nowhere else i'd rather be | l.s
a/n: here is more of logan x verstappen!reader. i've also got another part in the works which i'm excited to start
summary: you comfort logan after the news broke that he wouldn't be racing in the australian grand prix
<- previous part
You were in the Red Bull garage when the news was announced. You had heard the rumors after Alex's crash in free practice one but you didn't think they would actually do it or at least you hoped they wouldn't. Williams had given Alex Logan's car for the rest of the weekend and you were angry.
You quietly left before anyone noticed, making your way to Logan's room for the weekend. No one batted an eye, too focused on getting the car ready for free practice two so you were able to sneak in. You found his room easily, the layout similar to Red Bulls garage, and knocked on the door. You heard some movement inside but no one came to open the door.
"Logan? It's me, Y/N." You tried again. You didn't want to just barge in but you also wanted to see him, to make sure he was okay. Well as okay as anyone can be in this situation.
"The doors open." You heard him mumble and you quickly slipped inside.
The sight before you broke your heart. Logan was sat on his couch, his head in his hands. He looked defeated. You sat down next to him, immediately wrapping your arms around him. It was like a dam broke inside as tears started falling. You held him tightly, your way of letting him know you weren't going anywhere. It took everything for you to not go in James' office and give him a piece of your mind for treating Logan like this.
It was a few minutes before Logan sat up, moving out of your arms. He brushed his hand over his face as if he was trying to hide the fact he was crying. "I'm sorry." He mumbled, too embarrassed to look at you.
"You don't need to apologize, Logan. What they did was shit. You have every right to be upset." You told him, placing your hand over his. "I don't ever wanna hear you apologize for your feelings, okay?"
"Thanks, Y/N." Logan thanked you, sending you what was probably the first genuine smile of the day. "You being here means a lot."
"There's no where else I'd rather be." You admitted, heat rising to your cheeks at your admission. Before you could hide, afraid you made the situation weird, Logan cupped your cheek and leaned forward. Neither of you had a chance to make a move before your phone went off, interrupting the moment. You cursed silently at your brother for choosing now to text you. "I should probably get going or Max will send out a search party."
"Yeah, I should probably show my face in the garage." Logan groaned. He didn't want to but knew he had to keep up appearances for the team.
"I'll text you later." You promised him as he walked you to the door. You hugged Logan goodbye and left but not before you bumped into Alex. "Hey Alex."
"Hey Y/N." He called after you. Alex then turned to Logan giving him a knowing smirk.
"We're just friends." Logan said, trying to convince himself more than anything because there was no way he could have a crush on a fellow drivers sister. Alex grinned at his teammate, not believing him one bit.
-x-
Logan was nervous. More nervous than he was before he got into his car on race days. He had no reason to though because you were just friends. That's what he kept telling himself, afraid of embarrassing himself in front of you. You had texted earlier that you were coming over to his hotel room, bringing food with you, and since then Logan was on edge. It felt like a date but you hadn't said anything to suggest it was.
A knock on the door broke him out of his thoughts. He opened the door and there you were, takeout bags in each hand and a grin on your face. It was enough for the nervousness Logan had to melt away. "I heard about this place from Oscar and he reckons its the best food in Melbourne. So if its bad we can just blame him." You said as you walked into his room. "And I know it may be breaking our diet but we can just do an extra lap of the track tomorrow." You rambled on, taking the boxes out of the bag. When Logan didn't say anything you looked up, seeing him softly smiling at you making you self conscious. "I'm overstepping, aren't I? I am so sorry. You probably want to be by yourself now after today. I'll leave you alone now."
"Please don't." Logan pleaded, interrupting your spiraling thoughts. He gently grabbed your hand to stop you from leaving his room. "I enjoy your company. In fact you're making this whole weekend bearable." Logan pulled you close, his nose brushing yours. "So please don't leave." He mumbled against your lips before kissing you. You melted into his kiss, forgetting any worries you had.

Good boy... GOOD BOY?!
Kuroko is trying his best to convince Kagami that Tetsuya #2 is harmless and really sweet, but nothing seems to work. The puppy decides to take the matter in his own... paws
A/N: Good evening guys!! How are you? 🍡 Today's fic is a request from @wertzunge and it's my first Kuroko no Basket work, as I told you yesterday. Thanks Max for making a second request and for always giving me such wholesome prompts 🥺 I hope you all will enjoy this fic, suggestions and support are always appreciated. Buona lettura 💚🤍❤️ (Have a nice reading)
DISCLAIMER: This is a tickle fic, if it's not to your taste I don't suggest you read it
The basketball gym at Serin High School wasn't exactly a quiet place. Actually, it was anything but quiet between the noise of everyone steps, balls bouncing and the coach's whistling and loud voice. But that day it was noisier than usual.
"KUROKO!! I TOLD YOU TO KEEP THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!" Kagami's voice was so loud that it created an echo in the room. "He's not a thing," the blue-haired boy quickly corrected him "and he's harmless. He's at least twenty times smaller than you." The dog barked in response and jumped into Kuroko's arms eager to get some scritches.
"I don't care how big or small he is," the ace of the basketball team replied with an irritated and subtly scared tone "he's a dog! He can bite!!" He backed away while his best friend followed him. The sixth man's face was expressionless, but it was more than clear that he was having fun.
Their chasing and bickering went on for a while, and they were lucky that the coach had left earlier or they would've been scolded for sure. "Oh sorry the ball slipped from my ha- watch out Kagami!" Shinji's voice resonated through the place, but the red-haired guy didn't hear the warning in time and tripped on the ball, falling on his butt.
After making sure he was alright, everyone started snickering and replaying the scene in their mind, and even Kagami was smiling. He knew it was funny and it could've happened to everyone. What he wasn't expecting at all was a surprise attack from a certain furball, now that his guard was down.
Tetsuya #2 was getting restless in Kuroko's embrace, so the guy put him down to let him run. However, the puppy ran straight towards Kagami and jumped on him in sign of affection. He was more than determined to show to the tall human that he was a good boy, and not someone to be afraid of! To prove that to him, the dog nuzzled and licked his face and neck, anywhere he could reach, not realizing that he was getting the opposite effect.
"K-KUROKO!! GET THIS THING OFF OF ME ALREADYEHE-" The red-haired player covered his mouth with his hand, hoping that no one had noticed what had just happened. Luckily no one did, and Kuroko picked up the mascot eventually, although he vehemently reminded him that he wasn't a thing.
When practice was over everyone went home, but Kagami and Kuroko decided to stay some more to improve their speed and coordination. After another slam dunk, the redhead wiped the sweat off his forehead and grinned "We're getting faster, right Kuroko?" He turned around perplexed "Kuroko? Where are y-AAAHH" He suddenly jumped while shielding his sides with his hands.
The blue-eyed guy had used his "secret ability" to disappear for a second and reappear behind his friend and give a firm jab to his sides. He just wanted to test something he'd noticed when Tetsuya #2 was "assaulting" the taller player, and he was pretty satisfied with the results.
Sensing the playful mood, the dog rushed towards them and barked happily. "THAT THING AGAIN!!" The ace exclaimed in fear and exasperation. Kuroko approached the two of them to take the mascot away, but then he had a mischievous idea. At the last moment, he latched his hands on his friend's hips and squeezed and poked the bones.
"WHAT THE- nohohot yohohohou ahagahahain!" The poor guy broke into a fit of laughter, unable to hold back. "He's not a thing, admit it." The blue-haired boy used his short stature and speed to his advantage to not get caught by the redhead, who was turning around over and over in an attempt to stop him.
"I told you to admit he's not a thing. Say it or I won't stop." The smaller guy replied with a hint of amusement in his tone, while poking all over his teammate's torso, spidering his fingers on his toned belly, worming his index fingers into his underarms and drilling his thumbs into his hips. "Shuhuhut uhuhup and stohohop ihit alreheheahahady!!" Kagami knew that the smartest choice was to just say it and put an end to his friend's shenanigans, but seeing (better yet, hearing, since he was using his invisibility powers) Kuroko amused was such a rare sight that he wanted to carry on a little more.
And maybe he wasn't exactly distressed or uncomfortable with the situation...
Not knowing what to do to escape the tickles, the ace decided to drop to the floor and have his chances in a wrestling match on the ground. As expected, Tetsuya was quick to follow him, and Kagami's plan would've succeeded if it weren't for the unfair intervention of the certain furball.
Having a dog right next to him made the taller player yelp, and that distraction was all Kuroko needed to effectively pin him down. The blue-haired boy knew he had no chance of beating the other when it came to strength, so he pinned his hands above his head with his knees, instead of straddling him and using only one hand to keep him still.
The tickle attack resumed almost immediately with the sixth man sliding his fingers up and down the ribcage and underarms, randomly digging in just to enjoy the startled increase in pitch of Kagami's laughter. "Kurohohokohooo stahAHAHAhap ihihit WAHAHA!!" The red-eyed guy was still too stubborn to let him go just yet, so Kuroko just carried on, watching him squirm and struggle to get away.
With all that movement, the tank top of his uniform had rolled up a little, and the puppy noticed it with excitement. He immediately climbed on top of Kagami, who was too busy laughing to even notice, and started licking the exposed skin. No one knows if he did it to show affection, or to mimic what the shorter guy was doing to get the same happy reaction, or both but the roaring laughter that echoed in the gym was priceless.
"GEHEHET THAHAHAHAHAT THIHIHING AHAHAWAHAHAYEHEHEHE" The redhead didn't even know he was so sensitive on his belly, maybe it was the different touch... but it wasn't the right time to think about that. He still had to break free. He didn't even know that a puppy could tickle that much, even the fluffy paws trying their best to not fall felt tingly on his skin. He really was in quite the predicament.
Luckily for him, Kuroko thought it wasn't safe to let Tetsuya #2 stay on the taller guy when he was squirming so much so he got up and quickly straddled him before getting tge dog off. Kagami instantly covered his torso with his hands, but his friend simply gave him a tiny smug smirk and turned around before getting off.
He proceeded to lay the redhead's shins on his lap, not without an intense struggle, and crossed his legs to trap them. Then he scribbled under his knees with one hand while squeezing right above the kneecaps with the other.
If he thought that the previous laughter was loud, it was nothing compared to the one that broke out the second his fingertips touched Kagami's knees. It was boisterous, just like him; Kuroko thought it suited him perfectly.
However, the fun came soon to an end. It turned out that, despite being so strong, tough and cool, even the ace was weak to being tickled in his most sensitive spot. "YOHOHOU WIHIHIHIN!! HEHEHEHE'S NOHOHOHOHOHOHOT AHAHA THIHIHIHING!" As soon as the red-eyed guy admitted it, the tickling stopped and he found himself free from the blue-haired player's clutches.
After Kagami had calmed down from the residual giggles, Tetsuya #2 started headbutting Kuroko, who was still sitting on the ground, because he felt left out and wanted attention. The shorter guy laughed a little and turned around to give him some tummy rubs. The puppy panted happily with his tongue sticking out and the sixth man awed internally at that sight. "See? He's a good boy..."
"Good boy..." Kuroko could almost see his teammate's furious aura building up around him "GOOD BOY?! IF I HAD TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THAT, IT WAS BECAUSE OF H-"
"Don't you wanna pet him..?"
Kagami could've said no to that request, but something in his friend's wide, expectant eyes and his hopeful tone made it impossible for him to refuse. He scooted closer and tentatively put his hand on the puppy's stomach, astonished at its softness, then he wiggled his fingers to give some scritches to the little rascal.
Maybe Tetsuya #2 was a good boy, who knows...

ok but imagine aaron having a certain dream about the reader😏and just straight up unable to make eye contact with them the next day at work and is just avoiding them to not “be tempted”, and the reader is just really confused as to what’s happening. But someone on the team eventually figures it out and tells them…. could be 18+ ur wish!!
let ur amazing mind run continue pls and I love ur writing so much ok bye now <333
i want hotch to wet dream about me and then be flustered at work. thank you for letting me think about that.
this post is 18+, minors dni.
"Just set them on my desk."
That's it. That's it, no 'thank you,' no 'Y/L/N,' not even a glance thrown your way by your typically surly Unit Chief. Sure, he had a reputation for being grumpy, but not neglectful. This seemed like more, like you'd upset him.
"Right," You speak tentatively, almost hearing the crunch of eggshells as you step towards his desk. You linger but he pays you no mind, so you give up, placing the files on his desk and hurrying out.
Anxiety burns at your chest, your heart hammering away at the thought of what you might have done.
"Hey, are you okay?" Spencer catches your elbow as you rush for your desk, yanking you gently into the kitchen instead of being out in the bullpen with everyone else. It gets you away from prying eyes, something you're grateful for as you're sure your expression gives away your inner turmoil.
"I'm fine," You say it like a self-affirmation, "Really, I think- I think I'm overreacting."
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Spencer, ever-concerned, pushes. You glance not-so-subtly at Hotch's office, swallowing the minimal saliva that's pooled around your tongue.
"I think," You start, hesitant to say the words out loud in case you're blowing things out of proportion, "I think that Hotch is mad at me."
Spencer laughs.
He laughs.
You frown indignantly, "Hey, what was that for?"
"Sorry!" He seems to recover from his momentary giggle fit, "I just- I don't think so."
"Really? And why not?" You're angry now, feeling ridiculed and belittled by Spencer of all people, "Because he wouldn't even look at me, and he made absolutely no conversation the entire time I was there. He didn't say a single word that wasn't absolutely necessary, and he sounded pissed."
Spencer's brow furrows, and you feel validation at the idea that he's finally believing you. You aren't sure why Hotch is mad at you, but you're glad someone is on your side.
"That's weird," Spencer puzzles, "I can go and talk to him, if you want?"
"No! No," You shake your head vehemently, "I'm sure whatever he's mad at me for will just get worse if I send you in there to snoop."
"I won't snoop!" Spencer insists, "I might not be the smoothest person here but I'll make sure he doesn't know you sent me, at least."
"I dunno," You bring your thumbnail to your lips, your teeth grating at it, "I don't think it's a good idea."
"So you're just gonna sit and be anxious all day?" Reid gestures to the clock, bearing the time 9:35, "I don't even think you'll make it to lunch."
"Maybe you're right," You groan, taking your nail out from between your teeth and running an exasperated hand over your face, "Promise you won't tell him I sent you?"
"Promise." Spencer leaves you with a brisk pat on the arm, "Just make yourself some coffee and wait for me at your desk."
Spencer strides up to Hotch's office, his long legs carrying him far and leaving him outside the door in no time. He knocks twice, then enters at Hotch's cue.
"Reid," Hotch looks up attentively from his paperwork, "Is there something you need?"
"Yeah," Reid gestures to the chair in front of Hotch's desk, "Can I sit?"
"Of course."
Spencer folds himself into the chair easily, his leg bouncing nervously, "Is there something wrong?"
"Wrong?" Hotch's brow quirks up, "What do you mean?"
"I- I just mean," Reid stammers, "You've seemed.. distant, lately. Like you're trying to avoid us."
"I don't recall ever acting that way towards you," Hotch's brows furrow now, drifting down towards his eyes.
"Not towards me," Spencer's toeing the line now, desperately trying to remain casual, "Just.. others of us."
Hotch studies him for a moment, discerning. Then, "Did Y/N send you?"
Y/N. Your first name, not your last. Spencer balks.
'No! No," He chuckles casually, "What- why would Y/L/N send me?"
"Misunderstanding," Hotch dismisses, leaning forwards so that his lower half is completely out of sight, only his chest up visible behind his desk, "Y/L/N doesn't need to worry."
"You should tell them that." Reid finally breaks, guilt seeping into his chest at breaking his promise, "They're really anxious."
"I-" Hotch starts, his eyes drifting out of the window towards your figure hunched over your desk. He groans, covering his face with his large hand,"Reid, I'll handle this."
"Please do." Reid stands, trying to look firm and tough as he stands before his boss, "Because.. well, because they don't deserve this."
"I know." Hotch scoots forward, hastily keeping his lap concealed from the young doctor's view, "I said I'll handle this."
"I just wanted to make sure!" Reid persists, frowning as Hotch hunches slightly in an effort to keep himself more covered, "I just- Hotch.. why are you hiding your lap?"
Reid expects there to be something incriminating there. Maybe a file he isn't supposed to see, a snack he's not supposed to be eating during work hours, perhaps even a risque text. But what incriminates him isn't his body, but his eyes, hardening and barely concealing panic behind their firm insistence.
"Reid," Hotch speaks through gritted teeth, "Go."
It makes sense now. The avoidance, the guilty glances to your worried form, the tight body language. Hotch likes you. He doesn't just like you, He's attracted to you. He's.. he's aroused by you.
"Oh my god," Spencer doesn't mean to give away his discovery, but he can't help himself, "Hotch.. oh my god."
"Spencer," Hotch warns, "Do not-"
"Oh my god!" Spencer feels like he's won. Everyone always knows workplace gossip before him, despite how observant he is he tends to lack in knowledge pertaining to matters of the heart. But this, this guarantees him a lifetime membership to Penelope Garcia's Fantastic Gossip Circle, which holds meetings once a week only for hand-picked members.
"I mean it." Hotch would stand if he could, make himself more domineering, "If you say a word about this.."
"I won't." To anyone outside the office, Reid is rather proud of himself for containing his amusement, keeping a straight face, "You- uh, you have fun with that, Hotch."
His boss fires back a disparaging Reid! before he shuts the door behind him on his way out, but it doesn't lessen the bounce in the doctor's step.
He plops down into his chair, ignoring the loud creak that comes from the plastic hinge when he does. You glance subtly up at him, aware that Hotch can see you both from his office, and not wanting to give yourself away.
"Anything?" Your voice is meek and meager, still panicked from your assumptions.
"You're fine," Reid smirks, the expression looking somewhat foreign on the man in front of you, "He's definitely not mad at you, Y/N."

i had a thought earlier (it happens sometimes) and immediately thought of you for some reason
maybe cause it's just... somewhat angsty xD
anyway, person comes through Ambrose who is really insecure, like when Bo comes to them and is nice and flirty they're like
"uh, don't gotta be nice to me out of pity or some sense of obligation" and when Bo questions that they go on saying that they know their friends are prettier and there's no way Bo would actually wanna talk to them
do Bo feels... kinda sympathetic? but not in the "usual" protective and soft-going-into-romance way
more like "hey, kinda wanna make them feel better/pretty for at least the time they still have" but still ends up killing them
like yeah he can do nice things every once in a while but that doesn't change his being at the core
~
alternatively (because of course my brain had to make it even darker) he does not end up just killing them but taking them to the basement cause in his mind that is the ultimate sign that he thinks they're beautiful and special and he will make them believe it
- 🔪
ahhh thank you so much for sending this 💗 !! honoured you thought of me when you had this idea 😊 (am i known for angst? love that for me). i love this idea so much, it has everything. insecurity? bo having a warped sense of what it means to be kind? a fate worse than death? impeccable. 💀
i tried my best with this, diverged slightly from your idea but i hope you enjoy !! warning for (guess what?) angst, canon-typical murder mentions, brief mention of body insecurity, some smut implications but absolutely nothing major.
hook, line and sinker (bo sinclair x reader)
"You're not much of a talker, huh?"
You turn back to the man who works at the gas station - Bo, he had so politely introduced himself - from where you'd been staring out of the window.
His brow is raised at you as he sifts through a box of fan belts, looking for the one you need. Your previous, snapped belt sits on the work bench beside him.
You'd heard this before, so you give your practised reply, a casual laugh, as you try to stifle your embarrassment, "No, not really."
"That's okay," Bo shrugs, and his voice sounds so surprisingly sincere coming from a stranger, "Neither is my brother." There's a beat before he adds, "Though, he never shuts up."
You glance away again, trying to think of a reply, but you settle on a polite smile instead.
Bo smiles back, a small sigh leaving him as he looks back down at the box of fan belts. "I don't got the one you need here, but I just got an order in so there might be some new one up at the house."
"Sure, that works for me," you agree.
"You can come on up and then I'll give you a ride back to your car?"
You didn't want to take him out of his way to fix the belt, "Oh, you - you don't have to, I could --"
"It's no problem," he insists, "Slow day anyhow. Might as well spend my time helping a pretty little thing like you out."
That surprises you, as rarely do you receive unprompted compliments. You were used to your friends getting all the attention. For a moment you don't know how to respond. You chose to ignore it, keep things strictly business, just like you're best at, "Only if you're sure."
"Sure I am," Bo's eyes gleam with something you can't quite work out. "So, what got you driving up this way anyhow, we don't get too many visitors these days."
"I'm travelling," you answer, "cross country."
"Ain't that something," Bo muses, leading the way out of the shop and locking the door behind the both of you. He turns on his heel and starts on up the road.
You follow meekly behind him. A feeling you might once have pinned at nervousness, but now feeling more like disappointment knowing that the conversation is over. What more would Bo have to say to you beyond the pleasantries he had already gifted you?
His parents had pointed out, many times, that Bo wasn't the sharpest tool in the box, but they never gave him enough credit. They never looked closely enough to see the truth. Not like Bo did. Bo looked so closely he saw straight through people and out the other side.
"How many states you been through?"
You look up, a swell of hope rolls through you before you push it back down, "Only 11."
"Ol' Louisiana bein' lucky num'er 11?"
"Yeah."
"Ain't that something."
The two of you have turned off the main street, following a long gravel road that curves around the town. On your right is a huge building, it's yellowed sign reading House of Wax.
"Funny you ended up here," Bo continues, "we're barely on the map no more."
You nod half heartedly when Bo turns to look at you, still a few paces behind him.
"Since the wax museum shut down, this ain't much of a tourist trap."
"It's nice," you insist, looking around yourself some, "Quaint."
"Yeah, quaint," Bo turns around to check on you and lets out a chuckle at your comment.
You smile back, avoiding his brief gaze.
The pace of Bo's walking slows down as you reach a house, the only one along this road and the largest in town, as far as you can tell.
Bo hops up the porch steps and you hurry after him. He turns the handle and opens the front door. Unlocked. This town must be real quaint, you thought.
You're jolted from your thoughts by Bo's voice once again, "Y'know, why don't you stay a while? It's barely noon and I'm sure you got a long drive ahead, after we get your car fixed."
"Oh," you hesitated at the open door, "Oh, you don't have to do that..."
"You musn't o' been in Louisiana long," he notes, he's unbuttoning a couple more buttons of his work-shirt as he talks, and leaves his cap on the bannister, leaving his hair messy. "You don't know how bad the midday sun gets, you oughta stop for lunch, at least?"
He waves a hand for you to come in, like he's holding a palm out for an animal to sniff before it gets comfortable being petted.
"Only if you're sure, I know I'm not, you know, great company..."
He frowns at this. "You're fine company."
Stepping into the house is a relief. Bo wasn't lying about the weather, and this wasn't even going to be the worst of it.
The house is cold inside, and even with a huge bay window, the living room is draped in shadow. Light spills from the kitchen, which seems to be the only sun-trap in the house.
Bo follows the light and you follow him. The kitchen itself is cluttered, with a sink full of dishes and crumbs on the counter. "Sorry for the mess," Bo says, though he doesn't sound too guilty.
"You really don't have to do this, you know, I'm happy to just pay for that fan belt and be on my way," you try again, though you're starting to doubt you'll ever get a different response.
"Nonsense," Bo replies, pulling three clean plates from a shelf and lining them up on the counter. "Here, look at it this way, won't you give me a lil' company before you leave, and I don't have another living soul to serve for another week or two?"
Weeks? "This place is really that dead?"
"Like you wouldn't believe."
"Well," you ponder, while Bo starts on making three sandwiches for the three plates. "It'd be rude not to stay, just for a little bit, I guess. But, you don't have to be so nice, if you don't want, I get it..."
"Get what?"
Bo thinks he knows what. Knows exactly what. He's seen people like you before, ones who didn't realise what they had because no one had bothered to tell them. Ones who thought they were an extra in a movie instead of the being in the starring role. People like you reminded him of Vincent. People like you reminded him of himself.
"I don't know, I'm just not, y'know... the kind of person that people invite to lunch," you laugh off your comment to cover up how pathetic you feel just saying it.
"I'd invite you to lunch, any day o' the week," Bo remarks, turning back to you with a plate in each hand. He gestures for you to sit and places a sandwich, cut into triangles, in front of you.
The gesture makes you smile. "Thanks, Bo."
"No problem, darlin'."
You supress another smile.
*
After lunch, and with a new fan belt in tow, Bo drives you back down to the station.
"You wanna come in for a second, just to sign on this receipt. You know how it is," Bo holds the passenger door open for you and you follow him, once more, into the gas station.
As you lean over the counter to sign your name where he indicated, you feel him behind you, peering over your shoulder. The warmth of his breath ghosts your hair. He isn't even touching you and you're having to put extra thought into keeping your hand from trembling else you won't be able to write.
When you finish, you turn around, but Bo doesn't move back.
"Is that - Is that all I need to do," you ask, holding the pen out to him.
"Sure is," Bo smiles, leaning one hand against the counter. He's even closer to you now.
Both you and Bo had had some revelations over lunch.
On one hand, you realised that maybe, just maybe, you had a thing for this small town mechanic. He was easy to talk to. He didn't mind leading the conversation. He was funny. He was polite. He was hot. You might just miss him when you get your fan belt fixed and leave him behind in your rear-view mirror.
On the other, far more blood-stained hand, Bo had a realisation of his own. You were lonely. Your face lit up every time he asked you a question. The way you held back when you spoke, even after he asked to hear more. The way you moved like you were in the way and all he wanted to do was shake you, tell you that you deserved everything you wanted.
But, you don't always get what you want. Though that doesn't mean Bo can't do a good deed, now and then.
He moves too quickly for you to react, lips pressing against yours in a soft but knowing kiss.
When he pulls away, you try to stammer, "You - You don't have to, just because you feel sorry for me --"
"Oh," Bo chuckles, his hand coming up to hold your jaw, thumb brushing your skin, "I feel sorry for you, sure, but ain't nothin' to do with how you look."
You don't understand his meaning, and you don't have time to figure it out either, because his lips are back on yours, a deeper kiss this time, and his hand drops to your waist.
He's good at this.
"Please," you mutter, when he finally pulls away again.
"Please?" he teases back, and his hand dips under the waistband of your jeans.
"Please!"
"Oh, darlin', look at you," he coos, stroking your cheek and you lean forward to kiss him again.
Slowly, you can feel him moving you, walking you away from the counter, but you'd be damned to let this end here. No, you wanted it all, even if he did just feel sorry for you.
All of a sudden, the heat of his lips is gone and he's hefting you over his shoulder. You laugh in surprise, until you notice where you're going. He carries you through a doorway and down a flight of stairs. Things are looking decidedly less like "a quickie in a gas station" and more like "you're being taken to some strangers basement".
"Wait, Bo. Bo, where are --" You're cut off when he kicks another door open and you're flung down into a chair.
It feels so medical, the cold metal of the chair and, when you look around, the rows of... tools that line the workbench in the corner. Oh fuck.
"Wait, Bo, Please," you try to struggle, but he's as strong as he looks. He's holding you down as he fastens heavy leather straps around your wrists. "Please, I I'm sorry! What are you - you going to do with me?"
You can feel the wetness of tears as they begin to stream down your face, into your open mouth as you plead.
"C'mon darlin', stop making this hard on yourself. Aren't you happy?"
"What?"
"This is where the pretty ones end up," Bo smiles, his eyes too playful to ever match up with his actions.

