We as a fandom do not talk enough about Luke in the Sea of Monsters. Like, what do you mean that one of the first things he did after running away from camp was go and buy a whole new wardrobe with his great- grandpa’s money? And it was probably some of the sluttiest clothes that a male antagonist could wear? "He looked like he had walked right off of the runway"??

You can tell that he was trying to cope with the trauma through retail therapy ( I do the same)! He was fighting every single one of his demons but still made sure to look good. If he was going to "⚔️Slay⚔️" that didn’t mean that he couldn’t "✨Slay 😌💅✨". Purely iconic behavior 😌

LUKE THOMPSON as Benedict Bridgerton | S03E03 ‘Forces of Nature’

pilot boba au in which he ends up working for fenn rau instead of lenovar and actually gets to have a mostly-legal mostly-intact life

he's one of the Protector pilots in rau's squadron and lives with sintas and ailyn on the old fett farm. he takes over as leader of the protectors/pilot squadron after rau gets kidnapped. after the empire obliterates most of the protector camp, he and the surviving members of his squad reunite with rau and join the rebellion.

he and rau accompany luke on the first trench run. rau engages vader (both of their ships get destroyed/disabled and they end up fighting beskad-vs-lightsaber style while floating in space until han shows up to rescue rau). boba goes with luke as the backup - if luke misses, they won't have time to get anyone else in the trench, so his plan is basically to go up to the vent and detonate the slave 1s entire arsenal. it would kill him and probably luke, but at least one of the explosives would definitely hit the reactor.

sometime around rotj, he runs into omega (who is also a rebellion pilot). he hasn't really worked out his issues with jedi and other clones, and proceeds to have A Lot Of Emotions about the surprise twin sister. this happens directly in the background of the luke and leia twin reveal. there are a lot of long-lost twins in the rebellion, apparently.

he, hera, and han have a somewhat-friendly competition for Best *Non Force Sensitive* Pilot Of The Generation. sometime before/around the mandalore arc, he finds out that sabine got sort-of-exiled for being Not Death Watch. he and sintas send her a crate of specialized explosives for her birthday.

during the battle of endor, sintas and ailyn go with the death star generator team and boba goes with the reactor-bombing team.

Wild that Grover can outright say that the reason he was sent to pick up Thalia and bring her to Camp Half-Blood was because they (the Camp and Chiron) knew that Hades was actively sending monsters to try and kill her but the fandom and Thalia still blame her death on Luke because he *checks notes* fought the monsters sometimes instead of always running away.

like yes he did bad things but he was literally being manipulated and PUNISHED (canonically, he mentions kronos punished him in tlt) and this started when he was 17 THAT WE KNOW OF it could've started earlier since thalia was meant to be the prophecy child

like luke or not, PLEASE remember kronos is the main antagonist of the first series, luke was just a pawn like the other ta kids

it’s been said before but it’s such a shame that Baela (and Jace too, now I think about it) lack a lot of agency and depth in the show, and only really exist to prop up their teammates. logically speaking, there’s a lot of calamitous things that have happened to them and the people in their life that should be causing some significant inner turmoil or resentment towards their faction, but so much of that is completely overlooked

A/N: Hi! No problem at all, that was one of my favourite requests, so I’m happy to do another one :3 (Hope you don't mind me adding Luke lol)

Scenario: MC came to the Devildom as a child exchange student and touched the hearts of all the boys. However, they didn’t stay in contact with any of them after the year was up. 10 years later, a certain human calls Barbatos and invites The Royals and the Purgatory Hall Trio to meet up with them in the human world

Genre: Fluff

Content: GN! MC (They/Them), partner uses They/Them as well, platonic relationships between boys and MC, angels age slower than humans, Barbatos has ✨dream visions✨ Brothers Ver.

------ Diavolo

Naturally, the prince was ecstatic that MC even still remembers him (it is pretty hard to forget someone like the literal demon prince), much less wants to meet up again. He will absolutely get a bunch of things that he remembers MC liking, constantly sending them pictures and asking for their opinion to ensure they still do, so it isn't really a surprise gift. He tries his best to focus on his duties, he really does, but it is pretty hard to when you get to see the human that you missed after 10 years in a few weeks. First thing this man does when they all see MC? Give 'em an inescapable hug that he will not stop until he realizes that MC is a human and does not have the lungs of a demon. Diavolo is very happily asking how MC is, and listens like a proud father when MC recounts life events (and offers words of praise whenever the life event they described was challenging, like “you’re very resilient for being able to face that”, etc).

He’s happy MC found love and introduces himself warmly to their partner. He’s not overtly threatening, because he does trust MC to date good people, but he does keep some tabs on the partner.

Barbatos

He was expecting the message because he had gotten flashes of the reunion in his dreams, so it didn’t come as a total shock to him, but he couldn’t help but feel a bit happy about it, despite the trouble MC had caused him in the first exchange program. He told everyone in a timely manner and was busy working to ensure nothing was destroyed while Diavolo and him were gone on the days leading up to the visit. (Thankfully Lucifer reassured him that the brothers would keep anything too drastic from happening).

Has to (gently) pry Diavolo away from hugging MC to ensure the human doesn’t die. Will make pleasant small talk with MC, asking how they are, what they do now, etc. He’s glad to see how MC matured despite there being a year in their life where a lot of very traumatizing or negative things happened. Despite taking a sort of break from his butler duties, he still very much prepares some tea and desserts he brought to the human world, unable to break away from the lifestyle of serving people before relaxing.

