also i never poster about this- but i had another forgettable dream. it didn’t make any godamn sense. I woke up and drew the only scene I could remember:

Wingdings and Sans had a fight and ig wingdings killed Sans 😭😭😭 in a stairwell for some reason

and current Sans, Papyrus brother Sans, is like watching all of this and was brought here by Lancer like a Ghost Of Christmas Past type situation. Idk why. I choose not to attempt to make sense of this anymore. But i swear this is an actual dream i had 😭

Imagine Mydei scowling after returning from a campaign, ignoring everything and everyone as he finds out where you are. Whether that’s by texting, asking others, or both, he makes sure you’re the first person - his favourite person - he sees. When he does find you, he pushes you against the wall, a subtle sigh making its way past his lips before kissing you silly. The kind of kiss that makes your knees weak. When he breaks apart from the kiss because of that damned air the two of you need to breathe, he wraps his arms around your waist and nuzzles his face in your shoulder. No words needed.

He really, really missed you.

Before his departure, you gave him a ribbon. A simple ribbon made of silk. A memory, a reminder, something that’s yours to keep him company once he leaves the safe borders of the Holy City and steps into the dangerous land shrouded in black mists. Cliche, you were aware of that — and so was he, giving you a pitiful but sweet look to reassure you that there’s no need for such gestures as he’d always return to you, no matter what.

That much was true. And he’s back. No less alive than before, no less warm, no less powerful. Between desperate kisses and cuddles, he puts a clump of torn threads onto your open palm. No longer a ribbon, not even of the same colour — now of dark crimson, stained from what most likely was blood. Seeing its roughened state, you barely recognise it. You cannot even find the strength to ask how many times he died on that mission. It feels bittersweet to think about that while he’s glaring at you with a proud and excited glint in his golden eyes.

“I did everything just to get this piece back.” His voice is low, still raw from the battles. “For you. To honour our deal, which I didn’t break… despite these uninvited circumstances. Now, please…”

The sudden pleading tone makes you freeze, mouth slightly open in astonishment. Mydei seems uncomfortable after seeing your reaction; he fumbles with his fists, reaching towards you as if to stroke your face before retreating. Your hand instinctively reaches forward, entwining fingers with his as he finally places them upon your cheek. His body heat seeps into your skin and spreads across your nerves, calming your anxious mind.

You really, really missed him.

“…I need just as much of your care as that ribbon,” he continues, forcing himself to sound stern and not desperate. In that, he fails.

“Shh…” You gently press his head onto your shoulder once again. There are no words needed, anyway.
