How it all started
My demons' periods cycles. By Mc Masterlist [Here]
Mc is calmly making a report when Raphael approaches them
Raphael: Do you have a moment? I'd like to discuss something with you.
Mc: Oh, Raphael *putting down the book* what is it about?
Raphael: It's *embarrassed* about my heat cycle.
Mc: *blinking repeatedly*
Raphael: …
Mc: …
Raphael: …
Mc: Your what?
Raphael: *looking away* My heat cycle….
Mc: … Sorry I don't know if I heard correctly *closing their eyes* heat cycle?
Raphael: *nodding* I was wondering if…. *vacillating* you could help me during my next heat cycle….
Mc: *still confused* But a cycle like the animals' or?
Raphael looks at them, now the confused one is him, he seems to hesitate. Mc realizes it and tries to regain their composure.
Raphael: Angels also have cycles, just like demons, but different.
Mc: … That demons what?
Raphael: *closing his eyes in confusion* Demons have cycles… Didn't the brothers tell you?
Mc: *blinking repeatedly again*…
Raphael: During these cycles, the instincts… *shy* the most primal instincts come to light and there are certain behaviors…
Mc: Behaviors like hunting? Or stop sleeping?
Raphael: *nodding*
Mc: Release feathers, glowing eyes or stop talking?
Raphael: Yes.
Mc: … *raising their hands to the head*
Raphael: Mc?
Mc: *raising their hand in a pause gesture* Give me a moment please.
Raphael: …
Mc: …
Raphael: You had no idea, didn't you?
Mc: … I had no a damn idea.
Raphael: And did not you think…that it was weird?
Mc: Yes… But I don't know, they are demons, I thought it was their habits, and who am I to meddle in the lives of creatures that I thought were mythical!!!?
Raphael: …
Mc: But that would explain a lot of things… A lot… A LOT of things.
Raphael: Are you ok?
Mc:*getting up suddenly* That's why my clothes kept disappearing!!!!
Raphael: I guess?
Mc: And them blaming it on the washing machine!!!! I'll kill them!!!
Raphael: *hiding a laugh*
Mc: *trying to pull themself together* So…. How do your periods work?
Raphael: Periods?... Well, whatever.
The angel proceeds to explain to Mc everything he knows about the angels' heat cycles and the little he knows about the demons'.
Mc: And wouldn't it be better if someone more experienced could help you?
Raphael: Yes… But it's a time of vulnerability and since you're out of it, I thought it would be more comfortable, as if it were a fever.
Mc: *moved* I understand.
Raphael: So… will you help me? I don't know who else to turn to.
Mc: Of course! you can trust me Raphael.
Raphael: *sighing with relief* Thank you, Mc.
Mc: In fact, *getting up* I'm going to do more than just help you.
Raphael: Where are you going?
Mc: To have a talk with some people.
.
.
It's been a while since I updated this series, I have the draft full of ideas but none good enough to share (what a surprise that creativity evaporates 😂). But I don't want to abandon it so let's get to it 😆. Raphael is the cause of it all even if no one else knows about it, and obviously Mc isn't going to tell, let's give a round of applause for that responsible angel.
If you've made it this far thanks for reading 🩷

Kinktober vs Flufftober 2024
“Sam! Sam, stop! You’re going to kill him!” You desperately try to drag Sam off a fellow hunter. You don’t like the hunter, but the last thing you need is rumors spreading that Sam Winchester killed another hunter. “Sam, please.”
“He tried to touch what’s mine!” Sam is like an animal. Not only because of his soullessness but also because the hunter tried to hit on you during a get-together to celebrate the life of a deceased hunter. “No one touches what’s mine.”
You huff. It’s not like you’re together or shit. Sam is simply obsessed with fucking you. There’s no love or even feelings between the two of you.
“SAMMY!” Dean and Cas finally come to your aid. They grab Sam by his arms and drag him off the hunter. “What the fuck!”
“He tried to grope my girl’s ass.” Sam tries to apologize that he tried to beat the life out of the man. “No one touches what’s mine, Dean. Not even you.”
“Sam, get your shit together,” Dean snaps at his brother. Lately, he’s struggling to see Sam as his brother. Death brought Sam’s soul back, but they are still trying to figure out how to turn the new version back into his former self.
Sam squares his jaw. “Let go of me, or you’ll get a taste of my strength too.” Dean shakes his head. The thing possessing his brother is so unlike the Sam he raised. “Y/N, come.”
He holds out his hand for you. You could tell him to fuck off because he flirted with one of the huntresses, but it would only cause Sam to go rampant and find a reason to fight with someone else.
“Sam,” you huff when he drags you toward the back of the place, away from the crowd. “Where are we going?”
“I need to fuck you,” he states, ignoring that you wiggle in his tight grip. “You need to feel it in your bones that your holes are all mine.”
“Says the guy flirting with some bitch moments ago. You’re only angry because the guy was nice to me.” You bite back.
He stops in his tracks to look you up and down. His eyes darken, and you bite your tongue. One wrong word and he fucks you right there, in front of everyone.
“He touched you,” he snarls. “I told her to go down on her knees and suck me off if she wants my help on a hunt.” Sam shrugs. “She was an uptight bitch. Not wet and soft like you.”
“What the—?” You can’t believe Sam sometimes. He tells you he wanted some bitch to suck him off after he almost beat a man to death because the hunter dared to talk to you. “You’re unbelievable!”
“I know, kitten,” he purrs and presses you against the wall. He slips one hand between your bodies to hastily unbutton your pants. Your eyes round. Sam can’t be serious. “That’s why you’re always so needy.”
“I hate you so much,” you argue, but don’t fight his hand slipping inside your pants to pinch your clit. “Sam, not here. Let’s go somewhere else.” You know Sam is pumped up and needs to release some steam. “Please.”
“I love it when you beg me.” He presses his lips to yours, swallowing the tiny moans escaping your lips. Sam smirks when you buck your hips, silently begging him for more. He hums against your lips as he slips his index finger inside your cunt. “Already so wet for me.”
“S-am,” you whimper against his lips. “Pl-ease. Somewhere else.”
“I want them to know you’re mine,” he growls and removes his hand. You don’t argue. Fighting with Sam is a lost cause. Instead, you let him grab your hand and guide you out of the bar.
Sam leads you toward a car you don’t recognize. He twirls you around to bend you over the hood. Sam rips your still unbuttoned jeans down your legs, taking your panties with it.
“That’s how I like you.” He slaps your ass, roughly groping your globes. If you weren’t in a parking lot, he’d spank your ass raw tonight. “Always so ready to take my cock.”
Sam uses his large hand to spread your ass-cheeks. He smirks when you wiggle in his grip. You know he wants to prove your ass belongs to him. Literally. A warm liquid hits the crack of your ass, making you whimper. “Oh, kitten. This ass is mine.” He hums. “It opens up like a slutty hole to me.”
“Sam, not here,” you try one last time, but Sam throws the empty bottle of lube over his shoulder. He unzips his pants and slaps his cock against your ass.
“You’ll let me fuck this tight asshole and take it like a good slut. Maybe I’ll let you cum this time too.” Sam laughs when you hiss his name. He ignores you’re angry at him for flirting with the other woman. While you lie on the car, giving in to his demands once again, he runs his hard cock up and down the crack of your ass to get lube all over his massive erection. “You’re my whore.”
He presses the tip inside, making you hiss. It’s always a struggle to take Sam up your ass. At least he’s less impatient tonight and slowly inches his way inside. His hands grip your hips hard enough to hurt.
“Fuck, Sam…”
“Yeah, I’m going to fuck this hole open,” he growls like the possessive caveman he turns into when it comes to fucking you. “Watch me ruin her ass.”
You don’t have time to think about his words. Sam pushes you down onto the hood of the car and holds you there as he shoves the last inches inside. You’re panting because his massive cock feels good in your tightest hole.
“You’re an ass whore. I knew it.” Sam leans over your body to whisper in your ear. “Say it. Say, I’m Sam Winchester’s anal slut.”
“I’m—” you choke out a moan when Sam slowly starts pushing in and out of your ass. He barely moves his hips, only pressing his cock into you with short strokes, but you feel immense pleasure. You don’t know why, but no matter how Sam fucks you, it always feels good. “I’m Sam Winchester’s anal slut.” You breathe out, making Sam laugh.
“Yes, you are,” he pants in your neck while his hips mercilessly crash into your ass. “Always full of my cock, only mine.”
“Yes…”
“I bet you’ll cum like the whore you are with my big cock up your ass,” he taunts. “Right? You’ll squirt like a slut because you’re my anal whore.”
You should be ashamed. Sam is fucking your ass over the hood of someone else’s car. He calls you his whore, but you couldn’t care less. The bastard ruining your ass isn’t wrong. The pressure in your ass has you tethering on the edge of an orgasm.
He’s pounding you deep, hard, and fast. Sam groans in your ear, getting more excited. His desperate groans get you more excited. Your body is ready to give in to the pleasured pain. You whimper his name, telling him to cum inside of your ass.
And he just lets go, slamming one hand between your legs to swipe left, right, left, and right until you squirt all over his hand. “Perfect whore, isn't she?”
Sam pulls out, stepping away from the car to let whoever watched him fuck your ass watch his cum drip out of your gaping hole.
“Perfect hole.”
You try to catch your breath as you lie on the car. Total spend. Sam eagerly spreads your cheeks to look at his cum. He hums before thrusting one finger inside to scoop a large amount of his cum with his finger. “Come here and have a taste.”
“Dude, I’m good over here,” the man grunts. He’s holding his bruised ribs and glares at Sam. “I don’t know what kind of sick game you’re playing, but I’m out.”
“I said,” Sam growls in the man’s direction. “Come over here and have a taste. That’s what you wanted, right? To fuck my girl’s ass.”
“Sam?” You slowly get up from the car and pull your pants back up. You turn around to watch the man Sam punched earlier stand a few feet away. “What the fuck!”
“Buddy, if you ever get close to her ass again, you’re dead,” Sam smirks darkly. He wraps his hand around the man’s throat and forces his finger inside his mouth. “That’s the closest you’ll get to my girl’s ass. Now swallow like a good boy and get lost.”
“You found a way?” You whisper to not wake Sam. After the fucked-up stunt, he pulled his brother, knocked him out. “How can I help you?”
“You need to distract him. Stay inside the room until Death arrives. It’s only a few hours; Y/N. Sammy will be back soon,” Dean gives you an apologetic look. “I know you liked this one, but...”
“Not after tonight!” You hold up your hand. “He risked my safety, Dean. If that guy was a little more..." You sniffle. “If he knocked Sam out, it would’ve ended badly for me, Dean. If we can bring the normal Sam back, I’d do anything to help you.
Screams echo through Bobby's house. You press your hand to your ears and try to blend out that Sam is suffering inside Bobby’s panic room.
Death brought his soul back and finally found a way to get the old Sam back too.
If only it weren’t so painful...
“It’s going to be alright.” You look at Dean, nodding. You don’t know if he wants to convince you or himself. “It must…”
The screams abruptly end. Death slips out of the room. He ignores you and whispers something in Dean’s ear. “I know, we will be careful.”
You gave the brothers time and space to reunite, promising to stick around for the next case. The procedure was a success. Sam is back to his old self.
What Dean didn’t tell you before Death got to work was that Sam wouldn’t remember your time together. The truth is, Sam doesn’t remember anything after he jumped into the pit.
Maybe it’s for the best. What you let his soulless version do to you was something the old Sam would never understand.
“Y/N, hey.” You look up from your book when Sam calls your name. He leans in the doorframe, eyes glued to your exposed legs. “I heard you helped Dean while I was gone.”
“Uh-yeah. Kinda,” you lie. It’s all you can do. Death warned you and the others not to tell Sam what happened over the last months. If you do, the consequences will be dire.
“Hmm…” He pushes off the doorframe, stepping inside your motel room. Sam slams the door shut and hums as you flinch at the sudden motion. His eyes are softer, and his behavior changed, but the smirk creeping on his face is not different from his soulless version’s smirk. “I see, you liked riding my dick.”
“What? I—what?” You splutter. He can’t know. It’s impossible. Death said Sam wont remember a thing.
“I can’t remember much, but the videos on my phone helped me. I must say, you have been a good little slut for me.” He laughs darkly as you stare at him like a deer in headlights. “How about we refresh my memory and you let me fuck that pretty cunt and ass again?”

