“Marry me, Ella,” he said again, the order a whisper now. “Say you’ll marry me.”
Anyone else could have said no or yes. This wasn’t a royal command. Char probably had no idea he’d given an order.
But I had to obey—wanted to obey—hated to harm him—wanted to marry him. I would destroy my love and my land. They were in danger, and no one could rescue them. We were all doomed, all cursed.
Char was too precious to hurt, too precious to lose, too precious to betray, too precious to marry, too precious to kill, too precious to obey.
Words rose in me, filled my mouth, pushed against my lips. Yes, I’ll marry you. Yes, I love you. Yes! Yes! Yes!
I swallowed, forcing them down, but they tore at my throat. A strangled noise erupted from me, but not words, not consent.
He put a hand on my shoulder. I must have frightened him, but I couldn’t see his face; my vision had turned inward where the battle raged. I heard Lucinda’s voice, “My gift to Ella is obedience. She will always be obedient.” I saw Mandy telling me to eat my birthday cake. I saw SEEf leering at me and heard him. “No need to be persuasive with this one. It’d cook itself if we told it to.” I saw Olive counting my coins, Mum Olga standing over me while I scrubbed the courtyard, Hattie wearing Mother’s necklace.
I’d eaten the cake, drunk the Tonic, given up the necklace, slaved for my stepmother, let Olive suck me dry. They’d gotten all they wanted of me, but they weren’t going to get Char. Never. Never.

Dreams with messages have returned.
First, I was at an apartment viewing. I kinda liked it and seriously contemplated moving in. I asked the landlady when does she wish to have a new tenant. We were living the 29th day of October so she said she would give me time till next Tuesday to make up my mind. This year's 29th of October IS Tuesday and 7 days from that is Tuesday the 5th of November. I'm curiously waiting if anything important happens on either day :3
Second dream, I was married to an Arab prince. I don't know the country but we were in the Middle-East anyway. We went to this most luxurious shopping mall, super expensive one meant for billionaires. It's name started with SEIF but I can't remember the rest. Google tells there's a shopping mall SEEF in Bahrain. We decided to go our separate ways for a while in the mall and meet in the 6th floor bookstore, my favorite.
On my way there I wandered around the boutiques inside when I stumbled upon a single mother and her daughter. The mother was lamenting to her daughter how she's out of money and she didn't know when she gets more.
I gave them a big note from my pocket without even looking how big it was (as people's monthly income was just pocket pennies to me, I was that filthy rich). I knelt in front of the mother and bowed down all the way to the ground saying:
"Allah has told us to look after one another so please, take this."
When the mother didn't know how to thank me, she was so surprised, I said:
"Allah brought us together today for this purpose. There's no need to thank me".
Meaning that there are no coincidences as Allah arranges all because he loves us.
---
Which is an interesting dream because I'm not a Muslim and have never lived in an Islamic country, nor I personally know any Muslims. (I don't personally know much people anyway....)
Since I had both of these dreams during the same sleep, and felt a bit abrasiveness about the new tenant contract but I loved the married rich princess life, it might be a message to aim higher. Not to settle with a tenant apartment when you can score yourself a billionaire and that lifestyle - which then allows me to genuinely help other people as intended because I have resources (and influence) to do so. However that actually plays out since we're talking with symbols here.

