As the anon who sent that gossip blurb I am gnawing on the bars of my enclosure.
A woman’s reputation is her worth in the upper echelons and to all outside observers Gojo didn’t just marry down, he married the scum at the bottom of the barrel.
The petty mind games of politics aren’t just at his front door, they’re creeping through the halls of the estate.
He’s been a piece on the board but he’s never actually had to pay attention, the thing between his legs (his dick and his war horse) meant he had an advantage, but now he’s married, now the verbal cat fights of the women and the elderly are right up in his face!
What’s it like in his head? Genuinely. Cause so far he seems quite naive to the interpersonal manipulations and soft power approach of “high society” was he just doing his own thing until his mother said “you WILL be married by the turn of the season!” Cause if it is, than oh boy, he’s gonna have some crises.
this!!
i loved how you phrase his dick and his war horse because to gojo, the gossip that surrounds him has always been in his favor. people either swooned over him or talked about his bravery, something far different from the gossip that surrounds reader.
and like mentioned before, on paper reader should be this high-esteemed lady of the upper echelon. she is her father's daughter after all, and he's near in ranks with the gojo family, but because of her mother true heritage, she might as well be a peasant they found on the street.
so arranged!gojo didn't really see this sort of gossip coming. sure he knew about her history but i always imagine that he was raised to treat people with respect (also because his mom always had a soft spot for reader), so when he finds out people are talking not only outside of his home but in it ?? he's thrown for a loop
and the funny thing is reader is so jaded about it that she doesn't even notice it. he feels the stares and hears the whispers but reader has gotten so good at being in her own world that she's able to ignore it
so when he enters back into high society with not only this woman that everybody else seems to despise, but he actually is beginning to care for her, it's almost like he's experiencing what reader first experienced when she was a kid and had to grow up fast to realize that everybody was out for her

Tumblr media
The journey of motherhood had been both a tumultuous and joyous ride for Neytiri ever since her first pregnancy.
Being a chief’s daughter and also one of the clan's best hunters from a young age, she had hardly thought much about her future, which at the time had already been set up for her after her sister’s unfortunate death.
Neytiri had not started her life with expectations of becoming Tsahik, being the second daughter - so she had proven herself as a hunter and warrior until the sudden new responsibilities were thrust upon her shoulders alongside the engagement with Tsu’tey. Someone who she had viewed as an older brother, yet both of them were forced to accept the new arrangement in the following grief of Sylwanin’s death.
Jake had flipped her entire world upon entering it - something she had viewed negatively despite the signs of Eywa branding him as someone special, not to be ignored.
And he had turned out to be the missing piece in her life; the one who filled her lungs with fresh air and kept her afloat during hard times.
His presence alone comforted her, even across the room engaged in conversations with other people. Neytiri always knew she was safe with Jake nearby, and the same went for him. They were each other’s protectors no matter the situation. And now their protection had expanded over five children of their own.
Motherhood had been a scary thought during her first pregnancy with you. Having been conceived in the midst of uncertain times, yet filled with a new undiscovered love. Jake had been shocked to his very bones at the revelation, only a few days after the final battle against the sky demons.
She remembered the silence omitted from him, one of the very few moments Neytiri felt the fear of being left behind before a beautiful grin had filled his face and he had lifted her off the ground in joyous laughter, and abruptly changing into a frown as he had released her before muttering in slight horror, ‘You went to battle pregnant?’
She had simply hissed at him in slight frustration, reminding him quickly of who she was before he could go on a rant about her safety when the war was all over with.
Maybe that was why Neytiri found herself admiring her oldest daughter more and more these days as you grew older. Where Kiri was precious herself, she was more peaceful. A healer at heart, that reminisced her of Sylwanin.
Her little Tukteyri was still a child, too young to know who she was as of yet and still exploring her personality - but Neytiri could see the hints of an adventurer growing in her youngest daughter.
You were a spitting image of Neytiri at that age.
Fierce, unyielding yet loving and a nurturing sister at the same time. Although she had heard Jake sigh many times on how much you reminded him of his human brother. You loved your siblings to the ends of Pandora and Eywa herself despite your relentless teasing.
Neteyam - her sweet boy - was a silent protector. Observing and supportive in his comforting silence, especially to Lo’ak, who always gravitated towards his older brother like a fly to a light.
You were more Palulukan in that sense. Aggressive and vocal in your protective stance, eyes narrowed in a hidden promise and never letting any of your siblings out of your gaze in the presence of a hostile.
As a sister, her other children saw you as someone as steady as a mountain. Never to be moved when it came to their safety. But to her, and Jake especially, you would always be their little girl.
Their first little flower in their blooming garden of love and life.
Pausing in her making of Tuk’s new clothes, Neytiri cast her eyes across their hut in the common area where you were seated, busy fletching new arrows and sharpening all your personal weapons gifted to you through the years as little Tuktirey came racing in through the entrance in a beeline towards you.
There was a graceful smoothness in the way you were quick, yet casual to carefully put the sharp objects aside and out of harm’s way of the younger Sully and she threw herself in your lap with a large, dramatic pout.
“What’s up, Tuk Tuk?” You grinned down at her, smoothing back her braids. “Thought you were helping out Kiri with the herbs?”
“I was, but then it got boring when she and grandma started talking about plants and their many uses…” there was a huff of dismay as you chuckled.
“Sissy, please play with me!”
There was an apologetic smile on your face. “I can’t, Tuk. I told you I was busy catching up with maintenance duty today. And I’m joining dad and the hunting party later.”
Tuktirey would not budge, as Neytiri prepared herself to step in and stop the whinings of her youngest child. “But sissyyyy, you’re always busy and never play with me anymore. Even Lo’ak says he doesn’t remember the last time you two hung out.”
You felt the slight guilt in you swirling at the truth in Tuk’s words. You had been awfully busy with your tasks and more involved in the daily happenings of the clan, accompanying your dad on a lot of excursions outside of the village and thus having less time to hang out with your siblings.
Neyteyam too had been quite busy with his Olo’eyktan training, and Kiri starting her own journey as a healer. That left only little Tuktirey and Lo’ak to not have their days filled with lessons, leaving them quite lonely in a usually big family.
So you made up your mind.
“How about this, Tuk Tuk. Tomorrow I’ll bring you flying for the entire day. Just us two, hm? You’ll be begging me to be on the ground again by the end of it.”
There was a delighted gasp from your baby sister. “On Atanzaw?”
You nodded.
Atanzaw was your precious Ikran, meaning forked lighting. Your taming of him had been recorded as being of the most vicious battles in the last decade, leaving you with scrapes that dripped blood and bruises lasting for several weeks, as well as a broken wrist. Compare that to Kiri’s, who had simply reached out and asked hers to become her friend and finished tsaheylu and her first flight within five minutes - it made for a hilarious story.
He was known to be quite vicious among the tamed Ikrans even after your bonding. Only ever submits to you, and is even wary of having other people touch him if you didn’t calm him enough beforehand.
Your family knew this, Tuk especially, having been warned many times to not get close to the animal when he was close to the other mounts. So for her, to be able and fly this beautiful midnight blue Ikran, with his hints of green and yellow seemed like an adventure of a lifetime.
“Okay!” With her loud confirmation, she scrambled off your lap quickly before pointing at you with a stern finger. “You have to finish all of this today, sissy, or else we won’t be able to fly tomorrow!”
You contained your amused grin, forcing your face to remain dramatically serious and straightening your spine with a salute and firm “Aye Aye, sir!”
Satisfied with your agreement, Tuk vanished back out of the hut after pecking Neytiri on the cheek in passing.
You had been so caught up in the change of exciting atmosphere that you managed to cut yourself as you had blindly reached for the knife aside and touched the sharp edge instead.
“Fuck!”
Neytiri sucked in a reprimanding hiss at the language as you smiled sheepishly at her. “Sorry, mama.”
“Come to me, ma‘ite.” (daughter)
Although slightly suspicious at the sudden request, you listened and made your way across the hut and went to sit down in front of your mother when she grabbed your bicep and pulled you down in the empty space between her legs, back against her warm chest as she grabbed your hand with the cut with a slight tut, chin hovering over your shoulders.
“Mom!” You complained in slight embarrassment at being cradled against her like a babe again, ears flickering.
“Shush now. Let me bind that for you.”
As your mom started to clean the cut and smoothly bind it, you felt yourself relaxing against her larger form. The warmth of her body felt like a comforting blanket over you as your head tilted to the side to rest against the nape of her neck and shoulder, watching as she tended to your injury.
You barely noticed the almost drowsy state of yourself and how your tail had curled around your own mother’s calf like a baby searching for its protector unconsciously, as she finished and lifted your hand up to peck the injured area softly.
“How are you, my love?” Neytiri’s voice was soft as she started stroking your hair back, cuddling closer against the side of your head.
“Hm? I’m doing good, mama.”
“Are you being honest with me?”
“Of course I am.”
“Mhm.”
“What is it?”
“I just wonder when my children started lying to me,” it was an offhand comment.
“I’m not lying?” More awakened at her sudden questions, you tilted your head up with a small frown. “Do I not seem okay to you?”
You suddenly remembered back to the time you dad had taken you with him to the science lab at the old Hell’s Gate when you had just turned ten. Almost like a rite of passage of his own making by allowing you to accompany him on Olo’eyktan duties. You had felt like you were in a new world, with Norm showing you around with a watchful eye of your dad, always reminding you to take a breath from the mask if you felt a little uncomfortable. You had replied with a swift ‘Yes papa’ when Norm had said, so daddy’s your favorite huh?
There had been confusion from your part at that time. Because you couldn’t imagine having a favorite parent, the thought of it felt..disrespectful.
Your father was the fortress that shielded this family from dangers, while your mother made up the pillars that kept the fortress standing. Your parents were intertwined in soul and body, and one without the other could not function.
It was true that a lot of your time was spent beside your dad, so some humans must have viewed you as ‘daddy’s girl.’ But your mom was always there. Either in the shadows making the darkness seem less intimidating, or as a gentle reminder in your heart.
This was one of these moments. Where she was observing you without you knowing, seeing all the faults and hurts that could affect you that you hadn’t even imagined about.
“You know if all these excursions with your dad are getting too much, you are allowed to take a break from them.”
“What makes you think I need a break?”
Neytiri simply hummed, not ceasing in her loving caress of your long braids, nearly forcing you to relax against her again. “Your siblings miss you, ma ‘ite. I understand your dedication to learning the ways of our people and supporting your father’s Olo’eyktan duties. But you are still young, even if you’ve succeeded in your Iknimaya and Uniltaron, sixteen is not an adult just yet.”
You were the only of your siblings to complete all of the rites of the Omatikaya successfully without fail, Neteyam, Kiri, and Lo’ak having only passed their Iknimaya’s and still preparing for the dream hunt.
The first face you had seen after waking up from your own dream hunt had been your dad’s. Eyes shining with tears and pride were painted across every inch of his expression as he pulled you into his arms, your mom standing just behind him with a tearful face herself.
“And sometimes I miss my own ‘itetsyìp.” (little daughter)
“She’s still here…” you murmured softly, staring at how much larger your mother’s body seemed cocooned around you.
“Oh my love, but you are not,” your mom’s voice had remained soothing and low as if she didn’t want to scare you away with the truth. “You may not have noticed, but you have isolated yourself away from us. Spending more time with the clan, trying your best to protect your siblings, and making sure there are no possible threatening outcomes. Do you know how I know?”
Your silence prompted her to continue.
“You are exactly like your father after the war. He was so busy doing his best in keeping us safe that for a time he forgot to live.”
“...And what did you do?”
“I knocked him upside down on his head and demanded him to wake up,” Neytiri said firmly, a smile slowly forming at the giggle you released.
“So I am telling you the same right now. You must remember to live, my sweet. Or else I fear your view of Eywa’s path will become obscured with time.”
There was a lump in your throat that you tried to swallow, although you couldn’t stop the harsh breath you took to keep back your tears as your mom’s arms tightened around you.
“I’m sorry, mama. I didn’t realize.”
“You are parts of my very heart,” Neytiri whispered, lips hovering above your head as a loving reminder of her presence, now and in the coming days. A staple in your life that would shield all that she could without hesitance.
“I will protect you to the very ends of time even if it is from yourself.”
Nuzzling further into her, you let an wavering smile grace your face as you replied just as quietly. “I know. Oel ngati kameie, sa’nu.” (I see you, mom)
”Nga yawne lu oer, ma’ite.” (I love you/ You are beloved to me, daughter)

Percabeth Royal AU + First Time
I also got sent royalty AU + baby fic, so I'm going to combine them!
