Ok, New Ikepri Event Point System

We all have opinions on it. Probably not the best ones, especially if you’re a F2P player or are low on resources. What are we gonna do about it?

Let’s math it out.

Put down the sword Chev. And yeah Leon, I know buddy, math hurts*

*But anything for you sweet Lion man. And Chev, I know your fans feel similarly for you.

So, the event is from 7/29 through 8/10. 13 days. 30,000 points required to read an entire character story.

There are 13 lucky times, not including the one hour double lucky times for hitting the 25K, 50K, 70K, 80K love point milestones.

If you have a card line-up with all 5-stars, regardless of character, you’ll get at least 100 points for every 20 AP as long as you’re following a friend with a 5-star card as their leader like in this screenshot below. That’s a minimum of 500 points per full 100 AP. 100 AP = every five hours.

If you time the 10 free daily ads to play during each lucky time during the 13 day time period that is: 200 AP * 10 ads = 2000 points for each of the 11 double lucky times, or 22,000 points total. And then the two triple times are 300 AP * 10 ads = 3000 points for each of the 2 triple times, or 6,000 points total. That’s 28,000 points on just ads, or almost enough for one complete story.

In the standard exchange shop, if you have 1500 exchange tickets, you can trade those for 10 full cake sets (+100). Time using those cake sets for a triple time. One full cake set (+100) with a full 5-star deck is 300 AP * 5 or 1,500 points. Times that by ten full cake sets and that’s another half an event story there (15,000 points).

Each of the lucky times that aren’t associated with total point milestones are 8 hours each. If you time the lucky times so that you’re at full AP at the beginning and end of each lucky period that’s two times you’ll have full AP. So that’s:

200 AP * 5 = 1,000 AP for the double lucky times. Do that twice for each lucky time and that’s 2,000 AP and times 11 double luck times that’s 22,000 points.

For the two triple luck times that’s 300 AP * 5 = 1500 AP. Do that twice for each lucky time and that’s 3,000 AP or 6,000 AP total.

So with maximizing freely accumulated AP and timing the lucky times that’s 28,000 points, or close to another story.

Without even factoring the non-lucky times to use AP or previously saved/bought cake sets, if you use ads and really watch and max out the lucky times, that’s basically 2 full event stories. And the standard exchange shop can get you another half story there if you’re fortunate to have the tickets.

There are other ways to eke out more points too:

Find friends with a leader with a +99 card. You’ll get a slightly higher boost in AP. (With your cards, have your leader be the card with the highest BP so YOUR friends can get the boost too).

Time and max out the double lucky times for the point milestones for AP too.

Play the free gacha everyday. You could get a cake set to apply to lucky times.

For the particularly diligent, set a timer on your phone every 5 hours so you are getting and using as much free AP as possible.

I wrote this 3AM my time (and 3AM math may be nearly as dangerous as Chev with a sword) but I think this all checks out.

And with these descriptions, I can’t help but picture the following:

Leon and Jin taking their adopted younger selves out to a zoo. These children are COVERED in sweets and meats. So are Leon and Jin.

In the background, Keith and his mini-me are plucking plants growing on the zoo pathways, insisting “NO IM THE LOWLIEST WEED!”

Matias and his younger self sit on a bench, each immersing themselves in a fantasy story they’re telling the other.

Just outside the zoo gates, there’s a sign that reads “do not feed the wild animals”. The sign is in a forest where young Kagari and Azel now reside (The older Azel adds a second sign that says “children can be fed with a size-able donation”).

For the child prince event - there seems to be three teams of princes

Team 1 - Adoption

The child has had a rough past, and the Prince is down with a surprise adoption

Team 2 - Competition

Anything the child prince can do, the adult can do better

Team 3 - Rejection

The prince is too embarrassed to admit that he might have been a child at one point in his life and wants to abandon the child in the local wilderness.
