Ok I'm thinking about kabuto backstory again and thinking about how unfair and fucked up it all is like

How fucked up is it to threaten these people into working as spies for you "for the good of Konoha", and then decide that these people (who have given NO INDICATION of intending to betray Konoha) are too good at being spies and thus Too Dangerous and should be killed for it. But no he can't just kill them in a normal way. He had to manufacture an entire scenario so that they'd kill EACH OTHER while making the mom not recognize him (with the express purpose of breaking the kid's spirit) like BROOOOOO I know you ordered the whole Uchiha clan to be massacred (conducting genocide for the sake of 'peace') actually now that I think about it he ordered this of itachi. Ordered him to kill his own family. Of course Danzo would get off on making a mother and son kill each other "for the good of Konoha" he's almost fucking cartoon villain level of horrible past the point of logic EXCEPT there really are people this awful that have existed. And they have also justified it as being "for the good of [nation]" like that's the Thing, he's a war hungry nationalist that has decided He Knows Best so he's going to fuck up SO many people's lives, up to and including his own damn citizens!!!! And so they tell Naruto everything they know. That Minato was his father, Jiraya's student, they tell about his skills and mention how great he was in the war. Kakashi also tells Naruto he lost his team in that same war, not as many details, but does mention Minato was in charge of his team during those battles. They do tell him he was, in fact, the hokage and explain that the fox was previously sealed inside someone else, and how he died when the it was released.

Tsunade tells Naruto about his clan, their history, her own relation to Mito, where they came from and what they could do. She tells him about Kushina, how kind and determined she was, Jiarya and Kakashi add their own comments about her, great fighter and even greater person. How she accepted her fate while never losing herself. And then tell him she was his mother and jinchuuriki. They don't know the details of how the seal was broken, but tell Naruto everything his parents sacrificed for him and to save both he and the village.

They try to explain Hiruzen's idea of keeping it all a secret was to protect him, but don't excuse him. His plan failed and his mistakes came back to snake bite him. Tsunade wants Naruto to decide his own path, knowing the full truth, it's the least she can do.

After that, Kakashi knows Naruto is gonna need a little comforting, but doesn't trust any of the adults at that moment, so asks Sakura and Sasuke to make sure he's okay.

basically what if Tobirama fails and dies like about a year after the marriage with Madara. Konoha is building and everything, everyone is happy and then Tobirama fucking dies.

I didn't think of the reason, but maybe he was killed in battle or smth. Maybe by some clan like idk Shimura :)

So, expectedly, Madara loses his fucking mind and it's even worse than when Izuna died, cuz they're supposed to be at peace what the fuck. Madara tries to raze the entire clan responsible for his sweet husband's death.

Hashirama doesn't let him do that and Madara leaves the village, where Black Zetsu catches onto him.

So basically, canon, but Tobirama was never Niidaime and Izuna lived.

The second Hokage would be, idk, Itama, who's fucking terrified and he didn't signed up for this shit!

But yeah, he's the Niidaime and he does everything in his power to implement everything Tobirama wanted to do for the village. And it's a lot. A LOT. Honestly like the dude knew he's gonna be a Hokage one day, he left MANY notes.

Itama appoints Kagami as his successor, cuz that's what Tobirama would want.

Danzo, being a bitch at the Uchiha clan, since Madara had a huge beef with his clan, kills Kagami, takes his eyes, makes it mission accident yada-yada, Itama appoints Hiruzen the next Hokage.

Idk why Itama left the position, but he never wanted it anyway. He did everything his brother wanted and peaced out to go smoke.

So, the canon happens.

The 4th war happens.

Orochimaru raises the dead Hokage, but not only him, Tobirama is there too, since he was super smart and his personal fav.

"Oh fuck, not again," Tobirama said, hiding his face in his hand. Everyone thought that's about the time Orochimaru made him fight in the Konoha crush on chuunin exams. He choose him over Itama, cuz even though Itama is a good Hokage, but he's a healer for the most part and not that useful on the battlefield.

Sasuke asks his questions and then he asks Tobirama.

