Greg Jenner, a historian and adviser for Horrible Histories, has a very good podcast titled ‘you’re dead to me’ for all you history geeks out there. I’ve recently found out that he has another project which is called Homeschool History with shorter episodes you can use in class. Ideal for my CLIL History lessons. Check out the full playlist here.

After about five years of blogging, I’ve jumped into the unknown and started to work as a halftime freelancer next to my job as a teacher. My goal is to work together with people who want support in educational projects for teenagers. Check out my (Dutch) website here!

Love these videos by Man At Arms when they create historical weapons. Interesting to see what kind of effort goes into artifacts like these. In this video they create a Macuahuitl, an Aztec weapon.

Looking forward to the series Barbarians on Netflix so I can use it in my CLIL history classes. Fingers crossed for historical correctness.