WayV Reaction: to you flirting with their younger sibling
Pairing(s): WayV x Reader
Genre: crack, fluff
Warnings: none
Word Count: 2.9k
Author's Notes: Hello anon! I'm sorry it took me so long to get to your request! I really hope I interpreted your request accurately! And thank you! I'm so glad you like my content! (I also want to mention that I used younger brother for all of them because I thought the request said brother until I went back and looked. Then I didn't want to change everything I'd just written so I just went with it. I'm sorry).

Kun:
Shortly after Kun was announced to be joining NCT in 2018, he also found out that his mother was expecting a second child, which, naturally, came as quite a shock. He was already an adult. Had his mother decided on more children when he was younger, a teenager even, he wouldn't have even batted an eye! But his little brother or sister would be 22 years younger. That was just weird.
However, that didn't stop Kun from nervously sitting in the waiting room holding your hand the day his little brother was born, vowing to always protect the sweet little bundle of joy.
It was that promise that led to where you both were now, Kun holding his babbling three year old brother in his arms as the boy waved to his retreating mother.
"I'll pick him up tomorrow morning," she called over her shoulder as the door closed behind her.
"So what do you want to do now?" Kun asked, looking between you and the little boy squirming in his arms.
"I wanna dance with (y/n)!" the little boy declared, wiggling out of Kun's hold and reaching for you.
Laughing, you took hold of the boys hands and led him into the center of the room, sending Kun a wide grin as he played music on his phone.
"It would be an honor to dance with you kind sir," you responded in an overly posh voice, taking his smaller hands in yours and spinning around the living room.
He let out a giggle as you spun him around before picking him up in your arms and swaying to the new, now reasonably slow song.
"You're an even better dancer than your brother!" you cooed.
The boy beamed at you.
"Hey!" Kun argued, biting back a laugh as you turned to look at him.
"You can't go stealing my significant other away from me!" Kun said, playfully glaring at the young boy in his arms.
Said boy, seeming to take his confidence from to much time spent with Ten, leaned up and pressed a kiss to your cheek, smirking at his brother.
"Wait for me to get older!" he said before squirming out of your hold.
"I'll wait forever, my prince," you laughed, placing him on the floor, watching him run over to YangYang, who had just entered the room. The maknae leaning down to scoop the boy up, disappearing back into his own room.
Kun stood up from his place on the couch and placed a kiss to your cheek.
"He really likes you," he hummed, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close.
You just smiled, resting your head on his shoulder as his hips suddenly began to sway to the music still playing, coaxing you to follow his lead as he danced you around the living room.
"I'm a much better dancer," he whispered.
You leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to his lips in response.
Ten
The whole world knew that Ten had a younger sister. She was never hidden away, taking her camera confidence from her older brother as she took the newfound attention that came with her celebrity brother in stride. What the world didn't know, however, was that Ten also had a younger brother, one year younger than his sister. A brother that was extremely shy, choosing to hide behind his older sister rather than face the limelight.
Both had been over to visit the dorm countless times, though Ten's sister could only visit when Yukhei wasn't in the dorm after the large man had gotten slightly drunk and stupidly confessed to finding his ge's sister incredibly hot. His brother, on the other hand, was always welcomed and often found himself visiting once every few months for a week when WayV had a little less packed schedules.
You and Ten had picked the younger boy up from the airport two days prior and he'd been laughing and goofing off with the other members (especially Sicheng, to Ten's surprise). Today, however, the younger boy had been surprising glued to your side, always offering to get you a drink or a snack or share a blanket with you, which only made the older boys grow smirks as they not so subtly teased the boy.
"I think he likes you," Ten muttered, eying the boy retreating to the kitchen to grab a water.
You nodded, leaning against your boyfriend and desperately trying to surpress your giggle, not wanting the boy to feel awkward or bullied.
"I don't like it."
You slapped Ten's chest softly.
"Let him be, it's puppy love!" you cooed.
"Puppy love or whatever. You're mine."
You rolled your eyes at the older boys antics and gave his brother a soft smile upon his return, taking the water he offered you.
"Thank you, sweetheart. You're so nice!" you grinned, reaching up to lightly ruffle the boys hair.
Pink dusted his cheeks and he looked down, but he couldn't had his growing smile.
Ten gently elbowed you in the side and pulled you closer to hiss in your ear.
"Flirt with him again and I'll make sure he hears you screaming my name later," he hissed in your ear.
"Come on Ten! He's your brother for goodness sake! It's not like he's going to ask me out. It's harmless!" you argued back.
Ten let out a grumble and turned back to the television, tugging you closer slightly.
"You're going to be the death of me," he grumbled.
WinWin
The day Sicheng found out that he had a half brother on his father's side, he didn't know how to feel. On one hand, he ecstatic. He'd always wanted a younger brother. On the other, what was he supposed to do with this information. His estranged father had never had any intention on telling him that he had a brother, so why now.
It seemed the answer was easy enough to figure out as the eight year old boy was suddenly dropped off at the dorm after Sicheng had been blindsided to watch the male while his father and his step-mother went on a seven day cruise.
While Kun had promised that it was fine, Sicheng knew the leader would rather do other things than help Sicheng take care of an eight year old on their only week off, so Sicheng had called you to come help, promising that he'd take you out for a fancy dinner if you helped him babysit for the week.
You didn't need promises to spend time with your boyfriend, even if it was babysitting.
When you entered the dorm, the first thing you noticed was Sicheng's younger brother playing game with Kunhang on the living room television, and from the looks of it, the eight year old was killing it.
"I win again!" the little boy declared as Kunhang gaped at the television.
"I- how-" he muttered.
"You must be really good to beat Kunhang!" you piped up, sending the younger male a teasing smile.
To the new voice, the eight year old looked up and the controller dropped from his hands.
"Your hot," he declared matter-of-factly.
Your eyes widened. You certainly hadn't been expected that, but a small laugh bubbled from your lips.
"Your not so bad yourself," you retorted with a wink.
"Are you flirting with my brother?!" Sicheng asked, voice sounding scandalized as he approached the two of you, holding a small cup filled with fruit punch for the young boy.
"How can I not when his looks rival his brothers." you responded, sending a wink to the young boy before pressing a kiss to Sicheng's cheek.
The boy had red rising to his cheeks and he took a sip on punch to distract himself as he awkwardly toed at the floor. Kunhang let out a boisterous laugh from his place on the couch.
"This is so weird and so comically!"
"Bet I can beat you again even with this hot person sitting beside me! They'll give me good luck!" the boy decreed, hoping up onto the couch beside the other member.
"Don't call my signifiant other hot!" Sicheng whined.
You gave Sicheng another peck to the cheek and leaned against him.
"Let him have his fun," you muttered, reaching down to grab Sicheng's hand in yours.
Lucas
Yukhei and his younger brother had always been somewhat close. They spoke on a regular basis and his brother had certainly spent time at the dorms, but he was also a busy person.
Unlike Yukhei, who had given up taking over his fathers company to be an idol, his brother was being groomed by their father to be the next CEO of said company, which meant that the boy didn't come around a whole hell of a lot. Which also played into the reason why he'd never meant his brothers significant other. That is, until you opened the door to the dorm while Yukhei was being scolded by Kun for letting Bella pee in the house again.
"Can I help you?" you asked, eying the tall man.
Right away, you knew this person had to be related to Yukhei in some way. They two were practically identical. This man might just be a little shorter and not quite as stocky.
"I believe it is I who can help YOU, beautiful," he said.
Immediately, your cheeks heated up from the awkwardness. Clearly this man had no clue that you were sleeping with his brother. Or maybe he did and he just didn't care.
"I uh... come in... handsome..." you mumbled back awkwardly, having no clue how one should respond to such a greeting.
"So are you their maid or something? Because if you come work for me, I guarantee I can treat you better."
This guy was shameless!
"Uh... the others are this way... But I'm not a maid so..."
He followed behind you into the dorm and you could practically feel his eyes on your ass. You didn't think you liked Yukhei's brother very much.
"Come on babe, I know you're a shy little mouse, but give me something to work with here! Aren't you at all interested!"
"Well... you are handsome. As handsome as your brother but-"
"My brothers got a girlfriend! If you like him, surely you'll like me! Come on, one date!"
"I-I"
"Yeah her boyfriend doesn't really want her going on a date with her boyfriends little brother," Yukhei said, swooping in and draping an arm around your shoulders.
You felt yourself relax into his side, especially as the male in front of you realized the error of his ways.
"Oh my God! I am so sorry! I don't know why I just assumed you were single! Can we start over!" the male requested, getting on his knees to beg for forgiveness.
Ok, maybe this guy wasn't so bad.
"Get up you idiot. You're acting like you've never met a girl before!"
At that, a loud laugh erupted from your lips, making them both look at you.
"It's really ok! You didn't know! Just don't do it again," you laughed.
Xiaojun
The thought of Dejun having a younger sibling was something that had never crossed his mind, especially when he'd turned 16. He just never considered his parents would want to have more children until his mother informed him that she was, in fact, pregnant once again. Six years later, he didn't get to spend much time with his baby brother, but when he did, he tended to make the most of it. So when his mother offered to let Dejun babysit for the afternoon while she did some shopping, he couldn't have been happier. Especially because you'd finally get to meet the little boy.
When he was dropped off, you were blown away by the cute little boy that you immediately pulled him from Dejun's arms, cuddling him to your side.
"You are the most precious thing I've ever seen!" you cooed.
The boy cuddled against your side and placed a kiss on your cheek, one that had you beaming.
"You're so handsome! When you get older, you're going to have all the heads turning, just like your big brother!"
The boy giggled at that and wrapped his arms around your neck, hugging you tightly.
"Can I date you too when I get older?" he asked.
Dejun scoffed in the back of his throat, but you could see the fond smile on his face.
"Why of course you can! Unless you already have a partner!" you beamed, ruffling the boys hair.
At that, Dejun crossed his arms over his chest and stared at you with a pout.
"I don't wanna share," he whined.
You rolled your eyes at him, letting out a small little laugh as you pressed a kiss to his little brother's forehead and patted his back, sending him off to Kun, who promised to make the younger boy ramen for lunch.
"Are you seriously jealous of your little brother?"
"You shouldn't flirt with other guys," he whined.
You cooed at the male and leaned in close to press a soft kiss against his lips.
"You're the only one for me baby," you promised, laughing as you overheard the younger boy requesting that Kun make you a bowl as well.
"He's getting too attached," Dejun mumbled.
You kissed his lips again and took hold of his hand.
"I'm yours babe, and nothing is going to change that," you promised.
Hendery
Kunhang thought his parents must really like having children. And, to be fair, his childhood had been a pretty happy one. However, he was the youngest of four and the only boy. He was the baby and it showed. He was constantly being doted on by his parents and even his sisters who, at one point, would dress him up in make-up and make him pretend to be their fourth sister.
However, all of that changed when Hendery was 10 and news of his mothers pregnancy reached his unwitting ears. He had been angry. Angry because his youngest sister had told him "horror stories" of what it was like for her when he was born. He wasn't exactly ready. However, when his brother was born, he had a friend. Even if said friend was 10 years younger.
Now, a twelve year old boy sat perched on the couch between Kunhang and Ten, eyes glued to the television as they watched Harry Potter for the thousandth time.
"Does anyone want anything to eat? I'm going to make a sandwich," you called.
When no one responded, you set to the kitchen to put your own sandwich together when a figure suddenly appeared behind you.
"I bet your sandwiches are delicious! Could you make me one?" he asked.
You glanced back to give him a wide grin.
"Sure thing honey bunches! What would you like on it?"
He listed off everything he wanted on the sandwich and you set to work assembling it for him. You sliced the sandwich in half triangle style the way you usually ate your sandwiches and gave him a wide smile.
He sat down at the island and took a large bite, humming a little over-exaggeratedly at the flavor.
"It's so good!" he said.
You laughed and ruffled his hair before opening the fridge and handing him a 12 ounce bottle of coke.
"Only the best for you! Gotta keep those muscles growing if your gonna play spots when you get older!"
"Mom says I'm made for the soccer field! She wants me to try out to be a professional player! But I want to be an idol like Kunhang!"
What he said surprised you. Kunhang hadn't told you his little brother had interest in joining the entertainment industry.
"I'm sure you'd be great at it!" you encouraged.
"Do you think I'd fit in with NCT?" he asked.
"Are you kidding? You'd put them all to shame with your looks and talent! No one could beat you!"
"What are we talking about?" Kunhang asked, moving up behind you and wrapping an around around your waist.
You picked up half of your sandwich off your plate and offered it to him, to which he took a bite straight from your hand.
"He's interested in joining the entertainment industry!" you beamed.
Kunhang looked over at him, eyebrow raised.
"Ok, but stay away from my partner with those good looks and talent that could put us all to shame," he mocked, kissing your temple before plopping down beside you.
YangYang
YangYang was born five minutes earlier than his identical twin brother, which he had kept a secret from the prying eyes of the fans. His brother, while sharing his same facial features and eyes, was very different from YangYang.
His twin was more introverted and, unlike YangYang, had 0 interest becoming an idol. Rather, he wanted to become a veterinarian to go along with his love of animals. So, when YangYang went away to train, his brother was taking medical classes and it just never made sense for either of them to mention each other, specifically because YangYang's twin didn't care much for access media attention.
The members, however, were very aware of YangYang's twin, although they'd found out the hard way when his brother had come to visit and Sicheng had accidentally yelled at him to get his "damn shoes out of the hallway."
It had been hysterical when it was all said and done and his twin had quickly bonded with the older boys, letting them pull him out of his shell to find the energetic boy that liked to compete with YangYang on everything.
While you knew that YangYang had a twin brother, and that they were identical, the thoughts didn't cross your mind as you showed up at the dorm to spend time with YangYang. When Dejun opened the door, he informed you that YangYang was finishing up a shower and would be out soon, directing you to his bedroom.
When you walked in, however, you found "YangYang" sitting on his bed playing a game on his phone. Assuming he'd gotten out of the shower before Dejun had realized, you thought nothing of it and sauntered over to the boy, taking his phone out of his hands and plopping down on his lap.
"I missed you," you said, leaning back against him, letting your head rest against his collar bone.
"I um..." the boy stammered.
You'd never known YangYang to get flustered, but chopped it up to the members being in the dorm.
"What's wrong baby? Cat got your tongue?" you cooed, sending him a mischievous wink as you purposefully wiggled your bum on his lap.
"I-I"
"What the hell is going on?!" a very familiar voice tore through your reverie and your eyes shot up to the door where... YangYang stood, towel wrapped around his waist, another drying his hair.
"YangYang?!" you gaped, jumping off the lap you were sitting on. "But who?!" you turned back to the man on the bed and then it dawned on you.
YangYang had mentioned earlier in the week that you should come by to meet his twin brother. Somehow, that had slipped your mind and now...
"Oh my God!! I am so sorry!" you screeched, voice going up an octave as your cheek flushed a bright red.
The boys shared a look before both burst out laughing, doubling over with hilarity as your cheeks burned.
"This has got to be the best mix up I've ever seen!" the real YangYang cackled, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you against him.

MASTERLIST
---------------------------------------------
You barely slept during the night. You kept waking up what felt like every hour to check if it was time to get up. The bed felt awfully empty and you would give everything right now to be in his arms. Then finally, the clock strikes 9 am and you are up on your feet, the nerves getting the better of you. The hotel room was nice and clean, you didn't like it, it felt too white and too lifeless to you right now.
You looked at yourself in the mirror, glowing but tired eyes staring right back at you. Taking a deep breath you tried to shake the nerves with a silly little body shake, then you smiled at yourself before heading into the bathroom to wash your face.
A knock on the door interrupted you mid-splash and you went to the door with a dripping face. “We’ve arrived!” your best friend Elouise or Eli for short exclaimed and hieved her whole baggage onto your bed. “What do you mean we?” you leaned your head out of the room and into the empty hallway. Just as you were about to close the door, feet pounded on the carpeted floor. “Sorry, sorry! Had to finish the call with hair and makeup.” Tris, your other best friend screamed through the halls, as she frantically came running towards you, phone clutched in one hand while the other held two dresses that flattered behind her.
You looked at her in amusement "Need a glass of water?" You chuckled at her heavy breathing and closed the door behind you.
"Oh yes please"
"Y/N you're so not ready...well lucky for you we are here. So hop hop go shower ma lady." Eli shushed you into the bathroom "and scrub every inch! I'll check if I have to!” You still heard their laughter as you get rid of your clothes and step into the shower. The warm water relaxed your muscles and your nerves immediately.
Several minutes later, now smelling like a goddess and wrapped into a soft white towel, you sat on the bed in your now crowded hotel room. While you were showering your nerves away, your dress, the hairdresser and makeup artist arrived.
“There she is!” greeted the makeup artist “Come sit down, we’ve got everything out and you and I already discussed your look. Are we still okay with it?”
“Yes, Carlos. But make everything as cry proof as possible okay?” you said laughing slightly.
“I also brought you a coffee and a croissant. I know you don’t usually eat something in the mornings but we don’t want you to faint now do we?” Tris held a tablet in front of her with several cups of coffees and something to eat. You took a cup gratefully, shooting her a quick thanks, holding the cup as Carlos started on your face and Melissa, the hairdresser started drying and styling your hair.
“Can I have my phone back?” You said to no one in particular.
“Nope, sorry.”
“Emi! What--It’s my phone!”
“I do know that. And you should know that Tris and I know you very well and you would’ve called or more likely face timed him by now and put a bad omen over the whole day.”
“Yeah. You and Charlie can’t be away from each other for long.” Tris acknowledged and sided with Emi.
“You’re just jealous that I’m in love.” You shot back with a smile and stuck your tongue out at your friends which in return gave you a growl from Carlos and Melissa who needed you to sit still.
After what felt like an eternity you were done and now it was time for your bridesmaids to get ready. They purposefully taped a piece of cloth over all mirrors so could only see yourself when you were 100% finished with getting ready.
Now that you had some time to actually think about today, your mind started to wander. Was Charlie ready by now or were there some complications? Tris did get a call earlier to then just run out of the room and come back 20 minutes later. What suit would he wear? Was he just as nervous as you? Totally unaware of how much time you passed, you were ripped out of your thoughts with a forceful swat on your shoulder.
“Miss Bride? It’s time to get the dress on.” Tris squealed.
You took a look at your best friends who looked absolutely stunning, at some time they got changed into their dresses. Emi smiled at you with a glossed lipped smile, her brown hair up in a bun while little strands of glitter strings framed her face. She wore a turquoise halter dress with some nude heels. Tris wore a bit of a darker turquoise strapless dress, her colourful hair falling straight over her shoulder. Both had simple makeup, a nude smokey eye with eyeliner.
Your eyes started to tear up. “Guys...you look absolutely stunning.” Emi walked over to you and embraced you in a hug. “We look really fudhing good but you’re gonna look even better. Now hop hop get undressed we have to lace up the dress.”
While your friends were working on lacing your dress up, you wondered out loud. “How much do we wanna bet that Owen lost the rings?” You chuckled and then yelled, “That's way too tight!”
“Oh Owen is so gonna lose the rings but we'll be fine. You’re gonna have rings or I'll run and get you some new ones.” Tris reassured you with a smile.
“Can I finally look at myself? I want to see if I look like a bride.” Emi and Tris shared a quick look before agreeing. Emi ripped the cloth away from the closest mirror. An audible gasp was all that was heard, everybody fixated on your reaction to yourself.
“I look like a real ass bride. I- oh my god… I look so good.” You coaxed out, trying not to cry, this got all a bit real too fast.
And you really did look amazing. Your open hair fell over your shoulders and ended right underneath your boob. It had a lot of volume and little glitter braids in it and Melissa had curled them to perfection so they framed your face perfectly. Your makeup was stunning as well, the reddish-brown and glittery smokey eye complementing your skin tone and eye colour. Carlos finished the look with a pinkish nude lipstick. You were glowing.
The cream coloured dress sat perfectly on your figure, the A-line cut highlighting your waist, the flowery lace flowing from the corset top down to your feet. The dress was poofy but not too much. You looked more like Sofie from Mamma Mia and less like Cinderella. You adjusted the straps and smiled at yourself.
“And I’m telling you, Charlie will bawl his eyes out when he sees you.” Emi patted your back and finished lacing up your dress. Tris couldn't contain herself anymore and let out a little sob “I’m sorry. You just look so gorgeous. I can’t believe you're getting married.” You pulled her into a hug.
“We don't have that much time anymore. the photographer should be here in five minutes to take your bridal pictures and pictures with the bridesmaids.”
The photo session went by quickly and you could tell that they turned out amazingly, by the way, Paul, the photographer, smiled at his screen. Megan, Charlie's sister and your other Bridesmaid came in at the last minute, due to the fact that she just flew in in the morning.
Then it was time for the first look. At first, you weren't sure if you should do this or if it would be better if the first look would be at the ceremony itself. You thought it would be funny to send Tris to the first look instead of you. So you, Megan and Emi sat in the hotel room waiting patiently.
The door opened “You two are really made for each other.” Tris came back in with a huge smile on her face. “Why? What happened?” You asked, the nervousness in your voice was evident. “Was he mad?”. She started to laugh “No absolutely not because he had the same idea as you and sent Owen.”
The room erupted in laughter “Oh no he didn't!” “Of course he did”
The next couple of hours flew by so quickly. You got to the venue. Your parents came by to say hello to you and to shed some tears. They also told you that most of the guests have arrived and everybody is waiting excitedly.
Finally, it was time. You nervously cracked your fingers, as you waited for all the guests to take a seat, the closed door in front of you the only thing shielding you from your fiance, your dad standing beside you in a suit.
“Nervous?” he asked you with a slight smile, you could tell that he was trying hard not to cry.
“Very. But I’m telling you if he doesn't cry I'll turn around and we gotta try again.” you joked.
“Oh my dear...he will.” he quickly took a look at his watch and then linked his arm with yours.
“Ready?” you shot him a smile and nodded “As ready as I'll ever be.”
The outside speakers started to play the instrumental version of Cherry Wine by Hozier and the doors opened.
It was mid-May and you and Charlie decided on an Outside wedding. After searching for a great venue you finally found one. It was an old brick house with a small colonnade of bushes in the garden. It was absolutely perfect but you didn't even look at the decorations because as soon as your eyes met his, the world stood still.
He stood at the front of the colonnade where some candles burned beside him. He wore a forest green tuxedo and that dashing smile of his. The closer you got, the more you saw how much he was crying and all you wanted to do is hug him and wipe the tears away. Your cheeks hurt from all the smiling but you couldn't stop, some tears of your own spilling out of the corners of your eyes.
You kissed your dad on the cheek and let him sit down in the front row, your eyes only momentarily leaving Charlies. “Hi, handsome.” You smiled up at him and instinctively used your thumb to wipe away some tears. “Did you cut your hair?” you asked, nodding to his now chin-length hair (think October Charlie) He grabbed your hands in his and kissed your knuckles while slightly nodding his head “You look...just wow,” he whispered so that only you could hear. You just wanted to give him a compliment when the officiant interrupted you.
“Now it's getting serious.” you said while he said “No backing out.” with a wink.
“The couple standing in front of me met at the young age of 18 in the middle of the street. Y/N bumped into Charlie here and practically fell for him right there and then. She shot him a quick sorry and went her way but the universe knew that these two needed to be together so the next day he bumped into her, totally accidental of course.” the crowd laughed and you and Charlie beamed at each other. “Sadly for Y/N that day she carried an expensive Cake that flew to the other side of the pavement. Charlie felt so bad that he promptly invited her to the next bakery where they got a cup of coffee and a new cake. Today we’re gathered here today to celebrate that love.”
“I believe that the two of you wrote your own vows? Y/N would you like to start?” You nodded and turned around to take a piece of paper from Emi who stood behind you, already missing the warmth of his hands in yours.
“Charlie, you know I’m not very good with words so I really struggled to write this, but here we are standing in front of your family and friends to share our love. I knew I loved you…” your voice wavered and you let out a sob “sorry...I knew I loved you in the first week that we’ve met. We sat on a bench in the little park right around the corner from where we met. You were late and totally out of breath when you arrived. You apologized like crazy but I didn't care, you don't know this but I had a really shitty day that day and just seeing you made it all worth it. That smile of yours knocked me off my feet completely.
From that day on I only loved you more and more. I love the way you try to wake up every day with a smile. The way you always seem to have so much energy and that you try to share that energy and love with the whole world. I love waking up in your arms because they feel like home and I miss you like crazy when I don't see you for a day.
I never really believed in love at first sight before I met you and I’m so glad that you ruined my cake. I promise to try and make you smile at least twice a day, to listen and care for you, to dance with you in the kitchen while our pizza is in the oven. I also promise to try your questionable food combinations at least once every time.
I can’t promise you that we won't fight or that we won't have our ups and downs but I will promise that we’ll work it out, that we’re not going to bed with grudges, to talk about our problems and thoughts and to always make up. I promise to be your partner in crime and to take all the blame if we ever get caught and lastly, and most importantly...
I promise to love you more and more until my heart stops beating, even when the day comes that we're old and grey, I promise to always see you with the same eyes and the same heart that I see you with at this exact moment.” You took a deep breath to try and stop your sobbing. Now it was Charlie's turn to wipe away some tears.
“Baby, don’t cry your makeup will get ruined.” he joked and you let out a small laugh. “Charlie, I believe now it's your turn to speak your vow.”
He took a shaky breath in before taking a folded piece of paper from the inside of his tuxedo pocket. “I want to start off with a simple I love you. I love the way you still give me butterflies every time I see you. I love the way you care not only for me but for everyone around you. I love the way you're patient with me. I love how much you're willing to try new things with me to make me happy because you really didn't like swimming with sharks. I admire how hard you work to help others and above all, I love how you love me.
It's in the way you look at me with such patience and compassion, the way you listen to me even if I'm rambling on, the way you push me to try harder even when I feel like I've done enough. You love me without judgment and chose to see the beauty in my flaws. Today, I want to make promises to you that I will always keep. I promise to love you back forever and harder each day. I promise never to get angry at you for making honest mistakes, even if I asked you to turn the lights off every night for the past week...
I promise to never stop holding your hand or give you a goodbye kiss. I promise to walk through life, as your biggest fan, your shoulder to lean on, and your best friend and I vow to stay silly, to never take ourselves too seriously, and stay just immature enough for cake and breakfast for dinner.
You're my soldier, my lover and above all, my best friend and I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Both of you were grinning and crying like idiots. “Now can we have the rings please?” the officiant asked the crowd and a teary-eyed Owen stepped forward the rings clutched in his hands.
“Thank you.” the officiant gave each of you a ring. “Do you Y/N Y/L/ want to take this man as your husband in sickness and in health?”
“I do.” You smiled up at Charlie and slid the ring on his left ring finger. “Oh good it fits,” you murmured and made him chuckle.
“And do you Charlie Gillespie want to take this woman as your wife in sickness and in health?”
“I do.” He grinned widely and also slid the ring on your left hand.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. Charlie, you may kiss the bride.” Your lips locked with his and you couldn't be happier. Your hands found their way into his hair while his hands gripped your waist. His lips were soft and warm and you missed them dearly in the night the two of you were apart. The crowd cheered when he dipped you.
“I present to you for the first time Mr and Mrs Gillespie!”