Vaguely high fantasy setting, but with more or an ancient Greek aesthetic than medieval England.
Annabeth is first in line for her mother's throne. Percy is like 5th or 6th inline his father's. And he'd probably never get it anyway. He's a legitimized former bastard after his father married his (low born) mistress after the death of his first wife.
But the two of them grew up together, and get along really well, and have stayed in contact through the years, even if they haven't seen each other in person in a while.
So when it comes time for Annabeth to make an adventurous match, she floats Percy's name. The marriage would strengthen the alliance to a formerly-rival nation, he's not so important as to cause trouble, but he is legitimate.
Athena isn't thrilled about this, but she allows Annabeth to make the proposal because she knows if she doesn't allow Annabeth to do the proper thing she wants to do, then Annabeth will do whatever she wants to do the improper way. Athena doesn't really expect Poseidon to accept.
But of course he does. This is a marriage well above what he expected for Percy. The marriage is arranged, and now it's time for Percy to finally see his best friend again.
He arrives, and he is the most handsome man Annabeth has ever seen. And that she wasn't expecting. She'd last seen him eight years ago, when he was a pimply 13 year old who was shorter than her. He wasn't that anymore.
And Percy is thinking similar things about her. He's pretty sure they're going to have a great marriage.
Athena's kingdom is a little more (a lot more) regressive on ideas of virginity, particularly for high-born girls, particularly for the heir apparent. So Annabeth has never so much as kissed someone in a meaningful way. She's read books, experimented with a few things on her own, and that's it. And Percy's culture expects proof of consummation the next day as part of the wedding contract. So Annabeth knows she will be losing her virginity on her wedding night. It's been discussed at length, much to her shame.
A week before the wedding, she confesses to Percy that she's nervous. Or, rather, she expresses her nerves by asking: "On the wedding night, what should I do?"
"What?"
"Is there something I should do to prepare? Is there something you like that I should learn about?"
"Uh ... no. I just want you to be comfortable and relaxed as much as you can. I will try to make it good for you."
"In your experience, do women do anything that makes it more relaxing?"
And Percy just has to sheepishly confess that he doesn't have experience of his own. "I'm a bastard. I never wanted to condemn my own child to that fate. Or disgrace a lady like that. Or pay for it and end up with some pox I'd give to my wife. So I've just ..."
"So we're both virgins, then?" Annabeth asks, not really realizing that that's a bit embarrassing for Percy in ways it's not for her.
"Yes," he said.
"That actually makes me feel a lot better."
The wedding night ends up being incredibly ... fine. It's romantic for sure. But the sex itself takes a few tries to get right, and then ends abruptly. But there's enough evidence the next morning to make the marriage count.
Conceiving an heir isn't a problem. Keeping it is. Annabeth has three miscarriages the first year. She and Percy decide to stop having sex for a little while, to let her body recover and let them both recover emotionally.
They end up taking a tour of the nation six months after they stop having sex (or P in V sex, they figure out the alternatives), and on the tour, they stop by a secluded waterfall. The guards are a little ways away, and they decide to fully enjoy the water.
They're hidden behind the waterfall, and Percy is so happy to be inside her again, he just starts talking about how his people worship the water, and believe they emerged from the sea itself, and that water is healing and life-giving.
When Annabeth suspects she's pregnant again about two months later, she insists they continue the tour because "it will be over soon."
But it isn't.
She returns to court wider than she left. This one she carries to term -- a healthy little baby girl.
They start conceiving all their babies in the water, just to be safe.

So I was re-watching the show and I had a thought about the dynamic between Zeus's kids. Ignore if you've answered this before, but how do her siblings feel about Persephone?
I kinda feel like there are parallels to Sally trying to keep Percy away from Olympian drama and Demeter trying to keep Persephone away from Olympian drama, only for both to fail badly. Not to mention that Persephone probably, for a brief period, turned into the kid Zeus paid attention to most, mostly because of how Demeter protested her marriage. I do have the HC that Persephone and Hermes get along the most, due to Hermes being the sibling to visit the Underworld the most, but what do you think? Hades might be a useful ally in a rebellion.
I haven't really thought much about Persephone's dynamic with everyone else🤔
However, I will touch on my thoughts on her relationship with Demeter and Apollo (in the RRverse) because those are the ones I know right off the top of my head.
With Demeter, I don't like the helicopter parent stereotype attributed to her. Contrary to the media's beliefs, Demeter's panic is very sound considering her daughter was. ya know. kidnapped.
it was an arranged marriage! yeah yeah it's still kidnapping, and Persephone screamed for help. it's all there in the Hymn to Demeter.
because of this, Demeter and Persephone had a very loving mother-daughter relationship imo. Demeter also wasn't against Persephone marrying, btw. In the Orphic tradition, Demeter prophesizes that Persephone would marry Apollo, though that never came to pass obviously (I have a silly take on this in a bit sit tight).
Now Apollo :D the fun starts here.
SO. PERSEPHONE'S PLAYMATES WERE ATHENA AND ARTEMIS. Additionally, as mentioned previously, Demeter was like "oh yeah Persephone's gonna marry Apollo one day".
SO I PRESENT-
Apollo & Persephone are BFFs, and Demeter is the mom who sees her daughter has a boy friend and starts shipping them XD
Persephone: MOM WE'RE JUST FRIENDS
Demeter: You look so cute together!
Persephone: MOM YOU'RE SO EMBARRESSING hides face
also! there's another myth that adds on to this headcanon of mine :D
People think Demeter causes winter. She does not - she just stops the plant growth.
Apollo lets winter happen when he takes his vacations to Hyperborea :D
SO I PROPOSE-
Apollo aligned his vacations during the time Persephone is in the Underworld because fuck it if he can't hang with his BFF during this time of year might as well do his vacation instead so he has more time during the spring/summer months with her then!
BACK TO DEMETER BEING A SHIPPER-
Remember this scene in The Last Olympian?
The older lady harrumphed. "I warned you, daughter. This scoundrel Hades is no good. You could've married the god of doctors or the god of lawyers, but noooo. You had to eat the pomegranate."
Apollo is the god of healing. He also hold dominion over law, and played defense attorney for Orestes.
...DEMETER STILL SHIPS PERSEPOLLO TO THIS DAY XD
she presents it to Persephone like she has two options but they're the same person LMAO
I also wanna talk about the whole 'Demeter forbid Apollo from going near her kids' thing too! Because with the context of this^, it makes you wonder why.
...but then you realize that maybe it was because of the above she forbid him from her kids - or more specifically, she forbid him because he didn't marry Persephone XD
So she ships them. But also she's salty she didn't get her favorite nephew for a son-in-law to marry her favorite daughter and therefore banned him from her kids.
Seems counter-productive, but you do you Demeter lmao XD
(and yes, Hades would be a useful ally in a rebellion...hehehehe)

You’re the only good thing in my life pt 2
Tumblr media
-genre/warnings: arranged marriage, mentions of cheating in the past, angst, smut, hurt/comfort, fighting
A/n very sorry for the long wait, I had written my part 2 but decided I didn’t like it and rewrote it…. This is still not finished btw, there will be one last part I also just realized i never titled this :o
Once namjoons mother had found out that namjoon had been unfaithful to minseo she was furious. She knew how much minseo cared for her son. She couldn’t believe he’d do something like that to her.
But of course namjoon was her son. she was disappointed but at the end of the day she understood that people make mistakes.
After work he decided to go down to seokjins house to talk. he decided to give up his land. It has already caused enough trouble in his life. He didn’t want it anymore.
Upon arriving he lets himself in, immediately stopping in his tracks seeing his brother, seokjin sitting with his wife, minseo.
“Minseo, what are you doing here?”
Minseo stood as she ignored his question
“Well then, I should be heading home now”
Pushing past namjoon out the front door as he followed her
“Minseo wait!” He say’s grabbing her arm
“Let go of me, please” she couldnt even look at him, not because she didn’t want to but because it hurt too much
“I asked you a question. what are you doing at my brothers house?”
“Does it matter?” She tried tugging her arm out of his hold
He responded holding her tighter
“Yes it does. You have no business being here, especially alone with him.” What was he insinuating?
“I wanted to know who she was” she finally looked him in the eyes
“Who?”
“Your lover” tears started to brim her eyes
“Minseo, he has no business in our marriage. If you wanted to know the truth of what happened you could’ve ask me”
“I couldn’t. You know why? Because it hurts much more coming from you. I do not wish to know all the details”
It was silent for a moment before namjoon spoke “when that night happened, we were nearly a month married, we were Still not fully familiar with eachother. It was before I had realized how much you meant to me, before I knew that I loved you. I could not tell you who it was because I truly do not know. I try hard to forget that regretful night. Ever since the night we confessed our love for each other I’ve been thinking of no one else except you. Please minseo, im sorry.”
Tears ran down her face as she struggled to speak “it doesn’t matter. You were still my husband. I’ve been nothing but faithful to you since I found out about this whole situation” she nearly ran when he loosened his grip on her arm. She didn’t want anyone to see her like this.
Namjoon stood there feeling defeated. Seeing jin staring out the window. When they locked eyes jin quickly hid behind the curtains. Namjoon left shaking his head.
Upon returning home, it was quiet. Namjoon had called off their weekly family dinner once again, saying it was because he wasn’t feeling well but everyone in the family already knew what was going on.
Heading to bed with a heavy heart, feeling absolutely horrible not having minseo there to comfort him.
Minseo spent most of her days avoiding him at all costs. She knew she couldn’t hide forever but every time she saw him she was reminded of everything that has been happening but at the same time she was missing her husband. She soon realized that she really didn’t have anyone else.
Namjoon had started working even later into the night just to keep his mind busy. Trying to get things done as he kept postponing them all week.
“Namjoon” he was broken out of his thoughts as he saw her, minseo.
“Yes? What happened?” He immediately stood up
“Your mother, she can’t get a hold of you. She’s been calling for a while now”
“Oh, yeah I was busy, I’ll call her in a minute-”
“I already talked to her, she said she’s having a gathering at her home tomorrow and you must attend, no exceptions”
He nodded “will you be going?”
“I might, Depending on how I’m feeling. Night.” She said walking out the door of his home office not giving him a second glance
“Goodnight!” He said before she shut the door. He slumped back into his chair not remembering what he was doing just a minute ago.
-
The next day namjoon waited practically the whole day for minseo. He thought they would drive there together but she never asked or even mentioned she was going. He decided to go before it got too late, he figured she probably didn’t want to go.
Namjoon arrived a little late but he knew he had to show up or else his mother would have given him an earful.
Walking in seeing everyone talking, laughing with each other. He immediately felt nervous. He shouldn’t be, this is his family.
“Namjoon!” His mother is the first to greet him “thank you for coming, dear” she kissed his cheek
“Well you said no exceptions so here I am” he sighed
“Everyone is here, go say hello” she encouraged with a smile on her face
“Mother, im really not-“
“Minseo is here too” his mother added
“Where?” He questioned immediately looking around for her
“I believe she’s out back”
Immediately going to see if she was actually here, going out the back door of his mothers house. He sees her. Sitting beautifully, legs crossed in her white floral dress talking with a family member. They both stop mid conversation as he spoke
“Hi- im sorry to interrupt” namjoon looked nervous
“That’s alright dear, I’ll be heading inside now. It was good seeing you sweetheart” his great aunt says as she said goodbye to minseo
“I thought you weren’t coming” namjoon sat down once they were alone
“I never said I wasn’t” taking a sip of her drink feeling nervous herself
“I waited for you, I thought maybe we’d drive down together” namjoon searched for her eyes but she wouldn’t look at his
“Seokjin brought me.”
“Oh” Namjoon was beginning to feel a sort of hatred towards his brother. He just couldn’t keep his nose out of his marriage
“You look beautiful as always”changing the subject he reached for her hands that were on the table
“I’m leaving” She finally looked at him as she pulled her hands away
“Leaving? What do you mean?”
“Back home, with my mother.”
“What, Why? My love you-“
“Because I need to. I feel lonely here, I need to get away for a while. It’s all too much”
“Everyone loves you here, my mother, our aunts everyone adores you- I can’t be without you, please” he didn’t realized tears had begun to form in his eyes
“You’ve lived without me before, you’ll be fine namjoon. I’m sure you’ll find someone else to entertain you”
“No. No I don’t want anyone else. Just you, Minseo. I can’t imagine my life without you. I-I love you so much. Please, please tell me what I should do so that you’ll stay” his heart felt like it was aching in his chest. He’d never thought that his worst nightmare would be to lose his wife.
she could see it in his eyes how sorry he was but her trust had been broken “How can I trust you anymore joon?”
