...as opposed to their cousins, the Minor Blue Dragons, which are based on velociraptors, and I am yet to draw.

the biggest inspiration for Major Blur Dragons was the Quetzalcoatlus, as I thought it was the best real-world reference for a large flying creature (they're so vindicating for dragon lovers). And like the Quetzalcoatlus, Major Blues are fish-eating and mainly live on cliff shores.

having my dragons be six-limbed has the fun perk of allowing me to give a creature wings and hands without the functions competing for space like they do on Owlba arms.

unlike my Black, Red, and Green Dragons, both Major and Minor Blue Dragons walk in an upright posture, which allows them to use their hands like we do. this gives them an advantage to civilization building over other species, and so they can be found all over the continent.

His option on the poll isn't posted yet and won't be for a while, so I'll have to give all the information on him that I have.

I'm afraid I can't really linearly separate character information from world lore, so this may read a little weird...

the life and legal status of Androids in the Lazuli Empire (the one described in Adrian and Clair's entries) is complicated. for this setting they are people, but since the only way to make them is to build them, finding a balance between keeping android manufacturing profitable enough so they don't die out while restricting it enough to keep them ethically treated is so tricky even androids are divided on it.

selling generic models (like Clair) is allowed, but they're granted independence after 18 years. what most people consider the most ethical option to be is to build them yourself, which Logis was.

Logis is basically a super-computer hidden in a clock-making droid built to help the Night Lights' mission of exposing government secrets.

Another one of the big BIG, issues with Android life is that they're all constantly tracked. removing trackers is illegal. androids often get damaged or contract viruses from trojans when they try to get trackers removed by scammers.

so when Logis isn't making clocks or investigating cases, he works as a doctor/mechanic for androids dealing with trackers and other problems they can't get fixed conventionally.

Most androids can feel a wide range of emotion, but Logis doesn't, and he doesn't have much in the way of personal beliefs or morals (aside from what he was programmed with) either. So while he's generally very kind, it's really just because he doesn't care to be mean.

but he does have interests and passions! he appreciates art, especially mathematical art, to the point where he has a Barnsley Fern engraving on his back.

the exact plot beat is still being worked on, but eventually he experiences an awakening that radically changes him, and he starts holding morals and beliefs and even experiencing more emotions.

Alrighty, fun art time!

A simple apron. it doesn't cover much, but is one of the easiest things for me to design

Hooded Poncho + skirt. Ponchos would be very common, the near equivalent of a T-shirt even.

A dress! The hood would fit right over it if extra warms was ever needed.

and finally...

...pants. They look pretty embarrassing to me as they can't cover their butts, but these would be useful as undergarments for a skirt if they needed even more warmth.

They're all feathered sure, but the lever of fluff varies from tribe to tribe, and they don't all live in the same temperature climate, so warmth would still be appreciated.

For maximum warmth, I'd stack the pants, dress, and hood.

Why is it whenever we design really non-humananoid or animal-like races, we’re always having them wear no clothes? Why do we assume the human form is the only form that could possibly make clothing work? Just because centaurs would find pants problematic, that means they wouldn’t invent dresses? Just because the dragon-people have wings for arms, they can’t have togas and shorts? Just because a creature is a tentacle monster or has a hard carapace, they have no sense of modesty? Give me alien/fantasy/anthro fashion, dangit!

also: at this point any time you install a free app, you should check your settings for dogwhistles that they're selling your data or using it for AI - some words to look for are around "personalization", "enhancement", or "training". most of the time, there's a toggle you can turn off. Tumblr has one, most social media networks (IG, Twitter, LinkedIn, you name it) - the rabbithole runs deep.

Las comunidades son una forma nueva y muy sencilla de conectar con otras personas que usan Tumblr y comparten vuestros mismos intereses e inquietudes. Podéis invitar a blogs con los que os seguís a una comunidad privada o abrir una pública sobre las cosas que os apasionan y ver cómo se llena de gente interesante. Es como el bolso de cierta institutriz británica: cabe (casi) de todo en ellas; sí, también un montón de integrantes.

Ayer, la versión de prueba de las comunidades se convirtió en una flamante función más al alcance de todas las personas que usáis Tumblr. during the intergalactic space war, cyberlife deploys android soldiers to be used in combat to prevent more human deaths. the rk800 is a specialized prototype sent work with the unit of earth's military that specializes in reconnaissance and intel. he it is assigned to lieutenant hank anderson for further testing.

i have a soft spot for faceless characters. like i think they're just so cute with their nonexistent yet expressive faces. and someone i follow has been reblogging a lot of gabriel from ultrakill (i know nothing about the character or the game but the art is so cool) who is a faceless character so i really wanted to draw one.

and hence this au was born.

connor's design is based off cyberlife's skinless android design and a little bit of viktor's robot followers (from arcane). y'all i am shit at technical drawing so apologies for my kinda scuffed robot design. i am no engineer that's for sure.

anyway i have no other ideas for this au so if someone sees this and is like hey that sounds like a cool fic idea, feel free to write it and just tag or dm me cause i'd love to read it. ALSO, if anyone has any more cool ideas for this i would love to draw it more bc i'm all out ahhahahah. (literally just drew this just to give connor a cute lil robo design LMAO)

I was watching the Marvel show What If…? Last night and tell me why Arcane Machine (Magic) Herald is literally Infinity Ultron

Both are “robots”/robotic (ik Ultron is an android just stay with me) who got cosmic powers and wanted to achieve “peace” but their visions got skewed and they decided the only way to achieve their goals was by wiping out all of humanity and at the end after everyone was gone they both realized there was nothing else to pursue after everyone was gone LIKE????

Ya’ll, I forgot this man’s birthday—I feel so guilty.

Like, I know he is an android who could most likely decimate me in one move, but he is so… babygirl. He is my original babygirl. This man walked so Viktor from Arcane could run. He literally defined my taste in men—it’s either scrawny nerds or burly military men, ain’t no in between—so, thank you Lieutenant Commander Data!

In addition, not only is Data the prime equilibrium of being both inexplicably hot and hyperactively adorable, the man can fuck. Literally the first episode we meet this man, he already explains that his positronic brain has programs in, and I quote, “multiple techniques, a broad variety of pleasuring”. Like, did I say that I love this man?

Anyway, here’s young Brent Spiner.