Super Massive End Game Veilguard Spoilers Under the Cut!
Seriously. If you haven't finished playing Veilguard, DO. NOT. READ. So I finished DA:tV and I have been really trying to sort out my thoughts... And well...
Sdlkajshdfklajhsdfklajhsdflkjahsdklfjhaskldfjhaskldfhj I CAN'T!!! My dudes I am SO conflicted!!! Solas is the only character I have ever come across that I both love to pieces and want the best for him but I also want to beat him until he is a puddle of bruised yolk and cracked shells. This dude KILLED VARRIC FOR REALSIES! I am not okay with that. My Hawke's GOING to hunt him down when she finds out. If the Tevinter Magisters can get into the Black City then dammit so can she. And when she does, I am not sure even Lavellan can save him. Amelia (My Hawke) has lost so many of her friends/family/loved ones she can't handle this anymore. He also killed God's gift to elves Felassan. It's been over a decade since I read The Masked Empire but I don't remember there being a great reason other than him being upset that Felassan failed. Dude has GOT to stop killing his friends lol. Especially the hot ones. Like. Come on. As if that wasn't enough, he manipulated Rook. I love my first Rook (Carwyn de Riva) so much that I am STRUGGLING to play another playthrough with any of the other Rooks I had planned. To see that he manipulated her with blood magic... Stopped her from being able to mourn Varric with the others properly.... AND tricked her into that prison??? He didn't think she'd be able to get out. Luckily she had plot armor because if she hadn't gotten out I would find a way into Thedas to rip him apart myself. *Aggressive breathing noises* I feel very normal about this, obviously. Seriously though, guys, I came THIIIIIIIS close to tricking him with the fake dagger even knowing that Lanaya (my Lavellan) wouldn't have gotten her happy ending. JUST so I could see the LOOK on his face when he realized ROOK outplayed him at his own game! At the SAME time however... The idea of sending him into the Black City alone... hurts me lol! I don't want him to suffer. Dude has suffered a lot and honestly, I'm not entirely sure his being a friend-murdering ass is *entirely his fault... The longer I sit with everything, the more certain I am that Solas didn't really have a choice. Seems very much like he was sort of bound to the will of Mythal. Maybe I've missed something, I'm not as lore-savvy as I once was. But in the end when Mythal tells Solas that she releases him from her service and only THEN (NOT when Lavellan BEGS him to stop) is he willing to do the right thing? I don't know. It just reminded me SO much of his personal quest in Inquisition where his Wisdom Spirit friend had been bound and twisted against its purpose. If it works anything like what we saw in Inquisition with whoever drank from the Well of Sorrows, who's to say when something was him vs the will of Mythal? It could be a bit of a stretch but, there's certainly room for that interpretation, I think. And if that's the case, then he doesn't deserve the hell that awaits him. It's also the only interpretation I can really accept Lanaya still wanting to be with him. Varric was her friend too. While forgiveness is something I give freely, I cannot imagine reconciling with a man who did what Solas did without him having been essentially forced into doing it. *Sighs deeply* I saw the different versions of his endgame images... Shit man. The only way this man gets a happy ending is with Lavellan. Dude looks so miserable and gloomy in all the other endings. Moire (Trevelyan) was Solas' friend. She wouldn't want to send him off to be alone in such a terrible place. That would seriously eat at her. (Rook wouldn't care. Her give a damn was busted after he betrayed her for the twenty-billionth time.) It can never be anything but a complete and utter rollercoaster with this man! I do think that the ending I got with him was as good as it possibly could have been though, given everything. Sorry for this really poorly written rant. I needed to get this out of my system and it's almost 3am lol.

