I have a real problem with people pretending like saying something that upsets a lot of people and having to deal with the consequences of all of those people being upset with you being equated with people ganging up to bully you. Most people are not creating a collective to push you off of this site, you just upset a lot of people and everyone wants to say what's on their mind. They aren't checking with others to make sure that others agree with their disagreement most of the time, they are just disagreeing with you. No call to action was ever made.

I've seen this when radfems are homophobic, and every lesbian wants to say her mind and then y'all claim it's actually bullying because, from what it seems like from y'all, we should have gathered together and had just a few people say they were upset as spokespersons for us. I've seen it with other situations too ofc, but that's a prominent example.

Like if someone's making a call out for post for you to gather people to be mad at you, sure, they are conspiring to bully you off this site. However, if you just state your opinion and a lot of people dislike your opinion and are vocal about it, that's not a collective bullying that's just having an unpopular opinion. Which is not the same. One of those is a targeted call to action, the others is just the natural consequence of interacting with people with different perspectives and opinions than you. If you decide that you can't deal with the accountability of voicing an opinion that nobody liked, stop sharing your opinions. Or consider growing the fuck up. It's not bullying to disagree with you, even if everyone in the room disagrees with you.

dungeon meshi fandom rant

i usually stay away from fictional autism headcanons or indulging in them wholesale because i'm more on the 'characters are constructs' side of things. some may exhibit traits we relate to but placing real-world diagnostic labels on walking metaphors makes things too nebulous. however laios touden is an exception to me since autism allegories (despite no authorial intent) are pretty hard-wired into both his arc and dungeon meshi's core themes about being an outsider. so for once the fandom autism memes feel genuine to me lol. it doesn't feel as fanon-heavy or platitudinous, actually it's pretty uplifting. i appreciate the positivity.

that being said the most dogshit dunmesh take i've seen lately is the assertion that laios and falin show us autistic men are villified for things autistic women are accepted for. the fuck are you people smoking? some rebranded MRA-pilled bullshit? log off tumblr and go outside, then point and show me where this is the truth. i don't know if you guys are all living in a feminist utopia that i'm not privy too, but if so send me the address because things couldn't be less like that everywhere i've ever been.

and critically, falin is pretty. she's conventionally pure, self-sacrificial, beautiful with hollywood curves, soft-spoken, and never questions anyone nor asserts herself over others when her needs aren't being met. her dislikes in the adventurer's bible are 'nothing in particular', she never spoke out against her village's bullying even when she had it worse than laios, quickly forgives her parents for exiling her, and never shows any opinion on marcille's use of dark magic. she's a paragon of femininity. anything less than that, and she would probably invoke similar if not more disgust from her peers than laios through the audacity of not conforming to gender expectations. but she likes holding bugs or whatever so...whoa! she's so feral and subversive amiright guys. but crucially she looks cute while doing it so we're not too uncomfortable to stan.

i love laios so much, he's in my newest blorbo collection for sure but calling the female characters who don't like him judgemental is not a good look. we as the readers who have been inside the main chara's head know he's a good guy - but in the context of dungeon meshi's world, where sexism is as prevalent as stranger danger, it's fair for them to assume bad intent and keep their distance. they're looking out for their own safety and you're mad about that because, what, it makes your 2D nigel sad? cry about it.

so quit using anime characters as fodder for your thinly-veiled 'everyday men milk themselves' preaches. the touden siblings are not a good example of this. if you unironically agree with that take: it's time to go talk to some real women broski.

Anti-censorship but we still don’t want to platform bigots 🫤 Coming from a neutral party, I think you could learn a lot from listening to all perspectives to avoid echo chambers. Form your own opinion instead of following a crowd. My opinion? Hate the person, not the ship. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but that is what the book cover is made for. I think it’s healthier if you and everyone else stopped trying to be antagonistic? How are you supposed to spread positivity if you’re always on the verge of angry ranting?

Okay I'm going to try and answer for the sake of the people who might read this kind of bs in their inboxes and be affected negatively by it, and maybe even feel like they're being unfair towards the very bullies which spend their energies harassing and insulting (and sometimes also doxxing and suicide bating) us.

Let's break this down.

1. "freedom of speech but not freedom from consequences" I can't even talk about some dark themes in fiction or my own personal history of real life abuse without getting termed here. Erotic art can't be posted almost anywhere at this point, and not just the kind antis dislike. Freedom is a construct on social media because ultimately these spaces are owned by someone, and you'll be kicked out if they don't like you.

