finally watched Lingering Echoes, because i missed it's 1st run and rerun. and man. Ebenholz' backstory is long. and that's not a complaint, because i like it, just a fact. Arknights is already putting the 'novel' in 'visual novel', and Ebenholz alone could crush it in his own standalone fantasy series.

Event Rewards

An event store will be open until November 21 that contains Scene and Siege's Rewilder skin, plus other rewards. Plus, clearing stages will give you access to the free operator Civilight Eterna.

During the event, for every certain amount of Sanity spent on Main Theme or Resource Collection stages, players will obtain Emergency Sanity Samplers and Rhodes Island Supplies VII. As well, failing to clear stages in Absolved Will Be the Seekers will refund all Sanity consumed.

Upon clearing Main Story 14-21 with their own Amiya at Elite 2 in the squad, and Main Story 14-22 with their own Amiya (default form), players will unlock Amiya's Incantation Medic form.

New Operators

In this [Limited Headhunting], players will get the limited Operator Wiš'adel after a total of 300 rolls (once only). This special 6-star Operator is a bonus gift that does not give [Headhunting Data Contracts], and does not affect the chance to get next 6-star Operator in this [Limited Headhunting]. This count is reset at the end of this [Limited Headhunting].

Past limited Celebration-theme operators will be available to purchase using Headhunting Data Contracts. All operators except for W are 300 contracts, while W is 200.

Kind of a follow-up to this post, one that I'm very reluctant to make, but here it goes

Skipping to the end to get the worst out of the way, I went all the way to 300 pulls without pulling a single Viviana. Like, I see a lot of people here and in other places where they kept getting Viviana but not Virtuosa...man, I wish I was one of them rn. And sure, she might not be meta-defining, but idgaf about that! You think I pulled Typhon because she's one of the best boss-killers in the game? No, I pulled her because she has purple hair and I freaking love purple hair! Her meta status, while nice, was not a factor in me pulling her at all!

Oh, but I'm rambling. I should go over what else happened.

So I got Ebenholz, which, uh, is surprisingly fitting for the current event. Am I gonna build him? Probably not. While I'm not the braindead sort of person to call him "The worst 6* in the game" or anywhere close to that, I'm also not really the sort of person to prioritize dudes in this game unless they're meta (hello Mlynar and Mountain) or if they're particularly appealing to me (hello Mizuki(wow that's a lot of 'm' names)) or they just let me be lazy (hello Thorns).

Anyways, another new operator I got, was, uh, Reed Alter. I was going to get her with the selector ticket, but she decided she didn't want to wait for me to finish my rolls. Though...I kinda bought the selector already, so who did I decide to get with it since I already got Reed Alter (and Dorothy who I was initially going to get, but got on her rerun banner)?

Yeah, I got Suzuran. I got her kinda immediately after Reed since, well, there was really no one else in the standard pool that I was interested in, and I was really feeling the pain of not having her in the last couple of events (especially DOS, sheesh). Honestly, I probably jumped the gun a bit by buying the selector already since I doubt I would've bought it if Suzuran was who I wanted the most, since, uh, I kinda don't like the cult-like following she has in the fandom. I will say though, one of my friends have called her "Scrunglo" because that was the first thing to pop to mind when they saw her, so now I'm gonna call her that as well XD

arknights pretty insane sometimes i got five 6-stars within a week and only spent a little bit money.

i bought originite prime to hit pity for fedex banner (+ czerny skin was coming up) and got fedex.

rerun gave me more orundum, rolled dorothorns banner, got passenger dupe, rolled kernel banner, got magallan dupe, rolled lingering echoes banner, got ebenholz dupe, got top op on recruitment, got hellagur. very pog couple of days.

i'm really excited for the lingering echoes rerun bc that was the first event i was around for and i was not leveled enough to get all the story unlocked so i'm really excited to take my maxed out ebenholz out this time and cause problems

think my oomfs are tired of me talking about arknights on twitter but i need to air my grievances out so fucking badly

like im not disappointed but im extremely worried about the state of base arknights right now because it seems like the writing and higher gameplay are going downhill at a rocket speed; cns already criticized CC enough but the 4.5 anni event specifically felt like the break in the camels back for me because the writing seems so fucking messy because they have to find an excuse for how viviana/arturia are connected/playable but also make ebenholz, and by extension lingering echoes as a whole, essentially irrelevant and just wrap his problems up to "oh youre schizophrenic actually"; all of this while making "shitty male guard 6* op who you cant get yellow certs from on the rerun" 2.0 also as if male guards arent fucking inflated to hell and back

this makes me concerned for the upcoming writing but especially the kjerag event because it already seems like theyre contradicting facts that were established during maria nearl (SA meeting DB in kazimierz) unless they changed that for the manga for some reason or its a different point in the timeline. as much as i want leto for the kjerag event im even more sick of them reaching to find shitty excuses to make npcs playable even more than alts because the former can basically assassinate their own general writing, whereas alts at least build upon the characters own writing (egg alt, eyja alt; the only exception this year at least is swire imo)
