More Graves x dog hybrid!reader thoughts
This definitely activated some new part of my brain
Cw: Gender Neutral reader, hybrid unspecified aside from dog, inequal/ toxic relationships

Graves who at first doesn't even consider a hybrid. His men work just fine and are loyal, why spend so much time recruiting one more soldier?
He only gets you because a favor is due, and some investor has shady contacts. The man swears up and down that you are more than just a regular soldier when he hands you over; the perfect, obedient death machine.
At first, Graves isn't convinced at all, just thinks it's bit silly when the courier gets you from a large crate in the trunk, instead of the backseat. The muzzle and leash seem over the top and as soon as he's handed your papers, Graves takes them off.
He eyes you with amusement, clearly lost and not sure where to put your hands. He takes notes of your shaggy hair and worn clothes and guides you through base to pick up new fatigues. Only when you try to put them on, but fail miserably, because without a small hole for your tail, they sit way too low, does he Strat to realize maybe he underestimated the difference between human and hybrid needs.
So, Graves makes sure you have some shirts at least. A waterproof jacket, a fleece and something comfortable for off the field. You barely manage not to hit him with your steadily wagging tail, accidentally nuzzling his shoulder in excitement, apologizing profusely just after thanking him.
After that, he lets you get settled. You share a room with two other young Privates, two humans. They approach Graves quickly, because no matter how nice they try to be, you seem afraid, sleep curled in a corner and tear out your own hair from nervousness.
You get your own room after that and, after tenderly talking to you for an hour at least, you allow an older, quieter Shadow from medical to fix your shaggy hair cut. You never even realized how bothersome your hair was before that.
But still, the issues don't fix themselves. During training it's all well. You follow orders to a T, never talk back, always treat other's respectfully. But on the field, when no one personally guides you, you get lost, mess up, stop functioning. The longer it goes on, the worse your stress gets. After a few months and the third chewed up pair of expensive combat boots and utility belts, Graves pulls you aside.
He reads up on hybrids almost daily, asks dog handlers for advice, after those of hybrid handlers didn't work out at all for you. His presence is steady, but not possessive. Stern, but not unkind.
Quickly you feel yourself lean into his guidance, until you ask him if he wants your collar back. You feel obliged to obey him, he's your master now, you hesitantly explain to him one night. And surprisingly, from how much he disliked your animalistic treatment when he got you, he agrees.
It's not one of those scratchy ones from the pet store, but all soft padding and strong fabric. A little like your vest and utility belt. Made for the field, yet still super comfortable. You love it, trying to never take it off. It smells like his hands, because whenever you do well he rubs your neck, tracing the edge of the collar lovingly. There's a small space for velcro patches and you proudly carry the company insignia and the callsign he chose for you. Graves has to wrestle you every now and then so he you take it off for washing.
The two of you only get closer after that. It's almost impossible for you to function on your own, having never learned etiquette and how to handle your own thoughts, how to relive stress or any other strong feelings. So he handles it for you, lets you work it out of yourself or lovingly pets you until you finally let your tense muscles relax.
You can't sleep without his warmth and scent, migrating to the floor next to his bed, or cot, most nights. It gets to a point where he just calls you in when he gets settled or thinks you need a rest, so you won't bother him later on and stick to a healthier schedule. It's only natural you take place by his legs, tangled in a fleece blanket and stolen towels to smell like your handler and team. They even get you a stuffed animal that you love dearly, so you won't feel alone.
Quickly, no one is bothered by you bouncing after Graves with attentive ears and a wagging tail, or you sitting by his feet during briefings and meals. Most of the Shadows have won your trust by now, majorly because if Graves trusts them, so why shouldn't you? Nobody dares to voice that your entire behavior isn't normal or healthy, instead opting to appreciate your boundless loyalty and dedicated nature.
Even the border collie hybrid of 141, Soap, can't make up your mind, instead raising your defenses and separating the Shadows and 141, as well as Vaqueros, further. It's clear that you only listen to them, and they rely on your instincts to make decisions.
You've never been happier and they have never been more efficient. Graves sees it as a total win. He feels more relaxed and happy, so do his soldiers and on top of that, he gained a powerful asset. With the work he put in before, there truly is no downside to having you.

do the toys in toy story continue to have consciousness when humans are around and they are physically inanimate?
#question of the day#i know they're not physically moving#but do their brains still actively function??#are they aware of what's happening around them?#or is it like they go comatose and come back to life when humans are gone with no recollection of what happened?#toy story

Anxiety is stupid.
Just putting that out there.
My brain is stupid and silly for this.
#like honestly high functioning my ass#at least lately#I mean I’m technically functioning fine — my routine is in tact and I’m still able to do everything#but the brain is definitely hyper active with it lately#everything is doom#I hate it here#here being my brain#also the fact that GAD is genetic and also caused by trauma — I was doomed from birth 🥲

“Umremarkable.” Thank god.
#and in my 1AM research spiral last night i found that no cysts by age 30#means it is almost completely certain i do not have it#‘almost’ of course so the worry will likely live in a corner of my mind until i’m 40#technically mom was diagnosed at 35 so i’ve still got a year before i have a 1-to-1 comparison#and even then it could be slower progression (see: i’ve never smoked/never pregnant/significantly more physically active)#but for now my kidneys are ‘unremarkable’#imaging-wise at least because function-wise they apparently still act like they’re 20#you’d think that knowledge alone would have put me at ease weeks ago#but you see my brain is very unwell and likes to freak out about anything and everything#and is also very good at finding actual scientific literature that says function doesn’t say a whole lot until years down the line

#yet again i fail to convince my counselor i have executive function problems. mostly its bc i dont think well in the moment but also i just#feel kinda weird rn so i was having trouble making my thoughts connect. but i swear to christ i do have problems making my executives#function. i think the issue is im a grad student so i do well in school. not that it matters bc i kno loads of grad students with pretty#god awful adhd. one of my former lab mates was like. Adderall barely made her normal. and yet she was still a phd student#so like. its possible to have executive function issues as a grad student. the problem with me is the obsessive thoughts and self#destructive behavior so to her it sounds like im telling myself that i cant get my brain to work unless i put myself under extreme pressure#rather than i cant get my brain to work so to cope im putting myself under extreme pressure bc if i dont nothing gets done#but like fucking if i try to relax i dont do things. i cant clean my kitchen or my room or take out the trash or do my laundry#and im not like not doing it bc i dont wanna. these things r causing me active distress but i cant flip the switch that makes them happen#ive gotta write a grant proposal. read a paper. and find a paper to discuss by tomorrow morning. i had time to do all of this before but i#didnt do it. y didnt i do it? fucking i dont kno. ugh. whatever. i got refered to a psychiatrist so well see what happens there#i did accidentally set the meeting to when i meet with my advisor tho. oops. also my counselor said it sounds like im a rat running on a#wheel. which is accurate but also a really fucking funny thing to have said abt u. ur r a scrawny neglected lil rat. boohoo.#idk what type of medication she thinks i should b on. like what symptom r we trying to exhaust? the 0cd or the mood issues?#i dont even kno what the issue is. not that i guess it matters. idk. i need to read and write. fucking hell#unrelated

satoru absolutely baby talks you when you’re sick.
not in a mocking way. no. this is full-blown softie satoru, disgusting levels of wife guy activated, baby voice on max, coddling you like you’re the most precious, fragile little thing in the universe—and not because he thinks you’re weak, but because it’s the one time you let him get away with it without putting up your usual walls.
because you’re sick. hot forehead, flushed cheeks, big watery eyes that blink up at him like you’re seeing god—or worse, like you might actually cry if he leaves the room. like you need him. and honestly? that does something to him. wrecks him, even.
and you do need him. you’re fevered, shivering, curled up in bed in one of his oversized shirts, your hair a mess, nose stuffy, brain thoroughly fried. your fingers twitch like you want to reach for him but can’t be bothered to try, lips parted in a weak sigh as you breathe through your mouth. your usual bratty, mouthy, too-proud-for-help self? gone. obliterated. absolutely bulldozed by the flu. all that’s left is a miserable little lump of a wife who clings to his sleeve like a koala and mumbles, “’toru… i feel like a soggy towel…”
his whole body stills. there’s a twitch in his brow, like his heart has physically clenched. his lips part, just a little, before curling up in the softest grin. eyes soften behind pale lashes—just a hint of red at the corners from how tired he is too—but none of that matters. not when you’re looking up at him like that. the corner of his mouth tugs upward, not in amusement—but in something far gentler. reverent, even. and then god. he melts. instantly. his heart shatters into a million pieces and reforms just to explode again.
“awww, my poor widdle baby,” he coos, already pressing a kiss to your damp forehead. his breath is warm, his nose brushing yours. “does my soggy towel need her soup? wanna be spoon-fed by the hottest nurse in the world?”
you don’t even roll your eyes. you nod. actually nod. sluggish, dazed. and then flop into his arms like dead weight, forehead nudging his neck, skin hot against his collarbone. you let him hold you like you’re made of glass.
he almost cries. really. because you’re letting yourself be coddled. cuddled. taken care of. no sass. no biting remarks. just tiny, pitiful sniffles and pouty faces and your arms wrapping around his waist like he’s your anchor. like you don’t want him to go anywhere. like you can’t function without him.
and satoru eats that up like it’s a feast.
“you want juice, angel? how about some water? apple slices? forehead kisses every ten minutes? medicine with a kiss as a chaser?”
“mmm… apple. but peeled…” you whisper, voice small and hoarse, eyes half-lidded and glossy.
“of course, peeled! only the finest fruits for my fevered little dumpling,” he gasps, hand dramatically on his chest like he’s been knighted for a sacred quest. there’s a shine in his eyes—something starry, something stupidly in love.
he tucks you in like a burrito, tugs the blankets up to your chin, and then scoops you onto his lap because apparently that’s where you sleep best. his fingers comb through your hair, slow and tender, while your cheek rests limp against his shirt. he puts on your comfort show, even though you barely keep your eyes open long enough to register the sound.
he hums something soft—tuneless and low—while cradling you like a fevered woodland creature. his tone dips lower when he leans in again.
“do you still love me even if i’m gross and sweaty and my nose is red?” you mumble, lips wobbling, brows pinched like the thought genuinely upsets you.
his hand smooths along your cheek. “i love you way more,” he says instantly. “you’re my sweaty, sniffly soulmate. cutest germ gremlin i’ve ever seen.”
“you’re lying…”
“baby, i would kiss your snotty nose right now if you asked.”
there’s something almost reverent in the way he says it—like it’s a vow. and he means it. he’d do it without hesitation, wouldn’t even flinch. because if it’s you, there’s no such thing as gross. not when he’s this stupidly in love. not when every part of you, even at your messiest, makes him want to wrap you up in his arms and never let go.
you groan into his shirt, muffled and pitiful, and he grins like you just serenaded him.
“who’s the most handsome man in the world?” he asks out of nowhere, fingers curling behind your ear, brushing tenderly as if coaxing the answer out. his voice dips low, honey-sweet and just a little smug. not because he expects the answer—no, he needs it. his entire self-worth depends on your silly little validation right now.
“you are,” you mumble, cheeks squished slightly against his chest, nuzzling closer without shame.
his fingers twitch where they cradle your skull. his whole face lights up like a sunrise. pale lashes flutter, and his pupils dilate like he’s just been told he won a lifetime supply of you.
“louder.”
“toruuuuu… it’s you…”
the pleased little noise he makes is downright sinful. his lashes flutter shut as he closes his eyes in smug bliss, and he tilts his head back like he’s soaking in the warmth of your praise. if he had a tail, it would be wagging.
“that’s right,” he beams, practically preening, fingers now stroking under your chin. “say it again. for my health.”
“you’re the handsomest… in the whole world… even when your hair’s stupid…”
he gasps, clutching his chest with a hand like you just shot cupid’s arrow straight through it. “rude and true. i’ll take it.”
his heart is doing somersaults. he’s convinced there’s never been a more fulfilling moment in his life. not the promotions, not the accolades, not even the recognition. just this—this feverish little version of you, croaky and honest and too tired to pretend you’re not as in love with him as he is with you.
he whispers the dumbest, softest shit while holding you against his chest like you’re something sacred. calls you every pet name in the book and then invents new ones on the spot: baby, sweetheart, princess, dumpling, snugglebug, fever bean, coughy cake, angel face mcsweats-a-lot.
you blink up at him between fits of sleep, lips parted like you want to say something else—but all that comes out is a pathetic little whimper. his hand smooths over your spine again, touch featherlight.
“what was that, baby?” he whispers.
“love you…” you murmur, eyes falling shut.
his heart flips. flips, spirals, and lands in a fucking somersault.
he kisses your temple and you go quiet.
and when you finally pass out, nose smooshed into his collarbone, snoring faintly like the most adorable little gremlin, he exhales like it’s the best moment of his life. like the universe aligned just for this. like his purpose has been fulfilled. his hand never stops moving—stroking your spine, combing your hair, tracing shapes into your shoulder blade beneath the fabric of his shirt.
he lives for clingy, soft, unguarded sick-you. because even though he adores the bratty, sharp-tongued, little menace version of you that picks fights and flicks him on the forehead and makes him earn every kiss—this version? this sleepy, dependent little furnace wrapped in blankets and his love? she needs him.
and satoru loves being needed. loves being the one you reach for, even when you’re half-delirious. especially when you’re half-delirious.
he leans down again, voice barely audible now.
“rest up, baby,” he whispers, brushing your hair from your clammy forehead. “you’ll feel better soon. and then i’ll go back to being emotionally bullied by my beloved wife.”

