And honestly, most of Natlan gave me a weird vibe, its... too modern...? not that I expected them to be in tribal clothing ofc, it's just weird to see the women with crop tops and FUCKING ORORON WITH JEANS

It's just personal preference tho, I did make Eztli sort of more leaning on post conquista with the pants and metal armor... but also mixed more ancient armor, I hope I did a sort of good job and I'm open to advice!

Also... I'm kinda conflicted with the game, I love it, it's fun for me, but with all that's happening it's just... I don't even know how to write it! I want to separate it from everything that's happening, but it's just so jarring, and I enjoy the characters but their designs make me feel weird, maybe its the fact that I have a positive view of the game since I started playing for someone I love and only continued because I got so attached to it, and I cannot pick up another game and I don't know why

I don't think I like Natlan as much as I hoped, but whatever that's enough whining from me, I think I'll continue until I get the characters I want and ditch the game

And not even to mention Elain's own feelings on reader's attempt. I imagine that similar to cassian, lucien would take both into account before making an opinion.

headcanon that its lucien who drops the bomb on eris that reader attempted her own life with an ash arrow. 👀 eris has been shown to have a soft spot for Luc so i imagine him giving a little bit more of a genuine reaction to news like that from his lil brother? which would be fun to see, (soft eris when!?!?!?!?!?)

Idk I wanna see Luc advocate for reader and imagine the angst from like an Az POV too 👀Bc he talked sm shit ab reader and praised elain, and heres elain's mate defending reader in front of elain? Az's ego needs the hit and i think that in the right circumstance it would make him reconsider his own actions and make amends. I also think it would be a pleasant surprise for reader, to see someone she rarely interacts with still defend her. Not necessarily because he knows her but because it's the right thing to do, which would rock her world and give her a perspective change.

Elucien and Nessian in the way that you write them are really good support systems for reader rn. Elain offers her sweetness, Luc is a good advocate, Nesta is a protector, and Cass is relaxed. All things that i think reader needs rn.

It would also be a perfect way to introduce Helion 👉👈🥺

Elden Ring DLC Build -- Democracy!

Non-Fromsoft people encouraged to vote. I want to be able to blame as many people as possible.

Considerations for each option:

Dexterity: Lean hard into parries. Do four-digit criticals with the Miséricorde. Ruin people's evenings by being smarter than them in PvP. Probably has the most options of the new weapon types in the DLC (notably the goofiest ones). A lot of people will be playing DEX, so I'm not gonna get hipster points...but I can make up for it by not using katanas. Biggest downside is that

Strength: Dunk with overwhelming force. Scare the shit out of people on elevators. The DLC adds throwing weapons, and one of them is a great hammer that you swing around Super Mario 64 style to throw. Doesn't look like it'll have as many new toys, unfortunately. Might be wrong.

Faith/Intelligence: Notably undercooked archetype in the base game, looking to actually be fleshed out in the DLC. Makes use of most magic systems in the game, but excels at evil stuff (skeletons, evil, curses, etc) and -- paradoxically -- high-utility and holy damage miracles. Kinda' ass in PvP, but that won't mean too much until about a month in; most of the people who play this game panic when they're invaded. The closest I'll willingly go to a mage build, and it's on thin ice -- casting spells is boring, especially considering the new weapon archetypes they're going to drop.

DEX/STR: Allows me to dip my toes in both weapon archetypes and find out what I like the most for my 2nd playthrough. Will probably be great for light greatswords, a new archetype that makes your character move like a warrior princess. Not very exciting, but there's a chance it's the best build for the new martial arts weapon type. In which case it's super exciting!

Dragon Cleric: Ultimate glass cannon build that can nevertheless ruin people's evenings by one-shotting them. Has a suite of offensive options, ranging from "biting really hard" to "vaping in the enemy's face to give them tuberculosis." Has something for basically every situation. Kind of a one-trick pony, though -- it relies on a lot of buffs, and if you don't kill something in like two hits you are basically forced to scoop up your own balls and run.

