9-1-1 Marauders au

okay so I've had this thought for a while now for a marauders 9-1-1 au and it honestly just makes so much sense to my brain.

Wolfstar as Buddie with Sirius as Buck and Remus as Eddie PLUS you also get Teddy and who doesn't love Teddy??

And then you also have Starchaser as Madney with Regulus and Buck being siblings you get the whole Maddie and Buck dynamic as well. I could also totally see Reg being a 9-1-1 operator and James would 100% be a fighter. AND just imagine how cute it would be for Jegulus to become girl dads and name the baby Effie after Euphemia 😍. (This would probably be with Trans!Regulus)

And then you get Pandalily as Henren with them being Harry and eventually Luna's parents. And on top of thos Pandora would totally be a scientist of some sort just like Hen. That and platonic July like...🤩 they are the whole reason I came up with this idea like imagine Hen and Chim's dynamic in 9-1-1 but with Jily?! Like that scene in I think season 5 with Chim telling Hen that she's the genius and he's the comic relief just SCREAMED platonic Jily to me.

Also you have Bathena as Minerva and Poppy with Poppy being Bobby and Minerva being Athena!? LIKE ISN'T MINERVA LITERALLY THE ROMAN VERSION OF ATHENA!! Plus Poppy totally kicking ass and helping to save lives as a firefighter and you CAN'T tell me she wouldn't be an amazing chef like Bobby???!

Now obviously there are A BUNCH more characters that I have lots of ideas about on how to throw in here but I feel like I've covered the basics.

Anyways this fic idea has stuck with me for a while now so I'll probably end up writing something about it even if it's just a oneshot...

The attempt to try and convince people that those who are openly and loudly against pedophilic rhetoric are actually the pedophiles in the room is an attempt to coerce others to stop defending children. We see this also in the idea that has been pushed around left to spaces for the past few years that "protect children" is a far right dog whistle.

It will do well to remind everybody that we are in a pedophilic, patriarchal society that values naivety in women and girls. Men are going to try to convince everyone that the people trying to help children are actually the bad guys because they have a vested interest in keeping this pedophilic cultural alive.

i absolutely loath this idea that if youre uncomfortable with girls wearing skimpy outfits its because youre the one sexualizing children. like no, but pedophiles absolutely do, and the boys her age are definitely objectifying her too! why am i the bad guy for understanding that? like knowing there are people who do x thing so you need to be aware of it doesnt make you the person who does x thing. my mom teaching me to lock the car door immediately when i get in the car isnt because she kidnaps women, its because she knows men kidnap women and an unlocked door puts me at a higher risk