We all know about most of these by now, but I thought it'd be fun to make a comprehensive list of all the things of varying degrees of insanity both Jayce and Viktor have done in the series to, for and because of each other: 1. Viktor looking at Jayce in the most intense but also thoroughly enchanted way in the council room scene

2. Viktor stealing Jayces notebook from Heimerdinger after Jayces research was officially deemed "dangerous" by the council
3. Saving Jayce from suicide and instilling new hope, along with a sense of adventure in him manic-pixie-dream-girl-style.
4. Jayce asking for Viktors name in the most romantic way possible and Viktor answering him with 2 syllables and bedroom eyes
5. Jayce-I-egotistically-sign-all-my-notes-with-my-name-Talis going instant commie mode by calling his life long dream "our" dream after Viktor scribbled something on a blackboard and cracked a silly little joke once.
6. Casually snacking on pickles, bread, wine and coffee as if they weren't committing crimes and there wasn't a huge hole in the wall while nerding out about magic
7. Breaking into Heimerdingers lab together
8. Viktor using taking Jayce to his bedroom as an excuse when getting caught, and Jayce being too stressed out to notice
9. Viktor then having the audacity to look disappointed in the background when Mr. Oblivious reacts to Mel the way every single person with functioning eyes would react to that goddess of a woman
10. Both trusting each other enough to risk exile after knowing each other for like a day.
11. Jayce, although having just experienced the same crystals blowing up a building, going through with the dangerous experiment simply because Viktor says "trust me".
12. Viktor sacrificing his cane, which is basically an extension of his body, to keep the door shut 13. Jaye carrying him bridal style because of that afterwards.
13. Experiencing what they'd both probably rank among their top 3 moments in life when floating in the magic they just created together
14. Viktor smiling the only full on smile we see him do in the show because of that.
15. Jayce drawing a portrait of Viktor in his notebook, next to a little doodle of two brains with lightning between them and a reminder to ask him for his last name.
16. Working alongside each other as best friends for 7 years and creating world altering technology
17. Viktor yearning for Jayce each day, for each of those 7 years ("Viktor wanted things Jayce couldn't give him at the time")
18. Whatever the fuck happened at the distinguished innovators competition that was probably also among their top 3 moments because of the way Viktor looked when Jayce brought it up and the fact Jayce used it to remind Viktor of things that make life worth living
19. Jayce constantly touching Viktor. In almost every scene. Whenever he can.
20. Them giving each other the same dumb heart eyes but always when the other is not looking 21. Viktor looking at Jayces lips in the scene before he gives his speech
22. The way they say each others name. It gets progressively more breathy as the show goes on.
23. The way their pupils dilate in several scenes when looking at each other
24. The butterfly symbolism connecting them throughout both Seasons
25. (Debatable, but I will include it) Jayce having a bi-crisis when Ambessas twink reminds him of a certain someone

26. Jayce asking "You had a vision?" as if it is the most normal thing ever. (Thank you Jayce. We love a husband, who unabashedly supports his witchy partner, plagued by visions and omens.)
27. Jayce having his sex scene with Mel be intercut with scenes of Viktor (not something they actively did, but still has to be mentioned)
28. Jayce leaving Mel to be by Viktors bedside when he wakes up in the hospital 29. Jayces hands visibly shaking in the top-shot of him beside Viktors hospital bed. (someone posted a close up of it on insta - I linked it in the convo with the person suggesting this bullet point in the comments)
30. Viktor being the only one shown to notice how stressed Jayce is about getting pushed into being a councilor via the deep exhale he does in that scene
31. Jayce not letting Heimerdinger interfere with the experiments that might save Viktors life, no matter how dangerous
32. Jayce removing Heimerdinger from the council because of it
33. Viktor immediately thinking of Jayce when Singed mentions the word "love"
34. Viktor instinctively knowing Jayce will reach out his hand to help him up without having to look during the bridge scene
35. Viktor slapping his hand away, but then accepting when Jayce puts it on his lower back a second later
36. Jayce stopping Viktor from taking his own life
37. Jayce granting Zaun independence because he doesn't know how to save Viktors life but he has to do something to honor their shared dream
38. Jayce seeing the council room completely destroyed, with several people hurt and dead, but only tearing up when he sees Viktor

39. Jayce running several blocks while carrying Viktor to their lab
40. Breaking his promise to Viktor (and probably several laws) by performing necromancy on him
41. Jayce saying "fuck the council" and everything he has worked for, when he realizes none of that matters without Viktor
42. Jayce staying holed up in the lab for god knows how long to watch over Viktor 43. Jayce adding unnecessary details to his sketch of Viktors body, like the exact swoop of his hair.

44. Jayce immediately waking up after Viktor quietly says his name, whereas we saw him sleeping through an air alarm before that.
45. Viktor looking...very different, but all Jayce cares about is that he is alive. 46. Jayce, glancing between Viktor’s legs in his changed form an ungodly number of times.
47. Them embracing very closely while Viktor is nude, ending with Jayce looking slightly embarrassed when the emotions are threatening to overwhelm him
48. Jayce covering Viktor in the blanket from his childhood bedroom which Viktor will keep even after reaching godhood.
49. "My place was always here with you."
50. "It was affection that held us together"
51. Jayce getting glassy eyed when Viktor tells him he is leaving and holding out his hand as if he is expecting him to come back and grab it.
52. Jayce looking heartbroken at Heimerdingers reminder of him having broken into the lab before
53. Jayce generally giving off freshly divorced vibes in that whole scene

54. Jayce longingly looking at the remains of two male figures embracing in the AU while sitting in the rain

55. Jayce hallucinating Mel turning into Viktor in the fire at the bottom of the ravine.
56. Jayce basically walking a mile in Viktors shoes, fighting his way from the depths of the Undercity to the top of piltover with a broken leg. 57. Matching leg braces on opposite legs.
58. Viktor walking a mile in Jayces shoes by becoming a leader in S2 and his body finally being strong, while Jayces gets broken in the Au.
59. Viktor designing the sphere in the commune similar to the top of the Hexgates he built with Jayce
60. Viktor finally realizing through Singeds memories, that he wasn't kept alive by Jayce as an experiment, but out of love
61. Jayce tenderly stroking the hexcrystal on his bracelet
62. Viktor tenderly stroking the gear that reminds him of the night him and Jayce became partners.
63. Jayce looking at mage!Viktor in the exact same awestruck way he did when he was a child - even after about 6 months of pain and suffering
64. Jayce being ready to sacrifice himself after mage!Viktor reveals the truth to him
65. AU Jayces corpse responding to Viktors touch 66. The fact that the only "beautiful" place left in Piltover was where Jayces corpse was
67. Jayce dramatically adding "...and with me" after saying to Viktor how he thought he was done with hextech, like the bitter divorced husband he is.
68. Viktor excitedly inviting Jayce to the commune, believing he finally knows how Jayce really feels about him
69. Viktor waiting for Jayce floating in the air like a venus fly trap, with his upper body bare, while holding the gear in his hands
70. Viktors eyes changing color when he sees Jayce, because as confirmed by the writers, when he looks at Jayce he’s reminded of his humanity and is tied to it once again </3
71. Jayce visually having to fight himself to be able to shoot Viktor and not being able to look while doing it
72. Viktor never taking his eyes off of Jayce after being shot by him

73. Jayce leaving without as much as a glance back while looking absolutely destroyed
74. Jayce now dressing in dark colors - both Zaunite and mourning coded
75. Jayces clothes being asymmetrical in the final scene - Zaun style
76. The most homoerotic fight in history.
77. Viktor giving bedroom eyes #2
78. Viktor choking Jayce (twice)
79. "Let's do this once again as partners." (Viktor didn't speak when he said this. He purred.) 80. Viktors robot "crying" after being rejected by Jayce once more (shortly followed by "the line" starting to play </3)

81. Jayce lovingly caressing the gold poured into the broken council room table as if it was the golden lines in Viktors new skin. 82. Jayce having a dead wife-flashback, remembering Viktor lying dead in the rubble as he does this. (it's fast in the show - blink and you'll miss it)
83. Jayce having another dead-wife-flashback when Cait says "Viktor is at the center of all this, isn't he?", remembering him smiling, with a strand of hair prettily falling in front of his face, when that isn't what Viktor really looked like in that moment.
84. "I've been confused about a lot lately."
85. Viktors Mask as the herald resembling the Talis Symbol
86. Another homoerotic fight
87. Jayce never looking at Viktor in any of his forms with disgust, not even as he becomes some sort of eldritch being, but like this instead:

88. Jayce kneeling down calmly infront of Viktor, accepting his fate
89. Jayces whole speech on the astral plane. Calling Viktors imperfections beautiful. Basically revealing how his plan was to deter Viktor from destroying the world by confessing his love to him.
90. IN ALL TIMELINES, IN ALL POSSIBILITES. SOULBONDED ACROSS INFINITY. INEXTRICABLY BOUND. ONLY YOU CAN SHOW ME THIS. NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, IT'S ALWAYS GOING TO BE YOU.
91. Viktors eyes practically glowing in Jayces memory of him.
92. The "you have no idea how beautiful it is"-magic Jayce had been chasing since he was a child turning out to be Viktor all along.
93. Viktor bending the laws of the universe because he cannot let Jayce die
94. Jayce dooming the world over and over again because he cannot let Viktor die
95. "Because I promised you."
96. Jayce embracing Viktor again and Viktor, starting to glow gold where Jayces hands touch him.

97. Viktor telling Jayce to go, giving him the choice to live on without him
98. Jayce looking at him so tenderly yet sadly, because Viktor STILL doesn't realize he will never go. Ever.

99. Jayce passing the rune embedded in his wrist back to Viktor as if handing him his heart.
100. "We finish this. Together."
101. Them fighting to hold on to each other even though the force of the Arcane is pulling them apart
102. It finally giving up underneath the touch of both their hands
103. That one shot directly after where Viktor looks up from where their hands are touching and he has this expression on his face as if FINALLY realizing that he is no longer alone because of how Jayce truly feels about him. 104. Their pupils are still dilating as they look at each other, even though a bright light is shining between them.
105. Their final embrace: Touching foreheads. Jayces hand on Viktors neck. Viktor gently stroking his arm as if to soothe his partner.
Ps: If I have missed anything, let me know! I want to add it to the list :D

gojo's relationship with sleep was… complicated. he seemed to view it as an optional activity, like flossing or paying taxes. you, on the other hand, considered sleep a sacred ritual, and dragging him to bed felt like trying to convince a hyperactive hummingbird to take a nap.
"psst," he whispered, loud enough to be heard in the next apartment. "hey."
you groaned, pretending to be a particularly heavy sleeper.
"hey," he repeated, poking your shoulder. you swatted his hand away, a silent leave me alone conveyed through the power of sleepy aggression.
"sweetheart. darling. my bestest friend. my favorite person in the entire universe. sugar-plum. chickadee. kitten-kins. schnukapussy."
"what?" you mumbled, your voice thick with sleep.
"do you want to play a game? like, a card game or something?"
"what?" you repeated, your brain still trying to process the concept of coherent sentences. "it's the middle of the night. why are you awake?"
"i'm bored. my brain won't shut up. it's like a radio stuck between stations."
"and you thought waking me up would fix that? now we're both going to be miserable," you grumbled, turning over.
"…so, about that game?" he asked, sounding genuinely hopeful.
you stared at him, resisting the urge to express your frustration with a well-placed pillow. "this is what happens when you eat a whole bag of candy before bed. you turn into a nocturnal gremlin."
he shrugged. "oops."
"don't 'oops' me. i'm trying to sleep."
"but you're awake now," he pointed out, with infuriating logic.
"that's not the point!" you sighed, pulling the covers over your head.
he gave you a look that said, "please? with a cherry on top?" and, against your better judgment, you caved. you sighed, pulling him closer. "fine. no games. but i'll do the hair thing. the one that makes you sleepy."
he settled against you, all warm and impossibly comfortable. "until i'm asleep?"
"yes," you said, keeping you eyes trained on him. "until you're asleep."
as you ran your hands through his white locks, he was out in minutes, snoring softly. you smiled, finally feeling yourself drift off.
then, just as you were about to fall asleep, your brain decided to stage a revolt. wide awake. you stared at the ceiling, wondering if you could convince gojo to share his ability to function on zero sleep. to say the least, this would be a long night.

I realized the other day that the reason I didn't watch much TV as a teenager (and why I'm only now catching up on late aughts/early teens media that I missed), is because I literally didn't understand how to use our TV. My parents got a new system, and it had three remotes with a Venn diagram of functions. If someone left the TV on an unfamiliar mode, I didn't know how to get back to where I wanted to be, so I just stopped watching TV on my own altogether.
I explained all this to my therapist, because I didn't know if this was more related to my then-unnoticed autism, or to my relationship with my parents at the time (we had issues less/unrelated to neurodivergency). She told me something interesting.
In children's autism assessments, a common test is to give them a straightforward task that they cannot reasonably perform, like opening an overtight jar. The "real" test is to see, when they realize that they cannot do it on their own, if they approach a caregiver for help. Children that do not seek help are more likely to be autistic than those that do.
This aligns with the compulsory independence I've noticed to be common in autistic adults, particularly articulated by those with lower support needs and/or who were evaluated later in life. It just genuinely does not occur to us to ask for help, to the point that we abandon many tasks that we could easily perform with minor assistance. I had assumed it was due to a shared common social trauma (ie bad experiences with asking for help in the past), but the fact that this trait is a childhood test metric hints at something deeper.
My therapist told me that the extremely pathologizing main theory is that this has something to do with theory of mind, that is doesn't occur to us that other people may have skills that we do not. I can't speak for my early childhood self, or for all autistic people, but I don't buy this. Even if I'm aware that someone else has knowledge that I do not (as with my parents understanding of our TV), asking for help still doesn't present itself as an option. Why?
My best guess, using only myself as a model, is due to the static wall of a communication barrier. I struggle a lot to make myself understood, to articulate the thing in my brain well enough that it will appear identically (or at least close enough) in somebody else's brain. I need to be actively aware of myself and my audience. I need to know the correct words, the correct sentence structure, and a close-enough tone, cadence, and body language. I need draft scripts to react to possible responses, because if I get caught too off guard, I may need several minutes to construct an appropriate response. In simple day-to-day interactions, I can get by okay. In a few very specific situations, I can excel. When given the opportunity, I can write more clearly than I am ever capable of speaking.
When I'm in a situation where I need help, I don't have many of my components of communication. I don't always know what my audience knows. I don't have sufficient vocabulary to explain what I need. I don't know what information is relevant to convey, and the order in which I should convey it. I don't often understand the degree of help I need, so I can come across inappropriately urgent or overly relaxed. I have no ability to preplan scripts because I don't even know the basic plot of the situation.
I can stumble though with one or two deficiencies, but if I'm missing too much, me and the potential helper become mutually unintelligible. I have learned the limits of what I can expect from myself, and it is conceptualized as a real and physical barrier. I am not a runner, so running a 5k tomorrow does not present itself as an option to me. In the same way, if I have subconscious knowledge that an interaction is beyond my capability, it does not present itself as an option to me. It's the minimum communication requirements that prevent me from asking for help, not anything to do with the concept of help itself.
Maybe. This is the theory of one person. I'm curious if anyone else vibes with this at all.

In January 2021, I got sick. I tested negative for Covid, but I assumed it had to be that, given the severity and duration. It lasted something crazy like four weeks, and after that I had this crunchy lingering cough and a host of other issues that just never went away, namely incredible fatigue.
I was always tired, never woke feeling rested, and started napping more and more, for hours at a time, sometimes three naps a day. I would sit to work on art and just tip sideways on the sofa. I'd be so tired I'd lay on the floor for a moment and be out instantly. My memory was failing me more and more, and the brain fog was constant. I felt really, clearly stupider, and the people in my life started to resent how much I slept. It was ruining my life.
I figured this was long Covid. My doctor treated me for post-nasal drip, allergies, mild hypothyroidism, vitamin deficiencies, depression. I ate better, exercised, got enough sleep. Nothing made me less tired.
Finally I saw a sleep specialist, answered a lot of questions, and did a sleep study at home. Found out I have pretty severe sleep apnea -- I will stop breathing roughly 30 times an hour. She hooked me up with a CPAP machine -- a nose snorkel -- and it became my new best friend. It's actually pretty comfortable, quiet as a whisper, and I finally get enough oxygen when I sleep. I sleep like the dead, not a moment of unrest until the morning.
The trouble was, I was still tired. Still falling asleep randomly, still losing motor function when drowsy. My sleep specialist diagnosed me with narcolepsy.
Apparently sometimes, when you get the flu and it hits you just right, it can trigger narcolepsy. Way back in January 2021, what I thought was Covid was a nasty narcolepsy activator that's been fucking with me ever since.
My doc put me on a stimulant specifically for narcolepsy, and it does work, but it's not a miracle cure. I'm still tired, but I fall asleep a lot less frequently, and I can fight through it. I told my doc that I still got very tired occasionally, and she said, "Sometimes a nap can help you get through the rest of the day. It's okay to nap." Being given that permission after years of feeling guilty and ashamed of sleeping so much made me cry on the spot.
It's a work in progress. I feel like I have my brain back, at least. But if you find yourself with symptoms like mine, see if you can ask your doctor about doing a sleep study. I think narcolepsy is more common than we think, and you don't have to feel like you're doomed to it.