roommate masterlist
come to my asks to be a part of my taglist! just let me know what kinds of fics/ what fandom/ what characters/ etc you want to be tagged in! Requests are open!!
------------------------------
(Y/N POV)
Denki and I have officially become best friends- we even send stupid memes and videos to each other at all hours. Time zones are weird but the way he keeps me up at night makes me think I'll be fine.
"I cant believe you wouldn't let me hide in a suitcase and join," Kendra folded her arms trying to joke to lighten the mood.
"You'd be the worst carry-on ever," I laughed.
"I would bring snacks and wouldn't bother anyone," She laughed back.
"I'm gonna miss you so much, Kenny," I hugged her, fighting tears.
"I'm gonna miss you, too, stupid. We have to work out a facetime schedule," we pulled away but she held my hands. "And if Denki ends up flirting with you in person too, you have to tell me!"
"Oh shut up!" I dropped her hands, fixing my hair, attempting to distract from my blush. "I cant have a crush on my ROOMMATE."
"Too bad you already do then," she folds her arms.
The overhead speaker announces that its last call for boarding my flight, and we both started crying.
"I love you so much, call me when you land," Kendra says, squeezing me again.
"I will, I love you so much don't be stupid without me," I squeezed back.
We disconnected and I waved one last time before giving the attendant my ticket.
-post flight-
I got my luggage and made my way to the correct gate to meet Denki at. The nervousness settled in my stomach and I wanted to hurl.
What if he hates me? What if this was a joke? A prank? What if he doesn't show? What if I'm stranded here? I don't have money for a ticket back. God, what would I do if-
My thoughts were interrupted.
"Y/n?!"
I turned around and met eyes with Denki.
Its not fake. Oh my god. This is happening. Should I be more or less anxious-
"Hi!" He yelled, taking my luggage from me, setting it next to us, and hugging me.
"Its so fucking nice to see you in person!" He said with happiness lacing his words.
"You too! Youre real! Thank god!" I laughed, pulling away.
"My thoughts exactly," he laughed. "Lets go get ya settled in!" He took some of my bags towards the exit and I joined.
"Once youre settled we can tour the town, oh! You can meet Sero and Kirishima and- OH MY GOSH you HAVE to try this ice cream shop in- I'm talking too much aren't I?" He stopped himself. But before I could assure him he wasn't, he started again, making me giggle.
"We gotta take an Uber, that's ok, right?"
"Yeah of course!"
--post uber ride--
"Here we are, our humble abode!" Denki exclaimed, standing in front of the building with his arms spread open, making me laugh.
Once we got all my stuff in my new room, I decided to lay on the floor in the middle of the bed-less space, to which Denki laughed and joined me.
"Denki?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't have a bed."
"Oh fuck you aren't wrong."
"I can get one tomorrow and sleep on the couch tonight."
"HA! Funny. We at least need an air mattress. For me of course," he turned on his side, facing me. "You-" he poked my nose lightly, making me go cross eyed "- can sleep in my bed."
"No nononono I am NOT taking your bed, Denki!" I exclaimed, turning to him.
"Yes you are! Once you lay on it one time, you gonna realize its the comfiest bed ever and you'll wanna be in it all the time. Now- I need an air mattress."
I would be lying if I said that him talking about me in his bed didn’t make my heart flutter. But that doesn’t stop me from arguing.
"NO!"
"YES"
"NO"
"Y E S"
"What are you doing?"
"Calling Kirishima, he lives a few floors up, he has an air mattress."
"Oh, for me, how kind!" I hopped up to get pajamas out of a suitcase.
"Hey Kiri! Yeah can I snag ya air bed for tonight? Yeah we forgot about her not having a bed. Yeah I'm sleeping on it-"
"NO HE ISNT!" I yelled in the general direction of the phone.
"Yes I AM. Ok ill be up soon. Thankssss." He hung up, a smug grin on his face.
"Asshole."
"Uzai would be a better way to put it here, babes.” He smirked.
"Whatever, I'm changing," I said, walking towards my bedroom door, smiling.
"Don't change I like you just the way you are!" Kaminari yelled as I walked into the bathroom, knowing I just meant changing my clothes.
"Ill be a whole new person when I'm done in here!" I yelled back, shutting the door and laughing.
(Denki POV)
I laughed at her last comment, really happy with picking her to move in with me.
I stand up and glance around at all the baggage. I could help her and unpack a few things, but I don't want to be nosy or invade her privacy.
There was one suitcase open, though.
Must be the one she got pajamas out of.
A glance wouldn't hurt.
I looked back to the door and heard the sink running, indicating shes washing her face, most likely.
I walk over to it and kneel on the floor to get a better look. JUST looking at the surface. Swear it.
Ok that was a lie.
But theres something shiny!
I lift up the shiny object and see that its a charm bracelet.
One charm is the first letter of her name. Then a heart. Then a tennis ball. Then a rose. Then a rabbit. Then a book. Then a Fruits Basket charm. Then a camera. Huh. Must be things she hold close to her.
Putting the bracelet back, I almost turn away from the suitcase, but see a card.
Its pink with hearts on it.
"Y/n! We're gonna miss you loads! Call often, stay safe, and never forget where you came from. Stay bright and charm everyone. Youll do amazing."
Then there was children's scribbling, calling her auntie, and saying miss u.
It was signed by so many people. She really is loved, huh.
I scored big time on such a good friend.
A smile on my face, I heard the sink shut off, and put the card back, scrambling back to my spot on the floor, getting on my phone totally relaxed and natural and not looking panicked AT ALL.
Ok I looked suspicious but she didn't say anything when she walked in.
"I'm a changed woman."
"As long as you're still funny, I can deal."
"What if I became a serial killer?"
"Are you still funny?"
"Well yes."
"Fine by me!"
We both laughed and I notice how adorable she looked in a big t-shirt and pajama shorts. Picturing how she would look in my t-shirt, I wanna scoop her up and take her-
"I'm starving!" she interrupted my thoughts, nudging my arm.
"Want to order pizza?"
"Hell yes!"
I'm never gonna get over her accent.

"Doppelganger" *Part 18*
Alright I went back and forth with this one, I even had a whole other idea where to take this, but I ended up here. And you know to be honest I think it ended up working out because it really does explain a LOT. I just did it inadvertently.
Also I hate to ask this but if you enjoy my stuff can you PLEASE reblog it and not just like it? It really helps me out more because more people see it, liking it doesn't really do anything.
I love you all!!!

[OMG I LOVE HIS FACE SO MUCH. I don't wanna give any spoilers but watch it when you read the line that starts: "I don't know what else to do--" . Wait, can you tell it's a face he's making like, he's about to cry because he doesn't know what you expect him to do because that's the context of the gif. It's when Alex is like I didn't do shit blah blah blah and he's like "It's all gonna come out Alex, I don't know how else to help you if you're just gonna be this way! Kinda like Cest La Vie, ya know? Did I overexplain it?]
--------------------------
The next few days consisted of a lot of cuddling and binging, you two in your own little bubble. Rafael didn’t have any big cases at the moment, so he was able to do most of his paperwork and things from home. After a long discussion, you decided that you were going to take the rest of the semester off; at least until things cooled down, people forgot about the whole ‘Nevada’ debacle, and wouldn’t hound you anymore. You were enjoying your bubble when Rafael just had to pop it.
You were in the middle of binging some courtroom drama [DUN DUN] when he turned to you and said:
“...Baby, remember when you said you’d talk to someone…?”
There it was. The other shoe dropped. The music had come, you had to face it.
“I um, yeah…” You looked down and played with the string on Rafael’s HARVARD hoodie you were currently wearing.
“Well I found numbers of some pretty good psychiatrists that deal with PTSD and--”
“Psychiatrists?!” You suddenly sat upright. “Y-You want me to go to a shrink?”
“Well, I thought that’s what--”
“I thought you just wanted me to talk to one of your-- squad, people,” You were starting to panic. You didn’t want some stranger knowing your business; how would you even begin to explain the situation?!
“I mean, if that’s what you want--”
“That’s what I want,” You cut him off. “As long as it’s not Olivia,”
“Okay, whatever you need baby,” He kissed the top of your head.
-----
That next week you had agreed to sit down and talk with Sonny Carisi. Rafael was stunned when you asked to talk to a guy, but you said it made you feel more comfortable for whatever reason. He was seriously hesitant for some reason, but then agreed. The conversation went like this:
“What are you worried I'll latch on to him, fall in love with him like people do with their mentors?” You teased.
“Ha ha….” He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He didn’t find it amusing at all.
“....Baby I was just kidding,” You put a hand to his chest. “That takes months-- or y’know, a glance at a photo in a temp office,” You giggled, thinking about how you met and fell in love.
“Yeah no I know,” He gave you a very weird smile. “Just um, y’know don’t get into too much detail about us, okay? Just stick to the Nevada thing,”
“...Um, okay…?” You looked at him curiously.
“I just don’t want my co-workers knowing our personal stuff, carino,” He assured you. Well that made sense.
----
So here you were, sitting in an interrogation room with Sonny Carisi. He looked about as uncomfortable as you felt. Though you couldn’t understand why he would be worried, you were the one ‘on trial’ here.
“So um, Miss Y/L/N,” He cleared his throat.
“Y/F/N is fine, Mr. Carisi,”
“Sonny, please,” He nodded. “So, Y/N-- I uh, so...did you wanna talk about anything?”
“....I mean, you’re the SVU detective here Sonny. Don’t you have a list of questions you have to ask me?”
“I mean, we already know most of it. You were kidnapped by a guy who looked like Barba, you had sex with him a lot--”
“Excuse me?” You cut him off. “Is that what your little paper says? ‘I had sex with him a lot’? I was assaulted, multiple times,”
“Right,” He nodded nervously. “Yeah no, of course I’m sorry that’s what I meant,”
“...Did Olivia write this?” You narrowed your eyes.
“Excuse me?”
“Did Olivia write this report?” You repeated.
“Why would you ask that?” He asked you nervously.
“Because it doesn’t exactly sound like I’m the victim in that report,” You crossed your arms. “It sounds like someone who has a personal bias towards my fiancé, who thinks that this was my fault. That I should’ve known the difference between him and some criminal. Maybe someone who thinks they would’ve known better if they were in the situation. Maybe someone who thinks he should be with someone who knows them like they do,”
“....That’s a lot of assumption on your part, Y/N,” Sonny turned the paper upwards while he dismissed your conspiracy theory.
“...Is it?” You narrowed your eyes. “Let me see it,”
“Y’know these things are private information for the NYPD Y/N, and--” Before he could finish, you swiped the paper from him. You noticed his face go white, he stopped talking. Jesus, did everyone want to protect precious Olivia? You scanned the paper, your eyes went wide when you saw who filled it out.
“....You filled this out,” You said softly, looking at him. He was looking at the floor. “Y-You, filled this out Mr. Carisi,”
“Sonny--” He said in a shaky voice.
“Oh ok, SONNY,” You tossed the paper at him. “You--You don’t even know me. Do you? Have we met before? Did I offend you in some past life?”
“No, no of course not--”
“.....Or have I offended you by dating your mentor--oh my god, your mentor,” You suddenly remembered the conversation you had with Rafael a few days before.
“I...I have to go,” You suddenly stood up and walked out of the room briskly, Sonny trailed behind you. Rafael had been waiting in the squad room to take you home after you were done, you stomped across the room to him.
“Hey, baby done so soon--? What’s wrong?” He looked at you with concern.
“....Were you screwing Carisi?” you growled.
“Excuse me?” He asked in a panicked tone.
“WERE YOU FUCKING YOUR MENTEE BEFORE ME,” You practically screamed, causing the whole precinct to stop and stare. Rafael looked around the room horrified, then glanced at Sonny who had an apologetic look on his face. “He--”
“Oh no no no, don’t blame this on him,” You stood in front of his eyeline to Sonny. “...Is that what you do, Rafael? Y-You seduce your interns and sleep with them? W-Was I just a tick on the wall?”
“NO,” He shook his head and took your hand. “Can we-- Can we do this outside, please?”
“Why? Because you don’t want everyone to know ‘our’ personal life, or ‘yours’?” You huffed as you skulked out of the building.
“Barba I’m sorry, she just--” Sonny tried to explain.
“We are not done with this, Carisi,” Rafael growled at him before he ran after you.
-----
He caught you outside the precinct, breathing heavily trying not to have a panic attack.
“What is wrong with you?” Rafael asked you, making you stop altogether.
“A-Are you serious?” You half laughed in disbelief. “You send me into the lion’s den without any warning, and then I just get to find out that I’m just one of the many--”
“Oh knock it off, Y/N,” He stopped you. “You know that’s not true,”
“It’s not? Then what the fuck was that?”
“Okay,” He sighed. “Okay fine maybe I should have-- insist on you talking to someone else,”
“....You think THAT’S the problem here?”
“Look Y/N. Carisi and I...we... we got drunk a few times, and we-- y’know,” He shrugged uncomfortably.
“Oh God…” You wouldn’t throw up on the sidewalk, you told yourself.
“And he caught feelings from it! I can’t control how he feels!” He gestured towards the building.
“...So does that mean that you ‘y’know’ with Olivia a few times, and SHE ‘caught feelings’ from it? Because I distinctly remember you telling me that nothing ever happened between you two,”
“....Under your spell,” He mumbled.
“Excuse me?” You almost fell over.
“I--” He looked around nervously. “I said that, under your spell. You think that when I was ‘in love’ with you I was going to tell you that I fucked the woman you were threatened by?”
“...Did....did you just use quotes? Did you just air quote you being in love with me?”
“Well I wasn’t exactly under my own free will now was I?” He snapped.
“I can’t...I can’t believe you’re using that against me,” You looked to the side with a dry laugh, refusing to cry.
“Look I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to--” He tried to go for your hand, but you weren’t having it. “Look my point was, you and I-- we’re not the same. Our relationship isn’t the same as them--”
“No, it’s not. Because you slept with them WILLINGLY, right? And I just tricked you into it? Like Nevada did with me? Because we’re the same?”
“Alright now you’re just--” He rolled his eyes.
“What? What am I JUST--?” You crossed your arms, upset he wasn’t taking this seriously.
“I thought we were doing all of this to get past this, Y/N,” He sighed in frustration.
“So did I!” You stomped your foot, tears choking your throat. “But--But, what if we can’t? This whole time, this WHOLE time. You--”
“Y/N baby stop--” He tried putting his hand on your shoulder but you backed away.
“You KNEW how bad I felt about doing that to you! You told me that, that I just ‘brought out your real feelings’, but….but that’s not true, is it?” You paced while talking and then paused when you asked the question.
“Yes it is! I mean, mostly….” He added the last part with a mumble.
“Mostly?” Your blood ran cold.
“I mean I thought you were attractive, but I didn’t know anything about you. And--And you didn’t know anything about me, Y/N. You weren’t in love with me either, you had a crush on me. But that day we spent together, it really did make me fall in love with you! After I remembered how I felt, I wanted to keep feeling that way all the time! I wanted to be with you, I knew we were meant to be together after that--”
“Oh my god--” You laughed again, putting your hands over your head. “This is insane. This is...this is insane,”
“Baby look when you think about it the whole thing is insane. But we’re here--”
“No, you’re right Rafael,” You put your hands in between you, preventing him from coming closer. “We are insane. But I thought it was the ‘only in the movies kind of love’ insane. But apparently, it’s just an insane mental institution insane,” You started to walk away but he ran in front of you.
“No. Uh Uh. You’re not walking away from this. Not again, not ever again,”
“What are you gonna hold me hostage now? Like I did with your feelings?” You rolled your eyes, but then it hit you. That was your entire problem. That’s what this all boiled down to. This is what it’s ALWAYS been about.
“...That’s it,” You whispered.
“...What is?” He looked at you curiously.
“...We started this on a lie, I started us on a lie,”
“Wha--- no, no you--” He shook his head.
“I did!” You finally let tears fall. “You just said it yourself, I made you feel those things. You--- you didn’t feel anything more for me than Olivia or Carisi! You just wanted to sleep with me! But I--I made you have romantic feelings for me. And-- And ever since that day, that magical perfect day when I accepted that it wasn’t real, I was right!”
“No, no--” He tried to protest.
“YES, Rafael! And-- and ever since then, ever since you, we-- I’ve always had it in the back of my mind that you’re STILL under that influence! That-- that one day you’re going to realize ‘oh hey you know what I actually don’t give a shit about you, my bad!’,” You began pacing, thinking out loud as it all came to the surface.
“And--And, I just still have it in my mind that I’m not good enough for you, I’ll NEVER be good enough for you! And-- these things just keep happening, that are telling me I’M RIGHT. I couldn’t tell you apart from Nevada, I did things with him knowing it hurt you, I did DRUGS even though on some level I knew it would hurt you, and what it all boils down to is I’ve kept you hostage in this relationship!”
“NO, you have not,” Rafael took you by the shoulders. “I get why you feel like this, Y/N baby I really do. And-- And I’m sorry I wasn’t upfront about Sonny and Olivia but I knew you are already so insecure about our relationship--”
“FOR GOOD REASON!!!”
“NO! NOT for good reason!” He tried not to yell as not to cause a scene but he needed you to hear him.
“Look maybe we-- we started out unconventionally. But that was MONTHS ago, baby. Have I-- have I not shown you time and time again, how much I really do love you? I--I made a fucking flash mob for you, do you know how long that took? How much self esteem did I have to suck it up to perform in front of people again? But I did it for you,” He started to cry.
“I risked my life for you so many times when Nevada had you. I could have just let him keep you. Especially after--” He stopped, quickly noting that bringing that up again was only going to take three steps back.
“I--I dropped everything to stay home and protect you! Do those things not make you feel loved? Do you think that all of that is...is fabricated?” He was the one crying and laughing in disbelief now.
“I don’t--- I don’t know what else to do to prove to you that I love you of my own free will. TELL ME what I can do to prove that to you, and I’ll do it! What is going to prove to you that I won’t leave you, that I won’t suddenly wake up one day and realize I was under some spell all along? Tell me!” He begged you, tears rolling down his cheeks.
“....Marry me,” You finally answered softly.
“....What?” He looked at you quizzically. “Baby I already proposed--”
“Yeah but that’s not definite, Rafael,” You held up your bare hand. “Look! It’s not even real right now!”
“A piece of jewelry doesn’t--”
“It does to me!” You took his hands. “Look, I’m--I’m sorry I am the way that I am, but I can’t change it. I--I need physical proof. I know that you’ve done all of this heroic and crazy stuff for me, but-- but my stupid brain won’t accept that! I need something, something physical. Actual proof that I can look at, to know I’m safe. To know you’re going to stay with me,”
“....Okay,” He nodded, looking down at your hand while rubbing your ring finger.
“Okay?” You asked warily. “You’re just going to accept that?”
“....I’ve put up with all of your other craziness up to this point, have I not?” He smirked.
“Hey that’s not--” You started to argue but he gave you a look. “Alright fine, yes you have,”
“Okay,” He looked up at you with a smile. “I’ll marry you. I’ll marry you right now, we can go into the chapel in the back and--” He started leading you back to the station.
“Wha, no no no,” You cried and laughed, wiping the tears from your face. “Okay I didn’t mean this second. Just...soon,”
“Soon?” He looked at you curiously.
“Really soon?” You bit your lip.
“Like, tomorrow soon?”
“Like….I don’t know, maybe a month? Two? I kind of want a reasonably cute wedding,”
“Not a huge expensive one….”
“Rafael how many people do I know that would come to my wedding? You and Chloe. That’s it. And Chloe will be standing next to me,”
“You have Maria,”
“Maria’s your...mom?”
“Second mom,” He chuckled. “But she could sit on your side. With her husband. And if you go inside and make nice with the rest of the squad, they can sit on your side,”
“...Make nice with the people I just had a meltdown in front of?” You raised an eyebrow.
“...They’ve seen worse, trust me,” He teased.
“...Okay but after that, can we--?” You raised your hand, and he read your mind.
“I’ll call Tiffany's and tell them we’ll be stopping by,” He shook his head with another laugh.
“...Really? Fancy,” You grinned.
“You’re easy to please,” He shook his head with a laugh as you walked back into the station hand in hand.