“I promise you that I’ll never hurt you again my love. I truly never meant to hurt you. I honestly thought that this marriage wasn’t going to be a real marriage. But I-I fell for you so hard.” He himself would’ve never thought this would happen but it did. And he’s never been so happy to have found her.
She went to put one of her hands on top of his arm “I still love you namjoon. You can’t stop loving someone so quickly, but I need some time”
Looking at her with big glossy eyes he nodded “you will be back right?”
They were interrupted by namjoons mother as she stepped outside to find the two
“Kids! Come inside. I’ve made a ham” she waved her hand for them to come join the family
“We’re coming! Come on, can’t keep mom waiting” minseo was first to get up as he followed
Everyone was serving themselves. Minseo wasn’t feeling hungry but she didn’t want to be rude so she made herself a plate. Namjoon wasn’t sure if he should sit next to her or not. Minseo sat at the full table so he had no other choice but to sit somewhere else.
Namjoons mother noticed he wasn’t enjoying himself. She figured whatever the two we’re talking about outside caused this. She always taught her sons to fight for the people they love. She’s just hoping that namjoon will take her advice.
He certainly didn’t enjoy watching his wife laugh at all his brothers jokes from across the room. Didn’t those two hate each other? Minseo and jin were actually good friends before this whole marriage happened. Is it weird to say that this whole situation brought them closer? Minseo realized she didn’t really have anyone else to talk to but jin was there, like old times.
After it got later and people started leaving. Jin offered to drive minseo back home to which she accepted before she went to thank Mrs Kim
“Thank you for coming, dear” she held both of her hands
“Of course, your food is always delicious”
Namjoon now walking into the living room coming from the bathroom. seeing his mother and wife together always made him happy. But now it just made him nervous. Not knowing what his mother would say to her
“Hi” he said looking directly at minseo
“Hi, I’m going to be heading home now. Jins taking me”
“Okay. I’m going to stay here a bit long. Ill be there soon” he didn’t like that idea but he needed to stay to talk to his mother privately. Minseo nodded leaving.
Namjoon started helping his mother put the left overs away
“Do you want to take any of these home with you dear?” His mother asked as she was looking for Tupperware, immediately stopping as she heard a sob come from her son
“Joon? Whats the matter?” She pulled him into a hug as he continued to cry into her shoulder
“She’s leaving me”
“Oh no, honey I’m so sorry. What did she say?”
“She-she’ll be staying with her mother for a while but what if….what if she doesn’t come back, what if she stops loving me. And jin–“
“Honey, she’ll come back. she just needs time. I’ve seen how much you two love each other. And jin, don’t worry about jin. He’s your brother, he’s just trying to get under your skin. If you don’t want to lose her then you better go and show her how much she means to you”
Namjoon nodded not really able to get his words out now, wiping his tears “I should go and make sure she got home safe”
“Go, and when she leaves come visit me often so you won’t be so alone”
On the way home jin asked a lot of questions about her leaving as well, he was actually the one to suggested going away for a while
“Did your mother ask why you were coming home so suddenly?”
“Yes she did. I told her it was because I was home sick. I didn’t have the heart to tell her.” Minseo says looking out the passenger window feeling mostly tired
“You know you wouldn’t be going through all of this if you would’ve chosen me” jin spoke looking directly ahead on the road
Minseo slowly turning her head to him “what?” She said in disbelief. She didn’t know whether or not he was making another joke right now.
“All those years, and yet you chose him”
He in fact wasn’t joking
“I dont understand jin. You made it clear that we were just friends” minseo did have a crush on him back when they were in school but she was turned down countless of times
“You were just a kid! And by the time I thought maybe you were ready you had namjoon already courting you. I still believe he did it just to get back at me”
“Jin, why are you tell me this now-“
Jin pulled the car over quickly scaring minseo a bit, now facing her
“I’m saying nows our chance, I still want you…” jin moved his hand to her thigh feeling her soft legs, slowly moving up-
“Jin, what the hell!” She moved his hand off her thigh “I’m married. And im sorry but that was the past” her other hand searched for the door handle
“Oh come on, you’re still going to be faithful to him? even after everything he’s done to you-“
Finally finding the door handle she practically jumps out the car slamming the door, jin also jumps out as he sees her walking away
“What are you doing?” She ignores him still walking away ”Minseo, come on. Ok I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you angry”
“Just go, I’ll be fine.”
“I’m not going leave you walking, just get in”
“I said no. Now leave before I start screaming”
“Fine, but it’s not my fault if you get lost.” Jin got into his car and sped away leaving minseo walking. She knew how to get home, it would just take her a while.
Namjoon arrived home before minseo. He went to check on her before he went to bed but he couldn’t find her. Of course this worried him. He checked every corner of the house. He even checked outside. Calling jins house because that was the last person she was with but he didn’t answer. He decided he was going to go look for her, taking the route he thinks jin would’ve taken but before he could get out the drive way minseo walks in the gate. exhausted and teary eyed.
“Minseo! I was worried sick about you. I was just about to-“ seeing her condition he could tell something did happen “are you alright? Where’s seokjin?”
“I decided to walk home”
“Walk? That’s quite the walk. Did something happen?”
She sighed “just jin being jin” she went to walk past him to go inside but he stopped her
“Did he do something to you?” He knew his brother, he wanted to take everything he had, even his own wife.
“Look I’m really tired right now I just-“
“Tell me, please. I swear if he touched you-“
“I stopped him before he went too far, And please don’t go cause a scene, He’s not been himself lately”
Namjoon was boiling. Take his job, Take his land, but not his wife. Namjoon didn’t want to upset minseo so he kept his cool, at least for right now.
“Let’s get inside, it’s cold.” She tried changing the subject. Minseo said good night before heading to her room. She couldn’t sleep so she spent practically the whole night packing her bags. Her mother was expecting her tomorrow.
Namjoon also couldn’t sleep. he couldn’t believe his own brother would do that to him. Jin knew how desperate namjoon was to win back minseo. He wondered if maybe minseo secretly wished she had ended up with jin. He knew jin had a crush on her back in the day. But it was too late for jin. She was his.
The next morning minseo had started bringing her bags down stairs so that when it was time to go she’d be ready. All the noise caused namjoon to come out of his room. Seeing minseo struggling with her bags.
“Here, let me help” he immediately took the bags out of her hands carrying them for her
“Thank you” minseo slightly out of breath
“Are you… leaving already?” He didn’t know she’d be leaving so soon.
“Yes, my mother is sending a driver to take me. He’ll be here any minute” as if on cue the door bell rings. “Oh- that must be him” minseo going to open the door greeting the older man
“I’ll be taking your bags to the car now”
She had a lot, in total of five suitcases and two duffel bags. That kind of worried namjoon. This meant she was staying long right?
“Minseo, be safe. And call me if you need anything. Money or if you need help with yard work-“ he’d take any opportunity to see her
“I’ll be fine. thank you” how badly she wanted to say more, a hug goodbye even. But she couldn’t bring herself to do so
He watched her leave. Feeling as though a part of him was leaving as well. But he knew this wasn’t the end, It couldn’t be.
Going inside their home looking around felt empty. He didn’t like it, He doesn’t remember life without minseo.
He has a lot of things to get done. But first, seokjin.
He couldn’t wait any longer. He so badly wanted to confront Jin about what happened that night. And as soon as minseo left he went to Jins house
Upon arriving he was going to just walk in but the door was locked. He just about pounded on his door feeling all those emotions he had last night come back.
Jin had looked as if he had just woken up, opening the door confused and clearly hung over
Namjoon wasted no time barging in, pushing Jin causing him to stumble. Jin had no time to process what was going on as namjoon brought his fist to jins face
“What the fuck!” Jin groaned in pain clutching his face still on the floor
Namjoon crouching down to be face to face with Jin “who do you think you are? Putting your hands on my wife?”
Seokjin smiled slightly clearly not sorry “what, are you afraid? I bet when you’re inside her cunt she wishes it was me”
Namjoon threw another fist to his brothers face as jin was trying to block them with his hands “don’t- fucking- talk about her like that. what has gotten into you, jin? I don’t understand”
“You took her from me” Jin mumbled out, face throbbing
“I didn’t take shit from you. She was your friend, that’s all she ever was to you.”
“No, it was more than that-“
“You only wanted her when you saw that we started seeing eachother” namjoon was right, jin felt jealous. He was so used to having minseo do everything he had asked for and when she found someone new to follow around he had realized how much he missed her.
namjoons intentions weren’t pure either. He needed to be wed, and Fast. His father had just passed away and his mother wanted namjoon to claim the land but the agreement was that it went to whoever was to be married first. Namjoon wasn’t ready to be married, But if he really did need to be married he’d pick someone he already knew. Someone who he knew would be a good wife. Minseo. She had been a family friend for years and she was a nice girl. Why not right?
Of course as soon as this was brought up to her father he was already cashing the check. Minseo was young. And she’d do anything her father asked, besides she knew namjoon already. She just truly wanted to be loved
Namjoon was always sweet and respectful, and of course she fell for him almost instantly but after the marriage was made official it was like he wasn’t interested anymore. Almost as though he was only being nice to make sure she wouldn’t back out. She was disappointed but as we know this didn’t last very long. She fell first but he fell harder.
“Stay the hell out of my life” namjoon said leaving Jin alone on the floor.
Minseo had arrived to her mothers house excited. She had missed her. She didn’t live that far away, it was about two hours away but she never had time to visit that often. As soon as minseo pulled up she saw her mother waiting outside. She immediately jumped into her mothers arms
“Oh darling, you look so beautiful” minseos mother said kissing the side of her head
“I’ve missed you so much mom”
“I have too, so much.. where is namjoon?”
Minseo still has yet to tell her mother. Her mom loves namjoon so much, she knows this will break her. but she was mostly keeping this from her because the same had happened to her. Minseos father had cheated on her mother countless of times and she took him back every single time. She didn’t want to bring up those awful memories.
“He, um, he has work so he couldn’t come”
“Oh, when you said you needed to get away I thought you meant the both of you. But this is even better! It’ll be just us girls then” her mother was truly excited to spend some time with her.
Minseo slept in her old bedroom, it felt weird but it brought back a lot of good memories. She didn’t have any siblings growing up but she spent most of her childhood with namjoon and seokjin. Mostly just seokjin though. Maybe if this whole marriage hadn’t happened everything would still be perfect?…Except it wouldn’t because she wouldn’t have her love.
It was hard for her to fall asleep these days, and when she eventually did it wasn’t for very long.
After day two of staying with her mom she was so happy to be here with her but she felt the want to go back home constantly.
Her mother could tell something was going on but she didn’t want to say anything yet.
Minseo was out back sunbathing on the pool chairs but she heard her mother shouting, immediately she got up and went inside to see what was going on. Her heart dropped when she saw him, namjoon, hugging her mother.
“Joon, what are doing here?!” Minseo was confused and a bit annoyed.
“Oh- um I just wanted to check on you- and to see mom of course!” He smiled at her mother
“Oh joon you know you’re always welcome! I’m working on dinner so make yourself comfortable”
Minseo left walking to her room to change out of her bathing suit not knowing namjoon was following right behind her. It startled her a bit. She quickly put on her robe that was hanging on her door
“You shouldn’t be here namjoon” he could clearly see she was angry
“I know, I’m sorry but I was worried about you-”
“I’m perfectly fine. No need to worry”
“Your mom was so excited to see me. I was actually kind of nervous to come because I wasn’t sure if you told her about anything yet-“
“I haven’t…” she sighed “I don’t think I will. Just go down and help her, I’ll be there after I change” he nodded quickly exiting the room
Minseo had slipped into some comfortable clothes and went to join the two. Already hearing them cracking up from all the way across to house
“What’s so funny?” She smiled
“Oh darling come see this” her mom said barely able to contain her laughter “it’s from when you guys were just kids and used to walk to school every morning, Remember when that car drove by a puddle and it splashed you guys so bad you all ran home crying”
“You have a picture?!” minseo doesn’t remember this being so funny
“Of course! I knew some day we’d be able to laugh back at this”
Namjoon smiling while admiring the beautiful smiles on their faces as well
“One day when you guys have kids of your own you better take all the pictures you can, time flies by so fast” her mother adds walking back to the stove leaving the two in the dinning room
“You remember this day?” namjoon says picking up one of the many photos her mother had pulled out. It was a more recent photo. From last years birthday.