Like Origami
Pairing: Oscar Piastri x Felicity Leong-Piastri (Original Character)
Part of the The mysterious Mrs. Piastri Series.
Summary: Felicity folds their lives around Oscar’s.
Warnings and Notes: Big thanks to @llirawolf , who listens to me ramble 😂
Oscar had always known that being an F1 driver came with a cost.
Time, mostly. Energy. Pieces of himself chipped away across continents — interviews, debriefs, simulator hours, long-haul flights that blurred the edges of his life into airport lounges and hotel lobbies.
He missed sleep. He missed Bedtime. He missed Bee’s first attempt at drawing a cat (which looked more like a haunted pancake). He missed days at home with Felicity.
But it never really broke him.
Because Felicity never let it.
Being an F1 driver required everything. His time. His focus. His body. His brain. It asked for obsession and then demanded more. And somehow, Felicity had folded their entire life around it — not like a sacrifice, but like origami. Seamless. Beautiful. Functional.
Their schedules bent around his. Flights arranged, appointments timed, Bee’s activities slotted into neat little windows that didn’t collide with debriefs or simulator days or media obligations. The chaos of the racing calendar never touched him at home — because Felicity had already smoothed it out.
She handled the mortgage and the taxes and the kindergarten applications. She learned the structure of F1 contracts before he even signed his first one. Their fridge always had the right snacks, Bee always had backup outfits in her cubby at Kindergarten, and Oscar never, ever had to think about whether they were low on laundry detergent.
The garden bloomed when he was home. Dinners appeared like magic. Bee’s schedule adjusted itself so he could still read her a bedtime story before she fell asleep drooling on his shoulder. The house was calm. Meals were warm. The only thing he ever had to remember was where his slippers were.
Oscar never asked Felicity to built their lives around his.
She just did it.
Without fanfare. Without passive-aggressive remarks or pointed silences. Felicity folded their entire world into a rhythm that let him chase speed while never falling apart.
There were meals in the freezer labeled with dates and instructions. Garden vegetables cleaned, chopped, and tucked into glass containers. His race gear was always washed, his vitamins stocked, his passport renewed before he even thought to check. When he came home, the house felt like a deep breath. Like rest.
When he was home, she never handed him a to-do list.
She handed him their daughter.
And that was it.
He didn’t have to manage groceries or bills or appointments. He didn’t have to double-check if Bee had clean socks or if the chickens had eaten or if the plumber was coming Thursday. He didn’t even have to pack his kit —because Felicity had already done it, tucked a protein bar into the side pocket and added a hand-written note.
No expectation to fix the fence or organise the pantry or figure out why the hot water pressure was acting up in the guest shower. She’d already handled it. Or would. What she needed was him.
Just him. Present and soft and theirs.
Oscar didn’t know how to explain it to people who hadn’t lived it. Who hadn’t walked through the door at 1 a.m. after a red-eye and found their home warm and humming, their child asleep in a bed full of storybooks and dreams, and their wife sitting at the kitchen table with tea and a smile that made him forget every horrible session that came before.
All he had to do was come home and be.
Be Bee’s dad. Be Felicity’s husband. Be the quiet, tired, grateful version of himself that only existed within their walls. The one who didn’t have to be sharp-edged or interview-ready. The one who could collapse on the floor and let his daughter crawl onto his back mid-storytime.
Felicity had made a life that worked around his — so that when he walked back into it, he wasn’t expected to fix or lead or plan.
He was expected to rest.
To hold Bee.
To breathe.
He’d never asked Felicity to do any of it. She just did.
She learned what days he needed quiet. She knew when he was withdrawing too far into his own head. She knew how to keep the house humming while giving him space to exhale — without making him feel like he was failing for needing it.
And that was what broke him, sometimes. Quietly. Privately.
Because Felicity never made him feel like a burden. Never held it over his head. Never once made him feel like she’d put her life on hold for his.
But she had.
Not because she was dependent.
Because she chose to.
Because she loved him.
Because she believed in him enough to bend the edges of their world so that, when he came home, all he had to do was walk through the door and exist.
Oscar wasn’t naïve. He knew she was brilliant. That she could be doing anything. That she could be running companies or winning awards or building something extraordinary in her own right. And in some ways, she already was.
Because their life — their quiet, beautiful, functioning, chaotic life — was something only Felicity could’ve built.
And he would spend the rest of his life making sure she knew he saw it.
Even if she never asked him to.
He didn’t know how to repay that. Not with wins. Not with flowers.
But every time she curled into his side at night, every time Bee reached for him with sticky fingers and sleepy eyes, Oscar knew one thing for certain:
The only thing he had to do now — the only thing he wanted to do — was show up for them, again and again, and never, ever forget what it took to make this possible.
Felicity held up their life like it was nothing.
And that made it everything.
***
Oscar realized it while sitting at the kitchen counter, barefoot and still damp from his post-run shower, a half-drunk protein shake sweating beside his laptop. The house was quiet—Bee at kindergarten, Felicity out in the garden talking to the hens like they were co-workers—and he was meant to be going through the calendar Mark had sent over. Just blocking out dates, syncing with Felicity’s schedule, adding a few notes.
He scrolled.
Paused.
Scrolled back.
July 21st. Hungarian Grand Prix. Bee’s birthday.
His stomach dropped.
He stared at the screen like it might change, like maybe the dates would shift if he just blinked hard enough. But they didn’t. The 21st stayed where it was, bright and bold, nestled between two practice days and a press briefing.
Bee was turning four.
Four. The age where memories stuck like glue. Where birthdays became important—not just cake and balloons, but promises. Traditions. She’d been talking about it for months. Sea-themed cupcakes. A dolphin-shaped cake. A sparkly blue dress.
And he’d nodded, said “I’ll be there, Bumblebee,” without realizing the truth sitting quietly in his own damn schedule.
The guilt hit him like a sucker punch—instant, sharp, and mean.
He didn’t even remember walking out to the garden. Just the disjointed blur of grabbing his phone, sliding open the back door, and calling out, “Fliss?”
Felicity turned from where she knelt by the herb beds, sunhat perched on her head, dirt smudged on her wrist. “Everything okay?”
“I need to talk to you.”
She wiped her hands on her jeans “Oscar?”
His voice cracked a little. “Hungary’s on Bee’s birthday.”
There was a beat of silence.
“I didn’t realize,” he said. “God, I didn’t realize, and now I feel like the worst—I promised her, Fliss, I told her I’d be there—”
“Hey,” she interrupted, standing now, brushing grass off her knees. “Breathe.”
“I was supposed to be there,” he said again, softer this time. “She’s been planning it for months. The dolphin cake, the cupcakes, the balloons—and I just—how did I miss it?”
“You didn’t,” Felicity said gently. “You’re just juggling a hundred other things. But you’re not missing it.”
He blinked. “What?”
She smiled, walking toward him across the grass, sunlight catching the gold chain around her neck. “I already booked the flights.”
Oscar just stared at her.
“I figured it out last week,” she added. “Called Mark, sorted the paddock passes. Bee’s excited about it. She wants to wear her dolphin dress to the track and bring cupcakes for the engineers.”
He was stunned. “You’re serious?”
“Of course I’m serious,” she said. “You’re her dad. You don’t miss her birthday unless you’re in space. We’ll come to you. It’s just geography.”
“But—race weekend—media—timings—”
Felicity reached for his hand. “She doesn’t care about any of that. She wants her papa to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ slightly off-key and help her blow out candles. That’s what matters.”
Oscar scrubbed a hand over his face, suddenly breathless with love and relief and the unbearable ache of it all. “How do you always fix everything?”
Felicity shrugged. “Because I know you. And I know her.”
And just like that, the weight lifted.
He’d still be racing that weekend. Still chasing tenths and points and podiums.
But when Bee turned four, Oscar wouldn’t be missing him.

