Conan’s set at lollapalooza is on yt and im not sure if I want to watch it lol. I haven’t been watching too many clips from concerts because I want to get hype for when I see him live but it’s only August and that’s not until October! 😭

I will probably download it and then watch it after the concert so I can relive it or something lol.

LOST: Season One

#lost #abc lost #lost one cap per ep #this was a project i was gonna do anyways but the timing worked out that i could post the first one on the 20th anniversary!#this is one cap per ep every season. from left to right. and this is important: its not a cap that sums up each ep #its a cap that REPRESENTS each ep. the way i choose them varies every episode #sometimes its an utterly iconic moment. sometimes it reps the theme of the ep. or it hits with a theme of the character themselves #sometimes the cap i use won't even involve the character whose centric episode it is. trust me. this makes sense #anyways i'll give a good example: for outlaws i was so tempted to use a shot of the judgemental soulful gaze of the boar #or perhaps sawyer in the rain after he shot that man #but! i used that shot of sawyer's dads legs as sawyer is hiding under the bed. i feel it worthy because this moment. this scene #is literally a core part of sawyer. it's a defining moment of his backstory. of his character. so yeah. makes sense yeah?#anyways some eps had Too Much going on (lord i could make one of these for exodus part 1 alone) and some not enough #or well they DID but like lacked in caps that Hit in the way im thinking. thank heavens charlie shot ethan cuz i was worried about that ep #i was like ''aw shit what am i gonna use'' and then an iconic lost moment happened kjhfdsjkhfd #anyways. there are 25 eps in season one. so im really glad that the last ep contains one of the moment iconic visuals/moments in all of los #oh i should add that these caps are unedited. i did not fuck with the colours or saturation in any way #i found 'em and i pieced them together. this is harder than it sounds. i browsed through all the screencaps of every ep of season one #and i will do so the remaining five seasons #some of these were super easy like i knew what cap i'd be using before i even started (eg. do no harm. the moth. in translation)#but some took some real Thinking. and some eps even had several caps that would have worked. this has all been quite interesting #also yeah. y'all already know damn well what cap i'm using for the very last episode

#you don't understand how good it feels to find all these pro sam/sam defender posts now #bc back when i watched the show--i would do a quick search of each episode on like twitter and tumblr #and 95% of the content WOULDN'T be about sam #bc at that point--all the posts that came out As the show was being aired weren't at the top of searches anymore #and i was so frustrated bc i was like does no one care about sam??#but no--many people do actually--the posts are just older and harder to find through a general search #but if you go to sam specific blogs and go through their archive--all the pro sam/defender sam posts pop up #and it's like JC I'VE FOUND HEAVEN BROTHERRR #like YES you GET IT #you get how unfairly the fandom and the show treats sam!!

Started watching the Bayverse movies with my besties and... Are we just too gay for these movies??? Admittedly we only finished the first two and got through a quarter of the third, but the second one was such a drag to sit through at times and it probably doesn't help that we do NOT care about Sam that much. I hope that there is a character arc for him in the rest of the third movie. Because so far he has not been fun to watch in that one. He just comes off as a slight manchild to me, like... I can see why he would be frustrated with where he is in life but the way he acts with others and lashes out does not help him in the slightest. I do have to admit though that seeing him go to Cybertronian Heaven in the second movie was the funniest part for me and my besties lol.

I'll just hope that the other guy in the next movies will be at least a bit more interesting. Doesn't even have to be a good guy, just an interesting guy for me lol

Him going to cybertronian heaven lol. All these soldiers also gave their lives to protect Optimus where do they go? Lmao #I feel like Mikaela would've been a better protagonist but considering that it was the 2000s and she was a girl in a “”boy franchise“”-#fat fucking chance man ToT #The way she was driving in reverse while having Bumblebee in the back shoot at Decepticons was som genuinely cool shit ngl #And she only got the car bc she knew how to unlock and jumpstart it!!! I'm trying to find songs for a Logis playlist and I am realizing I have made him a very counter-cultural character, because I can hardly find any recent or popular songs that hold to his themes...

Logis is searching for truth and through that discovers love, meaning, and beauty. Logis was made with a purpose that is good, and him trying following it is worth it even when he realizes he's flawed and can't do it perfectly. Logis gains the knowledge of right and wrong, and the free will to choose right and wrong, at the same time. Logis' meaning and value come from the very real and cosmically terrifying truth that exists outside of himself that he cannot control.

...but most songs are about how your meaning is for you to decide, your flaws are what make you unique/special/beautiful, deviating from design and purpose is superior to following your purpose, and love is some vibe-y feeling that you can't understand or even experience through reason.