"Uchiha Tobirama. The history says that you were married off to the Uchiha clan, to Madara, against your will and then took the suicide mission after a year in marriage. Is this true? You hated the Uchiha so much that you killed yourself?"

"I did what"

"Well, you were the one who created Uchiha Police Force..." Orochimaru said.

"First of all, I planned it to go further than the Uchiha and to supervise it myself. At the first stages it was supposed to be only Uchiha because it was one of the most competent clans to do this job and my clan that I trusted. Second of all, 'against my will'? Seriously?! I did not chase Madara since I was 9 to write our marriage off as a political marriage! What the fuck!"

Everyone, except Hashirama and Itama looked shocked at this confession.

"Where IS my husband? Trying to avenge my death to the whole world?"

"Uh, yeah.."

"Of fucking course. I should've left him a note specifically saying that he needs to be in the fucking village and take care of our clan. Now what? Our clan is just one a vengeful child!"

Tobirama paused, feeling up the battlefield.

"And one more Uchiha who lost his shit. Of fucking course"

Everyone shocked, cuz Tobirama had a reputation who hated Uchiha, cuz his brother married him off to them as a peace offering. Then Sasuke makes Hashirama talk about all this talk about village, Hokage, shinobi yada yada yada

Senju brothers are PISSED at Hiruzen and Danzo (thank fuck he's dead right). Hiruzen looked remorseful and said that he knew that everyone expected Kagami to become Hokage and not him.

Ok, so!

Tobirama was the fastest one to rush to the battle field. He had a feral husband to calm down.

He arrived and just stood before Madara, who froze in shock.

"Husband, come here," Tobirama said, opening his arms. Alliance is just standing there gaping cuz what the fuck

Madara didn't notice Tobirama at first, since he masked his chakra by habit. But even then he was exited to meet Hashirama and fight once more. But then he sees Tobirama and FUCK all these plans, his huband is here!!!

Madara just crushed into Tobirama. He had no idea that Tobirama could've been edo tensei'ed the whole time!

"Calm down, dear. What have you done here?" Tobirama asked, petting his husband's hair.

"I just wanted to bring you back..."

"Oh dear... You stupid, stupid man," Tobirama shook his head and kissed him, while the whole Alliance watches shocked.

And this is a story how Tobirama stopped the 4th war singlehandedly.

Ofc there's Obito, but they sic Naruto on him and it's all good. Though Black Zetsu tried something, but Tobirama is fucking READY for him. He will avenge his husband's sanity.

Before they go to Pure Lands again, Tobirama said to Tsunade, Kakashi and Naruto "Fucking fix your history books! I love my husband since I was 9!" (he actually didn't, but no one should know about it, okay)

And Madara is there just clinging to Tobirama with all his body and refusing to let go. He doesn't care about Eternal Tsukuyomi anymore, cuz he can hug his husband once more.

I keep thinking about Itachi’s last moments and how he was most likely completely blind and it hurts. Like how he somehow sealed Orochimaru after saying it felt like him and not looks like him. Wish Kishimoto had given him some happiness. Also loved your last post about Shisui!

Thank you. I somehow got fixated on that plothole because it adds to another theory that's been living in my head rent-free until now.

Itachi was very likely completely blind in chapter 392, judging his surroundings by feelings and no longer visuals. Imagine him stumbling through the darkness, not even able to see his brother's face one last time before he dies. Sasuke isn't talking either. So the only thing he can really do is touch him before his body gives out.

I love AUs in which Itachi survives the battle regardless. Even if injured or blind. If only the team from Konoha had arrived sooner, maybe Itachi would've been captured rather than killed. And maybe the truth would've revealed itself one way or another. He deserves a shot at happiness (and I want fluff).

The Senju Clan

People

Compared to the Uchiha clan, who are phenotypically rather monotonous, the Senju clan had a very diverse population with a wider range of skin tones, eye and hair colors. There were generally very little restrictions when it came to marrying into the clan and becoming a part of it. The only traits most of the Senju shared were that of fine, straight hair whilst the Uchiha had thick and dark hair with curls not being uncommon.