Who wants to read a things I wrote.
“Oh, Chora Ellis? She’s dead.”
Kendrick felt his throat drop into his chest. “What?”
“Yeah, just a couple of months back, sorry. Surprised you hadn’t heard.”
“But . . . what happened?”
“Well, she came back to visit, and I guess it was just her time. Something with her lungs.”
Yalli swore softly. “Just like that?”
The bureaucrat shrugged. “Way of the worlds.”
Chora dead. Just like that. It didn’t make any sense.
“Is there a way for us to pay her our respects?” Kendrick asked weakly.
“Sure.” Rummaging through his desk, the bureaucrat pulled out a sheet of paper and swiped through it before handing it to Kendrick. “Just head straight through town, and where it ends, take a right. They’ll let you rent a suit at the bottom, it comes with a free two hours of air. This map will show you where Chora’s laid out. She was a nice lady, I was sad to see her go.”
Kendrick and Yalli followed his directions and soon found themselves on Helios’ dead surface, stars cobwebbed across the black sky overhead as they trudged through the dust in faintly musty suits. The only sign of settlement on the barren landscape was the still, white bundles laid carefully out with no ornamentation except for the names plainly printed on the fabric. Between the too-thin atmosphere and the too-cold perpetual night, the bodies of the miners would never have the chance to decay. Mummies, all.
They found Chora.
It wasn’t right. Chora — smart, cautious, blunt, Chora — she shouldn’t be dead. But there she was.
Looking down at the wrapping over Chora’s body, Kendrick felt his eyes begin to sting. Clearing his throat roughly, he switched on his radio. “Yalli, you want to say a few words?”
Yalli’s suit swiveled towards him awkwardly. “Me?”
“Well, yeah.” Kendrick sniffed. Inside a helmet, you couldn’t blow your nose. “You knew her longer.”
“You knew her better,” Yalli shot back. “She didn’t care for me. She thought I drank too much.”
“You do drink too much.”
“Well, yeah. But she liked you more. It’d better if you said something.”
Conceding the point, Kendrick turned back toward the body. He thought about Chora. Then he clicked on his radio again. “I can’t think of anything to say.”
“What, and I can?”
“Well —”
“What are you two idiots doing up here?”
When you screamed in a helmet, it echoed. His ears ringing and heart skipping double-dutch, Kendrick almost overbalanced. Yalli did.
The suit they hadn’t noticed come up behind them stood, legs apart, fists on hips, in an eerily familiar attitude. “I heard the Fezzig was in dock, so I go to meet it and your new hires say you’ve gone off looking for me,” Chora’s voice filtered through again, “So I try to chase you clowns down and Seef tells me you’ve come up here to pay respects to my grandma.”
Kendrick looked at Chora, alive and well or something worse than dead, then at the body, clearly labeled with her name, then back at Chora. “Your grandma?” he wheezed, “so you’re not —”
Chora waggled her hand at him, prompting him to turn on his radio.
“You’re not dead?”
“Not last I checked.”
Yalli was still on his back, waving his arms and legs like a hermetically sealed beetle. Chora stumped over and rolled him to his hands and knees.
“None of you could ever pronounce my name right,” she said, “Chora Ellis was my dad’s mom. I’m Chora Ellis. Hear the difference?”
“Chora?” Kendrick asked, uncertainly.
“Eh, close enough.”
Yalli had managed to resume a roughly bipedal position, and he shoved their old crewmate in a friendly fashion. “Good to see you’re still below ground,” his voice crackled, “We should get a drink to celebrate.”

let's go wiiiithhh- King! or siffrin. or both! :D your choice <3
character opinion bingo
SO I HAD A THING AND TUMBLR DELETED IT.
i feel like my thoughts about the king are very boring!!! hes a great character and serves super well as the 'villain' of the game while also not overshadowing the fact that the loops themselves are really the antagonist, and as such siffrin is only hurting themself. his motivations for preserving vaugarde, his desperation to remember his country, its all very good. also his design fucks.
the sniffrin! the seef! sif!!!!! gosh sif is such a good character i need to shake them around real hard. i love him!!! siffrin is a phenomenal fucking protagonist. he says a lot of stuff in the game thats really a punch in the gut. which is very the point. as a Horrifically touch starved bitch i see them. i understand them.
i love sif but i can never word it right!!! which is probably why my sif playlist has 70 songs!!! i think about this little freak all the time!!!!