Walls Start Falling
“(Y/N), that was insane,” Monica says as you have your lunch break. “Billy never did that. He never cared enough.”
You're still a mess, a confusing, flustered mess. But you made up your mind. Yesterday's events were madness. But it was just Billy being nice, you concluded. Another reason for you to be thankful and to give friendship a chance. Nothing else. “Yeah, it was nice of him to do that.” You try to keep it cool, your voice steady.
“Weren't you even a little bit... Excited about that?” She lowers her voice, even though there's nobody else around.
“Well...” Lying is not your thing, so you just have to tune it down a bit. “I was surprised. Perplexed and... I don't know. It felt good to have someone stand up for me.” You remember how cute it was when Christopher defended Monica, and see it happening to you a while after did send chills down your spine. But there's no reason for you to believe it was anything else. Billy might think he likes you, but he doesn't know you enough yet. That reminds you of another thing you have to tell Mon. “He... Billy told me something weird yesterday.” Mumbling, you drum your fingers on the table.
“What?”
“That he... That he likes me.” It only takes four words to make Monica stand up abruptly as if bit by a snake.
“Why in the hell didn't you tell me that the moment you set foot in this pool?”
You can't help but giggle. “Because it's not a big deal. You can't just decide you like someone you don't even know.” Shrugging your shoulders, you play with your food.
“Look. Something happened to Billy in senior year.” She starts. “He was in this awful car accident and if it wasn't for his sister and her friends, he'd be dead. After that he... Changed. Not completely, but he stopped treating his sister like shit.” It makes you curious. You haven't seen any scars on Billy, and nobody told you about any kind of accident. Maybe you could ask him about it sometime.
“And what does it has to do with anything?”
“It means that he changed then so he can change now.” It has some physiological background she's not explaining. “Just... You can be a normal girl around me, ok? We're friends, we're supposed to tell each other this kind of things.”
It's not that you don't want to open up, you just don't want to think about Billy all the time. But you guess it's ok. You feel like you can trust Monica, even about things you're a little scared about. “I know. But tell you what exactly?” You ask, taking a sip from your lemonade.
Her lips break into a smile. “Like the fact that you find Billy hot.” You almost choke, clearing your throat as you put the glass down. “You said that yourself. Yesterday when you shoved into David's face that he's envious of Billy because he's way hotter.”
“Billy is... Cute.” That's a good word, you decide. It's kind, it's not a lie, and it sounds casual.
“Have you ever seen him shirtless?”
“Yes. We're both lifeguards on Hawkins Community Pool and it's Summer, so yes.” Mon rolls her eyes at you sarcastic tone, but you just smile at her.
“Ok. But have you stopped to actually look?”
“Monica, I won't stare at the guy.”
“Why not? He stares at you.”
“It's different.” You snap.
“How so?”
You don't know how to answer. You don't even know exactly what's going on with you, or with Billy, or with this whole town. It doesn't matter how hard you think, you can't come up with a satisfactory answer, one that will be enough for your brain to stop forming questions. Monica is restless, and sometimes you catch yourself wishing she won't call. And she doesn't even know that Billy kissed you in the cheek. If you tell her that, you'll never hear the end of it. “I don't–” The door is open suddenly and it makes you shut up immediately. And the person who comes in makes you nervously move in your chair, sitting up straight.
“Were you talking about me?” Billy asks with a smirk.
“No.” You burst out, ready to stand up and head back to your chair. But Monica moves first, giving you such a hard stare that it makes you sit back down.
“Gotta go.” She says, storming out of the cafeteria.
Billy sits where Monica was, looking at you, as usual. “You were talking about me, weren't you?”
“No,” you repeat, cursing yourself for lying. “My lunch break will be over in-” you take a quick look at the clock above the fridge. “-three minutes. So I gotta go too.”
“Tomorrow is our day off. What are you up to?” He says when you reach the door.
You do have somewhere to be, thank God. “Mon invited me for a trail in the woods. With her crew...” You lock eyes with him again, and somehow, even though the distance, you feel the weight. It's not a bad kind of weight... It's different. It's gentle. “Wanna come?” It comes out faster than you can process it, so you look down, not sure if you want him to say yes or no.
“Yeah.”
You know he's smiling, and it has an effect on you. “We'll meet up at Benny's at nine. Don't be late or we'll leave without you.”
“I'll be there.” You listen as you walk away, thankful for the forty-five minutes you'll have on your chair without Billy being around.
•••
The sun is casting a beautiful golden light. It will be another hot day, and the fact that you'll be walking all morning isn't going to help. So you picked a light blue shirt with thin straps, short jeans, and comfortable white sneakers. You're leaning against Monica's car, parked in front of Benny's Burgers, doing a side french braid on your hair as you wait for the guys to get here. There's a fresh, morning wind blowing, and you breathe in the soft smell of coffee coming from Benny's. You didn't tell anyone about inviting Billy, so, if he doesn't show up, you won't have anyone talking about it.
Minutes later, the rest of Monica's crew gets here, five minutes before nine. You feel a little relieved that Billy won't come, actually. You've been trying to understand why the guy is making you so nervous when you're set to pursue nothing but a good friendship. Being confused is tiring. “Well, let's go,” Jason exclaims, and immediately, everyone starts getting in the cars. You're moving to sit on the passenger seat of Monica's car when Christopher calls shotgun. Great.
You're about to get into the back seat when you hear a car approaching, dangerously fast judging by the loud noise, and then it stops. You stand up straight, feeling your stomach burning when you see it's Billy's Camaro. “What the hell,” Mon mutters, giving you a glance.
Ignore her, you tell yourself. “Did you invite him?” Jason asks. “Or is he just crashing the party again?”
“I invited him. Hope it's not a problem.” Jason shakes his head no before getting into the car. But not before giving you a smirk. Well, you invited him, so you have to go and say hi. With your stupid heart beating faster, you walk over his car, offering a small smile when he steps out, standing by the door. “Hey. You're almost late.”
“Almost. Get in.”
“I'm going in Mon's car.” You gesture at where the two cars are parked. You get the feeling that you'll just end up in the same talk as last time, so you give up. “Just because I'm literally your only friend here.” Rolling your eyes, you gesture for the guys to go as you walk around the car to get to the passenger seat.
Billy follows the party until they stop randomly by the road. Everyone starts moving, getting their backpacks to get into the woods. You get yours from Monica's car, putting in on your back.
“Hey,” Billy calls, gesturing for you to get over his car with his index finger.
“What?”
He doesn't say anything as he takes the water bottle and snacks from your bag, putting in on his backpack. You watch, arms crossed, wondering why in the hell he's doing it without even asking if he could. Once your stuff is packed with his, he throws your empty bag on the passenger seat.
“Give me that,” you demand, reaching out your hand. “I'll carry through half of the way and you carry on the other half.” You raise an eyebrow at his smug smile as he hands you the pack. The moment he releases it, the weight pulls your arm down, and you have to push it back up before it hits the ground. “Damn, what do you have in here?” Suddenly you don't wanna carry this thing anymore. You should've just played along.
“Don't worry, princess, I can carry it.”
Shit. That name again.
“Fine.” You give him the bag, moving closer to the others.
“For the sake of our health, we're not going too far today,” Christopher announces, leading the way.
He keeps saying things, but you're not listening. You have never been in the woods, and you're too busy looking around, taking it in. Diane was lucky to have grown up in such a place, so beautifully calm, close to nature, being able to just run a few miles and be among the trees. You easily fall back, walking slightly slower than the party, mesmerized.
“It looks like you're enjoying it,” Billy says, and you notice he's purposely keeping your pace. But what else would he do? You're the only one he talks to in this group.
“It's beautiful. Living so close to the woods... It's just amazing. I can't believe I actually live here.” You're smiling like an idiot now, your eyes moving from the trees up to the blue sky. “What about you? Do you like living here?”
“Not in the beginning, but I got used to it, I guess.”
“I'm from New York, so you get the difference.” Shrugging your shoulders, you see something through the corner of your eye. It's small, and it jumps from a tree to the ground, running away. “A squirrel!” You exclaim, gesturing at a tree on our left. “I saw a squirrel.” Giving one last look at the group, you start moving to where you saw it going to.
“Wait up,” Billy calls since you're trying to walk as fast as you can without tripping on any branches.
You scan the woods, looking for any sign of the small animal, but you don't find anything. There's a slight slope on the way, so you use a fallen tree as a support as you move through it. But a rock moves under your foot, making you slip and fall on your butt. A low whine escapes your mouth when you feel a sting on your calf as you slide down the rest of the slope.
“Hey.” Billy is suddenly before you, you don't even know how he got here so fast. He pulls you up, holding your arms. You're laughing though, and the confused expression on his face doesn't help much. “You ok?”
“Yeah, I'm alright.” You look up, noticing how close Billy is. His blue eyes are like the ocean, beautiful, calming, and peaceful. Not the kind of eyes you'd expect from someone with the reputation he has. Clearing your throat, you step back, dusting off your clothes. “The squirrel won this round, I guess.” You can feel his stare as you look down.
“There's a cut on your calf.” He gets on one knee, taking your left leg by the ankle.
“What are you doing?” You mutter when you almost fall for the sudden loss of balance. You use Billy's shoulder to keep yourself steady. You feel his thumb on your skin, watching as he carefully removes the blood from the wound to take a better look.
“It's just a small cut. You'll survive.” He says as he stands up, those blue, piercing eyes on you again.
That was... Weird. To say the least. You just don't get why it made you so nervous. You really need some time away from Billy to think and think very carefully, to get things figured out. “We should get going or we'll get left behind.”
“As you wish.” He gestures for you to move, and that's what you do. But when you're about to climb up the slope, Billy comes to stay near you, a hand on your side when you use the fallen tree to pull yourself up. You just decided you don't like him touching you. If that's what makes you nervous, you have to avoid it.
But how are you supposed to be friends with someone you can't touch? Friends hug all the time... Damn it, why does it have to be so confusing? You blame Billy for this, even though this is not really his fault. Or is it?
“Hey. Monica told me something about a car accident. In senior year.” You decide to ask, and hopefully get a nice conversation that will keep you from getting nervous.
“Yeah. I was going on a date when... I hit a deer and crashed the car.” By how dark his voice gets, you can tell those aren't pleasant memories.
“Was it bad?” You move to walk closer to him as if it would offer any kind of comfort.
“Very.” He confirms. “If it wasn't for my dipshit sister and her stupid friends I'd be dead.” Despite the mean names, he flashes a small, quick smile. “Things changed from that day on. I couldn't hate her anymore.”
“And why did you hate her before?”
“Everyone says I'm an asshole but I was an even worse asshole before. But that day, it just... Clicked. After years of having me treating her like trash, she still went through a lot of trouble to save my life.” He lowers his voice, barely a whisper now. “And I'm not sure I was worth saving back then.”
It breaks your heart a little, to see how some of his walls just fell to the ground. You wonder if he told this to all the girls he has been with. “And when are you going to introduce me to your sister?” You try lighting up the mood a little, elbowing him.
“Are you inviting yourself to my place?” His smirk is back, but it doesn't bother you. You're actually happy the heaviness in his voice faded away.
“No.”
“You already have a place to be on your next day off.” He's clearly not asking.
“I'm not going to your place, Billy.” Despite being glad the atmosphere changed, you still have to set up some boundaries.
“I'll make Max stay home. I'll even let her invite the kiddos.”
Running a hand through your hair, you start playing with the tip of the braid. “Only if you order pizza.” You give him a quick look, admiring his smile. “But I'm paying this time.”
“No way.”
“Then I'm not going.”
“You're very stubborn.”
“That I am.” Smirking at him, you move to walk backwards, right before him. “I'll stop by your place to meet your savior sister and her savior friends and I'll pay for the pizza. Deal?”
“You should really watch where you're going.” The moment he's done speaking, your back hits a tree. Billy comes closer, standing there, way too close for your taste, looking down at you. It reminds you of when he kissed your cheek, the sudden proximity that made your stomach burn before the feeling his lips on your skin. “Deal.” He whispers, moving away.
Closing your eyes for a couple of seconds, you take the deepest breath you can, thankful that he moved away. He's doing that on purpose, you're so damn sure. Rolling your eyes, you set in motion, now listening to the low chattering of the group.
“Billy. Let me get some water.” You quicken your pace until you reach him, searching through his backpack until you find your bottle. It's still cold, thankfully. “Want some?” You watch as he shakes his head no before you drink. You take a few sips, closing your eyes at the good sensation of the fresh water in such a heat. Suddenly you feel the bottle being pushed up, and the water spills all over your mouth and nose, rolling down your chest. Opening your eyes abruptly, the first thing you see it's Billy's amused smile.
“You're such a-” You move forward, holding the bottle tightly as you throw some water on him. “-idiot!”
He bursts into a laugh as the fight begins. You're struggling to throw what's left of the water on his face as he tries to hold your arms. “You gave me no choice.” He mumbles under his heavy breath.
“Shut up,” you yell, your voice altered by the laughs. You're trying to set free from his grip, but he's stronger. You use your body weight to try and make him move backward, anything that could give you a chance. “Jerk!” As you speak he somehow manages to take the bottle from your hand, throwing the water on you. But you think fast, moving your body closer to his as you push his arm, so the water ends up falling on both of you.
“Hey, kids!” Jason shouts, and your head immediately turns at the source of his voice. You're both frozen now, as you notice the whole group stopped, looking at you. “Let's go!”
Clearing your throat, you struggle not to let your mind process the closeness. How you pushed yourself onto Billy, collapsing on his chest. “Let's go,” you tell him, stepping away. “Jerk,” you repeat, failing to hold back the smile.

The Lovestruck~Chapter 23
(20 February)
8:36 pm
You let out a sigh staring at the view infront of you while sitting on the bench. You had came to your usual place to distract your mind from your thoughts but that didn't seemed to be working.
As you were home after leaving the Café, you started to study as your exams were coming up. However, you couldn't as you felt unmotivated which led you to have several thoughts in mind and they didn't help but demotivated even more.
Wanted to take a walk, you ended up here and at that moment, you got a call from Baekhyun. You tried to sound as fine as you could but as if you were too transparent to him and he instantly understood something was wrong.
Lost in your thoughts, you didn't even hear footsteps from behind until a figure appeared infront of you making you startle. Your eyes looked up only to be locked with familiar soft brown orbs staring at you concern yet warmly.
You stayed still, with his eyes boring into yours making you melt and your heart to welled up. You felt a lump in your throat and instantly gulped before looking down.
You sighed licking your lips and looked up. "I know this is sudden...but...can I hug you?"
His palm went to your cheek caressing it with his thumb as he gave you a soft smile. "You don't have to ask."
You nodded before wrapping your arms around his waist with your face in his stomach and his hand stroking your hair softly making your eyes close and tears streamed down your cheeks.
That was it. You needed a hug. His hug. His warmth. Him. Your favorite person and now your safe place.
Minutes of you weeping and sniffing, you both were sitting beside eachother with Baekhyun's arm draped behind you on the bench with his hand caressing gently on your shoulder.
Baekhyun took a glance at you as you sniffed wiping your remaining tears with your hoodie sleeves. He couldn't help but smile at your red nose and cheeks finding it adorable.
"Feeling better?"
You nodded as you actually felt light after letting it all out.
"Wanna share it?" He asked cautiously and you nodded before taking a deep breath.
"I.. I feel weird. I feel so unmotivated, I have so many assignments to do and exams coming up but I can't bring myself to study and that just left me stressed. What if I fail?"
You felt his hand rubbing your arm as he instantly pulled you close. "Hey, Hey, it's okay. We all have those days, sometimes we get tired and just need a break. So, don't let your thoughts take over your peaceful mind, you are strong enough to pass those days."
"You think so?"
"I know so." He kissed your temple making you smile before looking at him.
"Thank you."
He gave a nod. "Yeah sure, but next time don't bottle it up. Whenever you are struggling or feeling down, you can share it with me, I'm always here."
You stared at him in awe, wondering how did you got this lucky to have him.
Smiling, you nodded. "I know."
"Good." He kissed your nose making you laugh before leaning his forehead against yours and you both closed your eyes enjoying the calm yet comfortable silence.
All of a sudden, your stomach growled making you both flinch and you gasped leaning away before biting your lips as you looked down clutching your stomach.
Baekhyun, who just got out of the shock instantly bit his lower lip grinning at your embarrassed state before standing up.
"Let's go." He held out his hand and you pouted but eventually grabbed it as he made you stand up and led you to his car while trying hard not laugh.
He took you to a restaurant close to your house and you couldn't even wait to full your stomach as the smell of dishes making you more hungry.
As your noodles were served, you instantly began to dig and slurp while Baekhyun kept taking a glance at you worringly.
You were too imersed in eating and didn't realize his lovingly stare on you. He palmed his cheek as he stared at you before chuckling and got your attention.
"What?" You raised your eyebrows questionly while munching.
"I can't believe, you were crying a while ago and now..." He stopped as he nodded your way and you rolled you eyes. "I wasn't crying, okay!"
"Yeah, sure. And you didn't hug me earlier too." He spoke nonchalantly before slurping and you blushed remembering that scene before clearing your throat while stirring the soup as something crossed your mind.
"Ah, my parents want to meet you." You said and he choked on his food.
You passed him the glass of water and he gulped it down while you rubbed his back before biting your lips to suppress your laugh.
"You sure are a killjoy." He wiped his mouth glaring at you playfully and you shrugged smiling.
It's been more than a month to your relationship and with you being all smiley and cheery made your parents too desperate to meet him and Daniel's nonstop praises to Baekhyun weren't helping either.
"It's not my fault, if Dan likes you so much." You crossed your arms. "He's always praising you and only listens to you and sometimes I get jealous too."
He chuckled. "Don't be, I'm all yours anyway."
You rolled your eyes. "Don't twist my words."
"When should I meet them? Your parents?" He asked nervously.
"How about right now?"
"Right now?!"
You laughed. "Chill, I was joking."
He squinted his eyes. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
You giggled nodding. "Yes, it's so rare to see you like this."
He huffed. "Let's talk when it's your time."
Soon, you went back to home with Baekhyun as he stopped his car infront of your porch. He got out of the car with you and walked towards you before leaning his back against the car while taking your hand.
"Listen, don't think about anything. Take a warm shower and go to sleep early so you can feel better, hm?" He poked your cheek softly and you chuckled nodding.
"Okay, Ajjusshi."
"Yah!"
"What? You think only you can tease me?"
He pouted before nodding. "Okay, then, I won't bring that up and you do the same, hm?"
"Fair enough." You nodded. "Now go before you have to deal with my mum."
He chuckled pinching your nose causing you scrunch your nose and he imitated your expression before walking to the driving seat but you stopped him.
He looked at you confusingly before you tiptoed grabbing his nap to pull him down and kissed his cheek. "Drive safely, Ajjusshi."
You made a face before giggling and sprinted towards your home leaving the stunned Baekhyun behind. As soon as he recovered, his hand went to cheek and he chuckled shaking his head.
"Gosh, I love her!"
***
(21st February)
1:23 pm
Next day, you and Ria went to a restaurant close to your college as you decided to eat outside making your bestfriend confused as ever, since it was the first time you asked to go out.
"Y/n, tell me seriously?" Ria questioned crossing her arms as she eyed you suspiciously and you gave a shrug avoiding her gaze.
"What? I just wanted to eat outside. Is it that hard to believe?" You took a sip from your orange juice before giving her a smile.
She scoffed. "Yes."
You clicked your tongue rolling your eyes before you got a weird feeling and instantly threw your head back to see Baekhyun's face, looking down at you.
"Oh? How did you know I was here?" He asked surprised and you shrugged before he pecked your temple and took a seat beside you.
Ria watched the scene smilingly before her gaze went behind you to see Chanyeol coming towards the table. She suddenly felt nervous as he took a seat beside her before smiling at her.
You and Baekhyun exchanged looks with each other before ordering and getting imersed in the conversation. While between the talks, Baekhyun kept taking a sip from your orange juice and when you offered him to drink it all, he refused but then continued to take sips.
As you all finished your meal, Baekhyun excused himself to the washroom and you continued your conversation with them. You also took the chance to observe the pair infront of you who seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Baekhyun walked out but stopped when he spotted a guy other side of your table, scribbling something and gave it to the waiter before pointing towards you.
His blood boiled and he walked faster to the waiter and stopped him before taking a look at the paper. He scoffed lowly reading it as the guy was asking your number.
Taking the pen from the waiter, he scribbled something down the paper before pointing it to give back to the guy.
The guy was imersed in his phone to notice until the waiter gave him the paper back and he expectantly opened the paper only to get confused.
She is taken
He looked towards your table to see you with Baekhyun who instantly locked eyes with him and shot a intimated gaze at him causing him to look away awkwardly.
"Shall we leave?" Baekhyun asked you and you nodded before standing up and Ria looked at you both confusingly.
"What? Where are you going?"
"We have to be at Café, so we're leaving." Baekhyun said wrapping his arm around your waist. "Chanyeol will drop you off."
You controlled your laugh at seeing Ria's expression but you wanted to do this as Chanyeol and Ria needed to have a talk. Hence, you and Baekhyun decided to be cupids for them.
"Yeah, i'll drop you off." Chanyeol smiled at her before sending a smirk towards Baekhyun which got unnoticed by you as your eyes were on your bestfriend.
You waved at them as you exited the restaurant not before Baekhyun throwing a glance to the guy who awkwardly coughed before looking away.
"Are they going to be okay?" You asked him as soon as you were out.
"Don't worry, Chanyeol's gonna take care of it and your bestfriend is in safe hands." He gave you a assuring smile which you returned but then felt his stare.
"What?"
"You must have got confessions a lot and crushes too."
"Huh? Suddenly?" You frowned. "Well, not really because back then I was too naive to notice and about crushes..."
"I know, that Big Boss and Siwon, whatever his name was." He rolled his eyes and you chuckled at his adorable jealously.
"If we're talking about crushes," You crossed your arms over your chest. "Then I do remember Chanyeol Sunbae telling me about your high school crush."
"Oh.. That..." He rubbed his nap before smiling sheepishly."It was just a tiny bit crush, nothing serious."
You nodded giving him the exact smile and he chuckled. "Okay, we have to go."
"Come on! Coffee bean, let's go!" Baekhyun stretched out his hand for you and you squinted your eyes before grasping it.
"Stop calling me that!"
He laughed locking his arm around your neck to pull you by his side. "Why? It suits you."
You groaned rolling your eyes and started walking with him before his eyes stopped at a Café and a sigh left his lips making you look at him.
"Graduation is approaching and I will have to officially start my work and maybe stop working in the Café." He leaned the side of head over yours. "But I will miss you."
You bit your lip thinking about the days without him at the Café. Sensing your silence, he lifted his head up to see the expression which he never want to see.
"Don't be sad." He tilted his head and you looked into his eyes. "We will see eachother and think about it, if I don't work how will we feed our little beans, hm?"
Your brows knitted in confusion but then your eyes widened and you immediately slapped his chest playfully but he caught your hand and laughed.
"Wait, who said I'll marry you?" You raised your brows looking at him with smug expression.
He let out a dramatic gasp. "I didn't know you were that bold to have kids withoutmm-"
You cupped his mouth giving him a glare which he seemed unfazed about before you felt his lips kissing your palm bringing heat to your face and you instantly pulled your hand away.
"You're such a pervert!"
"Umm." He nodded. "Your pervert. And you're stuck with this pervert forever. So deal with it."
You walked back to your college with your thoughts about him leaving. And you already started missing him.
Meanwhile at the restaurant, two people were now sitting in an awkward silence until Chanyeol chuckled.
"You don't have to feel stiff around me, you know?" He smiled at Ria which made her relaxed.
"I know you are confused about this but actually I asked them to give us a space so I could say what I wanted to say." He said rubbing his thighs nervously.
Ria licked her lips nervously with her heart beating fast than ever. "What do you want to say?"
"I won't beat around the bush." He cleared his throat before taking a deep breath. "Would you like to be my girlfriend?"
Ria choked on her saliva at his straightforward question causing her to blush and Chanyeol chuckled. "Did I surprise you?"
She smiled shyly nodding as they both exchanged a loving eye contact and that was a new start of their journey.
_______________
8:01 pm
"Y/n, take the big Cart."
You heard your mom saying when you were shoving your car keys in your pocket and frowned but nodded as you grabbed the trolley before walking further into the store.
You were here with your mom at the grocery store to shop as the minute she heard about Baekhyun coming tomorrow to meet them, she started her preparation while you just mentally shook your head.
"Mum, why are you so excited for?" You questioned as you both stopped by a vegetable section.
"Why wouldn't I be? My one and only daughter who was never interested having any boyfriend, got a boyfriend for herself and you want me to just sit still?"
She gave you a duh face and you gave her a poker face before rolling your eyes. Well, she wasn't wrong though.
"Let's not buy too much cucumbers, just for our face masks."
"Why? I'm gonna make salad tho."
"Yeah, but no cucumbers because Baekhyun doesn't eat cucumber." You picked few cucumbers and put them in the trolley. "And not too spicy food."
You looked at her to see her smiling at you causing you raise your eyebrows confusingly. "Why?"
"My daughter just sounded like a wife material and this is such a miracle." She exaggerated dramatically and you blushed at the wife word but then shook your head.
"I'm gonna check that section." You said walking away and she laughed giving you a light slap on the arm causing you wince slightly.
It wasn't hard slap but you were already slapped hard by your bestfriend after knowing about your little cupid plan about her but at the same time, you were happy to know that your plan did work as she has started dating Chanyeol.
You walked to the opposite direction and looked for some chocolates before unconsciously glancing over to the side to see an elder woman walking speedily with her trolley only to get bumped into a lady's trolley.
The lady flinched and looked at her surprised before making a distance between them. The elderly lady looked at her furiously.
"Can't you make space for others to pass by?"
Rude. Instead of apologizing, she's blaming her.
The lady scoffed. "Excuse me? I'm standing at the right side, you were the one passing by without looking anywhere."
"Now, you are blaming me? Instead of apologizing?" She spoke loudly getting the attention of the other people.
You scoffed rolling your eyes and getting fed up with her behavior and decided to jump in.
"Excuse me? Ma'am." You spoke and their head snapped towards you before giving the rude lady your tight polite smile. "I think you should just apologize."
"Listen young lady, this is not your concern so just leave."
"I think it is my concern since i have seen everthing." You snapped at her with a calm voice and her face dropped but then she instantly smirked. "Who's going to believe you?"
"They don't have to but they'll believe that CCTV over there." You pointed at the Camera witnessing the scene before looking back at her with a sarcastic smile. "Should we check that?"
The rude lady scoffed before blinking and tried to turn away but you instantly stopped her. "Aren't you going apologize?"
She shot you a glare and you looked at her unfazed before she looked at the lady. "Sorry."
With that she walked away and people also went their way.
"Such a strange lady." You and the other lady said in unison and looked at eachother amazed before smiling.
"Thank you, young lady." She smiled at you and you returned it. "No worries, ma'am."
"Y/n!" You heard your mom behind and saw her coming towards you before she stared at you and the lady. "Did you cause trouble again?"
You gave her a seriously face and the lady standing with you chuckled before looking at your mom. "No no, she actually helped me. You have such a nice daughter."
You blushed but smiled and your mom nodded towards her before she asked something you weren't expecting her to.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"Eh?"
She chuckled. "Ah sorry. I just wanted to know generally."
You mom smiled. "Yes, she has a boyfriend and we're meeting him tomorrow."
You looked at your mom weirdly as she just started talking freely with her and the lady nodded before you both bid goodbye to her.
The lady sighed. "Ah, what a lucky guy would he be to have her as a girlfriend. Wish my Hyun also can get a girlfriend like her."
She turned around to walk away from there and met Kyungsoo who was helping her with somethings before exiting the store.
You went home and got a surprise to see Jae sitting on the couch with Daniel and your dad. Apparently, his training was over and now he's going to join dad's business which means goodbye to Scotland.
You were happy to know this because after Ria, Jae was the person whom you could talk about your feelings freely and he was the first one to know about your relationship too.
Indeed it was a surprise, a good one but little did you know, that another surprise was waiting for you.
***
Coming inside to his Baekhyun's share apartment, Mrs Byun saw him and his friends playing with his nephew and niece. She walked in the kitchen with Kyungsoo helping her putting the bags on the counter with Jongdae and Minseok and joined them.
Baekhyun walked inside the with his niece in his arms and made her sit on the counter before giving her a strawberry which they just bought before taking a bite of it too.
"You called me earlier saying you are done but you are coming now?" Minseok questioned putting the vegetables in the fridge and Kyungsoo sighed.
"Don't even ask." Mrs Byun started as she began to make some tea. "There was this rude lady who started arguing with me out of nowhere."
Baekhyun's ears perked up upon hearing this. "What? Why? What did you do then?"
"Of course I didn't back away but then a young girl helped me." She smiled. "She was such a smart girl but she had a boyfriend."
Baekhyun shook his head. "Eomma, you really need to stop this plus I have a girlfriend already."
Mrs Byun's eyes widened. "What?!"
Baekhyun nodded nonchalantly. "Umm and i'm meeting her parents tomorrow."
Baekhyun's nephew who was in Chanyeol's arms almost slipped from his embrace hearing that but instantly tightened his grip on him.
"Yah! Aren't you going too fast?"
"What are you talking about? It's just a casual meeting since they want to meet me." He told them and talking about it just made him nervous suddenly.
"You have a girlfriend yet you didn't tell us?" Mrs Byun asked him.
"I told you."
"When?"
"Just now."
He smiled playfully and winced in pain when Mrs Byun pulled his ear hardly causing the kids to giggle cutely at the sight while Boys showed no reaction and continued their task as it wasn't something new to witness.
"Whatever, let's have dinner but i want details later." She demanded and Baekhyun nodded rubbing his ear which turned red as his strawberry in his hand which he ate it immediately.
As everyone walked out of the kitchen leaving Kyungsoo and Mrs Byun inside, Baekhyun got stopped by the Boys snickers and shot them a confuse look.
"Hyung, you have to do well tomorrow." Sehun spoke. "If not, forget Junior Y/n forever."
Baekhyun scoffed. "You think i'll be scared of that? I'll be fine."
They all nodded giving him raising their fist in the air as a fighting cheer to him before snickering. Baekhyun who just shook his head and went to his room for a shower as the nervous he already was, his friends made it even worse.
On the other hand, you walked into your room after all the chattering with your family and checked your phone to 2 missed calls and few messages from Baekhyun.
You frowned but then dialed back his number to call him.
Mrs Byun walked in Baekhyun's room and heard the showering sound from the bathroom and took the chance to change his bedsheets.
Not long before, she heard Baekhyun's phone ringing and told him about it which she got a reply from him to check it.
Sighing, she grabbed his phone and checked the caller ID only to get confused by the contact name on it.
"Coffee Bean?" She mumbled confusingly before answering it and pushed it to her ear.
"Hello." You spoke and frowned when he didn't say anything back while Mrs Byun was confused as hell but understood who the girl was.
She cleared her throat. "Hello?"
Your eyebrows crashed together hearing a female voice and checked if have dialed the right number and it indeed was right before pushing your phone back to your ear.
"Who's this?" You asked cautiously.
"I'm Baekhyun's mother."
Your phone almost slipped from your hand but you clutched it tightly before covering the phone with your hand. You eyed the phone shockingly and puffed out your cheeks before taking a deep breath and gulped.
"Hello, Mrs Byun." You greeted her politely though your heart was banging loudly against your chest. "I had something to talk to Baekhyun but it's okay it can wait. Sorry if I bothered you."
Mrs Byun smiled. "No no, you didn't. Don't mind it. Actually Baekhyun is in the shower, so I'll tell him to call you after."
"Yes, no problem. Then have a good night." You said and hearing a same reply from him, you hung up and the phone slipped out of your hand landing on the bed. Thankfully.
Baekhyun walked out drying his hair with the towel and saw his mother smiling looking at her phone and seeing that he approached her.
"Who was it?"
"Your Coffee Bean." She handed him the phone before fixing the pillows properly on its place and Baekhyun looked at her shook.
"She is your girlfriend right?"
Baekhyun smiled nodding before chuckling. "She must have freaked out."
Mrs Byun smiled. "Well, she sounded polite and nice too. How is she like?"
"She's incredible." Baekhyun didn't even took a second to reply and seeing that Mrs Byun just shook her head before smiling at him.
"I guess, she must be as you have been happier since the day you have visited us." She approached him and made him sit on the bed before she began to dry his hair with the towel.
"All we want to see you is happy and seeing you this happy, is enough for me." She smiled before laying the towel around the chair and Baekhyun grinned shyly flipping his hair back out of habit.
"So? When will you introduce her to us? I really can't wait to meet her." She said turning around. "By the way, what's her name?"
Baekhyun chuckled. "Y/n. And I'll introduced her to you soon but tomorrow I have to be introduced to her family."
She nodded folding her arms and approached him with a understanding smile. "I know you must be nervous already. And it's normal since you're meeting her parents as you want to make a good impression. So just be yourself."
Baekhyun nodded and Mrs Byun was walking out but stopped at the door frame and looked back at him. "I want every detail at the dining table."
Baekhyun laughed and then Mrs Byun said something before going down which left him blushing.
"I wonder when will I see my grandkids."
"Eomma!"
He pouted before someone crossed his mind and took his phone before dialing the number.
You were walking back and forth in your room while biting your thumb nail nervously and having a bucket of thoughts before you jumped when your phone rang and saw it was Baekhyun.
You carefully pushed the phone to your ear and kept mum not wanting to take a risk then heard a deep chuckle on the other side making you sigh in relief.
"What do I do? Ah! Seriously! I just talked to your mother. Oh God! What should I do now?!" You whined, ranting nonstop and Baekhyun smiled already imagining you stomping your foot cutely.
Oh, How much he wanted to see that scene.
"Y/n, relax." He said making your babbling to stop. "She likes you and wants to meet you too."
"Me? Right now?!"
He laughed. "No, dummy but don't you think this feels kind of familiar?"
You frowned but then flashback of your conversation at the restaurant crossed your mind and you gasped.
"Dejavu." You both blurted out in unison and Baekhyun chuckled confusing you.
"Karma really works fast in our case." He uttered and you could imagine him smirking causing you roll your eyes.
"Whatever, I'm going down." You huffed and he laughed at his whiny girlfriend before hanging up and you chuckled.
Then your door burst opened flinching you and there was standing a devil at the door frame, Jae.
"Haven't you heard about knocking?"
He shrugged plopping on your bed. "This is my house, why do I have to knock? I heard your boyfriend is coming tomorrow."
You frowned seeing his evil smirk. "Don't you dare pick on him."
He looked at you amused. "Oooh, already protective huh? Let me tell this to everyone."
With that he got up and ran out of your room with you chasing him down.
"Jae! No!"
Life surely becomes an entertainment when you have annoying brothers and a boyfriend who doesn't leave a chance to tease you but were you complaining? No, because at the same time, you loved this.

