People: Dragon Ball focuses too much on Goku. He’s so strong, so nobody else has to do anything.

Goku: Loses first 2 tournaments in og. Dies twice. Only kills one major villain in all of Dragon Ball Z, and it’s the villain that everyone wanted Gohan to kill.

Also are we just gonna ignore how the Namek/Frieza saga was mostly Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta just doin shit? They did so much in that entire arc

#also he spent the first two arcs of dragon ball literally just training and running to get to the battle mostly #he barely even fights in the android and cell saga #almost character besides Goku in DBZ’s first 4 arcs have a LOT more screen time #honestly #I’d say Gohan is on par with Goku as the main character #also the entire Namek saga and most of the frieza saga were just the side characters fighting with brief stints of Goku #I can understand how it seems like it’s the Goku show #but it’s really not #original dragon ball is #and honestly it’s not even worse for it #og dragon ball is fuckin awesome #but you can tell that dragon ball z is a show about ALL the characters #because in og we always follow Goku and his adventures #in dbz we follow everyone else too #even when they aren’t with Goku #which is basically something that never happened in the non filler episodes of og #ok thanks #dbz #dragon ball #dragon ball z #db #this is only about og and dbz btw #not super #yes super is more of the Goku show lol #Goku #son goku

I have been seeing a few posts discussing how Andrew never told bee about his ~not relationship~ with Neil and they attribute it to him being afraid of her thoughts about his sexuality and I’m just shocked. He is not afraid of Betsy knowing he’s gay (I would even go as far to say his queerness was probably something heavily discussed in therapy given his history). He was afraid because Betsy can read him for filth and he knew his feelings went deeper for Neil than he was ready to deal with. He never brought Neil up to Betsy because one look at his face and she would know everything that he isn’t ready to face about who Neil truly is to him.

#I mean like yeah in a way he was afraid of Betsy finding out about it and maybe judging him #but it’s really not #it’s about her seeing right through him and he wasn’t ready to approach it

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.

filipina miku!! my mom helped me with her outfit ^_^

#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH #i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing #this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only #know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that #make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3 #the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design #so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery #i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess #my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty #originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY #but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw #my art #myart #hatsune miku #miku worldwide #philippines #vocaloid #miku