The reason the Senju died out were two sides of the same coin - with many of the clan's members birthing less and less children, and those who did marrying outside of the clan to the point where there are many Konoha ninjas nowadays who are part Senju but may not even know it.

Traits and Abilities

The Senju were rather unspecified, wanting to hone their skills in all three fighting styles, though I like to think that Taijutsu was one they particularly excelled in. Once one's movements were fast enough to be evaded by the base sharingan (Mangekyou sharingan was, depending on the source material, either extremely rare or nonexistent), the Senju had an easier time fighting the Uchiha. Many of them became weapons and taijutsu specialists, making me think that Tenten might be part Senju and her idolization of Tsunade was a way to connect with her roots and get to know a fellow Senju.

Another skill of the Senju was wood style, which was a skill many Senju before Hashirama posessed, but they rarely ever utilized it in battle. Said ability was caused by a point mutation in the exome, prompting Orochimaru to later carry out experiment's on embryonic DNA to artificially induce said point mutation, killing dozens of newborns in the process.

Religion

While the Uchiha followed the way of Shintōism, most of the Senju were buddhists, like their distant relatives, the Uzumaki. Initially, the people living in the country of fire were engaging in both buddhist and shintōist practices, but with the continued rise of war between the shintō-believing Uchiha and the buddhist Senju, these two religions were more or less divided.

The Senju and the Uzumaki

The establishment of Uzushiogakure in the whirlpool country was received with mixed feelings from its inhabitants. Most Uzumaki, although practiced in the arts of combat, preferred their pacifistic lifestyle of teaching their ways on paper, and not on the battlefield. This instability made it easier for the hidden mist village to send colonialist forces, killing most of the Uzumaki in fear of their congenital abilities. And with the Senju living more and more decentralized and being too occupied with themselves, Uzushiogakure lacked the manpower compared to Kiri's extermination force.

The Senju's Legacy

Nowadays, after Konoha was founded, the Senju started living more and more decentralized, therefore there wasn't such a thing as the "Senju compound". The language of the Senju was adapted as Konoha's official language, causing the other hidden villages to adapt it as well. There were shrines for both buddhist and shintō believers in the village, but once Hashirama became the first hokage, more and more citizens adapted the Senju's religion of buddhism, with the shintō believers dwindling in numbers. Tobirama's segregation policy did not help in the slightest; although the Uchiha, who believed in family unity and support, lived closely together, being redlined and pushed into the same profession felt patronizing. But even though the Senju as a clan is no more, their legacy continues on, in good ways, and in bad.

About the Itachi VS Sasuke fight when itachi died, was itachi really holding back against his little brother like Obito said? We know he was blind but was he really sick and dying?? Because I don't know if we should just believe what obito said I'm still unsure, I mean Itachi looked like he was giving it his all he even used Susano so, can you please clarify this for me if you know? I feel like you'll be the best judge since you love both brothers and know a lot about them. What actually was going on during that fight? Thanks in advance!

Don't worry, it's not a question about powerscaling. Itachi was sick and it was hinted before Sasuke vs Itachi happened as well. But before Obito says something, we see Zetsu commenting on Itachi not giving his best already. According to Zetsu, Itachi was stronger than what he put up with Sasuke. And there must have been something that had slowed him down before the battle began.

Then Obito tells us Itachi was sick and had been alive on the medicines.

Whether Itachi was or was not on medicines, Obito might not be aware of that. He must have observed that Itachi wasn't doing well and assumed Itachi was taking medicines to keep himself alive.

In the chapter 353, Itachi and Kisame go to hunt down the Four Tails Jinchuriki, and instead of Itachi, Kisame battles and captures Rōshi. Kisame then says he insisted on capturing the Jinchuriki instead of letting Itachi do the work on his own.

Further in the same chapter, while it's Kisame who fought with the Jinchuriki, which would naturally leave him more tired, notice that it's Itachi who takes a seat as if walking alone, without doing anything, was exhausting for him. Kisame is the one holding the dying man. Why does Itachi need to take a rest? Simple, he wasn't doing well. And Kisame knew it, which is why, without Itachi saying anything, he decided to take a break.

