Then the Dark Witch will be taking life selfishly. The Trix would have to sacrifice a pixie and some other creatures to achive the form in some sort of ritual.

Do not let me rewrite this season because there will be no joy.

Bloom would die in the fire pit. Getting burned, feeling like the weak child she was back in season 1.

Musa would be in the tunnels, and the weird sprites will blast enough music waves that Musa's eardrums burst of smth.

Tecna will die the same way, she and Musa looking into eachother's eyes as they die.

Stella, pertrifyed and crushed to dust.

Aisha, getting crushed by the petrifying dragon thing.

Flora, getting hurt by a treeant trying to save Mielle (might make Mielle just die but anywho).

Your Winx Club GX art is sooo good! It has reignited my interest in the series, which never really went away, but now it's back full force and I have an idea for my own winx oc. Which may or may not be set in your Winx GX story. (I haven't read your fanfic yet 😔 I feel bad but that's mostly because I want to watch the series again and refresh my mind. Plus I think I only watched the first 3 seasons cuz it was all Netflix had).

But that sort of brings me back to what I really wanted to ask, I know that there's three dubs and I was wondering what the best one to watch was (I might watch all three anyway cuz censorship is kinda dumb). You were sort of the first person who came to mind on who to ask (plus I didn't think you'd mind my slight oc brainworms), so here I am!

I’m really sorry to disappoint you but I’m no expert in Winx dubs because I grew up with the Italian version ever since I was a child, I do know English ones are several but only saw clips of them. 4Kids adds a lot of things, like planets or characters in the dialogue (for example Diaspro is originally from Eraklyon but in the 4Kids dub they say she’s from Isis, I’m not sure why), Cinélume (I hope I’m spelling that correctly 😭) and Nickelodeon, and I unfortunately don’t remember the others. I did like some 4Kids voices and Nick’s! Cinelume pretty much sticks to the original though if I remember correctly, so you could start with that ;;

in honor of my reignited obsession with TTA

here's an MS Paint doodle from last year trying to figure out how "kirbopher15" would look like if sprite limitations for TTA weren't a thing; i was aiming to mix the cuteness of kirbopher15 with more of the physical elements of modern kirbopher, so i made him a fairy!

Yep! I'm currently working on trying to make the rest of the OG Winx Club's kids and how they'd fit into the story.

I've also been thinking on hypothetical 'episodes'/'chapters' for different events, like Mari's introduction with her and Yuma reigniting their past friendship, and a potential flashback episode showing Yuma and Mari's friendship back when they were little.

What I want in the Winx reboot

A very unpopular opinion: retconning, minimal, but I think some of it is necessary, take the fat out off the story, add something new, fix some plot holes and story arcs

Fix Riven and Musas relationship or make them break up point blank, Riven learns to be a decent human being and they are just friends by the end of the new season and no coming back, it would be great representation for single asian girls, which in my opinion, is very much necessary because of toxic beliefs in asian culture around marriage and relationships.

No more Flora The Punchbag, i want her to kick ass and look fierce doing it instead of fainting and getting beat up like the first seasons always did

No more Mary Sue Bloom or having forced protagonism, let her be flawed, make mistakes, the girls don't need to kiss her ass all the time, etc. She works best as the Normal One™ trope and helping guide the viewer thought this weird new environment instead of always being the focus of everything.

Musa using instruments as weapons more often and having music as a more literal motif of her magic, same for all the other girls.

More of a personal opinion, but I feel that Tecna would be better as a fairy of energy/thunder, i always headcanon that I makes more sense instead of just straight up being a fairy of technology, and her having control of technology is more of addendum to her magic than being that she somehow can like summons a gaming PC out of nowhere lol, the same way Aisha/Layla is a fairy of waves but her magic is more focused on Morphix.

More focus on secondary abilities and creative magical abilities.

A deeper look at Stella's character arc, she needs to be more than the comedy relief

More character depth for the Trix, i actually want to now what motivates them personally to work together as the descendants of the Ancestral Witches, since the show inadvertedly suggested the girls aren't really raised to be evil, and if we are gonna also reboot the Valtor arc, don't make them fight over him out of love, it makes more sense their because they don't wanna share the power.

Mirta shouldn't become a fairy, it makes her beliefs that witches and fairies can get along inherently invalid, because she wasn't a witch to begin with. Make her a witch that gets her magic from the same positive energy fairies do even tho she has a seemingly nefarious power of creating illusions and manipulating people's perception, but still having more neutral or anti-hero intentions than the fairies stereotypically have, maybe even add a fairy that wants to be more like a witch, lots of one-off faires were malicious enough to have magic come from negative sources.

More in depth view of magic as a whole, what is the actual difference between a fairy, a witch and a sorcerer? Which one uses more or less, which one has more setbacks and side effects for using magic?