Odds of Survival part 9
Jazz has an itty bitty teeny weeny severe mental breakdown.
Credit once more to @keferon for starting this au.
———————————————————————
Jazz never thought he’d find himself deeply empathizing with the xenomorph from Alien, but here he was.
Doing freak shit.
A lone lifeform trapped on a spaceship with no idea how their technology works, no means of escape and no way to sustain themselves. Skittering across the ceiling and one wrong move away from murdering someone on contact.
Plus, I pop out of my mecha like an actual motherfucking chest burster. So I’m sure that’ll go over GREAT.
The parallels were compounding into existential crisis territory.
It got way too fucking close handling that checkup with the medic. Trying to keep his cool felt like he was trapped in an hours long quick time event. Every question had to be snap judged for the safest possible answer. Completely make shit up and risk getting caught in the act, don’t give away any information and they’ll know you’re hiding something.
Jazz juggled that damn Catch 22 like a professional. Thank you.
Case in point, while one of his mechas arms was still non functional, Jazz managed to maneuver his actual arm inside the cabin to grope around for some water to chug. Without disconnecting from the mecha.
That particular stunt felt like splitting his brain in half with a splintery wedge. The water was absolutely necessary, but the pressure inside his skull rang like an air horn zip-tied open.
Right now the only coherent thought he could form was the overwhelming animal desire to find a dark hidden hole and crawl up inside it. Then repeat that motion by disconnecting from his mecha, finding the most secure hiding spot inside that, and passing out for oh just a quick little 24 to 36 hours.
The pilot paused. Down the hall, mechas- giant alien robots- had noticed his disappearance. Even through the language barrier, Jazz would recognize the opening lyrics to his personal theme song anywhere: “Oh fuck where’d he go?”
Hidden behind rows of pipes, Jazz counted his inhalations until the thuds of metal feet passed him by.
Was the alien invader from The Thing scared? If it had finished building its spaceship would the Thing really have tried to take over the world? Or was it just desperate to go home?
Jazz was panting. Or maybe hyperventilating. He made a conscious effort to pull air through his grit teeth at an even flow. Even though he couldn’t actively feel his human body, the dull droning dread pressed through the disconnect to whisper “You’re running out of time.”
He didn’t know how long he had left before his stupid flesh sack would start giving out, but he needed to be somewhere safe when it happened. He’d make it. He’d make it because he had to to make it. He was the best goddamn pilot in the entire program and that was for one reason and one reason alone: Failure Was Not A Motherfucking Option.
If his options were do it the hard way or not at all, then the hard way was what the world got.
Once the guards passed, Jazz slunk along the wall, reaching upside down to fry another security pad, only for the door to open automatically.
Risking it, Jazz peaked into the room and not seeing or hearing anyone, slipped inside.
Once the door slid shut behind him, Jazz lowered himself to the ground one handed, scanning the room more thoroughly.
More screens, inactive. A chair and a couch. Miscellaneous wall kibbling, a table, cabinets. Windows.
Jazz gasped.
Glowing clouds of light, layered like sheets stretching into infinity. Star clusters like paint splatters on black velvet.
White and amber. A haze of something pink.
Unconsciously, Jazz moved towards the window, until he could lightly tap his visor against the glass. His field of view consumed by galaxies.
Back when they first launched him into space, Jazz had come to terms with the let down that all he’d get to see was a black slate and maybe a couple dots. The space station didn’t have many windows to start with, and all his space walks took place when the sun was “out”, so Jazz never really got to see as much of the Milky Way as his inner child hoped.
Now, the child was quiet. Face pressed against the glass, Jazz felt his throat closing up.
At least I got this. Even if I’ve got a half life, I got to see the stars the way they were meant to be.
He hovered. Wanting to find a song to match this moment, but couldn’t find anything more fitting than his own breathing. The rush of blood in his ears was still loud, but a white noise that could substitute for silence.
Like a marble rolling off a table, Jazz felt his stomach drop a moment before his conscious mind could follow.
“It’s wonderful isn’t it?”
Jazz had his arm cocked back to turn the poor fuckers face into a plate but locked himself mid swing at the last second. The mech had lifted a tablet to protect himself, and the move was such a Bullied Nerd cliche it stopped Jazz cold.
Now that his heart rate was breaking highway speed limits again, the angry radio static that was his racing thoughts drowned out any coherent thoughts of what to say.
The mech peeked out from behind the tablet and wow. That’s a guy. That’s just a straight up dude. Prowl and Elita were bulky enough that Jazz could at least imagine where a pilot could sit. But this guy? He looked like the only thing he could throw out was his back. Jazz didn’t even know “elderly twink” was a look possible for a giant robot.
Mystery Codger was staring at him. Jazz still had a fist raised.
Do something say something do something say something you fucked up you fucked up either kill him or start lying just do anything brain please.
“Could you help me find my glasses?”
Jazz faltered. “Wu- What?”
The mech uncurled from his brief defensive huddle. “My glasses? Spectacles? Ah, object-sight-improve-positive?”
The pistons in his arm faintly hissed as the tension released.
Maybe-
As if this was all normal, the mech gently set the tablet on the table, before squatting and squinting at the floor.
Maybe I just have actual brain damage.
Acting on mental autopilot, Jazz took the opening to behave like a normal person. Crouching and scanning the floor for giant alien robot spectacles.
“My name is Rung by the way. I actually don’t think we’ve met previously.” Rung said that last bit with an odd inflection Jazz didn’t have the brain power to think about.
“Jazz. We definitely haven’t met.” He couldn’t quite keep the exhaustion from making that last bit come out snippy.
Rung simply hummed and continued his search. For his part, Jazz was taking the moment to center himself, preparing the best mask he could on short notice.
How long could he keep faking it? Prowl had been with him since he woke up and he didn’t show any signs of needing to sleep. They had doctors. Prowl cared enough about his “health” to take him to one. If Jazz collapsed in front of anyone, they’d drag his sorry ass back to the medbay and it’d be game over. He couldn’t just ask for a place to crash or else he ran the risk of tipping them off he wasn’t one of them if they really didn’t sleep.
A faint tapping sound made him twitch in his stupor.
“Now where could the blasted thing have gone.” Rung was sat crossed legged on the ground.
With Jazz. Who’d vaguely crumbled into a kneeling ball under a table.
Jazz stared at Rung tapping his glasses against his chin. The orange mech made eye contact, and Jazz swore to god he caught him smile.
He reached out a hand, pointing, “Found ‘em.”
The smile came to fruition. Rung aha-ed and held his glasses before himself, inspecting them fondly.
“All that trouble for such a small problem. And all I needed was to ask for help.”
Jazz let himself sag slightly against the wall. Dully thudding the back of his head. “Okay. I’ll cop that was a good trick.”
“It did pull you out of your spiral didn’t it?” Rung said sounding way too smug. He pulled a cloth out from where-ever-the-fuck and cleaned his glasses with it.
He’d been seeing these mechs pull out and disappear objects all day like a bunch of Looney Toons characters. That kind of lapse in logic didn’t bode well for Jazz’s mental condition.
He let his eyes close, rationing his remaining focus.
“How’d you know that’d work?” He mumbled.
“You seemed afraid. You stalled out when you saw I was afraid.” Rung simply stated before he then asked rhetorically, “You’re a protector aren’t you?”
Jazz made a noncommittal sound. Lying was his first impulse, but he really didn’t feel like giving this guy more material to hook him with.
The mech laughed once anyways, “You are. Unorthodox too. I can see why you have such a hold over Prowl.”
That got his attention, “I do?”
“Oh yes.” He heard Rung shift into a more comfortable position on the floor. “Even if he can’t recognize the feeling anymore, I think you give him hope.”
Jazz wanted to laugh and he would if he had the energy.
Instead Jazz sighed. “I’m kinda at rock bottom right now man. And currently? Lil bit fresh outta hope myself.”
And ideas.
Jazz was of the opinion that any problem was solvable if you were willing to get crazy enough, but this was like trying to solve treading water a million miles from shore with only sharks for company. He either drown slowly or get torn apart the moment the sharks realized he was there.
“Hopeless mechs don’t stop to stare at the stars in wonder, Jazz.” When he opened his eyes, Jazz saw Rung staring him down like he was insulted. “To be hopeless is to let yourself die. Do you intend to die today?”
“No.” He challenged back, body minutely tensing.
“Are you willing to do absolutely anything to keep living?” Rung poked him in the chest.
“Yes.” He responded just as quickly, but there was a rasp to his voice. Something small and quiet. Not easily caught. Not easily killed.
“Even ask for help?” Rung quirked his head at him, shit eating grin growing by the second.
Jazz deflated, groaning loud enough for his mecha’s speakers to vibrate his bones.
“Look, I appreciate the therapy session doc, but asking for help is legitimately not an option for me right now.”
Rung leaned forward, resting his chin on a servo, “Alright then. List your current alternative options that you alone can accomplish, devoid of any assistance whatsoever.”
Jazz didn’t respond.
The silence continued to linger.
“Go on.” Rung gestured.
Cornered, Jazz could feel his horns pin back and a burning sensation in his eyes. He rubbed a hand over his visor even though it didn’t actually help.
“Where’s Prowl?”
Rung chuckled, victorious. The scrawny orange mech scooted out from under the table and stood, offering a servo to Jazz to do the same.
The brief rest left Jazz jelly limbed, which was evidently bad enough to translate to a faint tremble in his mecha. Despite that, Jazz didn’t take Rungs hand because there’s no way in hell that guy could support him if he fell. Elita’s threat over harming her crew was still fresh and shiny in his mind.
“You’ll find his office down that way.” Rung pointed out the direction. “Down the hall, turn left at the first junction, pass by two more doors, turn right at that junction and then keep walking until you reach the end of the hall. His office isn’t labeled but I don’t think that’ll be an issue.”
Rung opened the door and then took a seat in the chair next to the couch. “I’d offer to have Prowl come to meet you here, but I have another appointment coming up shortly.”
Oh uh. He actually is a therapist.
Jazz laughed humorlessly, “Why not invite them to join the party? Make it a group session.”
Avoiding eye contact, Rung fiddled with a stylus, “Ah, that would not do I’m afraid. My next patient recently figured out how to “bite” people by quickly jabbing his helm forward and I’d rather that not be your first encounter with him.”
“Ah. Gotcha.” Jazz simply nodded numbly.
He paused at the doorway, running the directions through his head again, before turning back slightly. “Hey Rung? Thanks.”
“It’s Rung, and you’re… welcome?” The mech trailed off, looking at Jazz with surprise as the door slid shut behind him.
Walking away, Jazz got about thirty feet before realizing he couldn’t turn his head too quickly or else he’d start seeing double. Feeling the countdown drop into double digits, Jazz hurried along Rungs path.
And nearly crashed into another mech.
It had a head like an old school security camera, a single yellow camera lense cycling down to a pinprick at his appearance. The chassis was crazy long and pointed. Out of habit, Jazz tried mapping out what the interior would look like. The pilot seat would need to be horizontal but it was pretty doable. The limbs were definitely on the skinny side but sharp and fast looking. Bonus points for what was definitely front mounted guns.
All in all, solid design. 7/10.
“Hey.” The mech rasped.
Oh fuck right, Alien.
“Sup.” Jazz replied eloquently.
The camera lense eye loosed, upgrading to a coin sized pupil and clearly looking him over.
“Empurata?” The mech said casually pointing to his legs and visor.
“Uh, sure.” Jazz shrugged.
“Same.” Nodded camera-head.
“Cool.”
The two of them awkwardly stood in the hall. Camera-head seemed content to block traffic and Jazz was mentally banging rocks together in hopes of getting a spark of intelligent thought.
“Can I peel off your visor with a knife?”
The mech held a dagger pinched between its crab claws and Jazz had to bite his tongue not to ask why it didn’t just use those.
Instead, the brain rocks came through.
“Rung lost his glasses.” Jazz threw up a thumb, gesturing over his shoulder. “Needs help. Now.”
Good job brain rocks.
“What? He does?” The mechs head popped up like some kind of fucked up goose, before shoving past Jazz, knocking him into the wall.
“HOLD ON DOC I’M COMING!”
The mech folded inside out into a mother fucking helicopter?! Charging down the hall in a whirlwind so strong Jazz could feel it through his mecha.
Jazz counted to five, and crawled back up into the safety of the ceiling pipes.
He blinks, and he’s staring down another hall. Left turn, two doors, right turn. . . Wait. Was that a right or left he just did? He’s upside down so everything should be reversed right?
He doesn’t remember blinking but the hall is at a different angle. New hall? Or did he just turn his head?
Jazz wants to press the heels of his palms into his eyes until everything holds still but he can’t. So he keeps moving. Keeps hiding.
And then he sees the most beautiful goddamn mech in the universe marching down the hall. Followed by half a dozen substantially less impressive mechs with guns drawn.
Stilling, Jazz remained hidden behind the pipes. Evidently alien robots had the same peripheral blindness to ceilings that human security guards did, as none of them noticed him.
Except for Prowl.
Through the gaps, Jazz watched as Prowl gave rapid fire orders to the armed soldiers behind him. Six mechs. Six guns. Three too many for Jazz to take in his current state. Prowl went silent and his wings twitched. Shivering, Jazz got the deeply uncanny sense he was being intimately observed.
The lights were ringing in a tinnitus B flat. He had the audio feed from his mecha dialed way too high but he couldn’t afford to miss any detail of what would happen next.
Whatever Prowl was said next, it must have been in his native language. Which Jazz found deeply unfair after all the work he’d put into learning Common.
The black and white mech turned to his cohort, waving them down the hall ahead of them. Prowl did not follow, wings still minutely shifting position. Once they were out of sight, Prowl turned on his heel back the way he came. Flicking a single piercing look to Jazz.
Silently. Shakily. Jazz skulked along the shadows after him.
He mental map was fucked. Every time he blinked, Jazz lost track of the most recent few seconds of his life. If Prowl wasn’t stopping every fifty feet to not-so-subtly check that Jazz was still following him, the human didn’t know where he’d end up.
Finally, Prowl reached a door at the end of a hall and entered without any delay. Jazz dropped, moving inside before the door could close again.
“Please don’t freak out.” Jazz cut him off before Prowl could set the tone of this conversation. The mech closed his mouth and after a moment’s consideration, assumed a tense but mostly neutral stance.
“I will not ‘freak out’.” Prowl looked like wanted to say more, but Jazz couldn’t afford that right now.
“Awesome! Because right now I’m freaking out and I won’t be able to keep it together if you start freaking out too.” He was pacing back and forth, not really seeing the mech beside him anymore.
“Jazz.” A servo caught his elbow, stopping him in place. “Where have you been?”
“Oh you know. Here. There. Ceiling mostly. Shockingly unrelated, but I think a talking helicopter wants to wear my face as a hat.” Jazz nodded way too enthusiastically in a manner he hoped translated into an appropriately manic “Please god help me.” grit toothed grin.
Prowl was momentarily speechless before physically shaking off the latest deluge of confusion, “That sounds like Whirl. You would not have encountered them had you stayed in the med bay like you were supposed to. Now I’m asking you again: What are you doing and why are you doing it?”
Audibly cracking, Jazz tried to answer honestly but found his voice locked up. He couldn’t, why couldn’t he..? Why was talking suddenly so fucking hard?
Meanwhile, Prowl just looked defeated. He rubbed that spot between his eyes, not yet letting him go.
“If you cannot provide a reasonable explanation for your sudden shift in behavior, I will have to assume the worst. You leave me no choice but to-“
“I’M REALLY SHORT.” Great. Fantastic. Incredible work brain. Take five.
Prowls optics flickered. Brow furrowing as he looked up at Jazz’s clearly taller mecha.
“That’s not- I mean-.” Jazz clasped his head in his hands, switching back to English. “{I- I- don’t know if this is even real.}”
Something was gripping his arms. Black and white appeared in his vision. “Jazz, please. I can’t help you if I don’t understand what’s happening.”
Common was easy to learn but right now it felt like Jazz was playing Scrabble with a bad hand.
“Prowl, where do you go when you- when you change-body-shape?” He had to stop to breath midway.
Please, please, please this is the last chance for anything to make sense.
But instead the mech slowly shook his head in disbelief, “Where do I..? Nowhere Jazz, it’s still me, I’m not ‘going’ anywhere. My alt form is not a different person.”
The mech gently pulled Jazz’s hands off his head from where he’d been stressing the damage from earlier. “I understand if you’ve never seen an alt mode before but your behavior, your questions, they’re not making any sense.”
Prowl stopped. Optics going wide as placed his servos on Jazz’s wrists. “Jazz are you Crashing?!”
“What? What is that what you call a mental breakdown? Cause yeah I’m having one of those.” He said a little too breathlessly.
“Sit-“ Prowl pulled him down to the floor. “Sit down. I’m calling for a medic.”
“No!” Desperately, Jazz grabbed onto Prowl who was helpless but to join him on the floor. The floodgates opened and Jazz couldn’t stop.
“No no no no, please god no. They’re gonna find out. I need to to tell you. I need to tell you myself. Just, please I’m begging you don’t do it. Give me a chance. Just give me a chance to explain, I don’t want to wake up on a table, please Prowler.”
For his part, Prowl was handling the situation as well as to be expected. He didn’t try to leave again but did get into a more comfortable kneeling position next to the panicking mecha.
“Alright. Alright, I won’t leave. Speak.”
Jazz tried tapping an alternating rhythm on the floor, giving himself literally anything else to focus on. He swallowed back bile and his thrashing fight or flight instincts.
“I’m not-“ Jazz grit his teeth. Telling the truth felt like trying to pop a dislocation back into place. Actually no. Jazz had done that before and it had felt infinitely less unnatural than what he was trying to do now.
Prowl was patient. Bless his heart, motor, whatever he’s got in there. Remaining silent beside him.
The pilot forced himself to take complete breaths, “l. Am not. The same. As you.” One, one two, one two, one two, Jazz counted in time.
“I noticed.” Prowl stated flatly, then softening his expression, “You hadn’t realized you were an alien until now, didn’t you?”
Jazz laughed a little too hysterically, “No, no I Fraggin’ did not. Please don’t freak out.”
“Jazz, you are hardly the first alien species I’ve ever encountered. At least you actually look like a person.”
The pilot got very, very quiet.
“Prowl, what do you think of organics.” Resolutely, Jazz stared down the floor panels, refusing to look anywhere else.
Momentarily, Prowl opened his mouth to speak and shut it again. He shifted to kneel in front of Jazz. Sharp optics darting across his frame. Lightly, Jazz could feel him trace something along his undamaged shoulder. He shivered against his will.
“Jazz.” Prowl got down to where he had to look at him. He spoke so, so softly, “Were you created by organics?”
Well, when a mommy human and a daddy human love each other very much…
“You could say that.” Jazz rasped instead.
He hadn’t even moved, but the energy in the air just went burning cold. Prowl went from soft to deathly serious so fast Jazz visibly flinched.
“Listen to me. You do not have to go back. You do not ever have to go back. I swear on everything I stand for I will not let another one of those things anywhere near you again.” Unintentionally, Prowl was crowding into his space.
Despite himself, Jazz just kept drawing himself in smaller and smaller as Prowl closed in.
“No no no no you don’t get it, that’s not what I meant. That’s not what I am!” He started quiet and steadily grew in volume.
Prowl wasn’t getting it. Instead, raising his voice to match, “No you are wrong! You have a choice now! You aren’t just your function and you aren’t just something they made to die!”
He grabbed Prowl by the shoulders, shaking him, “I DID CHOSE THIS. I KNOW I’M GONNA DIE, BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT I’M FUCKING TALKING ABOUT.”
“Then what ARE you talking about?!” He shouted back.
“I’M ONE OF THEM.” His microphone peaked, and his voice broke.
The quiet hurt. Anything that wasn’t numb hurt. He gulped down air and couldn’t keep more than one eyelid up at a time.
Prowl ground his jaw tightly, practically steaming from reeling back a sense of calm by force, “You are not shorter than me. You are not thinking straight. And You. Are not. An organic.”
Jazz only semi involuntarily rolled his eyes.
“Fuck it.”
He disconnected, and everything hit at once.
Vision went and came back out of focus and way too close. His ears were ringing too badly to hear the sound of his mecha’s chest plates opening, though he knew that they were.
Every fiber of muscle in his body was torn and screaming, he’d throw up later if he had the strength. Jazz did not so much stand as he did lift off the pilot seat and then buckle forward. The hard shell of his pilot suit saved his knee from getting gouged by the corner of the platform he was slipping off of.
That’s fine. He’d land on the steps.
Except, his mecha had been leaning forward hadn’t it?
Like a rag doll, over the edge he went. A huge and blurry and black shape rushing to meet him.
———————————————————————
Is Jazz capable of telling the truth when it’s to save his life? No.
Will he do it out of spite just to prove someone wrong? Yes.
Also, secret props to @somerandomcockroach for showing how fun Rung is to write.
Bonus bit, Prowl finally let his EM field loose far enough for Jazz to notice! It was bad.

★ ˙ ̟ ─── . “distraction ”.
| summary | Haechan was paying attention to everything but what was coming out of your mouth now. | cw | fluff, talkative reader. | a/n | so... is it the same ship or not?
“And you know what else?” you looked at him with raised brows, your eyes glowing with excitement, happiness, and curiosity. “The Ship of Theseus.”
“The Ship of Theseus?” he repeated, a small smile dancing on his lips as he watched you.
He’d been sitting there on the couch for a while now, elbow resting on the backrest, cheek nestled in the palm of his hand, just listening to you ramble with a kind of captivated patience. In the past hour alone, he’d learned that octopuses have three hearts (each with a different function), that you shouldn’t boil water in the microwave, and that there’s a post office underwater in the Bahamas. That, and a dozen other strange little facts you’d gathered from the corners of the internet or your own imagination.
And now, somehow, you’d segued into philosophical thought experiments and “what if” hypotheticals—What if the internet shut down globally? What if black holes contained entire civilizations? What if you and he were enemies in an alternate reality? What if the person who invented ice cream… hadn’t?
No matter the topic, he loved hearing you talk. Even when you drifted into “If I were a zombie, I’d eat your brains first” territory, it was always entertaining. Time moved differently around you—faster, lighter. Especially when you were on one of your rolls, your brain and mouth fully activated, like you could talk forever.
“So here’s the thing,” you continued, eyes bright. “Theseus’s ship has thirty planks. As he travels, the planks start to rot, so he replaces them, one by one, until eventually, none of the original planks remain. So… is it still Theseus’s ship? Or is it a completely different ship?”
“Hmm, interesting question,” he hummed, pretending to ponder deeply for a few seconds before adding, “What do you think?” That was the magical sentence.
“Glad you asked!” your eyes lit up instantly, as if you’d just been waiting for the invitation to dive deeper. “We have to ask ourselves: what actually makes Theseus’s ship his ship? If we say it isn’t the same ship after replacing all the planks, then how many planks need to be changed before it becomes something else? Like, where’s the line?”
Your hands moved as you spoke, passion flooding your tone. “And think about us. Our body cells change every day. Some die, others regenerate. Does that mean we’re a completely different person over time? Or are we still ‘us’ even after all that change?”
“Hmm, difficult question,” he nodded thoughtfully, watching as you nodded back with enthusiastic agreement. “So this ties back to what you said about what makes a thing that thing, right?”
“Exactly! I’m getting there,” you giggled, visibly delighted. “So, some philosophers say that…”
He stayed quiet, listening as you rambled on, occasionally nodding or humming to show he was still with you. And he was—just not exactly in the way you'd think.
At some point during your monologue, he stopped focusing on your words and started focusing on you.
The way your brows furrowed at each contradiction, the way your smile bloomed when you hit on an idea you found satisfying, the way your hands waved through the air in wide, expressive gestures, it all captivated him. But more than that, what really got him was how free you looked. How natural. How completely yourself you were around him.
It wasn’t just about the random facts or philosophical tangents. It was the way you trusted him with every thought that passed through your mind—like you wanted to let him in on the world inside your head.
And god, he loved it.
He loved the way your eyes sparkled when you got excited, how your voice picked up speed like it couldn't wait to catch up to your thoughts. He loved the little creases that formed between your brows when you were deep in explanation, and how you'd pause only to grin when you realized he was still watching you, really watching you.
“—and that’s why some argue identity is more about continuity of function than physical components,” you continued, eyes bright, hands still moving, completely immersed in your train of thought. “But that was only one of the theories. There’s another one that…”
You trailed off when your eyes met his again.
There it was, that warm, soft gaze, like he was looking at the most precious thing in the whole world. His eyes almost pulsed, like hearts of their own, and his lips curled into an enamored smile that made your chest flutter… but also…
Yeah. That was definitely the look of someone who hadn’t heard a single word you’d said in the last five minutes.
“Hyuck… you’re not listening to me, are you?” you deadpanned, crossing your arms as you started to sulk.
He laughed, not even trying to deny it. “Yeah, I’m not.”
“At least you’re honest,” you muttered, eyebrows knitting together, a pout already forming on your lips.
“I was too distracted,” he added, and that soft tone again, like he was speaking more to himself than to you.
“You could’ve just said you weren’t interested,” you said, eyes dropping to the side, voice quiet and maybe even little wounded.
Another chuckle escaped him, even softer this time, as he scooted closer. Gently, he cupped your face, coaxing you to meet his gaze again.
"I am interested," he said, voice lower now, more sincere. "Just... more in you than in what you were saying.”
God, how he loved looking at you up close like this, close enough to take in every single detail of your pretty face, from the curve of your lips to the spark in your eyes.
“Plus, you can’t really be mad at me,” he added with a playful grin, pinching your cheeks lightly before gently squishing them between his hands. “I did listen to everything you said, up until a few minutes ago.”
He tilted his head, eyes softening again.
“I don’t know about Theseus’s ship,” he murmured, “but I do know you’ll be mine forever… no matter what parts change.”
You blinked a few times at the sudden declaration. If he was trying to make you less mad with such a ridiculous statement… well, damn it—it was working.
“That was so cheesy, oh my God,” you said, your tone lighter, a smile creeping onto your lips despite your best efforts. You didn’t look mad anymore. As stupid and over-the-top as it was, your heart was doing those annoying, giddy flips that you pretended not to notice.
He laughed, clearly pleased with himself, then leaned in to press a kiss to the corner of your lips. “What? I’m just showing you that I love you,” he said, the smirk on his face growing as he pressed another kiss, this time to your cheek.
You tried your best to hold a straight face, but the warmth of his words (and those sweet kisses) were melting away your sulk faster than you'd ever admit.
“You’re so annoying,” you muttered, a small smile betraying your attempt to sound irritated.
“And yet,” he said, stealing one more kiss, this time right on your lips, “you love me anyway.”
You rolled your eyes, but didn’t pull away. “Yeah, yeah… lucky you.”
His grin only grew wider, because yeah, he was.