When it comes to the battle with Sasuke, Itachi was sick already. The things that go on in their battle are:

Itachi and Sasuke use Genjutsu on each other. It must be a simple Genjutsu because Sasuke used the similar trick on him.

Then Itachi uses Tsukuyomi on him. Sasuke breaks free from him.

Afterwards Sasuke attacks him with the shadow shuriken technique that Itachi fails to deflect. And that makes Zetsu wonder for the first time if there's something wrong with Itachi that he wasn't able to dodge a simple attack like shuriken.

By this time, Itachi is completely crippled. He can't even see Sasuke's face properly.

Then they use katon and Itachi gets weaker than before. Sasuke has a simple Sharingan, but Itachi, due to his MS, is still more vulnerable because his eyes are not helping him anymore.

Then Sasuke uses Orochimaru's curse mark (which is a minor power booster) and Itachi uses Amaterasu. Now, that leaves Itachi even weaker. Itachi has used 3 of his major powers: Tsukuyomi, Katon, and Amaterasu. He's still standing though.

Itachi uses Amaterasu twice. Once it's when he's countering Sasuke's fireball and then when he targets Sasuke for real. It's all a lot for him.

Then Sasuke uses Kirin on him, which he obviously, deflects by his susano'o.

Once Sasuke is completely done with all his strength, Itachi finally wields his susano'o properly. And he uses Totsuka blade to seal Orochimaru as well. Afterwards, he begins to violently cough blood. It leaves Zetsu even more concerned over the matter.

He even believes something might already have been wrong with Itachi. Because Itachi is supposed to be stronger than this. Sasuke was no match for him, so what happened?

Now, Sasuke also shows similar kinds of symptoms (coughing blood) when he's overused his susanoo. But unlike Itachi, Sasuke fought longer and harder. Sasuke fought the Raikage, then the five kage too, and then Danzo. He was beyond the point of exhaustion and he'd overused his susano'o to the point he was nearly blind when he is ambushed by team 7. He feels the pain on the microscopic level.

Itachi used a veriety of powers but in a controlled manner. When I say Itachi was holding back, I don't mean he didn't use his powers fully, but that the intensity of those powers was minimized to cause the least harm, because harming Sasuke was not his intention in the battle. He was calculative about the whole thing and wanted to push him farther enough to have him use Orochimaru's chakra, so he could get rid of the curse mark.

The kind of battle Itachi and Sasuke had, if Itachi was healthy, would not have killed Itachi. It would have weakened him, have him bleed, but death would be a hard possibility. Itachi was much stronger than Sasuke and there was nothing that could kill him if he himself did not want to die.

While Obito's words leave a lot of room for obscurity, Itachi's state is hinted through his interactions with Kisame. He was ill, which is why Kisame suggested to capture the Jinchuriki on his own. While Kisame did all the work, he's carrying the nearly dying but a hefty man, along with Samehada, it's Itachi who needs to sit down and give himself a rest. The most Itachi did on that journey was walk beside Kisame and talk him out of capturing the Jinchuriki. That's all. And then, Zetsu commenting how Itachi could have done better than he did in the battle. So, something was wrong with him.

During his first appearance, he uses Tsukuyomi twice (for 72 hours and 24 hours) and then Amaterasu too. But he was either healthy at that point or his illness was in its nascent stage, so it doesn't affect him that bad. He says he'll need some rest but there's no immediate threat to his life.

So, yes, I do believe Itachi was suffering from an illness and Obito's words about him taking medicines could have been the truth or he might have been shooting an arrow in the dark. But Itachi being sick is confirmed.

Is Madara weaker than Hashirama?

Call me a Madara apologist but the idea that Hashirama always beats Madara is wrong.