“Of course I do, it was one of the best days of my life” she smiled remembering how special she felt that day. Before she could do anything else her mother began serving them. Enjoying the nice hot meal catching up, everything felt almost normal. Almost.
“I’m stuffed” namjoon said rubbing his stomach
“Me too, every time I eat I get real sleepy. Minseos bed is a twin but I’m sure you’ll both fit” her mother added
“Oh no need, he’ll be heading home now-“
“What? No, it’s late honey. Don’t you want to stay namjoon?”
He felt pressure from both sides wanting to say yes but needing to say no, for minseo but… he couldn’t.
“Of course i do!” He smiled but minseo was mad, heading to her room. Namjoon joined her after he had helped clean up.
“Wow Your room is smaller than I remember” namjoon said looking around
“Yeah well everything’s bigger when you’re 13… you can take the bed tonight”
“No that’s ok, it’s your bed after all”
“Just take the bed joon, you’re our guest”
“Um actually we’re her guests”
She rolled her eyes “fine we both take the bed, but get your own blanket” he smiled at her
both of them were settled into the small twin bed facing back to back in silence trying to fall asleep but neither of them could
“Namjoon” minseo said quietly which caused namjoon to turn his body around or face her
“Yeah?”
“Why are you really here?” Still not facing him
“Because I was worried about you… and because I missed you”
It was silent again for a moment until he heard her sniffle immediately feeling his heart begin to race
“minseo” he whispered as she now turned around to finally face him
“I missed you so much joonie, so much but you- you hurt me so bad” she was trying to keep her voice down as best as she could
He immediately pulled her into his chest as if on instinct “I know it my love, and I’ll forever regret it. I’ll spend the rest of my life fighting to get you back if I have to. You’re the only person I truly need” he was trying to hold himself together as well
“I love you, even if you decide to not forgive me-” he was full on crying now. He couldn’t hold back
Seeing him like this just hurt her even more, looking at him she went to grab ahold of his face “I love you too joon, always” with both of them crying he immediately went in for a kiss.
it felt like they haven’t kissed in ages. He missed the way she’d grabbed his hair whenever they kissed like this. His hands searched her body missing having her like this.
Namjoon feeling himself began to grow hard, he couldn’t control it. He didn’t want to ruin the moment but In all honesty, they both needed it
As soon as she realized she paused
“I’m sorry- it just-“ he tried to explain but she didn’t care. Reaching down to feel him
“It’s okay” she pressed down feeling all of him causing him to groan, she went back into the kiss while her hand moved inside of his sweats grabbing ahold of his heavy cock, she started pumping him nice and slow. Namjoon very much enjoying this he started thrusting into her hand. His mouth agape as he was moaning quietly into her ear
“Feel good?” She asked still pumping him just how he liked it
“Yes, so good-” god she missed this
“You’re mine right?” She knew he was but she still wanted to hear it
“Yes, im all yours.. I promise” his hands began roaming her body. Missing how she felt in his arms. He grabbed the hem of her tank top asking for permission to take it off, she wasn’t wearing a bra so her chest was fully exposed now. He immediately went to her chest leaving the most gentle kisses to both of them. focusing on her nipples as she was tugging on his hair softly, feeling just as good as him. When He went to pull her pajama shorts down she stopped him
“Wait, we can’t” minseo said slightly out of breath “my mother might hear us”
Namjoon knew that was a possibility but he was so horny right now he truly didn’t care
“We’ll be quiet, I promise. I need to feel you so bad, love” he said slowly grinding against her. Minseo was just as needy and of course she gave in
“Hurry up then” she said and not even a second later namjoon was taking off the rest of his and her clothes.
Hovering over her He was teasing his tip in while he played with her clit because he knew once he was in, it wouldn’t be for very long. It feels like forever since he last had her like this. He wanted both of them to feel good.
Minseo was a whimpering mess as she tried to keep quiet. Namjoon the same, bitting his lip as he watched her
“I need you inside me, please” she whispered as namjoon started pushing himself inside
“Fuuck-“ pulling back feeling her squeeze him so good “I missed this pussy” he said into her neck as he found a good pace
They were both out of it, trying to keep quiet but feeling all too good. Minseos legs we slightly shaking as he started going faster. Namjoon couldn’t hold back his moans, trying to muffle them into the pillow
Minseo wrapped her legs around his waist just like she always did, letting him go deeper. Namjoon was close.
He began kissing her breasts, admiring how beautiful she looked under him. He’d do anything for her.
“My love, im close”
“Me too, kiss me joonie”
and he did, kissing her with urgency as he came inside her. He didn’t stop until she was finished. She wasn’t too far behind him as she was begging him to not stop
She came hard around him, feeling her pussy throbbing, namjoon still thrusting slowing letting her ride out her high
They both stayed in that position for a moment before he got up to wipe her clean, getting one of his shirts to clean the mess he made that was now spilling out of her. Being gentle because he knew she was still sensitive
“Thank you” she whispered once he was back in bed
“I should be the one thanking you” namjoon was smiling ear to ear
“For what silly” she knew what he meant but wanted to tease him
“For you know… being you”
“Oh stop” she laughed quietly “let’s go to bed now, im tired”
“Goodnight” he kissed her again before he snuggled onto her
“Night” minseo didnt know how she was able to live without him for so long but she did know that she hated it.
The two were finally able to have a good night sleep, the only thing that was missing was their bed at home.
But If only they knew what was waiting for them back at home….

Finished Spinning Silver! What a satisfying ending, the last few pages had me grinning. I think this may be my favorite book of 2024
- I was wrong, Rebekah was not the kid to show the cost of bargains, it was Mirnatius! So clever, to show what happens to the child bargained away to a demon before birth (but one whose mother never found a way out of it)
-I honestly wouldn't call this a Rumpelstiltskin retelling so much as one inspired by it (and honestly loved it even more for not being a direct adaption)
- poor guard that had a crush on Irina (was starting to wonder if I should start shipping them cause I just wanted Irina to be personally happy in her marriage somehow and then he's no longer even an option). But that brings me to...
-omg the last scene where Irina claims everyone in Lithvas and then Mirnatius himself. So clever demon rules lawyering and so satisfying after the repeated "only me and mine" phrase.
-my real only nitpick of the book was I feel like we were missing a final pov section with either Irina or Mirnatius. Don't get me wrong, the final sentence of their section was perfect (especially since my fave part of the book was Mirnatius desperately drawing her and thrusting pages into people's faces shouting "Why do you think she's beautiful?!?!?). Buuuut I wish we could have had a little epilogue with the two of them, just to see how they were doing both politically and marriage-wise. We got to kinda see Miryem and the Staryk King get to know each other without the tension, and a glimpse into what their lives will be like, so their marriage and relationship felt like it made sense (which was needed cause Miryem was legitimately trying to kill him not that many pages ago). I'm a romantic, so I believe that Irina and Mirnatius had their own happily ever after (and I caught that Irina sent a mirror to Miryem as a wedding gift, visits in the future?) but I wish we could've seen it to KNOW they worked out
- of the two, I preferred Spinning Silver more than Uprooted. It just hit so many of the right notes for me personally. I would have to say Miryem was my favorite character, there was never a time I wasn't straight up rooting for her (even when she made decisions that could've turned out so bad I still understood why they were made and it made sense). However Irina had my favorite storyline, I love books of overlooked girl becomes queen and shows everyone she is good at this, especially if perfectly arranged marriage also factors in (plus her plot line with the three silver pieces of jewelry and jumping through mirrors and even how she talked to the demon felt so fairy tale esque) Even Miryem who literally became a fairy/elven queen brought a level of practicality to her situation (which was one of the reasons I loved her), but Irina's felt like it could literally have started like a winter fairy tail (Once Upon A Time a girl had a drop of fairy blood and three magic items, and she was married to a demon that she outwitted, and won her husband and kingdom's safety in the end)
-and all the other characters and their warm and safe and happy endings made me feel so cozy. And also nice to read a fantasy book with two alive loving parents (and even grandparents!)

The Joys Of Marriage
Loki x Reader
Tumblr media
wordcount: 1.5k
In a realm where Alfheim and Asgard have been embroiled in a centuries-long war without knowing its cause, Princess Y/N L/N of Alfheim lives neglected and despised by her father, King F/N L/N. Despite being the eldest, her younger siblings receive affection while she is marginalized within the palace. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her father informs her of an arranged marriage to Loki Odinson, what will this marriage hold for the princess and prince?
For some reason, Alfheim and Asgard had been at war with one another for centuries to the point that the two current rulers, F/N L/N and Odin Borson had no idea what the fight was about. You could most definitely research what was the reason but you couldn’t be bothered. Why bother to help your father who barely cared for your existence?
In all honesty, you had no idea why your father hated you. He loved your sister, the youngest one Alara. She was elegant, sweet as can be at least to others. she saw you as lesser than her, then there was your brother Cohnal he was the middle child. He was always berating you saying “ how could you possibly be my sister”. Even though you were the eldest he was to be next in line for the throne which saddened you since it was supposed to be you to be heir to the throne.  Father had spoken to you when you were young about how you'd be an amazing ruler then one day just before your mother had passed that changed. You never knew why.
The Day your mother died was the saddest day for you it felt like you whole world crumbled you of course attend the funeral and so did you father but he looked like he didn’t even want to be there. Soon after the funeral your father remarried and got her pregnant. She also hated you.
Over the years you've learned to accept and ignore their attitude towards you and accepted it. To help avoid any more conflict you were moved to the other side of the palace. At some point, people started calling you the forgotten princess and honestly, you wish they did so maybe you could run away and live somewhere more peaceful. But for some reason your father kept you around but you never knew why till today.
Today was the day the Alfheim and Asgard would create a peace treaty and  the meeting was to held in Alfheim. And for the first time in thousands of years your father visited you personally in your chambers.
you were reading next to the Window to better see your book but also because you occasionally liked to look up from your book to look at the view. That was one of the only things great about you being moved to the other part of the palace you had a beautiful view of your private garden. But your reading was disturbed by a knock at the door.
Man: May I come in
Y/N: Enter
as you watched the door open you were surprised to see it was your father. You quickly stood up as a sign of respect, even though you hated him for the years of neglect you rather not get banished or killed for treason.
Y/N: What do I owe the pleasure of seeing you today father
You could see on his face that he didn't wanna see you or even talk to you but you had a feeling that it there was a reason for it
F/N: You will attend today's peace treaty and attend the meeting
Y/N: Why do I need to attend you've never needed or wanted me to attend any sort of event why now
he gave you a stern look that told you to shut up
F/N: You watch your tongue child, or else...
Y/N: Yes father
you were always scared when he got like this, but you really hated the fact that for thousands of years you never attend ball, public appearances or even family dinners but now he needed you it pissed you off
F/N: you need to attend because you have been arranged to marry one of the princes of asgard. More specifically loki odinson.
you started at him in shock you were arranged married with out your consent or even knowleged. you were just abotu to blow uo at his face till you calmed down and thought for a second. This was your chnce to leave this wreched palce to live a life away from a family the hated and dispiseed you. Even though you knew there could be a possiblity that you husband to be would hate you it couldnt be any worse then living with these people
Y/N: Very well i shall attend
your father looked at you surprised he was probably expecting you to kick and scream that you won't get married. This was easier than he thought.
F/N: ill see you this afternoon at the peace treaty signing
After he had left you room you collapsed back into th chair you were sitting in and gave out a long sigh, this may be your only chance to leave this palace so you were a little excited for something knew.
Later that afternoon
Your personal maid had helped you to get dressed and then had lead you into the meeting room. Once there she left you to enter on your own. Before going in you took a long deep breath then knocked
F/N: Enter
Even though no one had seen you in thousands of years people knew by the clothing as well as the tiara you wore that you were clearly one of the princess on this kingdom and rose as a sign respect.
Y/N: please no need to stand on my account please be seated
Everybody listened and sat back down, you made you way to your father side there was no seat for you so you stood next to him as he spoke.
F/N:Today we sign this treaty as a sign that the war is over and that by signing it we agree that war between our kingdom is forbbidon and that if any of the rules in the treaty is broke then war shal resume.  Are we all in agreement
Everyone: YES!!
As your father signed the treaty he gave it to one of the knights in the room, where he took it from your father and walked to the other side of the table giving it to the man who you've seen in illustration in books as Odin. The knight placed the treaty in front of him and once placed it was signed then given to someone who you assumed was a notary from both your kingdom and theirs to verify the signing and announce the treaty has been officially signed and to inform both kingdoms.
