Hey, I’m new to Tumblr, but I’ve seen your characters around the internet and I love them so much!! Everyone has so much love for Machete and Vasco and your art is so cool to see! Do you have any tips for an aspiring artist and creative writer?

Hi! Welcome to tumblr! I'm glad to hear you like my dogs :]

I'm not really a writer, and I also completely lose my confidence when I'm trying to explain my art processes. So this is probably an obvious, unhelpful platitude at best, but one thing I've realized is that you should allow yourself to be self-indulgent. If you're the primary target audience of your own work, it generates passion and keeps you inspired and motivated. I like to believe that people who see your creations are more likely to respond to them positively if they can sense that you're putting your heart and soul to them.

#if you have any special interests that you're really knowledgeable about you can try including them in your art/writing somehow #even if it seems kind of an odd match they may merge into an interesting and potentially unique combination #like this Vaschete era I'm going through is a product of lifelong interest in animals history art and religion #just jamming all of my favorite topics and themes in there #be forgiving to yourself when things fon't work out as smoothly as you had hoped #and try to cultivate a positive relationship with the creative process and end results #meaning if you have a habit of putting yourself down and saying your art/writing sucks #try not to do that #it can lead you to resent the whole hobby and stifle your potential #I dunno this probably comes across so vague and nebulous #answered #sagepuca #tldr: be excited about whatever you create #make art/stories that you yourself would look at and think 'this is the coolest thing it's like it was tailored just for me'#also like I'm just some guy you don't have to take my advice these are just some things that have helped me personally #your experience and approach might be different

Thinks about my next series again... I drew the icon for it!

I'm planning to have it launched within a year! I'm hoping for summer 2025. I want to make a prelaunch page before Time and Time Again ends so people can subscribe if they're interested, but I'm worried the series return would be too early...

#my art #not sure if i wanna tag these... hrm #i wonder if alt text shows up in search results.... shudders #well anyway. i wanna ramble about these!!#for willy mafton: i've been working on designing more of the human cast. mainly all the big name important ones #it's been a slow process + a little challenging but i like getting the chance to practice drawing faces! :]#in regards to His design specifically.. it's very much based off of his movie apperance #but with a reference to that Classic sprite thrown in #bc i thought making him a little cartoony and inhuman would fit him :] but idk im not an expert on his character or anything #about the rabbit lady: i forgot how i had that idea initially but it ended up looking so fucking cool tbh #im always a fan of making her design less of a feminine eye candy type of design and more of a Spooky Murderer type >:3c #it also gave me the idea to try making some similar designs for the glams...#but if i do that im not gonna be giving them that vintage rubber mask look... since they're meant to be super flashy and high tech looking #so i was thinking they could have faces with more of a silicone texture.. and that have a style based more off of their in game art work :]#so they'd be like giant dolls with weird moving faces rather than having a vintage animatronic look #also that van in the bottom middle is 100% a homage to a specific user i wont be mentioning but iykyk HFJZJFJF #ANYWAY the 🌞🌜 stuff: dont be weird about it please HFJZJG #im aware that these tags are very easy to ignore but like. genuinely pls dont be weird about them #dont romanticize it. its not meant to be ''y/ndere'' or anything like that #its actually a bit personal to me so like... interpret it as you like but be aware its not meant to be a happy or positive thing #anyway i think thats all i have to say... i've been trying to branch out a tiny bit regarding the things i draw #it's always nice to challenge yourself even if its tough... especially if its tough!!#i mainly draw just for my own sake but i hope ppl see something they like here #these tags got so fucking long oops... i'll stop now JFKZJFKSJGKSJG

fellas we're once again wrestling with imperfect vs. perfect contrition and why imperfect contrition with a firm resolution to not sin again and promptly receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation doesn't save

#I get that it doesn't but !!!! I don't like it and I think its bad and I'm mad at God #it's definitely not because I only have imperfect contrition and get afraid to die #but like if its a gift from God #so much more of a gift perfect contrition is #but if cooperating with grace only results in imperfect contrition #why is it still damnable #his ways higher than my ways i know the line #this didnt save my other tags ahh!!!#but take this example from movie recently #man is a lapsed catholic #hes murdered people etc. very many grave sins #he has a terrifying near death experience and in the hospital asks to have a Priest come #because he wants to confess his sins #he ends up being denied one and murdered himself #to me (vibes) hes motivated by genuine belief and fear (imperfect) but hes also made #TANGIBLE STEPS to try and receive the Sacrament #he clearly wants to be reconciled and is trying #and the most we can hope for him is the same extraordinary salvation we hope a muslim has or an atheist?#intuitively that seems wrong idk #also moots i just realized this might be scandalous etc. I'm trying to religious submission of mind and will #pls tell me if i ought to delete and i will #also tbf on some level I would get the extraordinary salvation is all we can hope for bc of the efficacy of the Sacraments #EXCEPT for baptism by desire #and specifically the fact that motivation to be baptized does not come into consideration #you die before you can be baptized when you've expressed a desire and are trying to be baptized?#saved. no questions asked.#thats what makes this tough for me