死 KKANGPAE | #14 死
† camping trip mysteries †

"You'd have never said you'd be involved in a Council of 9 meeting at any point in your life; yet here you are, suddenly thrusted into a mission with the Chief you've just hooked up with, because your life couldn't possibly get more complicated."

next | index
⚔ chapter details ⚔
word count: 9k
content: female friendships, silly conversations, Vyunjin, dodgeball, AD being horrible with throws, cryptic stuff, council meetings, having to work with jeon officially, gang loyalty and bestie gossip

☠ author's note ☠
I really milked this camping trip for all it's worth, huh? Three whole chapters of outdoor shenanigans! I regret NOTHING. Anyway, here's the conclusion of our little nature excursion! Hope you enjoyed this slightly more chill setting (apart from, y'know, chapter 12's 👉🏻👌🏻 situation) because don't worry—there's PLENTY of time for everything to go spectacularly to shit later <3
MY KIWI HEAD 🥝🤧 I genuinely love him so much and I'm as surprised as you are! Who would have thought?? I seriously had ZERO intentions for Takama when I started this—no plan, no backstory, nothing. He just showed up in my brain one day demanding rights.
Maybe I love him so much because he's the only one with more than two functioning brain cells? Like, the man is just... chill. Nice. Using his fucking brain. Being all wise and grounding while everyone else is having emotional crises left and right. THE VOICE OF REASON IN THIS CIRCUS.
Takama x Reader endgame??? Jkjk this is a Jeon Jungkook fanfic ☝️ ...which doesn't mean shit won't happen before/after 👀
ANYWAY I'll leave you to make your own assumptions about our kiwi boy. All I'm saying is that sometimes characters write themselves into your heart and there's nothing you can do about it. Is it just me as an author having unhealthy attachments to my own creations? PROBABLY! You tell me!
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go cry about my fictional characters for the fifth time this week. It's only Tuesday. Send help.

⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾ ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☁︎
The morning hike with Chaewon was exactly what you needed—fresh air, quiet trails... No drama.
But of course, you can't have nice things in Kkangpae.
Not when you return to find V lounging on a log like some tragic hero while J-Hope patches up his split lip.
"What the hell happened here?"
You eye the scene, already getting a headache. The thorny scent of roses fills your lungs as V gives you what immediately recognize as a smug smile.
"Just a little disagreement." V's smile is all teeth despite his busted lip. "Jeon can get rather feisty when he wants to."
J-Hope just rolls his eyes, clearly done with V's bullshit. He hands you a sanitary napkin without looking up, too busy sorting through his medical supplies—which basically means please help me deal with this drama queen.
You crouch next to V, ignoring how his eyes track your movement like he's a cat and you're the bird he wants to catch. The napkin comes away bloody when you dab at his lip, and his body tenses slightly under your touch—barely noticeable if you weren't trained to pick up on these things.
"Careful now." His voice drops low, playful. "I might bite."
You don't miss a beat.
"You bite, you get no help." The words come out flat, unimpressed. "I'm not one of your fangirls, V."
His games might work on others, but you've seen enough of his thorny side to know better.
Those roses have teeth.
A low chuckle breaks the tension. J-Hope's back with his medical supplies, but V's still watching you—though now with something that might be respect.
Or whatever passes for respect in that thorny mind of his.
"You really had it coming this time." J-Hope clicks his tongue, cranky doctor mode fully activated as he settles back down. "Jeon isn't someone you poke for fun without expecting consequences."
"Me?" V's eyebrow shoots up, all wounded innocence. "I was just having a friendly chat. Who knew our brooding Chief still had some fight left in him?"
The act doesn't fool anyone—especially not J-Hope, who (you bet your ass) has been patching up the aftermath of V's friendly chats' for years.
"Friendly chat?" J-Hope scoffs, dabbing at V's lip with more force than strictly necessary. "You two always turn everything into a dick-measuring contest. One of these days someone's gonna end up with worse than a busted lip."
V leans toward you like he's sharing a secret, mischief written all over his features. "He's just worried he'll run out of medical supplies if we keep this up."
You expect J-Hope to snap back—he usually does when people get like this.
But he just sighs, shoulders heavy with a worry that feels too genuine for the Kkangpae's ruthless doctor.
"Or maybe I'm worried you'll end up with a split skull, dumbass."
It's weird, the way it dribbles from his lips—like actual concern.
Which is weird in a place like this, where caring too much can get you killed. But then again, J-Hope's always been different. Maybe that's why he's one of the few people V actually listens to.
Sometimes?
V's eyes meet yours, like he's either hunting for something or escaping whatever was swirling in the doctor's pupils. Though, as everything with V, it vanishes instantly behind that shark-like grin.
"Ah, Hobi, always looking out for me. What would I do without you?"
"Probably be lying in a ditch somewhere." J-Hope says it casually, but his snark feels less blunt now.
He gives V's shoulder a quick pat—kinda saying 'you're patched up, now get out of my face.' V nods his thanks, but his attention is already sliding back to you. His gaze lingers a bit too long, assessing.
"You've got a steady hand," he drawls, and you know he's not just talking about your first aid skills.
Thorns prickle your skin.
"And you've got a death wish." You hand the bloody napkin back to J-Hope, keeping your voice flat.
Unimpressed.
V's laugh shatters in the quiet. "Oh, you're interesting. I like you."
"Was that supposed to be a compliment?" You arch an eyebrow at him. "Coming from someone who just got his ass handed to him by Jeon, I'm not sure how much that's worth."
His smile widens; ever so slightly. Like what you said made him feel something—bad or good, you really don't care, but it's like his vines are slowly creeping into your lungs.
You just sigh, shrug it off. It's not your problem.
You've got enough on your plate without getting caught up in whatever dick-measuring contest is going on between V and Jeon.
Your attention abruptly shifts to Takama, sitting cross-legged in the grass like some zen master on his coffee break. Despite looking perfectly relaxed with his can of coffee, you know better—the man's probably cataloguing every movement in a three-mile radius.
He's just that kind of observant. It's just how he is, what he does, that much is clear from your training sessions with him.
Persistent without being belligerent; consistent without being insistent.
It's weird seeing him in casual clothes. The navy sweater and white collar combo is a far cry from his usual tactical gear, making him look almost... normal. Like he could be anyone's slightly intimidating older brother instead of Jeon's deadly second-in-command. Even his loose jeans seem deliberately chosen for comfort rather than combat.
He doesn't move a muscle as you approach, eyes fixed on the horizon like his mind has found refuge among the spongy dunes skittering away in the sky.
Or maybe he's just really into his morning coffee.
You plop down beside him, the damp grass immediately soaking through your pants because of course it does.
"Peaceful morning, isn't it?"
You break the silence, knowing Takama won't. Man's got the conversation skills of a particularly stoic rock when he wants to.
There's something calming about his presence though.
Like he's the drizzle after the hurricane.
Plus, he probably won't try to murder anyone over breakfast. Unlike some people you could name.
"Peace is rare around here." The corner of Takama's mouth quirks up slightly. "Savor it while it lasts."
You settle into the comfortable silence, watching the horizon paint itself in morning colors. Next to Takama, even coffee breaks feel philosophical.
"You and V," he starts, offering you the can. "You get along?"
You grab it and take a sip, considering your answer. The coffee's gone lukewarm.
"Hmm."
Yeah that's your answer, because you don't really know what to reply. It's definitely not a yes, but you don't... hate him either?
"He's a wildcard, but I can handle him," is what you end up settling for.
What follows is Takama's laugh—quiet, understated like everything else about him.
"V is... unpredictable. But he's loyal to the gang, in his own way." He pauses, choosing words carefully. "Just watch your back. Testing people is how he entertains himself."
You pass the can back, watching him take another sip. The liquid works through a swallow down his throat, and his Adam's apple bobs slightly. His head tilts towards you when he notices you've gone silent.
"And Jeon? How do you find working with him?"
The question makes your skin prickle, and you know it's not because of how sudden it is—but because of something else, as well.
Images from last night force their way through your mind like a wiggling worm unwilling to let go—callouses on skin, that silver lip ring, the way he'd touched you like you might break.
You take your time answering, very aware that this is Jeon's right-hand man asking—and that your neck probably still has marks his mouth left behind.
But you're not about to tell Takama that.
"He's... intense." You focus on shredding a blade of grass, needing something to do with your hands. "But we kind of... get each other, I guess."
Takama finally looks at you, and fuck—there's way too much understanding in those gray eyes.
Because with V you have a noncommittal answer.
But you just said you get along with Jeon. Kinda.
He doesn't comment on it, and it makes sense—being Jeon's second means he probably sees more than most.
About how hard exactly it is to be in Jeon's circle. Not part of it, not even near—just hovering.
It's not easy, you know that much.
"Jeon respects strength," he says quietly, like he's sharing a secret. "Stand your ground, and you'll earn his respect."
A pause. Then he adds, hushedly:
"Maybe more."
Your pupils flicker between his, trying to parse whatever the hell he means—but nothing in there gives you a hint.
He simply smiles, getting up and helping you up too.
You both turn back to watch the camp wake up, the morning routine starting to buzz around you.
Someone's cursing about cold showers. Someone else is complaining about AD.
You take another sip of lukewarm coffee, letting the bitterness ground you. It's easier than thinking about what maybe more might mean, or why your stomach churns at the thought.
Besides, you've got enough on your plate just dealing with regular Jeon.
You don't need to add cryptic messages to that mess.