The room erupted in cheer since an era of peace for both kingdoms was to start and that war would be no longer. Then you father stood up from his seat to announce something as well. You knew what was coming and gave a solemn look knowing that he only needed you for this and nothing more, you were nothing but a tool to the man.
F/N: And to further the peace between kingdoms my daughter Y/N L/N princess of the Alfheim kingdom is to marry Loki Odinson prince of Asgard to solidify the two kingdoms' union.
Odin gestured for his son to rise and for the first time you saw him and made eye contact with him he was beautiful and you felt bad for him having to marry someone like you. You felt as if something was wrong with you since not even your own family wanted you and now you were gonna be given to someone else. Odin told everyone in the room to leave besides yourself and lok saying “ let's allow the betrothed acquaint themselves with one another”. Everyone left but you and loki you knew he didn’t wanna be married off but seemed like he was doing this for a reason so before he could speak you spoke first.
Y/N: I’m sorry you have to marry  me. I can kinda tell this isn’t want you wanted and think that you had to do this cause of you father. Ill tell you this now i was too so i know how you feel.
He looked at me surprised most likely thinking i knew of this arranged meant and that it was him forced
Loki: well im glad im not alone in this then
You point to a seat and he made his way to the chair and sat down and you sat down next to him. Even though you had heard storieso of the prince he was different in person it seemed like he had changed in a way even though you didn’t know him personally but he wasn’t what the stories made him to be.
Y/N: ill make you a deal my prince. If you promise to marry me and take me away from this place ill make you life a bit more interesting and make this life long sentence of marriage easier for us
He looked at me shocked he didn’t think i was going to be so forward or even confident
Loki: oh really now and how would you do that…my princess
You gave him a genuine smile seeing as he entertained your question you knew he’d marry you
Y/N: well my prince i promise to fill you life with both mischief and joy
At that he was silent the mischief part he loved but he never had anyone promise him joy all his life he was ignore by his father and lived in the shadows of his brother. This could be a somewhat enjoyable marriage
------------------------------------------------------------------------------Should i continue the story????

Spy x Family Naegiri + Izuru Kamukura AU
Kyoko Kirigiri as the spy suddenly tasked with making a family appear out of thin air. As a young girl, her father died in the early bombings and her mother, fearing for Kyoko’s safety, sent her on a train to her estranged grandfather. Said grandfather was the leader of an intelligence agency and from then on Kyoko was trained in all things related to spying. Even after her grandfather’s death she still continued with this career, believing that it was her duty to give other people a peaceful lifestyle that she will never be able to truly understand.
Makoto Naegi as the assassin who needed to swallow his moral quandaries to look after his sister. As he has gotten older he felt like he couldn’t leave because a lot of his targets were dangerous people. The current peace is so fragile, he wants to do everything he can so that more people can have hope for the future.
But who would their telepathic child be? I know Shuichi is often depicted as a naegiri baby but I don’t think he is chaotic enough to get into the same shenanigans that Anya does. What character would purposefully cause so much chaos for their own amusement?
Izuru (Kamukura) the young telepath who is desperate for anything to escape the eternal boredom. Everyone’s thoughts are so predictable. Even going to the outside world quickly become boring for the young boy.
Izuru is definitely smarter than Anya in canon, but not as smart as he is in DR. He is good at the sciences, the technical stuff and the hard rules the language and arts, but he is so apathetic that he struggles with emotional nuances in all these subjects. Perhaps the reason why scientists thought he was a failure is because Izuru didn’t care enough about what people thought and the results of the tests.
Whether he escaped or was kicked out, Izuru survives using his telepathy. He decides to use a different name to cover his tracks, calling himself “Hajime” when other people ask. Through all this, nothing reduces his boredom and he never tries to bond with anyone. He gets adopted for his intelligence and kicked out for his creepiness 4 times.
Then one day Kyoko arrives at his orphanage, and Izuru reads the most interesting mind he has ever encountered, the mind of a spy. Surely if there are any people in the world that could keep Izuru entertained, it would be the thrilling, dangerous life of a secret agent. Izuru also supposed they have something in common since Izuru created the “Hajime” identity.
The two have a different bond than Loid and Anya initially. Kyoko and Izuru initially find a decent rapport due to their naturally stoic and analytical personalities. Their first roadblock is when Kyoko has to get Izuru to do something he is not interested in (Such as studying subjects he is not interested in or befriending kids/targets). Kyoko realises the two haven’t actually been acting like parent and child before then. Kyoko buys parenting books for research and realises that Izuru’s behaviour may be a trauma response for his past. Izuru experiences an unknown emotion having an adult not throw him out when he’s being difficult. Also, Kyoko understands Izuru more than other cuz she herself can be very detached to individual problems. For Kyoko it’s due to her upbringing and because she is usually busy focusing on the bigger national issues.
In comes Makoto who takes Yor’s role as the “emotionally intelligent parent” in the family. Izuru immediately wants this harmless-looking deadly assassin under his roof, and tries to set the two adults up. Unlike Anya who sings about she wants a mama, Izuru is probably like “Hello, my mother is a single woman who is considered attractive by many people. How would you like to snatch her up before the rest of the competition.” Complete deadpan 5 year old here. Makoto and Kyoko are very shocked, but they do end up talking and eventually settle into the arrangement they do in canon.
Here Makoto acts as a stronger emotional glue to Kyoko and Izuru as the two are too stoic to develop a proper bond on their own. Makoto is also very caring towards Izuru and tries to be supportive when he knows that Izuru struggles with emotions. Both with his own or other people. Izuru is a soo a bit shocked by this because before he was always demonised for supposedly having no emotions but Makoto accepts Izuru just the way he is. I think Izuru quickly becomes attached even if the boy can’t explain why, and Makoto is happy to have such a cute stepson.
As for how Makoto covers his assassin skill, unlike Yor with clumsy lies, Makoto has a “talent” for disguising attacks and assassin skills as dumb luck- sometimes good sometimes bad. You know that martial art that is based on the fighter being drunk during? Well Makoto is similar except it’s not drunkenness but clumsiness that Makoto uses. Partly out of practice to disguise his skills, and partly due to Makoto-brand luck, it often looks like he slipped and accidentally hit someone so hard they passed out. Or he slipped, tumbled down a hill and landed on the bad guy. Kyoko never gets suspicious because Makoto’s klutziness is so extreme it can’t be faked. Surely.
Like the original all 3 grow to become a family, even if they don’t realise it for a long while. Perhaps the character who ends up with the most change by the end is Izuru turned Hajime.
I see Izuru’s character progression in this AU like this:
In danganronpa, a boy named Hajime turns into lab creation Izuru Kamukura.
In this world, a lab creation called Izuru becomes a boy named Hajime.

Aight I give up
Of course I started reading a Satoru Gojo x reader fic on my "for you" page and the page reset. So i have resigned myself to ask for help.
I will now try to remember everything i read before it reloaded.
It was an Arranged Marriage kind of AU! Where Gojo and Reader were childhood friends. Reader stayed in the village and wrote Gojo letters while he was away and he never responded; so after a year and a half reader just stopped sending them all together. Stopped asking his whereabouts 2 years in. (turns out Gojo never received them AT ALL)
When Satoru comes back they are both under the impression the other hates them, but when a nasty guy comes up to reader ;introducing himself as a suitor; she backs away, rushing out of the party to throw up in some bushes when Gojo comes out to comfort them. Reader's Mother finds them alone together, shenanigans happen and now they both must be married like... yesterday.
It's a slow burn to a feast they must both host for the clan as leaders. Both walking on eggshells, mostly in the reader's pov; only coming down for breakfast or dinner to speak to Satoru.
At the feast, they are finally getting into a good banter. Even joking on hiding under the table like they use to since the reader doesn't like how many people are at the feast. Geto shows up, introductions are made, and then Geto takes Gojo away to discuss something. Another girl is there, she has many admirers. Reader looks at her then at where Gojo and Geto are and see's that Gojo is looking over at the girl. Girl does a finger beckon call towards Satoru, and he apparently follows.
Of course Misunderstanding, older clan members are asking "where did Satoru go?", "Is he with a mistress?" you know the old people no boundary kind of questions. Reader is heartbroken, but also believes that Satoru doesn't want this marriage in the first place. Geto tries to explain what happened later to the reader over breakfast with gojo nowhere to be seen.
Geto: "I promise it was no what it looked like."
Reader: "What Gojo does is his business," "Maybe I too will find my own way in this marriage." "Geto, I ruined his life didn't I?"
Before Gojo goes away to visit another clan, he tries to talk to reader through the door of her bedroom. She hasn't spoken a word to him since the feast, not coming down for meals or anything. He simply knocks, asks if he can explain, talk or see her. She walks close to the door but doesn't open it. She blows out the candle and head back to bed. Gojo tries again, but gives up and leave her be. It was almost 6 weeks i believe of Satoru being gone.
The reader is plagued with thought of Gojo, hoping he is ok, that this visit shouldn't be taking this long. Others in the clan have also filled her head with thoughts that he is just out there cheating her the reader.
When he does come back, he's splattered with blood (he swears isn't his) and scared the readers maid "Myra" half to death by demanding she get out of the reader's room right then and there.
Gojo thought the reader was going to cheat cause of the "Maybe I too will find my own way in this marriage." Thinking that the time he was gone, he was going to find another man in her chambers. He didn't cause even after feeling heartbroken, Reader still loyal to him. But reader also calls him out for leaving her at the feast alone to go with another woman.
Misunderstandings are finally understood, a quote i remember Satoru said was "If all it took to marry you was to get you alone, i would have shoved you in a closet as soon as you walked into that party."
They both loved each other since childhood, and as soon as they were making up
my screen reset. and i lost it to the tumblr maze of fanfics and hell.
So i ask for help that if anyone knows this fic, the author, anything that can help me find it; i've been scrolling for days and finally lost the will to keep looking without help.
I thank the tumblr users in advance, and a reminder that this is not my idea and i just want to find the writer to appreciate them and love them for their writing was so freaking amazing.

Yo Eve, my darling, give me a moon for the fall themed asks. Share all your secrets with me. <3
Hello Winter my queen <3 I would be glad to answer this!
🌙 moon: do any of your OCs have dark backstories or secrets they’re trying to keep?
This is going to be for Theodora as she is by far my most fleshed out oc.
Oh boy, so to start, Theo's parents were a pirate, her father Ricardo Viticius and a noblewoman Kassandra Ves. Her mom ended up running away with her dad when they fell in love, getting disowned from her family and breaking off her semi-arranged marriage. Her father had spent his life before meeting her as thief and eventually becoming a pirate, particularly raided slavers ships along the Coast of Morrowind and Black Marsh.
Theo was born off the coast of Senchal in 4E 177 26 Last Seed. Around two years later her mom goes overboard during a storm in Abeacan Sea. Theo does not remember anything about her and she finds even talking about her uncomfortable. Other women who try to be mother-figures to her cause her to lash out at them.
Ricardo never fully recovers but he is determined to be a parent as he never knew his own father. He decides to move permanently back to Anvil, the city he grew up in. Since the war destroyed the city, the East Empire Company has invested and made the city sort of a company town. Ricardo sees how their greed harms the city and how only the higher level officials have any measure of a good life; this causes him to focus his criminal enterprise against them. So Theo grows up with the backdrop of crime war. A lot of her youth was spent learning to fight and prepping to take over her father's work. Although some would say this was no life for a child, she thinks very highly of her dad. He kept her away from the very dangerous stuff, but he respected her and taught her many things about all of Tamriel due to his extensive travels.
Things come to ahead when mercenaries hired by the company head succeed in killing him, her uncle Elo Man-llu (uncle Elo is highkey my fav, iconic dunmer), and many of the crew. Theo is around 14 when this happens and she chooses to live with her friend Phy in Valenwood as they are very close and she's visited her often. They stay there until 18 when they leave for the Imperial City to try to make money and get revenge on the man who killed her family. Due to her father's criminal past (as well as him being a Great War draft dodger :P), her inheritance is seized by the Empire. She joins the Thieves Guild and becomes an Arena fighter in an attempt to gain fortune. Eventually she joins the Legion in Skyrim due to a bargain. The Empire gets the Dragonborn's service in exchange for clearing her father's name and her inheritance.