PSYCHO KILLER - SCREAM
Summary: in which Iris Morris has to navigate her personal relationships while surviving a psycho.
Warnings: Fem!reader, angst, mention of violence, mention of death, swearing, Amber freeman x Fem reader, Tara Carpenter x Fem reader, multiple parts.
Word count: 3,5k
A/n: the story will follow the events of Scream 5 and 6. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any grammatical mistake. Also I use Alycia Debnam Carey as Iris face claim but you all can use whoever you might like.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5
The next day, Iris received a call from Sam.
"Iris are you free today?" Sam's voice came through the line, she sounded tired.
"Umm yeah? Please tell me you're not calling me for something related to ghostface". The girl's tone growing a little more suspicious.
"Well I mean....".
"Jesus Sam if I get killed because of this fucker, my ghost will hunt your ass down okay?".
"Noted, but no one is getting killed". Sam could sense her apprehension so she was quick to reassure her. "I just want Tara to be safe, don't you want the same thing?".
"Of course I want that Sam". Iris let out a soft sigh.
"I want you to come with me and Richie to see someone".
"Why me?".
"Cause right now you're one of the few people I trust".
"Where do we go?". Iris's voice softened with resignation.
"We'll go talk to an expert".
———————————————-
Iris, Sam and Richie pulled up to this trailer far away from the city. Iris could feel Richie stare as she walked to the door.
"What?"
"Why is she here again?" Richie turned up to Sam not understanding why they had to do this with the Morris girl.
"Cause she is just as involved as I am, can you two just drop it?" The man raised his hands in defeat while Iris playfully winked at him.
"Yeah Richard just drop it". Now he was offended at the name drop.
Sam made her way to the door and knocked on it a couple of times. The could all hear a loud shout telling them to go away. It seemed that came from the man they were looking for. Dewey Riley, one of the survivors from the previously Ghostface attacks.
"We're sorry to bother you, Mr. Riley." Sam quickly apologized. "We just want to ask you a few questions.
"I don't give interviews," Dewey's voice came from the inside of the house.
"We're literally teenagers, you don't need to worry". Iris joined the conversation. She was starting to get bored at this back and forth, they just wanted help if this man wasn't going to give it then they should just stop wasting time. Then suddenly the door opened, revealing a man maybe in his fifties eyeing them with suspicion.
"Give me one good reason why I should talk to you," Dewey stated.
"I'm Billy Loomis's daughter," Sam announced, causing Iris to widen her eyes in disbelief. She could see from her perrispheral vision that Richie's reaction was no different from hers.
"The fuck did you just said" Iris whispered as they all ignored her remark. Dewey and Sam were still staring at each other.
"That's a terrible reason for me to talk to you." Yeah no shit.
"My name's Samantha Carpenter, and that's my friend Iris Morris". Sam continued as if she didn't hear him. "We were both attacked at the hospital last night. The prior night, my sister was stabbed seven times... I know you know what that's like". Dewey released a deep breath preparing himself for what he knew was about to happen again.
"Look we're just trying to protect the people we care about, we just need five minutes". Iris pleading eyes made contact to his and she saw his facade softening.
"I'l give you two minutes. I'm missing a show I like." Dewey allowed the three of them to enter his home. On the TV, Iris saw Gale Weather on her news show. It seemed like the show he was missing was the one of his ex-wife.
"Who's he?" Dewey questioned as he took a look to the only person who didn't talk.
"Oh, this is Richie, my boyfriend." Dewey shifted his focus back to Richie, his gaze intent as if searching for something specific. Richie felt the weight of that scrutiny, nerves creeping in under Dewey's watchful eyes.
"How long have you known him?"
"Six months-"
"Did he know who your Dad was when you met?" Dewey asked seriously. "Express any interest in Woodsboro or the Ghostface killings?"
Now Richie shifted in his seat uncomfortable with the amout of attention he was getting as now both Sam and Iris were staring at him too. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"Your killer's obsessed with the Stab movies right? Well there are certain rules to surviving a Stab movie" Dewey explained as he took a sip from his cup and look lost for a moment as he reflected in past memories. "Believe me, I know." Well now you bet Iris was about to open her notes app.
"Rule number one, never trust the love interest." Richie let out a scoff of incredulity. "They may seem sweet, caring, supportive, and then welcome to Act Three where they're trying to rip your head off."
"I was in Modesto with Sam when Tara got attacked," Richie defended himself.
"And let me guess, you were just in the other room conveniently unaccounted for when both of them got attacked at the hospital?" Dewey bit back, gesturing at the women in the room.
"Apparently he was watching Netflix, suspicious right?". Iris added, it felt good to know she wasn't the only one with trust issues when it came to Richie.
"Okay, do I have to take this from shitty Sam Elliot over here, or what?" Richie condescendingly replied completely offended by the accusation. "Also fuck you Iris, you also have a love interest".
Now that also perked the ex sheriffs attention as he turned at her. "How long have you known them?"
"Like 6 years, anyway it doesn't matter, Amber has nothing to do with it so shut it Richie".
"How can you be so sure? Never trust the love interest young lady". Iris was about to make another snide remark at the man when he continued talking as if she didn't exist.
"Rule number two; the killer's motive is always connected to something in the past."
"I'm related to Billy," Sam murmured quietly as her gaze shifted from Dewey to the floor.
"Right, but then why kill that random Vince guy?" Richie asked, raising his eyebrows.
"That's for you to figure out," Dewey said, making eye-contact with him. "Rule number three; and this is the most important one of them all.. The first victim always has a friend group that the killer is a part of." Iris felt her breath come to a halt when she heard those words, she knew that typically in the movies it was always like that but she couldn't fathom the idea that any of her friends would be ready to kill Tara and then attack her and Sam in the hospital. It just didn't make sense. "Does your sister have a close group of friends?"
"Yeah," Sam replied, her heart sinking as she looked at the other girl in the room. "She does."
"Then look for the killer there," Dewey advised her. "If you can figure out why they're doing this, then you can figure out who's next."
"Maybe it's someone else, it's just not possible sir, you have to be wrong".
"I'm sorry, but this type of things never change. I wish they did but I'm afraid you'll have to think who in your friend group could do something like this."
"So help us". Sam interrupted them. "Help us figure out who's behind this."
"Are you kidding me?" Dewey sighed loudly. "I've been stabbed nine times, I've got prominent nerve damage, and a fun little limp. You think I wanna do that again?" Iris didn't want to say it but she agreed with the man, after so many times dodging death, how can you be so sure you can keep surviving?.
"You just said it always goes back to the past". Sam's voice was wavering with concern and emotion and he looked down agreeing with her words. "Last I checked, you're a part of that. So, if I'm in danger then you're in danger. Come on! Let's do this together!"
"Your time's up," Dewey replied somberly.
"Jesus!" Richie almost trips with the pavement once the older man kicked them out of his house. "Yeah, he's way more fun in the movies."
"What's next?" Sam asked the group.
"Mindy just texted me, there's a reunion at her house with everyone". Iris knew they were all thinking the same thing, now with Dewey's words resonating in their heads.
"The friends".
——————————————-
The car ride to Mindy and Chad's house was awkward as no one really knew what to say. There was a palpable tension that seemed unable to go away. Iris had a gut feeling that Sam was already making a list with every friend that Tara has and all the reasons as to why they couldn't be trusted.
Finally they pulled out at her friend's house and she furrowed her eyebrows at the familiar figure of a man waiting in the street.
"Is that Dewey?"
"Holy shit! He came" a surprised gasp came out of Sam at the sight of him.
"I've decided to temporarily assist you in your investigation," The former sheriff announced.
"Thank you". Sam breathed out in gratitude and then the four of them waited for someone to open the door.
Amber, Chad, Liv, and Wes all sat there looking intrigued at the reasons for the reunion while Mindy was walking towards them to wrap Iris in a tight hug.
"I've heard about the hospital attack, are you okay?" She whispered while softly putting her hand in her right shoulder.
"Yeah you should've seen me, I put that motherfucker to the ground".
"So proud of you bestie". They smiled at each other and then Iris went to sit beside her girlfriend who greeted her with a warm smile and a gentle kiss on the cheek.
"Oh" Martha spoke up teasingly as she entered the room with a tray full of food.
"Suspects! My brother would be so proud!" There was a big memorial dedicated to Randy Meeks, her brother, and also Mindy and Chad's uncle who died too young at the hands of Ghostface. He also shared a love for scary movies and horror that seemed to follow Mindy.
There was a slightly awkward moment between Martha and Dewey as they greeted each other and the woman asked about Dewey's ex wife but they just continued like nothing happened.
Sam stopped forward with a slight tremor in her voice. "I'm glad Mindy call everyone here because there's something I have to tell you." Everyone paid close attention to everything that Sam told them, like how she was the daughter of the serial killer Billy Loomis and she even put a photo of him for visual purposes.
"So let me get this straight," Chad spoke up while holding tightly into Liv's hand as soon as Sam finished talking. "You're saying that you're the daughter of Billy Loomis, and, what, that one of us is the killer?"
"The killer told me he knew my secret," Sam said slowly. "He attacked Tara to lure me back here.
"But then why immediately go murder some douchenozzle that was stalking Liv?" Chad was trying to comprehend the situation. It's not everyday you find out that the woman who babysit you and also is the sister of one of your friends is the daughter of a serial killer while she might be one of the reasons why you and your friends are suddenly in danger.
"Why does it have to be one of us?" Wes added. "I mean what about Deputy Dewey here? Maybe he's the killer."
"Wes no offense, but that's the most stupid thing you said in a while, why in hell would Dewey try to attack Tara?". Iris intervined, she didn't know this man but she knew enough of his story to be sure that he might be one of the few people who had nothing to do with this.
"Thank you Iris" he smiled kindly at her and then turned his attention back to Wes. ""But what's my motive?"
"You got stabbed a billion times, got dumped by your famous wife and crawled into a bottle". Wes replied, no hesitation in his voice as Iris shook her head in disbelief. "I think it's safe to say you're on the suspect list."
"Well, maybe you're the killer!" Dewey wore a hurt expression as he sunk down into his seat. "Because that cut deep."
Amber pulled out her phone and typed away at something, causing Iris to look at her trying to see what she was doing.
"That douchenozzle is connected," Amber announced to everyone. "I googled it. His mom is Leslie Macher, Stu Macher's sister." Iris whispered a genius at her, causing her girlfriend to blow her a kiss in delight.
"Who's Stu Macher?" Liv questioned. Mindy grumbled out an oh my god in complete disbelief at this woman lack of knowledge of Woodsboro past history related to the Stab movies.
"He's Billy Loomis's accomplice," Dewey answered back as he leaned forward. "A real Loony Tune."
"Okay, okay," Sam spoke thoughtfully, trying to connect all the dots. "So the first three attacks are on the people related to the original killers."
"Oh, my God!" Mindy exclaimed in realization as she leaned forward in her seat. "He's making a requel!"
"Mindy I love you but what the fuck is a requel?" Iris tiredly told her friend while leaning her head in Amber's shoulder. She could feel Dewey's stare in her and she though back to his words "never trust the love interest". She looked at her girlfriend and Amber, feeling the weight of her stare, looked back at her smiling and leaning to give her a kiss in her temple. Iris felt ashamed of her thoughts when her girlfriend had been nothing but sweet to her.
"Or like a sequel". Mindy continued not realizing that no one understood what she was talking about. "Fans are torn on the terminology..."
"God! Please speak English". Chad spoke back at his twin while rubbing his face in annoyance.
"Okay, remember the Stab movie that came out last year, you know the one we watched with Iris?" Mindy spoke directly at her brother but then she glanced at everyone else in the room.
"Oh, yeah! The one the Knives Out guy directed, right? I actually really liked that one". Liv exclaimed with excitement as she could finally understand something that was being talked about.
"Of course you did, you have terrible taste” Mindy responded with a nonchalant face.
"I hate you!"
"The point is, the hard-core stab fans hated it" Mindy continued, completely ignoring Liv's comment. "You go on 4chan and Dreadit, all they're talking about is how stab 8 pissed on their childhoods... How they crammed in social commentary just to make it elevated, how the main character's a Mary Sue."
"What's a Mary Sue?" Richie interrupted the girl's rant.
"Not important bro" Mindy mouthed a thank you at her friend.
"What's wrong with elevated horror? I mean, Jordan Peele fucking rules!" Amber piped in making Mindy turned to her.
"Uh, obviously," the girl spoke in agreement. "But that's not Stab. Stab movies are meta slashers".
"Come on, it's just a movie," Sam sighed.
"No, it's not". Mindy rolled her eyes at the audacity of Sam's comment. "The original is their favorite thing in the world. The movie that made them love horror. That Mom or Dad showed them when they were ten that bonded them together! And God help anyone who slightly fucks with that special memory... Who makes a movie they think disrespects it." She then stood up, capturing everyone's attention as she kept on rambling.
"It sounds like our killer is writing his own version of Stab 8, but doing it as a requel!" She finished her monologue wavering her hands in amazement.
"Which is?" Dewey asked, sighing in disbelief.
Mindy clapped her hands together noticing her friends astonishment at what she just explained. "See, you can't just reboot a franchise from scratch anymore. The fans won't stand for it: Black Christmas, Child's Play, Flatliners... that shit doesn't work! But you can't just do a straight sequel, either, you got to build something new... But not too new, or the Internet goes fucking nuts. It has to be part of an ongoing story line, even if the story shouldn't have been ongoing in the first place! New main characters, yes, but supported by and related to legacy characters." She grew excited every second she kept on talking.
"Not quite a reboot, not quite a sequel! Like the new Halloween, Saw, Terminator, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters... fuck, even Star Wars! It always, always goes back to the original!" She showed everyone the Stab DVD as if to make a point.
"Are you telling me that I'm stuck right in the middle of fan fucking fiction?" Sam said with a sour expression in her face.
"Not just in the middle, Sam." Mindy spoke softly, her brows drawn together in a sympathetic concern. "You're the star."
"So, not to put too fine of a point on it," Liv's brow wrinkled by a deep frown. "But based on requel rules, who's next?"
"Going by the pattern, whoever it is has to be connected to someone that came before." Mindy looked around the room, making sure to take the time to glance at every person there. It was then that Iris realized how almost everyone in there had a connection to something related to Ghostface in different grades.
"I'm starting to regret coming here," Dewey had a measure of anxiety scrawled all over his face and honestly Iris couldn't blame him, if she were him, she would have already booked a ticket to the other side of the world and got the fuck out of there.
"Jesus, my mom's a character in one of them!" Wes had a nervous tremor in his voice and his eyes were glued to the floor as he thought of his mother.
"No one cares about the shitty inferior sequels, Wes. You're safe. With Randy as our uncle, though, you and I are probably screwed". The girl deadpanned with her arms crossed, casting a glance at her twin. Chad widened his eyes in fear. "Iris you are probably a target too considering what happened with your sister".
Iris's whole body stiffened at the mention of her sister, she was hoping no one would bring her up but it seemed like it was inevitable. She didn't want to think about her because then she would've to think about her mom and her own fear of ending just like her sister and leaving her mom alone in this world without her two daughters.
Mindy realizing her mistake, muttered an apology to her best friend. Amber glared daggers at her and told her to fuck off as she wrapped an arm around the girl.
"Wait what happened with your sister?" Richie asked in curiosity. A long silence prevailed the room as no one felt like they had the right to answer.
"She was killed 10 years ago by Ghostface" Iris tried not to show any emotion as she spoke those words. "Jill Roberts and Charlie Walker".
"Oh" Iris motioned for everyone to continue with the previous conversation as she noticed a look of recognition in Dewey's face, it seemed like he finally realized why the surname Morris rung a bell to him.
"Or you're the killer and this whole elaborate monologue is to cover your tracks," Richie pointed out once the conversation continued.
"Dude do you have a kink with accusing people of murder? This is like the third time already". Iris shifted her gaze towards the boy who didn't know when to shut up.
"I'm just saying".
"Yeah well no one told you to say anything, like at all".
"I think it's pretty obvious who the killer is at this point," Mindy replied throughout the argument.
"Who?" Sam inquired.
"You."
Sam's eyes widened at the accusation. She was shaking with barely contained anger. "What?"
"It makes perfect requel sense". Mindy informed her with her brother backing her up as the rest looked at Sam with uncertainty.
"Fuck this" Sam stormed out of the room with anger.
Iris quickly followed her out of the house and grabbed her arm before she could go. "Wait Sam".
"What do you want Iris? Are you going to accuse me of hurting my sister?"
"Sam I would never think you're the killer". Sam's eyes flashed with gratitude as she let her shoulder slump. "Do you think I'm the killer?".
"Fuck no".
"You see now we're even, don't let these things get into your head okey? You'll always have people doubting you because of your father but you'll never be him". If Sam's eyes started to water, they both pretended to not notice. "Worry about finding this motherfucker so we can end him".
"Can you do me a favour?". The carpenter girl asked. After Iris nod of acknowledgement, she continued. "Could you go and watch over Tara? I need some time to think and I need someone I trust watching her".
"Sam... I don't think that's the best idea, plus you have the police".
"I know but she's alone in her room". The girl sighed. "Look, I know things are not like they used to but I know you care for her and plus maybe you guys can talk about whatever it is that went wrong". They both sensed movement and saw Richie calling out to Sam so the girl quickly run to her car and shoot her a pleading look before leaving them both there.
"Fine".
"We're supposed to stick together, this is how we get killed in these movies". Richie told her.
"Boo get killed then bye".