Arcane Scum: Utilize various status effects to irritate people and boost my damage. Or go bleed and just win. I don't see them nerfing statuses in the DLC, but I really hope they do. It's not even fun using bleed to burst down people and bosses anymore. Can be combined with STR or DEX to make some interesting builds, but they're both scummy in their own ways. Bloody Helice is probably the only honorable weapon to use.

Faith: Faith alone is actually kind of boring, only a few steps up from 😪Mage😪. However, mixing it with DEX or STR is dope. DEX/FAI opens up a lot of lightning options, inluding the absolutely wonderful Bolt of Gransax. DEX/STR offers fire, and has an entire class of incantations designed around it. Faith is flexible, which is great since a lot of enemies have immunity to faith-based damage types (fire, holy, lightning, tax evasion, etc). There are always different options when you make a faith build...and this DLC will offer even more. Really, there are a few too many options, and unfortunately a lack of focus can make Elden Ring exhausting. Since I want to relax and enjoy the DLC, I'd need to pick a few solid weapons and stick with them. Ironically, this is kind of limiting.

👁️ I bloody loved Benevolent by @malevolentcast. They absolutely nailed the cheesy Christmas special vibe and I was so happy to hear the long-awaited return of arguably the best character in anything ever at the end there.

🏛 @the-mistholme-museum RUINOUS. Oooh I love a twist on a fountain of youth story and this one was particularly gripping. There are so many new revelations so far this season and I’m thrilled to hear that we’re getting two more episodes! I don’t want it to end!

🎧 Yay more The First Episode Of with @starshipqstar. It was absolutely fascinating from a very indie creator POV to hear how people with talent and experience found approaching audio drama for the first time. But I also think it’s important to address the DEEP SADNESS that there will not be a Starship Q Star season 2!! What?!! Christmas is CANCELLED. 

🐬 The dolphin emoji I use to denote @patterspod has never been more apt as we met Big Wave Dave in the latest episode. If you like weird and you’re not listening to Finding Pattersby, I just don’t know what to tell you. It’s just something else. 

🌨️  @thewhitevault (4) oh MAN I love this show so much.  I refuse to believe that a certain character is really dead but … maybe they are, I just can’t accept it. It sounds as though something absolutely monumental is happening to the show’s main family and I need to know how the stories are going to entangle!!! 

❤️‍🔥 The Love Talker (5) Jeeeeesus this show almost makes me regret listening to it every episode. I love this set-up where we get a new character’s perspective each episode, every new piece of the puzzle is even more disturbing than the last. 

🏢 @somewhereohio (S2E3) oh no! It’s spreading!! It’s honestly a little funny to me to listen to the show as someone who has no context of what makes Ohio, Ohio. I’m sure I’m missing a lot of cultural context but also, after listening, I’m probably not going to visit . . .  also it’s great to hear Rae Lundberg popping up in new shows - they always do such a good job!

🧬 Regina Prime - What a fun departure from the world we think we know in this bonus Regina Prime episode! I feel like the next season is going to be even more expansive and I’m very excited for it!! It’s also made me realise that I no longer trust W Keith Tims in anything after listening to The Love Talker!

of course bisexuality includes heterosexual attraction but i hope ant has more of a storyline than just hooking up with harper with a will they/wont they dynamic… his backstory (including his family) seemed so interesting in season 1 but we never saw it and only heard about it. now it feels like we might not acknowledge it much. part of me just isn’t a huge harper fan honestly. esp. after malakai. and why set up a triangle between amerie x malakai x spider just to bring in a new tall blonde guy who looks like spider? lol. those are my two yellow flags after my first look at the trailer. of course we have to actually see what happens first so i don’t want to be too negative but i want to level my expectations haha.

i looove the concept of someone targeting amerie & them narrowing the suspect down. so fun!

oh! I kind of had an opposite impression. I feel like we are going to see more backstories for Ant, Missy and Spider because of how much more screen time they're going to get this season. so idk we'll see?

