Silly little mock-up cause i'm itching to get started.
#Tansy tag#lots of little things that need doing#but it runs so i don't need to worry about that before i start on the fun stuff#also the more i look at this bike the more i'm wondering what the story is exactly#because it was originally customised in germany#then it got imported over here#and yeah it's a neat little bike in a lot of ways#and the work that's been put into it is pretty solid#but it's nothing special#it has some strange little solutions here and there#and the tank looks like someone went over it with spackle and then painted it with a brush??#not to mention the weird double kawasaki decal situation and the hipster fuel cap#so i REALLY wish i knew what made that one person go through the trouble of importing it#cause you can get finished custom bikes that are nice than this for pretty decent prices#so i really wish i knew what it was that made that one person go through the trouble of importing this one specifically#i'm grateful they did cause now i get to own it but still#it's a mystery#(and i'm grateful the guy i bought it off clearly also didn't like the old tank cause it came with a brand new one)

getting to that point in the college application process where i'm starting to realize that everyone else is doing so much more than me and that there's like nothing that stands out about me
#i do sports and clubs and stuff#but it's nothing special#and the rest of my free time is spent reading or watching stuff or rambling on here#and ik it's a hobby or whatever#an interest at that#but it's just idk#ik i should focus on my application(s) and showing my true self and all that but it's just hard to not compare#especially when so many people know what they want to major in and what they want to do after school and i still don't know-#so that makes questions about my passions and stuff harder#anyway that was a vent#geo rambles#might delete later

sad: falling out of a hyperfixation
tragic: watching your beloved friends and mutuals fall out of the hyperfixation while you're still in it
#oughhhhhhh#this is about the dca fandom but also about every other strong fixation ive had over the years lol#i know it's normal and inevitable esp for less popular works or minor characters with little canon content#and there's nothing wrong with smaller communities of course those rock#but there’s just something special about getting into something at the same time as a lot of other people all at once#and existing in this chaotic fandom space that's just bursting with creativity and passion#i've been in fandom spaces for as long as some of you have been alive and i've only come across that sort of unbridled joy like#a handful of times at best#it's just a heartbreaking feeling to see real lightning in a jar fandoms like that wither away as people drift away#(understandably so!)#anyway don't mind me i'm just having thoughts#musing about fandoms past as well#that i too eventually moved on from but remember fondly even if im not active in anymore#also my music just aint hitting right so im just sitting in silence which makes me more Contemplative(tm)

it is insane how normal i am medicated like. you mean this was an option the whole time. what