The Shadows are Coming Chp. 3
Summary - Tech learns more about the sickness, Wrecker goes to find his brothers
Word Count - 2226
Read on AO3
Previous Chapter
Notes: Happy spooky everybody!!! here's some eerie zombie stuff for you :) I am still going to be posting once a month, sadly I haven't worked on this fic much since the last chapter... Attack on Titan has me a in a chokehold, but that can be good news if you like aot and want a nice gory fic for it soon >:) also I didn't bother editing this chp... so sorry for any errors lol anyways, hope you enjoy!
Tech motioned for Wrecker to lay Echo out on the medical table. The brute gently placed the ARC down, resting his hand on his shoulder before pulling away to give Tech room to work. The splicer immediately got out a medical scanner and checked Echo’s vitals.
He held back a curse, not wanting to alarm Wrecker more than he already was. His brother was strong, but Tech didn’t want to test his limits. Echo was semi-conscious now, his eyes open and blinking as he tried to regain comprehension. Tech much preferred him being asleep, it might have been slowing the sickness.
He seemed to be recovering for the moment though, Tech would guess that soon enough he would be coherent again. The virus seemed to attack in waves then, each one leaving the host weaker and weaker until it could fully take hold.
He needed to get a sample. He started searching the med-bay, looking for both supplies and any hidden troopers waiting for an opportunity to attack. Their intelligence was astounding, not at all like the zombies that Wrecker continued to insist they were.
Twice now they had waited until they could catch the Batch off guard before they struck. They used the dark to conceal themselves and fell into almost complete silence, similar to a wild tooka when hunting. They were even capable of speech, meaning they retained some humanity despite their now murderous nature. And the focus on forcing other troopers’ helmets off rather than simply killing them is uncannily intelligent.
All of these things showed that there was still something human in those troopers. Maybe that bit of sentience could be awakened again. There was a real possibility of a cure. He just needed the time to make it.
“Wrecker,” Tech cut in, breaking the somber silence that had fallen upon the two. “Please seal the door.” He asked. Sealing it would buy him more time in case the troopers that had yet to attack decided they didn’t want to wait anymore.
“What about the others?” Wrecker asked frantically. Tech suppressed a flinch. He turned back to his brother, fighting for something to say. He let out a rough sigh.
“I have no doubts that they will be alright, however I think I can manage here without you if it would make you feel better to go help them.” He said placatingly. Wrecker seemed to have perked up at that. Tech watched as the bruiser’s head turned from the door then to Echo, who was now sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
“Are you sure?” He asked softly. Tech knew that no matter where Wrecker went, he would worry. However, he was not worried about himself, and knew their brothers would need help to make it to this med-bay.
“Yes, you would be most useful going to help Hunter and Crosshair.” Tech assured. He turned away towards one of the counters, opening a cabinet above to search for decent enough supplies.
“Stay safe.” Wrecker said quickly, then Tech heard the swooshing of the door being shut. He released another sigh, hoping that his brothers really would be alright. He knew they could all handle themselves, but if they got infected and he didn’t make the cure in time, there was no amount of combat skills to beat that.
Tech turned to look for an IV. He wasn’t sure what Echo would need, but coming from the nosebleed he had been having, a blood transplant would be useful. He grabbed the stand and rolled it over to Echo’s bed, then went back to look for fluids.
In one cabinet, there was an unruly pile of blood bags. He grabbed several, and started a scan to be sure the virus hadn’t breached the seals. He frowned at the results. All had traces of the virus, and all would only serve to make Echo worse.
As he continued to search the medical room for any samples that the medics should have collected (there was no telling how incompetent these regs would be), he tried to talk to Echo. He really didn’t say anything meaningful, just random facts or things he’d noticed about the base. He just needed to keep Echo coherent.
Sometimes the reg would hum in response, others he would agree and mumble something else he had noticed about the troopers. He seemed to be coming down from his moment of confusion, Tech chose to see that as a good thing.
Both of them had noticed the trooper’s intelligence. Both had agreed that their use of speech seemed to be to lure people in a trap, and that they mainly communicated using the animalistic snarling they had heard before.
“I dunno if you saw it, but the trooper I had pinned before had pale eyes,” He paused, mouth open as he fought for the right words, “like they were dead.” Echo finished with a numb and haunted tone. Tech paused, pressing his lips into a thin line. Echo sounded so tired, it had barely been half an hour, how could a virus have taken hold of their reg so quickly.
Tech didn’t answer for several moments, instead focusing on the samples he had finally been able to find. There was a datapad next to the sealed vials, and Tech powered it up to go over the files that the regs had hopefully written down.
He skimmed over the aurebesh text, not too happy with his findings.
[0500, morning cycle] A new virus has been found in the base, orders were given to keep our buckets on and quarantine ourselves unless showing symptoms. The base was sealed to prevent it from infecting wildlife and further spreading.
- Nash
[0745, morning cycle] Several troopers have been checking into the infirmary, I have my hands full. Half of my medics are sick too, I’ve confined them and any others showing symptoms to bed rest. Current symptoms include: fever, dizziness, nausea, struggle of breath, slowing heartbeat, excessive nosebleed. Some had rashes on their skin, almost as if the cells were dying; the ones experiencing these symptoms seem to be dealing the worst.
Someone tried to escape the base, the captain got pissed and ordered all the ships to be dismantled. It was probably overkill, but this virus could be fatal, we can’t let it spread.
- Nash
[1030, morning cycle] There’s not a free bed in the infirmary, I’ve had to run from here to the barracks several times. There are only a few troopers not infected, thankfully myself included. Flay, Grim, Jax, and Skeet are the only others that I’m aware of.
- Nash
[1200, afternoon cycle] Some seem to be recovering now, many are regaining their strength. Physical symptoms are waning, but the infected are under a lot of mental strain. I suspect some may be hallucinating or having fever dreams often. Many seem much less aware of their surroundings and are acting almost violent. It seems to be a final affect of the disease, the ones that had gotten through it seem to have recovered, though they are tired. I think everyone should recover soon.
- Nash
[1300, afternoon cycle] I was wrong. I was so, so wrong. They’re all dead. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I thought they were getting better I thought I fixed it I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry
- Nash
Tech skipped the rest of the log. It was just those two words repeated over and over again. He moved on to the next.
[1310, afternoon cycle] they got up. They just got up. Oh Force they aren’t the same. There’s something wrong. Those aren’t my brothers.
- Nash
[2300, night cycle] we were able to get a quick transmission out before retreating back here. Grim didn’t make it. There’s only four of us left now. They’re at the door. It won’t hold long. We’re going to try hiding in the vents until help arrives. I’ve left samples of the virus, along with the rest of my notes. I’m sorry I couldn’t stop it. I just hope whoever finds this will have enough time.
- Nash
Tech was unable to continue reading. He felt sick to his stomach. Within hours, they all died, then came back wrong. He turned back towards Echo, then shut his eyes tightly. Now wasn’t the time to worry, he needed to get this cure made.
But if an entire team of troopers couldn’t get it in time, how could he? He was one person, no matter how smart he was. He might have to redo everything that Nash had done and start from scratch.
He worried his lip, breaking the skin. He didn’t have time to panic and doubt his abilities, Echo needed him now. Tech practiced the breathing exercises he had taught Echo so long ago, to help with the times when he was back there. The splicer never thought he’d be needing them himself.
When he thought he was stable enough to do so, he finished searching the cabinet where he found the datapad. As stated in one of Nash’s logs, a plethora of samples were in a neat container. They contained blood samples, air quality samples, and skin tissue samples.
He could work with this. He could do this. Tech quickly got them set up to several different machinery to test what kills them. He frowned as he thought how long that might take. At least he wouldn’t have to be present for most of it, and Nash’s findings were still there.
“Hey, Tech?” He jumped at Echo’s call. The splicer turned quickly to give the ARC his attention.
“Yes?”
“It’ll be okay.” Tesh wished he hadn’t said that. He wished he could believe that.
The door opened with a hiss.
Wrecker didn’t think he had ever ran as fast as he was now in his entire life. He was filled with more urgency than any other battlefield had given him. His brothers needed him, he needed to hurry.
He still couldn’t hear any blaster fire, and now he couldn’t even see any signs of the zombies. Tech had said something about them being smart, smart like an animal is, and Wrecker knew Tech was almost always right.
He knew the forest got quiet when there was a predator nearby; Echo had done his utmost to teach Wrecker strategy and taught him the basics like this first. The zombies were the predators, so why were they quiet now. He urged himself to think, to not just focus on barreling through the hallways.
Predators got quiet when they hunt, but if they’re in packs they chase their prey down until they got tired and could finish them off. Hunters in packs wouldn’t focus on stealth, like how the Batch usually ran in blasting unless specifically told not to. So who told the zombies to hide?
He turned a corner, tensing in case something would jump from behind. He was met with silence and shadows. Still shadows, like the water of a pond. Right now, nothing but Wrecker disturbed the water.
He slowed, the paranoia and unease getting to him. He couldn’t hear the zombies, and he couldn’t see them, but he knew they were there. He knew they could see him. So why weren’t they attacking? He was alone. He was easy prey if they outnumbered him enough. So why leave him alone?
Unless they wanted him to get to his brothers. Or to lead him away from something. Or towards something.
Wrecker brought his hand up to the side of his helmet, trying to comms for the millionth time. It was met with an irritating static. It wasn’t the kind of static where the comms weren’t working, it was the kind where the person on the other end wasn’t answering. He suppressed the urge to groan in anger. Now was one of those times where he needed to be quiet.
He was once again stumped on what to do. He wanted to find Hunter and Crosshair, to make sure they were okay. He knew deep down they would be, when those two worked together it was like fighting the force of a god, but he couldn’t help but worry.
He also wanted to go back to Tech. He had left his other brothers practically defenseless. Tech would be distracted while working on the cure and Echo… Echo wouldn’t be able to defend himself.
Kark, why was it so difficult to decide on things? Why couldn’t the answer just be handed to him, like they always were for Tech or Hunter, or really any of his brothers? Why did he have to be the one alone?
A sob built in his throat, and he clamped his mouth shut. He would not panic. He’s been alone on mission hundreds of times before, this wasn’t any different. Except in the ways that it was very different. Other than that, it was exactly the same!
He would go find his brothers, just to make sure they were okay. After that, he could bring them all to where Tech and Echo were, then they’d get the cure, and then they’d leave. That was only, like, four things. He could do this. They’d all be okay.
He jumped in place for a moment, hyping himself up to keep running, then he dashed down the dark halls.
The shadows weren’t as still anymore.
End Notes: so... any new theories on who's gonna be a zombie first, if any at all? also sorta sorry for the almost cliffhanger with this one lol, next one will have lots more gore :D

Jotting down my thoughts/favorite moments for Gobb 6 as I watch Th3Badd3st's stream vod
how long can Flynn sleep for and has he always been this lazy??
One thing I will say, the music is so much better
I think Toadster had some abandonment issues he needs to work out
"I was found the by the Queen and Bittergiggle and a few others" Interesting...
"Be careful up there!" "SHUT THE FUCK UP-"
Apparently there's a weird void pig thing now??
Is toadster legitmately just a gas-lighter now or was he just holding out on the fact that HE imprisoned Banbaleena so that she'd be on their side, Also "Incredibly clever, Good at what he does, and he's very handsome." Toadster, honey, You're ego is showing
BANBALEENA IS MRS MASON???
I saw this whole chair puzzle part when I tried watching it live and I just wanna say I love Ty's performance as Bittergiggle and how he just watches us do the puzzle while having no knowledge of what's going on just like us
I actually really like the Dadaroo voicea nd the fact you can hear the kids calling out "DADA!" at some points
Why is Flynn even smaller now?!
"How do you even talk?! Jellyfish have no brain!" I love this line, I like Flynn but I'm sick of hearing him whine
Did the seriously tease the torn in half Bittergiggle clone just for an anitclimatic agurment??
This did open up a rabbit hole of questions though. So the bittergiggles ARE made up of two halves like we orginally thought and they can talk as two as seen with that Bittergiggle...then why do 3 of the bittergiggles only talk as one? Is one half talking and they other staying silent for some reason?? can they only talk as two if they're split apart?
Bitterggigle coming in clutch to save us and that scream of pain was PERFECT!
am I the one that thinks the delivery on "Hold up, let's stay together.." was adorable. I know he's supposed to be dizzy but they way he says it sounds like he's talking to a small child (in an affectionate way) and it just sounds so cozy
although the minigame with the lights is a lot to pay attention to, it's kinda creative
The naughty one's laughed at Bittergiggles joke that's so wholesome-
Awww kittysaurus is Bittergiggles friend!
so the pipes drained Flynn of his Givanium...ok that makes sense?
"Quit whining, you're not the only one." Look who's talkin Flynn
I feel like these "flashbacks" of Flynn's are just hims dissociating and trying to dream of a normal day out with his friends but it keeps turning into a nightmare
i kinda enjoy the little emotion in Banban's "THE CAPTAIN GOT KIDNAPPED!" and "NABNAB!" it's so satisfying to hear fsr-
also did Nabnab try to chase after the bus and they got hit??
......and then we get obliterated by a bus....
The lollipop collecting was another part I saw while trying to watch it live but the lil guys are so cute, I'll just call them "Mini zolphius twins" until we learn their names
Mr kabob man saying "bird up" sounded so funny-
I....Almost got legitmately upset thinking we killed little beak...but thank god they're ok!
HOW MANY FREAKING CLONES DID BITTERGIGGLE MAKE!? There were 4 perfectly good clones that i *thought* where shown in the release trailer why not use them??
BANBAN MUTATED NABNAB!? WE WASN'T HUNTING US DOWN!?
Bittergiggle just went down the sewerslide cause they appreciated his jokes-
I....have more questions than answers....can Dadadoo corrupt people?? or something....
I had really hoped this chapter would be the jumpstart I needed for my rewrite but I'm just more confused...

