i think there could be a period of time where maki's relationships with yuta and nobara overlap and basically how i see this happening is some number of years post canon maki and nobara are seeing each other casually and maki lets nobara know that she is seeing someone else. and this is theoretically fine. and actually what happens is nobara becomes consumed imagining all the cool other girls maki could be seeing and when she finds out its yuta she is so baffled and confused that it immediately snaps her out of any jealousy whatsoever.