also im actually not that big of a harper fan either but i really loved ant even though we didn't get to know him that much so I feel like this pairing could get me to like her more. and maybe it's the fic writer in me but i feel like there is definitely potential for him to get her to open up in a carefree way that she doesn't w anybody else. im excited to see what her friendship dynamics are with everybody because the entire 1st season she was so held back by what she had going on at home and so hopefully we can just see her enjoy herself and be a solid friend to amerie and the group

It looks like he's a photographer and becomes friends with Malakai (at least close enough to ask abt his deal with her). i dont really like love triangles especially when i already have my loyalties so im right there with you with the yellow flag.

i didnt watch the OG Heartbreak High but now im wondering if every season (and we WILL get more seasons trust!!) will have a little mystery plot to them. the 1st season was about what was going on with Harper, why their friendship fell apart and who made up the rumor about Jojo. and now we're gonna have to figure out who's targeting Amerie, etc. Could be really fun ! ✨

Julian prefers to be in smaller groups, really preferably just the two of you, and he loves going back and forth between fun silly conversations and deep serious ones too. Julian would love your yapping, yap away, he's a very good listener. Although he does get a little spaced out sometimes just staring at you and thinking about how beautiful you are and how lucky he is and how he doesn't understand how he deserves you and then he has to awkwardly ask you to repeat yourself. Julian definitely is in need of a therapist friend sometimes but he also would be your biggest supporter when you aren't feeling as well. He'd let you take his bed in Mazlinka's little cabin and he's bring you special medicinal soup and give you lots of space to feel better. Or he'd stay and just cuddle or be there as a comforting presence if you wanted him to. Social anxiety isnt a problem for him, he's mastered the art pretending he's confident, so if you ever shut down socially he can handle it for you. He'd also be so supportive of helping you work on and improve it, it's like acting and he's great at that. He doesn't like conflict either, arguments and tension make him spiral and isolate himself, so he is not one to jump to causing tension. He may have a hard time communicating sometimes but he wants to and he tries to. He'd be so fascinated with your knowledge on architecture, whenever you'd be walking around he'd point out buildings and things and ask what you think about them. He also LOVES that you do theatre, he fucking adores theatre, he would love to take you to shows. He would encourage your sketching writing so much, he'd want to watch if you were okay with it, but he wouldn't mind if you weren't. He'd always be asking to look at your finished works too

❤️ (heart) - Who is the most important person to your character? To what lengths would they go to protect this person?

For Dr. Saverina, it isn't a person but a people: the people of Nightmare Ridge Cavern. It's her home, her neighbours and family, she loves them all dearly and they're very important to her. After all, she left to work for Dr. Blakk in order to keep her cavern safe, so he entire town wouldn't be torn down to make way for the Slugterran Express.

She would do anything if it meant her cavern were to stay untouched.

💔 (broken heart) - Who has your character hurt most? Physically or emotionally? How did it feel? Do they regret it?

She hasn't hurt anyone thus far. If anything, likely herself. She made a choice to give up her own well being and happiness for the sake of her Cavern. She felt scared about leaving everything behind, after all, her employment at Blakk Industries seemed indefinite, but she stayed strong and found some joy in her new situation.

Does she regret it? No, of course not. She kept her people safe, met a boy that's like a son, and met someone kind who caught her eye.

🌹 (rose) - What does your oc find attractive in other people? Are these traits found in their friends and/or romantic partners? Are they found in themselves?

I think she likes intellectual people, people who have a strong passion and drive to accomplish something; strong, not simply physically strong but have an inner strength that she can rely on if her own strength were to ever fail. They must be witty, charming and kind.

She has a strong character herself, very confident in herself, after all she as top of her class and quickly rose to be one of the most praised doctors in Slugterra. She is kind as she has chosen to help others since she was but a child. She isn't afraid to stand up to others and do what is right.

She wants someone who complements her, not completes her, she isn't looking for her other half as she isn't missing any part of herself. She wants a partner she can walk side by side, a partner to rely on.

🎈 (balloon) - What does your character do at parties? Are they a wallflower or a party animal? Do they go with friends or alone?