So the new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer was released.
youtube
There have been some people saying that -- surprise, surprise -- the TVA is going to be a villain in the movie and I'm not sure why but they seem confused about why the TVA would be villains.
Peeps, the TVA are cops and they're probably the most accurate depiction of cops in the history of copaganda.
Like they spend the ENTIRE first season of Loki trying to kill a very obviously trans-coded Sylvie -- literally hunting her down to kill her. If y'all don't know nothing about that ya need to Google Trans While Walking laws in the US. It literally lets the cops arrest ANY trans people they think could be sex workers. New York was one of the first states to repeal the law in 2019. But it's not just Sylvie, the TVA is after -- they just straight up MURDER anyone who steps out of line in ANY timeline EVER.
And in season two they commit MASS GENOCIDE against hundreds of thousands of variants in branched timelines for no fucking reason. Just because they existed.
"Oh but Milo the thing was melting down--"
Yes, and that was proven to be a completely moot point because even after they fixed the thingamajig -- I forgot the name and I don't have Disney+ right now -- it STILL fucking melted down because of Kang bullshit.
"Oh but Milo remember when Loki became Yggdrasil?"
Yes, Milo remembers Loki becoming the God of stories and custodian of the multiverse. That's the actual term from the comics. It's not the same thing as being a janitor. Exactly....? Cause his job is kinda to just be there and make sure things don't get tangled up and fucked up so....Huh. Is Loki a janitor?🤔
Welp, I'm sure that'll offend some batshit fanperson somewhere.
You know what else Milo remembers?
When Loki went back and saved the bad cops who committed MASS GENOCIDE and recruited them to work for the TVA again. And also that by the end of the second season the TVA's job was to observe and intervene to prevent -- basically they're the fucking thought police. Literally.
They might be worse than the fucking cops -- the TVA might as well just be the Marvelverse version of the fucking CIA. TVA. CIA. Why am I just now noticing this?😶 Anyway, there are whole ass lists of history books -- nonfiction -- and documentaries about why the CIA are terrorists so....
But getting back to DP & Wolvey....
The second season of Loki was basically -- the plot was a metaphor for the importance of police reform, right? But here's the thing we need to remember about TVA agents: They're only humans. Some of whom are perfectly okay with committing widespread, mass genocide and I don't know if we're gonna see Loki in DP & Wolvey, but I feel like that Loki might maybe be sitting on his Yggdrasil throne going,
"Son of a bitch -- Sylvie was right. You people are just infuckingcapable of not being terrorists."
Hopefully cause I swear to fucking fuck if I have to see Loki defending the CIA -- even though he can be a little delusional at times so it wouldn't exactly be out of character -- I will just not be okay. I will set the fucking cinema on fire. Not really but I will fantasize about it🤣
And that's why I think we're gonna see them turn on Wade and Logan, though. Because the good eggs are just outnumbered by the bad eggs unfortunately. The TVA is gonna use Wade to do their dirty work and just be like
Anyway, I'm sorry my thoughts are kind of all over the place right now. I might be moving soon and I'm kinda manic right now. I don't know why I'm telling you that😂

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
July 19, 2024
HEATHER COX RICHARDSON
JUL 20, 2024
Today a Russian court sentenced 32-year-old Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich to 16 years in a high-security penal colony after convicting him of espionage in a secret three-day trial. The U.S. government considers Gershkovich “wrongly detained,” a rare designation signifying that he is being held as a political bargaining chip.
Today, President Joe Biden said that Gershkovich was “targeted by the Russian government because he is a journalist and an American. We are pushing hard for Evan’s release and will continue to do so.” He added: “Journalism is not a crime. We will continue to stand strong for press freedom in Russia and worldwide, and stand against all those who seek to attack the press or target journalists.”
Last night, a faulty update of software from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike crashed computer systems all over the world. Banks and hospitals were locked out of their own programs, and government services shut down. In the U.S., more than 2,600 flights were canceled and 9,000 were delayed. Bloomberg’s David Rovella quoted Australian security consultant Troy Hunt: “I don’t think it’s too early to call it,” Hunt said. “This will be the largest IT outage in history.”
Also making history last night was the final night of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the night on which former president Donald J. Trump accepted the party’s presidential nomination. Coming as it did just days after a would-be assassin took a shot at Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, killing one attendee and badly wounding two others, the convention was billed by Republican operatives as a way for Trump to rebrand himself as a candidate of “unity.”
This was certainly the way many major newspapers billed Trump’s acceptance speech this morning, in stories that, as media journalist Parker Molloy noted, were probably based on prepared remarks delivered to news agencies in advance of the speech. But it was not how the evening played out.
Since Saturday’s shooting, it has been notable that there has not been a medical review of Trump’s injuries, although he has said he was injured by a bullet that ripped through his ear. This matters not only because of the extent of his injuries, but also because Trump has made the story part of his identity without any fact check, and the media appears simply to be letting it go on Trump’s say-so, something that adds to the sense that media outlets are treating Trump and Biden differently.
Last night, Trump perhaps tried to address this lack by recounting last Saturday’s shooting. Interestingly, he did not say he was hit by a bullet, but that when he felt the injury he thought, “it can only be a bullet.” Josh Marshall of Talking Points Memo today noted a report from local Pennsylvania television station WPXI that four motorcycle officers standing within feet of Trump suffered minor injuries from flying debris. Trump has likely cut off further discussion of the topic by saying it is too painful to tell the story again.
With that story behind him, Trump hit the theme of unity, saying he would bring the country together. “The discord and division in our society must be healed, we must heal it quickly. We are bound together by a single fate, a single destiny,” he said. “We rise together. Or we fall apart…. I am running to be president for all of America, not half of America, because there is no victory in winning for half of America. So tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly accept your nomination for president of the United States.”
But that was just in the first ten minutes. Then Trump ignored the teleprompter and things veered far off course, reflecting the candidate that has stayed in the safe spaces of Mar-a-Lago and rallies of his loyalists for years. Trump rambled for more than 90 minutes, making it the longest acceptance speech in U.S. history and outlasting the interest of the audience, some of whom fell asleep.
He went on to recite his usual litany of lies: that Democrats cheated in the 2020 presidential election (they did not), that crime is going up (it’s plummeting), that inflation is the worst we’ve ever had (it’s around 3%; the worst was around 23%), that Democrats want to quadruple people’s taxes (CNN fact checker Daniel Dale calls this “imaginary”), and so on. Dale called it “a remarkably dishonest acceptance speech.”
Journalist James Fallows posted: “Of the maybe 10,000 political speeches I've heard over the years, this was overall the worst.” Statistician Nate Silver’s judgment was harsher, in a way: he began with “It’s a weird but a pretty good speech,” then posted “Semi-retract this tweet, this speech is boring AF, but there are worse things politically speaking than being boring.” Shortly after, came: “Fully RETRACT and RESCIND, sometimes it seems like both parties are trying to throw this election.”
MSNBC’s Chris Hayes watched the unhinged speech and concluded: "This is not a colossus, this is not the big bad wolf, this is not a vigorous and incredibly deft political communicator. This is an old man in decline who's been doing the same schtick for a very long time and it's really wearing thin."
The point, though, as Trump meandered through attacks on immigrants and a diatribe about the fictional character cannibal Hannibal Lecter—who he might think was real—as it always has been, was to present a picture of the U.S. under siege by enemies who are persecuting him because he represents true Americans and that he must be returned to office because only he can vanquish those enemies. Greg Sargent of The New Republic noted that Trump cannot offer a “unity” message because “Trump himself knows the MAGA masses will not be satiated without expansive displays of rage, cruelty and sadism directed at hated out groups and designated enemies of MAGA.”
For years, observers have noted that Trump’s approach to politics is patterned on the “kayfabe” at the heart of professional wrestling. Kayfabe is the performance aspect of professional wrestling, in which the actors play out relationships and scenes in which there are good and evil, love and hate, loyalty and betrayal. According to journalist Abraham Josephine Reisman, in old-school kayfabe the actors never let their masks slip, and while the audience knew what they were seeing must be fake, they played along with the illusion.
But in the 1990s, the barrier between reality and illusion blurred as wrestlers and promoters tried to increase the viability of the fading industry by tossing reality into the performances: real-life insults—the more outrageous the better—and real-life events. Decoding what was real and what was not drove engagement until in 1999, an estimated 18% of Americans, about 50 million people, called themselves fans. This “neokayfabe,” Reisman wrote in the New York Times in 2023, “rests on a slippery, ever-wobbling jumble of truths, half-truths, and outright falsehoods, all delivered with the utmost passion and commitment.”
Neokayfabe, Reisman wrote, “turns the world into a hall of mirrors from which it is nearly impossible to escape. It rots the mind and eats the soul.”
Trump participated in a storyline in this neokayfabe with World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon in 2007, in part billed as a battle over hair. Eventually he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and many observers have made the link between neokayfabe and his approach to politics. Indeed, he even blended the two explicitly when he chose McMahon’s wife, Linda, to head the U.S. Small Business Administration during his presidency.
Neokayfabe and politics came together again last night at the Republican National Convention, as Linda McMahon, wrestler Hulk Hogan, and musician Kid Rock, whose music has been featured at wrestling events and who is also a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, all participated.
“So all you criminals, all you lowlifes, all you scumbags…. Whatcha gonna do when Donald Trump and all the Trumpamaniacs run wild on you, brother?!" Hogan yelled to wild applause after ripping off his shirt to show a Trump-Vance shirt. Like the other performers at the convention, he painted a portrait of Trump’s presidency, and of the United States since Trump left office, that was a fantasy of good and evil. Hogan reinforced that there was no way Trump was going to reach toward unity in Milwaukee. His approach to the world cannot be moderated. It depends on the idea that there are two teams in the performance and one must vanquish the other.
Part of that storyline requires rewriting not just the recent past, but our history. At the convention last night, Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, said: “It is no wonder that the heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy and faced down communism sadly say they don’t recognize our country anymore.” But the Allied soldiers in World War II were not fighting communism. They were fighting fascism. The three great Allied powers were Great Britain, the United States, and the communist Soviet Union.
It might be that Guilfoyle misspoke, or that she doesn’t know even the most basic facts of our history. Or it might be that by rewriting that history to put America on the side of the fascists, people like Guilfoyle hope to make that alliance more palatable to MAGA followers today.