More development around The Specialists, I feel like It would be best if they were the middle ground of magic and technology and it was more obvious, make their suit and armor enhance their physical abilities, strength and stamina thought science(because some of the things they could do against big ass monster makes no sense otherwise) and their weapons out of some sort of magical concentration or human essence of magic.

More weird abilities for the girls to actually differentiate them from Bloom as a earth human, make Ayesha be able to hold her breath for very long and swim faster than anyone else, photographic memory and very fast learning for Tecna, fast healing or higher endurance/adaptability for Flora(not being affected by toxic atmospheres, poison and anything of natural sources), super hearing and being able to understand any language for Musa, both Stella and Bloom already had lots of extra abilities so I feel this would balance things out.

Either retcon Enchantix as not actually being "the most powerful form of a fairy" or just change their design without having to give it a new name all the time, maybe something like "Enchantix: Magic of X" so stuff like becoming Mermaids, resistant to cold and being able to fly at high speeds make more sense instead of having to be a whole as new transformation instead of just a addition to it.

Thoughts on the comparisons between Team 13 and The Elite?

It's interesting, and I would love to talk about UnityVerse's history all day, although I'm in a time crunch right now. With UnityVerse, there's going to be so many different stories to the point where you start to find connections - and that's always a good thing. Connecting and putting the puzzle pieces together to see how people, ideas, and stories are related is one of the most beautiful aspects of this place and serves as my motivation to be a leader. This question is no different - it's great to see people want to learn more and become more interested in what we've all created. Team 13's story is absolutely incredible and it's amazing to see how much they've grown. If it weren't for them we wouldn't have had New Era Competitions, we wouldn't have had so many different people come together in unity. Their story is wonderful and I'm very glad they're UnityVerse citizens.

I'm not going to shy away from the question, however. With all due respect to Team 13 and The Elite, both groups had one goal in mind - to alter UnityVerse's perspective of life. We both just wanted to make this place better and we want to represent our own groups and originations. The important thing to remember is how different those originations are. When you look at The Elite, y'know, someone like Cody who was in UnityVerse looking for a purpose, then once myself, Matt, and Nick showed up things certainly changed for him. Then along the way Marty and Hangman joined us, and we noticed that things in UnityVerse were much different than they were in VinnyLand. UnityVerse was completely dominated by WWE wrestlers. We were the outcasts, the oddballs, but as long as we had each other, everything was going to be okay. We changed the regulated cycle of UnityVerse - instead of going on social media every day, we would reignite old passions like Winx Club or do something as fun as walking to the park. It was through positive memories and experiences that we were able to change this place for the better.

I don't want to speak for the actors, but for them it seems like it was the negative things that happened to them that made the change. The attacks, the court cases, the hospital visits - much of their UnityVerse memories were negative and not enjoyable times. Especially when they drifted apart, they got each other suspended. They lost their sense of connection and that's completely normal. However, the hatred that some may have for each other splits their group apart.

do you think being abandoned at the omega dimension would reignite Tecna’s doubts about Timmy from s2, that he’s spineless and gives up easily. I feel like it would make her emotional remembering how vulnerable she was with him (and him with her) back then and now she feels like that was all for nothing. They’re back to square one. And now Tecna might not give him another chance…instead make him pay -lambofzenith

OH Absolutely!!! I wasn't able to get into her and Timmy cause I didn't really know how to fit it in, but she would absolutely be thinking about their relationship. And honestly, I think her feelings for Timmy and what they went through would spark her going evil. She would feel like fighting for him was a waste of her time and that ultimately she was right about him the first time, that he's a coward who can't save her. And this would of course lead to her feeling the same way about the winx; that her first assessment was right and she can't rely on them. I think Tecna going evil in the omega dimension would have to be backed by her feeling like she can't rely on them at all and that she has to completely fend for herself (which she would if they never rescue her).

While Tecna got a lot better with her emotions by S3, she still isn't great at regulating them and all these negative emotions would just pile up. It would be another example of her going to the extreme. She would be so convinced that they can't save her and that they never cared for her the way they did each other. And thinking like that for maybe even years depending on how long it takes her to get out, would be like,, basically ammunition for wanting to get revenge. I think "making them pay" would start with wanting to see the looks on their faces when they realize she's still alive. It would be a confrontation about how she survived and didn't need them. Which would of course spark them to try and explain the situation, which would then cause Tecna to get angry because she can't be wrong again. There's just.. a lot that goes into evil!Tecna that I think the omega dimension arc could set up really nicely...