Just Imagine
Just a short little Madoka joke story I’ve had sitting around that I decided to share.
Words: ~1000
Summary: It's spring, and a young girl's fancy turns to romance.
Also on Ao3
-----------------------------------
“Akemi-san.”
Homura froze, still holding the grief seef she’d just picked up, an inch away from being stowed safely in her shield.
“My, my,” Mami said, her voice even. A bead of sweat ran down the back of Homura’s neck as Mami drew closer from behind, until she was practically touching. Reaching over her shoulder, Mami took her wrist, lifting it so that she could see the gem clutched tightly in her fingers. “You’ve been hunting witches.”
“...”
“This is my territory, Akemi-san,” Mami whispered in Homura’s ear, pulling her wrist up closer, forcing Homura against her. “That means you’re stealing from me when you kill my witches and take my grief seeds.”
Homura remained silent, her heart beating so loudly that she was sure Mami could hear it.
“That makes you a theif, little miss Akemi,” Mami said. “And thieves need to be punished.”
Reaching a hand into Homura’s shirt, Mami smiled as Homura let out a little whimper-
-----------------------------------
“No, no, no!” Sayaka said, waving her arms as if to clear the image from the air between them. “Mami wouldn’t do that!”
“Eh?” Kyouko said, sitting back and frowning. “Why not? This place is her turf, you know? She’s had to fight other magical girls for it in the past. Just cause she wanted to team up with you doesn’t mean she doesn’t protect what’s hers.”
“She doesn’t treat it like her property!” Sayaka snapped. “She only fought other magical girls for it because they decided that there was only enough room for one! And besides, who would do something like that to someone they caught stealing?”
Kyouko coughed and looked away.
“Oh my god, you didn’t,” Sayaka said.
“No!” Kyouko said hurriedly. “Everyone one Kazemino threw down right away, you know? I never got anyone that passive about bein’ caught.”
“Thank god,” Sayaka said, pulling a face.
Kyouko resolved never to tell Sayaka that she’d daydreamed about that very scenario before. And she definitely wasn’t going to tell her who had been playing the role of the theif...
“Anyway, Mami wouldn’t do that, okay?!” Sayaka said, retaking control of the conversation “She believes in justice, but not that kind of weird ‘justice’.”
“Oh yeah? Well how would it go, then?”
“I’ll tell you,” Sayaka said.
-----------------------------------
“Tomoe-senpai,” Homura said, clasping her hands to her chest and looking down, her head turned away. “I… I have something to tell you.”
-----------------------------------
“Woah, woah, hold on. When the hell has Homura ever called her ‘Tomoe-senpai’? You don’t even call her that!” Kyouko interrupted. “Not even Madoka calls her that anymore.”
“She’s not going to call her Tomoe Mami when she’s confessing her love!” Sayaka argued. “She just calls her that around us because she’s all weird and cold with everyone.”
“Except Madoka,” Kyouko pointed out, putting her hands behind her head.
“She’s extra weird with Madoka,” Sayaka replied, making a face. “Anyway how about ‘Tomoe-chan’?”
“No way. How ‘bout just Mami-chan?”
“Uh, do you really think that sounds like something Homura would call Mami?”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right…”
The two of them paused.
“...Mami-onee-san?” Kyouko suggested.
“...”
They paused again, contemplating the idea.
-----------------------------------
“Mami-onee-san,” Homura said, clasping her hands to her chest and looking down, her head turned away. “I… I have something to tell you.”
“Oh?” Mami asked, turning to face her. “What is it, my darling kouhai? You can tell me anything.”
“I…” Homura said, looking up at Mami tearfully. “Mami-onee-chan, I love you!”
“Oh, Homura,” Mami said, pulling her into a hug. “I love you too, of course.”
“Mami-onee-chan…!”
-----------------------------------
Kyouko sighed and leaned back in her chair, putting her feet up on the desk until Sayaka swatted them off. “Too bad that’d never happen.”
“Yeah,” Sayaka said, sighing. “It’d be nice, right?”
“Yeah. It’d be pretty… well…” Kyouko flushed a little, and coughed to cover it up.
“Yeah,” Sayaka said. “It’d totally be hot.”
“Wh-” Kyouko said, her eyes widening. “I just meant it would be nice if Mami would freakin’ get laid already!”
“Oh come on!” Sayaka said defensively. “You can’t deny that it’s true!”
“Well, I mean, maybe, sure,” Kyouko admitted.
Sayaka sighed and slumped on the desk. “But noooo, Homura’s just gotta go around being a creep about Madoka instead…”
“Not like you’re lettin’ it happen so far,” Kyouko said.
“Madoka is my wife!” Sayaka wailed. “I’m not going to give her up so easily just because some transfer student has her eye on her!”
Kyouko rolled her eyes. “I think you just don’t like Homura going after her,” she said.
“Can you blame me?” Sayaka said.
“Guess not.”
“What, exactly, are you still doing in the classroom?”
Sayaka and Kyouko glanced over at the door to see Homura there, a broom in her hands and her eyebrow raised, a condescending gaze fixed on the two of them.
“We’re just talkin’,” Kyouko said. “Got a problem?”
“You really should be heading home by now,” Mami said, appearing from behind Homura.
“What are you still doing in the school, then?” Sayaka challenged Homura.
“I have cleaning duty,” Homura said.
“You stuck cleaning as well, Mami?” Kyoko asked.
“I promised to cover for a classmate, actually,” Mami admitted. “They had an urgent appointment.”
“You’re too soft,” Kyouko scoffed. “They probably just didn’t wanna do it, you know.”
“That’s just you,” Sayaka said.
“Either way, I need to go,” Mami said. “Goodbye, you two. You really should go home soon, alright?”
“Alright, alright,” Sayaka said. “Bye Mami.”
“Seeya Mami,” Kyouko said, waving.
Mami turned to Homura.
“I’ll see you when I get home, okay?” she said. “You still have my spare key, right?”
“Of course,” Homura said.
“Wha-” Sayaka spluttered.
“Go ahead and let yourself in, then. See you later.” Mami leaned over and kissed Homura on the cheek, then turned and quickly walked off, blushing.
Homura frowned as Sayaka and Kyouko stared at her shock.
“I would appreciate if you wouldn’t look at me like that, Miki Sayaka,” she said, putting her broom in the closet and closing the door slightly more sharply than necessary. “Hurry up and go home already.”
With that, she took her bag and left the classroom.
Sayaka and Kyouko sat in stunned silence for a moment.
Finally, Kyouko spoke.
“Dang. That really was kinda hot.”