Heavy Rock - 2004, interview with Paul + Review
'Reise Reise' is probably the biggest European metal release of the year, on September 27th the Germans reign supreme in their own right. We bring you to these pages our meeting with the guitarist Paul Landers, who passed through the capital to promote the album. Mario Rockdrigo hunted it in situ.
How has the acquired popularity affected the band?
We have overcome all this success and popularity quite well because it did not fall from the sky, that is, before we played in other groups and we have been making music for 10 years. We knew the business a bit and we weren't overwhelmed by it; besides we are no longer 17 years old - and so much, in fact Paul is about to turn 40 - and this helped us to have our feet on the ground.
The band's music so far hasn't noticed a lot of changes, aren't you afraid of falling into monotony?
It has always been our dream to sound monotonous, although on this album we are less so than on the first, 'Herzeleid', because there are two types of monotony: one boring and one interesting, and if our case were the first we would not have reached our goal.
What are the expectations of the band towards this new album?
It is always somewhat difficult to explain the expectations of each one and if I am honest, one does not stop being afraid of rejection and of not liking anyone, but you never really know beforehand what is going to happen. When we made the album we thought more about finishing songs that we liked and we concentrated on that, we didn't ramble so much about how the release was going to be, how successful we were going to be, but if you ask me now about my forecast I think that we are going to have success.
The album was curiously recorded in Malaga; why this choice?
When we record a record we always like to go out; We prefer not to do it in Germany and when deciding we look a little at the temperatures at that time. In this case it was winter and we wanted to go to a place where there was good weather; Last year we were in France and this year we were looking for a new place, when they showed us the photos of 'El Cortijo' we liked it right away and we quickly decided to go there, we also like Spanish coffee. What is also important to note is that we either need mountains or the sea and in this case we had both.
In this new production there is a greater emphasis on the guitars, which have even more gray hair…
It's interesting because at first we thought to give less weight to the guitars, but it may be that since we've also applied less electronics, synthesizers, sequences or rave mix, they sound better or stronger. Basically Christoph Schneider, our drummer, is to blame, because he was tired of having so much electronic and so many support devices; he suggested that it was necessary to remove all the surrounding paraphernalia and do what we knew how: play.
What are the topics in the lyrics of this new production?
Well, I am going to go into the details a little, for example, a song is called «I have to destroy... but the things that do not belong to me»; In 'Mein Teil', the first single, we reflect a story that happened in Germany, about a case of cannibalism, that of the Rotenburg Cannibal, in which a man voluntarily let himself be eaten by another. In another song we deal with the theme of a well-known poem in our country that talks about a father who is going to kill his son for fear that he will die anyway because the plane they are on falls down. We also treat symbolically, in another song, the story of a man who is walling his wife in the foundation of her house and it's called ‘Stein um Stein.’
You will surely know this question well, but it is necessary to ask it given the gray of the album... Is Rammstein a metal band?
It is quite difficult for a musician to classify himself or box himself in and the usual answer is a bit evasive; It is really difficult to classify Rammstein because we use elements from different styles of music and therefore we cannot say that we are a metal band. On this new album it's especially hard to say what kind of music we represent, just pointing out that it's rock music is a bit gross, it's not right to classify it that way but it's probably the closest thing to it.
What has been Rammstein's formula to achieve success in a German scene full of bands with similar styles like Blind Passengers, In Extremo, KMFDM and in other times Die Krupps?
If there were a formula for success there would be more successful groups.
It's always easier to look back, wonder why a certain group had it and why another didn't. I think that to have it, you first need a vocalist who has charisma and some empathy, in addition to the main thing, good music... although you also need luck.
What are the future plans for Rammstein?
It's simple, in November we are going to start our European tour and we will go, among other countries, to Spain.
What is Rammstein's message for his followers?
We have really enjoyed making this album and we are sure you will enjoy it too. Success, if you really look for it you will get it. Leave your profession, do what you really like and you will succeed.
‘Mein Teil’, the polemics
No one escapes the band's desire to create controversy, in fact the first photo session that appeared this summer -white shirt and tie- seems to be taken from "Days of Fury" (1993), the film starring Michael Douglas where an exemplary worker goes crazy loading up on weapons and wreaking havoc in his city.
The story of the Rotenburg cannibal was still very recent and the gang knows perfectly well which is the best sore to stick their finger. The case of the computer expert Armin Meiwes and the electronic engineer with whom he had relations and whom he devoured with his consent horrified the entire world, and the lyrics of the song, which contain phrases such as "I want my share" or "you are what you eat ' has raised blisters. To make matters worse, you can find obvious parallels to some images of the video clip. Let us remember that devourer and devoured ate the second's penis; well, here we can see how an angel has sex or prays with Till Lindemann while he is tearing it apart and eating it little by little. In addition, the musicians appear happily, on a short leash, dragging themselves through the streets of the city with the faces of rabid and... hungry dogs. In the video they can also be seen in agonizing or deranged actions, adding as a curiosity that the guitarist Richard Kruspe appears fighting 'against himself'; In reality, it is a double that was searched through the group's website.
The clip was filmed in Berlin on June 2 and 3 by a team of 50 people led by Zoran Bihac ('Links 2 3 4'), also the author of the concept with the group. The original filming location was the Babelsberg studios, but they were occupied by the 'Mission Impossible 3' crew, so they transformed the Treptow pavilion for that purpose. The external images, shot during the second day, correspond to the German Opera, located in Bismarckstrasse. The premiere took place on July 8.
In order to understand how tremendously popular/unpopular the case of the cannibal in Teutonic lands continues to be, it should be noted that a film version of the story is being prepared by Rosa von Praunheim, an experienced and renowned director, icon of the gay movement in Germany, who will title the film. 'Your Heart in my Brain'.
‘Mein Teil’ has been sold as a maxi cd jewel case (in a special plastic jewelery box) with the following content: [1] ‘Mein Teil’ - 4:23. [2] 'Mein Teil' (You are what you eat), Pet Shop Boys remix - 4:07. [3] 'Mein Teil' (The return to the New York buffet mix), remix by Arthur Baker (famous predictor who has worked with Dylan, Springsteen, Beastie Boys or New Order among bulls) - 7:22. [4] ‘Mein Teil’ (There are no guitars on this mix), disco remix again by electronic poppers Pet Shop Boys - 7:20.
There are also versions in digipack (with cardboard box) and pock-it single (smaller than normal), the latter with only the first two cuts. In some countries there will be a standard single with the two songs from the pock-it, and there is even a restricted version on vinyl with a different track-list than all the other editions, specially designed for dk's.
The digipack and jewel versions come with a personal and non-transferable single-use code to charge access to a special area of the group's website where high-resolution photos or videos are accessed and which will be updated until the end of the year.
Each one of the different editions is being a success, once again the talk against the group has no effect, as shown by the fact that the aforementioned single has (at 2 in Germany) or that the song 'Mein Herz brennt' which opened 'Mutter' now appears in a Mercedes Benz advertisement on English television.
Rammstein uses false praise to mock the "Americanization" to which we have been subtly subjected, decade after decade, by the US. First, the group appears stepping on the moon, emulating the feat of Armstrong and company. (In fact, towards the end, the six musicians dance holding each other and in a circle around the stigmatized Yankee flag). The rest of the video is, however, even more revealing, different ethnic groups succumb to trash culture: an African tribe eats pizza while watching TV and is visited by Santa Claus, a Mohammedan prays in the direction of an oil extractor, a A Hindu smokes filter cigarettes, a Japanese dressed as a rocker combs his hair on the back of his motorcycle, Tibetan children eat hamburgers and drink a certain soft drink...
Great, a work of art that will help us enter this 21st century without trauma, where we will have to get rid of all the prejudices that one of the countries with the least history, tradition and, ultimately, culture on the globe has "inflicted" on us.
The video was recorded on August 6 and 7 -in days ranging from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.- under the orders of director Jörn Heitmann (head of 'Ich will' or 'Sonne' for example) in an abandoned chemical plant in Rüdersdorf, a town near Berlin. For the lunar scenes, 240 tons of ash were used. The team worked quickly, since the premiere took place on October 11. As for its commercial version, the second single, which goes on sale at the beginning of October as a maxi, contains: 1- Amerika 2- Amerika (in English) 3- Amerika (Digital Hardcore Mix by Alec Empire) 4- Amerika (Western Remix by Olson Involtini) 5- Amerika (Andy Panthen & Mat Diaz's Clubmix) 6- Amerika (Electro Ghetto Remix by Bushido and Ilan) 7- Amerika (Jam & Spoon So kann's gehen Mix) 8- Mein Herz Brennt Orchesterlied V ( Album Version).
Here is the content of the album, which by the way will appear in two formats, normal (with plastic box) and digipack.
1. 'Reise, Reise' - The soft passage of the keyboard to the beat of a cadent tempo is broken by the force of the string instruments, which will soon drift towards gloomy paths. The chorus, where a female choir is heard, has a lot to do with traditional German music, approaching the sound of In Extremo.
2. 'Amerika' - A ditty as silly as the words that accompany it: 'We're living in America', but one that will surely become one of their definitive anthems. Ideal to sing it in your concerts.
3. 'Daila Lama' - Disturbing clean guitar riff is the tapestry on which Till's lower registers are drawn, degenerating into a thumping accompaniment, the loop repeats before entering a lighter part, where keys emerge and female voices.
4. 'Keine lust'. The initial Paz lasts a few seconds, because when the guitars come in we come across one of the most forceful songs in his discography, clearly indebted to Rammstein's music, not being especially fast. The contrast comes at the end of the chorus, with the vocalist adopting a tone of suffered delicacy.
5. 'Morgenstern'. A mixed vocal chorus intones a chant of sorrow before the group rudely breaks in again, though by now the riffs in what you've been listening to are beginning to all seem similar. Once again German folk makes an appearance in the chorus. The drum rhythms walk towards Latin without this affecting the compactness of the song.
6. 'Stein um Stein'. Relaxed beginning where the corpulent homogeneity that was already turning out to be monotonous is lost to immerse ourselves in a piece where the group is no less epic for this reason. Lindemann displays all of his amalgamation of vocal resources.
7. 'Mein teil'. Knowing what the topic is about, and once you've seen the video, the gloomy initial keys scare you a bit. It is perhaps the cut where there is more electronic resource, like the strange effects of Flake in the verse or the synthesized sound of the bass.
8. ‘Ohne dich’. The ballad on the record, with the air of a lullaby and absolutely heir to the musical traditions of his land.
9. ‘Amour’. The last section of the cd lowers the intensity, since we are facing another composition with a calm look, in fact the base is essentially pop, although the voice makes the difference. It escapes no one that this band also sucks from The Cure, Bauhaus and many others.
10. ‘Los’. They recover a characteristic of 'Mutter', the use of acoustic guitars to face mastontic riffs. It retains the band's stamp, but a bluesy plucking ends up throwing you off balance.
11. 'Moskau'. Once again the 80s make an appearance, a sinister halo without being a particularly heavy song where Till takes turns taking turns with a lively voice.
From September 27 when ‘Reise Reise’ sees the light until the beginning of November when the presentation tour begins, there is a good stretch that will serve the fans to learn it from beginning to end before going live.
That seems to be the intention of the group, which is seen to be very convinced of the result of the work, which is why it will possibly emphasize the repertoires with it; On the other hand, this way the group will have more time to rehearse and to finalize the production of the show, which will surely be impressive once again.
The starting signal will be given with their only German concert in November, on the 1st in Mannheim. Then they will set foot, with only one performance per country, Belgium, Holland and Portugal, that will be before disembarking in the European country with the most performances except Germany, which is... Spain! There are three shows planned with which it is verified that there is a special connection between Rammstein and the Iberian Peninsula: 10 Madrid (La Cubierta), 11 Barcelona (Palau Olympic de Badalona) and 12 San Sebastián (Anoeta Velodrome). The following stops will be in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Russia, Poland and the Czech Republic, ending on December 5 in Switzerland, always with a concert in each country except Russia, which will have two dates. Back in Germany they will be performing there until the middle of the last month of the year, culminating the European tour with two performances at the Velodrome in Berlin.
After the Christmas holidays, the natural step would be for them to cross the pond, either to the States or to Latin America, although these are assumptions without great value, especially in the case of a group as unpredictable as Rammstein; they could always spin more for Europe or opt for other areas such as Japan or Australia.

