Admittedly I don't have a ton of crushes that aren't F/Os, tho technically I guess the crushes section on my carrd does count that way lol. The ones there are Q.row, Annie, Clark, Mercy, Himeko, and Tokiko, and tbh I mainly just have them there bcs they're characters I don't quite have enough thoughts about to really consider them on the level of the ones that I consider my boyfriend/girlfriend even tho I like them a lot and find them attractive

Mercy and Himeko are probably the ones closest to being actual F/Os tho, but even then that feels a little less like. Self ship-y and more "I would ship them with and OC who's pretty distinct from me"

That would be with Miguel! tbh I don't really know what to say here, but I love him a lot and definitely could see him becoming one of my main F/Os if I keep thinking about him as much as I do lol

Piera was one of the first people he recruited to the Spi.der Soc.iety tho, in part bcs she was pretty experienced as a hero, and in a lot of ways she's also pretty distinct from the other spiders

Miguel is just generally kinda a petty bitch, and Piera has always been taught to keep it to herself, but they do sometimes just have times where they'll spend like an hour just talking shit about someone who pissed them off

They teach each other some slang from their different universes. Piera's gotten many weird looks when she's said "what the shock" around other people

They have some date nights in costume. Nothing more romantic than fighting crime together <3

💢 What’s an unpopular opinion you have regarding your F/O?

That James is a wonderfully written character with a lot of moral complexity who is not some cartoon villain who has never done a good thing in his life. People are so quick to apply labels to him that are simply not true, and it's just them trying to make him seem worse than he actually was

James is a man who wants to do good, but he's so stuck in his idea of what the right thing is that he doesn't see the big picture, and that comes back to bite him. Especially when it's combined with his mental health getting worse and him really having no support network. He's capable of incredible kindness, and he's actually at his best when he's helping others tho. He genuinely adores the people who do get close to him, like Penny and Winter, but he's just terrible at expressing that bcs he's not good with his feelings

I've seen things after SOTUS extreme actor harassment, I've been here through BMF "hate watching flashmob" and you know what, this year I will actually stop tolerating BL fans (at least on tumblr) who don't even have the decency to just ignore things they don't like and who think bullying someone is a good fandom sport, and start calling out. No matter if you believe clickbaits or you're a proud member of celebrity witchhunt or just don't believe people and situations can change, whatever, I really don't want to see KristSingto hate if - when - they will come back with another BL series.

Peraya fans have been waiting and hoping for KristSingto reunion for years, they wanted it themselves for so long as well, and we've unfortunately encountered way too many people who don't use their braincells and who encourage others to follow their footsteps when making derogatory comments about (mainly) Krist or Singto who they don't even know about, or their shows. For years. Some even go to talk shit and laugh right at his face. What the hell.

Maybe don't ruin someone else's parade and don't turn a nice community lake into a swamp. If you consider yourself a good person who can have an opinion "I just don't vibe with this person/show", watch it unbiased, be open minded and if you don't have a full picture, ask fans of the actual story or do research and read proper compilations about him instead of blindly stacking your opinions on repeated echoed insults from yt and tiktok. And if you aren't willing to be open minded and rational, well, let the fans celebrate and stick quietly to your swamp.

I'm really trying to enjoy Agatha All Along, but...it's just making me miss Doom Patrol. More specifically, it's making me miss whatever the fuck Rita and Laura had going on, and the anticipation of finding out which new and exciting way room patrol was going to rip my heart out and smash it to bits this week.

my god. he really looks dead here. the light literally disappears from his eyes every time he goes away from his little escape in the first. like more than ever i can feel that immense sense of burnout weighing on him. the way that his expression, looking back on the source, mirrors his expression during an honest-to-god near death experience really puts things into perspective. he really fits the description of "dead inside"

i was originally going to write about how he was like the exarch; in the sense that he was a dead man walking. but now that i think about it, they really mirror each other in a lot of ways. the exarch is a figure trapped in death, who violently, undescribably, wants to experience life. vivi is a figure who absolutely cannot die lest the world goes with him, who romanticises the idea of death so much that his big crush is the guy who showed up before he almost died. they both tow the line between life and death, yet theyre on opposite sides; so close, yet so far. they both yearn, by nature, yet for completely different things.

........man vivi kinda sounds like emet here. wonder why
