Why do you think there are not many new faces in film/Tv anymore it seems like there is a common list of actors always used for the main stream stories. Do you agree with this? And do you have any thoughts on why this always happens. Like I’m sure auditioning happens still but I wonder if there’s always a select group of actors they choose from. Like I feel like I always see Timothy/ Jacob/ Zendaya etc

Mm, I mean, I kind of disagree with your proposition, anon? I think we're in a huge state of flux right now with mainstream stars with actors like Jenna Ortega, Ayo Edebiri, Cailee Spainey, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Margaret Qualley, Glenn Powell and even Jacob Elordi (who actually is still pretty new star-wise) all on the pretty dramatic rise.

That said, yes, name recognition has always mattered when it comes to films regardless of how mainstream they are. It's actually more about production and distribution than it is about anything else. Investors want a return on their investment when financing films, which means they want stars with proven box office draw, and distributors rely on name stars to sell a film to the market. It's not a perfect system by any stretch of the imagination, but it's basically the way it's always been within the studio system (although I do think it's worse now).

Name actors are still the way most films get bankrolled because they ultimately are the public face of it, for better and for worse.

The problem with writing dialogue of a toddler is that they don't always speak full sentences because... they're toddlers. But then it's so annoying when the document is like "uh... that's not grammatically correct"

Yes google docs I am AWARE the grammatically correct sentences are "We got to go to the daycare" and "I want to go to daycare" but she is 2.

no but really, I think it fits him really well! I had thought his UM would probably involve something kinda sleight-of-handy or pickpockety! and I looooved that it made such a nice loop-around back to episode 1. ❤️ I was. kind of half-expecting him to just run out and punch Riddle in the nose again. but instead this time 'twas he who offed the queen's head! it was great! and he did it while stone-cold terrified out of his mind! because Ace is the only remotely normal or well-adjusted person at NRC and therefore the only one who is like "we're going to literally die, this is super effed up". but he did it anyway!!!! I’m currently thinking about an AU where the Justice League confuse Danny for Jason.

Like, they know Batman’s second Robin met an unfortunate end, & now his newest partner is the ghost of an upbeat, scrawny, teenage boy.

Excuse them, for thinking the ghost being Batman’s dead son was more believable then Batman somehow having picked up not just another stray, but a dead one. How did he even do that?

Bonus points if Jason is very much so resurrected already, but none of the bats told the justice league because apparently Gotham’s newest crime lord, who’s 6’ whatever & built like a brick shithouse, isn’t obviously the same malnourished little kid that used to say “Robin gives me magic!” & literally died. Who knew?

the goal is 10k, but vehicles like this sell for much cheaper! as soon as i can, i'll purchase a suitable vehicle and start the project immediately. i'll use whatever i don't spend buying the vehicle for maintenence it might need, the tools and materials i'll need to convert it, plus the legal stuff surrounding registration, first year of insurance, etc. anything still left after that will be used to just allow me to live longer and have a safety net while i get income.

this is something i've been dreaming of for a long time, and as the housing market gets crazier i've realized it's probably the only way i'll have a stable home. i've been researching this project for years and i'll have some helping hands, so your money will be used well to create a home for me.