Crush (Nick x Reader)
A/n: Hey guys so it was brought to my attention and I also kinda noticed that my writing looks clustered as hell on tumblr cause I’m just not used to writing on it. So I’m gonna start typing my stories on Wattpad and transferring them onto tumblr cause it’s just easier for me since I’ve been writing on Wattpad for years. Let me know if it’s easier to read and if you guys would prefer it if I changed the rest of my previous imagines to this layout!
Requested by: Fallonburns (Wattpad)
Warnings: None I think. A kiss? I don’t know if you need to be warned about that. Okay bye!
————
As a member of the school dance committee it was part my job to push ideas and work out any kinks before a dance could happen. That included booking food, decorations, and of course entertainment.
"Come on y/n! Julie and her hologram band could totally blow the roof off this place and you know it" Flynn spoke as I walked down the hall towards my locker.
"Of course I know it Flynn and I know Julie would kill it but it's not my decision. Plus the dance is tomorrow. Who knows if Dinas gonna wanna add another entertainer for the night besides you?" I spoke to one of my longest friends.
"Well will you at least put in a good word?"
"I'll see what I can do" I said putting in my locker combination.
"Yes! Thank you"
Seconds later I groaned feeling my body particularly my head collide with the small metal door in a split second.
"Y/n!" I heard Flynn shout helping me regain my balance.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry" I heard a familiar voice making my heart rate pick up.
"Nick" I panted attempting to recover the air that was just knocked out of me.
"Y/n I didn't mean to really. Ethan threw the ball and I tried to catch it I-I'm sorry"
"It's cool. I'm totally fine" I attempted to play it off as I grabbed my binder from my locker.
"If totally fine means you've got a concussion then yeah you seem great" Flynn said making me scowl at her.
"Do you need to go to the nurse? I can walk you if you want" He said putting a hand on my head exactly where it had made contact with my locker door.
"Nick I'm fine really" I smiled removing his hand. I finally made eye contact with the boy who stood there smiling back at me. His beautiful blue eyes taking my breath away once more. Knocking out of the trance I glanced back at Flynn to see her eyeing me suspiciously.
“Are you sure?”
"Positive. I've gotta get to class. I'll see you later" I said pulling Flynn away from the scene in a hurry.
"Yeah, later" Nick called out to us as we continued down the hall.
"Seriously? Nick? What is it with that boy? I mean first Julie now you"
"Now me what? I don't like Nick. Julie likes Nick"
"Yeah if Nicks name started with L and rhymed with Duke" I looked at the girl in confusion.
"What?"
"Nothing. Julie doesn't like Nick anymore but it seems you do and as one of your oldest friends I think it's my job to tell you to go for it"
"Last time you told me to go for something I ended up on the school dance committee. I have 500 balloons to blow up by tomorrow" I said walking towards Carrie and Kayla. Kayla sent me a smile earning a pointed look from Carrie.
"Kayla. Carrie. I hope to see you guys at the dance this Thursday" I spoke smiling at the two girls.
"Sounds interesting. But I'm busy with Nick. You know MY boyfriend" She said putting emphasis on the word my.
"Plus if Flynn's gonna DJ I just don't know if I'd make it through the night"
I put an arm in front of Flynn to hold her back before turning back to the two girls.
"Well take a flyer anyways just in case" I grinned taking one from the stack in my binder.
"Thanks" Kayla said taking the flyer out of my hands.
"I hope to see you there" I sent the two another fake smile before walking away with Flynn to our next class.
"How do you talk to her without going off on her?"
"Well for starters it takes a lot of patience. They don't say fake it til you make it for nothing" I giggled along with Flynn as she looped her arm around my own.
I strutted down the hall walking towards music room where I knew Flynn and Julie would be at this time excited to give them the news.
Suddenly I felt someone grab my arm and spin me around to face them.
“Oh Nick" I said looking up at the boy in front of me. A blush creeping onto my face as I noticed the intense look he was sending me.
"What's up?" I questioned cautiously.
"We're friends right?"
"Yeah of course why?"
"I need a favor"
"A favor? A favor like what?" I asked watching his gaze flicker to our right. I turned to see Carrie and the rest of dirty candy walking towards us.
Before I could process what came next my body collided with the cold metal lockers behind me as Nick pushed his lips onto mine.
I slowly melted into the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him closer. But he didn't seem to mind.
"Nick" Carries voice interrupted what had soon become a make out session. The boy in front of me pulled away first keeping his hands firmly on my waist.
"Oh Carrie. What do you want?"
"We need to talk"
"I'm a little busy here" He said tilting his head towards me.
"Well become unbusy"
"I would but we have nothing to talk about. I told you yesterday we're over and that's it"
"We're not over until I say we're over"
"I'd say your pretty over"
"Oh shut it y/n. I know this is fake because Nick would never like a girl like you. I mean look at yourself. Pathetic" She talked with anger evident in her voice.
"Don't talk to her like that" Nick spoke turning to stand in front of me.
“Nick it's fine. She's right"
"No she's not. I'd rather be with someone who's kind, gentle, and doesn't have the personality of a mountain lion" Nick said glaring at Carrie who stood there with a smirk.
"You'll be back Nicky. See you Friday at the dance" She said walking away her posse hot on her tail.
"Thanks for sticking up for me Nick. You didn't have to. And sorry if I wasn't believable enough"
"You were great. Amazing! And I'll always stick up for you. You know that" He said smiling down at me.
"I know. I'd just prefer it if every time we met you didn't push me against the lockers. They’re cold and made out of metal you know?" I joked making him chuckle.
"Yeah sorry about that. And I'm sorry for dragging you into this. It's just Carrie won't leave me alone"
"I kinda figured when you shoved your tongue down my throat" I giggled watching a cute grin form on his face.
"Yeah yeah. I didn't hear you complaining"
"Well I mean you're not the worst kisser" I said biting my lip watching him get flustered.
"I can do better than that. I was just under pressure"
"Then I guess you'll have to prove it to me later" I spoke confidently before turning around walking in the direction I was heading.
"Hey! Wait!" He called out after me. "Yeah?" I questioned turning around.
"Are you going to the dance?" He asked shoving his hands in his pocket
"Yeah I have to. I kinda helped planned it" I called back smiling at him.
"So I'll see you there"
"See you there" I spoke turning back around reaching the end of the hall.
I pushed open the doors to the band room open only to hear a loud thud.
"Flynn?" I questioned seeing the girl on the ground.
"Are you okay?" I asked helping her up
"She's fine" Someone else in the room spoke.
"Oh hey Julie" I grinned at the girl who sat at the piano.
"Hey y/n"
"So are you gonna explain to me why you were on the floor?"
"Sure just as soon as you explain to me why Nick had you pushed up against the lockers" My face fell in embarrassment as I looked at Julie in panic.
"Julie it's not-"
"It's okay y/n. I'm over him. I kinda moved onto someone else"
"Really?"
"Really. You have my blessing" She confirmed with a grin.
"Thanks. Now that that's over. You were spying on me weren't you?" I questioned turning to Flynn.
"Whaaat no. I would never"
"She was spying" Julie confirmed for me once more.
"Thought so. I'll explain everything later I came to find you guys cause I have great news" I grinned pulling out a flyer from my backpack.
"Performing at Thursday nights dance is Julie and her hologram band" I smiled showing Flynn the paper.
"Wait what?" Julie asked with a surprised look on her face.
"I haven't told her"
"You haven't told her?" I asked with an exasperated look knowing this was gonna be a long evening.
It was Thursday night and I was running around making sure everything was going according to plan.
“Hey how’s she doing?” I asked Flynn nervously biting my lip.
“Not good. Her band she can’t get a hold of them......literally” Flynn explained making me nod my head.
“It’s just it’s 11:20 already”
“I know but this means a lot to her”
“I understand. Just keep stalling with your amazing dj skills” I smiled giving the girl a thumbs up.
“Thanks y/n. You’ve been running around all night why don’t you take a break?”
“I can’t even if I wanted to”
“Come on! Look Nicks been staring at you all night. If you pull him on the dance floor I’ll play something smooth. Something slow” She smirked at me bumping my shoulder.
“No you will not” I warned the girl. Looking over to the blonde boy who was evidently looking our way. Looking at me. He sent me a smile to which I smiled back at.
“Try me” She said making me playfully roll my eyes.
“I’ve gotta go” I spoke watching Daisy at the punch table wave me over.
“Duty calls” Flynn said before I walked away.
“What’s wrong?” I asked the brunette reaching the table on the far end of the gym.
“I’ve gotta go to the bathroom can you serve punch for like 5 minutes”
“Sure” I smiled moving behind the table taking the apron out of her hands. I threw it over my neck attempting to tie it from the back.
“I’ve got it” Someone spoke from behind me taking the strings away and tying them in a perfect knot.
“Nick. Thank you” I simpered at the boy who moved around the table to stand in front of me.
“No problem. I’m glad I finally got you alone. You look great by the way”
“I know this apron is pretty great huh?” I toyed with the boy.
“You can make anything look good”
“I try. Punch?” I asked holding up a plastic cup.
“Please” I quickly served him a cup handing it over to him.
“Thanks. You did amazing with this whole dance”
“Yeah well Dina wanted it to be perfect since it’s our first dance of the year”
“Dina did not disappoint. Neither did you of course. Promise you’ll save me a dance” He asked my cheeks heating up.
Abruptly I felt a tap on my shoulder to see Daisy was back. I handed her back the apron before moving around the table where Nick was.
“Or we could dance now?” I suggested watching him put his cup down.
“Sounds good m’lady” He spoke sticking his hand out for me. I giggled taking it and letting him sweep me towards the dance floor.
I laughed along with him as he began to dance goofily to the music purposely.
“You have an amazing laugh”
“Nick if you don’t stop complimenting me it’s gonna look like I put on 10 pounds of blush by the end of the night”
“Well you don’t need makeup you know”
“That’s what all guys say until they see what you really look like”
“Well you’ve always been naturally beautiful. Even in 8th grade when you wore no makeup at all”
“Don’t remind me I looked terrible”
“Not to me you didn’t” He said looking into my eyes. For a split moment the world around us stopped moving and it felt like we were the only ones in the room.
At least until I felt someone bump into me pushing me forward into the boy.
“I’m so sorry” I said realizing his hands had caught my body.
“It’s cool are you okay?” He asked.
“Yeah y/n are you okay?” A familiar voice asked from behind me.
I turned around to come face to face with Carrie who stood there with a devilish look in her eye.
“I’m fine”
“Oh how unfortunate. You know I didn’t see you as the dancing type. You’ve always had two left feet”
“Leave her alone Carrie” Nick spoke attempting to move forward. I put my arm up to hold him back.
“No Nick it’s ok she’s not worth my time or yours”
“Whatever. This dance is lame anyways”
“Then maybe go home”
“I will. Nick care to join me?” She smirked dangling her plastic cup in her hands.
“No I’m having a good time here” Nick spoke intertwining his hand with mine. I looked down slightly smiling at the gesture.
“Wow. Fine have fun.......with her” Carrie said moving to pass by me.
I suddenly gasped feeling a cold sensation hit my body.
“Oops sorry” The witch spoke before walking away.
“What’s her problem?” I asked ready to go after her only to be held back.
“Hey, you said it yourself. She’s not worth our time” Nick whispered holding me by my shoulders.
“Your right. I don’t even think it’s worth trying to clean this up” I said pointing out the red stain on the side of my dress.
“Here. It isn’t exactly cute but it’ll help cover up the stain” He said putting his jean jacket over my shoulders.
“It’s perfect. Thanks Nick. For everything”
“This is one of the last few songs of the night. Dedicated to a very special friend of mine so grab your partners close and tell HIM or her how you feel” Flynn’s voice rang through the gym speakers.
A slow song beginning to play throughout the gym. Couples beginning to form on the dance floor.
I looked up at the girl on the stage to see her send me a quick wink. Playfully rolling my eyes I looked back at the boy in front of me, his hand lingering in the air.
“Can I have this dance?”
“Of course” I grinned taking it. Allowing him to pull me close.
We swayed side to side along to music with smiles plastered on our faces.
“You know I never thought I’d finally get here”
“Finally?” I asked pulling away looking up at him.
“Guess it’s now or never huh? Okay. Y/n I’ve had a crush on you for the longest time. So long Carrie started to notice. After she found out I rammed you into the lockers the other day she went crazy”
“Really? She was that jealous”
“Insanely. But after I talked to you that day I realized this crush wasn’t going anywhere”
“You know I’m really glad to hear you say that Nick cause I feel the same way”
“That’s good. Because I can finally prove you so wrong” He smirked leaning down and pulling me into a passionate kiss. The first (technically second) one of the many that were yet to come.

LOBO SONORA
Hank ‘Tranq’ Loza x Reader
Anon asked: Hi! I hope your doing okay💜 I was wondering if you could write an imagine where the reader is an old lady (you can write this for any member of the Mayans, I didn't think of anyone specifically) and she seems like this cozy housewife but one day she kicks the shit out a burglar and she explains to her family that she is the daughter of a crime boss and she was taught how to fight by him and other members of her family. I hope you have a great day / night and thank you💜💜💜💜

“Shit, baby, wait!”
Tranq stops his bike, like Bishop and Taza does. You were about to have dinner at the ranch, when you noticed that your phone isn't inside your pocket.
“Just one second, caballeros!”
The front yard of the clubhouse is empty, with the lights turned off, so taking off the helmet from your hair you lead your steps towards the porch. Coming in and illuminating the living room, you have one quickly look to the poker table, finding your phone there. Grabbing it, you turn around hearing some steps walking closer.
“I foun— ¿Quién chingados eres tú?” (Who the hell are you?)
A man wearing a spooky mask is in front of you, pointing you with a gun and making a gesture with his free hand for you to close the door. But even if the logic would ask for help, it's the first time in seven years that someone threatens you like that and your body reacts before your brain. The guy is close enough to be hitten by your right leg, going straight to his forearm to make the gun fall down, getting shot in the meantime. The bullet impacts in the virgin, alerting the Mayans.
The man tries to hit you back, but you use the helmet to punch him on the face, unbalancing him to the left, before squatting to move your leg from his right ankle to his heels; making him fall to the floor. Everything happens in less than three seconds, when your husband and the other two mexicans appear.
“Are you okay?” Tranq runs towards you, cupping your cheeks in his hands, while you nod somewhat nervously.
Bishop takes off the mask from the man, but they look at you two, before looking at Taza. No one knows him.
“Who has sent you?”
“Lobo Sonora”. He replies between some painful growls. “Her father”.
“What?” Your husband looks confused, taking some steps away from you. And you can't blame him. You never told him who you really are.
———————————————————
“Madre de los Mayas” that's how the whole Cali knows you by. The perfect wife, the perfect mother, the perfect friend. But you're far away to be perfect, you don't even want to be it. You just take care of your chosen family, like your blood family never did. You ran away from Sonora when your father tried to make you marry someone you didn't love. Someone that used to denigrate you in several ways. And maybe Santo Padre was too close from your hometown, Hermosillo, but you didn't care about it. Your father knows pretty well where you are, but for a damn time he respected your decision. Now, you would like to know what the hell he wants, after almost eight years without crossing the border.
But first, you have to answer some questions that you never thought you would have to answer.
The three men are sitting in their respective chairs, while you had a seat on the other front of the main table inside the Templo. It's been a couple hours since you caught the mexican your father sent to have contact with you, without using phones. Tranq looks disappointed, bemused and furious. All in one. All because of you and your half truths.
“I love you”. You say when Bishop is about to talk. “I really do, Hank”.
“I don't trust you anymore. I don't know who you are… And all I care about, right now, is my club”.
“Brother, let her explain himself”. Taza says raising a hand to calm your husband.
“I don't want”. He simply replies, before getting up from his chair.
“Hank, listen…”
“Don't fucking dare to talk to me”. He points you with a forefinger, when you try to face him before leaving the Templo.
Sitting down again, you nail your elbows on the table starting to cry, sinking your face into your palms. It hurts the other men too. They know you're not a liar. They know you're not a traitor. So they wait in silence for you, to explain yourself.
“I ju—just ran away from Sonora… I didn't wa—want to follow his orders”. You say after some minutes, between sobs and deep breaths.
“What orders, querida?”
“My father… My father wanted me to ma—marry a Vato”.
“One of El Palo's men?” Che leans over the table, shaking his head slightly.
You nod.
“You, better than anybody in the Mayans, knows what it means”.
“And that's it…?”
“Beatings, rapes, scapegoats…” The Apache turns to the mexican, making him lying on his chair snorting and rubbing his face. “That's what they do to their wives, hermano. That's for what they use them”.
“I ha—have information about my father… that could burn down his empire. I wi—will give it to you, if you want it”.
“I believe you, (Y/N). You don't have to prove us a shit, okay?” Bishop highlights then, letting you breathe for a second. Turning to the vice, he has a drag from his cigar. “Find out why they sent that pendejo for. I'll talk with Tranq”.
“Bish…” You call him, while they get up from their chairs. “I'm sorry… I'm really sorry for not telling you about it. I tho—thought my father just… gave up on me”.
“Mamá Maya, estás salvo aquí”. (You're safe here) He replies caressing your left cheek with the back of his fingers. “Wait here”.
As soon as they leave you alone, closing the glass door, you break into pieces. You really appreciate that they trust in you, but if your husband doesn't, you're lost. You love him more than anything. You've been together for the last seven years and your love turned into a beautiful warrior called Alma. You can't imagine a day without waking up by his side, while your daughter jumps on the mattress. You can't imagine a night without watching your husband reading a story to your baby, before going to sleep together, telling him how much you love him in the intimacy of your room. You were living in hell for twenty years, until you found Tranq. He saved you.
When the door gets opened again, you're unable to turn around, recognizing his smell flooding the empty room. Closing it, he walks towards you, sitting on the next chair and resting his forearms against the edge of the table. His look is lost in the middle of nowhere, organizing his ideas inside his head, keeping silence and making you feel scared.
“Why did you leave Sonora?”
“My father wa—wanted me to marry Pablo Santos”.
You know that you don't need to say anything else, when he turns his face and his attention towards you.
“Does your father know about me, about Alma?” You nod slowly. “Did you tell him?”
“The last time I talked with him wa—was eight years ago”. Shaking your head and cleaning the tears, you curl a leg against your chest above the chair. “But he is ‘Lobo Sonora’, he knows everything”.
“You should go home”. Tranq just says, getting up with a heavy snort.
“Hank, please”. Quickly, you hold his hand standing up. “Please… don't leave me. I beg you”.
“I'll stay here to know what your father wants”.
“I will wait for you, then. Alma is… with Leti till tomorrow”.
“(Y/N)...”
“Please”.
Your husband cups your face into his huge hands, leaning forward to kiss your forehead and all that you can feel is your legs about to falter. He catches your lips between his in a dearly kiss, caressing your cheeks with both thumbs. So warm, so gentle, like he usually is with you.
“Go to my room, try to sleep. I'll be there in a few”.
“I love you”. You just say, letting a tear run away from your left eye.
“I know it, vida mía. I know it”.