She's not a wallflower but unless she has a date, she's a chaperone for a friend or a child. She enjoys watching others, enjoys the music and would dance alone or with her friends if she wanted to join the dancefloor.

But if she has a date, let's just say she'd just want to dance the night away with them.

🍷 (wine) - Does your oc drink? What kind of alcohol do they enjoy? What are their drinking habits? What kind of drunk are they?

Dr. Saverina enjoys a drink every now and then. She will never say no to a glass of wine, which she enjoys plenty.

Unfortunately, all she has been drinking is beer. She has been unable to secure a nice bottle of wine as she can't exactly leave the citadel without a cleared chaperone and there isn't anyone who meets those qualifications at the Citadel. And if she asks for some to be delivered, she is given the cheap kind and that won't do.

Saverina is a sentimental drunk, she cries at the smallest of thing that squeeze at her heart. Her always serious face melts into one of joy and is often smiling, finding joy and wonder at everything she sees. It's actually quite adorable but so out of character for her, but not really because that's how she is inside, behind her serious face.

❗️(exclamation point) - What was the scariest moment of your character’s life? Does it still affect them?

Pretty much when she was threatened with a Greneater to sign her life away to Blakk Industries. Everyone knew who Dr. Blakk was, what he had done and most terrifyingly, what could happen if he were to visit you personally.

Everything she had worked for, the prestige she had worked so hard to earn, her entire life, signed away to work for the most feared man in the 99 Caverns. Of course she was terrified, yet despite this, she was strong enough to fight back and ask conditions of her own, and because of her bravery, she was granted them.

She sometimes still dreams of that particular day, she wakes up every time thinking it was all a nightmare, only to be reminded seconds after that she is in fact living that reality.

🥩 (steak) - Does your oc have any coping mechanisms? Healthy or unhealthy?

She is a revenge bedtime procrastinator, she often has eyebags due to this. Dr. Saverina is a busy person and is often very stressed and overworked, so yes, she sacrifices some of her sleep time in order to have a moment of peace. It usually means an hour or two of tea and reading Shadow Clan research essays she has collected.

She also dyes her hair because all the stress has actually given her gray hairs she prefers to hide and is quite ashamed of. She hates the idea that this new life of hers is literally sucking the life out of her.

So that 1-2 hours of peace is much needed for her.

🥀 (wilted flower) - How does your character deal with stressful situations? Is their fear response fight, flight, freeze or fawn?

Fight. Saverina fights despite being afraid. She is witty enough to get herself out of situations.

🍓 (strawberry) - Does your oc believe in anything? Are they superstitious? Religious? Atheistic? Has anything in their past made them this way?

No, she doesn't believe in a deity of any sorts but I wouldn't call her atheistic.

What she believes in is in her team, when they're in surgery, especially a risky one, she has faith every single one of her teammates will prevail and do their job. She has faith in herself and that is all she needs.

💋 (kiss) - Is your oc a good kisser? Have they kissed anyone before? Do they even enjoy kissing? What was their first kiss like in comparison to their most recent?

Dr. Saverina is an amazing kisser hehe. She had a relationship in high school and in med school, she has experimented with her previous partners so she gained experience that way.

Her first kiss was extremely awkward, it was... quite messy and gross but she simply laughed it off and the second wasn't as bad lol They got better at kissing quickly after that hehe.

Her latest kiss was slow and much sweeter because it was her first kiss in a long time. She quite enjoyed it and her heart melted a little inside. The doctor loves her kisses. yes it was desmond, i like to imagine their first kiss together was literally perfect and sweet

🍒 (cherries) - Does your character have a best friend? How long have they known each other? What do they like most about each other? How did they meet?

She does not have a best friend, she had close friends while working at the hospital but never a special someone who she could call her best friend.

Her Boon Doc, Medic, is probably the closest thing she has to a best friend, but he is more her partner, the one she can rely on if her abilities fail her.