How would you differentiate between a hyperfixation and a special interest? My understanding is that a hyperfixation is an interest that can endure for quite a while- weeks and months, even. But a special interest is that multipled by 10, and endures for years even while hyperfixating on other things. Please let me know if I’m wrong! I just got diagnosed with comorbid autism and adhd and processing all of this new info has been a lot and kinda confusing.

idk how "official" this is, but as a fellow autistic person with adhd, the feeling of a hyperfixation and special interest are, in the moment at least, very similar. it's intense focus and love on a particular thing. the difference for me is the frequency.

hyperfixations of mine tend to have "active periods", a span of time where i'm actively focused and interested in that. that phases out after a certain period of time, and goes "dormant". something can cause them to come back to active though, so it's not like they're gone forever, just not the current focus. a good example of this for me is winx club, which i was super hyperfixated on as a kid, and then got reignited after the netflix adaptation. or more recently is the world ends with you, reignited again by the sequel coming out.

special interests, alternatively, never go away for me. they may not match the intensity of a new/current hyperfixation, but they're always there. kingdom hearts is an example of a special interest for me. i may not always be actively focused on it, but bringing it up will NEVER not get me to be interested in the conversation. i can and do talk about it for hours on end at any given time. it's sort of a core, easy thing to fall back on for me. the special interest is part of my identity, my being, not just a fleeting thing.

again, this is just my own experience and definitions, and this may not be true for others!

You know something that bug me about the Eraklyon Fiasco in season 3 and want to discuss it with you if you want.

Now, let remember how Dark Bloom was destroyed, it was when Sky admits his love for her and Bloom coming into her sense enough to heal herself from Darkar's Curse meaning that Sky's love was enough to save Bloom .

Back to Dark Sky's Defeat (fun fact: Dark Sky was the title for 4kid version of S3E8).

When Winx (minus Tecna and Layla) went to Eraklyon to talk to Sky, a fight break loose and it resulting to Bloom saying she doesn't want to fight him but to talk to him. He then goes attack her (without hesitation or missing a beat! Remember that Part!).

But Stella (best girl) stop it, later to reveal Baltor's Mark on him and Stella using Fairy Dust to fix Sky

And Now, I'm in a predicament with Sky and Baltor's Love Potion that leaves me guessing if Bloom's Love for Sky isn't enough (not even a little hesitation from him) to stop the potion or Baltor found or made a potion that it powerful then Darkar's Spells and never use it again in the show.

Okay, so while most people would side with the idea that Sky saved Bloom, I’m a bit iffy on it. I don’t think he saved her, I think he inspired her to fight to save herself, which is consistent with Bloom’s overall theme in the show —she’s always reminded that she has the power to save herself. She’s in control of her destiny.

In my personal unprofessional opinion, I think the difference isn’t as exciting as most would want it to be. It’s magic. Bloom has healing magic she can use on herself. Sky does not.

I’m sure while being turned, Bloom fought to regain control. She’s a fighter. Even while trapped inside her own mind, she’s going to fight. Let’s be real, though. Darkar was insanely strong. Because of that, I feel Bloom reached a point where hopelessness inevitably took over, and she just had to believe her friends would save her and surrendered herself to the darkness. But then, Sky reaches out to her. He proceeds to give a love speech that under the surface is actually a pep talk. While he’s admitting his love, he’s using that as a way of asking her to fight. He’s using it to give her something to fight for. And that’s enough to reignite that fire in her that allows her to break the spell and regain control. So while his love may have inspired his speech, his love did not save her. Bloom always had the power to break free, she just needed to be reminded that she did.

(And while I know in the RAI dub she’s able to heal herself and everyone, I think that’s bullshit. When she saved Sky she collapsed on the floor from how much power she used. While she does have Charmix which boosts her powers a bit, I don’t believe she could’ve done all of that on her own. There’s no way she could’ve done that without collapsing again. I think she enlisted a little help. But that’s another theory for another conversation.)

Now in regards to Sky with Baltor’s love potion, that’s a different ball game. But let’s also give Sky a little credit, because he actually does hesitate in the Dark Sky episode! Depending on which version you watch, they signal it differently. In the 4Kids dub, he makes a small noise of realization. In the RAI dub, there’s a moment of silence. However, after both of these, he squeezes his eyes shut and kinda shakes his head when he starts talking, like he’s trying to fight something off. I think Bloom did get through to him, but there are two huge differences between his situation and Bloom’s. First off, she doesn’t know he’s under a spell. When Sky did it, he knew she was under Darkar’s spell. I’m sure if she knew then that he was spelled by Baltor, she would’ve tried doing what he did for her —give the pep talk he needs to realize he has the power to fight it— and done it with more ferocity like he did. I think she thought he might be under a spell for a second, during the silence. You see a bit of hope in her eyes, like she mentioned their love to see if it would work her him like it did for her. But even then, it would not have worked. Which brings us to Difference #2: While he could break into a moment of lucidity, he doesn’t have healing magic to break free from Baltor’s mark. When Sky reached out to Bloom, you can see she has a couple moments of lucidity, and she’s able to fight the darkness enough during those times and use her healing magic to save herself. Sky does not have healing magic. He doesn’t have magic at all. He’s pretty much stuck in a state of waiting until someone with healing magic can save him (cue Stella and her Fairy Dust).