2 "we don't want to platform bigots" no, absolutely we don't. Historically, giving a platform to bigots and hatemongers fosters hate, violence and censorship. Also I have no power to platform or deplatform anyone, I'm just a guy on tumblr, so I don't even know what you're on about with this. If I had the power to decide, trust me that I would kick the terfs the fuck out of here anyways. And also the cowards who hide under the anon cover to send hate and threats.

3 "listen to perspectives and avoid echo chambers" I'm over 30 and I've been a kinkster for most of my life. I'm queer. Among other things, history and queer history are in my field of studies. I didn't form my opinion here, I came here with one already. I listened to all the perspectives you might think of also because I was here when the rise of censorship and puritanism happened, and by the way you know who got deplatformed? The kinkster and the artists, surely not the bigots. I don't think I've ever seen an instance of an anti being blocked or termed for harassment, whereas blogs get blocked every day for having NSFW content.

ok AVoS done. Shattered Sky is a book I remember being legitimately really into, but yeah, as is common opinion, the last three books really drop off and severely blur together (and boy Briarlight’s death was upsettingly pointless) BUT w/e I’m just listening to the audio books on hyper speed while playing pokemon so it’s not that bad

but i gotta say, actually first hand watching all the skyclan stuff go down is just making me feel even more vindicated in my old posts ranting about how much i dislike SkyClan coming to the lakes (and in my decision to just have them reject starclan and go live in the mountains in my fic lmao). Like i guess I’m supposed to disagree with Leafstar but she’s literally just right in her initial arguments, they have little to nothing to gain by staying there.  Or Rather, whatever benefits you might occasionally get from your neighbors helping during rare catastrophes (benefits most rival leaders would probably make you 'owe' them for later) do NOT outweigh the constant aggression from living border to border with those clowns. Especially when its a given that the clans will never help each other with more common life threatening problems like they wont share prey during famines and its often pulling teeth to share herbs. Leafstar was literally just right!! They simply had unfortunate timing. The main argument for returning is essentially just...Well god threatened to kill us if we went against their wishes so. that's super normal 😂

I love StarClan "we cant be clear or offer help because then we'd be taking away the clans independance!!" and also "what do you mean you're making an independent decision about where you want to live, i s2g we will harass every cat in earshot and threaten to drown you if you dont listen to us" (ok its unclear if starclan actually caused that storm, i think they have shown to have some influence over weather before and its timing was very precise, but if not they still forsaw it and used it to their advantage to make the living cats think they were being punished for disobeying starclans baseless wishes, so same difference imo. we love the cat cults)

recently I read through Shadowstar’s Life and was really surprised to see that apparently SkyClan’s old territory was already being marked for destruction by twolegs during Skystar’s time?? I know the clans all have to go through at least one or two whole other leaders to get to the ones in control when SkyClan was driven out, but...idk clearly it didn’t take that long. Leader’s can die fast. Which may imply SkyClan was literally apart from the other clans for far far longer then they were ever beside them. For like 80% of the clans total existence, SkyClan hasn’t been there. 

Anyway, i'm just saying, at least twice now skyclan leaders have strongly felt that they would be better off maintaining their home in the gorge only to be bullied into going back to the other clans (Leafstar for one, and also in a prologue scene I believe Cloudstar and his medicine cat were watching SkyClan and suggested they should go home to the gorge now that it was safe, then CLEAR SKY pressured them into reluctantly agreeing that they had to go to the lake with the other clans, and...y’know he’s their founder, its hard to argue with him. He didn’t counter their arguments, just gave them the "they MUST be together!!" line)

You know what, I think SkyClan is just Clear Sky’s vanity project and he’s kicking up a massive tantrum about it in StarClan. It's hard to feel special when you dont have other clans to compare yourself to, so he's continuing his life long tradition of putting his insecurity and ideals over the actual wellbeing of his clan, and u know what at least no one can fault him for consistency. So being a bunch of cats that haven’t gotten any wiser since dying (as is StarClan tradition), Gray Wing pressures everyone into feeling bad for his brother, and they cave because 1: Clear Sky is just so annoying that it's easier to repeatedly pacify him rather then tell him to shut up, and 2: the entire cast of Dawn of the Clans collectively have the moral back bone of a chocolate éclair. I want to throw my hat in the ring of this whole reddit thread thing because I've been keeping my eye on the posts from the past few days. (I don't have reddit, I prefer to stay away from that site.)