Imagine:
Dean and Sam are on there way to the bar where you had to been drinking, but find something dark on the way..then a few months later, they never expected this.
Part 1
Y/n's Pov-
"Y/n?..." Sam muttered, shaking his head like he couldn't believe I was there. He ran over, dropping his stuff and embraced me in a hug, sobbing into my shoulder. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
"...Hey shh...it's ok I promise it's ok...Dean? You wanna join us?" I smile, he had just been staring at me, like he didn't know either to hug me or not move. I reach out my hand, inviting him into the hug me and San were having. Immediately he rushed over and hugged me, kissing my cheek. I smiled at the two men who had there arms around me, I felt safe once again. "Sorry I smell like death." I joked and the both of them laughed, pulling back.
"..How are you alive?.."
"I don't know, Cass?" I turn to Cass, who was smiling.
"I found a way to bring her back, her soul wasn't in heaven or hell."
"Then where was it?"
"That's the thing, your soul was connected to an object. A ring on this man, so I stole it and replaced it back into you body...hoping it would bring you back."
"Well I'm guessing it worked cause I'm standing here. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to take a shower. Which I uh...hate to ask this but I might need some help with getting my back considering I'm covered in, well about everything that has to do with a dead body...any volunteers?" The three boys looked at each other, not knowing what to say. I guess they never expected me to ask this.
"I'll do it." Sam nervously muttered, I nodded and grabbed his hand, dragging him to my room. When I entered I saw my bed all messed up and not made. That's weird I thought, I always make my bed in the morning. Then I knew, Sam's flannel on the edge of the bed along with a pair of pants. Slowly turning to Sammy, who was bright red, I give him a sad look.
"...Have you been sleeping in my bed?" Not looking at me he nods, his cheeks turning even redder. "Oh...Sammy..." I caress his cheek, closing his eyes, he leans into my touch, smiling as he felt the touch of my hand.
However when I pulled it away, he frowned, like he didn't want to lose the feeling. I walk into the bathroom and look in the mirror, before I could make a corny joke I spot the blood. The stab wounds that had been placed on me.
I look down and touch my shirt, to see if maybe the wounds were still bleeding, but all I could focus on was the blood on my hands....
Flashback: 10 months ago
I stood there waiting on the edge of the beach house bar, waiting eagerly for Sam and Dean to pick me up. Tonight was the night, I had it all planned out, even Dean helped me. We decided I'd go to the bar and pretend to be drinking there but really it was a plan to ask out Sam. I'd tell him to come to the balcony, and ask him right there, while moonlight showered us. Hopefully he would say yes, but there's no telling.
"And what is a pretty lady like you doing here all by yourself?" A dark voice asked, I look over to see a drunk red head man checking me out. It was Carlton Mathews, one of the rich men in the city. I remember him because we questioned him about the murders, turned out it was just vampires.
"Just waiting for someone." I responded and turned my gaze back to the sea, smelling the salty air.
"Well maybe me an you could have some fun.." He steps closer, I could feel his hot breath against my neck. Politely I refused by stepping a foot away.
"I'm sorry I have my eye on someone else." That didn't stop him, he got closer once again, grabbing my wrist harshly.
"He can't treat you like I can, he can't fuck you like I ca-" I pushed him back.
"Keep your hands to yourself!" I turn to walk away but he turns me around and a sharp pain goes through my stomach. He stabbed me once, twice, three times, blood drooled out of my mouth and onto my shirt.
"So you thought it was Vampires killing the people in this town? No no sweetheart, it was me, a warlock. You see, I need pure souls for my spell to work and well there's only ten purest souls in the world that I need. Which yours is one of them..." He leans closer and whispers in my ear, "Sorry not sorry..." Now this part I don't understand, he pulled out what looked like a cigar and pressed it down on my skin while chanting Latin, a language I was never able to learn. When he was done, he threw my body over the railing and I plunged into the water. I desperately tried to go up for air but I couldn't the waves by the balcony were to strong. Swim with them, swim with the waves in order to reach the shore, that's what Sam had told me once. Luckily the shore was nearby so I was able to swim to it just like Sam said. I stepped out of the water, with blood travelling down my body and my wounds burning from the salt. I pulled out my phone, which thank god for the water proof case, and started texting Sam to hurry. I didn't get to send it, because when I looked up, there were more men. They beat, stabbed and battered me till I was dead, till I took my last breath...
"Y/n?.." Sam waved his hand over my face, trying to get my attention. I snapped back to reality, his face showed worry, he knew I was thinking about what happened. "C'mon...let's get you cleaned up." I nodded and started to strip, not caring if Sam was watching. I don't think he cared either because he helped me out of my bloody clothes. When I was naked, Sam helped me step into the shower as he turned on the hot water. I stood there, enjoying the feeling of the water run down my skin, the feeling of becoming cleaner by the second. The feeling of Sam's hand wondering up and down my back as he stepped into the shower, naked along with me. After he helped me clean up, dirt, blood and now dead worms down the drain, he began massaging my muscles. I moaned in pleasure as he massaged my shoulders, back, sliding his hands down my stomach as he stepped closer. His chest touching my back as he stopped when he got down to my lower region, I turned around to see him bright red once again. I guided his hand further down my body, down to my thigh as I pulled him closer. Kissing his lips, he lifted my thigh and I hooked it around his hip.
One hand was placed against the wall as his soft lips touched my chapped ones. The water running down his back as he hovered over me, covering me with his body. My hands traced his muscles, up his chest and to his hair, where I tugged and pulled. His hand that was frequently pressed against the wall, made it's way to my other thigh, lifting me up so my back was against the wall as his hands were holding me up. His chest touched mine, making me crave more, wanting more. I pulled back for air, his forehead rested against mine.
"Sammy...I wanted to tell you the night that I...you know...I wanted to tell you that I..I love you.." He stared into my e/c eyes with list over coming his. Immediately his lips attacked my neck, making me moan as he sucked and nibbled at the skin. Roughly his hands gripped my hips tighter, possibly causing a bruise but I didn't care. With in hand holding me up, he lined himself with my entrance but first looked at me in reassurance. I nodded and he slowly slid into me, making my walls stretch at his size. Both of us cursing a long string of profanities. He moved his hips against mine, our skin making the tiniest bit of sound as they slapped together. Over time he went faster and harder, I screamed his name, digging my nails into his back.
"F-Fuck Sam..." He grunted as he went faster, making me closer to the edge. "Sammy! I'm close!"
"M-Me to-Oh fuck!" He growled, and he cummed inside of me, neither of us paying attention to that fact.
-Time Skip (Cause I'm tired)-
I dried my hair with the white towel Sam had provided for me. His hair already magically dry as he walked in with the pair of clothes that had been on my bed.
"Here." He said as he handed me a pair of my old lingerie and long sleeve shirt that belonged to him.
"Thanks.." I take them from him and begin to put them on as his eyes never leave my body. It turns out they packed most of my stuff and put it in storage, which I'm glad they didn't throw it away.
When I was done, I look up at Sam who had those puppy dog eyes. He was now sitting on the bed, his hands running through his hair.
"...You ok Sammy?" I walk closer to him, he nods but looks away, biting his lip to keep him from sobbing. I wrap my arms around him while rubbing his back. He immediately responded by pulling me closer, never letting go, cause he was afraid I'd disappear.
"Sammy it's not your fault." I stroke his hair, while kissing the top of his head.
"I should've been there...I-I..." He cried, he lifted his head "I lost you...I lost you Y/n..all because you wanted to tell me you loved me...the reason I've been sleeping in your bed was because I wanted to smell you. To remember your scent because I had begun to forget it. I forgot how your voice sounded, how you smelled, the only thing I could remember was the cold dead stare that you had in your face when we found you...I couldn't do it Y/n..I couldn't cope with the fact that you were gone..I can't lose you again..." I was shocked, I've never seen Sam this vulnerable before. Well I have, but that was when Dean went to hell. I slowly place my legs on either side of his, straddling his waist and kiss him.
"I'm here, Sam. I'm here...and I never plan on leaving you again."
Part 3 will be posted within the week. So stay tuned for the next chapter.

FINAL DAYS PART TWO
Jason Todd x reader
AN: alternate universe where the world is over throw by a deadly virus that raises the dead.
Three years ago
The ice berg lounge
————————
If I could melt into this room, I’d move around as easily as smoke. I'd be the haze of laughter and the smiles. But reality is not like my imaginary world. I’m invisible , nearly the shade of the room's walls and if my eyes weren’t widened with nervousness , I’d blend in. As the night goes on, I'll become more comfortable , just another intoxicated spirit lost in the glow. Right now though I’m a wallflower, back pressed against the wall with my cup close to my chest. The club shimmers like the Northern Lights; the dry-ice sculpted building blushes in an array of blues. The music is played over the lounge floor. The gleam of the camera flashes all around from outside. I rest my hand on the wall's artwork. It’s a painting of an older version of Gotham. I feel the dried paint brush my palm. Suddenly a stranger bumps into me and my liquid splattered all over the painting “Shit.” I gasp. I stand up unsure of what to, the stranger disappearing into the crowd. “Stupid, so fucking stupid.” I mumble repeatedly to myself. A sharp smell of earthiness wafts towards me, The sweetness of cool autumn air. I can’t help but follow the smell, I turn around to a younger man. His blue eyes stare at the painting , eyebrows quirking up questioning. I bite my lip looking him over, he had a tousled of dark black hair. His eyes were mesmerizing , flecks of green mesh with the blue. His face was strong and defined. I was broken from my trace when I noticed his serious expression. “You know this painting was a gift.” He says, taking my cup. His hands are cold against my skin. “I’m-I’m sorry!” I stuttered, suddenly filled with panic. “I’ll repay you.” I say, holding his hands tightly. He winces and steps back. “Sorry!” I say again flustered. “Please, I’ll tell your boss personally.” He looks me over as if it’s this exact moment he’s really taking me in. Again he surprises me by smiling. “He already knows.” He whispers. My tongue becomes twisted , tied by nerves. “How-How...” I trail off. Suddenly I put the pieces together, visibly paling. “You are...”
“The owner, Jason Todd.” He answers. The room begins spinning. I look down to the floor, hanging my head in embarrassment. My nails dig into the skin of my arms. Suddenly I feel him take my hands gently away , holding them against my side. “Hey, it’s nothing to worry about.” He reassured me. “Besides you can always pay me back.” I sigh trying to settle myself. “Okay, if you tell me how much it cost, I’ll write you a check.” I take my phone out, opening my notes to take down the price. “It’s about 3500.” He says. My heart sinks to my stomach and I pale again. He sighs irritated. “How about we talk about this after the party. Here.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black card and key. “This key will operate the elevator, this card will let you into my main waiting room . Leave them on the my desk and wait for me. “ I take them from him, his hands freezing me from the touch. Before I can say another word he disappears into the crowd. The party passes in a blur. I found myself at the bar the rest of the night, I wasn't drunk yet but I could easily give the impression that I was. The bar-tender was conversational between drinks, eyes dropping obviously to my low-cut neckline. Slowly through the evening guests began to disburse. I walked inching myself closer to the elevator. When only a few remained, I used my key to leave upstairs. The elevator opened directly into his private office, stunned I walked forward hesitantly. My heels dragged against the floor. I placed the key and card on his wooden brown desk. I moved to the balcony overlooking the city. The office was painted the same blue like the rest of the building , decorated with red furniture and a large fish tank. I watched the fish swim for a moment, tapping the glass trying to get their attention. The door suddenly swung open scaring me, I jumped up freezing. Jason walked forward slowly stopping in front his desk, his hand gliding across the surface. He smirks, “Did you have a good time?” I smile, maybe too widely. I walk stumbling over my feet feeling weightless. I trip over the leg of the desk falling forward but before I hit the ground he catches me with ease. Lifting me up again. “You're drunk.” He says, holding me steady. “ No! Not drunk, maybe a little tipsy.” I giggle uncontrollably, hands sliding down his back. When he tenses I move them back up holding his shoulders. “You shouldn’t be drinking without company.” He says. “Take a seat on the couch. I'll join you when I pour myself a drink.” I manage to walk across the room wobbling slightly with each step. I collapsed into the couch dizzy. My eyes look around the room noticing small details. The small cracks in the ceiling, the softness of the couch and small loose threads. Jason sits next to me offering a drink. I shake my head no, he laughs and downs both. “Why did you come to the lounge tonight?” He asks.
“I was supposed to write about my experience here.” “And? ” He gestured to me to continue. “It’s enjoyable. Maybe way too enjoyable.” I laugh. “I can’t believe all this is yours, your return has been one of Gotham’s many surprises.” He nods in agreement. “You get used to these things living here.” He says, lightly tapping his fingers against the glass. I shrug, as I brushed my hair from my face. “I didn’t grow up here.” His expression showed confusion and interest. “I grew up with my mother in the country.” I say. He tilts his head in curiosity waiting for me to continue . I sigh rubbing the back of my neck uncomfortably . “My mother died when I was eighteen and left me her land out south. I was thankful but I could barely manage and ended up taking slow jobs to keep our home. Time goes on and my father returns for me from his separate family, he claims I couldn't keep the place on my pay and that I should give it to him. I do and he sells the land, and sends his kids off to school and I was left with nothing.” Jason huffed in disbelief and I hummed. “I know. Anyway, I lived with my father for some years until I found a place of my own. I managed to weasel myself a suitable job at the local news, working as an assistant under Vicki Vale. Tonight was supposed to be the biggest moment of my career , but now I can’t even recall how I got here.” I grunted softly, biting the inside of my cheek. He stares at me taking in my words silently. “I lost my mother too when I was pretty young.” He admits. I look at him, our eyes meet but I can tell he’s looking beyond me somewhere lost in memories. “I understand more than you can imagine. “ he smiles sadly, clearly forced. “I guess were two of a kind.” I say. We stare for a moment at each other.
“You know,” He begins sliding close to me. “I didn’t come up because I saw you destroying one of my prized paintings.” I smirk. “Then what was the reason?” I shift closer to him. “Out of everyone at the lounge you seemed different .” My eyes widened from his confession. “I’ve been wondering all night why that was.” Suddenly I began to notice him leaning in slowly, waiting for me to close to space between us. So I do. His lips brush mine softly. Not innocently, but passionate and demanding. I want to pull away before I lose myself but I can’t. I smiled, my heart fluttered as I clasped my hands on the buttons of his suit hesitant. He kisses my neck and my resistance crumbles. A hand runs through my hair, as the kisses become harder and more urgent. Another hand slides around my waist, and pulls my dress zipper down slowly. As I kiss his neck in return a wave of pleasure runs through my body. I kissed his lips softly again. “Maybe I can give you a private interview.” He mumbles into my ear. My body becomes warm again all over. “But, I have other plans tonight sadly. I’m sure we will be meeting again.” He winks, pulling back. Standing up he offers me his hand. I take it as he leads me to the elevator. One last time he kisses my neck whispering goodbye. “Come to think of it I haven’t even asked for your name.” He smiles. I grow fluster again from his gaze. “It’s y/n.” I say as the door closes.
Outside Eve, my roommate and closest friend, waits in the car, waving me over as I exit. Once in she bombarded me with questions, I told her about everything except for my moment upstairs with Jason. I can help but feel that my stomach has turned itself inside out, I’m jittery with butterflies . “Do you wanna grab something to eat before we go home.” Eve asks. “Actually yeah. I don’t think they severed any food there.” I realized for the first time that night how hungry I actually was. She scoffs, “Savages.” I laugh warmly at her curling my hair behind my ear. “Yeah a sandwich will be cool.” I lean up beaming at her. “I think that could work.” She nods happily as she reaches over to turn on the radio and begins flipping throughout the channels rapidly.
LISTEN TO THE RADIO. ( kinda loud)
Fear engulfs me , and I think my heart will explode any moment. My body shudders, and I almost vomit, I can taste saliva trickling down my throat. My hands begin to shake but suddenly Eve gently places her over mine. I look into her eyes, I can see she’s trying hard not to cry in front of me. “Hey...” she says soothingly. “I’m sure everything is okay and will work out. Let’s go back home, we’ll be safe there.” I can’t speak so I shakily nod in response. She doesn’t release my hand though as she begins to turn around. We cruise down the empty road quickly. She squeezes my hand constantly reassuring me. “We’ll be ok. Say it with me, we’ll be okay.” I repeat it to her softly.
We’ll be okay. We’ll be ok. We’ll be ok.
The car begins to slow and I start to panic all over again. “Hey-hey, what’s happening?” My breathing becomes uncontrollable and my chest squeezes. “Hey. We’re just out of gas we’re okay, I promise. We just need gas.” She holds my hands rubbing my knuckles . “You’re cold. Take my coat, I’ll step out and bring us gas.” I shake my head. “No, you need it” Her fingers gently press against my cheek. “I’ll live.” She says. Without any more input she takes her coat off and drapes it over me, then holds my hands again. “I’ll be fast. Faster than you can blink.” She promises. She gets out of the car and begins walking down the street. I sit silently, scanning around for movement as she disappears around the corner. I don’t remember when but I begin to drift asleep. The blazing of a car horn unsettles me and jerks me awake. My eyes snap open, darting around. I suddenly see Eve pleading with two men holding a gas can close, more cars than before are speeding down the road. The streets are flooded with citizens rioting and rampaging into apartments.
I hear one of the men shout, “Just give it to us, and we won’t cause any trouble!” Eve refuses and backs away. I hop out the car as one of them pulls out a small blade. “No, y/n!” she warns me. I stop as they both face , fear once again enclosing me in . “Just run y/n! Go!” Tears fall as my legs tremble. “Not without you!” I yell back. She only sighs softly. “Run please.” I stand there gazing into her eyes, my whole body stinging in agony. Suddenly two beams glow in our direction. “Car!” Eve shouts gasping.
At the last second, I jumped out the way . My body hit the hood of the car and I screamed as I flipped into the air . Somehow time slows and I see Eve frozen as the car swivels crashing into her, her bones break with an audible snap. My lungs contracted at the force of collision . My head smashed against the pavement while my arms and legs were flailing in the air. The world falls to darkness.