Khash: *running away from wolves just outside of Riverwood, bow broken and out of arrows* I'm so dead I'm so dead- *shrieks, a wolf snapping at her ankles just barely out of reach* Leave me alone! I am almost positive I don't taste good!
Saturn: *whistles, catching the wolves' attention* 'Ey! Leave the kid alone, ya' tuskin' mongrels! *draws her bow as the wolves turn, downing one with a glass arrow*
Khash: Whoa..
Saturn: *turns and launches a containment sphere into the pack, releasing a Dwarven Venator and letting it kill the rest* Phew. *hops down from the ledge she'd perched on, jogging towards Khash with a worried smile* Hey, kid. You okay?
Khash: I-I... I'm fine.. *staring up at Saturn with starry eyes* ... You are very strong.
Saturn: *chuckles* Y'think so? Quite the compliment from such a brave warrior. What're you doing out here?
Khash: I was hunting... What is that? *points at the Venator, quite literally ripping a wolf apart*
Saturn: Oh, that? That's my... *turns to look at it, seeing the mess it made* Oh for Gods' sake, we talked about this. *returns the Venator to its containment sphere* Sorry, it's a bit restless. Haven't gotten a chance to use that one in a while.
Khash: Do you have more of those things??
Saturn: Automatons? Yes, I do.
Khash: How do they work? They really just listen to everything you want them to do?? *gasps, seeing her longsword strapped to her back* Is that your sword?! Why is it so big???
Saturn: *smoke rising from her ears, overwhelmed by the questions, remembering why she doesn't do kids* High Elves need bigger swords than humans. Longer limbs.
Khash: Are you an adventurer?? You have to be, right?!
Saturn: I am, yes.
Khash: Can I come with you???
Saturn: *freezes, staring down at the child with a look of shock* Absolutely not.
Khash: What?! Why not?
Saturn: I'm not going to risk bringing a kid with me. It's dangerous.
Caryalind: Saturn??
Saturn: *looks over her shoulder* Oh, hey guys. Took you long enough.
Kaidan: *hunched over, panting* Gods you're too fast- Where did ye go?
Gore: Uh. And what's with the kid?
Khash: *hiding behind Saturn*
Saturn: Uh.. She was being chased by wolves.
Khash: *staring at Caryalind and Kaidan with a look of shock* Is everyone in your group super tall??
Saturn: Hah. No, just look at Gore.
Gore: Hey!
Kaidan: Well, best we get her home then, ey? I've never seen an Argonian child in Riverwood, though.
Khash: I am a mercenary.
Saturn: ...
Gore: ...
Kaidan: ...
Caryalind: I beg your pardon?
Khash: I am! I can fight very well with a bow!
Saturn: Not.. that I doubt that, kiddo, but where are your parents?
Khash: Dead.
Saturn: (Shit.) Er- a guardian?
Khash: Also dead.
Saturn: ... Yeah y'know what I'm just gonna stop asking questions right now.
Khash: So.. can I go with you? Please? I promise I will not get in the way!
Caryalind: Saturn. A word. *tugs on Saturn's arm and pulls her away, speaking in a hushed voice* You cannot seriously be considering this??
Saturn: Who said I was?! That kid's better off being taken care of, not getting dragged all across Skyrim!
Gore: Not like we can just leave her here, though. A kid by herself is far worse off than a kid with a band.
Caryalind: You would know.
Gore: Yeah, and you wouldn't.
Saturn: Boys, please focus.
Gore: I say let her come. If she decides it's too much, she can leave with no more said.
Caryalind: It's outrageous! Kaidan, please be the voice of reason here.
Kaidan: *already getting along with Khash, checking out her bow* Don't worry yourself none about it, lass. Saturn's a great smith, she'll make ya' a new one.
Khash: Awesome!
Caryalind: *deadpan* Absolutely no help.
Saturn: Look, how about this. *takes Caryalind by the shoulders and faces him towards her* We bring her along, then the second we get a chance we bring her to Riften.
Caryalind: I can't help but feel like that's a worse idea.
Saturn: Have any better ideas?
Caryalind: ... No.
Saturn: And there we go. *pulls away, walking back towards Khash* Alright, kid, you can come. Let's bring you to meet the others.
Khash: Tusk yea!!!
Saturn: Pfft. That's some mouth, kiddo.
Caryalind: Like any of you are any better.
Saturn: Rude.

Khash: *Meeko laying in her lap, petting him happily as she listens to stories from Inigo*
Taliesin: *sitting some ways away with Saturn* You are absolutely insane.
Saturn: You're not the first today to tell me that.
Taliesin: It's one thing to just bring her to an orphanage outright, but it's a cruelty even I can't stomach to lie and say she can come with us.
Saturn: She would have fled if we did tell her.
Taliesin: Why bring her along in the first place, then?
Saturn: Kids shouldn't be that young and out on their own. She deserves a safe place.
Taliesin: And are you so sure that orphanage is a safe place? There have been unsettling rumors..
Saturn: ... *sighs, watching Khash interact with her family with a frown* We'll just have to see.

Hey, why aren't you taking about Milgram as much-
There's literally nothing to talk about. It ain't due to the harassment. It's legit just nothing to talk about. What am I supposed to do repeat the same shit I've already said but shorter this time? Bet.
The Mikoto brought in by Milgram definitely committed those murders and not the other one.
Yuno's murder isn't abortion and stating it could be basically equates abortion to murder which it is not. While also not explaining the several men that have consistently been alluded to and their blacked out belongings in Umbilical.
Shidou killed people in comas and vegatative states not brain dead individuals. Brain death is pretty rare its not something that happens often. This man would either have to be incredibly unlucky, working in a hospital that's incredibly unlucky, purposefully inducing brain death in his patients, working in a hospital that specializes in brain death (which, why??? but okay i believe you.), or lying to the family members about them being brain dead so they decide to pull the plug which family can choose to do in the cases of comas and vegetative states which he basically states he's doing in fucking Throw Down at several different instances.
Mahiru cheated on her significant other and this has been foreshadowed since the start of Milgram (her statements on Mikoto someone who is as social as her having cheater energy, and her going I'd never do that ever actually wouldn't that be fucked up. Similarly to how Mu said she'd never be a bully.) And it's bluntly alluded to in the lyrics of I Love You.
Amane seems to have killed someone other than her mom and I'm pretty sure I know who and that's probably the thing she's referring to when she's talking to Shidou and states all her decisions weren't good ones.
Everyone here has killed more than one person. These are all serial killers. Shidou just believes he killed the most, but if it turns out they're ordered by kills, then that would be Mikoto and Kotoko. Which I find that concept fucking hilarious. But Mu only had one victim wrong, driving people to suicide also can be counted as murder under certain circumstances, and both her songs imply this is what she did with other people through her bullying. We just saw the one person she killed directly. So, there's your suicide counts as murder too for those who wanted it. Also, another of Yamanaka's characters before Mu causes people to die the same way and at points is implied to have staged incidents to look like accidents and suicides. What about Futa though- He's been implied to have hunted down everyone else involved in the hat girl incident and I find this very funny given he asks why he's the only one here- What about them when he probably knows full and well they're dead.
Also, for straight fun- here are all the references to Mahiru's songs in the latest Deco*27 song Aitai-lians or at least the ones I saw and brought up in private the day it released-

"Love>a pain, that's incredible but that equation flips so easily don't you know."- "We fought sometimes, I was happy to get hurt. Let's have matching pain, this sickness is pretty bad."
"(hey) miss you, (grr) wanna see you, (sigh) where are you, (gaa) I need you (but) can't have you, (grr) can't see you, (sigh) can't find you, (gaa) can't hold you- Kill me now."- "If you don't hug me even our hearts will start drifting apart." "Sigh... No appetite, I can't sleep, my hair's a mess. What am I supposed to do now? If you won't tell me I can't be me." Along with her saying in voice drama if she can't love like she wants she'd rather die.
"You throwing around that later such a bitch ass move"- " 'See you next week' sounding in cadence."
"Still addictted, but actin' stupid and pretending to be a good girl"- "I pretended to be a good girl but really I don't want to say 'I'm ok'."
"Miss you"- "Love and Miss You."
"Where are you"- "Tell me, oh tell me why, are you not here anymore?"
"Calling you"- "Ring-ring I'm calling you in the middle of the night forcing you to wake up and I say 'Good Morning'."
"Don't test me"- "Even when I test you, even the times we do the breakup ritual."
"Oooh, who dis? I'm so much better, I'm green-eyed, shit. As for lovin' you can't beat me in that department."- "Do you really think you know what love is? If you do, let's just overheat together." "My lethal weapon: This Is How To Be In Love With You."
"You *dumped* me but you're smiling seriously go kill yourself already."- "Kiss goodbye to this feeling because it's too heavy. I can't no way, no way, no way." "Die."
Mahiru: Don’t say you like someone so flippantly! It’ll disappear…… words like “love,” don’t use them!
"Wait who was the hero of this story, huh, can't remember.", "I wanted you to be the hero of this story you know."- Both these lines can play on the fact this line applies both to Mahiru and her victim in her second song "This adorable, earnest, sincere heart is bleeding wailing this is the end."
Though the term hero has been related to Futa a lot as well. It can also be used under framing people in the right within the series or innocent something Mahiru currently I'd and wanted to be. However, she admits to herself doing more wrong in the relationship throughout both her songs. So she clearly knows she's not the hero here.
Also, not speculating this will be her next cover song or anything. I just find the similarities between her songs and this one interesting. I would like it if this was because it would be interesting while fitting with the other ones she got. I just want to wait until the next trial song trailer to speculate on that in depth.
But no, in seriousness, I don't say much unless I have a lot to say and can put enough time into it right now. There's not a lot left for me to chew on. Since I did my in-depth stuff over the course of the trial so I've mostly been taking a break and playing games.