I'm so,, baffled over this unpopular opinion thread and how people are using it to criticize the hermits, as if they have any justification to do so. Of course it's okay to give them constructive criticism but the content I've seen isn't even that type of criticism, most of it should be flagged as straight up hate comments.

The ones about Grian being a bully or the ones that claim some hermits dislike the others are so, so unnecessary. These are the ones who need to realize that this is just the other side of the coin of what is essentially a parasocial relationship. They don't know the hermits or what they think, it's just plain odd. It's just seems like they are just shoving their own feelings and opinions into the hermits.

My logic is if a thread is causing more harm then good, then it should be taken down- (scar even agrees to a certain extent guys like c'mon). If people truly believe it would be taken down because hermits "can't handle criticism" then that's on them. It was all unwarranted.

I agree so much, especially with you middle paragraph about people not knowing the hermits. That's something I noticed but didn't mention in my post before, but the comment that kicked off the chain of Grian-bashing specifically said that they got the impression that many of the hermits didn't like Grian.

Firstly, i have no idea where they got that since I've only heard people say nice things about working with him. Secondly, whether they realized Grian might read the thread or not, I think it's extremely insidious to try and plant the idea in someone's head that their friends secretly hate them. I know he has anxiety. I also know from personal experience that most people on earth probably "oh my god what if everyone secretly hates me" like once a month a minimum. You should, full stop, just not say those things since they can be very damaging. It was just so so speculative and out of line, in my opinion. They're just making up interpretations that don't exist. The mod's justification is that these comments were providing explanations for their thoughts and brought a new perspective. They also said that the comments were in the realm of "welcoming and friendly."

.....um, yeah, I don't think that saying a hermit is a controlling narcissist who abuses his power over people, a bully, and that some of his friends secretly dislike him is "welcoming and friendly." Or constructive. Or going to help in any way whatsoever. We know that at least Scar disliked the thread and said it wasn't helpful, and I suspect Xisuma is the one who originally wrote the comment about how hurtful it was even if he later conceded to unlocking the thread.

There's a way to deliver criticism in a way that's constructive, and this wasn't it. The mod does also write this comment, though: "We are all guests in the Hermits' home here. This is a subdivision of private enterprise and free speech is not a given. If you want fair discussion, do so in an unmoderated environment where you're not harming the people whose work you claim to enjoy."

and, I agree. If you want to post unfiltered criticism, you should do so in an unmodded environment where the hermits don't have to see it. Xisuma and Joe are the head mods of the subreddit. The way reddit works, someone could literally create their own hermitcraft subreddit and mod it any way they like if they don't enjoy the rules of the current one (see: the creation of r/dreamwastaken2 after some people wanted better discussion of discourse than on the original sub)

The Akatsuki members as high-school students

Has this been done before? Probably! Do I care? No, because these are my terrible headcanons and nobody can take them from me.

A/N: This has been in my drafts for a long time, probably since early February. I’ve been lacking motivation to do anything at all for months and lo and behold, I find this basically finished piece bar one character. I really, really want to start writing again but I’m struggling to think of ideas, so if you have any requests for future headcanons/one shots/etc feel free to slide me a message or something :)

He's definitely the generic super intelligent kid who gets straight A's in pretty much every subject. All of his notes are really well organised, he keeps bullet journals and everything is colour coded - mans notes are literal art. His handwriting is definitely beautiful, we're talking professional calligrapher here.

All of his equipment is immaculate, he cries if one of his books gets a crease or something on it somehow. If you accidentally nudge him or ruin his notes he will silently hold a grudge against you forever - he probably won't act on his grudge though, he just wants to blend in and he dislikes conflict in general.

Despite being fully aware of his intelligence he hardly ever speaks up in classes. He only really speaks when spoken to and so is renown as the token quiet kid. I also envision him as being super pretentious, although he doesn't show it he definitely thinks he's better than everyone else.

His favourite subject would be English because he enjoys analysing anything and everything. If you're friends with him he will make comments on how random pieces of media etc. are a representation of -insert important world issue or theory.- He'd also like art despite it being the only subject he's not very good at. All his art is abstract, he will draw a pink square and claim it represents a patriarchal society.