It is correct though to say that after Izuna's death, Madara was never able to catch up with his rival. All his will was about protecting his kin and specifically his last brother. When he lost all of that, yes he found an other goal corrupted by Black Zetsu, but because it was so different from his true nature, it wasn't able to push him enough to surpass Hashirama. The infinite Tsukuyomi is a way to cope with the loss of his hopes that died along his brother. You notice how it lacks creativity, all the plan was written down step by step by black Zetsu and it consisted for Madara to just froze the whole world into a dream and stop fighting anymore to make the world a better place. Also I won't be surprised if Madara developed this fangirling for Hashirama's power after his defeat at the Valley of the end. If we're honest, the gap between them isn't that big considering how both of them were exhausted in the Valley of the end 0.0. It was one wooden clone close, if I may say! But this small difference was lethal and changed the whole history of the shinobi world. And maybe Madara crystallised (or froze) that moment as a trauma he can't overcome. It's as if for instance Naruto gives up working harder after losing against Sasuke at the Valley of the End 1.0 and fantasizing how powerful was Sasuke's sharingan and that it is the ultimate dojutsu that he has to steal in order to become stronger. To put in a nutshell I believe that if Izuna was still alive and his clan still supporting him, maybe Madara wouldn't have been so impressed by Hashirama and would have found new way to counter his mokuton ( and there is a lot of way to counter it I should write a post about it🤔). It's always the same pattern with Madara, his actual weakest point is his sensitivity, not his physical abilities or his might. Losses and failures had a huge toll on him and brought him into despair rather than being a fuel to try harder and endure like Hashirama or Naruto.

There is this moment during the war when Madara stole Edo Hashirama's senjustu and he's shocked how easy it is for him to control it. All those years he was scared to master the Senjutsu because he put Hashirama's power on a pedestal only to realise he could have done it earlier if he had believed in himself. We don't know how fast the training was for Hashirama but we know that it took a long time for Naruto to master it at the mount Myoboku even Jiraya was never able to get the perfect form. Madara did it in 3 sec...

In other translation he precises he thought senjutsu was harder to master

Let's go back to the first illustration. between their first encounter by the river and Izuna's death. Hashirama admitted that it's the first time Madara was K-O.

What can we guess about that? From the moment they met when they were 12 years old by the river to approximately 25/26 years old (Izuna died at 24). They might have been moment when they finished ex aequo, or that one side strategically retreated or that Madara had a real advantage over Hashirama and vice versa Hashirama took the lead in a different battle. Why? Because we saw that dynamic played between Sasuke and Naruto. Sasuke was first introduce as the genius while Naruto like the dunce. After Jiraya's training, Naruto lead. Then Sasuke took over after the valley of the end 1.0 and his three years training with Oroshimaru. During the 4th Shinobi war we can say that they were both equal with a small advantage to Naruto having a quick power up when he learnt to work with Kyubi. Then Hagoromo gave them the same power in order to beat Sage Madara and later Kaguya. After the Valley of the end 2.0, Sasuke conceded victory to Naruto's ideology but technically they both ended up equal, losing both an arm. And all of this is happening during a short period of 5 years from their 12 years old in team 7 to 17 years old at the conclusion of the Fourth Shinobi war.

What Naruto and Sasuke developed in 5 years during 700 chapters we have it resumed in this single panel above for Hashirama and Madara that spent about 15 YEARS fighting each other regularly in battlefields. That panel resumes perfectly all those years before Konoha was founded. All this period without seeing details about their personal lives, their clans or their training. ~by the way my fanfic ~Madara golden Age explores this period of Warring state era if you're interested here 👀~ Obviously they went through a lot of challenges and hardships, losses and victories from both side. If Uchiha were hired to fight Senju it's because their strength were heavenly equivalent. Madara had to win from time to time against Hashirama and the Senju clan in order to be credible, to be hired by warlords for years and to feed his clan. Life expectancy being 30 years and both becoming leader of their clan before reaching this age means they respectively lost clansmens, friends and their fathers during the warring state era. They are the powerhouse they are because it was a dire matter of life or death. Yet Naruto the manga is focused on the moment Madara lost everything that matters to him, so naturally he kept losing against Hashirama hence why he's seen as a perpetual loser. Being the main villain, it's normal that his fall into darkness is more interesting to the plot that his glorious days. In the end, the story is always written by the final winner.

You know, I didn't dislike the Kaguya battle as much as I thought that I might. I'd probably have different, more interesting feelings on this if I'd been reading "Naruto" properly instead of skipping over a bunch of stuff in the middle, but I'd already been spoiled on her as a villain and expected her appearance. And also the story has dropped so many threads and fumbled the landing of so many character arcs by this point that the vibes were kind of like, "Sure, this might as well happen next."

