lifted her head to look at him. “Honestly you’d think you all would have more faith in me but I got myself suspended for two weeks so your lack of faith is completely warranted.” 

So yeah, this is very long but that’s a bit about Amber and Kai! They are my favourite babies! Thank you so much!

I have watched all of Bleach

That is currently available. Personally one of the funniest things throughout my entire time watching was looking at Carmine, my oc, and realizing I had basically made a soul reaper. Not surprising considering this show is full of cool anime stuff

I don’t know anyone’s opinion on Bleach when it comes to the arcs but personally everything after the Espada arc felt like a 10 to me. Probably because one arc is just 13 court squad team mirror matches with a villain that has broken powers. Also Kon had importance and I never expected that. It was actually really touching. While the Fullbring was also really fun to watch.

I laughed every time a new subset of abilities were introduced for a group, and they are functionally the same as the other groups because for some reason Flash Stepping has to be Soul Reaper exclusive so Hollows, Quincies, Fullbringers, etc. have to call their high speed movement anything besides that. It felt like Ichigo changed job classes but continued to invest in the same stats so the only thing he got was cooler outfits and maybe three new moves. I honestly enjoy that a lot.

Rukia had my heart from being to end. No one told me Toshiro’s VA in English is Neji Hyuga, so there was a never a moment he wasn’t the coolest guy to me. Even when he was losing I was like “god he’s so cool.” My two favorite characters use ice; very on brand. I always knew Ichigo was based and had many transformations so Liking him a given.

Surprisingly, not a fan of Renji. He jobs so hard I kinda feel bad. I was stunned seeing him be and look so cool in the Fullbring arc, but that’s like two episodes! I’m upset my friend told me Orihime was Hinata but she matters, because that’s absolutely correct. Don’t get me wrong, I like Hinata, but Orihime is so much better that I got upset as a Naruto fan. I already know the ending ship to Bleach and while I still can’t believe it considering the amount of moments I’ve witnessed Rukia and Ichigo be each other’s emotional support and hype man, I already know I’m not bothered by canon.

All in all, watching Bleach has been like eating chocolate. Even the bad parts weren’t so bad for me. The only thing I noticed watching Bleach that was consistent was no matter what problem came up, you better believe the people that would trivialize it were not there until the end. I should’ve counted how my times I said “Where’s Yoruichi?” Then she shows up later to clown an enemy we’ve been fighting for four episodes before leaving! They use her like a get out of jail free card for the plot and it’s both funny but also a little silly. Kinda feels like those people who put their strongest Pokémon in the last slot so everyone else gets to grow and things look dicey for them; then they send in the max lvl legendary.

Bonus:Aizen is hilarious. Grimmjow and a few others have some pretty dumb lines, but nothing will ever match any character talking about how they planned something, while various actions around him beg to differ; all the way until he’s like “What is this!?” When Ichigo is done with his nonsense. The X-cution plan felt more like a calculated chess maneuver then Aizen losing all his men and getting stabbed. I feel bad like his catchphrase should’ve been “I course corrected.” 😅

Also yeah I watched the fillers. The bount arc is painful, but everything else was fine. I can’t decide if it’s better or worse than Naruto filler.