Doesn't have many friends because he isn't very talkative, spends most of his time at school alone doing schoolwork. Sees school purely as an educational setting and so doesn't see the point in making an attempt to be social.

All of his school equipment looks like it's been mauled by 300 dogs because its all second/third/fourth+ hand. Man would never pay full price for a textbook. He definitely steals all the faculty equipment too. You could fill an entire room with the amount of stationary this man has but he will NEVER lend it to anyone else. If he does lend you something it's because its either A) broken B) barely functional (so like pens which can write 2 letters before running out) or C) you're giving him something better in return/paying for it (even then he'll probably take whatever he lent you back without you realising)

He also definitely runs mini-shops in school where he'll sell stolen equipment and things like sweets/chewing gum/trendy items (he made bank when fidget spinners were a thing) for like triple what they're actually worth.

His favourite subject is definitely history (He's a crusty dusty old man so of course) but he will never admit this. He takes business and economics but hates them, he's already done all of his own research into the subjects and is only doing them to get the qualification. Definitely complains about how he already knows it all already and it's a waste of time for him to learn it again. His only conversation topic is him talking about how he's going to set up his own business as soon as he leaves school.

Is very intelligent but only gets average grades in most subjects because he refuses to try if he dislikes the subject or sees it as a waste of time.

Watched DeathNote once and now thinks he's an actual real life version of Light Yagame. Carries around his own DeathNote and threatens to write people's name in it.

Convinced that he's been bestowed with supernatural powers, whenever he speaks he does lots of flashy hand gestures, - think generic cool-dude protagonist poses - these change depending on what piece of media he's currently obsessed with. His personality also changes alongside the poses.

Basically what I'm trying to say is he's the over-saturated 'weird anime kid' with a touch of superiority complex. Although, he's super confident and has absolutely 0 shame in this fact.

Bless his little heart, he loves writing but is the definition of 'uses complicated words without knowing what they mean'. He's still decently smart though. His grades would probably be pretty average because he struggles to apply himself properly. His favourite subject would definitely be something like sociology where he can freely express his profound ideas, even if some of them are completely god awful. He'd also enjoy any subject which gives him creative freedom such as art or English.

Cannot see this lad as anything but a jock. He loves sports, lives and breathes them. He's probably a member of practically every single sports team and is surviving on the basis he has a sports scholarship of some kind.

Despite him being a jock he'd be the most approachable out of all the Akatsuki members. He's the kind of guy who no matter who you are he'd always be happy to crack jokes and talk with you. He definitely brings in way too much food, he's that dude who brings a whole mini banquet to school every day for no discernible reason. He's always happy to share though, he's definitely the kind of guy who if he saw someone sat by themselves at lunch he'd sit with them and offer them food.

His grades would be a little on the lower side because most of his free time is taken up with all his sports, however, he'd still work hard at his academics regardless. If anything this man is probably the most dedicated, he would hate the fact that he's falling behind all his classmates but at the same time would rather die than give up any of his extracurricular activities.

He'd be fairly popular because of his naturally easygoing and humorous nature, but people would rarely ever invite him to events as they'd just assume he was busy.

Konan is an absolute babe, the kindest and most caring person in the whole school. Forgotten your lunch? She'll buy you some or give you her own. Didn't do your homework? Bitch will give you hers to copy, if it's an essay or something she'll sit with you and help you write it. Looking a little upset? Konan's right there to try and cheer you up even if you aren't friends.

Despite how wonderful and 100/10 a person she is she probably won't have many close friends. She'll get used a lot by others who take advantage of her good nature. She's smart enough to know what they're doing but she doesn't care, she's happy to be of help to anyone even if they don't appreciate it.

She's a bit of a teachers pet though, she's on super good terms with every teacher in the school even if she doesn't take the subjects they teach. Most of her breaks/lunches would be taken up by her helping with display boards or whatever.

Her favourite subject would be geography, she'd really enjoy learning about different cultures and societies. I can see her just really enjoying learning about how rivers are formed and stuff like that as well. Her least favourite would be something like math which is only fact based, she enjoys being able to look at things from different perspectives.

Also bitch would bake all the time, literally every lesson she'd whip out a box of cakes/cookies/anything else she'd baked the night before to share with the whole class.

Carries knives around with him because he thinks they make him look cool. He can and will whip one out at any given opportunity so he can flex a knife trick on you. His knife tricks suck though, he always drops them or cuts himself, if you try and walk away he'll beg you to stay claiming that fortieth time's the charm or something.