My favorite parts of that excruciatingly long final battle were anytime the fight involved ugly, complicated personal histories between characters. So, I liked "Hashirama versus Madara" and "Tobirama versus Madara". (I initially went looking for the "Senju versus Uchiha" flashback chapters (622ish; 619-ish is where Orochimaru resurrects the previous Hokages) and kept on reading from there out of curiosity.) And I also really liked the "Kakashi versus Obito" moments and "Minato (+ Naruto + Tobirama) versus Obito".

Thinking about it now, it seems really weird that there wasn't a bigger emotional confrontation between Sasuke and Madara, or else one between Sasuke and Obito. Sasuke seemed kind of checked out for most of the battle until it was time to him to fight Naruto after Kaguya was defeated. I guess he's just done with most of this shit after Itachi died. But Madara and Obito are partially responsible for a lot of the tragedy in Sasuke's life? I guess yelling at the villains for being shitty people and shitty family is already Naruto's job...

There's a lot about Kaguya that I actually think is kind of cool. She's pretty scary. I think the lore is pretty neat, actually. And even though she has basically zero personal connection to any of our heroes (Sasunaru being reincarnations of her descendants do not count as "personal" connections in my eyes), the Kaguya battle FINALLY cut the cast down to a far more reasonable number of people so that the story stopped being split in half-a-dozen different directions.

It's just Team 7 plus Obito! We're down to like 6-8 characters (depending on whether or not you count Zetsu, and also the Sage of the Six Paths, I guess). Nicely focused! I liked seeing Team 7 reunited and struggling forward together to save the world all on their own. I thought that this narrowed focus helped the pacing a lot, especially because the fight with her specifically didn't actually drag on for very long, and so I found it surprisingly easy to get through her part of the super long final battle compared to some of the earlier waffling back and forth between Madara and Obito and Zetsu.

In this AU Naruto becomes Hokage a lot earlier than in the manga and The Last never happened.

Naruto rolled his eyes at the purchase asking why she needed it and complained about how much room it took up, but Hinata enjoyed modeling different dresses in front of it, loved how it let her see all the many different angles. And that seemed to keep Naruto quiet enough about the mirror.

-it's the mystery of Hinata's background that really fuels this piece for me. Icing on the cake is Naruto as a wonderfully sexy and dangerous stranger and the sexual tension between them that is absolutely exquisite.

In a world where soulmates are found after a touch and after a brief moment of pain, resulting in a red loop circling the first knuckle of each person's pinky finger. Fating the two people together and leaving it up to them to decide what their relationship will be. Hinata had just stopped at her friends for a piece of pizza, little did she know that she'd be leaving with a soulmate.

Does Hinata really love Naruto though?

Hinata may be inspired by Naruto and was willing to sacrifice herself, instead of actually helping him in his battle against Pain, but her whole love for Naruto is as selfish as Sakuras love for Sasuke... She doesn't seem to care much about the real Naruto. - She always talks about the smiling, I will never give up Naruto, but that is such the surface of his character.

She never really shows so much as real consideration towards him. This love is about herself. Not once, does she think about Naruto's isolation as a kid - Not once, about his struggles. She doesn't ask about Sasuke, or the Akatsuki, or Naruto being an orphan or a jinchuriki.

She is never there when he struggles. Where was she after Jiraiya died, for example? Shikamaru was the one consoling Naruto.

She just has this idealized version of smiley sunshine Naruto in her head. But she doesn't seam to care at all about Naruto's pain... Understanding each other's pain being the central theme of this arc.

Naruto has this pure love for Sasuke, where they feel pain, when the other is in pain and just can't take it. Hinata on the other hand? She just wants Naruto for herself and to spend time with him, but there is nothing deep about this. She is just inspired by him in the way everyone else in the series is.