From ages 16-27, she heavily copes using alcohol, sex, fighting, and occasionally drugs (though that's more of Phy's thing). Most of it is coping with losing her father and uncle, the two people she looked up to the most, but there is also a lot of coping with the fact she's never had a mother and much of her childhood was surrounded by violence and tension. It's sort of a numbing the pain problem. She also has a tendency towards men who are terrible which include, but aren't limited to; a skooma smuggler, a Morag Tong assassin, and a married local official who funds her arena career! This gets a bit better once she starts doing Dragonborn duties mostly because she has less time to self-destruct. Originally she ran from it, only after the events of Dawnguard does she accept it and allow it to give her purpose. Though the newfound fame and expectations become difficult.
And the biggets secret she is trying to keep is orginally that she's sleeping with a Thalmor agent, and then that she's in love with said agent :P
Sorry for writing you a novel! Thank you so much for asking this question! There's a lot of thought put into her that I don't get to explore in fic because the Ondolemar brainworms haha. I just like them so much together you know :P

Nothing Will Be Fair Going Forward
my piece for @acocfictionzine, beta'ed by the incredible @secret-third-abernant-sister <3
Word Count: 2814
Summary: The war is over. Now the hard part begins. (A triptych of pre-canon Amethar and Caramelinda.)
Also on AO3
Y.o.B. 1195
Amethar paused and took a deep breath. I hope this isn’t some king shit. I’m not ready.  I’m not cut out for this.
He swung open the rock candy door to the king’s study, a cavernous room lined with more books than even Lazuli could have read in a dozen lifetimes. Sitting behind the massive desk in the center of the room was his father, King Jadain. An old, frail-looking man of lime hard candy, he seemed almost comically too small- there was easily room for two more people on either side of him before the space would even begin to feel full.
As Amethar closed the door behind him, Jadain stopped fidgeting with his hands and looked up. “Ah, good, you’re here. Please, Amethar, have a seat.” He waited for Amethar to sit before he continued, “Now that the war is over, it’s time we talk about what happens next for you and Candia.”
Amethar’s jaw dropped, incredulous. “Rococoa’s funeral was last week! It’s too soon for all this!”
Jadain sighed. “Unfortunately, it isn’t. I am old, and the losses of your sisters and mother have taken a hefty toll on me. I don’t know how much longer I’ll have, so we need to have this conversation now. I know that you don’t want the crown, that you never wanted it, but the fact is that you will be King. The issue at hand is who will be Queen.” The image of a beautiful woman in the Dairy Isles flashed through Amethar’s mind.
“You may be old, but I’m young! I’ve got plenty of time to fin-” he cleared his throat, remembering Rococoa’s words when she found out about Catherine. “To figure that out.”
“Amethar, you know better than anyone else how hard the war was on Candia. I will admit, I made a mistake in delaying our involvement, causing Duke Jawbreaker’s rebellion that’s showing no signs of stopping. In order for Candia to recover, we need to be united. We can’t afford a civil war, certainly not right now.”
“Yeah, and what does that have to do with me getting married?”
“The only one of your sisters who was wed was Lazuli. Do you know why she married Duchess Caramelinda of House Meringue?”
He nodded. “Yeah, they loved each other.”
A soft, sad smile crossed Jadain’s face. “They did love each other, but that’s not why they got married. We, as royals, are privileged in many, many ways. We are afforded freedoms and opportunities that most other people simply do not have. Marrying for love is not one of those freedoms. One of the strongest political tools is strategic marriages.”
“Yeah, I remember Rococoa saying something like that once.” He tilted his head and furrowed his brow. “Dad, you know I’m not the smartest guy; you’ve gotta spell it out for me. What are you getting at?”
“Meringue is not a large duchy, but it is in a very strategically valuable location. House Meringue is loyal to House Rocks, of course, but there are those within it who agree with Duke Jawbreaker. Having the backing of the crown would do much to silence the dissidents, and ensuring that with a more formal arrangement would make it effectively impossible for my brother to move on Castle Candy.”
“By ‘formal arrangement' you mean…” Amethar’s stomach tied itself in knots as pieces started falling into place. “Me marrying her? Lazuli’s wife?”
The king nodded. “Correct. This will have to happen rather quickly; the longer we wait, the longer my brother has to act.”
“No!” Amethar jumped to his feet, one hand instinctively reaching for Payment Day- even in his own castle, it was never out of reach. “You can’t be serious. Didn’t Citrina go on and on at their wedding about the holiness and sanctity of their love? This is disrespectful to all three of them!”
Jadain slammed his hands on the desk and stood as well, suddenly commanding the room more than should be possible for a man his size. “Amethar, this is not up for debate! The time of you being able to do whatever you please is over. It ended with the lives of your sisters. You will marry the Duchess. You will do your duty to Candia as its king. I do not doubt that you have it in you to be a great king, but first you must grow up!” He took a deep breath, and much of the fight in him dissipated.
“I am sorry that I was not more forceful in ensuring that you were prepared to rule should the unthinkable happen. But I wasn’t, and nothing can change that. So now it’s up to you. You can either rise to the occasion or let Candia fall to ruin and make it so every death since the war began, including your sisters’, was in vain. Do you understand, now, that this is not a conversation, but an order?”
Amethar bowed his head, shaken by Jadain’s all too rare display of strength. “Yes, father,” he mumbled.
“Good. Now go; the Duchess should have arrived by now, and the two of you have much to discuss.”
“Yes, father.” Without looking up, Amethar bowed slightly, turned, and left the room.
As soon as the door slammed shut, Jadain collapsed onto his chair and clutched his chest, even smaller than he was mere minutes earlier. I’m sorry it had to come to this, my son. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you more time.
Amethar was not surprised to see Sir Theobald Gumbar waiting for him in the hall. He started walking down the hall to the grand entrance without hesitation or a word.
As expected, Theo rushed after him, quickly catching up. “Your Highness, good morning. Duchess Caramelinda has arrived. If I may be so bold, what’s going on?”
“We are to be married.” Theo stopped dead in his tracks.
“I’m sorry, ‘we’ who? You can’t mean you and the Duchess, right?” he called. The prince didn’t break his stride or acknowledge the questions in any way, leaving him stunned in place, alone in the hall.
Far too quickly for his liking, Amethar reached the entrance hall. A million thoughts were racing through his head as he walked, but the one he kept coming back to was I’m sorry, Laz. You know I don’t want to do this.
When he got there, a footman informed him that she had indeed arrived and was waiting in a nearby sitting room. He nodded and entered without a word.
Upon his entrance, Duchess Caramelinda of House Meringue rose to greet him with a hint of a smile, the picture of poise, beauty, and manners. He bowed no more or less than befitted her station.
“Your Highness, it is lovely to see you again,” she said after a brief but tense moment of silence.
“You as well, Your Grace. We have a lot to talk about; do you want to do that here, or should we take a walk?”
“A walk sounds lovely.” She glided across the room and took his offered arm.
A few minutes of small talk later, they came upon the royal gardens, a massive sprawl of trees and flowers around labyrinthine hedges twenty feet tall.
Caramelinda hesitated ever so slightly when Amethar started leading her into the hedges. Amethar immediately noticed and stopped. Confused, he looked at her, before realizing what had given her pause.
“Oh, no, Your Grace, I promise, I have no intention of compromising you. It’s just delicate stuff we need to talk about, and I thought it’d be better to do so with some privacy.”
She looked up at him, and her shoulders relaxed almost imperceptibly. “Very well, then. Lead on.”
Once they rounded the first corner, Amethar spoke again, this time without breaking his stride. “I assume you’re aware of the… arrangement?”
“If you’re referring to our engagement, yes, of course.”
“Obviously, what you and Lazuli had was beautiful and special. The last thing I want to do is disrespect that, you, or her memory. But I was thinking maybe we could be friends?” Caramelinda stopped walking and took her hand off of his arm.
“I will do my duty to Candia as its queen and yours. With all due respect, Your Highness, I cannot offer you anything beyond that. I appreciate the thought and the effort, but this is just politics, nothing more.” Her tone was placid, so he was taken aback when he turned to her and saw a mask of steely determination.
His brow furrowed, and his hands started fidgeting at his sides. “Oh, um, okay. Yeah, cool, whatever you’re comfortable with.”
“Thank you, Your Highness. Now, shall we discuss wedding plans? This should be done sooner, rather than later.”
“Uh… I, uh… I’m not good with all that stuff. I feel like I’d just get in the way. Do you wanna just have it be the way you want?”
Caramelinda sighed, the path of her future life quickly taking shape before her eyes. “Very well. I will handle the planning. Given the recency of Rococoa’s death, a large event would seem in poor taste, I believe. The political optics of a united, thriving Candia can be satisfied with a historic coronation when the time comes.
That said, I assume there are a couple of…” she hesitated, searching for the phrase he’d use, “‘war buddies’ of yours you’d like to have in attendance, perhaps you’d like to send invitations to them?”
Amethar looked down. “I can’t write,” he muttered.
“What was that? I couldn’t understand you.”
He looked at her and threw his hands up, as if in surrender. “I can’t write, okay? Or read.”
Caramelinda’s eyes widened. “What do you mean you can’t read or write? How is that even possible for someone of your station?”
“I dunno, it was hard, and there were always people around who could do that stuff for me. It didn’t seem all that important,” he shrugged.
“I cannot believe this. I was married to the most brilliant person in all-” she was cut off when Amethar stepped into her space, eyes blazing and standing at his full height, a foot and a half taller than her.
“I’m not Laz! I will never be Laz!” He shouted, and she flinched but immediately regained her perfect posture. “You loved her. I did, too. Both of us wish she was still here, but she’s not. This is going to be hard enough as it is- if you expect me to be anything like her, that’s just gonna make things worse.”
She stepped back and nodded slowly. “You’re right, and I apologize.” Her voice shook slightly, strengthening as she continued talking. “Things are what they are, and there’s no point in dwelling on the past. I will handle the wedding details. Think about who you’d like to invite, and we’ll discuss that later.”
He relaxed his posture. “Thank you, my lady.”
“Caramelinda, please. We are to be married, after all.”
“Of course. And you should call me Amethar.”
Neither of their smiles reached their eyes.
17th Harvestdusk 1196
“It’s time, Your Grace.”
Caramelinda thanked the servant and looked herself over in the mirror one last time. She couldn’t help but compare what she saw to how she looked on the happiest day of her life, when she stood in the same place and wore the same color some years before. She looked different now. More tired, mostly. There was certainly no trace of the love and light that had been so present in her eyes that day, and the brilliance of the pure white dress mocked her and the decisions she’d made, betraying the love of her life for patriotic duty. Time to go. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and walked into the chapel.
Candia had no shortage of beautiful architecture, but the Cathedral of Saint Citrina was the most impressive of them all. Its intricately carved multicolor spires reaching two hundred feet into the air were rivaled only by its massive stained sugar-glass windows depicting Bulbian saints and iconography, including Saint Citrina herself. The early afternoon light threw a kaleidoscope of colors across the floor in a cruel mockery of confetti.
Seeing Amethar standing there at the altar next to the officiant, Chancellor Lapin Cadbury, she briefly understood the envious looks her friends had tried to hide when she told them about the engagement. As incompatible as they were, she had to admit he certainly looked the part of the dashing young prince and war hero. There are certainly worse men I could have to sire an heir with.
Then that moment passed, and as she walked down the aisle, the emptiness of the cathedral felt suffocating. The only other people in attendance were the king, Amethar’s right hand man Sir Theobald, and his best friend and advisor Lord Calroy of House Cruller.
She arrived at the altar, and Chancellor Cadbury indicated for them both to kneel before he began the ceremony, addressing Amethar.
“Most illustrious Prince, is it your will to fulfill the treaty of marriage concluded by your father, the King of Candia, and the parents of the Duchess of Meringue, and, as the Bulb has dispensed with this marriage, to take the Duchess who is here present for your lawful wife?”
She kept her head bowed, so she couldn’t see the look on Amethar’s face as he audibly gulped before responding, “I will.”
She felt, rather than saw, the chancellor turn to face her. She slowly raised her head, still not looking at Amethar. “Most illustrious Duchess, is it your will to fulfill the treaty of marriage concluded by the King of Candia and your parents and, as the Bulb has dispensed with this marriage, to take the Prince who is here present for your lawful husband?”
“I will.”
The rest of the ceremony and small but still elaborate wedding dinner was a blur; the only thing Caramelinda remembered was how bitter the wedding cake tasted.
20 Highbright 1197
The midwife handed Amethar a swaddled, crying bundle of black licorice as Caramelinda screamed in pain again. “Take her, Your Majesty. Bulb willing, the second child will be here very soon.”