on most days of my life I absolutely hate and will complain to anyone who listens about dramas releasing weekly (because I am an impatient monster) except the day my show releases!
it’s my demon fridays besties !!!
love the fact that it’s a Friday Saturday release schedule so that I can cry a bit more for my Sunday sadness moments
the intro cut from yoojung’s eye to song kang is so beautiful actually
LMAOOO I forgot how during the weekly release pattern you sometimes lose the rhythm of the show for a second because Do Dohee going with the tv tropes classic ‘everyone I love is dead’ 😔😞😭 made me just bust out laughing 😭
and you’ll die because of me too! 😔
‘i don’t care’ 👿🤷♂️
two gorgeous people kissing
the droplets suspended in the air looks so beautiful
aww they look adorable! wet little puppies 😭
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0644ca7cc95535abc8495c5bdc2be6a0/7b95f40aeafbbb54-4f/s540x810/8d432753149ad85b1389e17a271cc5f26dcd3d71.jpg)
medical undressing but with actual dressing time 🩹
oh they’re making out again, that’s actually pretty realist for kdrama standards 😂
most of them go designated kiss over, back to talking; here they’re actually making out again, like normal people do
song kang has a heart warming smile
lmfaoooo we went from fun time to eerily creepy clock room
we’re back in their room and i adore them !!!
my man went from ‘humans suck! losers!!! boooo 🍅🍅🍅 to they’re not that bad actually, love is kinda cool and i sorta get them and while we’re at it can i get a couples set dinner with my wife?!’
and let me just couple bike with my wife as well!
i will always be a sucker for anyone who’s down for cheesy things! #mypeople
wait woah my sister was going that in heels !!!
this fuckass quality…. giphy you will crumble !!!
they’re actually truly having the world’s most loveliest date. just having fun and taking walks and admiring the breeze !
same sister, if I saw someone that beautiful irl I’d also thank them 😭 [context : guwon says thankyou to the barista for his couple coffee set and she’s like no thank you 😻]
him saying do dohee always takes me out
they’re so cute y’all, they’re slow dancing
i’d be kinda surprised if there’s no criminal from the eldest son’s family like they rank a little higher on the possible murderer scale for me than everyone else. seems misleading rn because all shows tend to do this but y’all need to be in checked 😭
my short term memory is memorying because I was wondering why he was following her into her office and then remembered he’s her bodyguard 💀
I mean she didn’t have to give up everything but if it makes her happy!
two gorgeous people in one frame!
y’all are not subtle at allll with the wrist thing at all 😭 how many times has the seokhoon seen it already?
I adore the wolf gang lmaooo
lmaoooo they’re so dramatic, I love them!
the beautiful theatre dancer has a point and doesn’t have a point at the same time 😭 jin gayeong you’re beautiful, go live your life !!!
my sister said one shot while all she poured miss shin was foam 😭
miss shin I <3 u
doo hee the nut job 💀
lmaooo did he rush to her because he was happy to be called husband lmao, my man looks shook seeing them drunk 😂
he said my wife is embarrassing let me take her home and then she called him a blinding sun and he just glowed (he’s just like me fr)
all of the happiness and love he was uncomfortably bottling up inside in denial is coming out right now and I love it.
she could ask him for a toothbrush and he’d give her a loving smile and do it
cuties
poor boggy I omg 😭
your honour, this demon is whipped !!! 😭💞
the bag on his neck lol
it has taken me over an hour atp to finish this episode lmao maybe I could’ve written this later
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/44bef6e94fa84a2af49b312a77a9e697/7b95f40aeafbbb54-85/s540x810/696b6ea519f96b8ec92e92405ae7980e69c48f05.jpg)
miss shin is a mood
my wolf gang is back
the dad’s just laughing after choking someone ? 😭 this family…
it’s always fun to watch the murderers be hunted 🤷♂️
oh he killed his mom too, he was my first guess but the son was a strong case too
this cartoon villain ass laugh
my married lovebirds have a pretty strong knit game like his cardigan rn and hers during the sprinkler kiss scene
slay you found the bug
the wife seems normalish compared to her son and husband
damn did they vanish because of the card thing
woah
him knocking at the cardboard door 😭
did they fumble the continuity or something changed when they were walking at the bar because our homeless mystery queen’s teeth are back to normal rn
is she god
need that snapping finger power so bad like I also want a galaxy in my room thankyou
butterflies just follow song kang in tv shows
the second male lead kinda needs to let it go, bae it’s not that serious
why would the theatre girlie just tell that to him flat out 😭
honeymoon period over

i'm going to be attempting @batmanisagatewaydrug's 2025 book bingo! full details of the books i've chosen (and options where i've got multiple) under the cut. it is, as most things i read are, sff heavy, but i have really tried to include other genres too!
literary fiction: detransition, baby by torrey peters. a book that i somehow still have not read, in spite of everyone reading it and talking about it. 2025 is gonna be the year i feel it.
short story collection: lesser known monsters of the 21st century by kim fu. this one came from the recommendations in the challenge post!
a sequel: the stone sky by n. k. jemisin is the last book in the broken earth trilogy. for some reason this is a trilogy i can only read in hard copy (possibly because i started reading the first book in hard copy?) and so while i adored the first two books (incredible worldbuilding, absolutely devastating), i was not able to get into the third one that i had as an ebook. so i'm gonna get a hard copy and finally read it.
childhood favourite: oranges are not the only fruit by jeanette winterson. stretching the definition of 'childhood' a bit here as i first read it when i was 15 (the summer i started coming out!) and also i clearly just want devastating books, but this is my choice. i'm interested to see how it holds up as an adult.
20th century speculative fiction: snow crash by neal stephenson (1992) or kindred by octavia butler (1979). both have been on my tbr for ages, but i'm leaning towards snow crash.
fantasy: jade city by fonda lee. i bought a copy of it ages ago and it sounds exactly like the kinda thing i'd like
published before 1950: dracula by bram stoker. maybe this is the year i read this book and/or keep up with dracula daily!
independent publisher: time to orbit: unknown by @derinthescarletpescatarian. stretching the definition of independent publisher here a bit, but i've wanted to read TTO:U for ages, and now it is in an ebook format, so i have no more excuses!
graphic novel/comic book/manga: this one was really hard for me, bc there's so manyyyy i want to read. i have narrowed it down to alone in space by tillie walden, lights, planets, people! by molly naylor, the fade by aabria iyengar and mari costa, and nimona by nd stevenson.
animal on the cover: while filling this out i realised so many of t kingfisher's books have animals on the cover, so this could have been what moves the dead, but in the interest of picking a new author, i went with weyward by emilia hart.
set in a country you've never visited: also lots of options here. i went with the weight of our sky by hanna alkaf (set in Malaysia), which i started when it released but never finished, but i am also looking at kiffe kiffe tomorrow by faiza guene (focused on a Moroccan family in France) and aluta by adwoa badoe (set in Ghana). i wanted some more ya on this list, so this list of ya books set in different countries was helpful!
science fiction: man, so much of this list is sci-fi already. but i went with the school for good mothers by jessamine chan. or alternatively i might read the long earth by terry pratchett and stephen baxter.
2025 debut author: i stumbled across an excerpt from motheater by linda h coega on the stone soup newsletter, and it sounds so good! my other option is anji kills a king by evan leikamp
memoir: again, i have picked two books that will probably hit pretty hard because i am making things difficult for myself. the year of the tiger: an activist's life by alice wong or alternatively i'm glad my mom died by jennette mccurdy.
read a zine, make a zine: i'm going to be browsing the queer zine library, which is a mobile zine library based in the UK (i went to a zine fair they hosted several years ago!) for inspiration.
essay collection: the book of queer prophets: 24 writers on sexuality and religion, edited by ruth hunt. another book i've owned for ages and never read!
2024 award winner: some desperate glory by emily tesh, which won the 2024 hugo award for best novel.
nonfiction - learn something new: the age of surveillance capitalism by shoshana zuboff. of all the books on this list, this is the one i'm least confident about my ability to actually finish. it's a hefty book. but i'm gonna give it another shot!
social justice and activism: there were a lot of books on my tbr that could've fit this. i went with saving our own lives: a liberatory practice of harm reduction by shira hassan, which i got as a present last year. the other option is care work: dreaming disability justice.
romance novel: i'm quite proud of finding a romance novel my partner didn't rec for me for once. make room for love by darcy liao.
read and make a recipe: i love ruby tandoh, so i am going to read her cookbook, cook as you are! i also considered london feeds itself by the vittles team, but i don't think that counts as a cookbook.
horror: coup de grace by sofia ajram. i didn't know much recent horror, so this list of 2024 horror releases was helpful!
published in the aughts: white teeth by zadie smith. apparently it's very 2000s london, so i'm intrigued!
historical fiction: gods of jade and shadow by silvia moreno-garcia, which is a historical fantasy set in mexico. my other option is plain bad heroines by emily m danforth, who wrote one of my favourite books of all time (the miseducation of cameron post).
bookseller recommendation: thank you to the bookseller who recommended brandon sanderson's tress of the emerald sea when i was checking out the adventures of amina al-sirafi! apparently it also has ocean vibes, and maybe this is the year i finally read a brandon sanderson novel.
there's some other books i'm really looking forward to reading that didn't fit on my bingo list, which are: the river has roots by amal el-mohtar, the lighthouse at the edge of the world by j.r. dawson, death of the author by nnedi okorafor, and exordia by seth dickinson. i'm including them here so everything is in one place. i'm super excited to get a start on this challenge!
#2025 book bingo#2025 is an experience#i may try and update with progress/reviews during the year#we'll see!#sff#books#text post#my post

🍲 emoji for OC knowledge
honestly ramen or anything similar sounds good rn its cold and rainy where i am :sob emoji:
i'm gonna release my baby pix from the vault. he's definitely... EVOLVED as time as gone on.
he was originally supposed to be a self insert character to go alongside pitt from the kid icarus games (i never played them but pitt is my favorite character to play in smash and the idea for pix came around this similar time frame. i was like 12-13 at the time probably). back in the day pix was a gyal bc i thought i was, but whaddya know, just like chidori (who was originally a self insert for kid me) he ended up turning transmasc LMAO.
i actually decided to revamp pix's backstory thing recently... as in last year? so i'll kinda post that long ass blurb:
grew up in a church and decided they were to become a cleric. trained and put everything they had towards it and were sent on a quest along with some idk others for some divine purpose? but they experienced hardships and their gods will became harder and harder to discern. they saw horrors and could do nothing for the way of their god forbade them from intervening. finally pix saw the destruction of a village and their companions perished all to get an old sacred artifact of their god. that was what the quest was about. the god had used pix as a conduit for their wishes and revealed themselves to be a spurned god and pix just idk released them from their prison ? and pix kind of has a mental break and the god basically leaves them for dead etc etc. but pix’s desire for revenge is heard by their dead/dying companions and they vow if they will give them the strength they will hunt down that god and kill them. pix awakens in a hospital or with a healer or something whatever. they were the lone survivor of the attack but no one knows their hand in helping it happen. the light is gone from their eyes but they realize this is their chance they’ve been granted to make amends. so they switch from a cleric to a paladin -> their holy oath binding them to those of the dead city and their old companions. they start to train, become colder, get older, the only thing they think about is to kill that god tm. they cut down any clerics or worshippers of that god they find… their mental state gets worse and worse and all they can think of is vengeance. etc etc. annnnnnnd idk 🤔 eventually i'm assuming that they'll discover gender somewhere along the way and also get revenge on that god probably but idk he also deserves love and to fucking Sleep.
anyway pix transitioning from she > they > trans masc rage is actually important to me. bc i am full of rage.
also also, i need to make it less. dnd. y. cuz i like dnd as a whole and concept but i only make dnd adjacent things out of jealousy for people who can actually have campaigns and friends to do them with (ik i'm not cut out for it but that doesn't stop me from feeling left out anyway) so dnd is a good jumping off point, but i'd like to imbue more of my own worldbuilding and ideals into it.
but yeah that's pix he's doing his best probably. naive -> trauma -> antihero -> borderline villain route is basically the vibe
send me an emoji for a random barely used oc ramble