He never shows up to lessons, he doesn't even know what one is. If you ever ask him what subjects he takes he'll look at you blankly and ask what you mean. If he ever is in a lesson it's because he was dragged there by a member of staff. Honestly, the few lessons he's actually present for are so chaotic teachers find themselves praying he doesn't show up. Being as he never willingly shows up he'll never know what subject it is, and he'll ask insanely bizarre questions un-ironically because he gives no fucks and has no idea what is happening. For example, you'll be learning about arteries in biology and he'll ask something like "What ingredients do we need?" because he'll have confused arteries with artichoke and think he's in a home economics lesson.

Despite being the weird knife kid he's pretty popular, he's so completely brain dead and unaware of his surroundings that its impossible not to get along with him. He doesn't have the critical thought to bully anyone and so even if he tries to be horrible it always comes off as though he's just trying to be funny.

Oh dear oh lord what can I say about Zetsu? Zetsu is an absolute shit show of a student. Black Zetsu I can see as being very academic focussed, with their favourite subjects being religion, politics and some form of economics. I imagine they’d be very active within school politics/religious scenes, probably the head of some sort of group for both.

Black Zetsu would also be interested in applying for positions such as Head of Year, Class Representative and anything similar. They’re a big control freak and as a result have basically 0 friends. People would find them overbearing and awful to be around. They’re the incredibly opinionated kid who dismisses anything which they don’t personally agree with.

White Zetsu on the over hand, hoo boy. Class clown obviously. The living bane of Black Zetsu. If Black Zetsu wants class representative then you know people will vote for white Zetsu instead because he’s infinitely more popular. He’s incredibly weird but in such an innocent and goofy way they’d have a large group of friends. They wouldn’t be popular per say, but they’d be friends with practically everyone.

Their favourite subject would probably be biology because sex jokes, but I also think they’d enjoy English because uhh… Sex jokes. I just can’t see White Zetsu taking school even slightly seriously.

He basically lives in the art department. If you walk near him he will tag along and start talking to you about art, it doesn’t matter who you are you will be forced to listen to his speech.

Incredibly confident and has no issue starting a conversation with anyone. He's definitely the type of person who every time you see him he'd be with a completely different group of people, whether they want him there or not.

Despite his weird constant art rants he'd be the life and soul of the party. He's always fun to be around purely because of how much energy he has. He'd be the kid who makes everyone laugh completely on accident, although people would probably be laughing more at him than with him.

He'd probably get invited to lots of places by other kids just so he could be the butt of every joke. He wouldn't mind though, he'd brush it off and probably enjoy the attention he gets from it.

Most of his friends would end up being people who know nothing about art though, all the students who participated in any artistic subjects would stay far away in fear of him starting another argument about art.

If the art class ever does clay his has to be put in the kiln separately because it always blows up. He also has a habit of 'accidentally' damaging other people's art if he dislikes it. Eventually he would mellow out and start appreciating other forms.

Nobody knows who he is, people will have sat next to him for years and won't even know his name. The amount of times his name is called in the register and people will pipe up with "who's that?" or "didn't he move to another school?" is genuinely concerning. He doesn't care though, he'd rather go through school completely unnoticed.

Excels at all subjects (besides sports, he's never showed up to a PE lesson because of 'health reasons') despite putting very little effort into academics. His favourite subjects would be biology and math. He'd absolutely hate art as a subject, preferring to do art in his free time rather than make it into a chore at school. He'd have been put in Deidara's class at least once and it would have completely ruined all enjoyment of art as a subject for him. He'd also hate any subjects which prompt discussion such as English or sociology, he doesn't have any opinions on them and he doesn't care to listen to anyone else's.

Honestly, dude is the definition of a background character at school. He just simply does not exist, and I have mad respect for him. On the off chance anyone even tried to speak to him he'd probably completely ignore them, the only communication he has at school is through emails with teachers. He has 0 interest in making friends when they have nothing in common with him.

Another character sort of hard to pinpoint. He’d probably be somewhat similar to White Zetsu, but not quite as popular. He’d be a right teachers pet, with few friends his own age. He’d probably spend spend all his breaks and lunches with teachers in their classrooms, offering to help them with display boards etc.