The peaceful morning doesn't last long—because this is Kkangpae you're talking about.
Moon's voice cuts through your post-gossip haze, drawing everyone to the center of the camp like a very formal shepherd. Some people look about as thrilled as you feel about being up this early.
"All right, everyone!" He's got that tone—the one that says 'this is mandatory fun and you're going to like it.' "For today's lunch, we're doing something different. Group bibimbap, but with a twist: you'll work in pairs."
A ripple of murmurs spreads through the crowd. You catch Takama's eye—he just raises an eyebrow like 'here we go again'.
"These pairings," Moon continues, all business in his long coat despite the casual setting, "are chosen to mix different divisions and personalities. It's about teamwork and learning from each other."
You barely hold back a snort. Trust Moon to turn lunch prep into a team-building exercise.
Your attention snaps back when he calls out, "Y/N, you're paired with JM. I expect great things from you two."
Well, that could've been worse. At least JM's not likely to stab you over vegetable chopping techniques.
When you reach him, he's already smiling that gentle smile that makes him look more like a kindergarten teacher than a gang's financial mastermind.
"Looks like we're a team." His voice matches his whole vibe—calm as a lake on a windless day. "Any ideas on what we should tackle?"
You're about to answer when a groan cuts through your chat with JM.
You turn to see AD looking like someone just deleted his gaming setup, while J-Hope's already got that 'done with this shit' smile plastered on his face.
"Bro, why the fuck am I always paired with your annoying ass?" AD slumps against a tree, all dramatic like the gremlin he is.
J-Hope just rolls his eyes. "Because Moon loves to torture me, that's why. Come on, let's just get this over with."
Your eyes inevitably roam around the clearing, taking in the other pairings.
Jeon and Chaewon—they acknowledge each other with matching professional nods, something like 'we respect each other but let's keep this strictly business' hovering over them.
Takama and Jessi make an oddly perfect pair, his zen energy somehow containing her wildfire spirit as they huddle together, already plotting.
V's got Yunjin trapped in what looks like his usual chaotic storytelling, though she seems to be holding her own—and then there's Eunchae and Sakura, who look like they're planning to turn lunch prep into some kind of competition.
Meanwhile, Kazuha's hanging onto Moon's every word like he's sharing the secrets of the universe instead of just bibimbap instructions.
"So." JM's gentle voice pulls you back. "Should we handle the veggies? I think we could make a great team in chopping and prepping them."
"Sounds good to me." You find yourself matching his easy smile. "Let's show them how it's done."
At least someone in this chaos circus knows how to be normal.
You follow JM to gather supplies, falling into an easy rhythm. His gentle energy is oddly reassuring, and makes even veggie prep feel zen.
Plus, he actually knows what he's doing, which is more than you can say for half the pairs around you.
Because AD's already whining about something while J-Hope ignores him completely.
Yeah; that's Kkangpae for you.
But then you catch sight of V with Yunjin and your stomach turns, why, you don't know. Poor Yunjin's holding her knife like she's never seen one before, eyes darting around nervously.
And its knives, so yeah, V swoops right in.
"Let me show you," he purrs, and fuck him for actually sounding smooth.
You see his hand sliding over hers, like he isn't the same person who had blood on his lip an hour ago.
"There's a rhythm to it, like a dance." You watch him press closer, caging Yunjin with his body while he guides the knife. "Feel the movement. It's about confidence, purpose."
"Like this?" Yunjin's voice is small, breathless.
"Exactly like that." He eases into it. "Every slice tells a story of precision and care. And you, Yunjin, have a knack for it."
You grip your own knife tighter, fighting the urge to stab those thorny vines right out of the air. He's charming, you'll give him that.
But you fear the sweet floral scent roses simply masks decaying waste underneath.
And he needs to stay the fuck away from Yunjin.
You can't help noticing how she melts under his attention, all shy smiles and batting eyelashes. Like a moth drawn to a particularly deadly flame.
"There, you're a pro now." V steps back with a wink.
"Thanks, V." Yunjin beams up at him. "I think I've got it from here."
A slight movement catches your eye—JM's knife has stopped mid-chop.
His gaze darts between V and Yunjin like he's watching a car crash in slow motion, and it's real subtle, but you catch the way his jaw tightens.
"JM," you keep your voice casual, "you seem a bit distracted. Everything okay?"
He snaps back to his vegetables, gentle smile sliding back. "Oh, it's nothing. Just... observing the dynamics. It's interesting to see how different personalities interact, don't you think?"
You nod, watching V circle Yunjin. "True. Especially with V. Makes you wonder what goes on behind that smile."
"Exactly." His smile is halfhearted at best. "Sometimes, the most cheerful faces hide the deepest stories."
The way he says it makes you wonder just how many of V's stories JM knows.
And how many of them keep him up at night.
You and JM fall into a comfortable rhythm again, just hearing AD complaining about something, Eunchae's bright laughter, the clatter of pots and pans.
Then—crash.
Your head snaps up, muscles tensing automatically. Old habits die hard in Kkangpae.
It's Chaewon.
She's standing frozen, an overturned pot at her feet, staring at one of Jessi's guys like she's seen a ghost. His hand hangs awkwardly in the air where it had brushed against hers. You can see her breathing speed up—tell-tale sign of panic she's never shown before.
JM's knife stills mid-chop. Before you can blink, he's already moving toward her.
Jessi's there too, quickly motioning for the guy to back off—and he does, looking confused and apologetic, but you notice how Chaewon's shoulders drop slightly once he's out of reach.
JM murmurs something to her, too low for you to hear (though you bet that gentle voice of his could probably talk down a rabid bear). Chaewon gives a tiny nod, but her knuckles are still white where she's gripping her sleeve.
When Jessi touches her shoulder, you catch that silent conversation between the three of them.
The kind that comes from knowing someone's demons intimately.
"Alright, everyone, back to work." Jessi shouts. "Nothing to see here. Let's keep the focus on the task at hand."
Everyone turns back to their tasks, but you don't miss how JM stays close to Chaewon, or how Jessi's eyes keep scanning the crowd like she's daring anyone to make this worse.
JM hovers near her for another minute before coming back to your chopping station, and when he does, he picks up his knife and starts slicing carrots like nothing's happened at all.
"Guess we all have our off days, huh?" You keep your voice light, casual. No pressure.
JM's knife stills for a moment. He doesn't look up.
"Everyone has ghosts they're running from." The words come out soft. "Some just hide them better than others."
You let the silence settle. There's an unspoken rule in the gang—you don't go digging in other people's graveyards unless they hand you the shovel first.
"I'm gonna wash up," you mutter, already heading for the makeshift sink, feeling like he needs some silence before being back to normal.
Behind you, JM's knife resumes its path against the cutting board.
You're shaking water off your hands when footsteps approach from behind. Months in Kkangpae have taught you to be alert even for something as mundane as washing up after veggie prep.
"So you do know how to clean up."
The low drawl sends heat crawling up your spine. You know that voice—and the smirk that goes with it—without having to turn around.
"Turns out, I'm full of surprises." You flick excess water in Jeon's direction, catching his dangerous half-smile when you glance over your shoulder.
His chuckle hits you right in the gut, deep and rich and —fuck—suddenly all you can think about is last night.
His hands, his mouth, the way he'd made you shatter.
"Surprising indeed." There's that smug tone again. "Especially since I recall someone being too fucked out to help with cleanup duty."
"Well," you drop your voice low, just for him, "if you hadn't made such a goddamn mess, there'd have been less to clean up."
Your body remembers how close you'd been—how you'd ground against each other like teenagers, desperate and needy.
How his cock had felt pressed against you, so close but not close enough because someone didn't bring protection.
The frustration from last night still burns under your skin, reminder of what could have been.
If he'd just been prepared...
Jeon steps closer, and—fuck—even after last night, his presence still makes your skin prickle.
"A mess, you say? The way I remember it, you were just as responsible for the chaos."
"Chaos?" You meet his gaze head-on, refusing to back down even as heat crawls up your neck. "Don't flatter yourself, Jeon. It was... mild disarray at best."
His grin widens, and you hate how your eyes keep tracking that stupid lip piercing.
"Mild disarray? You were panting like you'd run through every back alley in Seoul."
You scoff, trying not to remember how he'd made you shake, how his hands had felt mapping every inch of you.
"Breathless, maybe. But let's not blow it out of proportion."
"Hah." His eyes narrow. "You've got a sharp tongue. But we both know—"
A shout from across the camp makes you both freeze. Your eyes meet his for a split second before you step apart, smooth as shadows. Professional. Like you weren't just thinking about climbing him like a tree.
Again.
You turn away, finally letting out that breath you'd been holding.
The banter gets you hot under the collar but fuck if you don't want more. Not that you'll admit that.
Even if part of you is already plotting round two.
This time with actual protection. Because seriously.
"Anyway," his voice cuts through your thoughts, "we should get back to work. Long day ahead."
"Right." You nod, and then go right back to prepping veggies.
Yeah. This is going to be a very long day indeed.

The smell of bibimbap hits different after spending all morning chopping vegetables next to JM's weirdly zen energy.
And yup—everyone's gathering around the portable tables, looking stupidly proud of their contributions like they didn't just spend half the morning complaining about Moon's team-building exercise.
You grab a spot next to Yunjin, who's already halfway through telling you about her latest drama obsession; eyes practically sparkling as she waves her chopsticks around.
"No but listen—the main lead thinks his brother died in that fire, right?" She leans in close, pink hair falling in her face. "But then in episode sixteen we find out he's actually been alive this whole time! Living in China!"
You nearly choke on your rice. "That's the most unrealistic plot twist I've ever—"
"Mind if I join?" Takama's calm voice slices through Yunjin's enthusiastic plot summary; slight smile that makes him look more like a monk than Jeon's deadly second-in-command.
"Pull up a chair." You scoot over to make room. "Yunjin's educating me on the finer points of melodrama."
"Ah." His eyes crinkle as he settles in. "The ones where everyone's secretly related and nobody stays dead?"
"Exactly!" Yunjin beams. "Like this one where the brooding CEO's got a secret relationship—"
"Should've fought harder for the meat distribution," you murmur, poking at your mostly vegetable bibimbap.
Before you can finish sighing about your protein deficiency, Takama's chopsticks appear in your line of sight, depositing a generous portion of beef onto your plate.
"Here. I prefer vegetables anyway."
"Liar." But you're already mixing the meat into your rice, trying not to look too pleased. "Thanks."
Yunjin pouts at that, surely expecting some meat too (even when her plate shows basically 0 vegetables anyway). You kick her under the table, and she almost bounces with a chuckle.
"So, V's actually a really good teacher," she says dreamily, pushing her rice around. "Did you know he used to work in a restaurant?"
You cough.
V's "restaurant" experience probably involved more knife-work than cooking.
"Is that so?" Takama asks, slightly puzzled.
"Mhm!" She sighs, all starry-eyed. "And he's so patient. The way he showed me how to hold the knife—"
"Speaking of knives," Takama cuts in smoothly, "your technique has improved, Y/N. Been practicing?"
You're grateful for the subject change. Watching Yunjin moon over V is like watching a butterfly land on a Venus flytrap.
"Yeah, well. Can't let the Seduction Division down, right?"
His smile is small but genuine. "Right."
Movement then catches your eye—Chaewon's heading your way, black bob bouncing with each step. She smiles when she spots you, but you don't miss how she falters slightly when she notices Takama. Her eyes dart between him and the empty space beside you, calculating.
For a second, you think she might turn around.
But then she simply strides over like she owns the place, sliding into the spot next to you.
You don't miss how she angles her body away from Takama, though.
"What's got everyone looking so serious?" She bumps your shoulder playfully. "Don't tell me Yunjin's got you all hooked on her dramas too."
"Not all of us can be as cultured as Yunjin." You grin as Yunjin pretends to be offended. "We were just discussing the finer points of V's... cooking techniques."
That makes Yunjin blush, but Chaewon's eyes sharpen. You catch that protective glint—the same one she gets whenever any of the male members get too close to her division.
"Oh?" Her voice is light, but there's steel underneath. "And how did you find our resident psychopath's teaching methods?"
"Come on, he was really patient!" Yunjin pipes up. "And his hands were so—"
"Speaking of hands," Chaewon interjects quickly, "I heard there was quite the incident at morning coffee. Something about Jeon's right hook meeting V's face?"
Trust Chaewon to steer the conversation away from V's charms while gathering intel in the same breath. Sometimes you forget she's your Chief for a reason.
Heels on grass make your eyes stutter behind Chaewon's silhouette.
It's Jessi; obviously—who claims the spot next to Takama, all long red hair and confident energy.
She's probably the only person who can make eating bibimbap look like a power move.
"Well, well." She waves her chopsticks at your little group. "What's this about dramas? Please tell me someone's finally calling out how unrealistic those chaebol storylines are."
"We were discussing layers," you explain, watching her pile kimchi onto her rice with the same precision she probably uses to plan weapons shipments. "You know, how people aren't always what they seem."
"Like how our fearless Chief here—" she angles her head towards Chaewon, "—pretends to be all business, but I caught her crying over cat videos last week?"
"That was one time." Chaewon tries to glare but can't quite hide her smile. "And you promised not to tell."
"Please." Jessi snorts. "Everyone knows you're a softie under all that badassery. Remember when you threatened to shoot that guy who made Eunchae cry?"
"He deserved it." Chaewon's voice goes flat, protective instincts flashing. "Nobody messes with my girls."
"And that's exactly what we mean," Yunjin pipes up, somehow making even this observation sound sweet. "Everyone's got different sides. Like how Jessi acts tough but always saves the last strawberry milk for AD."
"Oi—" Jessi points her chopsticks at Yunjin threateningly, but there's no malice in it. "Just for that, you're testing all the new rifles when we get back to the castle. Someone needs to make sure they don't jam."
Something about the easiness of the conversation makes something unfurl in your chest.
It's weird seeing these deadly women just... being friends. Sharing lunch and inside jokes like they aren't some of the most dangerous people in Seoul.
But then again, maybe that's exactly what Yunjin meant about layers.
"Sooo," Jessi prompts, "who wants to share their deep dark secrets? Come on, don't be shy."
"Real subtle, Joo." Chaewon rolls her eyes, but you catch that tiny smile she always gets around Jessi. "What's next, trust falls?"
"I'd let you fall." Jessi winks, making Chaewon snort into her rice.
Takama, who's been quiet this whole time, surprises everyone by speaking up. "Sometimes the secrets we keep aren't about trust. Sometimes they're about protection."
"Like how we all pretend AD doesn't secretly feed the stray cats behind the castle?" Yunjin singsongs then.
That breaks the tension, sending ripples of laughter around the group.
Even Takama cracks a smile.
"Or how Jessi acts tough but cried during that dog commercial last week?" Chaewon dodges the grape Jessi throws at her head.
"That dog was reunited with its family," Jessi hisses, but she's fighting back a grin. "Forgive me for having a heart."
"Yeah, buried somewhere under those nine inch heels."
You smile at that, and you note how the sun is high over head now, warming skin through the trees.
You should probably get back to work—those intel reports won't file themselves. But for now, you let yourself enjoy this moment of peace.
Even gang members need lunch breaks sometimes.

