Silver woke up, body swaddled in a warm blanket and head sore. He felt like he had pulled a long night of studying. Faintly he heard the sound of Malleus Lilia humming, scents coming to his room from the kitchen of their do- cottage.

I need to wake up. I need to get up, he thought. But all Silver could do was shut his eyes, and drift off back to the sound of his lullaby.

Silver wakes up, body swaddled in a warm blanket and his head sore. His head was resting on a soft pillow, feeling like he had been bucked off his horse. Faintly, he heard the sound of Malleus his father humming, scents coming to his room from the kitchen.

‘I need to wake up. I need to…’ Silver lost his train of thought as a yawn interrupted him, and when he tried to think about what his thoughts were, it was gone. His eyes felt heavy. And Silver allowed them to slide shut.

Silver wakes up, body swaddled in a warm blanket, and his head sore. The sunlight blocked by curtains, shielding his eyes from the rays. His body felt like he had a long spar with Sebek. Faintly, he heard the sound of his father humming, scents coming to his room from the kitchen.

‘I need to…’ Silver frowned faintly at his thoughts escaping him. Needed to… hm. He couldn’t grasp it but something felt… off. His fathers song resounded again and Silver yawned, nestling into the warmth of his pillow. His eyes closed before he could try to grasp his thoughts again.

Silver woke up, his body swaddled in a warm blanket, his body feeling well rested and warm. His head felt light and clear and Silver yawned, perking up at the sound of his Father humming from the kitchen. His Father seemed relatively chipper, of course his Father usually was, the old retired General adored his said retirement, claiming it gave him more time to travel along with Silver and cook some… spectacular things for their guests.

Silver winced and sent a silent apology to Lord Malleus and Sebek, hopefully they wouldn’t be too scared to try some of Fathers creations. Sliding out of the warm comforts of bed, Silver braced for the eventful day he was bound to have.

In the silence of Diasomnia, surrounded by thick briar vines, which thorns seemingly shined against the green glow of the fire provided by the dorms, Malleus allowed himself to exhale slowly, a pleased smile growing on his face. It took a dozen or more so times, but as his biosphere magic expanded, he was able to gain more control over his magic, which meant more magic to properly force the seemingly undaunted knight.

Silver’s unique magic was one of the biggest headaches he’s ever had to deal with. Silver’s refusal of his gift was disheartening, especially after the boy poured out his heart to him. He’d thought Silver would be more accepting but he was not only faced with refusal but also the revelation that his unique magic worked against him. But all it took was simply making him forget their encounters and sending him back to his dream space, surrounded by familiarity and warmth. And he was pleased with the fall. Still… the little Shroud was someone he needed to deal with, sooner than later. A shame the young one was resistant to his magic. Ah well. Perhaps he could… project his brothers dream to him, allow him to see what he would ruin.

He glanced to his side, his smile warming at seeing his family sleeping soundly on the edges of his coat, and he knelt down to their forms, admiring their peaceful faces.

He would deal with little Shroud later. For now… he would be content to watch his favorite subjects sleep.

Damien is only half aware of crossing the threshold into Rilla's bedroom, mostly because she kisses him every step, tongue and teeth teasing as she draws him backward with her hands curled around the small of his back.

He isn't aware of her turning him at any point, but somehow they come to a position where she shoves him, and the backs of his knees fold when they hit the edge of the bed, depositing him onto his back, staring up at her. She gazes down at him with a look that matches the fire coiling in his own stomach, a slow heat like she will surely take precisely what she wants from him.

(He shouldn't be able to see the same exact hunger in eyes of black as he does in eyes of unnatural violet, should he?)

She crawls after him onto the bed, cupping the back of his head in one palm as she kisses his throat, her other hand pressing to his chest, then sliding up to grip the edge of his shirt.

I would like to draw a lot more :D I think it's a lot of fun to look at historical eras and try to make parallels and connections!(either through my OCs or my F1 boys) But god, when I look at old paintings for ref, the level of detail in the clothing is a bit scary... but I still think it's very interesting to do research into it and design it :)

Bit of historical rambling:

I said in the tags that this AU could really only be Vettonso, and I will explain why. I mean obviously at first, I was only comparing that statue to Seb because uhhhh he looks like Seb!!! But I researched a bit more into that era and guess what's happening at this point: The Spanish War of Succession. Which was when the Spanish Throne was up for grabs, and the two main candidates were a Spanish Duke and an Austrian heir to the Holy Roman Empire. See where I'm going with this?

But the Spanish Duke ends up getting the throne, rightfully, but the Austrian ends up becoming the Holy Roman Emperor even though he wasn't first in line, so who really won in the end!

Lmao I think this AU would end up being: well, guess how we can reunite the Austrian and Spanish bloodlines again....arranged marriage plot!! Canon Divergence in both the matters of them being replaced with Vettonso and also with the war not happening

God help me, I read way too much about the Habsburgs, I blame my trip to Austria 🤧 My German prof, who is from there, always seems kinda proud of the history so I wonder what he'd think if he knew I was looking into it this much....and bastardizing it

Sat down to write more Ghosts of Gotham adn Business of Family.

Have instead written an opening bit of an AU where Tim accidentally summoned a slightly eldritch Mirrorborn (clone) Queen/Ancient of the Ever Onward (Speedforce) Elle with his whole "try to clone my two dead best friends hundreds of times" thing.

...it's slowly morphing into Tim accidentally/on purpose becoming a warlock with Elle as his equal parts delighted and confused Patron to get his loved ones back. He might unintentionally start a cult (it might be intentional I don't know how unhinged this is gonna get)

Send help, I've started world building again 😭