Poor translation and delivery. Nothing in the story shows that. Sasuke said Naruto saved him, Naruto was the only one who never tried to cut Sasuke off, and Sasuke said after Itachi died, he thought he was alone but then he realized Naruto was still there. If Sakura had saved him in any way or was relevant to his storyline, Kishimoto would have showed it in the story. Kishimoto only gave this type of strong relevancy when it came to Sasuke's character to Itachi and Naruto.

Databooks are compiled by the editors, not written by Kishimoto. They are made as merchandise to be sold to hardcore fans who want more content. Since JUMP owns the IP, Kishimoto has to accept these types of merchandise that is made of Naruto, it's contract based that all mangaka in JUMP have to go through. If they commission him to draw a cover for a fanbook or novel, Kishi will do it, but it's not a stamp of approval on his part, because it's something that is required from the mangakas because they have a contract with SJ. Kishimoto is credited as the creator of the original story in the books, but it's also made clear he didn't write these databooks. Databooks also have SK favouring comments, what do you say to that? The same goes for the novels written by authors who aren't Kishimoto either. Esaka at least acknowledged this, that Kishimoto's manga is the only canon, even if she was arrogant enough to like comments saying she should replace Kishimoto and that she is better than him. It only shows Kishimoto didn't give a damn about either SS or SK because their stans need to go to content written by ten different people, conventiently none of them being Masashi Kishimoto, in order to give their ship some relevancy, because they can't find such relevancy in the story Kishi wrote.

Of course you think NH is shit and SS is amazing, because SS and NH have this constant battle on which ship is the best. Now, they are fighting over which girl is more of a single mother. Sakura wins that fight of course, but Hinata's case isn't much better, since her husband will rather count headbands than be with his wife. But I find this thing your lot does pretty pathetic. You are basically fighting over which is better, a rotten apple or a rotten orange.

Things in the last that made no sense

Naruto- realised he loved Hinata just by seeing her memories, I mean that doesn't make sense, because it was so obvious he loved Sakura not that I could blame him, she's awesome.

Sakura- she knew Naruto loved her, romantically, but she said it was because of his rivalry, sakura knows what romantic love is.

Hinata - getting the hamura charak made no sense, she lost every battle she tried her hardest in, yet, she gotten a power-up , but it wasn't like Team 7 her was just temporary, her power-up was just given to her, she didn't work for it, I mean she worked hard to get strong but it's just so random how she given a charak out of nowhere.

Hinata being the heroine - make no sense, we didn't see much of her since she was a side character, and out of nowhere she's a heroin in a movie. It's did not feel right.

The kiss scene - the kiss was romantic, but at the same time naruhina kiss was at the worst timings, they just saved hanabi, bunch of eye balls were falling and two thought it was a perfect time to make out, I mean, surly it could have waited and time was at the essence.

Hanabi - Hanabi is said to have the purest byuakgan, but we barely saw her .

Sasuke- getting 1 second of screen time, it's not like he's isn't a part of the main cast or anything, yet he was barely there.

Ino, Choji, kiba, shino, tenten and lee-baerly there, wouldn't it make sense for kiba and Shino to be on the rescue mission since they have sensory skills and looking for people is their thing, Choji and Ino, Lee like sasuke had a moment of screen time. Tenten, we gotten a design of her for the movie yet she's forgotten yet again.

The love triangle - Naruto and Tonri fighting over Hinata, felt weird, BC toner had a goal to wipe out humanity, but instead ended up in a fight for Hinata,

Naruto fight with him was good, but wasn't the best, it felt like he was a bit weaker and only got strong because of power of love. I mean he and team 7 beat Kaguya a god, but struggled against an alien... if team 7 was there, they would not struggle.

Team 7- winning the war, and yet, it felt they were nerf to make Hinata seem strong and for the new Sanin they got the side character treatment.

Hisashi- I kinda wanted to see him fight, since he was trying to protect his daughters. He may be a strict military dad, but he still cares for his kids, to point he almost died for them and he wasn't abusive like the Hinata fandom made him out to be. Just, they were in a time of war and their no time to be coddle and he protected Hinata many times not just because she's the heir. He was disappointed in her for losing to hanabi 5 year younger. Calling her a loser. And saying that the hyuga had no use to for her, was the worst thing to say . But he made it . The manga show him training her not abusing her.