Dodgeball is usually fun. Keyword: usually—because when it's among deadly people... competitiveness is too light of a word.
You're in the middle of debating some strategy with Yunjin when Jeon's presence immediately freezes the whole camp. One second you're planning how to take down AD's team (he might be a tech genius but his aim is shit), and the next—
"Meeting. Council of 9, now."
Jeon's voice is calm, as usual. But it's precise, blunt in a way that makes your hackles rise. His face gives nothing away—typical—but something in his posture screams urgent.
The Council members share quick looks before following him into the trees. Moon's already at his side, glasses catching the sunlight. Chaewon squeezes your shoulder as she passes, and Jessi winks at Yunjin, but neither stops to explain.
Just like that, your cozy little camping trip turns into a war room—playful energy from moments ago gone, leaving behind the familiar sensation that comes with being in a criminal organization.
"Damn." Yunjin drops onto the bench beside you, pink hair falling in her face. "Even on a camping trip, we can't escape the threats."
Your little lunch group now feels weirdly empty without Jessi's loud energy and Chaewon's dry comments. You catch yourself staring at the path where they disappeared, like maybe if you look hard enough you'll develop x-ray vision.
So much for that epic dodgeball tournament you'd planned. Although honestly? Getting hit with rubber balls suddenly seems like the least of your problems.
"It's just how things work around here." Takama shrugs, wiping sweat from his shaved head.
Of course the dodgeball game's been put on hold, everyone too distracted by the Council's sudden disappearance to focus.
"Hey, Takemichi!" Eunchae bounces over, still flushed from running around. "Any idea what's going on? You're like, Jeon's right hand and all."
Takama's eye twitches at the nickname, but he doesn't comment on it. "No clue. But Jeon doesn't call meetings without good reason. Especially not during planned activities."
Your eyes drift to where the Council members vanished into the trees. It's odd seeing Jeon actually interact with people—the man's about as social as a brick wall. Even J-Hope, who he supposedly tolerates, barely gets more than grunts out of him most days. That whole don't-fuck-with-me hurricane aura of his keeps everyone at a safe distance.
And yet.
You'd fucked him.
Well, kinda.
Heat crawls up your neck as you mentally reminisce about last night.
Pride mingles with something else as you remember that untouchable Chief's face when he came all over your belly.
Focus, dumbass. Now isn't the time to replay your greatest hits. If Jeon's gathering the Council in the middle of fucking dodgeball, something's definitely wrong.
"Do you think it's..." Yunjin chews her lip, lowering her voice. "MDF?"
The mention of Myung-dong Faction makes everyone's faces go pale.
"Hard to say." Takama's voice drops to barely above a whisper. "But we did just wreck their trafficking ring. Hanjun's gone now. They're not known for letting that kind of thing slide."
You share a look with Yunjin and Eunchae. You remember Hanjun from your last mission—the way he'd crumpled when Kkangpae was done with him.
The way his whole operation had fallen apart like a house of cards.
Sakura's usually bright face is serious as she crouches next to you. "If it's MDF, we're fucked."
"They've been too quiet." Kazuha runs a hand through her wine-colored hair, eyes scanning the treeline like she expects assassins to materialize. "That's not their style. Not after what we did to their golden boy."
And she's right, isn't she? MDF isn't known for their forgive-and-forget attitude. Their silence these past weeks has been... unsettling. Like holding your breath underwater, knowing you'll have to surface eventually.
"Whatever it is, we need to be ready." Eunchae sighs. "Can't let our guard down. Not even here."
"We need to be united now more than ever." Takama's voice rumbles low as he scans the treeline."Division only makes us vulnerable, they might aim for that."
And he's right; because Kkangpae's strength isn't just in its firepower—it's in moments like this, when everyone's got each other's backs.
"Whatever the Council needs," you say, meaning it. "We've got their six."
The group falls quiet, the forgotten dodgeball lying between you like some sad metaphor for your interrupted normalcy. Somewhere in the distance, a bird calls. You almost miss it under the sound of your heart pounding.
A rustle in the bushes makes you lean back.
Though it's just J-Hope, looking way too serious for someone who was laughing at AD's failed dodgeball throws ten minutes ago.
"They need you." His eyes find yours, steady and unreadable. "Jeon asked for you specifically."
You share a quick look with Takama, and he's wearing the same exact puzzled expression as you.
"Me? Why would he—"
J-Hope just shakes his head. Great. Because being summoned by the dude you almost fucked last night during a secret Council meeting isn't complicated enough.
But you don't really have much choice, so you trail behind J-Hope like a kid being called to the principal's office, mind racing faster than your heart.
What the actual fuck could Jeon want? And why during the middle of dodgeball, of all things?
The Council's little forest hideaway comes into view, and suddenly you've got nine pairs of eyes drilling into you.
Great. Just great. Nothing like being stared at by the most dangerous people in Seoul while you're in workout clothes and probably still red-faced from almost getting beaned by AD's wild throws.
Jeon stands like a statue among them, and he speaks immediately upon seeing you.
"We have a situation that needs your input."
No greeting, no explanation, just straight to the point. Pure Jeon. You'd roll your eyes if you weren't so aware of every Council member watching you.
"Remember your first mission?" Chaewon continues. "The women we rescued? You were the only one who actually saw them in that room."
Of course you remember—hard not to, even if you wish you wouldn't.
That cramped, dark room with its rusty bars and stale air. Women huddled in corners like broken birds, some too afraid to even look up when you'd entered.
Your first real taste of what the Seduction Division actually does.
Not the glamorous spy shit you'd imagined, but the ugly, necessary work of saving people from monsters.
"Remember what any of the women looked like?" Chaewon presses.
You try to remember, but the thing that comes first is the smell of fear and desperation—thick enough to choke on.
Then it's their faces. Burned into your brain. And then... hers.
"There was one girl," you start carefully, watching the Council's reactions. "Couldn't have been more than eighteen. Skinny thing, but her eyes..."
You pause, searching for the right words.
"Even in that shithole, she was... I don't know. Like she was just waiting for a chance to burn the whole place down."
You catch the tiny shift in Jessi's jaw, the way her fingers tighten around her weapon.
The air feels like a forest fire waiting to happen.
"Dark reddish-brown hair," you continue, the details getting clearer as you speak. "Matted to hell, but you could tell it was beautiful once. And the way she held herself..."
"That's enough." Jeon interrupts you. "Your recollection could prove useful. We believe that girl is connected to one of our own. This isn't some random MDF hit."
Your stomach drops. Because shit—that... That changes everything.
MDF might be brutal, but they're not stupid.
Kidnapping someone connected to Kkangpae? That's not just an attack—it's a message.
A very personal message.
You watch the Council's faces, trying to read between the lines.
If MDF knows enough to target someone specific, how much else do they know? How deep have they dug into everyone's past?
The thought makes your skin crawl.
"Now we know this is personal." Chaewon's voice is ice-cold, all business. "The question is, how do we respond?"
"We hit back." Jessi's voice cracks like a whip, raw and broken. "Show those fuckers what happens when you mess with Kkangpae."
J-Hope reaches for her shoulder, ever the voice of reason. "I know you want blood, Jessi. But an all-out war will only get innocent people killed."
Jessi jerks away from his touch, but you see how her hands shake.
"I should've been there," she whispers, more to herself than anyone else. "I should never have left them alone."
The pain in her voice makes your chest tight; you've never seen Jessi like this—like she's barely holding herself together.
"Why don't we just storm their headquarters and slaughter them all?" V (who's been conspicuously quiet until now) raises his voice.
The guy is just leaning back against a tree, playing with a butterfly knife like he thinks he's the Joker or something.
"Picture it." His smile grows wider, more unhinged. "Their precious hideout painted red, bodies everywhere. We could string up their leaders—or what's left of them—as a warning."
JM gives him one look—one that somehow manages to pierce through V's psychotic haze. Like he's the only person besides RM who can actually rein him in when he gets like this.
V slumps back with an exaggerated pout, thorny aura receding slightly. The switch from bloodthirsty to playful is so fast it gives you whiplash.
"As entertaining as that sounds," JM's voice is steady, like a calm lake washing away V's chaos, "we need precision here. Not a bloodbath."
"You never let me have fun." V whines like a kid denied candy instead of mass murder. "But fine, we'll be civilized."
JM turns back to the Council. "Please continue. V's just... working through some things. He understands the need for balance."
Jeon's face gives nothing away, but you notice how his jaw tightens. Having to share space with V is bad enough—having to listen to his murder fantasies is clearly testing what little patience he has left.
"As I was saying..." Jeon continues.
JM gives V another one of those looks and V slumps against the tree.
The thorny scent of roses fades to something more bearable, though you can tell he's just waiting for another chance to suggest mass murder.
"I might have a better idea." AD clears his throat. "A bloodbath would be satisfying, sure, but we need intel first. Something clean and quiet that gives us some advantage."
You watch him run a hand through his messy blonde hair, thinking three steps ahead while looking like he just rolled out of bed.
"We know where their hideout is. Send in a small team, two people max. Get their data, their plans, their weak spots." He pauses, letting that sink in. "Information is better than bullets right now."
The Council members exchange looks. Even V stops fidgeting with his knife. You catch Jeon's shoulders relaxing slightly—he knows a good plan when he hears one.
"Stealth does play to our strengths," Jeon admits, and his eyes flick to you for a split second. "Who did you have in mind?"
AD jerks his chin toward you.
"She's perfect for this. Hanjun's well acquainted with Flower now, but Y/N? She was only there for the takedown. He never had time to report back about her or the other girls. But between all of them," he adds, "she's the only one who got to see all the girls."
Suddenly you've got nine of Seoul's most dangerous criminals staring at you. But you meet Jeon's gaze head-on, refusing to flinch.
Finally—a chance to prove yourself.
And maybe get some answers about what's really going on with MDF.
"She's just an ensign." JM mumbles. "She's gonna need backup."
The Chiefs exchange looks, probably running through a mental list of who they could trust not to fuck this up. Your heart's still pounding from being called in, from learning about this mission that could change everything.
"Jeon will lead this operation." RM's voice leaves no room for argument. Like he's announcing the weather, except the weather is your hookup being assigned as your partner.
Amazing, really love that for you.
"You're picking him for stealth?" V's voice goes high with indignation, like someone just insulted his knife collection. "I'm literally the Chief of Stealth Assassinations. What the actual fuck?"
Thorns prickle the air, sharp with offense. You definitely catch Jeon's tiny smirk—he's enjoying V's tantrum way too much.
"Jeon has the discipline this requires." RM's tone could freeze hell itself. "We can't afford your... creative interpretations of orders right now."
V opens his mouth—probably to suggest murdering everyone involved, knowing him—but JM slaps a hand over it. The look V gives him could kill a lesser man, but JM just raises an eyebrow.
"This mission's success is crucial." RM continues like V isn't plotting JM's death with his eyes. "We need strategy, not chaos."
You watch Jeon's face carefully. His expression gives nothing away, but you just know he's thinking the same thing you are:
How the fuck are you two supposed to focus on a stealth mission when you can barely keep your hands off each other?
"Come on," V's voice drags after getting rid of JM's hand, "we all remember how well these two work together. Like gasoline and a lit match. Either they'll kill each other or fuck like rabbits. Not ideal for a stealth op, eh?"
JM smacks his shoulder, but V just grins wider. Your face burns as Jeon goes rigid beside you, like a gathering strength.
If looks could kill, V would be six feet under from the glare Jeon's sending him.
You stare very intently at a patch of grass, fighting the urge to squirm, because V has no idea how close to home that "fucking like rabbits" comment hits.
Or maybe he does—you can never tell what that psycho actually knows.
"Enough." JM sighs. "RM's guidance is sound. Jeon, you're our best strategic mind. Tactical is probably our best approach right now."
Jeon's jaw works for a moment before he gives a sharp nod. "Understood. I'll lead the operation."
You let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding.
Stuck on a stealth mission with the guy you've secretly hooked up with, while his psychotic sworn enemy watches and makes sex jokes.
Just another day in Kkangpae.
"For now," RM's redirects the conversation swiftly, "let's focus on the task at hand. This camping trip was meant to build unity and trust. We can't lose sight of that."
Unity and trust.
Right.
Because nothing says team bonding like sending you and the guy you're dying to have sex with to infiltrate enemy territory while pretending you've never seen each other naked.
"There will be time later to prepare for the mission." He adds. "But while we're here, I expect everyone's full commitment to this team-building exercise."
Jeon surprises you by actually looking... chastened? as he gives RM a short nod. "You're right. My priorities were misplaced. I apologize for the disruption."
And that's... New. You've never heard Jeon apologize for anything.
But then again, RM's probably the only person in Seoul who could make him bow down. The amount of respect Jeon has for him is almost an entity of its own.
"No need to apologize." RM's stern expression softens slightly. "Let's refocus together on strengthening our bonds as a crew."
More team bonding. Because that's exactly what you need right now... bonding,̶ ̶o̶r̶ b̶o̶n̶i̶n̶g̶?̶
You give Jeon one last look before V's voice cuts through, all manic energy as usual.
"Last one back has to clean everyone's dishes!"
And then he just... takes off running like the psychopath he is, thorns receding with him. Because of course he'd turn this into a competition.
"Oh, fuck no!" Jessi kicks off her heels, already sprinting after him in bare feet. "I am not cleaning after his ass."
Chaewon and JM share this look—probably something like 'we're both too dignified for this shit' passing between them before they're running too, probably realizing nobody wants to risk V winning anything.
"How childish." J-Hope rolls his eyes, but AD's already got that gleam he gets when someone issues a challenge.
"Childish?" AD's grin is pure evil. "I bet I could eat enough for ten people. Give you something real nice to clean."
"You little shit—" J-Hope takes off after him. "Get back here!"
You glance back at Jeon and RM, both still walking like they're above such peasant activities.
But fuck it—you're already sweaty from dodgeball, might as well commit to the chaos.
"Think I'll take AD's strategy." You flash Jeon your sweetest smile. "Eat everything in sight, let someone else deal with cleanup."
You're running before he can reply, laughter bubbling up.
And then, merely a few second later, you hear his steady footsteps turn into something faster.
Looks like even the mighty Chief can't resist a challenge.
The campsite comes into view through the trees, and you pick up your pace.
You jog into the clearing, lungs burning, only to find V and RM already there.
What the actualfuck?
"How did RM beat us?" The words come out between gasps.
The man runs a criminal empire in designer suits, for fuck's sake. He shouldn't be able to outrun anyone.
V just grins that Cheshire cat smile of his and then, Jessi, Chaewon and JM stumble in next, all tangled together and cackling like teenagers.
"JM's face when I almost tripped him—" Jessi wheezes, red hair wild from running.
Everyone else filters in gradually, catching their breath and comparing notes on who cheated (definitely V).
But oddly enough, there's no sign (or sound) of J-Hope or AD.
Then—
"You absolute fucking cockwomble, let go before I rearrange your face!"
"Not happening, you lil' bitch. I'm not cleaning your blood off the floor again!"
You turn to find J-Hope and AD crashing through the underbrush like drunk bears, locked in what has to be the world's most undignified wrestling match. AD's blonde hair is full of leaves, and J-Hope's pristine turtleneck is covered in dirt.
Seoul's most dangerous gang, ladies and gentlemen.
Truly terrifying.
"You wanna fucking go, asshole?" AD thrashes like a feral cat, trying to land a hit on J-Hope. "I'll rip out your spine and use it as a fucking ethernet cable!"
But J-Hope's got him locked down, using his height advantage like the bastard he is. AD might be scrappy, but the doctor's got experience wrestling patients into submission.
"You need to get out of this unscathed first, you dumbass—"
"Then I'll download your consciousness into a punching bag," AD snarls, still fighting. "Have you getting hit for eternity, you piece of shit!"
Their little death match stumbles closer to camp. J-Hope's got AD in a headlock now, ignoring the increasingly creative threats being spewed at his face.
"I'll be patching you up after this, you psychotic gremlin." J-Hope finally slams AD into the dirt, probably enjoying this way too much. "Maybe I'll sew a live rat in your stomach. Let it chew its way out through your organs."
They keep wrestling, but it's getting pathetic—like watching two drunk uncles fight at a family barbecue. Both of them are red-faced and panting, shirts half-ripped from trying to hold each other back.
You can't help noticing they look wrecked—covered in sweat and leaves.
Actually...
"They must've been holding each other back the whole way here." You snort.
No wonder they're last. These idiots literally spent the entire race trying to murder each other.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" V's voice rings out like a demented game show host. "Our esteemed winners, graceful as ever!"
J-Hope and AD freeze mid-choke hold, finally noticing their audience.
The look of pure horror on their faces is priceless.
"Dish duty it is, boys!" Jessi's grin is absolutely feral.
AD shoves J-Hope off like an angry cat, but they're both too winded from their pathetic wrestling match to do more than hurl insults at each other.
"This is all your fucking fault!" AD jabs a finger at J-Hope's chest, looking about as threatening as a wet Pomeranian. "If you hadn't grabbed me—"
"My fault?" J-Hope's voice gets higher. "Big words from someone shaped like a fun-sized candy bar!"
"Say that again, you overgrown fucking giraffe!" AD tries to lunge but stumbles, still panting. "I fucking dare you!"
RM steps in before they can start round two of the world's most embarrassing fight.
"That's enough, you two. We all enjoyed the show, but it's time to work."
They both shut up immediately—even AD knows better than to test RM's patience. But the glares they shoot each other could probably melt steel.
"Can't believe I'm stuck with your ass for cleanup duty," AD grumbles, brushing leaves out of his blonde hair.
"Trust me, I'd rather perform surgery blindfolded. But maybe next time you'll think twice before dragging me down with you."
"As if I need help being slow from someone who runs like a drunk giraffe."
Their bickering fades as they head back to camp, still shoving each other like kindergarteners fighting over the last juice box.
Well. At least you'll enjoy a show during dinner time tonight.

