Headcannon that the 1st generation of the teen titans (Dick, Roy, Donna, Wally, and Garth) have such a complicated love life with one another that it would totally be a 20 season romcom. They've all dated each other at some point, multiple thruples have popped up, at least 3 Teen Titans orgies have occured, ect. By the time Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg joined the team, the more complex sides of the romance have mostly fallen away, but sometimes it came back up.

Raven: Mr. Twister hates you because your were dating Donna?

Dick: No, that was later. Wally was dating her at the time, and that's why he went after us. I had an on and off thing with Roy at the time.

Raven: Roy? But I thought he with Garth?

Dick: Oh yeah he was cheating on Garth at the time. Course, when Garth found out, he and I hooked up to get back at Roy.

Raven: If Mr. Twister didn't go after you because of Donna, then why did Mr. Twister hates you?

Dick: Oh I totally was sleeping with Wally at the time. Mr. Twister isn't a homophobe, mind you- he just hates cheaters and gingers, and Wally was both.

What if Ratio isn’t just some guy but a spy for another faction, like maybe he is part of the masked fools or another faction? How betrayed would Topaz and Aventurine feel that they’re friend isn’t who he said he was? That Ratio was just playing a role to gather information.

Or even worse if Dr. Ratio was Oswaldo right hand man, sent to disrupt and spy on the ten stonehearts and in doing so seduces two to make Diamond jealous and distracted. Like Oswaldo main competitor is Diamond and maybe he sent Ratio to keep track of the stonehearts movement?

I think I would die horrifically in a fire but that would also be incredibly compelling so I don’t hate it either.

Oh Ratio being a spy, oh Ratio being a betrayer, that would hurt so bad because he’s presented as someone who cares sososo much and to have that just be a lie? Ugh I hate it just as much as I love it

Imagine the look on Aventurine’s face as the person closest to him turned out to be a spy all along

The person who gave him a reason to live having never cared in the first place

Now that’s all well and good and I’m not lying when I say I would never recover from that, but imagine this

It’s a double cross

You still get the betrayal, the devastation, but Ratio has always been good at playing the fool. He did it at the space station, he did it in Penacony, and he’s doing it now.

He almost gives up, seeing how broken the other two look, but Ratio is playing the long run and everyone is none the wiser.

So they win, and Oswaldo is gone for good, Ratio gets injured, and is backed into a corner by both Aventurine, Topaz, and the astral express, and they are about to demand answers and/or even kill him.

Aventurine is the angriest, he grabs him by the shoulder and demands Ratio give him answers, give him anything.

He just smiles

And asks them who they think allowed them to be victorious in the first place?

Everything clicks, Ratio passes out and it all falls apart.

It will piece itself back together again, BUT GODDDDD GODDDD HOYO IF YOU DO THIS I WILL FORGIVE YOU FOR ALL YOUR SINS

I've got a story brewing in my head about JayRoy in a long distance relationship because Roy lives in Star with Lian to be near his family and Jason is crime lording it up in Gotham/not leaving his hometown because.... Bats. But Roy and Jay eventually realize that what they thought was working -- having Jason split time between Gotham and Star and being an active participant in Lian's life (as is Jade) has actually not been okay with Lian. And then they have to figure out how to move forward from there.

This is a quick little illustration I did of the beginning scene where Lian goes to Roy and tells him what's been on her mind and he's horrified and upset about what he hears from her and (after lots of cuddles and kisses and reassurances) he's off to call Jason and make sure, by whatever means necessary, that Lian has no reason to continue to feel like this.

I made myself sad making Lian this upset. So now I really have to write the story so I can fix everything. Yikes!

so i tried to imagine solangelo as parents to human babies and the first thing that came to mind was nico managing to terrorise the children with scary stories that he honestly just doesn’t realise are scary and will walking into the room, full government naming him and complaining about the future nightmares he’ll have to deal with because nico sleeps like the dead 💀
