every time people talk about whats ‘canon’ or not its so obvious that little to none of mcyt fans have actually played/done roleplay on a minecraft server(or similar situation) themselves
Like girl the ‘timeline’ is whatever you want it to be for your character. Show up to whatever events you want. Maybe you play every day or maybe you log in once a month. Who gives a shit lol we are here to have fun.
and i very much think fans need to keep in mind this same mentality. Continuity is nice and good but also its whatever the roleplayers want their story to be. And no matter what continuity errors this could cause for the overall story I have genuine faith that these guys can Yes-And their way out of any situation. And for fans making fan content you can make the timeline whatever you want. The world is your oyster. Literally who gives a shit.

i feel like this is how bertie explains anything. he’ll spend ten paragraphs on exactly how and why he knows gussie or madeline but ask him to explain his own plans and he starts eating cigarettes and babbling about the code of the woosters

NATLA did Katara's actress dirty
So I discovered that Katara's actress in the ATLA live action, Kiawentiio Tarbell, is actually incredibly talented. She is Ka'kwet in "Anne with an E," a show that I have not watched, but I found this clip and oh my god can she act. This was so heartbreaking that I cried.
(cw: Ka'kwet's story is about indigenous children being forced to attend "residential schools" in Canada, so there is violence in this clip, including against children)
I don't know what happened in NATLA, whether it was the writing or the directing or Netflix!Katara just wasn't the role for her. Seeing her acting in "Anne with an E," she probably would have been amazing if NATLA didn't nerf Katara's character to basically nothing.
(also please consider reblogging because this deserves to be known!!!)

Feel free to ignore this but as someone who also goes to art school, I find it really interesting how other art schools also have a “don’t date your peers” sort of faux pa. Like so many people I know (including me) refuse to date anyone else who goes to my college 😭
I wonder why that is tbh, small school thing maybe?
being so serious i didn't have anything against dating other art school peers when i first came here and i think most freshmen dont but once you have one or two art school relationships under your belt you realize why all the upperclassmen avoid dating each other like the plague

the thing is i think any jeanscott (as a couple) origin that is not just running with the silver age story line is inherently a little more boring. like the silver age did not execute on this to the FULLEST, but in retrospect the idea that they get together while jean is lying to him about charles being dead is such a cool framing of their relationship and each of their relationships to charles. and most other versions of it aren't that.

sometimes it hits me in the face that a real person fact about me is that, when I was a child I was a villager. I lived in a village. I walked to the next village over, every day, to go to school
When I say it like that to an american I feel like I have the backstory of a dickensian orphan

as a kid in utah, i remember really clearly that touch typing was a thing schools started teaching you as early as second grade, but my friends in arizona just. didn't ever learn and some of them are now teaching themselves to as adults. so now im kind of curious...
(It doesn't matter if their lessons actually stuck for you, I'm just curious if they even tried lol. feel free to also add in tags when they started teaching you and/or what general area of the country you live if you're comfortable!)