change up. | lee chan
inspired by change up by seventeen and grease, yes, the movie (you’ll understand why in a second don’t you worry)
university au!
nerd!chan x class clown!y/n
-
chan spent his times in his books, in his studies, in ‘always looking in the future’. he never took a break. but towards the end of his senior year of high school, his parents wanted to reward his hard work and studious efforts. it was post-finals, he finished, he got into the university he dreamed of.
he was free, finally.
so the trip began, his family packed their bags and the road trip to Daecheon Beach from Iksan. chan and his younger brother remained silent most of the ride, chan's brother playing on his phone, occasionally showing chan the new character he unlocked.
"you're going to fry your brain because of those games," chan scoffs, lifting his head up from reading.
"you're going to become evil because of all those scary books you read."
"then, let me."
the two brothers laugh and slowly immerse themselves into their activities and as the sun sets, the two fall into a deep sleep.
four more hours later and the sun began to warm chan's face, they have arrived.
y/n's parents allowed her to pick this year's summer family vacation, her older sister picked last year and her older brother did the year before. they've been to the us, europe, japan but she just wanted to stay home. but her family just didn't allow that so she picked the beach.
"THE BEACH? Y/N ARE YOU KIDDING?" her sister wasn't here for that, but her brother backed her up, "hey less money spending for us then. we wouldn't need to exchange money, buy flight tickets, bla bla blah."
"exactly." y/n proud of her decision.
"alright, i guess we could go visit my hometown's beach then," y/n's dad shrugs looking at her mother, who was nodding in agreement, "ok, saving money this trip, I like it. we could stay at mom's house then," it was set.
y/n packing her bags, excited to just bathe in the sun, swim, eat her grandmother's food again, this was her trip.
the car ride was absolutely chaotic.
y/n gained the entire back seat to herself with her two older siblings stuck ripping each others' heads off in the middle seats.
"I WILL GIVE YOU TWO MY LAST TWO POCKY IF YOU SHUT UP RIGHT NOW."
"ok bet," her brother held out his hand as his little sister handed him a strawberry pocky packet and her older sister then received her chocolate pocky.
"thank you," y/n bathes in the silence as she goes back to her drama.
the two met at y/n's grandmother's restaurant. y/n was peeling oranges as chan's family walks in, if you're offered to earn some money on vacation, you take it, y/n dropped the peeler, telling her grandma she can take this table.
chan pushed up his glasses as he looks up at the possibly cutest girl he's ever laid eyes on. she was definitely she was shorter than him, her hair held back in two braids, she kept her pen behind her ear and she looked just like how chan envisions the female characters in the classic novels he reads.
"hi welcome to kitchen by paradise, i'm y/n and i will be your server today and if you have any questions about any items on the menu, i'll be more than happy to recommend you anything! now, could i get you all anything to drink?"
chan's mom ordered water, his dad got a cola, his brother banana milk and chan didn't have a clue.
"and for you?" y/n says as she turns her attention towards chan.
"u-um. um. do-do-o you guys have any specialty drinks?"
"oh yeah! we grow our own oranges so we have a whole specialty of drinks. we have an orange-hibiscus iced tea, an orangeade, an orange-pineapple refresher and an orange mint sunrise."
"could i get the orange-pineapple one? please?"
"of course, that's my personal favorite," y/n smiles and chan could've sworn his heart melted, "i will get those ready for you guys and again, if you guys have any questions, call out for y/n!"
"thank you!" chan's parents chimed in as y/n walks away.
"channie has a crush channie has a crush."
"i will drown you." chan glares at his little brother as his cheeks began to flush.
chan never knew he could fall so easily, i guess this is what happens when you're not focused on studying instead of girls, but this charismatic waitress got his attention.
chan watched y/n peel oranges and make the drink he had ordered, almost feeling bad because the drink looked so tedious to make. he saw the tray of drinks coming their way as she finishes pouring the yellow-orangey iced drink.
"here we go!" she places the drinks at the table, handing each drink to its rightful owner, "so are we ready to order?"
y/n took everyone's orders and y/n couldn't help but giggle at this nerdy guy stuttering ordering his seafood bibibimbap.
he's cute i can't deny it.
"alright let me repeat your guys' order and i'll send this to the kitchen!"
-
chan's family finished their meals and had left while y/n was on her break, disappointing chan, so he jumped to this opportunity. his 18 y/o heart couldn't believe himself that he left his number for this cute waitress he just met, i mean she probably is a local here and i'm here for the next two weeks.
y/n couldn't believe either. she smiled that that dorky kid thought she was cute, so she saved his number, texting him around sunset.
to orange boy: hey! this is y/n!
to server girl: hi! i'm chan i can't believe you actually saved my number ha
to orange boy: i just had to thank the guy who called me cute and also thinks my favorite drink is good because its our least popular haha
to server girl: thats surprising its rly good omg
to orange boy: so are you free tomorrow?
to server girl: i think my family is just hanging out tmr why?
to orange boy: my grandma is sending me to the market tomorrow to pick up some ingredients and i know you're here for vacation and i know im just a stranger but idk want to explore the coast tmr?
chan couldn't believe it, in his 18 years of his life, he is being asked to go out. with a girl. and she isn't trying to steal his study book.
y/n couldn't believe herself, she just asked a stranger to go out with her.
to server girl: i'm down wanna pick me up?
to orange boy: tmr 12pm i'll bring us lunch
to server girl: sounds like a plan, so whats your favorite color?
the two spent all night getting to know each other, learning they're the same age, chan was older by a month and a half, y/n's favorite color is every color and said some picasso joke making chan laugh in his hotel room. they both felt like they've known each other for years.
the next day came and y/n packed her backpack and her scooter for the day, writing down the list her grandmother has told her the night before and then sending a text to chan for his address.
"I'M TAKING THE SCOOTER!" y/n yells as she runs down the stairs, "TEXT ME IF YOU NEED ME!"
her family all replying as they hear her leave.
as she makes it to the garage, she ensures she brings the second helmet.
this is a vacation. the wind blowing in her hair as she follows the directions to chan's hotel. her dark blue scooter shimmering in the sunlight and she arrives in front of chan's hotel, rich kid huh?
to orange boy: outside by the lobby!!
chan was already in the lobby for the past ten minutes, didn't want to look like a complete weirdo and come out right when she texted so he waited for a good minutes before walking out. he was wanted to be casual, didn't want to screw anything up with her.
"hey! chan over here!" he walked out seeing the pretty girl from the restaurant on a blue electric scooter? taking off her helmet waving her hand around. he smiled and waved back as he walked towards her.
"this is tomi, my trusty stead," she smiles proudly at her scooter making chan stifle a laugh, leading y/n to laugh at his poor hiding of a laugh, "this is yours, hop on!"
"did not expect this to be the start of my day," he laughs as he puts on the helmet, he gets on the back of the scooter and before y/n turns on the scooter, she grabs chan's arms and to his surprise, wraps them around her stomach, "we're going fast so i don't want you falling off," she turns and smiles at him. what am i feeling right now? butterflies swarm around the two teenagers' stomachs, falling in love before they've even gone out.
"oh o-ok."
and they were off.
y/n parked the scooter in her usual spot, the noise of the market sang to her and before getting off, she introduces the market, "welcome to daecheon market where old men try to peddle tourists and where local teenagers find the best clothes AND one stand has the BEST fruit produce."
"y/n i think i should just call you fruit girl because you seem very enthusiastic about them," chan smirks
"i dare you to, orange boy."
"alright fruit girl."
the two laugh as they barely even notice chan's arms are still around y/n, y/n begins to take off her helmet right before she bumps chan in the face with her helmet.
"OH MY GOD! i am so sorry chan oh my god im sorry oh my god i-"
"y/n its ok really," chan laughs at her worried look, "i'm all good no bleeding see?"
"alright im still super sorry i kind of forgot i had a passanger with me," she nervously laughs, im such an idiot what is wrong w me wtf y/n
chan hops off and helps y/n down, "thank you, sir," y/n bows.
"you are very welcome madam," chan bows back, leading them both to laugh once more because of their dorkiness.
"here hold this," y/n opens the scooter compartment and hands chan a camera, "thats my prized possession, keep it safe." she pretends to glare at him but ending up laughing anyways, "you're on picture duty and i am on food duty," y/n pulls out a picnic basket and a large water bottle, "before we explore lets eat!"
y/n leads chan down to a secluded area next to the market, "my siblings and i love coming down here and eating lunch and playing ball. its our secret hideout, and you are a new member of paradise cove, mr chan."
"i'm honored," chan couldn't believe how comfortable he felt around her, a stranger that he had a very long text conversation last night about their favorite colors and whether or not aliens exist. y/n couldn't believe either. why did she feel so bubbly around a kid she met on the job at her grandmother's restaurant?
chan helped her put out a small picnic blanket from the basket and y/n began to pull out the food, “so i remembered your order from the other day and grandma pulled through and made some more this morning and a special touch, an orange-pineapple refresher. dig in!”
-
their picnic was nothing but boring, time passed so quickly while they talked more about the city and high school and where they want to go for univerity, and what they want to be. a convesation nether of the two have had with another human being. they both took some pictures while they were at it, y/n always doing some silly pose when chan had the camera and chan always looking away from the camera. they were comfortable with one another.
“so, let’s explore the market shall we?” chan standing up, offering his hand to her, she was hesistant at first, “come on y/n i don’t bite,” he laughs, looking away. feeling odd with his hand out for so long, he looks back at her smiling this time, “i’m feeling a cramp coming on”
standing up, she grabs his hand and pulls him close to her, both of their faces flushed now. y/n had NO idea what she was doing, “can i?” she looked at his lips and then back up at his eyes, prepare for any reaction
“yes,” once y/n heard his answer, his hand caressed the side of y/n’s face and pressed their lips together, almost melting into the kiss. y/n felt her cheeks burn up, the kiss lasted a few seconds but felt like an eternity. pulling away, the two laughed with their eyes closed and foreheads pressed against each other, “so the market?” y/n slowly opened her eyes, seeing the flustered boy in front of her interlocking their hands together.
“i thought you were the romantic,” he smiles back.
-
two spent nearly everyday together. y/n told chan she didn’t live in daecheong, they both knew they were both on vacation and the day one of them was leaving was soon appoarching them. “what will you do without me?” “cry.” “shut up chan” “you asked i answered~!”
chan didn’t want to believe but neither did y/n. their two weeks was up, y/n helped chan pack. “are you really going to cry?” “y/n you’re my first kiss, my first love, my first crush, the first girl that actually has gotten my attention so what do you think?” “now, you’re going to make me cry.” she pouts “y/n you have my number, i have my license, you have a kickass scooter. we have ways to still see each other even if that means our universities are miles apart, we can do this.”
-
to orange boy: i miss you
they couldn’t do it. the long distance lasted about a month and then school started.
to server girl: i’m sorry
chan was at yonsei university and back to his old ways. head in the books, no partying no social interaction just studying. this physical therapy major wasn’t moving an inch.
now, what chan didn’t know was y/n was ALSO at yonsei. this visual arts major was the biggest party animal on campus. she ruled frat parties and she was a good students. her professors loved her and her charm.
- ten months later -
HALLOWEEN
“CHAN! you have to come dude!” chan’s roommate, xuxi, begs him. xuxi was the polar opposite of chan, same age same major COMPLETELY different social class.
“no ‘xi for the last time, i’m not a party guy.”
“chan please dude, its a costume party, nobody will know its you.” chan began to consider it, when was the last time i had fun?
“what are you dressing up as?” “i’m going to be capt. american because im going as the avengers with mark and the other guys. if you don’t want to be recognized then wear a mask, be a masquarade ball dude? idk wear a suit and a mask, be that DUDE”
“i’m in.” here we go lee chan
to server girl: finally going out with the boys for the first time hope you’re well i miss you
y/n read the text almost immediately, “i wonder where he’s going?”
“who?” y/n’s roommate jungeun asled as she’s doing her makeup.
“some summer fling, he just texted me after like three months.”
“he’s more than a summer fling hon if you saw his text so fast.”
“shut up”
“kiss me,” jungeun stuck her tongue out at her, “so what are you dressing up as y/n?”
“poision ivy, mark said they’re going to be the avengers and so i’m showing him up and being dc’s sexiest villian.”
“you’re such a heartbreaker miss y/n let the boy breathe, he may have cheated but-”
“but nothing! he treated me like a one night stand and i wanted more! im going all out!”
-
chan looked at himself one more time in the mirror and xuxi walked behind him in his captain america outfit, “my son you look so fucking good,” pretending to tear up
“shut up,” chan rolled my eyes, sitting back down on his bunk, “should i still go?”
“YES! you look good dude! can’t even recognize you, you look so different and the contacts? you’re really hiding your identity with this one channie.”
“this is the only night we get to be other people so,” he puts on his lacey masquarade mask he bought from target, ‘let’s go.”
xuxi wraps his arm around him, “LETS FUCKING GO!”
-
“MISS Y/N YOU DID THAT HONEY!”
jungeun and y/n nearly in shock of how well this costume curves around her body.
“green is your color girl,” jungeun sighs, “you knock them dead baby.”
“you look amazing yourself j OMG ms daphne over here.”
“I’m finding my fred tonight ok?” she smiles as she ties her scarf around her neck.
y/n places her red mask on, “i’m heading out!”
“HANG ON!” y/n was practically out the door before jungeon runs out, “ok ready.”
“let’s go fuck shit up.”
-
the party was everything chan was not used to, drinking, loud music, people EVERYWHERE, you could say he was slightly overwhelmed.
you could say he also wasn't used to the attention around him, girls coming up to ask if they wanna hook up or take a shot with him which he declined all of them until she walked in.
ms poison ivy walked in.
it was about 30 minutes after the party started and y/n walked in like she owned the place, jungeon next to her, y/n walked in red heels and green latex in its full glory.
"i'll go get us drinks!" jungeon pracatically screams in y/n's ear.
"OK!" now alone, chan saw this as an opportunity, still not knowing who that was or even who he was in this moment he walked up to her.
"hi!" y/n was drawn back but the handsome stranger in front of her
"HI!"
"I THINK YOU LOOK REALLY PRETTY!"
"THANK YOU! I THINK YOU LOOK PRETTY HOT YOURSELF! LET ME GUESS, a VAMPIRE?"
the music got increasingly louder as this conversation went on so chan yelled back, "NOT EXACTLY, IM A MASQUERADE BALL HOST"
y/n felt eyes beaming her up and down and she saw him, mark, and before he could come any closer, y/n kissed this handsome stranger in front of him.
chan had no idea what was going on but he really didn't care anymore, this kiss began to be a full makeout session in the middle of the dance floor.
"IM SORRY BUT DO YOU WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE?"
"YEAH I DO ACTUALLY"
both of them walk out of the loud frat house, "so who do i owe this honor to mr masquerade man?"
"chan, i'm chan. how about you?"
"i'm sorry did you say c-chan?"
y/n hasn't heard that name in what feels like ages until today.
"yes? is something wrong?"
was it really him?
"no its just i knew someone named chan awhile back, ha." she sadly smiled.
it can't be him chan was never this bold.
"ah i see, how about you ms poison ivy?"
"y/n"
"y/n huh?"
"yes, what about it?
"do you still have that blue scooter?" chan takes off his mask and turns to face the girl he's been wondering about for so long.
"c-chan?"
"long time no see huh?"
"i-i-i didn't even recognize you? where're your glasses? did you get your braces off too? your hair's lighter, you look really good, chan," she sighs in disbelief.
"college does stuff to you i guess," he nervously rubs the nape of his neck, "and you? wow. i didn't think someone could look so gorgeous in latex." he smiles all goofy.
"chan."
"y/n?"
pulling herself into his chest, "i've missed you, im sorry for being an asshole, im sorry for saying those things i shouldve held on im sorry im-"
"nothing is your fault y/n, look at me," he pulls her out of his chest, "i'm here now! we just needed time i guess," he lets out a small laugh.
"now you're the jokester mr lee."
"lets restart. hi im chan."
"hi im y/n," she smiles and takes his hand in hers, "lets never leave again."
"yes ms poison ivy."
“never call me that again.”