HC: Boon Doc's are the most sought out healer slugs because they can heal even the worst of injuries, capable of even bringing someone back from the brink of death. But, they have only a finite amount of times they can heal serious injuries, the more severe the injury, the more energy it requires. This means Boon Doc have to recharge and recover their energy before being able to be used again.

Therefore, Saverina doesn't use Medic unless absolutely necessary.

🚨 (siren) - What’s your character’s relationship with the law? Have they ever been arrested? What for? What are their opinions on law enforcement?

She's a doctor and is thus equal to enforcers of the law in a way. She sees them as teammates if anything, has a respect for them.

That has since changed after Dr. Blakk forced her to work for him, she wonders why nothing could protect her, if maybe... Power is stronger than the law itself.

She resents that Will Shane wasn't there to protect her and yet... she has a hope that maybe the new Shane will end up rescuing her by defeating Dr. Blakk. Maybe that's why she put in jeopardy the fate of her Cavern by helping out that stupid and reckless Shane girl when she infiltrated the Citadel.

Hope.

💄 (lipstick) - What does your oc think of their face? Do they have a positive or negative opinion? Do they wear makeup? Do they have a skincare routine? What traits do they like most about their face?

She quite likes her face, its why she adorns it with lipstick and eyeliner, it accentuates her features. Her only skincare routine would be a facemask and a mister before moisturizer.

She likes her lips and nose the most.

🍎 (apple) - Does your oc go to school or take classes? Did they go to college? What was/is their favorite subject? Did/do they get good grades? Did/do they enjoy school?

All the sciences, that her favourite subject. But she took most interest in biology and anatomy because she wanted to be a doctor. She studied hard since the start and was always the top of her class in most subjects.

She went med school, completed her residency at a neighbouring cavern, completed her specialty residency and did an internship at the Slugterran Institute of Technology for a period of over 6 months.

🐞 (ladybug) - What does a perfect day look like for your oc? What do they do? Who do they see?

A perfect day for the doctor is when she has no patients for the day and instead gets gifts all the workers drop off at her office. She calls it a perfect day when Twist brings her a coffee uwu

It's the simple things that make her day perfect, they have to be...

☎️ (telephone) - Does your character know anyone’s phone number by heart? Do they prefer calling or texting? Who’s their favorite person to call/text? Do they have any typing quirks?

Funnily enough she doesn't, she had people put their phone numbers on her phone and never wrote them down anywhere else, she took it for granted so when her phone was taken away, she lost everything.

She currently has a pager with the all the Blakk Industries user contacts but no phone numbers. She enjoys texting and likes to format her texts a lot. When she texts her special someone, she always ends her first and last message with a heart.

🥊 (boxing glove) - Has your character ever been in a fight? Did they win? Do they fight often? Are they professionally trained or self taught? Do they enjoy fighting or only do so when necessary?

Saverina is not a fighter as in combat whatsoever. She does have a blaster but rarely if ever uses it, she carries it outside with her just in case but mostly leaves it attached to her mecha instead of herself. Her slugs aren't meant for combat anyways, she has them for medical purposes, each one has a role.

She does know how to give quite a HELL of a slap tho, this woman puts her whole shoulder into it and strikes with the palm, not the fingers. She may have had to use it, once. Whoever was bothering was knocked out by the sheer force of it and her elbow was sore for a few days after that hehe

🧣(scarf) - What comforts your oc? Is it an item? An action? A person? Whatever it is, how any why does it comfort them?

Medic and the rest of her slugs a comfort to her, they're her lil pets and buddies. They're very fond of her and since she takes such good care of them, they make sure she's taken care of as well :3

A great comfort to her is also Desmond (@reydoll), he is the breath of fresh air she needs and always finds herself relaxed when he's around. What a good charming friend he is >wo

👠 (heels) - How does your oc dress? Are they stylish or casual? Do they keep up with trends or do their own thing? Do they prefer designer clothes or going to the thrift store? Do they have a signature item of clothing?

You will find Dr. Saverina in her lab coat like 90% of the time. It's not often that she takes it off, but sometimes you will find her without it when she's in her office, its usually neatly placed on a coat rack, ready to be grabbed when needed.

