Woo! I've seen alot of sbg royalty aus so I thought I'd share my own

(frog? using aus as an excuse to draw Benlor? That doesn't sound like me, definitely not)

Anyway, in this au Ash's family is the primary monarchy of their little village, Aiden and Ben are from a wealthy family in a different town and end up visiting for one reason or another (I'm not gonna pretend to have properly thought out the logistics of this thing)

Anyway Taylor runs a masonry and Tyler is a knight/guard for the banners but occasionally (especially when Ty is ill) they will switch places in order to make sure they still end up getting the money from the knight job (since their dad died they struggled with money)

Logan works as an "advisor" for the princess- which is basically just Ash's families' excuse for letting Logan stay in the castle with them (him and Ash have a very brother-sister relationship)

Onto the photo! Taylor basically sneaks into a high class party/ball (used as a way to introduce the Clark family to the high society of the town) with Ash and Logan's 'help' (they both told her it was a bad idea but she wouldn't listen to them) and, of course, ends up dancing with Ben (Aiden was promptly cheering from the sidelines)

About a week later, the Clarks are staying at the castle and Tyler is ill, so Taylor is in his job. At some point she needs to go and tell Ashlyn that Logan needs her, she knocks and instead of Ashlyn answering, who else but Ben Clark himself!

remember that one episode of sbg where Aiden wanted to go into ashlyn's dance school and ashlyn said no? what would you hc if she agreed and Aiden stayed for her class?

He would be kicked out within five minutes of it starting LMAO 💀, whether it’s by Ash or the teacher is up for interpretation but neither of them would be very happy to see him.

— Everytime Ashlyn would even lift her leg this man would be in awe, he would start hollering and doing dolphin claps that disturbed the lesson. Not to mention he would cut off the instructor with “wow Ashlyn, I didn’t know you could bend like that!”

— Queue red-faced furious Ashlyn.

— it’s to note that Ben would be beside him the entire time except he would absolutely be pretending he does not know Aiden and hiding a book in front of his face or something. Girls are would actually misplace his embarrassment as shyness and find him cute.

— Eventually Ashlyn gets fed up and drags Aiden along as she leaves class early. She gives him the silent treatment the entire car ride which leaves Aiden pretty confused.

— In the end, Ashlyn thanks him for his encouragement but warns him that he’ll probably never be allowed to return again.

It would be so funny if there was a ban list on the bulletin board with Aiden’s face plastered on it with big red marker saying: DO NOT LET IN!

i feel like tyler feels so kind of resentment towards his mother. i like to think of tyler and marianna’s relationship similar to katniss and her mother. (at least during the first hunger games book)

he doesn’t hate her. but he’s upset because she was there, but she was absent at the same time. he acknowledged that fact she was grieving, as they all were, but they could���ve all done it together as a family. instead, she was incapable of doing anything, and left the twins to fend for themselves.

when she started doing simple things like chores again, the twins were happy to have her back. but tyler didn’t trust that she would stay. he kept doing what he had been doing all this time, incase she decided to go absent again.

he had to take care of himself and taylor, so letting his guard was necessarily a option for him.
