Hot take perhaps, but I genuinely hate Shen Jiu. Like, he's not a bad character necessarily! I never particularly liked him but I thought he was a well written character, all things considered. But the infantilization and complete disregard of his cannon character has genuinely made me want to write him out of svsss!! And he's not even the first or only character I've had this thought about!!!

i think my favorite "raditz-gets-brought-back-somehow" au is the idea that he accidentally gets brought back when goten is a kid and while everyone else is understandably wary given the last time he was around (even if they're no longer afraid of him because EVERYONE is a million times stronger than him) goten latches onto him like a goddamn leech. constantly hanging from his hair and poking at him and following him around and whatnot. calls him "mr. radish" that eventually changes to "uncle radish" when someone finally tells him his relation to goku. raditz is NOT happy about this at ALL but he really can't do anything because goten is a fucking super saiyan and could annihilate raditz with his pinky finger. so he just has to deal with it. and eventually things sort of smooth out and raditz becomes goten's weird gruff uncle that just kind of sits there while goten crawls all over him and gets all bristly when someone accuses him of caring about another person. and i say he's goten's uncle specifically because i think if he and gohan come within 50 feet of each other gohan goes mystic and stands there radiating the world's most tangible rage until raditz fucking skedaddles. gohan's gentle heart vs. the fact that raditz was quite literally the domino that triggered the absolute horror that was his childhood FIGHT

#eventually they can stand in the same room together without gohan flying off the handle and raditz almost immediately #ruins this by saying something like 'ha i guess you really aren't the little crybaby you were when you were a child anymore'#and goten has to fly up in gohan's face like WAIT DON'T KILL HIM DON'T KILL HIM DON'T KILL HIM HE'S TRYING TO BE NICE #and gohan's just like. Okay. and walks out #and then goten's just standing there like 'I think that went great Uncle Radish!' and raditz wonders if it's too late to go back to hell #gohan #goten #raditz

so i played through the entirety of tgaa2 with runo's DLC outfit it's what he canonically wears in my mind and it's absolutely great!! he's so snazzy and it compliments both susato's DLC and kazuma perfectly. i absolutely adore chuunosuke

❗️ The production company Studio WabiSabi announced that their actors Boun N., Prem W., Santa P., Sammy C., Yacht P. and Stamp P. have terminated their contracts and will no longer be artists under the company on April 15th. Shortly after, GMMTV announced the 6 of them as newly signed artists, along with the disclosure that BounPrem's upcoming BL Vampire Project is now being produced under GMMTV, who now also own all broadcasting rights; WabiSabi will function as a co-producer. New S. stated on Twitter that the decisions had been long in the making, as well as the fact that WabiSabi no longer functions as a management agency for actors and is now a mere production company. He also denied the rumors that the company is shutting down. Shortly after the transfer of the Wabi Sabi actors, actor Fluke Jeeratch (formerly Pongsakorn) joined GMMTV as well.

According to ZUM News, there was supposed to be a Korean SKAM remake based on the Norwegian original, which was however cancelled due to unknown reasons. Fragile was created as a substitution.

i’m assuming jamie was written out for real-world logistical reasons but i don’t think he could or should have come back anyway. when the attack dog goes rabid and gnaws through his own fucking leash there's nothing much anyone can do but stand there and watch. you can train a dog to bite for you but once they've got enough of a taste for blood they're going to stop giving a shit about who they've got between their teeth so long as there's something to tear into. maybe malcolm never had jamie on a leash in the first place. maybe jamie didn't bite because malcolm asked him to. maybe he just liked the taste of blood. malcolm hired a loyal dog and got what he paid for because at the end of the day jamie stayed so loyal that it became the death of him. loyal to the party. not malcolm

#thank you this has been the laziest media analysis post of my career #dbtag #media analysis #something something a game to goku is a threat to vegeta etc #there's a pinned thought here about how Vegeta also didn't learn about the dragon balls until he was ?? 30?? and so all loss is permanent #and goku has been familiar since he was ~12 and hasn't faced a permanent consequence since he was 10 years old and even then he got closure #sometimes I think about how Vegeta saw Trunks die and how Krillin was mad at him for reacting since they could fix it with the dragon balls #but Vegeta has very limited experience with the dragon so to him in that moment that was permanent and Trunks was Dead. Forever.#And we talked before in a 2am post about Vegeta having never experienced grief born of love and I stand by it because his feelings then wer #still very new and very odd and not something he'd accepted until that moment so it was raw power but not as powerful as it could've been #all this to say in my heart of hearts I think Vegeta deserves to retire at the end of super (if super continues) -- not as a warrior #but as an infantryman. he's a prince and now he's got his domain and his family and his planet to look after and I think he deserves #to go home and stay home and help piccolo bully gohan into training more often when goku inevitably leaves to hop the multiverse #geets wanted to take a sabbatical when Bulla was born but didn't get the chance because Freeza coming back freaked him out too much #but whether freeza gets a redemption arc or gets defeated -- Granolah's arc seemed to shift his perspective on being the strongest #and I just grips fist I just think it would be a really nice full circle for Vegeta to inherit his throne in a way he never expected and #finally get his kingdom to look after and protect in the way that he was looking forward to being king of his own planet all those years ag #Goku's got Broly and Jiren and Hit and all the others to keep him busy and happy now -- and if Freeza gets a redemption arc he'll probably #continue playing slap-ass with Goku for the rest of his life -- and Vegeta's got Gohan and Piccolo and Goten and Trunks #I just think them getting a nice bittersweet 'This is where we part ways' would be really nice for both of them because !!#They couldn't have done this without each other. They couldn't have known this kind of life was possible without each other.#So they swap lots and live happier than they ever imagined they could be #especially since Vegeta has proved to himself that he can close any gap Goku creates in progress that's not a concern anymore #And obvs the door's always open!!
