That said, I feel the need to address a couple of things that have been making the rounds in JKK blogs.

Yes, stupid y/n anons and their shit asks all being smug and confident about absolutely nothing they actually know. And I wouldn't entertain this shit, but I do want to make a couple of points here and this is a great opportunity to do so.

Let's start with the rumour, yes, it's a rumour and not confirmed even if in their asks they say it is, that the song is about sex. I mean, I could make the assumption that having 2 versions of it could mean that.

Although explicit can mean use of swear words, you do know that? But let's run with it being explicit as in all about sex. 7 days a week of invigorating, blood boiling (in a good way), juices running, sex having. Let's just say it's about that.

Does that mean it's straight sex? Cause I can assure you that our y/n anons have definitley not gotten their hands on the lyrics, have not seen them or read them or heard the song. So, let's scratch that assumption, why don't we?

I would actually like to teach the anons a lesson in life, maybe something they don't know yet, perhaps due to ignorance and immaturity, but hey, here's a little wittle secret... queer people, you know, gay, lesbian, bi, etc., they do have sex, with each other (yeah not each other each other, you know what I mean, lol), A LOT, all the time, sometimes, gasp, 7 days a week.

Mind blowing, right?

So I guess we established that a song about sex does not necessarily mean a song about straight sex.

Moving on.

2 translations. From both we learn that this IS NOT a song that JK wrote. This is a song he was given to record, a song he listened to, liked and decided to do.

This is super important. Because this is what makes the difference between a song being personal, having a personal meaning, something he wrote and created, and we know that JK writes about his personal experiences, and a song that is not personal, a nice song he liked and wanted to record. Not that unsimilar to many of his covers or songs he likes to sing when he's doing karaoke.

And perhaps this is also why it's being released as a single and maybe not part of his solo album? Although it could be on the album, but I kind of feel that for a first solo album, he would want to do more personal. Maybe that's also why he told us the album is not done and this is something totally separate. Who knows. What we do know though, is that this was not a song he wrote.

Anyway, this is important, because this song will be JK as a performer more so than a creator, if you get where I'm going here. The song is not a personal creation or envision of himself in real life. It's him singing, as an artist, a song that someone else wrote. People sometimes forget that as artists not everything you sing about or act or write is personal or about yourself or your life or your experiences. We know, from JK, that when he writes he does take from his own life experiences, his writing is very personal, but in this case this isn't a song he wrote, and I know I'm repeating myself here, but this is very important to understand and remember.

Ok, moving on to the MV and the claims, again rumour based, of Sohee being in it.

Let's establish a couple of baselines here shall we?

First of all anons did not see the MV so they have zero clue who's in it and what it's about. Every word they spew with regards to that MV is one big hot y/n assumption based on unsubstantiated rumours.

Second, as mentioned, we don't know who is in this and what it's about.

Now let's play around a little, make this a fun guessing game of what ifs and so whats, lol.

What if Sohee is in the MV? Ok, what if? I think the anons need to go look up who Hun Sohee is and what's been the talk surrounding her (cough queer cough) before rejoicing that she might be in JK's MV.

Btw, clear example of a very possibly queer actress acting in straight rolls. And if you want to go the other side of this, flip the coin and assume she's straight, well you will get a straight actress who has acted in a queer movie. Either way works for me to prove the point.

What if the song is about sex? I guess we kind of discussed this before, didn't we?

Now let's add the two together.

What if the song is about sex and Hun Sohee is in it? To that I will add a question to the anon/s that most definitley have not seen the MV as of yet and will be happily (or maybe not too happily) be watching it with us on the 14th of July 2023, Silver day, at 13:00 KST: What if the MV is filled with sex, all kind of sex, straight sex, queer sex, upside down or inside out sex, (whatever your fancy as long as you are a consenting adult)? What if JK is singing about sex and the MV is about sex, a whole lot of it, with a whole lot of it going around him, and not all of it is straight? You know, just like Troye Sivan's MVs. That would be a very interesting what if. Can't wait to hear their answer to that one.

Oh, and here's the kicker what if.

What if it's none of the above?

What if all of this is a load of bull rumours and Sohee has nothing to do with the MV (she was in LA for a fashion event), and there is no sexual content in the MV, and it's all about the listener using their own imagination? What if?

I guess we will ALL just have to wait and see.

I will tell you this though. Whatever Koo does, I trust him. Y/ns will always assume what they want to. I don't believe that he will intentionally play into it. This man is not straight. Period. He is a smart young man, who has been telling us for years now who he is as a person, and he will not backtrack on that just to fulfill the y/ns dreams about him because that's what the company might want. So whatever he does might get their juices running (let's be honest, not might, more like will), but it will be done in a way that allows for interpretation. This is of course an opinion and nothing more, but hopefully one that will prove itself right.

It's worth noting that there are some extraordinary people in the world who have been quietly doing the work for decades, and they should be celebrated with all the fervor that we denounce the villains. I first read about Harrison twenty-odd years ago, when he'd already been doing this for about fifty years, and this is one of those guys whose life can, indeed, be summed up by his headline.

James Harrison saved millions of lives. Millions. Not with anything flashy or dramatic, not with profound speeches or brilliant strategy or any of the things we insist are the ways to impact the world.