Outside of her lab coat though, Saverina likes to dress quite nicely and enjoys wearing jewelry, you could definitely call her stylish. She actually buys her clothes from an affordable outfit, and individually, the clothes are quite simple, but she knows how to style it.

She quite likes turtlenecks.

🍄 (mushroom) - Does your character like being in nature or do they prefer the indoors? Do they have any outdoor hobbies like camping or fishing? If they prefer the indoors, why?

Saverina enjoys the indoors, she has to because as a surgeon, she is inside quite a lot. Work takes so much of her time and rarely does it ever lead her outside, that's not to say she doesn't enjoy the outdoors. She'd be one to keep a flower garden and keep a tidy yard.

But ever since she became an unwilling Blakk Industries employee, she longs to go outside and would absolutely want to camp out in the fresh air because she is so fed up with being cooped up in the Citadel.

Someone qualified please chaperon her and take her for a nice walk among nature, she'd be forever thankful.

🩸 (blood) - Is your oc squeamish? Are they disturbed by the sight of blood? Have they ever been in a situation where they had to overcome being squeamish?

Saverina is a surgeon, she LIVES to see blood spill out of her patients. She's not at all squeamish and not phased whatsoever.

What she doesn't like is snot, that grosses her out but deals with it when need be. She simply makes a face, flicks her hand and continues on.

✂️ (scissors) - Has your character ever cut their own hair? What about someone else’s? How did it turn out?

Saverina's current short hair was cut by herself actually. She cut it short when she arrived to Blakk Industries, to leave her previous life behind and start over, to go in with a specific mentality: "Survive and Endure." Her short hair reflects that.

She occasionally cuts Twist's hair when he needs a trim.

🎸 (electric guitar) - What’s your character’s music taste like? Do they have one or two artists they play on repeat or do they have a varied and eclectic collection of music? Do they like mainstream artists or prefer underground musicians? What genres do they enjoy?

Dr. Saverina puts music on during surgery, mostly classical music but also electronic music as well, it helps her focus.

She quite enjoys underground musicians, she would enjoy searching for these not well known artists as she respects their individuality and wishes them the most success in their endeavors.

The genres she enjoys are: Classical | Electronic | Opera | Trad. Folk

🎒 (backpack) - What items does your oc usually carry? Do they have a bag or just keep everything in their pockets? Do they carry a lot or a little?

She doesn't carry much but her slug Medic, her pager, a pen and notepad, and some candies to much on throughout the day, Everything she needs is in her infirmary.

Her slugs are kept in her office as they have their own play area where they can nap, eat and drink whenever they want. She doesn't carry them with her because it's too much bulk. So she simply goes to retrieve them when they are needed.

🪓 (axe) - Does your oc have survival skills? Have they ever had to use them? What would they do in an apocalypse? Could they survive?

Saverina could very well survive on her own. She has basic knowledge of survival but has books on the subject. In the event of an apocaypse, she'd take those books with her and use them as reference as she nagivates her new world.

As a medic, she is quite invaluable and an incredible asset to any team.

Dr. Saverina Amelie Kallas absolutely survives the apocalypse.

Ooohhhhh here we have the DORA THE EXPOLRER’s of the zodiac 😂!!!!Sagittarius is like Aries an overly fiery, direct and fun sign. These ppl are really cool too hang around. I feel like bc Sagittarius is a mutable sign they have the ability to give u different sides of themselves that are so surprising and exciting 😊. Sagittarius individuals don’t take life for granted, they life in the moment babyyyyyy , no time to be sad , no time to be bitching about the smallest things , let’s go out and do a road trip on a hot summer day and camp outside in the wildnesssszzzz 🦨 🤠; like they don’t give a fuck about the mundane typical life, experimenting , learning, traveling are things they really enjoy and need to feel alive. bc these ppl get bored so easily!! So where to start but with the fact that u guys don’t play around generally in life. They are ultimately the opposite of Sagittarius. No time to play, fight and argue ppl bc we gotta go and work !!!. They are Sooooo sarcastic honestly every joke they make is involved with some sadness , self pity, and facts that are overcompensate with fun Humore 🙂. As for your question: Personally, I adore the Autistic!Donnie Headcanon and write him autistic in all my stories, intentional or not! Parallel play is definitely something they both just clicked on without having to say a word throughout the entirety of their relationship.