An unlikely alliance
“They were never quite sure what they were to each other, but they were soon inseparable. He called them Seef. They called him Fleabag, Drool Face, Cicada, Big Guy, Gibbering Mouther (Because he’s big, ugly, and never shuts up), and a selection of other rude nicknames.”

“If we fight Through this battle and win We'll be stronger Than who we were then I already have you But I wanna know you again It's so hard to kiss you When it feels like I'm only a friend I can't control you Or what your heart will decide But I'll never stop trying to fall back in love with what's already mine” 🎶 #myejourneyneverstops (at Al Seef Dubai)

I made banana bread from scratch. Follow ne for more great recipes! . My big reveal is that I don't cook (or bake, lol) and my point is that we can't excel at everything. We all have our fortes and our weakenesses, and that's ok. . Better to focus on what we're good at, or what we enjoy doing (these often coincide), and no need to fret about the rest (although wanting to improve is never a bad idea!). . What's your main forte? Mine is organization :) . . . #invisiblereach #coach #coaching #lifecoach #beyourself #selfcare #openmind #love #openminded #life #acceptance #wisdom #seef #transformation #transformationcoach #Manama #Bahrain #forte #recipe #followme #weakness #bananabread #focus https://www.instagram.com/p/B9a32Yhl1ek/?igshid=1bravn8nsye21