Hinata past- she was bullied and Naruto saved her, but manga, she was given a carefree childhood thank you her friends and family. and not bullied.

I'm going to say, the problem with the movie was mostly BC, Hinata was the heroine which was a bad call. And it made her a damsel in distress. We were robbed of seeing how strong the hyuga clan was, we were robbed of seeing the new Sanin and the romance was so rushed. It was said that neji died so naruhina can happen, yet, he wasn't even mention, only time we saw him was his ghost at the last ep. So Neji dying for Naruto and Hinata was the pointless .

Honestly I wanted to see team 7 team up again, after all the things they went through and all.

Also, if himawari could save inojin who impaled just like Neji was, then how on earth was Naruto was unable to save neji.

The sharingan and it's capabilities when it comes to space and time are largely unexplored. The sharingan has many techniques that, with enough training, the wielder can control. The Jikan Phenomenon is not one of them. 

Chespin: - “The Cessation of Panic“ (Sakura/Sasuke) • "There's a thing called a hospital," she starts. "I recognize that Orochimaru was mean to you and probably never took you to one, but they're wonderful things. You should go there. Now." Or: Five times Sasuke shows up injured on Sakura's doorstep.

CherFleur: “Tsundoku” (...) (Kakashi/OC) *discontinued, rewrite in progress, also has some unconnected fics within the same fic universe Hatake Kakashi had a problem. Some would argue that he has many problems but while they may be right, he's perfectly content ignoring them. And denial. He's very good at denial. Well, this time, technically he had three genin-shaped problems, but right now his most troublesome - ah, he can practically feel the Nara cringing - problem is a student so covered in scented lotion, shampoo, and soap that she could qualify as an implement of torture. This needed a kunoichi's touch. Preferably one without a team of her own, definitely not someone who would traumatize them even more... Ah ha. He's a genius. Yes, Nagisa Asuka will be perfect. Hopefully, she won't stab him when he asks. People often try to stab him. He wonders why.

Araceil: "Accidental Providence" (...) (Naruto/Neji) (000) deleted fic, but I still have the google doc saved An AU where Naruto graduated the first time he was at the academy and ends up on Gai's team with TenTen and Neji (in cannon he failed to graduate 3 times I think, and then after that the Mizuki thing happened) *obviously since the fic was deleted, I don't have the official summary, so my own will have to do

Applecrumbledore: “Awful Wonderful” (Gai/Kakashi) •  Gai spoke at the reception that followed Kakashi's inauguration. “My eternal rival—it has been one of the premiere joys of my life to watch you transform from the curious, brooding youth whom I admired into the intelligent, powerful and truly kind man who sits before me today, whom I am proud to respect and adore.” He raised his sake cup and it looked comically small in his big hands. “To our Rokudaime.” Adore. Kakashi turned the word over and over again in his head and tried to remember if Gai had said it before in all his flowery language about friendship. He couldn't.

Blackkat: - “Backslide” (Naruto/Kakashi+)  Naruto’s friends are gone, his lover is dying, Konoha is destroyed, and Madara’s second return has pushed the entire world to the brink. Hunted and harried, Naruto is sent back in time to upend Madara’s plan before it even starts, and sets about changing everything. Butterfly effect nothing: the world is at stake, and Naruto is hardly about to let it fall to ruin once more. Not while he’s still breathing.

Ideaoforder: - “Roots and Wings” (Kakashi/Iruka)  When Naruto is kidnapped from his orphanage at age three, Kakashi is so done with this shit. He gets Naruto back, tells the Hokage where to go (politely, because he isn't suicidal), and raises the boy himself. Or, you know, tries and is proud when there aren't too many explosions. Then everybody starts to copy him and it's a whole thing.

The Book was fact, and to Kakashi's enemies, Iruka had just become a weakness they could exploit.

It's been a while since the last time that I hunted down Itachi fics on Ao3 (last time was probably last year). Most of these fics are also very Sasuke-centric (sometimes even more Sasuke- than Itachi-centric) because I am a sucker for the hurt/comfort between them.
