I had a homework assignment for my favorite class to do 40 thumbnail stills from a favorite tv show or movie, I chose lotr + my one absolute favorite shot from the hobbit as a treat :))

I was lowkey dreading it before I started bc it seemed like so much work, but it was actually really chill and easy and I honestly enjoyed it a lot!! it made me wanna do more screencap redraws in the future :)

maybe it’s bc i’m better at it than before but it’s just such a peaceful part of the art process and i really like giving my lines all the weight and detail jjsndnf it’s just rlly fun and i rlly like it

guys i have so much homework this week:(

#and none of its even FUN i never have fun assignments this semester #i have to finish this huge maze for perspective drawing on tuesday. and i have my midterm essay due for art history on wednesday #thats it basically actually i finished all the other stuff today #it just is a lot i rlly am not sure if i actually have time bc i also have work tomorrow #like if i knew i could spend all of tomorrow after class working on the maze id feel a lot better abt it but i will probably have to do a #decent chunk of it on tuesday before class... hate that #god i was trying to vent abt it but now ive stressed myself out i need to go to SLEEP so i can wake up and work on it before class. OKAY #heres the plan. I can do at LEAST 2 hrs before work. 2 hours after. That is a decent chunk done and then I can wake up early the next day #and i have until 5 to finish it. EASY #THEN after class i can start the essay. next day wednesday i have literally the whole day. its only two pages it doesnt have to be good #also i have to do laundry that day bc on thursday im going to visit erik for fall break:) it will be a good relaxing break i hope

#been working on art. just wanna practice the piano honestly but alas i dont have a second one here at home.#man i want a string instrument so bad. shouldve bought the pipa i saw for sale a couple of months back 😔😔😔#jk i dont want a pipa i want an oud i want an oud so bad im gonna throw up #also had to cut my practice short this morning so 😔😔😔#this is a recent thing btw!!#before now #ive just been playing the piano for fun and vibes (“ooh nice chord”) without ever learning anything properly #but learning pieces is kinda fun!! also scales are difficult which makes it fun!! it's been real nice and relaxing to practice!!#but aghhhhh the fun of learning the piano makes me remember the fun of learning the guitar #learning how to play on instruments is just fun #rlly. i want lots so can i have lots of fun!!

my cat is scared of thunderstorms

#cried twice cuz of him. i love him so much #he was under the couch moaning and he moved to outside ny bedroom door to cont moaning cuz i didnt hear him at first just my housemate did #i come out and hes like. visibly shaking and moaning #i wantsd to vomit ive only seen him like this when i first got him cuz he was terrified #im tearing up again i just care about him so much #hes sitting near yhe door in my room rn and hes much more relaxed #he doesnt want to cuddle too much tho which is fine w me #i hope he wants to soon tho tbh i feel so bad for him #im geniunely so happy hes feeling better #he came in my room and moaned and was sitting the same thaf he was in the hallway #i was chilling with him for a while in the hallway but he could still eat so i knew he wasnt too bad yk #he wasnt panting just shivering a bit and looking worried #and i kept walking by and checking up on him and he sat up and wasnt shivering anymore so idk #went over to him when he moaned in my room he was all crouched again and looking terrified #pet him a little bit and he shuffled around and just. flopped #like he seems like himsrlf again hes just chilling #so im rlly fucking happy hes not all terrified anymore #hes got his eyes closed and hes chilling. i cant exit the room eithout interupptjng the chill #so thats fun #hes lucky i love him