Upon meeting their partner, Barbatos will remain calm compared to the brothers. He's lived long enough to know that they aren't of any threat, so he doesn't worry about it too much, perhaps might even introduce their partner to new desserts and such things

Solomon

Let’s be real, he probably went to the human world to protect MC from any harm on many occasions, probably even talking to them sometimes. For the purpose of this, let’s say he had interacted with them in the past, he does tell the others this, feeling slightly smug about it.

He’s says how much he missed them despite literally talking to them a few weeks prior to the meet up, subtly asking questions that will get them to talk about things he remembers talking to MC about, and being like “oh yea! I remember that!” He offers his input on occasion. He has seen how MC matured but that doesn’t stop him from teasing them, and sort of treating them like a kid.

Has done extreme background checks on MC’s partner and deduced that they are no harm to them. He’s glad MC found someone they admire and share affection with, perhaps would share some (odd but teachable) anecdotes about his experiences in love

Simeon

When Barbatos invited him, Luke and Solomon to go to the human world to visit MC, he was surprised, yet excited. He suggested Luke bake and bring some pastries MC liked, perhaps getting a gift for them himself if they like to receive them.

Lingers in the background as he waits for an opportunity to speak. His joy is much more subtle than Diavolo’s, but the hug he gives clearly shows how happy he is to meet with the human again. Simeon teases MC just a tiny bit with Solomon, engaging in the playful banter, but makes sure Solomon doesn’t tease too much.

Surprised and delighted to see MC’s partner. Introduces himself warmly, and is slightly amused at how they seem so confused with his angelic warmth. Encourages Luke to offer a dessert to their partner. He doesn’t catch onto anything sinister, but he might ask for Barbatos’ opinion about MC’s partner later.

Luke

While in a baking lesson, Barbatos tells him about an opportunity to talk to MC again, and he is ecstatic, probably seeming like he was on a sugar high to the outside eyes with how much he was bouncing off the walls before focusing all his attention on the pastries Barbatos and him were making, before starting to make other various pastries he made with MC. He was still a bit young due to angels and humans having vastly different aging patterns, but he was still excited to show MC how he improved.

Brings a basket full of treats all cutely wrapped up. Probably the most thrown off by how MC aged much quicker than him. Looks at Simeon in confusion like “how is MC so much taller than me???” Other than that though, happily shows off his newly acquired skills in baking while catching up on all the things he missed with MC.

With his own personal development, he had learned to not be so distrustful of people, so he kind of just mimics Simeon’s actions while greeting MC’s partner. He probably pulls MC aside later to ask some questions purely because he’s worried, but MC assured Luke that he just needs to get to know their partner more.

The messiest part about Lukabeth dynamic is that while their love couldn't save them, it was enough to save litteraly everyone else and the gods even if it was messy as shit.

And quite litteraly everyone was mad at her for believing in luke like accusing her of being a spy and then said hope saved their asses i know she was mad. In my personal hc this is why she doesn't talk about luke after the war and also she doesn't speak a word of how his visit pre labyrinth went down. Like some people know it happened like percy but they don't know what he said or any of the specifics she takes that shit to the grave. And when she realizes luke saw her in the river of styx ? Shes brings it up everytime someone insuniates he didn't love her.

i think in part why annabeth doesn’t talk about luke after the war is just her way of coping with the trauma (repression! 👍) + i feel like Richard tried to do the whole “bigger fish to fry” thing. but like…it also kinda pisses me off how her coping with luke’s death was never really covered in HoO. it might have had a few spare lines, but not really the in-depth alteration to annabeth’s character or the percabeth dynamic that would be expected. (maybe she learned to cope in like the 3 months between series but like…i’m calling BS?? he was a major influence in her life for 10 years??)

i could also see annabeth being very resentful & closed off about luke as well, even to percy (especially to percy? 👀) due to his own bitter feelings towards luke. & maybe when she learned luke saw her in the styx she didn’t tell anyone, even if that is the strongest proof of how he felt about her, the strongest proof that he loved her (in whatever way that may be). & ofc it makes her sound like a child when she says she Just Knew that he loved her, that his love woke him up from kronos’s possession, but annabeth doesn’t care. she holds the thought close, replaying it over and over, wondering what she was like from luke’s point of view.

she wonders, late into the night on the argo II, if she looked different, better, from luke’s perspective instead of percy’s. she wonders, living in a world where no one truly appreciates luke’s sacrifice but annabeth, if she should have ran away with him like he begged.

I understand why people tend to draw Luke a bit more tan because he's outside a lot for missions and just in general, but canonically he's pale (and Rosa jokes around about his paleness in the 1st chapter of the main story). I had this thought that pale people burn really easily and need lots of sunscreen. So my brain told me that the first time Aaron saw Luke as red as a lobster because he got sunburnt even though Luke said that "he doesn't need sunscreen", Aaron goes full on parent mode and starts making sure that Luke always puts on sunscreen (against his will).

THIS IS SO CUTE UEHHH i am endlessly endeared by luke pearce, Rugged Man Extraordinaire, being vulnerable by the common inconvenience of sunburn