In our fics, Jason grew up in a household that disregarded his existence in nearly every sense of the word. So, after they get along and spend most of their time together? Jason enjoys it when they're doing their own things, sharing space since it's so similar to what he's used to while also being everything he's never given freely. Jason's used to blending into the background and not disturbing those around him. But with Donnie, he actually gets to share the space, to co-exist with him without fear that he's being too much or doing too little. There's no need to overanalyze and second-guess things.

Donnie's family has definitely existed in spaces together, especially when Donnie is working. But there's a significant difference between your siblings trying to help out, asking what you're doing, and getting you to build something for them, and when a kid simply blends into the space like nothing has changed. It's not like his family is constantly obnoxious, but brothers can sometimes be like that. Plus, Jason's smart, he shares the same level of knowledge with Donnie even if it isn't in the same subjects or skills, but he still blends in with Donnie's world instead of sticking out against it like his family does, if that makes sense?

It's like a mix of comforts and mutual unsaid understandings between them. They know how this shared space goes, and they both enjoy how the other exists naturally, so it's like a safe little bubble that they can get wrapped up in sometimes.

I would probably have more Jason and Autistic!Donnie Headcanons to share, but honestly, most of my Autistic!Donnie Headcanons are for my other fic series, and I have yet to think about these boys through that lens in a hot minute! (Any Autistic!Donnie-related Jasonnie ideas that are floating in my head are from the amazing people on the Jasonnie Discord Server and not my own.)

But a scene I think about a lot is Donnie and Jason cooking together. The two of them bond over their Asian Cultures, sharing their foods with each other, especially modified ones, to ensure the taste and texture doesn't disturb or overstimulate Donnie.

Also! Jason knowing his meltdown routine after a year of them being together is definitely something that delights me to no end. Knowing that when you're in that place and know you have someone you can trust to know exactly what you need and always try and follow that for you no matter how worried or hurt they may be in that moment? Because your health comes first, and they understand that? That everything that may have happened before can always be dealt with later? Fucking masterful; it means everything to me.

i am so glad it's finally been said out loud. And that it was Mor who said it because immediately I understood how she was feeling about the entire situation, which made me feel better about her being an asshat at the end of the last chapter. It's strangely therapeutic. As soon as Mor tells Az to shut up though, I couldn't help but start crying a little bit because you really perfected how I thought Mor would've perceived reader going to Eris-

“She could have come to any of us. It’s more than we ever had, and yet she ignored it. Then tries to pretend it away? I’m not immune to that. If she can’t even be bothered to care about my pain why should I give a damn about hers?”

-this line in particular ruined me (not to be too personal n emotional lol), as someone who grew up in a not so great home i can really empathize with Mor here. It's not healthy behavior but I can say that there have been times where I've resented the people in my life who didn't accept help after i had been desperate for it for years. I'm more emotionally aware now and have unpacked those resentments (THANK GOD), but it was such a visceral response to reading that line because it mirrored unhealed me.

The next scene with madja was the perfect balance to mor and azriel's...argument? discussion? idk. You really guide us well through the world which is something I really admire in your writing, it flows very naturally and it always feels like a very natural progression of events. (its just something i've noticed i struggle with in my own wips lol).

compliments aside, it was also really sweet to see reader's peace in this chapter. Madja herself being a very peaceful motherly figure for reader who we know desperately needs that kind of care right now, her sisters are doing great right now but she needs someone who's not family to prove that they do care about her and it will not change over a few mistakes. Which is something that Cassian embodies very well later in the chapter too.