Despite being a teachers pet he wouldn’t be academic whatsoever. He’d always try his best but bless him, he’s terrible at every subject and ends up constantly making a fool of himself. He’s definitely the sort to raise his hand to make a really great point, but his really great point is basically repeating the lesson objective. When studying of mice of men he definitely asked “what’s the name of Curly’s wife’s husband?”

His favourite subject, regardless of his ineptitude would be drama. He’d always be the most melodramatic and over the top in every character he played, not really caring what other people thought of him. In fact, that’s probably his best feature. Despite his lack of popularity he’d always unapologetically be himself, his goofy and over the top self.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

If we’re thinking more about Obito, I’d like to imagine for the sake of this headcanon Tobi is what he’s like during lower school years and then suddenly one summer he comes back and he’s completely matured into this foreign character unrecognisable to nobody.

He’d become incredibly serious, forgoing the role of energetic teachers pet to a much more muted one. He’d still be just as terrible at all his lessons, and still spend most of his time around teachers rather than others his age but he’d no longer have that fun spark. He’d probably start caring greatly about what people thought of him so his latter years would be trying to stay under the radar completely.

I kind of mentioned stuff in my previous post but basically I am just very tired of how just mean everyone is about essentially things that aren’t important and how people basically turn on each other at the drop of a hat.  And I am tired of people being rewarded for being just super nasty for no reason because it contributes to this sort of idea that you need to be hostile to everyone you don’t see as morally “pure” - and I put that in quotations because it is usually ridiculous sorts of things

like I finally decided I’m just going to block some popular blogs because of these sorts of reasons.  I’m tired of seeing people basically shit all over some others because they have different opinions about fictional stuff that - in the end - doesn’t really matter.  I’m exhausted with the notion that I am a trash human being because of some of the themes and stuff that I like to explore in fiction to escape the shit thoughts that oftentimes roll around in my head. 

and like…I just hate feeling like people will turn on me at a moment’s notice once they find out how “impure” I am, I guess.  I have very bad experiences with emotional/mental abuse and psychological manipulation from a former partner so I’m now somewhat paranoid about things like this.  I shouldn’t be, I know, and even though its been a while since then and I have gotten much better, these sorts of thoughts creep up on me once in a while and then refuse to go away, because I never really want that sort of thing to happen again so I guess I just would rather be paranoid than have to go through any sort of betrayal 

at my heart I am a fandom Old™ so I hate a lot of what happens on this site but fandom has always been part of my life and I have no alternative place to run to, so I stay here.

and I know I’m being unfair, because there are so many lovely people here who wouldn’t do the things I am so terrified of, but I guess I just see the mob mentality everywhere and so tend to just get angry/sad. and like the mob always thinks it is in the right when in reality most of the time they are just straight up bullying someone over fiction

I just…I don’t have a very high opinion of humanity in general.  I mean I guess that sort of thing isn’t unusual; individuals can be good but the mob is almost always terrible and I just see humanity in the collective as being relatively awful. I wish I didn’t feel this way.  In reality I don’t think I have any reason to think this - I had a good childhood and my parents and lovely and my sisters are amazing.  my partner being emotionally and psychologically abusive was terrible, yes, but I also had support that I know others don’t have.  my own mind is my worst gd enemy and it always has been since I can remember for no reason other than the fact that my brain fucking sucks.  it’s…frustrating

really I shouldn’t care about the opinions of random sanctimonious people on the internet, I know that.  but I guess it is more that these people are rewarded and everything that makes me feel like the people whose opinions I do care about will just turn on me the moment I disagree with the mob mentality

I don’t know.  I’m just…I’m tired.  The AA fandom was to me an oasis in this desert and lately I just feel like that oasis is drying up.  Like I once saw the AA fandom as being so nice and welcoming after coming from super//natural and now I’m just like…seeing popular blogs who are just mean and shit on anyone who even disagrees over which game they like the best.  maybe I was blind before bc super//natural is a notorious fandom so almost anything would look better by comparison

again, this is unfair.  most people I’ve interacted with in this fandom are lovely, really!  I just…you ever have those times where everyone around you seems to love a person and you’re sitting there with a gross feeling in your stomach because you really dislike/distrust that same person and wonder what everyone is seeing?  that’s how I feel sometimes with respect to some of the more popular blogs.

…I’m hoping this mentality will clear up; I go through ups and downs pretty regularly and I guess I’m in a big down period so I just am sad and stuff.

I’m sorry I basically just rambled about stuff that is too gd personal for this blog but…yeah.  I dunno.