“Oh, uh, y- yeah. Of course.” He tucked her into the crook of his elbow as he’d been taught and looked down at her, bouncing and rocking her oh so gently. She was small enough that she could practically fit in his hand, but her cries were so loud. “Good set of lungs. You’re gonna be a troublemaker, aren’t you? I can’t wait to teach you all the shenanigans your aunts and I got into growing up.” She quieted down right as Caramelinda shouted with one final push, and then the room was silent.
Three, four, five tense seconds passed.
Amethar had stopped moving, so Jet started crying again. A heartbeat after she did, the red licorice baby in Caramelinda’s arms cried as well, and everyone started breathing again.
He walked over to the bed and sat down next to Caramelinda, putting his free arm around her shoulders. “You did so well. They’re beautiful.” She sighed and leaned into his shoulder, exhausted.
“That they are. What should we name them? I quite like the name Ruby. She’s certainly more precious than any gem.”
He looked at the child in her arms and smiled. “Yeah, Ruby, I like that. And how about Jet?”
She looked at their two beautiful daughters and smiled as well. “Jet and Ruby. They’re perfect.”
“Yeah, they are. Here, let me take Ruby. You just went through hell and should get some sleep.” She nodded and helped get Ruby settled in his arm.
“Thank you, Amethar. As hard as things can be, at least we did this right. Our beautiful girls.” At least, he was pretty sure that’s what she said as she fell asleep.
He gently stood up and started walking to the nursery a bit further into the queen’s quarters. Once he got there, he took a seat in the rocking chair and let himself cry, equal parts love for his daughters and grief for his sisters. “Your aunts would have loved you both so much. They’d spoil you rotten if they were here,” he whispered, “so I’m gonna have to do it for them.” Time lost all meaning as he sat there, watching his daughters sleep. “I’m sure you’ll grow up and be able to take care of yourselves, but no matter what, I’ll protect you. I couldn’t be there for my sisters, but I will be there for you. I love you so much.” Jet stirred a little bit. “That’s right, I’m talking to you, Jet. No one's ever gonna hurt you or your sister. Not while I’m around.” I’ll burn the world to the ground if anyone lays a hand on you.

The milf and the babysitter -Akanen x reader
Tumblr media
Taglist: @skuuzae , @g-baebee
Your office job had gone completely remote. With no more long hours spent commuting, you suddenly had a lot of free time. You visited a lot of cafes and browsed department stores. But nothing beats your favorite, the library. After spending your entire first paycheck in Kinokuniya and surviving on instant ramen for a month you had learned your lesson. So, off to the library you were. After browsing particularly every section you headed down with a bag full of books. Before you left, you decided to take a look at all the posters and announcements. Maybe there was a workshop or something you could join, to kill your free time. Nothing really peaked your interest, not the language cafes or music classes. And other activities were aimed at kids or retired people. Something caught your eye, it was an ad for a babysitter.
You had babysat and your high school years and you enjoyed it. You thought about it for some time weihting the pros and cons in your head. You were never really sure if you wanted children. Sometimes you were absolutely certain that would never be able to raise a child. Then you sort of convince yourself that you would be a good mother. You have the qualities and sometimes you had the urge. So what better way to figure out if you were really cut out for parents but by well parenting. So you call the number at the bottom of the leaflet and arranged an interview. In the phone call you made a sure to disclose your hours, your previous experience and babysitting and even the general area where you live so you know how likely you were to being picked. The cheerful mother said how excited she was to meet you, even noting how there weren't many respondents to her and she was happy to get anyone.
So when the day came you dressed in a plain outfit and showed up at the address. You were greeted by a young-looking woman with a child in her hand. Did that family have two children and an older sister who was busy with studies or something that couldn't take care of the baby? Your jaw almost hit the floor when she introduced herself as the baby's mother. She was so beautiful and breathtaking. Getting lost in her eyes, you almost miss what she even said to you which was not a good start, but thankfully she repeated herself. Then she welcomed you and made sure you sat at a nicely decorated table with some tea. As you got to talking, you wished that all interviews were like this. You ended up being praised for wanting to take on this job and Akanen was even more joyous when she heard you were volunteering to do this for free.
"I make more than enough as is. Plus I'm sure that you would want to stay with the baby as much as you can and this is basically breaking your heart so I can't cause you more pain by taking money from you." you can see it in her mannerisms that she was a little bit hesitant to leave her child with you even though she knew that you were qualified.
"It is. I used to love my job so much and I thought that nothing would make me more happy than dancing but ever since I have the little one, it's been so hard to go back." Akanen replied.
"Pardon me if this is a rude question, but would I have to also talk to the baby's father about the job or" you trailed off.
"I had it by myself. You see I went abroad and used a donor, just like in my favorite book."
"Breasts and eggs?" you both said at the same time. After a bit of giggles and some more conversations about literature, you were hired. And that's how you ended up working for Akanen. Not only was she a good mother she was also a good boss. For your first visit, she laid out the whole feeding and sleeping schedule, as well as emergency contacts and the dance studio where she was teaching at. You do good and you have fun. The only tip you got was to read to the baby, since she enjoyed it.
So you did. But even with a slow tempo and the silly voices, you had run though the children's books quite fast. With Akanen's permission you started reading her personal library out loud. There were English books. Japanese books. Classics. The latest paperbacks. Then you noticed a book wedged behind the rest, almost hidden. Curiosity got the best of you and you end up pulling it,marveling at it. Yellowed pages, a broken spine, it was clearly her favorite. Curiosity got the better of you and you looked at the title. The price of salt. Or better known as Carol. You knew it, having seen bits of the movie, and always trying to read the book. It was a queer classic, so that immediately made you suspicious. You started reading it, but barely got through a few pages, instead your mind took you to scenarios of being comfortable enough to mention gayness to someone beside your best friends or ex girlfriends.
With time you grew closer. Akanen would sometimes call you earlier and just had you watch over the baby while she slept. When she noticed how many supermarket meals you were buying, you two struck a deal. She'd cook for you both, if you babysat during. She had a few sick days, on which you would bring your laptop there and take care of everything. She bought you a first edition of your favorite book she found for cheap. Overall, you had become fast friends. People who knew you from before even raised some questions. While your parents wished you were spending more time with a suitor instead, your friends thought that Akanen was your suitor. Especially after the lesbian book incident. The thought of that made your brain buzz with anxiety. Akanen was very beautiful and you two got along, so it would be natural to get a crush on her. But you had to hold back. Lord knows you couldn’t afford to fall for another straight girl.
It would be too much of a cliche. But not apparently as much as a cliche as what would follow
Akanen joined in a supermarket raffle and won. You had expected her come and rave about getting her grocery bill footed or maybe some slightly useless kitchen appliance. But apparently the local grocery store was not pulling any punches. It offered a day hot spring trip for two, spanning over a weekend and a Friday.
''Do you want it,'' she asked. ''It's not like I can just go, plus I don't have anyone to go with either. I'm not as close to the people at the studio as I used to be. Really, now the only person I see every day is well you. So it would be better for you to enjoy it with someone rather than it going to waste on me. So do you have someone in mind?'' Akanen asks.
''Well, all my friends live far away and have their boyfriends. So it's not like they can just take a girl's trip with me. I am just as lost as you are.''
''Should we just go together? And of course, this is a vacation and not a babysitting gig but far away. So I'll just drop this cutie off with my parents and we will enjoy the hot spring, what do you say?''
You hummed at the thought. It had been a while since you had left Tokyo. And well, at this point you were friends. Friends went on 3 day hot springs together. Plus, it was the right season. What could go wrong?
A lot, apparently. Akanen had no problem with her parents, you could guess they were happy too. The way there was fine. You arrived at the hotel. When checking in, you give the receptionist your IDs. She eyes you, suspiciously.
‘’You have different last names, did your parents remarry or something? Or are you step-sisters?’’ she asks.
"We’re not related.’’ you clarify.
"It’s just that it’s the couples suite. This is a family hotel, and not Shinjuku Nichome.’’ the worker replies in a cold tone. Your jaw drops at her assumption.
"We’re friends and coworkers. I won this in a raffle, I didn’t exactly read the fine print, you know. We’re not romantically involved, if that’s what you’re implying. Can we get our key cards and our documents back, please?" Akanen says. You mentally file the info that she knows about the gay district and wonder if it’s an open kept secret. The receptionist does her job, thankfully. Only when you get to the room, you get why it would be weird to share it with her. There’s a mirror on the ceiling (so far for the family hotel), one bed (covered in rose petals) and the bathroom had a weird window at crotch level. There was definitely a need for some changes. Akanen says she’ll deal with it. But her exchange goes something like this.
"Is there a way to get a room with separate beds’’
‘’I’m sorry, the room you have is already paid for. To move you in a standard double room with separate beds, you’ll have to pay.’’
‘’That makes no sense, we want to downgrade, not upgrade.’’ She swallows her anger, not wanting to cause a scene. ‘’It’s fine.Thank you. We’ll keep the room we have.’’
You two just rationalized it by agreeing that friends shared beds all the time. Plus, if you spent enough time exploring the city and soaking in the hot springs, you would be too tired to not fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. That was the plan then. Firstly you and Akanen went on a nice stroll together, making sure to take lots of pictures and buy souvenirs for practically everyone you knew. Naturally you also ate some local delicacies. At the end of the night, you barely had any energy left and delegated to save the spa for another time. Luckily the bed was spacious enough that your bodies didn't touch.
The next morning was a bit of a surprise. It was unusual for you to wake up next to someone, to even have a morning routine. You and Akanen were glued to the hip, from sharing pastries of the complementary breakfast to brushing your teeth together in the cramped bathroom. As much as you hated to admit it, it was infinitely better than lazing around your apartment with your laptop on. And another thing you weren't telling yourself was just how the time spent with her was affecting you. But fate had a funny way of behaving and you were about to find out fast. That afternoon you two finally went to check out the hot spring.
Your next unpleasant surprise was there. It was the last twinge of hope you've been holding on to. After you and Akanen had changed into swimsuits and towels, you went to check it out.
Of course, to your dismay, there was a sign stating that it could only be used in the nude. So you two devised a plan. You would go in first, then when you're done, you'd go back upstairs, shower, and get dressed for dinner, all the while your friend was still in the spa. That way, you'd save time and also each have some alone time.
After a nice and relaxing soak, you were ready to go back upstairs. After quickly showering, you got into the bed with your towel wrapped around yourself and began mindlessly clicking through channels. Hotel TV had chockfull of programs, yet nothing interesting. A thought of spending some "alone time" flashes through your brain. You lower the tv volume and go to an adult movie channel. You slide your hand between your legs, but it feels off. You're too preoccupied by the thought of Akanen coming back to enjoy it. Besides, the movie is bad, too focused on blowjobs for your taste. You close your eyes, and you try to make just the sounds of it work for you. Before you know it, you're asleep. And that's how Akanen finds you.
She doesn't expect it. To her, the "worst" case scenario she could walk in on is you, naked in the shower. And that would be dubbed the worst only because she doesn't exactly know what she feels about you. The line between platonic and romantic had been blurred for her many times before. And more often than not, it ended in double heartbreak. So she vowed to not fuck this up, to supress her feelings and not make a move. Although sometimes she swear she sees you looking at her lips, greedily. Or the little obscure reference you make to being queer and single. She asks God or the universe for either a clear sign of an earlier end of this trip.
And boy does it deliver. She scans her key card and lets herself in the room. There's you, naked and asleep. Your towel is underneath you, completely open. Your hand is nestled between your thighs, curled against your bare pussy. She's shocked and then hears the moan. You're watching porn. Lesbian milf movies, by the looks of it. She makes a split second decision and gently shakes you awake. Your eyes are bleary and you're trying to focus when you realize that the only thing between you and your crush is a hotel towel she has on.
Akanen doesn't turn off the movie. She just looks between you and the screen. The scene is showing the younger woman using the older one's chest to get off, rubbing her clit against the other's nipples and moaning.
"Is this something you're interested in, hmm. Wanna recreate it?" she asks.
You're too stunned for a moment. Yet you need her boldness to encourage you.
"Yes, please. I'd say buy a girl dinner first, but that's what got us here. Wait, have you done this before?"
"Fuck a pretty girl who's been babysitting for me in a hotel, while being every porn stereotype? No. That particular position? Also no. But lesbian sex? Yes, since I was 18." Akane replies, humoring you. Was it for her reassurance or yours, you weren't sure. But you weren't gonna think much when this gift was being handed to you on a silver platter.