Bas.... sweet guy :( i hope reader gives him the truth. Imo, i think he deserves at least a bit of the truth when she is in a better place to give it (she fr could've said she was at a friend's in autumn. bas doesn't need to know WHO). But Bas held up his own boundaries very well with reader as well and I'm glad that we got a little of his feelings on the situation as well as reader acknowledging she hasn't been a great friend recently. (it's valid tho she's been goin THROUGH IT)

Tabbatha... you keep saying you don't know how to portray cassian but i personally think you do him such a great service ESPECIALLY after some instances of cass's behavior towards nesta's struggles in her own healing journey. I really feel like he actually cares about reader herself compared to rhys who cared about feyre and her only. He makes an effort to get her to relax, which is something acomaf cass would've done and is the version of him i miss the most. And him calling reader out for keeping things to herself? I personally think she needs to be called out and take accountability for her own role in the healing process. He was the perfect person to push her in this scene.

The dinner scene also really resonated with me and my own childhood. As a kid growing up we NEVER ate dinner together, so reader's apprehension to going to dinner is so real, and Mor sitting across from her?

If I’m honest with you, I wanted Mor to tear into Az a little more than she did? For her to fairly obviously and kind of viciously defend reader but I felt it would be weird for her to go that far, considering Mor is supposed to be feeling very betrayed and hurt by reader? I did have fun with writing Mor telling Az to shut up though 🫣 I even nearly italicised it 🫢😳

Oh I really liked writing the Madja scene!! I mean, kind of scary obviously, but I enjoy her character and it’s so nice getting to write someone being kind to reader? 😭 Particularly since a fair amount of scenes in cbmthy aren’t particularly lighthearted/high-spirited? I’m hoping to continue dropping scenes with Madja in here and there since it would be weird if reader’s checkups suddenly stopped out of nowhere? Also so she has someone to keep an eye on her who might know a little more about what’s going on with her physically and mentally from experience and studying other people/medicine?

I don’t know if that’ll work for other people, but it’s something I fall back on quite regularly so it might help you too? 🫂🧡💛

I’m so glad you feel Cassian read that way!! 😭 I’m kind of of the mind that Nesta’s still protective over her sisters and so that might occasionally stretch across to Cassian at times? Also I just feel like Cassian genuinely cares about people in a more (this might sound strange) innocent way? Like more carefully and tenderly?

I would have loved to write Cassian and reader as being good friends but because Cassian’s friends with Feyre I think reader would still always feel in second place and unfortunately it might hinder her more than help 😭

saw lee insu in seoul. they were counting money then blacked out. i think they’re a/n youth outreach coordinator now? a lot of people say they’re kinda impatient but they seemed super efficient to me, tbh. they really look like kim taehyung and remind me of itachi uchiha though wtf. thought you might want to know because i remember your post about them that said he bullied other students into submission, some even having committed suicide or falling into drug addiction but of course, his parents paid for his freedom. still can’t believe that came out 8 years ago.

insu was raised with a lot of neglect since he was young 

his mother being the only person who showed him any ounce of affection that she could spare him with her busy work life

his father was abusive and would always put his political campaigns above everything else, even his own wife and kids

insu began to spiral with the lack of guidance in his life, bullying became a hobby and he did it with a burning passion and did it well

his parents finding out about his ‘extra curricular’ activities in tormenting other students and pay to have his slate cleaned

he also gets into an arranged marriage cause why not, might as well try to clean up this atrocity by slapping it with a big ol’ bandaid, having a nice wife always does the trick

his mother falls victim to dementia shortly after, and he finds out that his father has been cheating on her the entire time with their campaign manager and actively threatens to remove insu off of the will if he acts up or exposes him - to which he obediently, though, hatefully accepts instructions

now, he’s trying to clean up his act because his mother no longer can do that for him and he’s also trying to figure out how to one up his own father

side note: i compared insu to itachi for fun and now idk how to explain myself, i guess he’ll massacre his entire fam to protect his currently nonexistent brother (??) who knows 🤡 also if someone can explain to me how the hell to use this new version of tumblr??? that would be great cause wtf omggggggg