One would think dinner time would be dulled down now, after the Council meeting earlier.
But nope—gang members are scattered around the fires like this is some post apocalypse scavenging situation.
You can't help watching V with Yunjin. He's leaning in close and probably whispering some bullshit about knives being romantic or whatever gets him going.
And Yunjin—sweet, perceptive Yunjin who usually sees right through everyone's bullshit—is eating it up. She's doing that thing where she plays with her hair, pink strands twisting around her finger while she giggles at whatever murder joke V's telling.
You snort into your food, because you just don't get what's it with these two.
The weirdest part? Even knowing what V's capable of (the rumors about his "artistic approach" to killing make your skin crawl), you kind of get why people fall for his act.
He's got that whole dangerous charm thing down to an art.
"Hey stranger!" Eunchae drops onto the bench beside you, nearly knocking over your drink. Sakura slides in more gracefully across from you, because someone in your division has to have coordination.
"What was the super secret meeting about? You went in looking normal and came out all..." Eunchae waves her chopsticks vaguely. "You know. Intense."
"Classified." You shrug, trying not to think about what that meeting means for you and a certain hurricane-aura'd Chief. "Above your pay grade."
"Ugh, you're no fun." She slumps dramatically against your shoulder. "I wish I could join the Council just to know all the juicy stuff."
"We're here if you need to talk," Sakura adds quietly, and fuck—sometimes you forget how perceptive your division can be.
"Thanks." You bump Eunchae's shoulder, warmth blooming in your chest. These idiots might be professional honey traps, but they're your idiots. "I mean it."
You go back to your food, half-listening to Eunchae's story about some mark who thought cryptocurrency was foreplay. But your eyes keep drifting to V and Yunjin.
What's your friendly neighborhood psychopath plotting this time?
However, the first drops of rain quickly hit your food like tiny bullets. Within seconds, the drizzle turns into a full-blown downpour because of courseit does.
Nothing like a surprise shower to end your deeply suspicious dinner observations.
"Oh, come on." Eunchae snatches up her plate, already running for cover, chestnut hair plastered to her face by the time she makes it three steps.
Your eyes snap to where V still has Yunjin trapped in conversation. They're both getting soaked but Yunjin's still hanging on his every word, pink hair turning darker in the rain.
"Yunjin!" You pitch your voice to carry over the rain. "Unless you want to catch pneumonia, might want to wrap it up!"
She blinks like she's coming out of a trance, finally noticing she's halfway to drowned. The spell breaks—thank fuck—and she hurries over to you, gathering her stuff with slightly shaky hands.
"Thanks for the save." Her voice is quiet, almost sheepish. "Got a bit... distracted."
"Yeah, no shit." You grab her arm, steering her toward your tent. "Let's get inside before we both melt."
You dodge through the chaos of gang members running for shelter, curses mixing with laughter. Someone—probably AD—slips in a mud puddle and lets out a string of creative profanity that would make a sailor blush.
The relative safety of your tent feels like crossing a finish line. The rain hammers against the canvas, but at least you're dry.
Well. Drier.
The rain doesn't let up for hours, turning the campsite into something out of a moody indie film. But inside your tent? It's like a sleepover bubble—wrapped up in cozy blankets and the glow from Yunjin's phone where some poor actor is having his third dramatic breakdown of the episode.
Yunjin's using your stomach as a pillow, pink hair splayed across your hoodie while she decimates the bag of chips between you. Every few minutes her hand dives in without looking, too focused on whatever absurd plot twist is happening now.
"This one's actually decent," she murmurs, smiling at the screen where someone's probably discovering their evil twin or something.
"If you say so." You can't help grinning as the male lead clutches his chest like he's having a heart attack over a text message. "These writers must be on something wild. Like, who comes up with this shit?"
Her giggle vibrates against your stomach.
"That's why they're fun! You never know what's coming next." She tilts her head back to look at you. "Kind of like living here, right? Never a dull moment in Kkangpae."
"God, don't jinx it." But you're laughing too because she's not wrong. Your life has definitely taken some drama-worthy turns lately. "Though I hope we're at least more realistic than that."
You both fall into easy conversation, trading comments about the show and today's chaos. When the male lead starts laying it on thick with the female lead, you see your chance. Time to figure out what the hell V was playing at earlier with all that knife teaching.
"So." You poke Yunjin's side with your toe, aiming for casual. "What's with you and V today? The whole knife lesson thing seemed... weird."
Yunjin doesn't look away from her drama. Of course she doesn't.
"I mean, have you seen him?" She sighs dreamily. "He's like a walking thirst trap. Those hands..."
"Oh my god." You stare down at her pink head in disbelief. "You'd actually fuck him? Like, actually actually?"
She finally tears her eyes from the screen, twisting to grin up at you with zero shame. "Why not? Life's too short not to ride at least one psychopath, right?"
The silence stretches.
"What?" She raises an eyebrow at your horror. "You wouldn't?"
"Jesus fuck no." You mime gagging. "You know he probably has some weird murder kink. Like, he'd probably want to chase you through a haunted house with a knife while dramatic music plays."
"Haunt play?" Her eyes go wide before she breaks into giggles. "That's... weirdly specific. But don't knock it till you try it, right?"
"Yun." You roll your eyes so hard they might get stuck. "He'd probably set up a whole haunted house just to get his rocks off."
"Okay but..." Yunjin props herself up on her elbows. "Haunted house but make it sexy? That's kind of genius."
"You're actually insane." You shove her shoulder, both of you dissolving into laughter. "I swear to god, if I ever hear spooky music from his tent—"
"You'll what, call the ghost police?"
Her laughter shakes your whole body, bright and infectious, and the small space of the tent makes this ridiculous conversation feel somehow safer, more intimate.
Just two girls discussing their terrible taste in men while hiding from a storm.
Even if one of those men happens to be Seoul's most notorious psychopath.
Yunjin flops back down, using your stomach as a pillow again. The drama's still playing on her phone, but you're too busy thinking about V's games to focus on whatever chaebol drama is unfolding now.
"For now," she sighs dreamily, "I'll stick to living through these ridiculous romances. Much safer than the real thing, right?"
You hum in agreement, watching raindrops race down the tent's surface.
"Sounds smart. But if you do decide to test out V's haunted house kink..." You poke her side. "I want every single detail. For science."
"Deal." Her giggle vibrates against your stomach. "But only if you keep saving me from his 'passionate teaching moments'. My knife skills are fine, thanks."
"Always."
The word comes out softer than intended, but you mean it. In Kkangpae, real friendship is rare as fuck. People either want to kill you, fuck you, or use you—sometimes all three.
But Yunjin? She's different.
And all the while; the rain keeps drumming steadily against the canvas, turning the world outside into a blur of gray and green.
In here, none of that exists.
Not V's thorny games, not Jeon's hurricane, not the Council's secret meetings.
Just you and your best friend, safe and warm while the storm rages on.
For now, anyway. Tomorrow's another story.

Happy Valentines Day
(Connor Rk800 x Fem Reader)
Warnings: Idk NSFW so 18+
Word count: 2422
Summary: It's Valentine's Day and instead of making Connor dinner you let him fuck your brains out.
A/N: This took way longer than it should have. It's pretty mid.
Tags: If you're still interested @joelsfavoritegirl
You were a festive person. Always have and always will be. Valentine's was your favorite holiday not only because of the pink and red strewn across supermarkets and stores but because it was a day of love: a reason to celebrate you and Connor’s union. You were sentimental. Sensitive and a bit of a sappy girl when it came to things like that. Connor was fully aware of it. He made note of it when you first got together. How you pouted up at him. Your bottom lip jutting out slightly covered in your lipgloss. When things didn’t go your way your pretty doe eyes would water with tears and coat your spiky lashes. Seeing you so whiney and needy all the time was an adorable sight. Especially when it came to him. You’d pout every time he had to leave for the DPD every morning. Today was no different.
“Do you have to go?” You fluttered your lashes up at him.
Connor turned his head to look at you while he did his tie. His hands skilfully mastered it. He felt his resolve waver seeing you so like that. You’d just gotten up. Hair was a bit messy, eyes a bit tired but what you wore got him. It was the babydoll nightdress. Baby pink in color and the cups on it hugged your tits so nicely. It was sheer and cut off at the top of your plush thighs. He had to resist throwing you on the bed and just fucking your brains out. Poor baby girl didn’t know what you were doing to him.
“I have to. Hank needs me for another case. Plus who’s gonna make enough money to take care of you?” He cooed down at you with his signature smirk.
You huffed out a sigh nodding in understanding. “Okay but are you gonna be home on time to celebrate? To eat dinner and do….other activities?” You blushed at the hint you threw out. Connor had been balls deep inside of you, lapped viciously at your pussy, and had you whining and calling him daddy yet you were still so timid. He nodded his head trying to hide his amusement at your shyness.
“Of course,” He smoothed out his jacket and reached a hand out to you. He cupped your face, his thumb brushing your cheek and relishing in its softness. “I’ll never keep you waiting. You know that.” He leaned down and placed a peck on your lips. He could taste that lingering lip balm on you. Cherry. You always had to have it cherry-flavored. He licked his lips tasting it and hummed. He reluctantly let you go as soon as he felt his cock begin to throb to life. Just kissing you was enough to send him into a feral mood.
“I’ll see you tonight.” He promised you and grabbed his car keys leaving you wanting and yearning for him.
You filled your day with meaningful tasks despite the growing ache of Connor leaving you high and dry. You were dedicated to making this Valentine’s Day one he would remember.
You had decorated your shared home in heart-shaped garlands and had a few scented candles going. If it was any other Valentine’s Day involving a human with functioning organs then you would have made a delicious meal and set wine out. However, this was Connor an RK800 model who didn’t need food or water to keep functioning. So you had to get creative which was why when he came home he was happy to see the festive decor, the soft glow of the candles around the living room, and the trail of petals leading to the bedroom.
You knew it was a bit cheesy of a tactic and overused but what other things could you have possibly used as a romantic trial? Connor had come home with flowers and of course, a gift for you held in the other hand. “Y/N…” He called out softly as he pushed open the bedroom door. If he had lungs they would have surely strained and stopped his breathing. He’d seen you in proactive wear before but this was the cherry on top.
You sat knelt on the plush soft bed with each leg under you. You wore a babydoll lingerie top that cupped your breasts, making them sit so pretty on your chest. The top was thin, sheer, and baby pink bringing out the color of your skin. A pretty bow sat in the middle between the valley of your breast effectively accentuating your body. A thong was keeping your pretty puffy lips in place from falling out. Connor could see you went all out this year. He set the gifts for you on the dresser and walked meaningfully towards you.
“You like it?” You giggled softly a playful smirk on your pouty lips. Connor sat down next to you, the bed dipping in the process. “Of course I do sweetie.” He moved your hair aside with his hand and leaned in kissing you on the exposed skin of your neck. You inhaled sharply your eyes softening and body feeling like putty.
Connor was programmed to analyze and interrogate deviants. So, naturally, he was able to figure out what aroused you and what didn’t. He knew of all the special spots on your lovely skin. His lips skilfully kissed your neck leaving hot wet kisses. You mewled delightfully for him making his cock harden.
He leaned into your ear whispering, “You sound so fucking pretty.”
It caused a pink shade to cover your supple cheeks. He never ceased to make you blush even when he wasn’t trying to fuck you.
“Lay down, I wanna taste you.” He lightly pushed you down to lay on the bed. Your hair was sprawled across the sheets and your arms were at your side. Connor spread your legs and dragged you towards the edge of the bed. He kneeled before you, slipping your thong off. His fingers skillfully spread your puffy folds revealing your wet slick cunt.
“I haven’t even touched you and you're already soaking.” He smiled cruelly at you.
“Connor…” You whined out, hips bucking up to get him to taste you, finger you, anything.
He laughed at your desperation, “Always so needy.” Connor didn’t want to give in to you just yet. He wanted to draw it out, have you begging for him to touch you. His plans quickly changed when he saw your pleading eyes and fluttering lashes. You looked so docile and cute that he couldn’t help but give in.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.” He spread your pussy folds further getting a good look at how drenched you were before giving you a long lick. He was hungry for you, tongue swirling around your clit and lapping at your puffy folds.
“Fuck C-Connor-” Your moans were broken and rough as he continued his assault. Your eyes rolled back and your hands immediately tugged on his hair.
“You taste so good.” He muttered the vibrations of his voice over your clit caused you to throw your head back.
He took your whines as fuel and dipped his tongue deep inside your hole. He groaned feeling it grip and clench, greedy for anything to fill it. He retracted his tongue humming and relishing in the sweet taste of your juices.
“Shh baby you’re doing so good for me.” He cooed to you and before you could reply he plunged two long and slender fingers into you. You gasped for air, body squirming under him. He had to hold you in place to keep you from moving.
“Connor I-I think I’m gonna cum-” You choked out, voice cut off by his fingers slipping out with a loud squelch. He smirked down at you and you knew he’d refuse to give you an orgasm. At least not with his fingers.
“Connor, please.” You whined out for him desperately clawing at his trousers and tugging his belt. You wanted to see him, stop this torture, and have him fuck you raw.
He smiled down at you, tilting his head slightly to the side. “You’re so needy Y/N.” Connor slapped his hand down on your cunt making you yelp. It came out breathy and far from painful. His hand smacked you again, hitting deliciously against your throbbing clit.
Connor engrained your reaction into his hardware, studying, and learning. He yanked off your babydoll lingerie, pulling it over your head and leaving you in nothing but your bare skin.
Connor was quick, fingers deftly opening each button of his shirt. His belt was next, his hands deftly moving to unbuckle it. He threw it on the floor, making it clang against the hardwood. He pushed down his trousers and underwear down and his face fell in relief. His cock sprang free, the head was swollen and leaking pre cum.
At the sight of it, you felt your hole flutter and clench around nothing. You squirmed on the bed, withering in need. “Connor please, please, I’ve been a good. girl” You mewled out, batting your sweet lashes up at him.
There was something so thrilling and almost primal about you laying before him so vulnerable. The way you begged for his cock had him hardening even more. You never ceased to make his heart clench and cock jump from how sweet you were.“Shh, baby it's okay. I’ll give this pussy what it needs.” He cooed to you so softly.
Connor pumped his cock a few times, his pre cum seeping from the tip and spreading over his shaft. He pushed your legs up to your chest and lined his cock up to your hole. He could see your pretty pussy tighten up in anticipation. An amused exhale left his nose as he looked up into your eyes. They were foggy, glassy with lust and pure need.
Connor pushed the head of his cock in and he groaned, hand coming down to the side of your head to brace himself. He gripped the bedsheets below you two and his face scrunched up in restraint. He knew first penetration was always hard for you. Your poor pussy couldn’t take so much cock so he had to take his time. He struggled to keep his composure and just thrust his full length into you. He knew if he did you'd cry out, sob, and claw at him. It was thrilling.
He sighed out and smoothed the skin on your hip with his palm. "Relax baby." With each second that passed he slipped in further and further in taking his time to stretch you out.
You were a mess below him, clawing at his shoulders and back. If he were human you would be sure he'd have red claw marks on his porcelain skin.
You panted like a bitch in heat, cunt clamping hard on him. “M-more, more Connor, I can take it.” You pouted up to him.
Connor chuckled at your bold statement. “You can take it huh?”
“Y-yeah I can take it-”
Connor slammed his cock into you causing a yelp to escape your throat. The big stretch was painful as his tip bumped your cervix. Your body jolted upwards away from him but he just pulled his cock out and shoved it in again.
“Thought you could take it, princess. This is what you’ve been whining about?” Connor smiled down at you cruelly. He folded you in half, pushing your legs farther up to your chest. His cock slipped further in, making a lewd squelching sound.
“Y-yes!” You cried out in response.
“Then stop fucking complaining and take my cock like a good girl.” Connor leaned down and kissed you roughly, tongue slipping into your mouth. His hand gripped your chin as he pumped his cock into you.
His heavy balls slapped against the plump flesh of your ass. The noise echoed around the room, bouncing off the walls and into your ear. Your juices leaked out of your cunt, coating his cock and dripping down his balls. He could feel it warm them and groaned into your mouth. He pulled back from the kiss, leaning his forehead against yours. “That’s my good princess, fuck clench down just like that.”
You blushed, your pussy clamping down on him just from the compliment. “Ahh! Mphm! Fuck…Connor!” You were loud letting high-pitched moans fall from your pouty lips. Your eyes rolled back and you bit down on your lip relishing in the sweet bliss of his cock.
“Don’t do that. I wanna hear you.” Connor smacked your face lightly and you released your bottom lip from your teeth.
“C-Connor I’m not gonna- I can’t-” Your words were chopped up, as you struggled to speak. They came out in whiney babbles and Connor couldn’t help but become amused. He thought you looked so cute like that. Your face controted into pleasure, words not even forming sentences just sounds. He loved seeing you completely drunk on his cock.
“Good girl, just like that.” He praised you. He pressed the pad of his thumb to your swollen clit, rubbing slow and tight circles around it. You cried out, clawing at his back. Your bambi eyes brimmed with tears. You blinked, lashes fluttering and coated in the wetness. Fat tears rolled down your pink cheeks as you came.
Connor noticed but didn't fret. You would cry often due to the pure delight of cumming. He leaned down, cooing to you and licking them up with his tongue. He could taste the bitter and salty flavor of your tears.
That simple act made your walls clench down on his throbbing cock. Your legs locked him in place, wrapped around his waist and not letting him retract further than he should. He pounded into your soaking wet heat. “Fuck!” He cursed as you milked his cock. One final thrust into your spongy sweet spot had Connor spilling ropes of cum deep into your pussy. He gave a few sloppy thrusts helping you both ride out your orgasms. Your cream and his cum oozed out as he pushed his cock deep in, making it overflow and spill. You poor pussy was a mess. All fucked out and painted white.
Connor panted for a few seconds but recovered quickly due to his android body. He placed sweet soft kisses on your red cheeks and your forehead. “You did so good for me baby.” His voice was soft and sweet as he spoke.
You smiled up at him, panting softly, “Happy Valentine's Day.”