Word Count: 8,982
Genre: Angst, Smut, Floof
Warnings: Love making, pretty vanilla (not my kinkiest work but I decided with the theme it should be kept kinda soft)
Summary: Being a single mother had gone smoothly for the most part so far. Ten years living in bliss with your beautiful daughter. However, when you run into her father and his family, your world is shaken up, and it seems you two have a lot of catching up to do.
Everything happens for a reason. That's what you've always told yourself. Something good will come your way. You'll find love. All the little lies you've told yourself every day for the last ten years echo through your mind, keeping you composed when you feel like breaking. The only things that keep you sane these days are those thoughts and your little girl, Sooyeon. She is the best thing in your life. She is your whole world. She is your love right now.
"Mommy?" You hear her soft voice call out from behind you. "Yes, Sweetheart?" You ask, setting down your wine glass as you sit up on the couch. "Can you help me with this? I don't understand what they're asking me to do." She pouts, holding her papers out towards you. You smile warmly, patting the edge of the couch. "Of course. Come sit." You beckon, her small form bouncing as she takes her seat on the ground next to you. This is your night, almost every night. She was smart, but she knew when to ask for help, and you gladly accepted, helping her with her homework.
Over the years you've watch her grow into a beautiful, smart, sweet young lady. These past ten years since you had her had gone by way too fast for your liking, and you wish you could slow time so she won't grow up and leave the next time you blink. She's very kind hearted, offering to help the old woman down the hall with her groceries. She's absolutely adorable, and you know she'll grow up to be stunning. Just like her father.
After she finishes her homework she gets ready for bed herself, you tucking her in and kissing her goodnight before relaxing back into your usual spot on the couch, sipping your wine. It's nights like this, after Sooyeon goes to sleep, that you wish you had someone, a companion, to keep you company. It's sad to admit, but you hadn't been with anyone since him. Maybe it's because you're very picky about who you bring around Sooyeon, or maybe it's because you've never moved on. Either way, all you knew was that the best thing you can do is drown yourself in wine and try to forget.
It's Friday after school, and as your weekly tradition stands, you let Sooyeon pick something fun to do together. "Mommy, can we get ice cream?" She asks, holding your hand as you walk through the crowd. "You know what? I think that's a great idea." You pull her closer to the side. She smiles so brightly it puts the sun to shame, a bounce in her step as you make your way to the small ice cream shop you've been going to since you were a child.
The bell rings as you push the door open, the welcoming atmosphere sending a wave of nostalgia through you. "Alright sweetie, what are you g-" You stop in your tracks as a familiar, normally soft voice floods your ears. You look up, gasping softly as you look up to counter, a family, parents and two kids, stand there, the man on the phone. Your daughter runs, looking at the ice cream through the glass as the employee greets her by name. "No, I don't care how much they want! We can't lose this deal!" The man shouts into his phone, your daughter jumping at his stern voice. The fear on her face pushes you into mom mode, running over and placing your hands on her shoulders soothingly. You barely trust your voice at this point, but to calm your daughter, you speak.
"Hey! Can you not yell please? You're scaring my daughter." You say sternly, grabbing his attention. As his eyes meet yours, his entire face softens, his plush lips parted as he stares at you. His eyes never leave yours, the soft brown eyes you've missed for years, longing for them to fall on you again, were finally trained on you, and you had no idea what to do. You hear a faint voice on the other end of the phone, the man's lips quivering slightly. "Honey, come on, we need to hurry, you know I have a nail appointment in less than an hour and we have to be done soon so the nanny can pick up the kids. Let's go." The wife urges, sighing when her husband doesn't respond. "I swear you're such a spaz. I can't believe I agreed to a marriage with you." She spits, digging into his pocket and grabbing his wallet herself.
You glare at him, uncomfortable under his stare. "Sweetie, go ahead and order. It's alright." You coo to your daughter, patting on the back while turning away from him. "Uh, yeah, I need to go. Just do whatever you need to do." He clears his throat, as if you breaking eye contact has broken him from his trance. "Uh, actually, I wanna pay for them too, is that alright?" He asks the cashier, his wife grimacing. "No, please. I have quite enough money thank you very much." You stutter, but he shakes his head. "I never said you didn't." He bends down, getting level with your daughter. "I'm sorry I yelled. Please, pick whatever you want. It's on me." He smiles brightly, sending a wave of ache through your chest. Sooyeon doesn't think into it, quickly ordering the most expensive sundae on the menu. "Sweetie, I think that's a little much, don't you?" You stutter, irritated by his offer. "Please, it's no trouble. I really want to do this." He insists, already running his card.
You roll your eyes, allowing it to happen, no longer fighting it. Your daughter beams as she gets her sundae, carrying it with two hands to a table. The entire time you sit with her, you feel uncomfortable as you notice his eyes trained on you. Is this really happening? Never in a million years did you think you'd be in a situation like this. You thought about it, even feared it, but you never thought it'd actually happen. Living through it, this is the second worse experience of your life. You bounce your leg nervously under the table, waiting anxiously for Sooyeon to finish so you can leave. As soon as she's finished you pull her out of there quickly. For some reason, you wish he'd call out to you, begging you to stay, but he doesn't. It hurts, but you're not surprised.
Once you're safe in the confines of your home you sigh in relief. "Mommy?" Sooyeon asks while hanging her backpack up on the hook. You kneel down, smiling at her. "Yes baby?" You ask, rubbing her arm. "Who was that guy at the ice cream shop? He kept looking at you like he knew you." She says, and your heart skips a beat. "I don't know who he is, sweetie. Why don't you go play in your room for a bit before you get ready for bed, yeah?" You suggest, and she nods, obviously not satisfied with your answer but understanding.
As the night passes you feel on edge, the sight of him rattling you to the bone. Him and his family. His wife, and he even had children. How could you be so stupid all of these years? All this time holding out, keeping to yourself, your feelings for him still lingering, yet he seems to have completely moved on. He has more kids. Whether it be his father's wishes or his own decision, he still has kids. You can't help but think of what happened ten years ago.
"It's okay, baby. You'll do great. I'll be right there with you." He assured you as the nurses wheeled you to the delivery room. At 17, this was the absolute scariest moment of your life. Sure your mom and boyfriend were here, but fear hung in the air. Would it be okay? Did you do something wrong? Even through all of this, you knew that he would never leave your side. Even when the doctors decided you were going to have a C-section, he still stayed by you the entire time. After a while it was finally over, the cries of your baby somehow calming you. You lay there on the hospital bed, him placing soft kisses on your temple as your mother whispered praises. Before you could even hold your baby girl, the door bursts open, a very angry man practically steaming. "Kim Seokjin, what the hell is going on here?" He booms, glaring at his son. "Dad, I'm not leaving. You can't make me! I'm a father now and I'm going to stay here with Y/N and take care of my child!" Your boyfriend shouts, his grip on your hand growing tighter. "Like hell you are. Do you realize what a scandal like this could do to my company? You're coming with me whether you like it or not. You're going to marry who I chose and there is no way in hell you're staying with this tramp." His father spits, making you gasp. Before you know it, Mr. Kim has Seokjin in a hold so tight that no matter how hard he tries, he can't break free, struggling and shouting as he's pulled out of the room, your baby crying nearby. You sob as Seokjin calls out to you, fighting to stay, but rendered useless. That's the last time you saw him.
Sooyeon is in bed, fast asleep when your phone rings. You read the caller ID, and you can't believe it. After all these years, he still has the same number. Tears threaten to escape as you ignore the call. Sighing as it's over, your lip quivers as it starts up again. Seven times. He calls seven times in a row before you can't take it anymore. On the eighth ring, you reluctantly pick up the phone, clearing your throat before answering. You say nothing, not trusting your voice just yet, waiting for him to speak. "It's been a while, hasn't it, Y/N?" His voice sends chills down your spine, a pang of ache through your chest. "It has." You agree, your voice shaky. "You look great." He says, and you hum in response. "And, was that-" He cuts off, seemingly unable to finish his sentence. "Yeah. It was. Is." You nod, a soft whimper ringing through the phone. "Oh my God." He whispers, his voice cracking a bit. "She's beautiful. Just like her mother." He sighs, and you bite your lip, trying to hold back your tears. "What do you want, Seokjin?" You cut to the chase, hoping to end this conversation soon. "I wanted to catch up. Seeing you today, I just couldn't help but think about that day. I'm so sorry, Y/N. I didn't want to leave. After my dad pulled me out of there I-"
"No." You stop him, not being able to handle an explanation. "I don't want to hear it. Just tell me why you're calling right now." He sighs, and you hear rustling in the background. "I also wanted to know why you haven't cashed in any of the checks we've sent you." He admits. You nod, even though he can't see it. "I don't need your money. I get on just fine without your money." You huff. "Y/N, please. I want to do whatever I can for our daughter." He begs. "Yeah, well, you gave up that opportunity when you left me in the hospital." You spit. There's a moment of silence, before a shaky breath from his end has you almost breaking down. "What's her name? Please, at least give me that." He begs.
You mull it over for a few moments, sighing as you give in. "It's Sooyeon. Her name is Sooyeon." You tell him. "Sooyeon. You- You named her after my- why?" He stutters. "Because, your sister was an amazing girl and one of my best friends. I wanted to carry on her memory." You admit sadly. Kim Sooyeon had been your best friend for years, until she got in a car crash with some of her friends when you were 16. She didn't make it, and you were there every step of the way to comfort her brother, your boyfriend, Kim Seokjin. Even though you always hoped he'd come back after your daughter was born, you never thought you'd actually be telling him this. There are no words, only silence from your end and soft sobbing from his. "Y/N, you're just as amazing as you were back then." He sniffles, breaking your heart. "Yeah, well, I didn't do it for you. I did it for Sooyeon. Now, don't you have to get back to your family or something?" You huff. "Oh, uh, not really. Jungmeyon is out with God knows who and the kids are staying with the nanny tonight since I have an early meeting." He explains, and nods.
No matter how much you want to continue talking to him, your heart can't take much more. You don't want to know about how he doing or what his family life is like or any of that. If you can't be with him, you don't want to know. "Alright, Seokjin, is that all? I'd like to get to sleep." You sigh. "Oh, of course. Thank you for finally talking to me, Y/N." He says softly, you taking a deep breath. "Goodbye, Seokjin." You whisper before hanging up. You tilt your head back against the couch, trying not to break, but once the first tear escapes, you know it's all over. You break down, sobbing into your knees on the couch. You're glad that Sooyeon is asleep. She's never seen you cry before, and you don't plan on letting her see it until her wedding day.
After your cry, you pull yourself together, making your way to your way to your bed, needing as much rest as possible before you go to work.
It's been a week and a half since that day, and you easily fell back into your daily system. You hadn't heard from Seokjin again, and you can't tell if you're happy or sad about that. However, you do feel that in that phone call, you found closure. You feel at ease now, knowing that the day you always feared had finally blown over, and nothing bad actually happened. Now you can live your life happily. That's what you believe, anyway. It's when a certain couple walks into your boutique that you feel your world shattering once more.
"How the hell could you take me to this shabby little place? I deserve way better than this." The woman scoffs, looking around in disgust. The voice sounds familiar to you, and as you look over the racks of clothes, you see the woman that was with Seokjin at the ice cream shop the other week, with a man who is definitely not Seokjin. "I know, of course you do, but we're here to get clothes you wouldn't normally wear so we can actually go out to places together." The man whispers loudly, making her roll her eyes. "Still, don't you think even in disguise we should at least look good? Look at this shit. Polyester? Disgusting." She spits, causing you to shake your head.
They walk around for a while, and you just stay behind the counter, hoping they don't actually buy anything. There's only one other person working with you today and it was a newbie who you'd been training, so you busy yourself with showing her how to do stuff behind the counter. You let her ring up a few customers, showing her how to work the register, when the "lovely couple" comes up, a pile of clothes in his arms. "Hello." Your trainee greets them warmly. The man nods and the woman rolls her eyes, until they fall on you. "Hey, you're that girl with the whiny brat at the ice cream place the other day. You cost my husband ten bucks." She smirks, noticing your jaw tightening.
"Yeah, well, he was kind enough to offer, with at least one decently mannered parent your children should hopefully turn out okay." You smile, causing everyone to look at you in shock. "Excuse me, my husband is not a 'decently mannered' person. I'm way nicer than him. He's a cold hearted, selfish asshole that only cares about his job." She huffs, her lips in a tight line. 'That's bullshit. He's the kindest, most loving man I've ever met.' You think to yourself, surprised at how angry her words have made you. "Is that why you're here with someone else buying clothes to wear so no one recognizes you with another man?" She gasps at your words, placing a hand on her chest. "How dare you accuse me of infidelity! I want to speak to your manager right now! I'll get you fired and you and that stupid kid of yours will be living on the streets within a week." She cries, practically jumping over the counter. You smile politely, taking all of the clothes they picked out and putting the on the back counter.
"Ma'am, I am the manager, and I must say we don't serve snobby bitches like you, so I suggest you get the fuck out of my store, because I refuse to sell you anything." You smile, folding your hands in front of you. Her face is almost red, you're expecting steam to spill out of her ears. "Come on, darling, let's just go. We can't cause a scene, we can't have anyone noticing who you are." Her gentleman partner begs, holding onto her. You know she wants to do more, your sly smile only pressing her even further, but she spins on her heel, strutting out of the store. As soon as she leaves you sigh, rubbing your temples. "Uh, M-Miss Y/N?" Your trainee stutters. "Are we actually allowed to kick her out?" You nod, smiling. "If any customer ever gives you a hard time, like if they're super rude to you or threaten you or something like that, you are allowed to refuse service to them." You explain, and she nods in understanding.
The rest of the day goes fairly smoothly, you pick up Sooyeon from school, make dinner and help her with her homework. Once she goes to sleep, however, you groan loudly as your phone rings. "What?" You huff after reluctantly answering. "Do you mind telling me exactly what happened between between you and Jungmeyon today?" Seokjin sounded a bit irritated, setting you off. "Your wife came into my shop today and had the nerve to call my daughter a whiny brat!" You shout quietly, overwhelmed by rage but still attentive enough to not wake up Sooyeon. "Hey, she's my daughter too. Why did she say that?" He asks. "Because Sooyeon got scared and you bought her the sundae. Said we cost you ten bucks." You huff. "Oh my God. Y/N, I'm so sorry. I lost track of her a long time ago and she does this kind of stuff all the time." He sighs. "Well maybe if you paid more attention your wife wouldn't be out with other guys making trouble."
There's some silence, and you wonder if you've said too much. "What did he look like?" He asks. "Um, well, younger, but tall. Fit, but kind of baby faced. Dark hair and earrings." You explain softly. There's a hum in response yet, and you don't know why, but it makes you nervous. "So she was with Jungkook today." His voice seems darker, deeper than before. "Nowadays I can't keep up with how many guys she has. I think he's the newest one, a new employee of mine." He says calmly. Your mouth hangs open, completely in shock. "You know she cheats on you and you let her?" You ask. "Yeah. I mean, it's not like we love each other. Arranged marriages are weird, typically made to benefit the parents and further their business ventures." He explains, and you nod. "That's a sad marriage if you don't love each other." You pout. "Well, there's only one woman I've ever loved." You can practically hear the smile in his words as your heart catches in your throat.
"You don't, uh, you don't cheat, do you?" You ask. "Y/N, I'm offended." He gasps playfully, and you giggle softly. "No, I don't cheat. I've never found anyone that was really worth it, even though it wouldn't matter if I did." The trace of hurt in his voice breaks your heart, but it's at this point that you guys are just talking pretty casually, like two old friends just catching up. Then you remember what it actually is. Old lovers talking only because his wife must've complained about you.
"Seokjin..." You start, but trail off. "I miss that." He says, catching you off guard. "Miss what?" You ask. "You saying my name. Your voice, it's not much different from when we were younger. Maybe a little lower now, but it still sounds so sweet." He says, making your heart race. "Seokjin I-" "Y/N, say it, please? My nickname. Please say it." He begs, and you can feel tears stinging your eyes. "Jinnie..." You say, a small sob escaping your lips. "Ah, Y/N. I miss you." He sighs. You openly sob at this point, not caring it he hears. "Baby please, don't cry." He cooes over the phone, but you wish he was there holding you. "You can't say those things." You choke out. "You're a married man." "I may be married, but that doesn't mean I love her. I told you that. Y/N, I still love you. I've never stopped loving you." He says softly. "Someone's gonna hear you if you keep saying stuff like that." You whimper, wiping away your tears. "No one's here, darling. Please, stop crying." He begs. Try as you might, you can't stop the river of tears from flowing.
"Y/N, please, let's meet somewhere so we can talk about things. I want to see you." He says, and you shake your head. "No, Seokjin. You can't be caught with another woman. I don't care how much you miss me, being seen with me will ruin your image." You insist, much to his disapproval. "I don't care what people think of me. I want to do things that make me happy, and seeing you would make me happy. Please, darling. One date." He says. "No. We can't. I have to go. Goodbye." You say, pulling the phone away from your ear. You hear shouting from the other end, but you hang up without another word, no longer wanting to hurt yourself anymore.
"I just, I don't know what to do." You sigh, leaning back in your chair. Sooyeon plays outside as you sit in your mom's house, visiting for Sunday dinner. "I still can't believe that actually happened. I mean what's the chance of just running into each other at an ice cream shop? Sounds like some kind of fairy tale or something." Your mom chuckles, and you glare at her. "You're right, my bad. What did he actually say to you the other night?" She asks. "He said that she cheats on him all the time and he misses me and he never stopped loving me and all that kind of stuff." You click your tongue. "Did he sound sincere?" She asks.
His words ring through your head, and you nod. "Well, how do you feel about him? Have you still not seen anyone?" She asks, taking your glance at the floor as confirmation. "Y/N, he was a sweet kid. You need to take the chance, see how things go." She suggests. "Yeah but he's married! I can't see a married man!" You cry. "Sweetheart, your father was married when I met him." She sighs.
You look at her with wide eyes. You never heard anything about your father, and you turned out just fine, which is why you weren't worried about raising Sooyeon the same way. "What?" You ask, almost breathless. "Technically, your father is still married. I was young, very young, and he was older and charming. I fell for him and became his mistress, until I had you. After I became pregnant he wanted nothing to do with me. All of his words and promised were lies, but I was young and stupid and even though I shouldn't have believed them I did. You, however, you know Seokjin, and he's so sweet, I don't think he'd ever be able to lie to you. Besides, you already have a child together, it's not like he's going to toss you to the side if you get pregnant. I think it'd be a good idea to meet with him, even if it's only once. You need closure, Y/N. Going out with him should give you that."
Her words bounce around in your head, shaking up your whole world. Your father was an adulterer, and you never knew. You still don't know who your father is, but it hurts that once you came around he completely abandoned your mother. She is right though. She trusted lies, yet you know Seokjin, and you can tell he's sincere. There's no harm in at least trying, right? You nod, showing her your agreement. You both look out the window, seeing Sooyeon play with her toys. "Does she know about any of it?" Your mother asks, and you shake your head. "I don't want to tell her anything and give her hopes up. Maybe one day I will, when she's older." You reply. "I guess I'll give him a call later." You sigh. "Well hold on now. Why don't you go upstairs and talk to him now, and try to do something tonight, and Sooyeon can stay here with me for the night." Your mom suggests, and you lean over to kiss her on the cheek. "Thanks, Mom." You smile before rushing upstairs.
The phone rings a few times before he picks up. "Well, this is a surprise." He says, you hearing the smile on his lips. "I accept." You say. "Uh, what?" He asks, and you chuckle. "What you asked the other night. I accept your offer. Let's meet up." You smile. "Are you serious? That's great! Uh, when do you want to do it?" He asks excitedly. "Are you busy now?" You ask nervously. "No, no I'm not. I was just doing some paperwork but that can wait. Where are you? I'll come pick you up and we can go somewhere, wherever you want." He says, and it warms your heart how happy he sounds. "I'm at my mom's house right now. Same place. And please, text me when you get here. I have Sooyeon here and I don't want her to know right now." You sigh, and he hums. "I get it. Alright. I'll be over there soon. Thank you, Y/N. See you in a bit." He says, making you smile. "See you soon." You smile before hanging up.
You go back downstairs, nodding to your smiling mother, and she cheers. "So tonight?" She asks with the biggest smile you've seen on her in years. "Tonight." You smile and nod. "Where are you going? What are the plans?" She asks excitedly. "He said he'll pick me up and we can go wherever I want, but I think I just wanna go home. You know I'm not a very high end woman, I like simple things. We can just go home and if he hasn't eaten yet I'll cook and we can just catch up. It's not a date date, it's just, you know, catching up." You shrug, sipping your glass of water.
It's a nerve wracking wait, but eventually your phone beeps, the text saying that he's here popping up. "Okay, please, take Sooyeon upstairs and keep her distracted until I'm gone. I don't want her knowing about this." You say, standing up. Your mom nods, and as she grabs Sooyeon, bringing her upstairs after you give your daughter a kiss goodbye, you finally notice what you're wearing. You're only wearing jeans and a sweater, and you feel very underdressed, but then you remember you're only going home.
You take a deep breath, whispering words of encouragement to yourself before opening the door. Your heart practically skips a beat when you see him, dressed in a suit, leaning up against an expensive black car with the sweetest smile on his face. You smile back, hurrying to meet up with him. As you stand in front of him, looking at the face you've missed so much, you realize how much he's grown. He's gotten taller, he's matured, his cheeks no longer as puffy, his facial features finally filling out. By the way his eyes roam over you, you can tell he's thinking the same thing.
His arms reach out to you, but you only pat them, giving him a small smile. "Not here. When we get there." You say quietly, and he nods. He opens the passenger door for you, letting you climb in before closing the door and rounding over to the driver's side. As he gets in and the door is finally closed he looks over to you, smiling sweetly at you. You look so mature, even more beautiful than you were when you were younger, and he's almost speechless. "So, darling, where did you want to go?" He asks, and your breath hitches at the nickname. He said it over the phone, but now here, in person, only about a foot away from each other, it feels different. It feels completely real.
"Um, well, I'm not exactly dressed very well, so I was thinking maybe we just go back to mine? Have you eaten yet?" You ask. "Oh, uh, no, I guess not. I get so caught up in paperwork that most of the time I forget to eat." He chuckles anxiously. "Well then, we can go back to mine and I'll whip something up." You nod and he smiles, nodding back. The only words between you after that are just you telling him how to get to your house, which isn't too far away.
He follows silently as you lead him upstairs, unlocking your door and stepping in, his hand reaching past your head to hold the door open for you. You put your stuff down and look back expectantly as he looks around. "It's nice. Not too bad. You were right, you do do well on your own." He smiles, recalling your words from your first conversation. Now that you two are alone, standing in your apartment, you start to feel butterflies in your stomach as you stare at each other longingly. Your breath quickens, and everything from your past together starts rushing to you, but you bite back all of the tears and smile. This is a time to be happy, catch up, be together. "You hungry?" You smile at him.
You lead him to the kitchen, opening your cupboards to see what you have. You click your tongue while you look, and Seokjin steps behind you, his broad shoulders blocking your light. "Do you have chicken?" He asks, and you shudder. "Uh, yeah, in the uh, the fridge." You stutter. "And iceberg lettuce?" He asks, and you nod. "Well then, looks like I can make chicken katsu." He says, catching you off guard. "You make i-" You start and turn around, but stop once you realize how close he is, looming over you, practically trapping you against the counter. "Yeah, go ahead. Sit down. You seem a bit flustered, so I'm fine with cooking." He smiles warmly, and you look away as your face heats up. You nod, slipping past him quickly to sit down at the dining table to keep an eye on him, just to make sure he doesn't burn your house down.
He takes his suit jacket off, draping it over a chair before loosening his tie, taking it off as well and putting it over the jacket. You watch attentively as he unbuttons the top buttons of his shirt and rolls up his sleeves, bitting your lip as you take in the view. You hear a deep chuckle, causing you to look him in the eyes and realize, you've been caught. "You know, darling, you're not too bad yourself. Time has done wonders to you." He smiles. "Please, I don't look half as good as you." You giggle, and he laughs. "I think you look way better." You blush at his words.
Its pretty quiet after that, him concentrated on making food and you concentrated on watching him cook. "All done! Where's the plates?" He asks. You hop up, going to the cupboard and grabbing two plates. He puts the food on them and you grab the chopsticks and you both set the table together. "It smells so good." You smile, suddenly hungry again. "It tastes even better, try it." He smiles, grabbing a piece and holding it out to you. You look at him, not sure whether you should or not. It seems too flirty and he's still married. "Oh come on, Y/N, just take the bite." He sighs exasperatedly. You smile before leaning forward taking the bite as he smiles.
"Oh my God, it is good!" You gasp. "I told you! I'm not that hopeless, I know how to cook." He insists, sounding slightly offended. "Well you used to be terrible at it. You remember when you came over for my birthday and I was craving an omelet and you almost burned my mom's kitchen down?" You smile and he laughs. "That wasn't my fault!" He cried, making you laugh even harder. "You spilled the egg right on the burner and put way too much salt!" You shout, almost choking in your food.
Once you finish your food you put the dishes in the sink and grab a wine bottle and glasses before leading him to the living room. You drink wine and catch up, talking about family stuff and things like that. You tell him about Sooyeon and he tells you about his family life, how his wife has cheated on him since the beginning and how only one of the children, who you found out are twins, is his. Apparently she had sex with a guy and was afraid she was going to get pregnant, so she went home the same day and begged Seokjin for a child, to which he agreed only because of his agreement with his father that he must have one child of his own to take over the company eventually, and she ended up having twins with two different fathers. His life sounded awful and exhausting, but yours wasn't exactly much better.
"What is she like? Like what kind of things is she into?" He asks, referring to Sooyeon. You get up, motioning for him to follow you. You lead him to Sooyeon's room and flick on the light, a small gasp escaping his lips as he looks around. The walls are pink, there's a lot of stuffed animals, and luckily due to you asking her to clean her room earlier, it's all nice and neat, all her books and clothes put away. "It's adorable." He smiles. "She really likes pink? And stuffed animals?" You nod, and he seems so happy. "I can't believe this. I've always wanted a little girl." Your heart warms at his giddiness. "Well, you've had a little girl for ten years, Seokjin." You point out, and you can hear him gulp.
"Y/N," He says, grabbing you gently and turning you to face him. "I'm so sorry that I left. Please believe me when I say that I tried everything to come back to you, but my father locked me in the house until he found a girl for me to marry. I wanted to be there so bad but I was basically married immediately and of course, once I was married I took over the company and I couldn't come back. The most I could do was send those checks every month." He explains. You look away, not wanting to look at him in fear that you'd cry. "You could've done more. You could've tried to find me or call me or something and not miss the first ten years of our daughter's life." You whisper. "I know. Y/N, I know I messed up, but I'm here now so please, let me do what I can." He begs.
His hands cup your cheeks, making you look up at him, his eyes full of promise and hope. He starts to lean into you slowly, but before he can kiss you, you turn away, his lips connecting with your cheek. "We can't. You're still married." You remind him. "Can you stop saying that? Yes, legally I'm married, but it's not a love marriage. It's an arranged marriage. I don't love her." He says, but you just shake your head. "Y/N, I love you. I don't love her. You're the only woman I ever have loved and ever will love. I loved you before and it's only grown with time. Now we're here, together, and I still love you more than anything in the world." His words stir something inside of you, and before you know it, tears are falling down your cheeks.
"No, please, darling, don't cry." He cooes, wiping your tears with his thumbs. "I still love you too." You whimper, looking up at him. His mouth is hung open, reminding you of when he first saw you at the ice cream shop, but this time his eyes look watery. This time when he leans in, you let him, and it feels as if electricity runs through you as your lips touch. You sigh into the kiss, giving in as his lips move against yours. His thumbs caress your cheeks as he steps forward, slowly backing you into the wall. His body pressed against yours, your arms wrapping around his neck to pull him closer. Feeling him so close to you again, the same lips that you've been longing for against yours, your fingers tangle in his soft hair, gently tugging to make sure this is all real, and as a soft moan comes from him, you can feel yourself get lost in it all.
You squeal as his leg slides in between yours, his thigh brushing up against your clothed center. Your noise startles him, making him pull back. "Are you okay?" He asks, and you nod. "S-Sorry, just, kinda, uh, sensitive?" You stutter, making him smile. "Why's that, darling?" He whispers, brushing your hair out of your face. "Well, to be honest, I uh, haven't actually, been with anyone since, you." You admit, turning your head in embarrassment. "Really? Oh, Y/N." He sighs, pulling you back into a kiss. It's more passionate this time, his tongue flicking against your bottom lip to ask for entrance. You gladly accept, moaning into his mouth as his hands leave your face, trailing down your body to wrap around your waist.
His kisses trail down to your neck and he pulls you closer to him, your chest flushed against his. You gasp as he gently pulls your hips closer, gliding against his thigh. You moan softly, holding onto him as your hips start to move on their own, chasing any friction they can find. He grunts, apparently impatient and needy as he grips the back of your thighs. You hop up, wrapping your legs around his waist. You start to place soft kisses on his neck as he seeks out your room. He finally does, carrying you to the bed and laying you down. His body presses down against yours, pushing you into the mattress.
In a fury of hot kisses and clothes flying around, you both were quickly undressed, forgetting about everything else in the world and focusing only on each other. Seokjin sits back, taking in the sight of you laying beneath him, completely bare, and you admire his broad shoulders and toned torso, especially his stiffening cock. "Oh my God, Y/N, you're more beautiful than I remembered. Time really has been good to you." He says, licking his lips. "I can say the same about you." You smile, biting your bottom lip. He grips under your knees, bring them to rest by his hips as he leans forward, peppering your collarbone with soft kisses, tracing down to your breasts. You whimper as he takes one of your pert nipples into his mouth, his soft fingers tweaking the other. He sucks and flicks his tongue against it before switching to the other one, giving it the same treatment.
He falls next to you, leaning on his elbow as he catches your lips with his once more, his other hand trailing down your body to your lower abdomen, sending goosebumps over your body. "Darling, you said you haven't been with anyone since me, so tell me, what have you done to get release until now?" He asks softly, his hand lowering and cupping your heat. "I-I uh, I just have um, a little uh, quiet vibrator." You stutter. "Really now? So you haven't actually had anything in you for a while, is that right, Princess?" He asks. The nickname catches you off guard. He's never ever called you that, and it turns you on to no end, and by your squirming, he can tell. "You like the sound of that, Y/N? You like it when I call you Princess?" He cooes, and you nod.
"Well then, my Princess, seeing as you haven't had anything in you in ten years, I think it's time you get some relief, don't you think?" He asks. Before you can even answer his finger glides across your slit, burying in you as you gasp. "You're so wet for me, Princess. So sensitive. I've been waiting so long to feel you again." He says while placing kisses all over your face and neck. He adds a second finger, making you moan from the stretch. It felt so foreign to you, being something you haven't felt in a long time, but it was good. "J-Jinnie please." You whimper, your hips shifting on their own, trying to chase his fingers whenever they pull out of you. "What is it, Princess? What do you want?" He asks, his tongue licking up from your collarbone up to the back of your ear. "I want you. Please." You beg.
"I want you too, darling. So bad. You know, I'd really love to take my time and feel you, stretch you out with my fingers, taste you, make you cum over and over again, but I don't think I can hold back any longer. I have to have you now, Princess. You don't have any uh, protection, do you?" He asks. You haven't even thought about that. "No, I don't." You pout. After a moment of thinking he takes his fingers out of you, popping them into his mouth and savoring the taste before climbing on top of you. "Oh well, we already have one kid together, why not another?" He smiles. You playfully slap his chest with a gasp. "Ok, ok, if you want I can buy you some plan b or something in the morning if you really don't want to have my baby again, but I don't think it's such a bad idea." He smirks. "We'll talk about it later just please," you whimper, running your hands along his sides, causing him to shiver "make love to me now. Please Jinnie I need you." He sighs longingly at your words, cupping your cheek as he kisses you softly. "I will never, ever, say no to that." He smiles before gripping his member, guiding it to your entrance.
You let out a simultaneous moan as he pushes into you, your arms wrapping around his shoulders as his head falls into the crook of your neck. "Oh my God." He exhales, his warm breath fanning over you. It's a stretch, a lot different from when you were stupid kids messing around. This seems more real to you. It's not just kids sneaking around young, dumb, and in love. You're both adults now, matured and grown, and it feels so much different, but it's incredible. You lay there, still, soaking in the feeling of him in you, the love you feel, and the warmth his body is radiating.
"Hey." He whispers, cupping your cheek and looking you in the eye. "You okay? Do you hurt or anything?" He asks, and you shake your head. "Good. You're just, so, fucking tight that I was worried it was hurting you. Damn, it feels like the first time." He smiles, his hand stroking along the side of your thigh. "I-I think it's good. Move. Please move." You beg, moving your hips against him. He groans, biting his lip. "Whatever you want, Princess. I promise, you can always have whatever you want with me." He smiles, kissing you as he pulls out, just to grind back in. He gives you slow, deep thrusts, grinding sensually against you as you hold him tight, his hands caressing over your entire body as his lips swallow your moans, as if he's trying to memorize every inch of your body. His cock stretches your walls deliciously, just the right amount so it doesn't hurt.
"You feel so good, Princess. God, I've missed you so much." He sighs, his own soft, needy moans tumbling from his lips. "I've missed you too, Jinnie. I love you so much." You whimper, a tear escaping and rolling down the side of your face. He stops moving, wiping your tear and kissing your cheeks. "Hey hey hey, sh, it's okay, darling. I'm here now, and I'm not going anywhere. I'm not gonna leave my girls again." He cooes. "But, after this, you'll have to go back to her." Your bottom lip quivers, and he smiles sadly. "Only for a little bit. Y/N, I never wanted to be with her. I've only ever wanted to be with you. I'll go back, but only to hand her divorce papers once I get them from my lawyer." He says, and you gasp. "S-Seokjin are you-" "I'm serious, darling. I love you. I want to be with you." He nods, and you smile, hugging him tightly.
"Does this mean I can move now? I was kinda close before talking and now I really wanna finish and make you mine again." He chuckles and you laugh. "Yes, please. Please move. I'd like to finish and go take a shower, you're sweating all over me." You giggle. "Your wish is my command, darling." He smiles. He shifts, angling your hips up towards him as you laugh. "What are you, a geni-OH!" You cry out as he slams into you, surprising you as his tip brushes your g-spot. "Right there?" He asks with a smirk. You whine, nodding frantically as you grip onto his biceps. "Perfect." He smiles before thrusting again.
It's not as slow and loving as before, but his deep, calculated thrusts have him hitting you in the right places each time, driving you crazy. Your nails dig small crescents into his bicep as his fingers grip the sheets by your head. Moans, grunts, and whines all bounce off your walls, both of you completely lost in the pleasure his thrusts are providing. "Mm, Seok-jin, I'm g-getting-" "I know, Princess. Me too." He groans. He brings his hand lower, his thumb tracing circles into your neglected bud. Your legs tremble around his waist as you come undone, your walls squeezing around him. "Ooh fffffuuuu-" He groans, his arms shaking as he releases into you, his body falling on top of you as he finishes.
You catch your breath as his hand soothingly caresses your side, his plump lips presses small kisses into your neck and shoulder. "Are you okay?" He whispers, and you nod. "Good. That was so good, baby. So good. You're so good for me. I can't wait to really take my time with you." He hums, making you smile. He finally pulls out of you, making you whimper from the loss of warmth and the sensation of cum trickling out of your hole. He lays down next to you, you turning to rest your head on his shoulder his arm slides under you, your leg resting atop of his. "So, you uh, you weren't just saying that you'd divorce her so I'd go through with this, right?" You ask nervously. A playful gasp escapes his lips, slightly scaring you. "Now Y/N, do you really think I'm the type of man to lie to get a girl to sleep with me? I haven't had sex in six years because I don't do that."
"So, you mean it? You're really gonna divorce her?" You ask. He nods, smiling as you hug him tightly out of excitement. "I meant it when I said I'm not leaving my girls again. I want to be here for you and Sooyeon and make up for lost time. I know I've been a terrible father and I want to make it up to her and give her everything her little heart wants while making sure that she and her mommy are loved very much." He says, placing a kiss on you forehead. "Thank you, Seokjin. I just hope it's not too difficult to get done." You sigh. "What, the divorce or loving my girls?" He asks. "Both. I don't know how divorces work and it's an arranged marriage so I really have no clue and Sooyeon, I don't know how she'll handle it." You reply. "Well, we'll figure it out. I promise, everything is going to work out just fine.
~2 Years Later~
Seokjin was right. Everything did work out. The divorce was longer than you expected, but it ended up with his father being pissed, which made you happy. Even though one of the kids was his, since they were still twins they didn't want to be separated, so they went with their mom, Seokjin's child coming to stay with him every other weekend.
As for you, you were happily living with Seokjin in a large penthouse with your daughter. You were relieved at how easily she caught on to things, being much more mature for her age than you thought. Seokjin had easily won her over, giving her a huge room to herself decorated however she wanted with everything she could dream of, exactly as he promised. You and Seokjin were doing very well too, still seemingly in the honeymoon phase even two years into your more mature relationship. Additionally, you were expecting a new bundle of joy in just a few months, a nursery already set up and decorated, ready for baby number two.
Even with all the changes, you still kept your tradition with Sooyeon, and today was Friday, which meant she got to pick something fun for your little family to do. Luckily, even though she was in her preteen phase, she wasn't moody and against family time, so she picked to go to the carnival that was in town. It had been an amazing night, even though you couldn't ride any of the rides. You walk hand in hand with Seokjin while Sooyeon happily lead you around the fairgrounds. She stopped in front of the ferris wheel, an excited smile spreading on her face as she looks up. "Dad! Dad!" She cries, turning to smile at him. "You wanna go on there, sweetheart?" He asks her, but she shakes her head. She runs over to him, making him lean down so she can whisper in his ear.
"Ah. That's perfect. Good eye, kiddo." He smiles, patting her shoulder. You cock an eyebrow at them when Seokjin lets go of your hand, turning to face you. "You know, the perfect place to do this would be at the top of there," he says, pointing to the top of the ferris wheel, "but, in your condition we can't take that chance, and I can't wait any longer, so down here will have to do." He smiles, and you tilt your head in confusion. "Y/N, you are the only woman that I have ever truly loved, well, except for this beautiful girl here. I love her too." He smiles, pulling Sooyeon to his side as she hugs him. "Anyways, I knew from the moment that I saw you in that hallway in school so many years ago that you were the one for me. I've always wanted to make you mine truly, and I really hope that you want to be mine."
He grabs your hands, giving them a squeeze and smiling as he looks down at you. "I want to make you happy for the rest of our lives, and take care of our family and be the best father, and husband, that I can be." You gasp as he drops down on his knee, pulling a small box out of his pocket, opening it and smiling up at you. "Y/N, please, will you marry me?" He asks. You sob, completely shocked. You look between him and Sooyeon, whose standing behind him and smiling expectantly. "Y-Yes! Oh my God yes!" You cry, tears rolling down your cheeks. "Yes? Yes!" He shouts, jumping up to hug you tightly. Sooyeon joins in on the hug, you and Seokjin parting enough for her to slip in.
You pull away, wiping your tears with one hand as Seokjin takes the other, sliding the ring onto your finger. It's absolutely beautiful, and you honestly couldn't be happier. This felt like the actual start of your life together, being together as one, which is everything you've ever dreamed of.