"Can I kiss you?" you ask. She leans in, capturing your lips. The kiss is soft and tender, but when you pull away, she initiates the next one. That one's all lust. Before you know it, her towel is on the floor and you're on top of her. Your lips move to her nipples and holy fuck, her boobs are so much bigger than you thought. You're still shy, yet you kiss and lick.
"Get on top, pretty girl. I wanna feel how your cunt trobs against my chest. I wanna see if I can make you cum without touching you. Wanna watch you grind and fuck yourself on top of me. Look, doesn't it look like it feels good." At the last sentence Akanen turns your face to the tv, where the scene is still playing. The actress whose "role" you would be "playing" is moaning and cursing, looking on the verge of an orgasm. As if Akanen's words weren't enough, you are also incredibly turned by the movie. So you move and stradle her chest. You squeeze her breast lightly and rub the nipple against your clit. And holy shit, it feels so good.
However, you cannot just be selfish like this. You ask her to put her hands on your things, to touch you. Akanen trails her fingers up, and finally slides two of them inside of you.
This is your cue to move from her perfect tits and turn. You kiss down her body, until you reach her cunt. Her thumb rubs against your clit as you taste her. Your moans against her spurs Akanen to keep her pace, to continue doing exactly what she was doing. Your tongue laps at her wetness. Your nose rubs against her clit in a way that's making her unravel against you, and fast. She's coming and a moment after that, so are you. You both lay, side by side, sweaty and looking up at the ceiling mirror.
"So far for the friends and coworkers, then." She says.
"I mean, you're a milf and I'm a babysitter. The jokes were writing themselves. And so were the porn story lines." You reply, the irony of the situation not lost on you. Then, of course your anxiety kicks in, so you follow up with a question
"You think the hotel's gonna kick us out?"
"We leave tomorrow morning anyway, so plenty of time for more rounds before that." Akanen reassures you.
"Well, as much as I liked eating whatever dessert you offered, I'm actually starving. So maybe after we get some food in us." You note, suddenly remembering your hunger.
"Sure. But I'm buying, remember. I owe you." she adds, and that attention to even the smallest detail makes you remember why you like her.

Marriage
💍Dion Lesage x Reader💍
(k/n) - the name of the kingdom you live in
Tumblr media
Your family had arranged a marriage for you and you didn’t want to shut this down because you wish not to bring disappointment to your family or dishonor them. You will be marrying this young, dashing man named Dion Lesage, a crown Prince of the holy empire of Sanbreque. Said to be quite skilled in both martial and intellectual arts. Loved by both of his people and troops. He is also the dominant of a powerful winged beast named Bahamut.
Growing anxious because you believe that he may not like you. That he will not accept you as his wife. What if he doesn’t like me? you thought to yourself, feeling worried that you might mess the whole thing for your marriage.
The time has come where you and your family got invited to Sanbreque to go and meet the emperor and his son, Dion. On the day of your arrival at Sanbreque, you were greeted by an emperor's servant at the main entrance. Your e/c eyes locked on a beautiful castle, which is twice bigger than your home.
Your mother informed you that you must behave while inside the emperor’s home. So you better keep your goofy, silliness side of yourself hidden since she wants you to look formal and presentable towards the Emperor of Sanbreque and the Crown Prince.
This is the part where your face turns heavily red as you lock your eyes on a charming, dashing young prince. There he was, standing with his father on the throne. Dion Lesage, looking all glorious and brilliant. By the eikons, he is drop-dead gorgeous and you were already falling for him. At first, you thought he would not take a liking to you. Dion turned out to be a sweet, loving man. Unlike his father. He found you quite stunning and has never laid his eyes on a beautiful angel sent from heaven.
The dinner with the emperor started to bore you out, your parents talking about politics with Dion’s father and things like that. Dion wanted to spend time with you alone so he escorted you to his wondrous garden. Dion may have that cold-looking appearance. He’s quite kind and gentle towards you which you didn’t surprisingly expect at first.
Even though your mother wanted you to behave and act normal, you accidentally showed your childish-goofy side to Prince Dion and it startled him a little BUT he actually found it very adorable and your silliness caused him to laugh in joy. Dion began to adore your silly-childish side and honestly; he never met anyone like you. Dion is not the type to laugh like a silly fool and it’s been a while since he hadn’t laughed like that in a long time. No one he crossed paths with has ever made him laugh like that. Somehow, you managed to break out his soft persona.
Since the first day you met Prince Dion of Sanbreque, everything changed. You and your daring Prince Charming got along very well. Two of you grew fond of each other. He loved your humorous jokes you made. Dion, however, wasn’t much of a jokester. His jokes were dry but you just laughed it off with him anyway.
Despite revealing your childish-goofy side to the Crown Prince of Sanbreque, your parents were pleased to see you and Dion spending more time together. Before you headed over to Sanbreque with your parents to meet Prince Dion for the first time, you filled yourself with doubts and worries. Causing yourself to think that you might get rejected.
All those troubled thoughts are no more. Prince Dion of Sanbreque, the greatest champion loved by all people, has fallen for you and accepted you for who you are. Princess (Y/n) of (K/n), you just met the love of your life who will change your life forever.
This is dedicated to my good friend @aria-lesage 🖤 ❤️‍🔥 I hope you like it and I’m sorry how short it is ;-;

Her job as a proxy is to gather and stalk people for slenderman and gather info to help him.
Lucas personality:he was a rebellious teen, the smoking, partying kind of kid, bad grades rude, and had horrible anger issues
Backstory(wip), Kami was 13, a sweet girl who never loved her appearance. "I'm too big", "I hate my face", is what she'd often think, she was hopeless and desperate to look pretty, and that had caused an eating disorder from 13 to 17. Kamis parents weren't the best, always trying to make her the best of the best, good grades though she'd average Bs, And it was her parents faults on why she was so insecure. It was 6pm, Kami was at the dinner table and looking around. She was dolled up by her mother, a boy would be coming over, his name was Lucas, a year older then her. "Your gonna act like a proper women" her mother said sternly as she went to go to the front door. Lucas and his family came in moments later, all sitting at the table. Her mother greeting them and they started to eat. Soon after finishing the dinner her and Lucas were sat on the couch. "Kami, Lucas
... we'd like you too to start dating, " Lucas's mother said softly, a kind woman kami thought. After figuring out that she was now forced into a relationship, a boy she barely knew was dreadful, but she expected better than what she got. Through out being 13-15 Lucas would insult her, make her act like a slave for him when he came over, but when they got a little older 16-18 he had abused her, often verble but when he got drunk it'd be physical with her. One day, she was in his room, pouring him a drink while he ate at his desk while playing games. She watched him and would try to get his attention at points, but he'd shut her down with a harsh or nasty yell. Something in her snapped once she tried to talk to him one more time, but her smashed a cup on her head. She took the glass and everything went blank for her as she killed him, in sweat and tears. She had come back to reality minutes later and screamed, looking at the blood on her hands. She took her phone and weapon(glass shard) and rushed off to the woods around 8 pm in the winter. After an hour of exploring the adrenaline and fear wore off, as she fell down, the blood loss made her pass out. She thought that it, but she looked up at her head and hit the ground. She saw a lean tall figure, then passing out, hours later she had woke up, finding herself in a bed, her head bandaged as she looked around it was an empty room. A man had come to the room he was all stitched up and looked around 22. He stayed distant but walked into the room. "How's your head?" he asked. "I have a headache, but that's all," she stated, looking up at him, "i figured.." he ended up giving her painkillers. The man had multiple crosses around his neck and a black and white scarf. "Thanks.." she took the pills and sat up a little more."Who are you?" He seemed to ponder for a moment till speaking."liu, yours?"Kami.." OK, SO THATS WHAT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW, ID LOVE IDEAS OR QUESTIONS ON EVERYTHING AND MY AU FOR THEM!! (IM NO WRITER SO ANY FEEDBACK ID LOVE💕💕)

@zainiscompletelydone333 asked a question
I kinda think clementine and Mycroft's relationship is the opposite of Eloise and William's?? Like unlike Eloise who is a detective disagreeing with her fayhers criminal ways, clementine on the other hand grows up to resent the aristocracy for their rules, the very rules her mother was tortured with (isolation, giving up on you dreams for a man, not talking back or else you'll be slapped etc). While she does have her mother's rage, growing under a man smarter than Sherlock made her very adept at masking her emotions. At surface level she is the perfect lady : polite, quiet, unassuming and submissive unlike her mom, but underneath lies a very anrachiac(?) and rebellious soul. Like Fyodor, but obviously not as smart. But she is able to mentally put up a fight with her father. And what's worse is that she doesn't have to raise her voice to do so. She has somewhat similar ideals of LoC and I hc that growing up she was a fan of him lol. Anyways I believe during her late teens she eventually escapes and starts causing mayhem in London. But since she is very smart, she can figure out a way to ensure Mycroft stays away from her by pulling a few strings here and there. She knows how these institutes work die to her father, and now she can cause chaos in a more systematic way lol. I also think of her and Eloise as less frnds and more enemies/rivals?? Eloise is a detective afterall
Fukuzawa and Mori vibes 100%
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I do not think that Clementine is would be in the crime scene because she likes the Lord of Crime but more so to destroy everything her father has worked to build out of hatred for him so if that means trying to topple the fucking government and working in underground crime scene fine then, it is means to an end. But above all that the main reason she does what she does is a desire for freedom and control over her own life that she never had growing up and crime just happens provide what she wants.
The type of jobs she does are a lot less honorable than what was driving the Moriartys, her goal is not to help anyone it is just for her to have control, arranging practicality anything, opium dens, murder, theft. She will essentially become Mori from Bungou Stray Dogs, controlling the criminal underworld in the palm of her hands, but the only thing she will never do, under any circumstances is anything with trafficking or kidnapping, she has her reasons.
It is simple to say that her and Eloise do not get along. Clementine has tried to get Eloise on her side but when Eloise found out about her criminal works she has turned her away but she has not turned her in because Eloise knows the repercussions Clementine will face at her own father’s hand are terrifying, Eloise knows because she has been through it before as a child with her own father.
But of course there are times where Eloise and Clementine have to work together just like Fukuzawa and Mori did. Eloise cases deals with some certain people that would pose a threat to Clementine’s business or something is at risk of something slipping out that may reach the ears of Mycroft that would up Clementine at risk, so when times like that come up they have no choice but to work together.
Just picture Clementine coming to Eloise’s office at her estate, getting in without anyone knowing she was there. Eloise is sitting at her desk, already expecting Clementine and just there is a bit of smugness for Eloise because Clementine has to suck up her pride and ask for Eloise’s help…
“Eloise-“
“Your Grace.”
“Excuse me?”
“I am a Duchess, if you want my help at least address me properly.”
“Oh fuck you-“
Eloise has resources that Clementine does not, contentions via her position as a Duchess and with the organization her husband and Andrei run, friends in high and low places, meanwhile Clementine just has control and people who work for her that she prays that won’t betray her.
Since Mycroft still has an eye on his daughter she mostly just organizes crime, making people desperate for her help. She is only around sixteen post time skip, there is no way for her to be able to leave without her father looking for her…
Now eventually she will be caught and it could go one of two ways…
The first way is Eloise turning Clementine in because she has either made too much of a problem in England or is just getting in Eloise’s way. So when Clementine returns from a walk or some sort of party with her mother, she sees her father in the drawing room with a letter in hand with Eloise’s handwriting on it and Louis, the leader of the MI6, sitting across from Mycroft and just from the way her father looks at her she knows she has been caught and she is now back at square one, being nothing more than Mycroft’s daughter.
…The other way she could get caught is of her own volition. Eloise deals with a number of dangerous criminals and one in particular comes up that could practically destroy England and every the lot of them has. So Clementine would contact the others, Eloise and her husband, Madeline, Andrei, Marguerite, and even Hyacinth, and ask them for a partnership to deal with this issue that would affect all of them. Then like in this post it is only a matter of time before all of them disappear, and a letter on Clementine’s bed to her father which explains everything, what she has been doing, why she is gone, and that if things go to according to plan he will never see her again…
But Eloise and her husband, Nathanial, know that this case will be tough and may cost them more than they would like, but they are willing to pay the price together. Eloise also writes a letter to her father but it is not spiteful, it is not angry, it is like an apology. It is an apology because she is sorry for what she is about to do, there is a little chance of all of them coming out alive, so Eloise just asks him to take care of the twins and her adopted daughter, because she does not know if she will ever come back home.