the thing i love about bill cipher is that even after i've learned all of this stuff about him, seen him at the most vulnerable he'll ever get, seen him at his most innocent, i still can't give a flying fuck about trying to justify his actions. yes he's traumatized, yes he was twisted into what we know today, and while it gives a semblance of context to why he did what he did, it doesn't matter. he still ruined ford's life. he still drove and baited multiple humans to suicide. he still tormented every human he saw as his ticket out of the consequences of his own actions. he still took delight in his actions. he was willing to commit genocide for fuck's sake!!! (freezing all of the humans into statues). trying to explain away what he did does not get rid of what he did, but it certainly puts it in perspective. you won't be catching me being a bill apologist any time soon <3

I DIDNT THINK SO!#anyways. the point is that everything the fandom uses to villanize ford is in fact a result of circumstances outside of his control #and while you can argue that bill is the same; compare the damage they have done. consider how their trauma impacted them as people.#think about how bill took his trauma out on everyone around him. about how even now he still feels no remorse in that prison.#think about how ford tried to FIX his mistakes. think about how he is human; how he acted in spite of his misery #think about what that fucking triangle did to that six-fingered old man.#....okay! that was a lot. lets hope no one sees this!!

#my art #lps #cosplay tag #lps popular #brooke hayes #brooklyn hayes #lps popular fanart #lpsblr #cosplay #littlest pet shop #cosplay cat ears #handmade #handmade animal ears #handmade tail #halloween costume wip #lps gijinka #i guess??#ignore the bloody looking wig head i tried dyeing the front of a cosplay wig with sharpie in highschool and it did not work very well lol #the ears took about 10 hours to make and the tail took about 4 #went full adhd manic hyperfixation mode and worked on the ears for 9.5 hours nonstop #the first session of making them i had to stop because I didnt have the yellow fur yet #this is the first time ive made anything like this and im pleasantly surprised with the results!#really happy with the piercings #there is fur everywhere. pretty sure i inhaled some whoops #you cant see the gradient on the tail very well in the pics but its there i spent like a half an hour chalk pastelling that #the tail is poseable too! I was able to put safety pins at each end so I could add the devil tail tip for her party of the century fit #accidentally made the ears too big and couldnt cut them down so i decided they'll look more like my design for her #other than that minimal mishaps on this project yaaaay #I hope the second set for my friend turns out just as well ;)#hint hint :)

#video #elevenlabs #i've been fucking obsessed with these stupid fucking elevenlabs dubbed videos #specifically a friend sent me a ytp sexer dub and i absolutely lost it (laughing)#so i wanted to try a few videos out myself to see what the site would do with them #for some reason my first thought was to use bozo dubbed over #''i... i...... i.... ah..... i hope nobody leaves'' fucking killed me #i only did like 5 videos to see what it'd end up generating but usually if the audios too clear it'll just repeat what was said #except in the ai voices that it uses #the second video i did was just bozo dubbed over again. but that version is like really evil for no reason #third video was hotel mario high quality. and it basically says what they already say but with weird annunciations and the likes #fourth video being meet the sniper. it wasnt exactly what i wanted but it did alter a few lines #the final one just being hotel mario again but lower quality. which did result in me laughing really hard #granted. all of them made me laugh really hard to some extent #for the record. i didnt do any alterations except just make it dub from english to english #i don't know if there's more you can do with it. i don't think i can make any more without making a new account #unless the limit resets every week or so

Genuary2024 prompt Dream/Imagination

Why Gene signing "Like a Commet" (Steven Universe) for this first prompt?

Well cause you need a lot of imagination to think it XD

Kidding, uhm this is confidential information but I kinda been thinking about making a comic with Gene as the protegonist, I won't say anything else. Second protagonist Jimmy Jr. Okay nothing else. Is about Gen in his first year of High Schol. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THIS.

So the comic start with Gene dreaming of his first day in high school and the dream is Gene singing "Like a Comet" in front of the whole school everyone calling their name and cheering for them.

Rebuscado? Rebuscadisimo. Which mean over elaborate and overthinked. But it was the first thing I thought.

Oh and there's some reference to "The Frond Files" and other episodes specially on Gene's keyboard.
