Hello my lovely loyal followers! I want to apologize to anyone who has left something in my inbox and has not gotten a response at this time or for a long while! I've been pretty busy and haven't really had time/motivation for much writing these days. BUT that doesn't mean i'm ignoring you and do not see your requests, or that I'm no longer active! Just expect some slower response times than you may have been used to.

In addition to this, I can really feel most fandoms and fanfiction not getting nearly as much attention and traction as they used to, which also hinders the desire to write as of late. Just a friendly reminder that if you like someone's work, maybe take the time to repost or put a lil' comment, it makes all the world of difference for our hard-working writers who do this for free and for (oftentimes) Your entertainment!

Another reminder that not getting a response does NOT mean I have anything against you or the request you sent in! I appreciate ALL the little requests you guys send in and I ADORE talking to you all! Just busier times is all. So please don't take it personally! <3

I've been meaning to make a post about for a while, so I guess this ask is a good opportunity.

TL;DR I haven't felt inspired to write anything Maasverse related in months. The latter half of 2023 and all of 2024 so far have been horrendous for me IRL and I don't have the mental bandwidth for much else beyond getting by.

The second half of LFSWDTB is outlined to completion. Unfortunately HOFAS disappointed me to the point where canon killed my drive to write for the moment.

I'm incredibly grateful for the friends and community I've gathered from this fandom--I just don't have the spoons (don't like that term but idk what else to call it) to write at the moment :/

Anyway, it's TWCTD next. The chapter is mostly written, I just need to finish it off and edit. After that, depending on the muse, it's probably Amanita Virosa.

Sophie goes up to the bath, her hands fiddling with the tie of the dressing gown. Benedict turns away.

“That is very gallant of you.”

“I am a gentleman.”

“I would not mind; you are to be my husband after all.”

Benedict scrunches his eyes shut and almost groans, his resistance waning. Perhaps the audience might see him mouthing:

You are a gentleman. You are a gentleman.

“This is my mother’s house,” he manages to choke out.

“As you desire.”

He hears the thump of the dressing gown, the ripple of her limbs entering the water and he bites his lips to keep himself in check. But, he cannot restrain his eyes from wandering over his shoulder…

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing
